OHMYGOSSIP — Cole Sprouse says Luke Perry “was a good man”.
The ‘Riverdale’ actor has reflected on the life of his late co-star, who tragically passed away on Monday (04.03.19) at the age of 52, just days after suffering a stroke, and he said his friend would have rather had everyone remembering him positively instead of “lamenting it”.
Speaking to ‘The Late Late Show’ host James Corden, he said: “Luke was one of those guys, I think, that would much rather have us laughing and telling stories about his life than sort of lamenting it.
“He was a good man. He was one of those guys that you never heard a bad thing said about him, ever.”
Cole – who portrays Jughead Jones on the CW show – recently paid a touching tribute to Luke, saying California was “crying now” after his passing.
He said: “There’s a thousand things. All of us are — I don’t think there was a single bad thing I’ve ever heard said about that guy, truly. He is so loved. California is crying right now.”
Wednesday night’s (06.03.19) episode of ‘Riverdale’, the first since Luke’s passing, paid tribute to the actor.
At the end of the teen series, a black screen featured a dedication to Luke – who played Fred Andrew – which read: “In Memoriam Luke Perry 1966-2019.”
And the show’s creator, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, vowed to dedicate all future ‘Riverdale’ episodes to Luke, too.
He wrote: “Going through pictures on my way to set. From the early days. With Luke in the middle. Our heart, always. Tonight’s episode of #Riverdale finds Fred doing what he does best–helping Archie. It is dedicated to Luke, as all episodes will be for the rest of our run. (sic)”
Production on the show was temporarily halted on Monday and Tuesday (05.03.19) to give stars time to grieve.
The show was renewed for a fourth series in January, but it is not yet known how the plot will be changed following Luke’s shock death.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lana Del Rey’s self-published poetry book will cost just $1.
The ‘Lust for Life’ songstress has taken to her Instagram account to tease different poems from her forthcoming project, and told her fans that the tome is only going up for sale for the small price because her “thoughts are priceless”.
Lana told her 12.8 million Instagram followers: “Hey!
So I’m like super excited about self publishing my first poetry book. And I just wanted to say any mom-and-pop SoCal/ San Fran book stores that are interested in having it just let me know and I’ll drive you out a couple boxes when I’m done binding it in a few months xx (sic)”
When a fan asked how much the book would cost, the 33-year-old singer responded: “$1 … because my thoughts are priceless. (sic)”
Recent poems from the much-anticipated book, which is thought to be titled ‘Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass’, were posted to her Instagram Stories earlier in the week.
One line reads: “Jasmine in the air / the burden of fame is real / never felt so clear.'”
The ‘Summertime Sadness’ hitmaker is set to release her sixth studio album later this year, however, the star wanted to release her book beforehand because during her music-writing process, Lana realised she had some words that were better suited for poems.
Speaking to Annie Mac last year, she said: “I think I’m just going to self-publish it and put it out beforehand. It’s kind of random. Which is kind of another one of those things I just want out there just for me. I literally might just drop these little books off at some bookstores in Silverlake and beg them to sell them.
“It’s been really cool for me ’cause I was having a little bit of writers’ block with the music last Fall and so I just sat down to write some words without music and I realised there was just a couple of things I wanted to say through some poems, which is funny. I feel like I’m in the 19th Century.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Wes Nelson’s body started to “break down completely” this week.
The ‘Dancing On Ice’ star – who will be competing against former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro James Jordan and singer Saara Aalto in this weekend’s final – admitted that while his youth has been an advantage, he is starting to feel the effects of the gruelling skating show’s tough training regime.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’, the 20-year-old star – who is paired up with Vanessa Bauer for his stint on the ice – said: “This is the first week that my body’s starting to break down completely.
“We’re all in the changing rooms in the back with rollers, trying every cream under the sun to make our muscles work.”
Although he’s lost some weight, Wes thinks it has benefited him because he feels “stronger” thanks to the workouts he’s doing.
He added: “I’ve lost 10kg [of muscle], yeah. A lot. I feel like even though I’ve got smaller in size, I’ve got stronger. I suppose the technique as well, constantly lifting body weights.”
The ‘Love Island’ hunk isn’t the only one suffering ahead of Sunday’s final (10.03.19), with skating rival James, 40, recently revealing the extent of his own injuries.
The dancer was forced to take some time out after suffering a hernia and he’s also revealed that his shoulder injury and arthritis in his hips and knees have been causing him a lot of pain.
