OHMYGOSSIP — Eva Longoria is determined to teach her son about “equality”.
The 43-year-old actress gave birth to her son Santiago Enrique – whom she has with her husband Jose ‘Pepe’ Baston – in June this year, and has said she’s planning on raising the tot to understand feminist values, and will teach him that “women are equal to men”.
She said: “People overthink the word ‘feminism’. It means equality. That’s it. So it’s not a lot of degrees of equality. It is what it is. So for me to be able to teach him women are equal to men is going to be a big lesson. But it’s not only about teaching him, it’s about showing him.”
The ‘Desperate Housewives’ star knows that children “emulate” what those around them are doing, so will make sure she “walks the walk” when it comes to being a feminist.
She added: “And a lot of times, our young kids, they emulate. They’re not going to hear what I’m saying. He wants to emulate what I’m doing, so I think it’s important for us to walk the walk.”
Eva set up the Eva Longoria Foundation seven years ago to “help Latinas build better futures for themselves and their families through education and entrepreneurship,” and says the values of the organisation are even more important now she has a son to think about too.
She explained: “There are a lot of values I want to teach him, but for me, this work now has become so much more important. The stakes are so much higher now because the world in which I’m going to leave him has to be okay, from the environment to our government to representation to civil rights.”
And whilst she’s working on building a better future for her little one, the ‘Overboard’ actress says she now feels “anxiety” about the state of the world because she’s never sure if she’ll make it home to her son.
Speaking to People magazine, she said: “I actually now get anxiety about the work I do as opposed to before. I was like, ‘This is great, what I’m doing – I’m helping people.’ But now [as a mom] I’m like (breathes in deeply), ‘What happens if something happens to me tomorrow and the world is the way it is and it’s just not quite right yet?'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Vanessa Hudgens regrets splashing her cash when she first found fame.
The 29-year-old actress was handed her first big pay cheque when she starred in ‘High School Musical’ aged just 17, and immediately started spending money on material items, which she now thinks was a bad idea.
She said: “I think I splurged on [material items] because I didn’t really know how hard you have to work to make sure that you have an income. I mean, I used to buy Louis Vuitton bags all the time, and it was kind of a mess.”
The ‘Spring Breakers’ actress even admitted to once having her credit card declined because she tried to spend too much at once, but rather than give up on the purchase, she simply used a different card with a higher spending limit.
She added: “I have not had a credit card denied. Oh wait, yes, I have! Because I tried to spend more money than what’s allowed. I think I was at like, Cartier, buying myself a Cartier bracelet probably, like, 10 years ago. And it was more than what my card was going to let me spend. So I just used another one ’cause it had a higher spend limit.”
Now though, Vanessa is much more money conscious, and says that whilst she does splurge on getting food delivered to her quite often, she no longer succumbs to impulse buying.
Speaking to InStyle magazine for their ‘Money Talks’ series, she said: “The amount of money that I spend on food is ridiculous. [But now] I love telling my girlfriends when we go shopping, if they see something that they really like, ‘Sleep on it and if you can’t stop thinking about it, come back and get it.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner has been awarded a five-year restraining order against her alleged stalker.
John Ford was arrested last month after he was found sitting outside the home of the 22-year-old model for the second time in a week, and after Kendall was originally given a temporary document ordering Ford to stay 100 yards away from her and her home at all times, E! News has now reported that a more permanent order has been put in place.
Ford now has to remain the agreed distance away from Kendall for five years, in a restraining order which also prevents him from having any direct or indirect contact with her.
Ford’s arrest on October 16 came after another incident the week previous, in which he scaled the mountainside at the back of the the gated complex where Kendall lives – where there is no security – and was spotted by Kendall’s team sitting in her backyard by her pool.
Police were called at the time but Ford had gone by the time they arrived, and so no arrest was made until he was spotted once again on Kendall’s front porch on Tuesday.
Following his arrest, 37-year-old Ford was being held on a 5150 psychiatric hold, but after a psychiatrist deemed him to be mentally stable the following day, he was released.
