Eminem: My beef with Machine Gun Kelly isn’t about Hailie

OHMYGOSSIP — Eminem insists his beef with Machine Gun Kelly isn’t about him calling his daughter Hailie “hot as f**k” in 2012.
The ‘Lose Yourself’ rapper has teased that his problem with the 28-year-old star is “a lot more petty” than anything he’s ever said about the 22-year-old beauty on Twitter, after he hit back with the diss track ‘Not Alike’ on his surprise record ‘Kamikaze’ last month.
In the first part of a YouTube interview with musician Sway, Eminem – real name Marshall Mathers III – explained: “You know you go down the wormhole of YouTube and whatever, right?
“So I see, ‘Machine Gun Kelly talks about Eminem’s daughter’ or whatever, right? So I’m like, ‘What the f***?’ I clicked on it. Then he starts doing a press run, basically, about Hailie. I’m like, ‘What the f***? Yo, my man better chill.’
“So, that’s not why I dissed him. The reason I dissed him is actually a lot more petty than that. Now I’m in this f***in’ weird thing, because I’m like, ‘I’ve got to answer this motherf***er.'”
On the song, Eminem raps: “Now you wanna come and f**k with me, huh? / This little c**k-sucker, he must be feeling himself / He wants to keep up his tough demeanour, so he does a feature / Decided to team up with Nina / But next time you don’t gotta use Tech N9ne if you wanna come at me with a sub-machine gun/And I’m talking to you but you already know who the f**k you are, Kelly/I don’t use sublims and sure as f**k don’t sneak-diss/But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie.”
Eminem is already back in the studio after MGK released his diss track ‘Rap Devil’ in response to ‘Not Alike’.
Kelly – whose real name is Richard Baker – admitted his rap battle with the hip-hop legend is a “battle between the past and the future”.
He said: “This is not a battle between Michigan and Ohio. This is a battle between the past and the f***ing future.”
Part two of the Sway interview, with the full explanation on their feud, is set to follow.

Dennis Quaid still upset by Natasha Richardson’s death

OHMYGOSSIP — Dennis Quaid is still devastated by Natasha Richardson’s death.
The 64-year-old actor starred opposite the late actress – who passed away in 2009 after a skiing accident – in the 1988 remake of ‘The Parent Trap’ and he will always remember her as a “beautiful” person.
He said: “Now you hit my heart. She was such a beautiful person, such a beautiful, beautiful person. Just none of that, that actor stuff, prima donna stuff.
“Someone easy to work with and such a great sense of humour.”
And Dennis recalled how the passing of Natasha – who was married to Liam Neeson, the father of her sons Michael and Daniel – hit everyone who knew her very hard.
He added in an interview with Us Weekly magazine: “When that accident happened, it just devastated me and so many other people.
“She had such a beautiful love, married life with Liam, and two beautiful boys. She always had a smile on her face when she came to work. That really affected everyone around her.”
Dennis is proud that ‘The Parent Trap’ – which starred Lindsay Lohan as twin girls conspiring to get their divorced parents back together – has remained so popular and joked it was used as a “babysitter” to keep children occupied in the late 1980s.
He said: “Things start to go by so quick. That movie just keeps going on and on and on.
“You know, the first one was made with Hayley Mills. I think I was about 10 years old when I saw it. Brian Keith played the dad in that. Hayley Mills, oh my gosh, I had such a crush on her.
“But, ‘The Parent Trap’ was made during the time of VHS. When it came out on VHS I think every parent in America used it as a babysitter while they were at home. So many kids saw that like 40 or 50 times.
“I usually say, ‘Yeah, I used to be a babysitter while your parents were doing what they wanted to do.'”

