Kris Jenner delivered granddaughter

OHMYGOSSIP — Kris Jenner delivered her granddaughter Stormi.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star couldn’t believe how well her daughter Kylie Jenner did when she gave birth to the little girl seven months ago.
In a sneak peek from Sunday’s episode of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’, she said: “She did really, really well. She just kept saying, ‘I just don’t feel any pain.’ You’d see these contractions like crazy and she would go, ‘I just am not feeling it.’ I’m like, ‘This is really weird!’ She was such a trooper. She really was. She was so calm. It was really exciting. I delivered the baby! I delivered her. I pulled her out.”
Kylie didn’t confirm her pregnancy until after she had given birth to Stormi.
She shared on Instagram at the time: “I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free and health way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.
“Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering and life changing experience I’ve had in my entire life and I’m actually going to miss it. I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could. My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and I just couldn’t wait to share this blessing. I’ve never felt love and happiness like this I could burst. Thank you for understanding.”

Joe Simpson ‘powered through’ cancer battle for his children

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Simpson “powered through” his cancer battle for his children.
The photographer was diagnosed with prostate cancer in September 2016 but was adamant to fight it off for the sake of his daughters, Jessica and Ashlee.
Speaking a clip from the upcoming episode of ‘ASHLEE+EVAN’, he said: “The biggest part is because I don’t have testosterone, I don’t have energy. So you just have to power through. A year ago changed my life. I remember saying to the doctor, what if I don’t have surgery. He said, ‘In six months you’ll be dead.’ You know, I really wrestled [with surgery and] with just saying, ‘I’ll see you guys later.’ I couldn’t do that to you and your sister, and to my little grandbabies.”
Earlier this month, Ashlee revealed Joe Simpson has been “doing good” following his battle with cancer and is “healthy” once again.
She said: “It’s such a blessing. He’s doing good now and feeling good, I’m so happy he’s healthy now.”
Whilst Evan added: “It was a really scary experience for Ashlee, for their whole family. So for me I was just trying to make sure I was there and paying attention to how everyone was feeling.”
Joe was declared as cancer free back in July, two years after diagnosis.
He said at the time: “I feel good. I beat it. I have zero cancer. I went from Stage IV to cancer-free.”
Joe had an operation and he was recovering well from it.
A source shared at the time: “He’s feeling great now and is optimistic. He’s felt so much love and support from his family and friends.”

Casey Affleck learned important lesson from #MeToo movement

OHMYGOSSIP — Casey Affleck has learned “important lessons” from the #MeToo movement.
The ‘Manchester By The Sea’ star – who faced two sexual harassment lawsuits in 2010 from women who worked with him on his film ‘I’m Still Here’, which he settled outside of court for an undisclosed amount that same year – has learned to be “open to as many other perspectives” as possible.
Speaking to Variety magazine, he said: “I mean, look, if you haven’t learned anything from all of this, then you really haven’t been paying attention, and that goes for everybody. It’s probably a conversation that deserves a little more time than standing on a red carpet. But I would say that one of the most important lessons is to try to remain as open as you can to other perspectives and to listen to other peoples experiences and, you know, take care of one another.”
In the wake of the rise of the movements, Casey stepped away from his role in presenting the Best Actress award at the 2018 Oscars, a role which has become traditional for the Best Actor winner of the previous year.
Some critics stated Casey should never have won his 2017 gong for ‘Manchester By The Sea’ in the first place, and screenwriter Kenneth Lonergan has also hit out at them for not knowing “what they’re talking about”.
He said: “People really don’t know what they are talking about, I’m afraid. And I’m afraid they are doing it in the name of a very good cause.”
Casey made his decision almost two months before the ceremony – which took place at Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center on March 4 – ad the Academy confirmed the news in a brief statement.
They said at the time: “We appreciate the decision to keep the focus on the show and on the great work of this year.”