However, on the morning of October 18, just hours after he was released, the LAPD then swooped in to arrest Ford once again, booking him for criminal trespass and violating a restraining order.
Prior to being arrested at Kendall’s home, Ford was arrested in September for breaking into a gated community which has been home to the likes of the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star, Britney Spears, Slash, Christina Aguilera, Paris Hilton and Charlie Sheen.

OHMYGOSSIP — Caitlyn Jenner’s Malibu home has allegedly been caught in the Californian wildfires.
The 69-year-old reality star – who was formerly known as Bruce Jenner – was among the people evacuated from their homes in Southern California this week as the Woolsey fire continues to burn out of control, and it has now been claimed her Malibu hills home has gone up in flames.
According to TMZ, the home – which Caitlyn has lived in since 2015 – sits on top of a ridge overlooking the Malibu beach area, and was caught by the wildfire on Friday (09.11.18) as the blaze tore through the area.
Caitlyn was evacuated from the property earlier this week as part of a mandatory evacuation of the Malibu area, which also saw her former daughters-in-law Kim Kardashian West, Khloe Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian all forced out of their homes.
Kim – who has North, five, Saint, two, and nine-month-old daughter Chicago with her ‘All Day’ rapper husband Kanye West – took to Instagram to share the scenes from the blaze as she landed, and revealed she and her family had just an hour to pick up a few of their belongings before leaving.
She wrote: “Pray for Calabasas. Just landed back home and I had one hour to pack up and evacuate our home. Pray everyone is safe.”
She then updated fans, letting them know she was having to leave her home, writing: “They’re evacuating everyone now from all of our homes.”
The 38-year-old reality star then praised the fire services, adding: “Fire fighters are arriving. Thank you for all that you do for us!!! (sic)”
And 34-year-old Khloe – who evacuated with her daughter True, six months, her brother Rob Kardashian, 31, and his daughter Dream, 23 months – said she was struggling to sleep amid her worries about the raging fires.
She tweeted: “I am with Rob, Dream and True and I am up keeping watch! Saying prayers and thanking all of the brave firefighters who risk their lives for us
“I can not sleep! I am too nervous with these fires (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince William feels “really angry” about the illegal wildlife trade.
The 36-year-old royal has long been a supporter of protecting endangered wildlife including elephants, rhinos, and tigers, and has now said he feels “very sad” about the increased risk to the planet’s creatures, as well as to the rangers who are trying to protect them, who sometimes get killed by poachers.
He said: “Over 1,000 rangers have been killed in the last 10 years. It makes you really angry. It makes you very sad. We know where the wildlife are that are being poached. We know how the product is moved and we know where it ends up. You’ve got every possible bit of research and evidence you could need to fix this.”
The royal then praised governments for starting to do more to ban the trading of animal products such as ivory, but says progress isn’t happening “quickly enough”.
Speaking in a documentary entitled ‘The Last Animals’ – which documents the decimation of Africa’s wildlife by ruthless gangs and traces the killing from the savannahs of Africa to the consumers in Asia and around the world – William said: “The fact that governments are taking the steps they are shows that it’s on the global agenda. People do care, governments do see the seriousness of this problem. But it’s definitely not happening quickly enough. I’d love it to click your fingers and it be like that.”
His comments come after he gave a speech last month where he detailed how “heartbreaking” it is that by the time his children – Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, three, and Prince Louis, six months, all of whom he has with his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge – are in their 20s, many endangered species may be completely extinct in the wild.
He said: “I, for one, am not willing to look my children in the eye and say that we were the generation that let this happen on our watch. It is time to treat the illegal wildlife trade as the serious organised crime that it is.
“It is heartbreaking to think that by the time my children George, Charlotte and Louis are in their 20s, elephants, rhinos and tigers might well be extinct in the wild.
“I feel it is my duty, and our collective responsibility, to leave our planet in a stronger position for our children.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Audrina Patridge and Corey Bohan have reached a divorce settlement.