What’s more, he was binge eating pizzas to keep the weight on after he shed 15kgs from the intense training, and admitted it’s difficult not to lose weight skating all the time.
He said: “I lost 15 kilos, but that was from when the moment I knew I was going to do the show.
“Every night at the hotel I was having pepperoni and jalapeno pizzas and I’ve just kept burning it off. It’s hard to keep the weight on.”
Heading into the final, James is currently favourite to win the show with Betfair offering odds of 1/3, while Wes follows closely behind at 5/2. Saara is the outsider at 29/1 on Betfair’s exchange at the time of writing.

OHMYGOSSIP — John Barnes wants to go on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ because he fancies “a bit of a holiday”.
The retired England footballer – who appears with reigning King of the Jungle Harry Redknapp on new ITV show ‘Harry’s Heroes: The Full English’ – admitted he would be up for jetting to Australia to chow down on creepy crawlies, but thinks the show could be like a vacation.
Appearing on this Saturday’s (09.03.19) episode of ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, he says: “From the point of view of eating anything, I eat everything and anything, so from that point of view I would do it.
“Lying around doing nothing much, I quite fancy so I’d probably look at it as a bit of a holiday. I would do it, yeah.”
He could be in for a rude awakening, as Harry admitted he “nearly pulled out” of the programme just days before the last series kicked off, and Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock – who played for West Ham under his management in 1998 – had warned his former boss just how tough it was going to be.
Harry adds: “Razor said, ‘It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life … It was unbelievable.’ That scared me.
“I nearly pulled out about a week before but I went with it in the end. It was touch and go to be honest.”
And while Harry won the reality show in December, he insisted he had never watched “one second” of the programme before he went into the jungle.
He tells the talk show host: “Jonathan, I had never seen one second of the show, never ever, I swear … I just went in and I promise you, I honestly thought there would be food… Sure enough, there wasn’t.”
‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ airs on Saturday at 9.20pm on ITV.

OHMYGOSSIP — Samira Mighty is to have a lump removed following a terrifying cancer scare.
The 23-year-old reality TV star thought she was “going to die” when she discovered the compact mass three years ago, and she is now getting the lump taken off after it returned last year.
She told Metro.co.uk: “It was really dramatic, I immediately thought I had breast cancer. You Google, Wikipedia, and think you’re going to die.
“It did play on my mind, because you’d be drying off after the shower and feel this lump and think, something is not right. Or I’d be ill and in my head I’d connect it to the lump.”
Samira was encouraged to get the lump checked out by fellow ‘Love Island’ star Doctor Alex George, who she says is like her “personal GP” and says he has “enlightened” her about how important it is to look after herself.
She said: “He’s like my personal GP.
“Since meeting Doctor Alex I’ve been enlightened to many things, and since then I’ve discovered how important it is to look after yourself.
“You just don’t think, ‘Oh, I’m going to check my boobs,’ but it is so important. Just spend five minutes feeling them. And at any age!
“I was 19 when I first found the lump and I wouldn’t have thought about it otherwise.”
Earlier this year, the brunette beauty spoke openly about suffering from depression and said she experiences extreme changes in mood.
She said: “I want you to know that for me that people don’t know that I am diagnosed with depression. I knew I had it when I was younger.
“I went to the doctors and my highs are mad high and my lows are so low.
“One thing I wish I did when I was younger is to talk to people and tell them how you feel and I was in places I hated and I was so low and it’s because i didn’t speak.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Watson is being lined up for a role in the standalone ‘Black Widow’ film.
Marvel Studios is actively casting for the blockbuster which will focus on Scarlett Johansson as she reprises her role as SHIELD spy Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow.
According to website That Hashtag Show, 28-year-old Emma is wanted for an as-yet unknown role in the adventure about the first female Avenger.
Although few details about the movie have been released, the ‘Harry Potter’ actress’ potential part has been described as a “kick-ass female [James] Bond”, and Marvel is said to be seeking an actress able to cope with a physically demanding role who also “feels similar” to 34-year-old Scarlett.
Scarlett – who has starred as Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2010 when she made her debut in ‘Iron Man 2’ – is set to earn $15 million for the film and has reportedly been handed the same deal that was previously given to Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth for appearing in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, respectively.
Scarlett first appeared as the Black Widow in ‘Iron Man 2’, which also starred Robert Downey Jr and Gwyneth Paltrow.