John Legend’s daughter Luna starts preschool

OHMYGOSSIP — John Legend’s daughter Luna has started her preschool “journey”.
The ‘All Of Me’ hitmaker is really proud of his two-year-old daughter Luna for starting school and one of the first things she has learned is how to play with other kids.
He told E! News: “She’s just starting school, and she’s learning how to play with other kids she’s never met before. It’s a journey, you know.”
Meanwhile, John’s wife Chrissy Teigen – who also has Miles, four months, with the singer – previously revealed he is a “pushover” parent.
She said: “He will say no and then if [Luna] asks one more time, it’s a yes. He’s a bit of a pushover with Luna. I think it’s because they look so much alike and he’s like, ‘Okay, you beautiful being. Anything you want.’ He needs to learn to say no because I’m the tough guy. It’s always a thing in any household, there’s always one.
“He’s also insanely patient. He’s amazing at diaper changing still. He gives them so much attention no matter what’s going on in his life or my life or work-wise. They never feel like they’re like second to work and I think he’s really great with that.”
John had previously admitted he has been changed by fatherhood.
He said: “I think being a father helps me understand even more how fragile life can be sometimes and how much it’s imperative for us who have so many resources and so much power to try to make other kids’ lives better.
“Because we know we can afford for our kids to have proper health care, to have proper education, but there are so many kids in our country and around the world who don’t have that and I think this experience of fatherhood has made me double down on saying, we got to do what we can together to make this world better for our young people growing up.”

Carrie Underwood excited about new baby

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Underwood is “excited” about her upcoming arrival.
The ‘House That Built Me’ star can’t wait to add to her brood even though she is really busy promoting her latest album ‘Cry Pretty’.
A source told People magazine: “She is as excited about the baby as [her new music]. The machine that is Carrie is fully on. She’s in full album mode.”
Meanwhile, Carrie recently revealed she had endured three miscarriages in the last two years, and said she was left feeling “angry” by the ordeal.
She said: “I had always been afraid to be angry. Because we are so blessed. And my son, Isaiah, is the sweetest thing. And he’s the best thing in the world. And I’m like, ‘If we can never have any other kids, that’s okay, because he’s amazing.’ And I have this amazing life. Like, really, what can I complain about? I can’t. I have an incredible husband, incredible friends, an incredible job, an incredible kid. Can I be mad? No. [But after the miscarriages,] I got mad. [I thought], ‘Why on Earth do I keep getting pregnant if I can’t have a kid?’ Like, what is this? Shut the door. Like, do something. Either shut the door or let me have a kid.”
Carrie’s three-year-old son Isaiah is already bonding with his unborn sibling.
When asked if Isaiah is aware he’s about to become a big brother, Carrie shared: “I don’t think for real he does. He’ll be really sweet and talk to my belly and kiss my belly. He’s the sweetest little boy. I mean, no kid can really know that their life is going to change. He’ll just have to share mommy.”

Kelly Rowland: My son makes me confident

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Rowland’s son makes her feel “confident”.
The ‘Kisses Down Low’ hitmaker feels grateful to have her three-year-old son Titan Jewell in her life and she feels blessed that he came into her life just at the right time.
She told People magazine: “My son makes me feel confident. He’s just amazing. I’m like, ‘I did that right.’ He came at the most interesting time of my life and I had no choice but to be strong. I want him to be better than me, it’s just that simple. So I always like to make sure I’m doing right by him.”
Meanwhile, Kelly previously confessed having a baby brought her and husband Tim closer.
She said: “It actually brought us closer. In some ways, we had to figure it out together, and we did. He was just so supportive, he always asked me if I needed help and he always tried to figure out a way to just be there to comfort me and I’m so grateful to him for that. You know, that six-week period [after childbirth] feels like forever, and as a gentleman – [Tim’s] very gentle, so he wanted to give me a little more space. I’m like, ‘No, let’s go!’ I’m still a mom and it doesn’t matter … I’m a woman and I have physical needs.
“I think that it has to be a conscious thing that you want to do. Before the baby comes, just have a list of things that you want to promise each other. Whether it’s, ‘You do this on Fridays,’ or ‘We have date nights on this day,’ ‘Let’s make sure we can do vacation, just me and you.’ It’s just certain things like promises that you make between each other. I actually learned that from Dr. Bickman because her and her husband have Friday nights, every Friday night, just them two together. She said they can be at a restaurant and they don’t have to say anything, but it’s just the time that they have together. It’s such a great goal to have.”

