OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona’s mother Sue broke down in tears as she admitted to giving her daughter speed when she was just 14.
The Atomic Kitten star’s parent appeared on national television on UK TV early morning show ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Tuesday morning (04.09.18) where she admitted that it was “unforgivable” of her to give Kerry, now 37, the Amphetamine as a teenager without telling her what it was, when Sue herself was abusing substances.
She told presenters Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid: “It’s not a nice thing that I done.
“It was embarrassing, dangerous, unforgivable. I was off me head when I done it.
“I worked in a pub, she was me mate not me daughter. It was totally, totally wrong.”
Whilst Kerry went on to battle with drug and alcohol addiction throughout her life, the ‘Whole Again’ hitmaker doesn’t blame her mother, and believes she would still have taken them anyway as she thought it was the norm.
She said: “If mum my hadn’t given it to me, I would have done it anyway.
“I thought people who didn’t do drugs were snobs. That’s how it was for me.”
Kerry – who has 17-year-old Molly and 15-year-old Lilly-Sue with first husband Brian McFadden and 11-year-old Heidi and Maxwell, 10, with second spouse Mark Croft – said of her first time taking speed: “I talk a lot anyway as it is. I was living with my foster parents at the time. I remember not being able to go to sleep.
“But everyone we were in the pub with were having a wonderful time. It became my normality.”
Kerry – who is estranged from third husband George Kay – first found fame as a member of the chart-topping girl group in the late 90s, but subsequently ran into money troubles as her life spiralled out of control.
The pop star – who suffers from bipolar disorder – previously admitted to surrounding herself with the wrong people during her career, although she’s not “ashamed” of her personal struggles.
She said: “I lost my money. I don’t have money now. I got out of bankruptcy again in September but I feel good. I feel amazing.
“It was embarrassing as well. You could see that people around me who I was hanging out with at the time, all the hangers on just wanted me for my money and all the fame. The people I was buying drugs with you could see their delight they just wanted to bring me down. But I’m not ashamed.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Cher has never planned “a single thing” in her entire life.
The 72-year-old icon recently starred in ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’ and is set to release ‘Dancing Queen’ – an album that features songs recorded by the Swedish pop group ABBA – later this month, but Cher has insisted it’s not something she’s carefully mapped out.
She said: “I don’t account for things that way. I just do them. I’ve never planned a single thing in my entire life. It’s like this ABBA album. I did the film. I didn’t ask to do it. My friend Ronnie Meyer called and said, ‘You’re doing ‘Mamma Mia’, and hung up.”
Asked why she didn’t refuse, Cher told the New York Times newspaper: “Ronnie used to be my agent. He ran Universal, and he’s my dear friend. So when he hung up, I thought, ‘Damn!’ Then I thought, ‘Well, it’s going to take five minutes, and no one will even know I’m there.'”
Despite the movie being one of the biggest releases of 2018, Cher still hasn’t seen the final cut.
She shared: “I haven’t seen it. But can I tell you, I don’t remember doing anything memorable, except singing ‘Fernando’.
“Afterward, when Jen [her assistant] and I were packing to go home, I said, ‘You know what might be fun?’ This is how I get myself into all kinds of trouble. ‘It might be fun to do an ABBA album.’
“The songs are easy to sing, but they’re complicated, too. Some of them are hard as hell, which is why I was in the studio again tonight.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Toni Collette thinks she’s “too old” to star in a ‘Muriel’s Wedding’ sequel.
The 45-year-old actress starred as Muriel Heslop in the 1994 comedy-drama movie and while Toni has hinted she’d be open to appearing in a sequel, she doubts she’d be able to reprise the same role.
Asked whether there would be a ‘Muriel’s Wedding’ sequel, she explained to ITV’s ‘Lorraine’: “I can’t imagine what that would be?
“They made a musical about it which is about to tour Australia. I was a little dubious and a little concerned about it – it blew my mind. It was so good. I really hope it comes to the West End. It’s absolutely brilliant.
“It could be a film version of the musical. I’m too old [to reprise my role]. I could maybe play the mum.”
Meanwhile, Toni previously claimed it feels like “many more roles are opening up for women”.
The Australian star revealed she’s been delighted to witness the way the Time’s Up movement has changed the industry for the better.
She explained: “I’m now a middle-aged woman and … it feels like many more roles are opening up for women. That’s my personal experience.
“It’s not just this industry, it’s society at large. There’s been this ridiculous sense of inequality. Anyway, it’s about time. It’s such a necessary change and it really is occurring. You can feel it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj is down for having sex “three times a night”.
