OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Silverton will present Channel 5’s ‘Help The Animals At Christmas’ show this year.
The 48-year-old BBC News presenter will host the festive show, which will raise funds for the RSPCA, Scottish SPCA, Blue Cross, the Donkey Sanctuary and Wildlife Aid foundation.
Ben Frow – the director of programming at Channel 5 – said: “Christmas should be a happy time for all, including those who don’t have a voice – animals.
So this year, along with a host of famous faces, we are going to shine a light on animal welfare, raising awareness and money for five animal charities who work tirelessly to bring comfort and joy to animals all over the UK.”
Kate – who is currently competing on this year’s season of ‘Strictly’ with dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec – will join fellow contestants Susan Calman, Gethin Jones, Gaby Roslin and Michael Underwood in the three-hour live appeal on December 21.
The BBC journalist – who tore a muscle in her rib a day before her performance last week – performed the Argentine Tango and failed to impress the judges who gave the dance pair low scores.
Before the performance, Kate spoke about her injury to Claudia Winkleman and detailed how the accident happened when she was practising lifts.
She said: “I stripped a muscle on the ribs.
It happened very late yesterday during training when we were doing a lift.
I’ve not had much chance to recover.”
But even so, Shirley Ballas described the dance as “laboured” – causing ‘Strictly’ viewers to take to Twitter and brand the judges “unfair” for not accounting Kate’s injury.
Kate and Alijaz are currently rehearsing a quickstep routine to ‘I Want You To Want Me’ by Letters To Cleo which they will perform on Saturday (10.11.18).

OHMYGOSSIP — Emma Willis says she would present ‘Big Brother’ again.
The 42-year-old host – who shed a tear during Monday (05.11.18) night’s live finale – appeared on has revealed she would love to stick with the reality show if it finds a new home following its exit from Channel 5.
Emma – who has the programme since 2013 – told ‘This Morning’: “If it happened. In a perfect world it would be amazing.
“But until we get there, nobody knows. Nobody knows who’s going to make it. What they’re gonna want. Do they want new presenters?
“And depending on what changes they make will depend on whether I’ll be there or not. We’ll see. Who knows.”
Although Channel 5 reportedly axed the reality shoe due to a slump in viewing figures, there is still heavy speculation that the show – which first aired in 2000 on Channel 4 – will be picked up by another network and revamped due to its cult following.
Emma said she that she was unable to confirm of a return because nothing had been finalised between networkers and insiders.
She added: “I don’t know. And that’s hand on my heart, 100% – I honestly don’t know. People are very non committal at the minute because I think people don’t know.”
The TV star’s new show ‘Delivering Babies’ will begin on Monday (12.11.18) on Channel W, and it will feature her experiencing the gruelling training process on a maternity ward.
Emma, who worked four shifts day and night a week to complete the series, revealed that she was fully committed to the show and embraced the hectic schedule because she loves babies.
She added: “Babies – they just make me cry. I love it. It was just a dream come true!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Collins’ ‘Dancing On Ice’ partner Matt Evers has defended her in an angry rant against a nasty internet troll.
The 37-year-old reality star has received a torrent of abuse regarding her weight since signing up for the hit ITV show – however, her dance partner has taken to twitter to slam the user who suggested the show “reinforce the ice” ahead of her appearance.
Taking to Twitter, Matt wrote: “Who are you to judge and say something like that? Any decent ‘MAN’ wouldn’t body shame a woman.
“Unless your manhood is that small you’re threatened that their balls are bigger than yours.
“I’m sure your mothers well proud, Show your face ‘Paul’ (sic)”
Fans were quick to rush to Gemma’s defence and commend Matt for his tweet.
One user said: “Why do some people feel they have the right to criticise a person that they don’t even know!!!!” (sic)
Another wrote: “Well said Matt can’t believe the amount of horrible comments about Gemma she is amazing to try cause I definitely wouldn’t I’d be so scared. How sad is it that his profile picture says Choose love”. (sic)
Meanwhile, Gemma has spoken of how she hopes her stint on the show will kick-start a fitness regime to help her slim down for her wedding day.
The star is planning to marry James ‘Arg’ Argent in a couple of years but after admitting the pair piled on the pounds over the summer, she is keen to start eating well and “working hard” ready for James to pop the question.
She said: “I’m mainly doing the show for the amazing outfits and as a way of losing weight. If I commit myself to training and eating well I think I could really get in shape by doing the show.
“I want to get married in the next few years and I don’t want to be fat for my wedding day. We’ve both put on a lot of weight over the summer so now it’s time to work hard and get in shape.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Faye Tozer didn’t realise how unfit she was until she started ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 42-year-old singer admitted that despite maintaining a strict fitness regime in her everyday life, training with partner Giovanni Pernice on the hit BBC dancing show has been “a lot harder than she thought” physically.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’ she said: “Physically it’s a lot harder I thought. I was fit before I started the show I enjoy the gym I go to lots of classes.
“I thought my cardiovascular was really good and it’s just another thing completely your body is battered in a different way each week.”
The Steps member also revealed that dancing on the show is incomparable to touring with her fellow ‘Tragedy’ hitmakers as she had a much longer time to rehearse and her moves were easier to grasp.
She added: “People do the moves back to you so if you forget you just think ‘there we are but with this it’s like you’re out on your own you really are I mean obviously together but you know.”
Professional dancer Giovanni, 28, also declared that working with Faye was “easier” as she is willing to work hard and dedicated to giving a great performance.
He said: “It’s not just about winning it’s about good every single Saturday deliver a good performance and making the celeb look good.
“As I said before we just have like four days during the week to do everything to do choreography, to do technique to do musicality and make them confident in the dance.
“So yes it’s quite tricky for us but when you start if there are people like Faye that really want to do well then it’s easier for us.”

