OHMYGOSSIP — Shayne Ward dreams of working with Anna Friel.
The 33-year-old former ‘Coronation Street’ star – who played Aidan Connor on the show for three years until his emotional departure from the soap in May earlier this year – has praised the “gifted and superb” actress and admitted he’d love to star opposite the 44-year-old actress in a new project.
He tweeted: “I’ve Been thinking a lot recently about who I would love to work with if ever given the opportunity… Answer: @annafriel YOU ARE A GIFTED AND SUPERB ACTRESS. #Onecandream (sic).”
And the former ‘X Factor’ winner’s suggestion proved to be a hit with his fans.
In response to the tweet, one fan wrote: “Amazing. What a choice!”
Another fan wrote: “Oh yes she is amazing one of my favourites.”
Shayne can next be seen opposite fiancee Sophie Austin in horror movie ‘Stairs’ and recently revealed he’d been on a diet to play a soldier in the movie.
He said:”I’ve definitely had to correct my diet for the part, so that involves curbing my sweet tooth a bit.”
Shayne is said to be putting the hours in at the gym to “buff up” for the physical role.
A source said recently: “Shayne is really excited about the project and wants to do his fans justice with it.
“It’s an independent film and he hopes it will show off his acting skills in his first feature film. His preparation has involved a lot of time in the gym as he needs to buff up for the part.”
Shayne previously blamed the ‘Corrie’ canteen’s Fish and Chips Friday deal for boosting his size by three stone since he first stepped foot on the cobbles in August 2015.
He said: “I will miss it when I leave but it’s not done favours for the dad bod. The canteen has a really great menu but then it also has really naughty food.
“Put it this way – it’s your choice, but then if you eat from the naughty menu you’ve got to make sure you don’t put weight on, which is what happened to me really.
“Fish and chips Friday is on every single week and they have lots of sweet food like hot chocolate fudge brownie or rhubarb and apple crumble.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West’s protigee thinks the rapper is “misunderstood”.
The ‘Famous’ rapper has come under fire for his support of US President Donald Trump and his controversial remarks that “slavery was a choice” in recent months but 21-year-old Desiigner insists his pal is a “cool guy” who is very “focused.
He told Australia’s Daily Telegraph newspaper: “Kanye is one of my mentors… He is really focused on what he wants to do, he has a lot of missions that he needs to accomplish. His operation is big.”
He went on to praise the 41-year-old star – as a “cool guy” who is just “misunderstood” and admitted he’d been inspired by “some tips” Kanye gave him.
Meanwhile, Kanye – who has children North, five, Saint, two, and eight-month-old Chicago with wife Kim Kardashian West – recently admitted he’s still thinking of running for president in the near future.
He said: “If I decide to do it, it will be done, I’m not going to try.
“Yes, 100 per cent it could happen… 2024.”
And the ‘All Day’ hitmaker also knows what his policies would target if he was voted into office.
He said: “One of my main things once I’m president is the medical industry. I’m going to make sure that the medical industry flourishes.
“There’s one thing I learned by hanging around with Jay-Z, and being married to my wife, is you can’t f**k up the paper (money). That’s the problem with a lot of the radical leaders in the past.”
Kanye – who first announced he would run for the US presidency in 2020 during a speech at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards – explained he wouldn’t run as a member of the Republican or Democratic parties, but would want to lead his own Birthday Party.