The 35-year-old rapper has addressed the lyrics in her song ‘Barbie Tingz’ where she claimed she likes to make love more than once on the same evening, whilst also revealing she is a fan of foreplay, but not hugging the person afterwards as it’s a big turn off for her.
Appearing on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, Nicki spilled on getting intimate: “If you have someone that you don’t see on a regular basis … if you see them once or twice a week, then yeah, three times a night!
“When I see you, three times a night! And if you can’t hang, goodbye. I’m not wasting my time.”
On foreplay, she added: “No more than a half an hour between each thing.
“I hate cuddling after. Once I get mine, if I feel really really great, then leave me alone!”
The ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker – who broke up with fellow rapper Nas earlier this year – is in a new relationship, but she isn’t putting any pressure on the romance as she has enjoyed being single.
She said when asked if she is seeing anyone: “[It’s] Fairly new. He’s been around for a couple weeks now. I’m just chilling.
“I’ve always been in a relationship my whole life.
“I was in a relationship since I was 15 years old.
“This is the first time that I’m single and I’m happier.

OHMYGOSSIP — Terry Gilliam’s ‘The Man Who Killed Don Quixote’ is to open in Italy and Germany on September 27.
The long-awaited drama movie – which stars the likes of Adam Driver, Olga Kurylenko and Stellan Skarsgard – had its initial release at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year and is now set to open in two of Europe’s biggest markets later this month.
Terry announced the news on Twitter, writing part of his post in Italian: “Buon giorno, Italia.. finalmente!! L’UOMO CHE UCCISE DON CHISCOTTE si apre 27 settembre! For non Italian speakers, I think you can work out what that says. And like Rome, the film wasn’t built in a day! (sic)”
Terry – who is a former member of the Monty Python comedy troupe – has been working on the movie for almost 20 years, but he has faced a number of logistical and legal battles to bring it to cinema screens.
The issues have, in fact, already been detailed in documentary called ‘Lost in La Mancha’.
However, in 2017, Terry made the shock announcement that he’d finally finished the project with a new cast – but a producer then sued him over the rights to the movie.
A French court subsequently dismissed that claim and ‘The Man Who Killed Don Quixote’ finally made its debut at the annual film festival in Cannes.

OHMYGOSSIP — Danny Boyle has hinted at why he walked away from directing the upcoming James Bond movie.
The acclaimed filmmaker was originally drafted in to helm Daniel Craig’s last outing as the iconic character, but Danny left the project in abrupt fashion due to creative differences with the people behind the franchise.
However, in an interview given to the Radio Times before the announcement was made, Danny said that his Bond aficionado status would hamper his ability as the director.
He said: “The books were everything to me when I was a kid. I read them multiple times. Like everyone else, I saw the films, but I’d already read the books so I had a different relationship with the characters.
“Although I think it’d be impossible for a Bond aficionado to write or direct a Bond film. You’d be hampered by how much you knew. They want you to bring a freshness to it.”
Meanwhile, an insider previously claimed that Danny’s decision to walk away from the movie centred on plans to kill off Bond.
The source said: “There were discussions about killing off Bond in dramatic fashion at the end. It would also leave it open for a twist in the next instalment – either Bond hadn’t died or there could be a ‘Doctor Who’-esque regeneration with a new actor.
“There were clashes over budget and there’s pandemonium among crew with people leaving the production left, right and centre.”
The decision to quit the project was announced on the movie’s official Twitter page.
The post read: “Michael G Wilson, Barbara Broccoli [producers] and Daniel Craig today announced that due to creative differences Danny Boyle has decided to no longer direct Bond 25 (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bindi Irwin has paid a heartfelt tribute to her late father Steve Irwin on the 12th anniversary of his death.
The 20-year-old daughter of the ‘Crocodile Hunter’ star – who was killed by a stingray whilst filming one of his documentaries on the Great Barrier Reef, near Queensland, Australia, in 2006 – shared a childhood photo of her with her father, mother Terri, 54, and brother Robert, 14, on Instagram on Tuesday (04.09.18) in the ‘Happy Feet’ star’s memory.
Bindi – who was just eight when her dad passed away, aged just 44 – simply captioned the photo: “Together Forever (sic)”
Earlier this year, the legendary conservationist was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Steve’s eldest child was delighted after hearing the news.
At the time of the announcement, she shared a throwback photo of herself and her dad giving a thumbs up sign.
She captioned the image: “I am beyond excited to share with you all that we have just received the news that Dad will be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“Dad changed the world by reaching out to people through their television screens to bring them on the adventure of a lifetime. To have his name on a Hollywood Star means the world as we carry on his important work (sic).”