ASAP Rocky believes in aliens

OHMYGOSSIP — A$AP Rocky believes in aliens.
The 30-year-old rapper is convinced he’s part of a generation that will make contact with extra-terrestrial life and admitted he has “so many questions” for other worldly beings.
He said: “I mean, sometimes I sit back, and maybe you can blame it on the weed and s**t, but I think this generation will be the one that could discover extraterrestrial life.”
Asked what he’d say if he met an alien, he added: “I would ask so many questions.
“But if aliens want a definitive statement of human life, I’d just say take a look at me — I’m quite the motherf***er, I must say.”
The ‘Everyday’ singer also claimed he took LSD under the laboratory conditions of a neuroscientist while working on ‘Praise the Lord’ with Skepta as part of the expert’s research.
He explained to the September/October issue of Gentleman’s Journal magazine: “This scientist wanted to see the conditions of our brains when we were writing these song on LSD.
“It was a wild new way to do things” — testing in every sense of the word.”
When it comes to becoming successful, A$AP advises would-be entrepreneurs to be true to themselves and express “all the parts” of who they are.
He said: “People need to be dynamic nowadays, and weird and different is in. Kids understand that. That’s the new world, the new economy. Don’t be derivative.
“I don’t know what to tell anybody out there because it’ll sound like some corny motivational s**t. But all I can do is be me the most, and hope they do the same.
“I got a goofy side, I got a cool side, I got a handsome side, I got a nerdy side, I got a ghetto side, I got an elegant side, I got an eloquent side, I speak in ebonics…
“There’s so many factors that make me as a whole, but I’m not afraid to express all the parts that make me who I am. So, in other words, be your f***ing self, and the rest is pretty easy.”

Susannah Constantine taking horse supplement for Strictly Come Dancing

OHMYGOSSIP — Susannah Constantine is taking a daily dose of a joint supplement meant for horses to ease her pain during her training for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 56-year-old fashion advisor – who has spent hours a day in the dance studio with her partner Anton du Beke rehearsing for the first live show next week – has been told to take “one scoop” of JointPro, a supplement given to hard-working horses to relieve arthritis, to prevent too much strain on her creaky bones.
Taking to her Instagram account, she uploaded a photograph of a pot of JointPro – worth £100 – and wrote: “This is what vets give to old, knackered horses who need their joints and tendons oiled. Taking one scoop day with water.”
Despite her pain, Susannah is determined to push through because Anton believes they have what it takes to win the series if they work hard enough.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “All that trotting around the training room with Anton is clearly putting Susannah through her paces.
“She’s putting a lot of effort into it but it’s a bit of a shock to the system.
“Anton is competitive and thinks the pair can go far in the competition if they put enough work in. Everything’s to play for.”
However, Susannah – who is the oldest contestant on the line-up this year – did have a little wobble before she started training and her best friend Trinny Woodall had to talk some sense into her and make her realise how “lucky” she was.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: “I speak to Trinny every day, if not three times a day. The first night I was crying, saying, ‘I don’t know why I’m doing this. I’ve made such a mistake, and I’m so bad.’ She gave me a kick up the a**e and told me to get on with it, because I’m lucky to be on ‘Strictly’.”

Awkwafina believes men are intimidated by her

OHMYGOSSIP — Awkwafina believes men are nervous to date her because they worry she will write a song about them.
The 29-year-old rapper-and-actress – whose real name is Nora Lum – thinks that guys can be intimidated by her because they know she has a music career with which she can use to spill details on them if they were to have a relationship that ends.
In an interview with The I Paper, she said: “”It’s the voice … Maybe they think I’ll write a terrible song about them like Taylor Swift. If you get me angry enough I would.”
The ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ star rose to fame in 2012 after releasing her feminist track ‘My Vag’ – a response to Mickey Avalon’s ‘My D**k’ – on YouTube, and has since starred in several Hollywood films.
The ‘Ocean’s 8’ actress has revealed that with her newfound stardom comes with unexpected fringe benefits that she has to take care not to exploit.
She said: “I feel sexually powerful when I walk into a room of men and they fold, I have to be careful not to abuse that.”
Awkwafina is currently single and insists she has no desire to rush into a new relationship, because she is happy to sacrifice relationships for her career.
She said: “With our generation, we’re starting older. We’re not getting married as young. I think everyone hits an age where they start thinking about babies, but this industry complicates things. So it’s hard to know. I feel like maybe I’ve sacrificed friendships and maybe relationships, but I don’t see them as bad sacrifices. Every time I work, I’m proud of myself because I was never really passionate about anything growing up. So now I’m able to take my destiny into my own hands, I don’t care if I have no friends in the end, I want to be the best I can.”