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Young hopes his upcoming live tour will help him get over the death of his wife.
The 62-year-old singer was left heartbroken when his spouse Stacey passed away in January at the age of 52 following a two-year battle with brain cancer.
Paul has only performed sporadically since her passing but he is heading out on the road this month for his ’35 Years of No Parlez’ tour and he will perform a series of concerts in his native UK, America and Australia and he is hopeful that it will help fill the void in his life since Stacey was taken from him.
He told the Daily Express newspaper: “Some people say you’re just putting it off but you’re easing into it. You can go away again and next time you come home it still feels quite empty but not as much as the last time.”
Paul has vowed to sing ‘Come Back and Stay’ at the gigs, a track which has significant meaning for the couple as it was on the video shoot for that single in 1983 where he and Stacey met before tying the knot four years later in Los Angeles.
The ‘Wherever I Lay My Hat (That’s My Home)’ hitmaker admits the track does evoke a lot of emotions when he sings the lyrics but he wants to perform the song in honour of Stacey – with whom he has three grown-up children, daughters Levi, 31, and Layla, 24, and 22-year-old son Grady.
He said: “The first few times I did it after she’d gone obviously it was on my mind.”
Since Stacey’s death, Paul has lost 14 lbs after going on a health kick to get in better physical and mental shape which has included him ditching sugar and even making his own tomato ketchup.
He previously said: “I’m much more aware of my own health since Stacey got sick. It made me take my own health more seriously. I have lost a stone (14 lbs) in weight in six months … I cut out things like Coca-Cola and tomato ketchup, known to have lots of sugar, and I would make my own sauce with fresh tomatoes.”
“Her death made me want to make something of my life and do something for the children.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Benson feels “very happy” whenever she walks into her home.
The former ‘Pretty Little Liars’ actress moved from Los Angeles to New York City when the ABC drama show ended in 2016, and after being given the chance to completely redecorate, she says her home now makes her feel good whenever she walks in.
Ashley said: “Any time I walked in, I felt very happy. I’m not really girly, so I think I kind of threw that into the apartment a bit.”
The 28-year-old actress took “risks” with her Manhattan apartment, but says they paid off because the decorating project was “fun” to do.
She added: “I kind of came empty handed. I obviously couldn’t bring furniture from my [LA] house to New York – it would have been too crazy.
“I just made bolder decisions and took more risks. I’ve never really done that in any of my other houses, so that’s definitely a new thing for me. It was my first New York apartment and it was a really fun project.”
The apartment has a different colour scheme in each room, such as a deep forest green in her powder room, and soft pink walls with navy blue velvet chairs in her dining room, which she admits she only uses when she has friends over.

She said: “I’m not the best cook. I usually have my friends come over and cook for me.”
Ashley still has a home in Los Angeles – which she bought in January for a cool $1.8 million – but says the two homes have a “completely different style” that helps her explore all her design inspirations.
Speaking to People magazine, the ‘Spring Breakers’ actress said: “I think it’s fun to have a completely different style in my LA home. My LA house feels very European – kind of like a getaway – and then in New York, it’s like a fun ‘Sex and the City’-style house.”