The 26-year-old rapper took to Twitter to praise her spouse Offset – who she married last year and has three-month-old daughter Kulture with – for his upcoming album ‘Culture III’ with Migos and admits she became really emotional listening to the tracks.
She wrote: “I’m loving hubby album …It’s a very deep album..Intro made me cry twice. (sic)”
The LP is the follow-up to Migos’ ‘Culture II’ which came out in January.
This isn’t the first time the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper has taken to social media to big up her husband, and she shared a sweet message with her 35.2 million followers earlier this week to thank him for always “uplifting” her.

OHMYGOSSIP — Stormzy has claimed he first approached Oxford University for help to launch a scholarship scheme for black British students but his idea was rejected.
The 25-year-old grime star – who topped the charts with his debut album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ last year – has set up a scholarship programme in conjunction with the University of Cambridge to cover the fees for two black students this year and two next year to study at the revered institution.
Speaking at the launch of his new book ‘Rise Up: The #Merky Story So Far’ at the Barbican Centre in London on Wednesday night (07.11.18), he said: “We tried Oxford but they didn’t want to get involved … so I’m throwing them under the bus now.”
However, the claim made by Stormzy – who appeared at the event with fellow rapper and author Akala, poet Benjamin Zephaniah and author Malorie Blackman – has been refuted by Oxford University with the institution claiming they had “not received or turned down any offer” regarding the undergraduate scholarships.
A statement said: “Oxford University is committed to widening access and participation for all students from under-represented backgrounds. We admire Stormzy’s commitment to inspire and support black students to succeed in higher education. We have not received or turned down any offer or proposal to fund undergraduate scholarships at Oxford. We have contacted to Stormzy’s representatives today to clarify we would welcome the opportunity to work together on inspiring students from African-Caribbean heritage to study at Oxford.”
The ‘Blinded By Your Grace’ hitmaker wants to find the “genius and incredible minds” in the “badly behaved kids” and believes their journey should be documented.
As well as his scholarship programmer, Stormzy has also developed publishing imprint #Merky Books, in collaboration with Penguin Random House, to release books from BAME authors.
The schemes are part of the ‘Big For Your Boots’ hitmaker’s goal to help individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds and disadvantaged areas to progress in society.
He previously said: “With #MerkyBooks and the publishing imprint, I want to tell stories that I feel like not only the country but the world needs to hear. It almost sounds a bit humanitarian, world peace kind of speech but I feel like my story and my whole team’s story, I feel like that is something that should be documented.
“It’s a very short story so far, in terms of we’ve got a hell of a long way to go but I feel like the story of a young, black south Londoner like myself coming through and assembling this incredible team of so many incredible people and having the success so far, I think that’s important, I think it should be documented.”