And speaking at the ceremony, Bindi revealed the family have done al they can to carry on Steve’s legacy in the natural world.
She said: “We try to continue dad’s legacy each and every day and we want to make sure everything he lived and died for continues on into the future.
“I have to tell you that I never in my wildest dreams imagined that this would become a reality and this is such an honour as a family.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rebecca Ferguson has been told she’s “only good for entertaining” because of the colour of her skin.
The 32-year-old star – who has forged an impressive career as a singer after her appearance on ‘The X Factor’ in 2010 – has opened up on shadeism, which is the discrimination against black women according to the darkness of their skin, and how it has impacted on her life and career.
Discussing the issue between people of colour on ITV show ‘Loose Women’, she said: “I’ve had people say to me that I’m only good for entertaining, and that I will never have money or wealth, and that I’m just there for, like, a monkey in a cage. I’ve had that.
Rebecca’s father is of Jamaican descent and her mother is white British and the musician revealed that when she was growing up she would come across skin lightening products in some of family’s homes it makes her question her own approach to beauty because she does things like alter her hair to give herself a different appearance.
She explained: “I’ve got an afro naturally, so it’s hard. I find it hard to judge people for lightening their skin and things, for instance, when I myself have afro hair and now it’s a blonde weave.
“I feel like generally as people we’re never happy with who we are completely, and aesthetically we’re always trying to be and do something that we’re not.”
Rebecca insisted the only way that things could change would be through better representation of black women in the media.
She said: “I think there is a deep rooted issue … I think there’s a huge responsibility for the media, me, us, to represent mixed race and black people as much as we can.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lord Sugar felt he was unfairly portrayed by the BBC during the early years of ‘The Apprentice’.
The businessman was new to the world of reality TV when the long-running show first in the UK launched back in 2005, and he revealed the editing process created a very different impression of him by not showing the more lighthearted moments.
Appearing on ITV’s ‘Loose Women’ on Tuesday (04.09.18), he said: “The BBC when they first got hold of me, they put me on this programme. I didn’t know much about editing and all of that type of thing.
“The boardroom sessions last about three hours, and during that three hour period they edit it down to 20 minutes. There’s a lot of banter, there’s a lot of fun, a lot of laughter, we do have fun in there.”
He admitted he was made out to be “a bit of an ogre” during the early series of the show, and it was sometimes difficult for her family to see him presented in such a way.
He explained: “The BBC squeezes it down, and for the first couple of series they made me out to be a bit of an ogre, so to speak. The biggest complainer was my wife, who said to me ‘this is unreasonable, unfair. You’re not like that.’ ”
While Lord Sugar claimed he didn’t think it was a big issue, he did speak to producers about making sure some of the relaxed exchanges are still shown on air.
He added: “I had words with them, and now we’re allowed to have a bit of joking around that is actually broadcast. It didn’t bother me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rose McGowan insists the #MeToo movement is an ongoing conversation and hopes it will continue on a path which will stop all types of people from becoming victims of sexual abuse in the future.
The actress-turned-activist accused disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein of raping her at the Sundance Film Festival in 1997 and since going public with her claim she has been one of the most prominent campaigners for both the #MeToo and Time’s Up movements.
Rose thinks that the two campaigns will continue to evolve and she hopes that ultimately they will bring an end to assaults.
Appearing on Channel 5 TV show ‘Jeremy Vine’, she said: “Listen, #MeToo is a conversation, it’s about all of us growing up and having an adult conversation that needed to be had a long time ago. Because people are dying, people get killed and die of rape everyday and it starts with sexual harassment and it works its way up and it’s insidious. If so many of us are walking round society with this damage then you gotta clean up society don’t you.”
Rose, 44, also wants her story to help rewrite a societal narrative surrounding gender, and hopes that in the future young men won’t be affected by toxic masculinity tropes which impair their emotions and feelings and stop them from becoming emotional humans.
She continued: “What I do fight for everybody to realise that everybody gets hurt in some way or another.
“Almost everybody, very few of us escape unscathed and we need to have a serious conversation because kids take it on as their shame; victims take it on as their shame.
“As survivors you come to know that really it’s not your scarlet letter and you can give it back and the more we start taking it back, and the more we start talking about boys being stolen and boys being hurt.
“And then getting trapped in this idea that they’re not able to express emotion or have anything except for – I’m stereotyping here, but other than playing sports or something like that.