The character has since gained significant popularity among fans and rumours about a standalone movie have been swirling for years.
Scarlett previously admitted she hopes the ‘Black Widow’ film will be a “groundbreaking” story in the MCU.
She explained: “The only way to do it would be if it were something that we’ve never seen before that was really groundbreaking and incredibly bad ass. I think if anyone could make that happen my boss Kevin Feige could. He’s a visionary.”
Scarlett explained that because of her character’s traumatic past, there’s plenty of scope to develop a compelling storyline.
She said: “I think it could be something really special.
“There’s a lot of room there. The character has a tortured past, she’s had to make a lot of difficult decisions. She has a lot of trauma. She’s got issues. There’s room to work them all out.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Blossoms want Mark Ronson to be their producer.
The Stockport rockers have a wealth of material ready for their follow-up to their second album, 2018’s ‘Cool Like You’, and would love to get the studio wizard – who recently worked with Miley Cyrus on the hit song ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’ and Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s Oscar-winning ‘A Star is Born’ soundtrack ‘Shallow’ – to work with them on their third outing.
Speaking on the blue carpet at the Global Awards at London’s Eventim Apollo on Thursday night (07.03.19), frontman Tom Ogden said: “Hopefully this year. We’ve written and demoed two album’s-worth of songs, so if we don’t get anything out, we’re lazy.
“It’s getting to Mark Ronson’s ear tonight. Why not? We need a producer!”
The ‘Charlemagne’ group’s keyboard player Myles Kellock said he was planning on knocking back a few drinks to build up the courage to speak to the ‘Uptown Funk’ hitmaker and share their new tunes with him, but joked that he’d probably tell him to “leave him alone”.
He laughed: “I reckon I’ll have a few beers and probably walk over.
“Get a phone out and go, LISTEN! He’ll probably say, Please leave us alone.”
Blossoms beat Arctic Monkeys, winning the Best Indie Award at the star-studded ceremony.
The ‘Honey Sweet’ band also performed at the bash, singing their breakthrough hit ‘Charlemagne’.
Mark was honoured with The Global Special Award and the Best Male prize, and he used his acceptance speech for the latter to thank some “incredible females”, Dua Lipa – who he produced ‘Electricity’ with alongside his Silk City partner Diplo – Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga, who won the Mass Appeal Award at the event.
He said: “I am a male and I would not be standing anywhere near this stage if it wasn’t for the incredible females: Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stefflon Don has announced a homecoming show in London.
The ’16 Shots’ rapper will play Hammersmith’s Eventim Apollo on April 19, with support from chart-topping drum and bass stars Rudimental and ‘Gun Lean’ hitmakers Russ Splash + LD.
Since emerging in 2015, after featuring on Wretch 32’s ‘Six Words’, the star has had a number of hits, including ‘Instruction’ with Demi Lovato and Jax Jones and ‘Hurtin’ Me’ with French Montana.
Her debut EP with the same title as the latter song reached number seven on the UK Singles Chart.
The singer was named Best Female at the 2017 MOBO Awards, and released her most recent EP ‘Secure’ to critical acclaim last year.
The London show announcement comes after Stefflon featured in the music video for Wiley’s song ‘Boasty’, which also sees Idris Elba and Sean Paul spit some lyrics.
It sees the stars in various locations in London competing over their rap verses, with Grime star Wiley is played by actor Brooklyn Appiah in the visual for the track.
Speaking previously about the promo, the director Henry Scholfield said: “I liked this idea of the artists all competing for lyrical screen-space with them crumpling, folding, or stomping on each other to bring us from one to the next.
“It had a kinda vibe of bigupmanship and a visual riff on who’s the boasty-iest… to say it was a shoot to remember would be a bit of an understatement. What a killer quartet of awesome artists.”
The collaboration was co-produced by British producer Toddla T and Rotterdam’s Mucky, and sees Golden Globe-winner Idris – who is also a DJ and is due to play Coachella festival this summer – show off his impressive rapping skills.
Tickets for Stefflon’s London show are on sale now and expected to be snapped up quickly.

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Colman is in discussions to join ‘Gypsy Boy’.
The 54-year-old actress – who was recently won the Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of Queen Anne in the period comedy ‘The Favourite’ – is wanted to portray chain-smoking shoplifter Aunt Minnie in the film adaptation of Mikey Walsh’s best-selling memoir, according to Baz Bamigboye’s column in the Daily Mail newspaper.