The ‘In My Feelings’ hitmaker was devastated to hear that Kay – who he met through the Make A Wish foundation – had passed away and has now revealed his ongoing tribute to the youngster as he continues his Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour.
Captioning an image of the K he has had embroidered into the shoulder pad of his tour outfit, he wrote: “got you with me every night now @the.kaydiaries (sic)”
Her family responded to the post, calling Kay Drake’s “guardian angel”.
Alongside a yellow heart emoji, they wrote in the comment section: “She’s now your guardian angel! We love and appreciate you – via The Family (sic)”
The pair met through the foundation, which helps poorly youngsters fulfil their wishes.
Taking to Instagram after it was revealed she had passed, he wrote: “Gonna miss you a whole lot. OHMYGOSSIP — Ashton Kutcher is reportedly in line to turn his MTV prank show ‘Punk’d’ into a film.
The 40-year-old actor created the hidden camera series with Jason Goldberg and from 2003 to 2007 he tormented numerous unwitting celebrities with ‘Candid Camera’ style pranks.
Paramount Pictures and MTV Films now want to bring the show – which continued after Ashton’s departure – to the big screen as they want to fill the void left by the end of the ‘Jackass’ franchise and Ashton is apparently keen to sign on the dotted line.
A source told America’s OK! magazine: “Paramount is hungry for a new prank-based film franchise now that the ‘Jackass’ movies have run their course, and the buzz is that they’re trying to woo Ashton into participating. He’s on the verge of saying yes.”
Ashton – who is married to Mila Kunis, with whom he has two children, daughter Wyatt, four, and two-year-old son Dimitri – wants to keep details of the film under wraps as he doesn’t want any of his potential prank victims to become aware of his plans.
The source added: “You can’t announce a ‘Punk’d’ movie and expect to get enough good footage of unsuspecting celebrities. If Ashton’s going to do this, he needs to make sure he can pull it off.
“He has a long list of celebrities to target including folks like Drake and Kevin Hart.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Markle found it really “fun” working with Prince Charles on music for her wedding.
The Duchess of Sussex tied the knot with Prince Harry at Windsor Castle earlier this year and was grateful to her father-in-law for the input in their musical sections, specifically the classical music.
She said: “We worked quite a lot with the Prince of Wales, who has incredible taste in specifically classical music, so it was really fun to spend some time going through selections with him.”
And the 37-year-old royal – who is expecting a baby with her husband – was thrilled to have the Kingdom Choir perform ‘Stand By Me’ at their wedding and says it was “very meaningful” to have them there.
She added: “There was a song that was very meaningful to us, ‘Stand By Me,’ but we wanted a gospel rendition of it for it to really have a lot of soul.”
And Meghan was thrilled with Harry’s choice of music for the walk down the aisle – ‘Eternal Source of Light Divine’.
Speaking in a recording for the new exhibition ‘A Royal Wedding: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’, she shared: “It was Harry’s choice entirely and I think a really beautiful piece. I can retrace that entire walk down the aisle listening to it. It really is so special to us, and I think it’s one of those things we’ll treasure forever.”
Meanwhile, Prince Harry recently praised his father Prince Charles for agreeing to walk Meghan down the aisle.