Louisa Lytton’s EastEnders ‘shock’

OHMYGOSSIP — Louisa Lytton was “shocked” when she was asked to return to ‘EastEnders’.
The 29-year-old actress will reprise her role as Ruby Allen in the BBC One soap later this year after 12 years away from Albert Square, and she couldn’t believe it when executive consultant John Yorke approached her about heading back to Walford.
She said: “I haven’t been in the show for 12 years, so it was a bit shock.
“I got a phone call from John Yorke asking if I would like to come back, which was a great call to get – and obviously I said yes.”
The former ‘The Bill’ actress found it “really surreal” being backstage at ‘EastEnders’ after a 12-year break, and didn’t feel as though she’d been away from the programme.
She said: “It was really surreal, because I felt like I came into work and time had not passed.
“I saw the same people on the reception desk and at the security gate and all the cast and the costume and make-up teams. So many of the same faces, that it almost made me feel like I hadn’t left.”
Ruby was best friends with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) but the two characters fell out shortly before she departed Walford, but Louisa loved teaming up with the 30-year-old actress again.
She added to Inside Soap magazine: “It’s so funny – when Lacy and I met again, it was like we just saw each other yesterday.
“Hopefully that shows on screen, too. We get on so well and it’s so easy for us to work together because of that.
“So it was nice to just come to work and feel really comfortable with someone and catch up on and off screen.”
Louisa recently admitted she cannot wait to get stuck into some “brilliantly challenging storylines” upon her return.
She said: “‘EastEnders’ was my first acting job out of drama school and opened so many doors for me. It’s wonderful to be given the opportunity to come back and explore my character and I’m excited to see what’s in store for Ruby.
“We last saw her twelve years ago as a young girl and now she is returning as a woman with scope for major change and some brilliantly challenging storylines.”

Karlie Kloss follows ‘moral compass’ when it comes to romance

OHMYGOSSIP — Karlie Kloss follows her “own moral compass” when it comes to her romance with fiancé Josh Kushner.
The 26-year-old model got engaged to the businessman this summer after six years of dating, and she’s said she likes to keep things to herself when it comes to their relationship, because she’s not interested in what the public thinks.
She said: “At the end of the day, I’ve had to make decisions based on my own moral compass – forget what the public says, forget social media. I’ve chosen to be with the man I love despite the complications.”
The blonde beauty also slammed the idea that she feels forced to talk about her romance with Josh instead of her career, because she doesn’t believe she would face the same topics if she was a man.
Speaking to Vogue magazine, she said: “It’s frustrating, to be honest, that the spotlight is always shifted away from my career toward my relationship. I don’t think the same happens in conversations with men.”
Meanwhile, it was recently claimed Karlie and Josh would like to get hitched in less than 12 months’ time on the 33-year-old businessman’s farm in New Jersey.
A source said: “They’re planning to get married next spring or summer on his family farm in New Jersey.”
And, although Karlie wants the nuptials to be “romantic”, she doesn’t want it too flash.
The insider added: “They don’t want it to be stuffy at all. She wants things to be romantic and easy.”
Joshua proposed to the Kode with Klossy founder last month during a romantic getaway to New York, and the pair are “overjoyed” with the news.
An insider said at the time: “He proposed a few weeks ago during a romantic weekend together in upstate New York. They’re both overjoyed and happily celebrating. Their hearts are full and they’re excited to build their future together.”
Karlie then confirmed the news on her Instagram account a few weeks later.
She said: “I love you more than I have words to express. Josh, you’re my best friend and my soulmate. I can’t wait for forever together. Yes a million times over (sic)”