The 22-year-old model recently parted ways with her former beau Ben Simmons, and it has been claimed she’s already looking to move on with 19-year-old Anwar, who is the younger brother of her close friends and model sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid.
According to TMZ, Kendall and Anwar were spotted at the Malibu Chili Cook-Off on Friday (31.08.18), and again at Nobu on Sunday (02.09.18) night, sparking rumours of something hotting up between the pair.
Previously, the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star and the young model were seen kissing at the CFDA Awards after-party at the Socialista nightclub in New York City in June this year, before she started her romance with 22-year-old basketball star Ben.
Last week, it was reported Kendall had “cooled things off” with Ben following a three month romance, because she was never looking for anything serious due to how busy her catwalk career is and she just wanted a relaxed summer “fling.”
A source said: “She always wanted to keep her options open.
“She likes Ben but she knew it was more of a summer fling.
“They both have busy careers and it is what it is.
“Kendall isn’t looking for anything serious. She had fun with Ben, but wasn’t ever fully committed or looking for a long-term, exclusive relationship.”
Kendall hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to love over the years as, prior to dating Ben, she was in a short six-month relationship with Blake Griffin.
Again, the brunette beauty decided to call things off a shortly after they began to take off as she had too much on her “plate” career-wise to think about romance.
A source said at the time: “There was nothing that caused this specifically and they will always be friends.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj suffered a wardrobe malfunction which meant her audience saw her breasts “at least 50 times”.
The 35-year-old rapper took to the stage at the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, over the weekend, and has admitted things didn’t go according to plan when she ended up battling an outfit disaster, which left her “nipples” exposed to the crowd multiple times.
In a fan video posted on Twitter, the ‘Chun Li’ hitmaker joked as she continued with her performance, saying: “You know what? Let’s go at it. [They all] saw my nipples at least 50 times tonight.”
Nicki was wearing a belted mini dress with her long orange hair in a top knot when the front of her outfit fell open.
The star took the malfunction in her stride, as she seemed nonplussed by the incident when she took to Twitter the following day to tweet about her current mood.
She wrote: “I feel G R E A T (sic)”
This isn’t the first time the ‘Anaconda’ rapper has been faced with a wardrobe mishap either, as in 2014 during an appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live’, she had her chest blurred out as she showed too much cleavage.
That same year, she suffered another malfunction at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), and later opened up about the matter whilst chatting to Ellen Degeneres for her eponymous talk show.
Nicki – who had to walk out on stage holding her dress together – said at the time: “Right there, I thought I died. I didn’t have any underwear on. No underwear, no bra … I was butt-a** naked.”
Ellen then teased the star by offering her a massive, sparkly safety pin.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner “wasn’t affectionate” with Anwar Hadid when they were spotted together over the weekend.
The 22-year-old model and the 19-year-old younger brother of Kendall’s model pals Gigi and Bella Hadid were seen together twice over the weekend, sparking romance rumours, but sources have now said the pair weren’t particularly close and spent the whole time “with a group of friends”.
An insider told People magazine: “Kendall seems great. She’s spending time with Anwar. She obviously likes him, but both nights they were with a group of friends. She wasn’t affectionate with Anwar.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Wiz Khalifa has hit back at critics who slammed him for letting his son ride the bus to school.
The 30-year-old rapper posted on social media last week to gush over his five-year-old son Sebastian – whom he has with ex Amber Rose – as he headed to his first day of school, and said the tot “rode the bus and everything”.
Shortly after his post, Wiz was blasted by critics who claimed that given his and Amber’s shared wealth, they should be sending their son to school in a car rather than on public transport.
But now, Wiz has hit back, claiming he won’t restrict his child from having normal childhood “experiences” just because he happens to have money.
The ‘See You Again’ rapper said in a video posted on social media: “Being rich don’t got nothing to do with a child’s experiences. He said he wanted to ride the bus with his friends, so let kids do what they want to do. Chill.”
Despite wanting him to experience life as a normal child, the ‘Black and Yellow’ hitmaker recently opened up about his $16,000-per-month rental home, which he said has been decked out to make sure his tot has plenty of room to “run around and have fun”.
He said: “There was a lot of room for my son. I wanted to make sure he could run around and have a good time.
“When you walk in, you kind of just get the vibe of my son. He’s got his play area, he’s got his learning area, he’s got his imagination station. He gets to do him.”
Meanwhile, Sebastian got the taste of more star treatment earlier this year when he was given the chance to meet Taylor Swift.

OHMYGOSSIP — Abby Lee Miller has been released from her rehabilitation facility, four months after undergoing emergency spinal surgery.
The former ‘Dance Moms’ star is currently battling Burkitt Lymphoma – which is a rare form of cancer – and after being placed in rehab following her emergency surgery in April which saw her have 52 staples inserted into her spine, it has now been reported she is free to go home.
According to People magazine, Abby was discharged from the Los Angeles rehabilitation centre this week, where she had been staying in order to make sure she recovered from the intensive surgery.
The news comes after the 51-year-old reality star took to Instagram recently to praise her female doctors for supporting her throughout her recovery.
Posting a picture of herself in a wheelchair alongside two women riding scooters, she wrote: “I still beat them! On foot they failed & their birds flew too slow! Seriously, these two female Doctors, @kadeletti and @missoscar22 were such vital parts of my Physical Rehabilitation – I can never thank them enough! #abbylee

Despite her medical ordeal, Abby has been able to poke fun at her situation.

The former dance instructor also doesn’t seem too upset at the prospect of losing her locks to chemotherapy.