Karlie Kloss’ wedding look inspired by Meghan Markle

OHMYGOSSIP — Karlie Kloss’s wedding look is inspired by Meghan Markle.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel “glam plan” for her big day will be inspired by the Duchess of Sussex, who tied the knot with Prince Harry earlier this year.
Asked if anyone in particular was a source of inspiration before her wedding day, she told Refinery 29: “Meghan Markle. She looked gorgeous on her wedding day. I feel it’s a day that you want to just feel happy, beautiful, and not stressed. I think what makes someone most beautiful, especially on their wedding day, is when that glow comes from the inside.
“I’m still kind of enjoying the engagement bliss, but I’m definitely somebody who opts for ‘less is more’ when it comes to beauty. I love a strong lip or a strong eye, but I would want to keep it more natural. For hair, an updo is pretty logical. Get it out the way, so you can dance and have a good time.”
Karlie and her long time beau Joshua Kushner are reportedly planning to get married next year.
A source said: “They want their wedding to be an understated affair. They’re planning to get married next spring or summer on his family farm in New Jersey. They don’t want it to be stuffy at all. She wants things to be romantic and easy.”
Karlie and Joshua have remained mostly private about their romance since they began dating in 2012, but the model previously revealed she was “definitely not planning on falling in love” with him and that she feels love is best when it is spontaneous as it is one of those things that you “can’t anticipate or plan”.
She explained: “I was definitely not planning on falling in love. But I think that’s the thing about it, you can’t anticipate or plan it.”

Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma in no rush to marry

OHMYGOSSIP — Hilary Duff isn’t in “any rush” to marry Matthew Koma.
The couple are expecting a baby girl together but – whilst they do want to tie the knot one day – they aren’t making it their top priority.
A source told E! News: “They already feel married and don’t feel they need a signed document to seal the deal. They eventually do want to get married and have a ceremony but for now, are focused on their baby girl coming. Everyone gets along great and it has been a smooth transition. Luca has been overly excited since day one of this pregnancy and is starting to understand more of what is about to come. He is very anxious for his baby sister to come and is always talking about her. Hilary is so excited to welcome a girl into the family and knows how great of a dad Matthew going to be. He already calls the baby his ‘little princess’ and Hilary has fallen in love with him even more during this process.”
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty previously confessed she is a “little over” being pregnant.
She said: “Honestly, I feel really good and I am a little over it at this point where I am like, ‘Cool, I’m ready, when is it happening?’ But it is awesome to have another kid to focus on because you’re not constantly focusing on every little ache and pain you feel or anything that happens. I am not on Google right away like I was the first time around. I know what is going on.”

Mindy Kaling’s work home balance

OHMYGOSSIP — Mindy Kaling feels lucky to be able to create her own work schedule to fit around motherhood.
The ‘Mindy Project’ star says she is blessed to be able to shift her own workload to fit around her nine-month-old daughter Katherine Swati.
She said: “I’m creating my own opportunities. And when I do that, my baby comes to work a couple times a week, and I live 15 minutes away from [work], and I create our schedule, so if I need to take her to the doctor I can. I know that’s not the case for everybody else, and I feel really lucky, but yeah, that’s my life right now.”
And the 39-year-old actress, comedian and writer wants to encourage acceptance of women being able to bring their children to work.
She added to People magazine: “You see all these photos of writers and you’re like, ‘Oh, there’s nobody with gray hair or anyone older than 40.’ And I’m 39, so that’s frightening, especially when you have a baby. But what I’ve been noticing more and more is that there are more working women. And the writers’ room … is one of the most ageist places ever.
“There’s more mature people working on shows. I think that’s gonna be the next big push, actually, is making places so you can be a mom, have your kids, bring your kids to work if you need to. That’s what Tracey Wigfield and I are doing on our new show. But I think it’s a tiny bit sexist as well, and people are worried that because you have kids you won’t be able to pay more attention. Any mother will tell you it makes you so razor-sharp focused on your career because you’re so worried about money.”

Alexandra Shipp says ‘colourism’ is prevalent in Hollywood

OHMYGOSSIP — Alexandra Shipp believes “colourism” is still prevalent in Hollywood.
The ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ actress insists it is a “real thing” that directors feel more comfortable offering her a lead role than they would a darker-skinned actress, and she finds people are not afraid to ask her “offensive” questions because she’s mixed race, but she wants to use her position to “educate” others.
She told Elle magazine: “In this industry, there’s a reality when it comes to colourism. I know that a studio or director is going to feel more comfortable with me in a lead black female role than they would with someone of a darker complexion. That’s a real thing.
“So with this Afrocentricity we’re now seeing in film, we’re getting a chance to show more representation. I am not every shade of black. I can’t play every shade – I haven’t had the same experiences as every person.
“And being biracial, I walk this strange grey area that makes people comfortable asking me questions they don’t think are offensive, even though half the time they are. Most people are afraid to ask a dark woman about her hair, but they’re not afraid to ask me. It’s weird, but it’s something I think I can use to educate people.”
When she was growing up, the 27-year-old star was inspired by the likes of Eartha Kitt in ‘Boomerang’ and Dorothy Dandridge in ‘Carmen Jones’.
She said: “These powerful women gave me a feeling I could be strong like them. I wanted to play a knight in ‘Camelot’ rather than one of the handmaids. I wanted to play Othello.
“Those women did that. They were fearless, they were also brown and looked like me. Even in a supportive role, they stole the show.”
And these days, Alexandra is happy to talk “about the hard stuff” after observing the likes of her ‘A Dog’s Way Home’ co-star Ashley Judd.
She said: “I think it took a generation saying, ‘You shouldn’t have to deal with the same kind of crap that we did. I learned a lot from Ashley. She has a calm power about her that I’d like to find in myself.”