Jennifer Lawrence: Celebrities should be honest

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lawrence wants celebrities to be more “honest”.
The 28-year-old actress has called on her fellow A-list stars to be more open with their fans when it comes to their bodies, as she’s tired of people pretending their figures don’t require any work through diet and exercise.
She said: “I just like it when everyone’s honest. If you are 20 pounds underweight and talk about eating pizza and fried chicken all the time, that’s not going to make people feel good about themselves.
“If I’m going to the Oscars or having a movie premiere – I won’t lie – I’m probably eating differently from how I would in my regular life to fit into those dresses. And I feel comfortable saying that.”
The ‘Red Sparrow’ star doesn’t believe there’s anything wrong with looking after your body, as long as the things you do are for your own benefit.
She added: “You just have to keep it personal. If you want to feel beautiful, whether that means extending your eyelashes or bringing out your natural lip colour or whatever it is, then you should. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s only a problem when you’re doing it for someone else.”
Jennifer struggled with her own self confidence when she was younger, but now says she’s “starting to get a little more control” over the negative thoughts that pop into her head.
The ‘Passengers’ star said: “I’m starting to get a little more control over myself. Like, I’m aware that I have a tendency to say whatever pops into my mind. So when I go out, I try to be my own personal trainer and tell myself, ‘Don’t say it.'”
And the actress admits she feels the most beautiful when she’s “disciplined”, such as when she goes to the gym.
Speaking to InStyle magazine, she said: “Honestly, when I’m at my most disciplined. Like, when I’m really making myself go to the gym. Which is a joke, because I definitely pay more for canceled workouts than actual ones. But when I’m there and running on the treadmill, that’s when I feel most powerful.”

Milo – who stars in Disney Channel movie ‘Zombies’, and is the youngest competitor this year at just 17 years old – said of his pairing with Witney: “Once we started getting going, it was nothing like I ever imagined. It’s so much more difficult than I thought it would be.
“I’ll be dancing with her and thinking I’m doing a really good job, and then I’ll look back at the video and I just look terrible.”
‘Dancing with the Stars’ starts on September 24 on ABC.

Karen Blick took up ballroom dancing after Emmerdale inspiration

OHMYGOSSIP — Karen Blick has taken up ballroom dancing after being inspired by her ‘Emmerdale’ character.
The 44-year-old actress decided to take lessons in the dance genre after discovering her Dales alter-ego Lydia Hart used to be a ballroom dancer – and she has now advanced from beginner level to intermediate.
She said: “I have taken up ballroom dancing, through Lydia. I did classes for some of her scenes, and now I’ve graduated from the beginner class to the intermediate.
“I started to learn as it was Lydia’s backstory – she was a ballroom dancer 20-odd years ago.”
Karen is “really enjoying” exploring her character’s backstory off-screen, and has found a technique to look as though she is “pretty good” at some of the dances.
She said: “It’s really enjoyable. I love the quickstep, and if you get the kicks and flicks right in the jive, it looks as if you’re pretty good at it.”
When Karen isn’t throwing some salsa shapes on the dance floor, she can be found trying to get in a “sneaky run”, so that she can chow down on more cake.
She added to Inside Soap magazine: “I enjoy running, so I do that when I can. I did the London Marathon earlier this year, so I always attempt to sneak in a run on my days off.
“I usually run on the moors, or by the river. I never thought I’d be a runner, but I trained for a half-marathon four years ago, and built up from a quarter of a mile to 26.2 miles, which is incredible. I like running because then I can eat more cakes.”
Karen’s co-star James Hooton, who has played Sam Dingle on the ITV soap since 1995, recently admitted he is going through his most enjoyable spell on the show thanks to her.
He said: “I’ve gone through many years when I’ve not enjoyed the job as much as I might have done and it’s been a bit of a renaissance period for me as I’m enjoying the job more so than I ever have done.
“I think that’s in part down to working with Karen and what she brings to the table. We’ve got a lot of things in common.”