Abby first underwent underwent emergency surgery in April after complaining of “excruciating neck pain”.
She went under the knife for a laminectomy, an operation to remove the back of one or more vertebrae and her doctor, Dr. Hooman M. Melamed, previously admitted the dance instructor would have died if she had not gone in for the procedure.
He said at the time: “She’s made some recovery in 24 hours, which is better than no recovery.
“Nobody wants to end up thinking they’re going to be paralysed for the rest of their life. That’s a reality that’s facing all of these patients going into it. All you can do is pray and, as a surgeon, you maximize everything you can for the spinal cord to recover itself. I am hopeful.
“There’s a chance this can spread to any part of the body … this is probably coming from somewhere else.
“We don’t know where the source is. Any tumor that spreads anywhere is automatically Stage 4, but we have not determined the stage yet.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Zara Tindall was in “so much shock” when she returned to work following the birth of her first child.
The 37-year-old royal and Olympic equestrian has two daughters, Mia, four, and two-month-old tot Lena – both of whom she has with husband Mike Tindall – and has said that after making a return to horse riding following the birth of Mia in 2014, she found it difficult to get back into the swing of things.
She said: “The first time around my body was in so much shock. It was like, ‘What the hell have you done to me?'”
Zara is back in the saddle once again following the birth of Lena, and has said that her comeback this time feels much better than the first time.
She added: “[My return] feels good, actually. I’d love to try and get back on the team. I’d love to go to another Olympics.”
The Olympian – who is the daughter of Princess Anne and Mark Phillips – won a silver medal when the games came to her home city of London in 2012, and she says she still gets “goose bumps” when speaking about it.
In a promotional video for her sponsor, Land Rover, she said: “To be in London, the crowd, the whole Olympic experience, I can’t tell you, it gives me goose bumps talking about it. It is incredible.”
Zara’s return to horse riding comes after she previously suffered from two miscarriages in between the births of her two daughters.
The granddaughter of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth revealed in November 2016 that they were expecting another child before she suffered a tragic miscarriage just weeks later, and told the Sunday Times earlier this year that there had been a second miscarriage that she kept a secret because it was “too raw” to talk about.
She said: “You need to go through a period where you don’t talk about it because it’s too raw. But, as with everything, time’s a great healer.”