“Now these kids are trapped in these experiences and trapped in the idea of what you’re supposed to be as a man – and what does that make you do, that makes you rage and there’s this vicious cycle that goes on and on and that’s really what I wanted to press the reset button on.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez reached out privately to Demi Lovato to offer her friend her support after her suspected heroin overdose in July.
The ‘Come & Get It’ hitmaker wanted to avoid doing a “public thing” to show her love for Demi, 26, in the wake of her relapse and subsequent admission to rehab for addiction treatment but has confirmed she has spoken to her close pal.
Speaking as the cover star of September’s edition of ELLE US magazine, she said: “All I’m saying is, I reached out personally.
“I didn’t do a public thing. I didn’t want to … I love her. I’ve known her since I was seven. So … it’s … that’s what I’ll say.”
Selena recently celebrated her birthday and now she is in the second half of her 20s she believes she has gained a sense of clarity and the ability to better control her emotions.
She said: “It’s peaceful. It’s weird. The moment I turned 26, I felt 26. Right now, I feel very sure of where I am. I don’t feel erratic or emotionally unstable or like I can’t handle my emotions, like I used to.
“It’s kind of understanding myself a little more. By all means I don’t have myself figured out. But it feels good.”
As a modern pop star, the ‘Wolves’ singer has a massive presence on social media with 56.4 million followers on Twitter and 142 million fans on Instagram but she avoids spending hours on the internet because she wants to live in the real world.
She shared: “I’m not on the internet; I haven’t been on the internet in months. I don’t have my password for Instagram. I have no apps on my phone, no photo editing apps. I have Peak, a brain game. The reason why is, it’s not real to me, I know my voice is very prominent, but I’m not careless with it. I’m selective.
“As far as my personal life, someone sees me having a glass of wine? I could give two s***s. I’m not trying to hide. That’s my life. I’m living it the way I want to live it. But it’s about making a conscious effort – if I can have a moment to be with my friends, I’ll take that time. So I don’t have any of it. I had to make that decision.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lena Dunham has joked the worst part of having a hysterectomy is not being able to use her period as an “excuse not to do stuff”.
The 32-year-old writer-and-actress has had her uterus surgically removed due to severe endometriosis – a condition which causes the tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus to grow outside of it – but Lena has been happy to make light of her situation on Twitter.
The ‘Girls’ creator quipped: “The worst part of a hysterectomy is not being able to use your period as an excuse not to do stuff. (sic)”
Lena previously revealed she is planning to return to full health before starting a family.
The American star – who split from musician Jack Antonoff in 2017 – confirmed she’s determined to regain her health before having a baby via a surrogate.
Asked how she’s been feeling since her hysterectomy – which leads to infertility in the patient – Lena explained: “I completely have ups and downs. I’m so lucky to have work that I love and an incredible community and friends and family.
“But yes, of course I do, because just that change in your body, that change in your hormones, that change in the ecosystem in your body is going to rock you and change you in ways you couldn’t have imagined. I think it takes some time to stabilise.”
Lena insisted she is willing to be patient before she starts a family.
She said: “I’m taking some time to get healthy.
“Some women don’t have the ability to take that time. It would be harvesting eggs and putting them into a donor – that would be the situation if I were going to do it and figure out who the donor is going to be and a surrogate carrying the baby.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Cher has “never been a huge Cher fan”.
The 72-year-old icon is one of the music industry’s best-known talents, but she has never particularly enjoyed listening to her own voice.
Asked to recall when she started to feel confident as a singer, she confessed: “I never feel confident. Off and on, I’ve felt good about my singing. But I’ve never been a huge Cher fan. I like doing it more than hearing it. So except for a couple of albums…”
The American star is set to release a new album later this month called ‘Dancing Queen’, which will feature versions of songs recorded by the Swedish pop group ABBA and is inspired by her appearance in musical movie ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’.
However, ahead of its release, Cher admitted that most of her previous albums have been “no good”.
Asked to name her favourite Cher album, she told The New York Times newspaper: “It’s probably between ‘Believe’ and a highly underrated album called ‘Closer to the Truth’. There’s not a bad cut on either one of them. I’ve made millions of albums, and most of them are absolutely no good. But some of them aren’t bad.”
By contrast, Cher finds acting to be a straightforward challenge.
The chart-topping star explained how working in a film studio was easier than performing on a stage.
After it was suggested that acting is hard work, she said: “It didn’t feel that way to me. Also, I didn’t have to look at an audience. My whole life, I had to look out at the audience and go: ‘How am I doing? Do you like this?’