Jimmy Fallon’s wife thought he was having a stroke when he proposed

OHMYGOSSIP — Jimmy Fallon’s wife thought he was “having a stroke” when he proposed.
The 43-year-old talk show host popped the question to his now-wife Nancy Juvonen – with whom he has daughters Winnie, five, and Frances, three – over a decade ago, but has now admitted the event didn’t quite go according to his original plan.
Jimmy originally wanted to propose to Nancy during a trip to New York, but when the producer surprised him with a reservation at legendary restaurant Per Se, he had second thoughts.
He said: “I wanted it to be romantic and perfect. I didn’t want to propose in Per Se because what if one year it moves locations, and years later I’m going to have kids and go, ‘Your mom and I got [engaged here]. I know it’s a laser tag place but at one point it was a very fancy restaurant.’
“Cut to 14 courses later, I was bombed out of my mind. Wine came with every course … So I waited another three months.”
Eventually, the ‘Tonight Show’ host got his dream proposal whilst at Nancy’s parents’ summer home on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, but when he got down on one knee and started crying, Nancy thought he was suffering from a stroke.
He added: “I went out to the dock and said [to myself], ‘Don’t cry. Let her cry first’. I’m a pretty mushy guy … and I just wanted it to be perfect. I got down on one knee and I immediately [started weeping].
“She’s like, ‘Are you having a stroke?’ My face was like I was smelling burnt toast.”
But it all worked out for the star in the end, as Nancy – who produced his 2005 comedy movie ‘Fever Pitch’ – said yes to his proposal.
Speaking to People magazine for ‘The Jess Cagle Interview’, Jimmy said: “She said yes and we celebrated and it was fun. The rest is history.”
The couple tied the knot in December 2007.

Julianne Moore: Motherhood is challenging

OHMYGOSSIP — Julianne Moore finds motherhood “challenging”.
The 57-year-old actress has son Caleb, 20, and daughter Liv, 15, with her husband Bart Freundlich, and has said that whilst she isn’t afraid to be a tough mother to her brood, she does sometimes find herself doing their chores for them when she “probably shouldn’t”.
Speaking about parenting to Town & Country magazine, Julianne said: “I find it challenging. What are you going to get hung up about, the cleaning-their-rooms thing? [My daughter] Liv recently came back from being away a couple of weeks, and she needed to do her laundry. She said, ‘I need to do my laundry,’ and I said, ‘Okay, I’ll help you. I’ll put it in.’ Then, before I knew it, I’d done it all. Then Bart asked, ‘Why did you do her laundry?’ and I said I couldn’t help myself and I wanted to help her. But I probably shouldn’t have.”
Her comments come after she previously admitted that her marriage to the 48-year-old director – whom she tied the knot with in 2003 – hasn’t been “easy”, despite dubbing him as an “exceptional” man.
The ‘Boogie Nights’ actress said: “Bart is an exceptional man and a great father. He makes me feel very good about myself and my work and the way we have raised our children together.
“But that doesn’t mean it’s easy all the time.”
Though the ‘Wonderstruck’ actress admits their jobs can make things “more difficult” for their family unit, she’s also thankful they both have flexibility that means they have always been able to coordinate their projects to make sure at least one of them is around for their kids.
She added: “That can make it more difficult and that’s why I often choose projects where I don’t have to work very far from home or go away for three or four months.
“But there are also a lot of advantages in both of us working in the film business, because we have a lot more flexibility than we would if we both had office jobs, for example.
“We’ve rarely had situations where we have to work at the same time and we’ve arranged our schedules over the years so that one of us has always been home to look after our children.”