The autobiographical book and its sequel ‘Gypsy Boy: On The Run’ follows Mikey’s life in a Romany Gypsy community and his struggles with his violent and physically abusive bare knuckle boxer father who cannot come to terms with the fact his son is gay.
Mikey is eventually left with no choice but to leave his family and culture for his own happiness and wellbeing.
The film will be helmed by Morgan Matthews from a script by James Graham and is due to begin shooting in late autumn, however, it does have a scheduling conflicts with the fourth season of Olivia’s Netflix hit ‘The Crown’, in which she plays current British monarch Queen Elizabeth II.
Dominic West is set to play the pugilist father – replacing Benedict Cumberbatch who withdrew from the project – and Anne-Marie Duff has been in negotiations to portray Mikey’s mother.
Confirming that talks have started with Colman, ‘Gypsy Boy’ producer Kevin Loader said: “There definitely have been conversations and we’d be absolutely thrilled if Olivia was available to play Aunt Minnie.”
Mikey revealed in his books that he would accompany his aunt on her shoplifting trips and help as she stuffed her floor-length fur coat with goods.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Chastain wishes she had told a male filmmaker to “f*** off” after he flirted with her.
The 41-year-old actress has regularly voiced her support for the #MeToo and Time’s Up campaigns, which were launched for women to share their stories of sexual abuse and harassment in the wake of the revelations that were made public in 2017 about movie producer Harvey Weinstein’s conduct towards women throughout his Hollywood career.
Jessica has opened up about her own experience of inappropriate behaviour in the movie business and admitted she shouldn’t have just laughed off the incident involving an unknown former colleague.
Speaking to Marie Claire magazine for their ‘Change Makers’ issue, she said: “For months, I tried to make it light, laugh it off.
“Now I wish I had just told him to f*** off.”
Jessica suggested that the fact she was a people-pleaser made her brush over what happened.
She said: “I used to be so obsessed with wanting to accommodate others.
“Like, in the beginning of my career, when I had ideas about my character or a scene, I felt like I had to go through the male actors.
“I’d go to them and say, ‘Ooooh, what are we going to do?’
“And they’d say, ‘Don’t worry. I’ll take care of it.’
“They would go to the director and the director would take them seriously.”
The ‘It: Chapter Two’ star has had other women try to silence her from making public feminist statements.
She said: “I’ve had people tell me, ‘You need to be a little more quiet with all this woman talk.”
But nothing will stop her from sharing her views and experiences on inequality and discrimination against females, and she feels it’s time for people to start asking questions about why men are given all of the bigger opportunities over women.
She said: “I agree there are not as many women as men that have the same experience, but that’s because, in the past, women have been actively discriminated against.
“Male directors who had their first film in Sundance, their next offer is a huge action movie.
“Women haven’t been given those opportunities, and we need to ask why.”
Jessica says change is already happening thanks to the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements, which enabled women to have a voice and stand up to bullies.
She said: “The public has answered back in a resounding, hopeful way that change is possible and we’re not going to be dictated to by bullies.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Hughes has gushed about his “best friend” and lover Jesy Nelson.
The former ‘Love Island’ star and Little Mix singer recently confirmed their romance after being romantically linked since January, and now the 26-year-old hunk has admitted he’s found the “loveliest girl ever” in the ‘Woman Like Me’ hitmaker.
According to the Mirror Online, Chris said: “I’m really happy. It’s a really lovely relationship. She’s the loveliest girl ever. She’s my best friend, as well. We got on so well.”
The reality star recently appeared on ‘KISS Breakfast’ radio to confirm their relationship.
He spilled: “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. It’s official, she’s my girlfriend. I’m so happy, she’s the nicest girl I’ve ever met, this is no exaggeration, she’s got a heart like she was your mother or something. She’s so caring. We just get on like best mates, and that’s the beauty about it.”
And Chris’ best friend, Kem Cetinay, admitted he’s never seen his pal so smitten.
He said: “I’ve never seen him like this, and we’re very close. I know we’ve only known each other two years!”
However, the ‘Dancing On Ice’ digital host admitted he’s worried about what Chris’ new relationship will mean for his friendship with the 26-year-old star.
He quipped: “I’m a little bit worried… What happens to me now? He’s got a new love of his life, what happens to the old love? I’ve been pushed to the side!”