Jorja Smith gets ‘best advice’ from Stormzy

OHMYGOSSIP — Jorja Smith gets “the best advice” from Stormzy.
The 21-year-old singer admits she always thinks about what he told her when they worked on their duet ‘Let Me Down’ when she thinks about her career and tries to enjoy it as much as possible.
She told Elle magazine: “Stormzy gives the best advice.
“We wrote ‘Let Me Down’ in 2016 and he said, ‘As long as you love what you’re doing, that’s all that matters.’ So that’s how I look at things now.”
The ‘Blue Lights’ singer also looks to her musician father when she needs help or advice with her music.
She added: “My dad used to be in a band, so I always keep him in the loop. He gives me ideas and even has credits on my songs.
“At the end of ‘Teenage Fantasy’, when it says, ‘There’s no need to rush, take your time, life’s a big ol’ ride, sit back and enjoy the vibe’ – that was my dad.”
Jorja has always been a big fan of the late singer Amy Winehouse and the ‘Back to Black’ hitmaker still features in her dreams.
She revealed: “I have dreams about Amy Winehouse. I’ve always looked up to her as an artist. Growing up, I didn’t read the newspaper or watch the news, so my image of her was never tainted by the media.
“I had a dream where she messaged me to say, ‘Can I put the video of you and me on my Instagram?’ I don’t know what the video was of, but I just replied, ‘Oh my God, yes.’ ”
The ‘Beauty For Little Fools’ singer thinks it is important for her music to carry a message.
She said: “My songs are about social issues. When things are going on in the world, I think it’s important to touch on them, because as a musician, you can make people listen. As soon as people press play, you’ve got their attention.”

Ferne McCann looking for love on the tube

OHMYGOSSIP — Ferne McCann has started taking public transport in a bid to find a boyfriend.
The former ‘Only Way is Essex’ star – who has 10-month-old daughter Sunday with former partner Arthur Collins – is taking a “proactive” approach to finding love and doing what she can to boost her chances of finding someone new.
She said: “I’ve been giving dating a go – but it would have to be a patient man to slot into my life.
“I’ve texted a few guys and given a few things a go – I love a flirt.
“I’m being proactive and making an effort to take the tube rather than get cabs because you never meet anyone in a taxi.
“So I’ve been taking the tube, hoping for that whole ‘Sliding Doors’ thing. I could meet my Mr. Right then.”
But the 27-year-old star won’t be considering online dating after having a bad experience with dating apps when her six-year relationship with Charlie Sims ended in 2015.
She said: “I won’t do a dating app again because when Charlie and I split up, I was on Tinder and people were screen-shotting my profile and sharing it.
“I want to meet someone organically and in real life, rather than online.”
Ferne is very “proud” of herself and the way she’s changed over the last year.
She told Closer magazine: “It makes me emotional thinking back to a year ago when I was pregnant, I’ve completely changed.
“I’ve grown as a person so much. I feel like I’ve become more aware of everything and I’m proud of myself, as a mum and as a person.
“If I could talk to myself a year ago, I’d tell myself to stop worrying and remind myself that everything gets better with time. Life is good right now.”

Dustin Lance Black wants team of kids

OHMYGOSSIP — Dustin Lance Black wants “a football team” of children.
The 44-year-old screenwriter and his husband Tom Daley welcomed son Robbie into the world via a surrogate in June and he’s already planning way ahead to the future and wants a whole “family band” of kids.
Asked if they’re thinking about more kids, he said: “I’m already on baby number 12! Baby two is already raised and in college in my mind…”
Tom said: “He wants a football team – with a reserve.”
And Lance added: “Or a family band! Like the Brady Bunch.”
But the 24-year-old diver isn’t thinking so far ahead.
He said: “Before you become parents, you do think about the future and how many you’d want to have. But now we have a nine-week-old baby, it’s like, ‘Let’s see how it goes with Robbie…’ ”
The couple have decided against hiring a nanny but admit it’s much easier for the ‘Milk’ writer to fit his work schedule around their son than it is for Tom.
Tom said: “Luckily Lance is a filmmaker – my office isn’t as portable as his.
“I don’t have a diving pool in the garden, so Lance often has Robbie sitting next to him while he works at home.
“I’m back in training now – I’ll be up at 6am, probably feed Robbie, go train, then come back at 4.30pm and take that shift while Lance carries on working.”
And Lance is glad to have the baby by his side while he’s working.
He told heat radio: “I’m really lucky, I’m mostly just sitting at my laptop and Robbie is great as a writing partner.
“He doesn’t give me any criticism.”