Since releasing the emotional track – which was penned after the horrific Manchester terror attack at her show in the UK city in 2017 – the 25-year-old star has suffered both the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller and her recent breakup from fiancé Pete Davidson, and she has hinted at the irony of the song’s title.
Taking to social media, she tweeted: “Remember when i was like hey i have no tears left to cry and the universe was like HAAAAAAAAA bitch u thought (sic)”
Ariana has had a tough time over the past three months, and she recently told her followers on Twitter that she has been relying on therapy to help her get through.
One fan commented after hearing her new single ‘thank u, next’ and said: “who is ariana’s therapist and are they accepting new clients (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Graham Nash is set to receive the Lifetime Achievement prize at the Americana Music Awards.
The 76-year-old iconic singer songwriter is to receive the UK Americana Music Association’s highest honour at next year’s ceremony, and the institution has described him as a fitting recipient.
The company’s CEO Stevie Freeman said: “It feels absolutely right that Graham Nash OBE will be accepting our Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019, joining past winners Richard Thompson and Robert Plant.
“His prolific solo career spans five decades alongside an incredible body of work with two iconic bands: The Hollies and international super group Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
“Nash wrote some of CSNY’s most memorable songs, including world wide hits that remain part of our musical landscape.”
The association has also praised the musician for his fiercely political streak, and it noted that Graham is highly motivated to make this world a better place through politically charged lyrics in his works like ‘No, Nukes’, ‘Musicians United for Safe Energy’ and ‘Military Madness.’
Stevie added: “He has never shield away from using his voice for activism, with political and environmental messages often head in his work.
“He is a wonderful icon for trans-transatlantic collaborations, proving once again that the core values of this music travel and mix to create a unique form that we call Americana.”
The UK Americana Awards will take place on Thursday January 31 at Hackney Empire and will be hosted by Bob Harris OBE.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bebe Rexha is set to perform at Spotify’s Secret Genius Awards.
The 29-year-old singer will attend the second annual event – which will be held at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles – alongside Ty Dolla Sign, Becky G, Daniel Caesar and Jacob Collier on November 16.
Keith Urban, G-Eazy, Tiesto, Timbaland, Bazzi, Max Martin, The-Dream, Tricky Stewart, Marcella Araica and Duro will be the night’s presenters while the glitzy event will be hosted by Ne-Yo, and Quincy Jones will receive the Legendary Genius Honor.
The event aims to honour the masterminds behind the music that fans are streaming the most on Spotify this year – including songwriters and members of the production team.
Bebe has written songs for the likes of Selena Gomez, Rihanna and Nick Jonas, and the ‘I’m A Mess’ hitmaker has previously explained that songwriters must take care when pitching their songs to potential artists.
She said:”There’s this etiquette in the industry, where you need to be respectful to the artist and only send the song to one person at a time otherwise it might hurt the artist’s feelings.
“You also want to make sure the song feels right for the artist. It’s more so than just how the voice feels on it or whether you personally connect to the artist as a writer.”
The blonde beauty also recalled moments where she was unsure which star was going to adopt her latest hit.
She said: “I remember pitching this song called ‘Under You’ for Rihanna, but they decided it was too low in the key, so I passed it on to Usher to cut it.
“A year later Usher hadn’t cut the track because he’d decided he didn’t want to put new music out, so I sent it to Nick Jonas, who ended up putting it out on his album.”