The 32-year-old reality star and Corey, 36, filed for divorce in September 2017 after 10 months of marriage, and over a year later, it seems their bitter court battle is finally coming to an end, as they’ve now reached a settlement.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, the former couple – who have two-year-old daughter Kirra Max together – filed court papers on October 2 stating that they have reached an agreement and plan to submit a “stipulation for judgment” with the court soon.
The terms of the agreement have not yet been revealed, but it has been claimed that both Audrina and Corey have signed the forms, which were filed to the Superior Court of California, County of Orange.
The date of the filing comes two days before Corey filed separate documents to legally prevent Audrina from featuring their daughter on the upcoming reboot of MTV reality series ‘The Hills’.
Corey requested that “neither party allow the minor child to be filmed or to appear in any reality television production without the express, written consent of the other parent” and “any prior consent for the minor child to appear on ‘The Hills’ reboot to be revoked and proof of revocation to be provided.”
The biker also claimed the Audrina’s plan to have Kirra on the show showed she has “poor judgement” and insisted he had never been asked to consent to her plans, while also accusing Audrina of “making exaggerated claims” in her restraining order application to secure legal custody so she didn’t need his permission to involve the tot in the programme.
In addition to seeking joint legal and physical custody – on a “2/2/3 or 2/5 parenting schedule” – of Kirra, the BMX rider wants Audrina to pay his legal costs, which are estimated at $50,000.
He also requested: “a specific order restraining Audrina from allowing Kirra to appear on any reality television program including, without limitation, ‘The Hills’ without my prior written consent.”
The pair were due to attend an appointment for child custody mediation or child custody recommending counselling on December 20, but it’s unclear whether their new settlement has changed that plan.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Jonas has gifted his groomsmen electric scooters.
The 26-year-old musician is gearing up to tie the knot to his fiancée Priyanka Chopra in a ceremony which is expected to take place next month, and he’s decided to give his party of ushers and his best man an unusual gift to mark the special occasion, as he’s hooked them up with electric scooters.
Posting a picture of himself next to a pool, surrounded by six Lime scooters, he wrote: “I was searching for a fun way for my groomsmen to be mobile and ready to roll – so I called up my friends at @Limebikefor some help… #groomsmengift #CitrusGotReal (sic)”
The post – which was a paid promotion with the Lime bike brand – had his three brothers Kevin, Joe, and Frankie, as well as Priyanka’s brother Siddharth, and actor Jonathan Tucker all tagged as each of the scooters, suggesting they will make up his groomsmen.
Lime also posted a similar picture on their own Instagram account, in which they sent the ‘Jealous’ hitmaker the “warmest wedding wishes”.
Their post read: “Here’s looking at you, @nickjonas! You’re officially going to have the #ZestDressed wedding party around. Sending you and @priyankachopra the warmest wedding wishes! #LimeTRIBE #CitrusGotReal (sic)”
Nick’s next step comes as he and Priyanka, 36, were said to have obtained their marriage license last week.
The pair are set to head to India for their wedding next month, and the license will be filed when they return to the US, making their marriage official in both countries.
Meanwhile, Nick recently admitted he is able to be his “authentic self” when he’s around the ‘Quantico’ star.
He said: “You have to be honest with your other half. That’s where the beauty of a real relationship is, being able to be your authentic self. I have that in my life now.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry says “opposites attract” when it comes to her relationship with Orlando Bloom.
The superstar couple – who first started dating in 2016 and reconciled their romance earlier this year after splitting in 2017 – have found a “balance” despite their differences.
She explained to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I think when you’re attracted to someone, it’s sort of like how opposites attract.
“I’m looking for that balance and maybe he’s looking for [someone who is] a multi-tasker.”
The 33-year-old singer admitted her 41-year-old boyfriend has been trying to get her to join him in some of his healthy new habits.
She joked: “Ugh! He’s always trying to get [me] to go hike, or do yoga or eat vegan.”
When her fellow ‘American Idol’ judge Luke Bryan teased his co-star would rather hike to Taco Bell, Katy seemed to agree.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bhavna Limbachia and Faye Brookes feel “like a real couple”.