The ‘Real Housewives of New York’ star is currently dealing with the loss of her on-off boyfriend Dennis Shields – whom she began seeing in 2016 – after he was found dead in his Trump Tower apartment at the age of 51, and has said she’s been finding ways to relax her mind by completing water based activities such as ocean swims and beach walks.
She wrote on Twitter: “Doing anything in or by the water is life saving. Beach walks. ocean swims, wakeboarding, clamming, infrared sauna, jacuzzi & my swim really help. When you feel sad, you cry then you just have to force yourself to shift. It’s so hard but it works. (sic)”
And after one fan shared a quote with her that detailed how the air near the sea can help “balance levels of serotonin” – a body chemical linked with mood and stress – Bethenny added: “Exactly. I have had trouble breathing and I actually need it. Xo (sic)”
The tweets come after the 47-year-old reality star previously admitted she is finding it “hard to breathe” following the death of Dennis last month.
She tweeted: “It’s hard to breathe & I appreciate you giving me the space & support to try to do so. It’s excruciating-sudden death is no closure & constant ?s & memories. Our relationship is current so it’s painfully raw. Trying to stay healthy & move through it w tears & close friends. Xo (sic)”
Bethenny previously took to Instagram to post a tribute to her late ex-lover.
Posting a picture of Dennis laying on a bed with her beloved dog Cookie – who passed away in October last year at the age of 17 – Bethenny wrote: “Rest In Peace my sweet babies who gave me endless unconditional love. #nowandforever (sic)”
The star was not in a relationship with Dennis at the time of his death, but was left “devastated” by the news.
A source said: “She is devastated. She loved him. He was her family and [her eight-year-old daughter] Bryn’s family. Bryn loved him. Dennis was Bethenny’s partner, her family, her business partner and her best friend.
“He helped her with things – emotionally and professionally, and he was her confidante. No question that she did love this guy.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Roxanne Pallett feels “crippled with embarrassment” after accusing her ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ housemate Ryan Thomas of hitting her.
The ‘Emmerdale’ actress quit the Channel 5 reality show over the weekend after accusing her housemate of punching her during a play fight, and she’s now revealed she feels “devastated” and full of “shame” at the thought of potentially ruining Ryan’s career with her accusations.
Speaking during an interview with ‘CBB’ host Emma Willis – which was aired during Monday’s (03.09.18) episode but filmed earlier in the day – she said: “I feel devastated. It cripples me with embarrassment and shame that I could have put somebody in that position. Seeing the footage of Ryan in the Diary Room, distressed … I fully agree and understand with every single person’s reaction and perceptions to that. If I’d have been at home watching that I would have been the same.”
Roxanne, 35, says that whilst she felt “genuinely disturbed” by the altercation at the time, she now understands she was “massively wrong”, and feels “gutted” to have accused the ‘Coronation Street’ star of assault.
She added: “I felt, genuinely, disturbed by the fact that somebody had invaded my personal space. Because Ryan and I didn’t have that tactile relationship, and he’d done that to me a couple of times, I almost felt like he’d done that on purpose. And I was wrong, massively wrong. I wish I had the words to say just how gutted and ashamed … hindsight’s a wonderful thing. I got it wrong, only I can go away now and work on figuring out why I became that sensitive that I manufactured a different version in my mind.”
And the actress isn’t sure if she’ll manage to revive her career following the incident, which has seen Ofcom receive over 11,000 complaints.
When asked by Emma if she thinks she’ll ever have a career again, Roxanne said: “I am scared about the future. But to be honest Emma, I just need to think about today, and today was important to me to come here and not just talk to you, but to talk to every single person that’s been following the show, that’s supporting me, that’s supporting Ryan, that’s involved in this. I needed to say I got it wrong, and I’m human, and I made a massive, massive, horrible mistake.”

The 44-year-old fashionista and her family – including husband David Beckham and children Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, and Harper, seven – have been in the spotlight for around two decades, and the star says that during that time she’s learned how to ignore what people say about her, in order to focus on their “family bond”.
Speaking about the importance of family, the former Spice Girl said: “People have been making things up about our relationship for 20 years, so David and I are pretty used to ignoring the nonsense and just carrying on as normal. But these things have a wider effect on the people around us, and that’s unfair … We both realise that we are stronger together than we are as individuals. Would either of us be in the position that we are in now had we not met and been together all those years ago? It’s all about the family unit. We are much stronger the six of us, than we would be if we were individuals. We respect that family bond and that is key.”
Victoria also spoke about her youngest child and only daughter Harper, who she says is “quite girly” but is also influenced by her three older brothers.
Speaking to British Vogue magazine, Victoria added: “She’s been able to run in Alaïa platforms since she was three. On one hand, she’s quite girly, but on the other hand she has three big brothers and likes to run around and play football. She’s not scared of being pushed over … She wants to be an inventor.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj wanted to “punch” Travis Scott in his “f***ing face” after his album charted higher than hers.
The 35-year-old rapper insists she wasn’t “upset or angry” when her fourth studio album ‘Queen’ came in at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, below his record ‘Astroworld’, but admitted she questioned what is “right and what’s wrong and fair”, and says she felt like she was “tricked” by the 26-year-old rapper.
She said: “Why do people always say upset or angry? When someone says how they feel they’re not always upset or angry … I felt like I wanted to punch him in his f**king face.
“The thing is, it’s not anger, it’s what’s right and what’s wrong and what’s fair. I’ve had a number two album and I never cared.
“It’s just that when you have a number two album to someone who is selling shirts and merch and selling passes for a tour that isn’t announced yet, it feels like you’re being tricked.
“It feels like someone is playing a game and like beating you at a game opposed to just selling music. I want to sell music.
“He sold a lot of T-shirts and sweaters and tour passes, and we’re not going to have that.”
Nicki insisted she is not “ungrateful” about seeing her record reach second in the charts, but she doesn’t want to feel like she is being “bullied” and “taken advantage of”.
Speaking on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ – in a chat which will air on Tuesday (04.09.18) – she added: “I want to make sure I say this, because sometimes people think you’re ungrateful and I’m the most grateful person in the world. I love being grateful and remembering that things can be worse. I started from nothing. I’m one of those people, who I get it.