While Chris is smitten with the ‘Black Magic’ singer it appears he still has a lot to learn about his new girlfriend as, when quizzed on her birthday, he said it was June 15, 1991 – one day late.
Jesy and Chris’ romance was first revealed in January when they were seen smooching in a kebab shop in the Elephant & Castle area, following a date at ‘Harry Potter’-themed magical bar The Cauldron in London.
After having drinks, the pair decided to get some food from the nearby eatery, but they couldn’t resist having a kiss and they even playfully poked their tongues out at one point to have a naughty lick of each other’s tongues.
An onlooker said: “They couldn’t keep their mitts off one another. They kept pausing mid-sentence to snog, and were really affectionate. It may be early days but there’s definitely a real spark.”
They were then reported to have briefly split, but later reconciled and made their relationship Instagram official with a loved-up post last week.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ricky Gervais already has ideas for a second series of ‘After Life’ but gave the new show an ending just in case fans don’t love it.
The sitcom, which is released on Netflix today (08.03.19), sees him play Tony, a suicidal man who responds to the loss of his wife of 25 years by opting to punish the world by saying and doing whatever he wants with no inhibitions.
Asked if he would like to make a second series, Ricky told the Series Linked podcast: “I’d love to. Just in case, I always do my first series of anything that it could be a standalone thing.
“But I’ve really fallen in love with the characters and I think it’d be a waste not to do a second series now.
“And the second series could be the best, because you can hit the ground running. You’ve done all the set up.
“You know that people you know the characters now, so you can delve deeper into things without having to do the admin of explaining stuff. So the second series can be the most joyful to write and watch.”
Quizzed on whether he had some possible storylines for a second run, he added: “There are ideas, yeah, there are. You can’t help those, but you’ve got to curb them in case.
“If no-one likes it and Netflix say, ‘We’ve wasted millions on you, Rick,’ but, secretly, yeah, I would love to do a second series.”
The 57-year-old star looks set to have plenty of time to pen a second series if Netflix approve, because he doubts he will ever retire.
He added: “I probably won’t retire in that sense [stop work completely], but I might be settled more in one place.”
But the animal lover – who worked with a dog in numerous ‘After Life’ scenes – wants to live in a house with big grounds that welcomes all sorts of stray creatures great and small.
He said: “My idea would be to live in a big house with big grounds and have every stray dog and everything’s welcome, disabled wallabies, blind hedgehogs, do you know what I mean? Flightless crows, welcome.
“I look like Noah. I think Noah was 900 when he built the ark, so, yeah. And me at 60 will probably resemble him.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Keith Urban calls his wife Nicole Kidman a “maniac in the bed” on his song ‘Gemini’.
The country music star – who has daughters Faith, eight, and 10-year-old Sunday with the ‘Big Little Lies’ star – has confessed that his track, which features the lyric, “She’s a maniac in the bed, But a brainiac in her head”, is about his spouse.
Speaking to The I newspaper about the song on his recent LP ‘Graffiti’, he spilled: “The song is actually about Nicole – and she loves it.”
Nicole is a Gemini, and the 51-year-old musician explained that it was his response to his co-writer Julia Michaels asking him to “describe” the Australian actress – who also has children Isabella, 26, and Connor, 24, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
The full verse is: “She’s a maniac in the bed/But a brainiac in her head/And I know that everybody knows/Ooh, that she’s both.”
He added: “It’s a fun song. My co-writer Julia Michaels asked me to describe Nicole and that’s what came out. ‘She is Gemini, but she’s not a contradiction. She can roll with things.'”
In 2009, Nicole admitted in an interview with GQ Magazine the she loved experimenting with “strange sexual fetish stuff”.
The ‘Lion’ actress – who divorced Tom Cruise in 2001 following a 10-year union – confessed that she has enjoyed exploring with the different aspects of love, sex and relationships over the years.
She explained: “My life has been about exploring types of love. I’ve explored obsession, I’ve explored strange sexual fetish stuff, I’ve explored the mundane aspect of marriage and monogamy. But I’m still on that journey.”
Meanwhile, Nicole recently admitted her biggest priority in life is to keep her marriage strong.

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Bunton has shot down rumours she’s preparing to get married to fiancé Jade Jones.
The Spice Girl and her partner – who are parents to sons Beau, 11, and seven-year-old Tate – were supposedly set to tie the knot at London’s Old Marylebone Town Hall after 20 years together this year, but the ‘Baby Please Don’t Stop’ singer has debunked the claims and insisted there are no plans for the pair to walk down the aisle anytime soon.