The ‘Coronation Street’ stars play lesbian lovers Rana Nazir and Kate Connor – dubbed Kana by soap super-fans – on the ITV show, and Bhavna admits they have grown so close since the storyline started they sometimes just “stand there and hug for a bit” when the cameras stop rolling.
She said: “I work a lot with Faye. Sometimes we’re like a real couple.
“The most important thing is to let yourself really go to those emotional places. Sometimes when the director shouts ‘cut’ we just stand there and hug for a bit.
“We’ve both come on this journey together, and it’s been really lovely.”
Kana’s relationship has been a huge hit with ‘Corrie’ fans, so much so they remind the actors about parts of their own storyline at times.
Speaking to the Inside Soap magazine 2019 Yearbook, Bhavna added: “I’m just so grateful that so many people are behind the storyline and the characters.
“Even if we forget things, they keep us updated. Like when it was the anniversary of Kate and Rana’s first kiss, which was on screen on National Coming Out Day, the fans all reminded us on social media.”
Kana recently popped the question to each other at the same time, and Bhavna admits she felt teary when she read about the proposal in the script.
She said: “It was really emotional. When I first read the script it really moved me and I texted Faye to say that I’ve just cried reading it!
“It was because I knew how much heart was going to go in to filming this scene so when we did come to film it we were both feeling teary.

OHMYGOSSIP — Brian McFadden says Gemma Collins has been acting like a “diva” on ‘Dancing on Ice’.
The 38-year-old singer claims the reality TV star has “her own world” on the programme, and compared her to singing superstar Mariah Carey – who has previously denied being a diva, but also poked fun at the reputation – but admits he is a big fan of the ‘TOWIE’ star.
He said: “Gemma is the Mariah Carey of the UK. You talk about a diva … my word.
“She’s got her own world. The rest of us do our own thing and Gemma’s got her own world.
“She’s brilliant – I love her.”
Brian is hoping to taste success on the ice skating show next year, and is determined to beat his pal and fellow contestant James Jordan after they placed a “big bet” about which of the two would exit the competition first.
He said: “James Jordan, one of my great mates, is there, too. It only makes a difference if I beat him, because we’ve got a big bet on about who is going to go out first.
“So as long as I beat him I don’t care. I’ll go out second as long as he goes out first.”
While Brian is enjoying rehearsals, he has had to change up his sleeping position because he keeps injuring certain parts of his body.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, he added: “I keep falling on the same bum cheek and the same elbow. So I’m in bed like this, trying to get this bum cheek that way.
“It’s not [a good way to sleep].
“I was worried it was going to be annoying having to learn the moves every day, but I’m actually having so much fun.”
Brian – who will be partnered by pro skater Alex Murphy on the show – asked programme host Lorraine Kelly if she is going to vote for him on ‘Dancing on Ice’, to which she said “of course”.
And he replied: “You say that now, but when Gemma Collins is on next week, and you’re going, ‘Gemma, I’m going to vote for you.’ ”
But the TV presenter replied: “No. I don’t think that’s going to happen”.
Lorraine previously predicted Gemma will “walk out on episode one” of ‘Dancing on Ice’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Ruffalo is set to star in Todd Haynes’ film about the DuPont chemical pollution scandal.
The 50-year-old ‘Avengers’ actor will play Robert Bilott, a corporate defence attorney who featured in Nathaniel Rich’s New York Times Magazine’s article ‘The Lawyer Who Became DuPont’s Worst Nightmare’ and uncovered years of environmental pollution by the company which will be the plot for the currently untitled film.
The DuPont scandal happened in 2016 when residents, employees and lawyers took on the notorious business and exposed years of the chemical C8 found in everyday household products and Teflon.
The chemical waste was found to be linked to six diseases – including testicular cancer – and is highly toxic, but it was released into the waterways in West Virginia.
‘House of Lies’ filmmaker and producer Matthew Carnahan has written the screenplay for the Todd Haynes blockbuster and will also feature Pamela Koffler and Christine Vachon who will produce the hit.
Participant acquired the rights to the feature article and opened the floodgates to make the movie with Robert Kessel overseeing the development and production.