Nicki hit at out Travis last month, claiming part of his record sales success was down to his girlfriend Kylie Jenner selling “tour passes” on his behalf.

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyonce’s mom Tina Lawson “can’t believe” she was chosen to be the superstar’s parent.
The ‘Irreplaceable’ singer turned 37 today (04.09.18), and in a touching tribute, which saw Tina share a throwback picture of her daughter when she was just four-months-old on Instagram, she revealed how blessed she is to have given birth to such a “generous” and “loving person”.
Alongside the sweet photo, Tina, who also shared what a “privilege” it is to have given birth to Beyonce’s younger sister Solange Knowles, 32, in the post, wrote: “It’s already your birthday where you are So Happy Birthday to the nicest , owner of the most beautiful, generous , loving hearts ever !!!! Brilliant too! Always thinking , planning, analyzing, strategizing , how you can make everything you touch better! On this day you were 4 months old and i couldn’t even control the excitement and pride and the all encompassing love i felt for you , my first born I made a vow to love and cherish you everyday . For the rest of my life ! Sometimes i can’t believe out of all the incredible people in the world i was chosen by God to be your mom! The day that you and your sister entered this world were the two best days of my life , hands down !! It is a privilege to have carried you two in this body Enjoy your B-Day !!! No one deserves it more !! I love you Mom (sic)”
It’s not yet known how the ‘Crazy in Love’ hitmaker – who has six-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and 14-month-old twins Siri and Rumi with husband Jay-Z – will be celebrating her special day.
Beyonce and Jay are currently on their joint ‘On The Run Tour II’, with the next show scheduled to take place on September 11 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Last year, Beyonce celebrated her 36th birthday by watching her husband play Made in America festival in Philadelphia, and no expenses were spared when it came to the birthday cake, with it believed to have cost upwards of $3,500.

OHMYGOSSIP — William Shatner will wonder what his rift with Leonard Nimoy was about until the day he dies.
The 87-year-old actor is unsure why he and his ‘Star Trek’ co-star – who he once considered a best friend – fell out before his pal’s passing in February 2015 aged 83, and he still questions why his late colleague couldn’t have spoken to him about the feud.
According to the New York Daily News, William – who played Captain James T. Kirk in the sci-fi series – says in new book ‘Live Long and… What I Learned Along the Way’: “Until the day I die, I will still wonder what caused that rift.
“After all the years we had spent together, after the bond we had forged, what could I have done that was so irreparable that he couldn’t even talk to me about it?”
William admitted in 2016 that their fall out was “sad” and “permanent”, and one guess about what the cause could’ve been was Leonard’s refusal to participate in a movie he was making.
When asked why Leonard – who portrayed Spock in the ‘Star Trek’ film franchise – wouldn’t appear in the film, William replied: “I don’t know. I thought he was joking at first and treated it as a joke because he sometimes would pretend and say, ‘No, I’m not going to do that’ and then say, ‘Yes.’
“So that’s what I thought he did.
“But that time he really meant, no. I just don’t know, and it is sad and it is permanent. I don’t know why he stopped talking to me.”
William didn’t attend Leonard’s funeral in 2015 due to charity commitments in Florida, which sparked an angry backlash from friends.
He tweeted on Saturday (28.02.15): “I am currently in FL as I agreed to appear at the Red Cross Ball tonight. Leonard’s funeral is tomorrow. I can’t make it back in time.
“I feel really awful. Here I am doing charity work and one of my dearest friends is being buried.
“I chose to honor a commitment I made months ago to appear at a charitable fundraiser. A lot of money was raised. So here I am; tell me off.(sic)”