“But when you act, you only have to look at the other actors. You just have to trust them and find a way to become this other thing.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Liz McDonald wants to “hit” her “dead” daughter when she finds out she is alive.
Beverley Callard, who plays the cobbles matriarch, has revealed her alter-ego will be left shocked when her husband Jim McDonald (Charlie Lawson) returns to Weatherfield, and even more surprised when he reveals their daughter Katie, who was thought to have passed away after she was born prematurely in 1992, is in fact alive.
She said: “When he breaks the news that Katie is alive she just thinks it is ridiculous and she can’t accept it. She thinks he is deluded and that maybe he is being conned into believing something that is not true.
“Later on at the lunch they sit and talk and he points out a girl in the bistro on another table and she walks over and says, ‘Hello, mum.’
“Liz just wants to hit her, she thinks it is ridiculous, she goes back to her base instincts of being a lioness protecting her family and herself and almost fishwife status she goes down into the gutter emotionally as well.
“She is very angry at the whole situation and very confused.”
Liz’s son Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) also dismisses that Katie – who is now known as Hannah – is his sister, but starts to come round to the idea “in typical Steve fashion” when there is talk of suing the hospital.
Beverley added: “Jim breaks the news to Steve but Steve does not believe it at all, even if Steve did want to believe it he has got Tracy in his ear and of course Tracy has got the bit between her teeth.
“They have got a massive case against the hospital, Liz doesn’t care about the financial rewards in connection with this.
“Liz is thinking my goodness not only have you had this tragedy of losing a baby you now start to think of what you have missed out on and no one can give you those years back.
“But Steve does start to take notice when money is involved and starts to be more on board in typical Steve fashion.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Isobel Steele thinks ‘Emmerdale’ fans will be “very pleased” with how Aaron Livesy and Robert Sugden’s wedding unfolds.
The 17-year-old soap star revealed the cast have been hard at work filming the highly-anticipated scenes for the couple’s big day, and she has built up more excitement for Aaron (Danny Miller) and Robert’s (Ryan Hawley) romantic moment.
Isobel – who plays the former’s half-sister Liv Falherty – told Inside Soap magazine: “We’ve recently been filming Aaron and Robert’s wedding, and I think the fans are going to be very pleased with the result.
“There are a few little details in the episode that I think they will really enjoy, with some cute moments that they will pick up on and get into. The big day has been so long-awaited, so I am sure that it isn’t going to disappoint.”
Meanwhile, the teenage actress admitted she was nervous when she was told she would be taking on an alcoholism story with her own character.
She said it’s “really difficult” to pretend to be drunk, and added that there was a steep learning curve for Liv’s latest development.
Isobel explained: “It was quite daunting. I’ve had big storylines with Danny and played a part in other people’s stories, but this was the first time the bosses said to me, ‘This is your plot.’
“I didn’t have any acting lessons prior to ‘Emmerdale’, so it was like, ‘God – this is something I need to learn about and know how to act.’ Playing drunk is really difficult.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Atkins thinks Charity Dingle’s upcoming appearance in court will be her “most terrifying” experience.
The emotional ‘Emmerdale’ scenes will see her character testifying in court against her abuser DI Mark Bails (Rocky Marshall), and she has admitted it will be an “unpleasant” moment.
She told RadioTimes.com: “It’s the most terrifying thing she’s had to go through. Charity has to rake up this ordeal in front of strangers and she knows it’s going to feel unpleasant.
“It’s everything you don’t want to say out loud – all the nitty gritty about her dark past. She knows what she’s got to do, but deep down there’s a lot fear, anticipation and worry.”
Bails has already warned Charity that a jury will dismiss her story as he continues to try and unnerve her ahead of the trial.
Her confidence is knocked, while she is also concerned that her past as a prostitute will “not give her a fighting chance”.
Things only get worse, as viewers will soon see Bails give a twisted version of events, and his wife Chloe (Joanna Miller) will stand by his side by lying to the prosecution.
The verdict jury’s isn’t known yet, but Emma has revealed how Charity will struggle to “come to terms” with the ordeal, and may put on a brave face in an attempt to move on.
She added: “Regardless of the verdict, Charity can’t come to terms with what’s happened to her. Her past being exposed starts to eat away at her. Vanessa wants her to see a counsellor, but she pushes that idea well away.
“I’ve a feeling she’s going to bury it right back down into the basement of her psyche and continue to be the hard-faced Charity. She even burns a newspaper report of the verdict, so she’s dealing with things in her own style and continuing to be the hard-faced Charity. And I think fans like that sharp side to her personality.”