Ruffalo – who is busy also working on the fourth instalment of the ‘Avengers’ franchise – is keeping busy as he is also playing twins in a new HBO series.
The star will also serve as executive producer in the six-part programme ‘I Know This Much Is True’, which is based on the book of the same name by Wally Lamb, and he can’t wait to get started.
Mark – who won awards for his performance in Ryan Murphy’s HBO movie ‘The Normal Heart’ – tweeted: “Excited to be working with the @HBO team again! Can’t wait for you all to see this story.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Glenn Close found it difficult playing Cruella De Vil in ‘101 Dalmatians’ because the dogs were afraid of her.
The 71-year-old actress has admitted it was tough playing the villainous Cruella – who wants to steal a hoard of puppies to make her new coat – in the 1996 live-action comedy as all of the animals on her “didn’t want anything to do with her” while shooting.
Speaking to Deadline, she said: “That was hard because when I was in full drag Cruella all those wonderful little dogs didn’t want anything to do with me.”
The ‘Fatal Attraction’ star found it easier to channel the antagonist when she put on the character’s iconic make-up and black and white wig.
She said: “There’s certain characters that I’ve played like Cruella … that when you’re in the full drag there she is.”
And Glenn also divulged that she still gets stopped by fans who recognise her from the role.
Asked for what role she gets stopped the most by fans for, she explained: “Cruella because kids are in college now grew up with me as Cruella which is a little sobering.”
Glenn also opened up about her latest film ‘The Wife’, and she felt it was “extraordinary” that the movie was largely created by women.
She said: “It was new territory for me. It was new kind of emotional psychological territory and I’m always kind of intrigued by that and I thought it was a really beautifully written script.” It’s extraordinary because Jane wrote the script over 14 years ago but the thing I’m very proud of for this movie we have a female editor a female costumer, many female producers, female composer, a beautiful score it’s incredible how things work out sometimes.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Hudson has returned to work after welcoming her first child with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa.
The 39-year-old actress was honoured by designer Michael Kors at a dinner to celebrate her charity work and support of the World Food Programme, the world’s largest humanitarian agency – which provides food assistance to an average of 80 million people in 76 countries each year – on Wednesday night (07.11.8) in Los Angeles.
It was Kate’s first public appearance since she gave birth to daughter Rani Rose just over a month ago.
The ‘Almost Famous’ star – who was named an ambassador to the United Nation’s World Food Programme last week – has been an avid supporter of Michael’s Watch Hunger Stop initiative for three years.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the 59-year-old fashion house owner said: “I’m proud to work with her, because we’ve been friends for years and I admire how kind she is and how committed.
“Also, having seen her in action over the years, I know she can and will succeed at anything she sets her mind to.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Bride Wars’ actress “can’t stop smiling” following the birth of her little girl.
An insider said she’s been over the moon with her new arrival.
They said: “[Kate] can’t stop smiling. She’s always wanted a daughter so this is really a dream come true.”
Kate already has sons Ryder, 14, and Bingham, seven, from previous relationships, and the two boys are “so excited” to be big brothers to their sister.
The source added: “And her big brothers are so excited – they’ll be so protective and sweet to her always.”
Kate announced she had given birth to her baby daughter on her Instagram page.
She wrote: “We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor. Everyone is doing well and happy as can be. Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back.”
And that weekend, she shared the first picture of her new arrival wrapped in a blanket fast asleep.

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato is reportedly relying heavily on support from ex Wilmer Valderrama to stay sober.
The 26-year-old singer recently left rehab after a 90-day stint – which followed her hospitalisation from an overdose in July – and is spending three days a week at a sober house, which has counselling staff on hand, as well as people who she can share experiences with.
But it’s believed to be her regular chats with the 38-year-old actor that are helping her the most, with a source insisting they are just good friends.
An insider told TMZ: “She and Wilmer still communicate regularly. Valderrama was a crutch for Demi through her hospitalization and visited her in rehab too.
“The two talk several times a week and meet up as well … but it’s nothing romantic, simply a supportive friendship.”