Lily Allen claims she had sex with father’s friend at 14

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Allen claims she had sex with a friend of her father’s when she was just 14.
The 33-year-old singer says she met the unnamed 19-year-old celebrity at a charity football match he played with her dad, Keith Allen, before he bought her drinks and had sex with her and she was horrified when her father and his pals treated it as a joke.
She writes in her new book ‘My Thoughts Exactly’: “After the match, the TV star left his football gear in my dad’s car, and I was dispatched to his hotel to return it.
“We arranged to meet in the bar there. He bought me a couple of drinks, then took me up to his room and had sex with me. I was 14. He was 19, but to me he seemed like someone from a different generation.
“Afterwards, I felt funny about it. I knew what had happened wasn’t right.
“My dad turned it into a shtick with his friends. They made up elaborate schemes to blackmail the guy and they rehearsed how they’d call him up and put the s**ts up him. I just know that my dad turned me having sex with this guy I hardly knew into a joke between him and his mates. That didn’t make me feel good.”
Meanwhile, Lily recently admitted her father has been unhappy with some of the shock claims she has made in her book, including the allegation that he suffered a cocaine-induced heart attack at Glastonbury when Lily was 13.
After hearing about the claims, Keith texted his daughter to furiously deny his collapse was due to drugs.
Speaking on the ‘Jonathan Ross Show’, Lily said: “I got quite a cross text from him this weekend.
“He texted me, ‘Er, cocaine-induced heart attack at Glastonbury. Wow’. And I said, ‘Sorry, that’s what I thought. I’m really sorry if I got that wrong but that’s how I remembered it and you never explained it to me any other way’.
“And he said, ‘Well, that’s not true’.
“I said, ‘I’m really, really sorry if I got that wrong. What was it?’ And he said, ‘Acute food poisoning’.”

Boyzone have no relationship with Louis Walsh

OHMYGOSSIP — Boyzone no longer have any relationship with Louis Walsh.
Although the former ‘X Factor’ judge launched the boy band and went on to manage lead singer Ronan Keating’s solo career, the quartet no longer speak to him after he slagged them off in the press.
Ronan told the Dan Wootton Interview podcast: “I don’t have any relationship with Louis. But I don’t think Boyzone would be here today if it wasn’t for the fight that Louis put up for us when everybody else in Ireland laughed and said there won’t be an Irish boyband.
“We owe Louis that and I will always, always give him that.”
And Ronan – who is in the band with Shane Lynch, Keith Duffy and Mikey Graham – admitted he has been left puzzled by Louis’ two-faced behaviour.
He said: “I don’t really want to get into a slanging match because we’ve done all of that. One day Louis is your best friend and the next he doesn’t know you. You never know what version of Louis you’re going to get. You take it all with a pinch of salt. I wish him the best.”
Shane added that he finds Louis “unpredictable”.
He said: “He is a character, he’s unpredictable. He’ll come out with some crazy stuff -  totally unpredictable. You can meet him for lunch one day and have four hours of gossip and great fun and the next day he’s in the papers slagging you off.”
The Irish boy band will bring out their seventh and last LP ‘Thank You & Goodnight’ this November and then are heading out on a farewell tour that starts in January 2019 and the final album features the vocals of their late bandmate Stephen Gateley.
The group reworked one of Stephen’s unreleased solo songs, ‘I Can Dream’, as a tribute to their friend – who tragically died in October 2009 at the age of 33.
Shane recently said: “Do you know I think when it comes to this being our final album, it’s amazing to be able to wrap it up with Stephen on there too. I think that was important for us. But it came to us. It actually dropped on our laps as a producer got in touch with us guys, or the record company, saying they have this stuff. He was moving his studio and he goes ‘I’ve got Stephen’s vocals on this record from ’03 or ’02. Do you guys want it?’ And as it so happens we were making an album and we said ‘100 per cent, we’d love to have it.’ ”