The 48-year-old actress enjoyed working with her pal on their new movie ‘Second Act’ and the duo ended up doing things they would do to each other “in real life” including slapping her and motivating her with an inspirational talk.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she said: “I was really, really, really happy when we did our first day of shooting it was just very easy and it just felt like me and Jennifer. The reason I love the idea of doing a movie with Jennifer is because I was gonna do a lot of things that wasn’t in the script and I was gonna be able to just improve.
“So that scene I just said ‘I’m just gonna do some stuff to Jennifer that I’d do in real life to her’ like I do that who’s the champ thing to her before the AMAs. I’m like ‘whose the champ’ and she’s like ‘I’m the champ’ I do it anyway even though she doesn’t like it.”
In one scene of the romantic comedy, lead character Maya, played by 49-year-old Jennifer, is slapped by Leah’s alter ego Joan – and the ‘King of Queens’ star revealed that during the improvised scene, the ‘Get Right’ singer couldn’t help but respond when Leah slapped her in the face.
She added: “So I did this and what you’re seeing is the way she really interacts and then I started to slap her and she cracked me right across the face at the end. I fell to the ground in laughter I ruined the take because she cracked me so hard it was so funny and I did that a lot in the movie I ruined a lot of takes.”

The ‘Genie in a Bottle’ hitmaker brought her kids – Max Liron, 10, and Summer, four – on the road during her Liberation Tour that stopped in St. Louis, Missouri on Tuesday night (06.11.18), and surprised fans by bringing her crowd-shy daughter on stage.
Speaking in an Instagram video, Aguilera says to Summer: “Do you want to hear everybody sing?”
The star then listens to the crowd performing and admits: “It’s beautiful, Sum! You hear that? I love you guys. Summer, this was way before you were born. Mommy was wearing Chucks.”
The star posted the video to her social media and captioned the post: “Summer begs me to come out every night onstage! And then gets shy…but loves it…she’s taking it all in early.”
The ‘Stripped’ chart topper admitted that having her children with her on tour has completely changed the experience for her.
She previously said: “It’s a lot of extra work. But it’s amazing. It’s actually why I was hesitant because it’s a lot to juggle, so many hats and so many things at the same time.
“I’m ultimately Mama Bear, so whenever we check into a hotel, it’s hard. Sometimes it’s four in the morning, but it’s not all about me. It’s different from touring when you’re 21 years old. It’s very narcissistic, and all you think about is yourself. All you have to think about is yourself, and now you’re thinking about the blankies and the favourite stuffies and it’s all the mom stuff.”

The 21-year-old beauty mogul – who has nine-month-old daughter Stormi Webster with rapper boyfriend Travis – has announced that she will be selling special limited edition lip glosses as merchandise at her partner’s latest tour.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star revealed the special packaging for the kits through a series of videos and pictures on her Instagram story – sharing a video of black boxes emblazoned with the words ‘I went to Astroworld and all I got was this f**** lip kit’.
The curvaceous beauty captioned one video: “We’ll be at the merch stand” (sic) and is heard saying in another: “Astroworld lip kits are going to be on tour”.
Kylie also let fans know that the highly anticipated kit won’t be available at the first show but the reality star promised to keep her fans updated on which show’s it’ll be available at.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are officially divorced.
The former couple – who have Violet, 12, Seraphina, nine, and Samuel, six, together – had their marriage dissolved by their private judge last month, and on Wednesday (07.11.18), their finalised divorce papers were signed off after they were submitted to the LA County Superior Court judge last week.
Ben and Jennifer, both 46, carried out their divorce proceedings without hiring a lawyer, and according to TMZ, they have agreed to share joint custody of their brood and have planned to meet with a coparenting therapist on a monthly basis for a minimum of six months.
The couple did not have a prenup, and have agreed on a property split.
Ben and the ‘Peppermint’ star announced they were separating in 2015, and it took them almost two years before they finally filed for divorce with the courts, in which they specified their desire for joint legal and physical custody of their children.
Since their split, they have become known for the slow movement of their divorce case, and earlier this year their divorce came under threat of dismissal after they were deemed to be taking too long for progress with legal action.

And although Ben is believed to now be single, he still “wants the best” for his former spouse, especially after she supported him during his recent trip to rehab for alcohol addiction.
A source said: “Ben will always want the best for Jen. They continue to have a really strong relationship and both work very hard to make everything easy for the kids. She has always been supportive of him.”