The gossip site recently claimed the ‘Confident’ singer is keen to resume a normal life so spends the rest of her time at a private home and is free to visit the gym or run errands, though she has a sober coach with her around the clock.
The ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ hitmaker has also been attending regular Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings.
Earlier this week, Demi was pictured catching up with Henry Levy – who she met on a previous stint in rehab – and pals think the clothing designer is a “perfect sober friend” for her.
A source said: “Henry and Demi met a few years ago in rehab. They hit it off immediately and became fast friends.
“Henry takes his sober life very seriously and, when Demi sadly relapsed, they lost touch for some time… Henry is exactly the friend Demi needs right now.
“He is a perfect sober friend for her. Her friends feel he is a positive influence on her.
“Henry and Demi have been hanging at Demi’s home watching movies. This is such a key time in Demi’s sober process and just staying away from the party scene truly helps.”
The ‘Sober’ singer has vowed to “dedicate herself” to a life of sobriety following several years of struggling with addiction, and is thought to be distancing herself from her old friendship group, with the exception of Wilmer.
A source added: “[She] has dedicated herself to her sober life and has surrounded herself with people in her programme.
“She is avoiding those in her social circle that supported her precarious lifestyle. Demi deserves a partner who will help her continue to live a clean life and her family and friends feel she is choosing more appropriate friends.”

The former ‘Friends’ actress has her own personal tarot card reader who is giving her insight into her future and helping her make decisions in her life with the aide of the occult practise.
A source told America’s OK! magazine: “Courteney’s always been a control freak when it comes to her life and her career. But suddenly she wants the advice of her personal tarot card reader. There’s always a stack of tarot cards at Courteney’s house waiting to be read.”
Courteney – who is in a relationship with Snow Patrol musician Johnny McDaid and has 14-year-old daughter Coco from her marriage to David Arquette – is said to find that the guru’s work has a calming influence on her life and has improved her thought process and she wants to get more readings.
The source added: “She swears by it. She says she’s a lot less stressed because of her guru’s calming and knowledgeable presence.”
Perhaps Courteney has spoken to her personal tarot card reader about the possibility of a ‘Friends’ reunion happening.
The 54-year-old actress – who played Monica Geller in the television show from 1994 to 2004 – recently admitted she doesn’t know if there’s a way to “redo” the sitcom with her co-stars Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow.
Courteney said: “People ask us all the time, ‘Will we ever do a remake?’ That was a story about these group of people that are friends in their 30s who are finding themselves. I don’t know if there’s a way to redo it. I just don’t see it happening. Even though I would do anything to be in a room with all of those people acting and having a great time. But I don’t see it happening.”

OHMYGOSSIP — James Arthur didn’t “like himself at all” when he “ran away” from fame.
The ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ hitmaker experienced a huge fall from grace a few years ago and he was dropped from his record label, only to pick himself back up and return to the spotlight. However, looking back on that time now, James admits it was “quite scary”.
Speaking on ITV’s Loose Women on Thursday (08.11.18), he said: “It was [difficult to cope with] because although I had a dream to be a successful musician or an artist, nothing could really prepare you for the level of scrutiny. People judge you on your character and the way you look. You can’t go to the corner shop without people tapping you on the shoulder and things like that. I wasn’t prepared for that. It was a weird thing for me. I struggled and I think I did everything I could to get rid of it. And then when it was gone, it was like ‘Oh my gosh this is gone now.’ That was quite scary. I was self-medicating. I was running away from it. I didn’t like myself at all at that point.”
James previously described himself as a “tortured soul”.
He confessed: “I’ve been a tortured soul. I’ve been through a lot of heartache so I definitely put that in my music. It’s where I express it the best. That’s the thing I rely on the most.”
Talking about growing up in foster care, he added: “It was a bit scary. I lived with a lady who’d taken up fostering children and they were always fairly troubled kids. There was a lot of tension because you’d be fighting a lot and looking over your shoulder. And I just wanted to be back with my sisters and my family. But it probably toughened me up in a good way. I learnt the value of family through that.”