Speaking on the blue carpet at the Global Awards at London’s Eventim Apollo on Thursday night (07.03.19), Emma was asked about the wedding speculation, and replied: “Apparently, but no!
“Jade and I have been together for so long, we’ve got children, it’s just one of those things.
“It gets speculated on at least twice a year but no! No plans!”
The Sunday Mirror newspaper had claimed that the 43-year-old star was seen heading into Enfield Register Office in north London, where she and the 40-year-old singer-turned-chef gave notice of intent to marry, meaning they would have 12 months to make things formal.
The couple got engaged in January 2011 and in 2017, the ‘Stop’ hitmaker admitted it would be “nice” to get married but she and Jade had never been organised enough to plan their big day.
She said: “It would be nice, wouldn’t it? I should get round to it. He already calls me his wife and I call him my husband.
“We’re both Aquarians and a little disorganised, so we never get round to organise anything!
“I’m sure we’ll be one of those couples that elope somewhere.”
And the blonde star doesn’t even know what kind of wedding dress she’d like to walk down the aisle in.
She shared: “I haven’t even got a picture in my head of a wedding dress. You know some girls know what they want but I haven’t a clue. I think other people’s weddings are fun – It’s always nice to dress up.”
Although wedding bells aren’t calling just yet, the couple could be planning another baby as the ‘2 Become 1’ singer recently admitted it would be “wonderful” to add to their brood.
She said: “Never say never. I’ve always been very maternal and I love being around children.
“I think if I’m lucky enough that would be something wonderful.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ray Quinn thinks Hollyoaks’ far-right storyline is “important” to tell so viewers see “how extreme” such people can be.
The 30-year-old actor recently joined the Channel 4 soap as extremist Jonny Baxter who will indoctrinate Kieron Richardson’s character Ste Hay into his group in upcoming scenes, and the former ‘Brookside’ star hopes the plot will make viewers more “aware and knowledgeable” about the subject.
He said: “It’s important because it’s getting it out there on the television every day, and I think it’s better to have it out there so viewers can see how extreme it can go.
“The core issue is going on every single day, and in some cases, to people we know and love. When it’s on the forefront of people’s minds every day at half past six on Channel 4, it makes people more aware and knowledgeable on the subject, so people can be wary of it.”
Through researching the plot with real-life examples, Ray has learned that his character Jonny and his pal Stuart Summer’s (Chris Simmons) group recruit Ste because they want the movement to “expand” and become heard.
He added: “Jonny and Stuart have targeted Ste because, from what I have learned from the research chats we have had, the movement is looking to recruit a variety within the group to broaden the horizon of where it first began.
“They bring in a gay man in order for the group to grow and expand and make
their movement heard. Ste is vulnerable, because he’s gone through a lot. He’s scared because he’s been hurt. He’s right at the bottom of the barrel before Jonny arrived.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Alex Beresford often gets mistaken for an ‘EastEnders’ serial killer.
The ‘Good Morning Britain’ weatherman says people sometimes think he is murdering priest Lucas Johnson, who was played by Don Gilet, and he once met the 52-year-old actor who revealed people mistake him for 38-year-old Alex, too.
He said: “I’ve actually been mistaken for Don Gilet who played Lucas Johnson, the murdering priest in ‘EastEnders’.
“One day we actually met. He came up to me and said, ‘Oh my gosh I get mistaken for you all the time,’ and I said, ‘Same for me’.
“We had a little chat about it.”
Alex recalled the first time he was recognised happened on a train when two girls thought there were getting a picture with Don.
Speaking on ‘GMB’, he added: “I was on the train coming from Bristol to London.
“These two girls came up to me and said, ‘Can we get a picture?’. Took the picture, they walked off and said, ‘Can’t believe we met that guy from ‘EastEnders’.’ ”
Alex admitted he would much rather be likened to former French footballer Thierry Henry.
Lucas was a nasty piece of working during his time in Albert Square, killing five including his ex-wife Trina Johnson (Sharon Duncan-Brewster) and his wife Denise Fox’s (Diane Parish) ex-husband Owen Turner (Lee Ross).
He also bumped off dog Sugar, the only witness to where Lucas buried Owen’s corpse under a tree.
As a result of seeing this act, the inquisitive canine kept sniffing around the tree so Lucas is thought to have drowned the poor pooch off-screen.