Travis Scott wants SPACE trademark

OHMYGOSSIP — Travis Scott is reportedly trying to launch a new brand, as he’s filed paperwork to trademark ‘S.P.A.C.E’.
The ‘Antidote’ hitmaker recently released his third studio album ‘Astroworld’, but now he’s set to take another giant leap in his career as it appears he’s filed paperwork for the rights to the brand name ‘S.P.A.C.E’ for commercial use.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, the 26-year-old star is looking to use the term as a label on a range of merchandise, along with the terms ‘S.P.A.C.E 1991’ and ‘S.P.A.C.E 2001’.
Travis is reportedly looking to produce branded clothing, cosmetics, jewellery, fragrances, non-alcoholic drinks and an online store for customers to browse and buy from.
The latest development comes weeks after the rapper launched some limited edition merchandise for just 24 hours, including ‘Astroworld’ hoodies, t-shirt, hats and more.
Travis’ new album topped the Billboard 200 chart, but his win was met with harsh words from fellow artist Nicki Minaj, who claimed her album ‘Queen’ deserved the top spot instead.
She said: “Why do people always say upset or angry? When someone says how they feel they’re not always upset or angry … I felt like I wanted to punch him in his f**king face.
“The thing is, it’s not anger, it’s what’s right and what’s wrong and what’s fair. I’ve had a number two album and I never cared.
“It’s just that when you have a number two album to someone who is selling shirts and merch and selling passes for a tour that isn’t announced yet, it feels like you’re being tricked.
“It feels like someone is playing a game and like beating you at a game opposed to just selling music. I want to sell music.
“He sold a lot of T-shirts and sweaters and tour passes, and we’re not going to have that.”

Kirstie Alley told Ryan Thomas to ‘run to CBB producers’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kirstie Alley told Ryan Thomas to “run” to talk to ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ producers after Roxanne Pallett accused him of punching her.
The 67-year-old actress has opened up about the incident – which the former ‘Emmerdale’ star has since apologised for, admitting she “got it wrong” – and revealed she gave him some advice in the aftermath.
Appearing on ITV’s ‘This Morning’, she said: “My only advice to Ryan was, ‘Get to the producers,’ because at that time I’d heard she’d gone to the producers and gone to her manager. I go, ‘You run, run, you gotta go in there and handle this now’.
“And Nick [Leeson] was a big help to Ryan, I think he was really the person who said, ‘This is far beyond the scope of just having a chat or something.’ ”
Kirstie added that she quickly realised the severity of the situation, and that Roxanne’s allegations could destroy Ryan’s career if he didn’t make his side of the story known.
She explained: “When I found out what her actual accusation was, I realised that that was a career-breaker, that was a career-destroyer.
“It became serious business, and I felt like it was out of my realm to handle.”
The former ‘Cheers’ star revealed it was “48 hours” before the other housemates realised what had happened, and Kirstie didn’t even know she was in the room at the time of the alleged incident until afterwards.
She said: “What I didn’t realise until yesterday was that I was even in the room.
“We were all jacking around like that, and that looks like he didn’t even make contact.”

Celebrity Big Brother saved Dan Osborne’s marriage

OHMYGOSSIP — Dan Osborne has admitted ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ saved his marriage.
The 27-year-old reality star came third in Monday night’s finale (10.09.18) and has revealed that his stint on the show made him realise what a “beautiful woman and great mum” Jacqueline Jossa, 25, is.
The pair – who share daughters Ella, three, and two-month-old Mia – married in 2017 but separated in May this year, but now the star has time to reflect on his faults, and he wants to move forward with their relationship.
Speaking to The Sun Online, Dan said: “It made me realise I was lucky and that she was a good girl.
“She’s a beautiful woman, great mum and I think it made me really have time to reflect on that. It made me appreciate her.
“My time in ‘Big Brother’ made me realise the things that I was doing wrong and how I was not helping my situation or my marriage.
“It’s made me realise my faults, no one is perfect. I am not going to say it’s made me a perfect person, but it definitely made me appreciate what I have.
“The show strips you back to nothing and you realise how lucky you are and how lucky I am to have my wife. It made me realise she ain’t as bad I was thinking … when she was moaning I was going out, and I was going out because she was moaning. It was like a vicious circle.”
Dan now wants to move forward with his family and is planning to take them on a holiday to Disneyland Paris, and on a luxurious beach vacation.
