Carrie Underwood receives Walk of Fame star

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Underwood thanked her husband for “believing in her” as she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (20.09.18).
The 35-year-old singer teared up as she gave a moving speech whilst receiving the coveted honour, in which she thanked her husband Mike Fisher, as well as their three-year-old son Isaiah, for helping to “support” her through her successful music career.
Speaking about her beginnings as a contestant on ‘American Idol’ in 2005, Carrie – who is currently expecting her second child with Mike – said: “How is this my life? How does a girl from Checotah, Oklahoma, get a star on the Walk of Fame? I will tell you: belief. So many people who have believed in me.
“As I got a little older and reality set in, you just don’t know, ‘Is this possible?’ So I try out for ‘American Idol’ and there was belief. Judges who believed in me from the beginning and people who voted for me that believed in me the whole way through.
“I met an incredible man, Mike, who thinks I’m so much better than I actually am. Thank you for believing in me as a human, as a wife, as a mom, and supporting me through all of this. He believes in me and we had another little man who believes in me too. Isaiah Michael, I love you so much. You’re the best thing we ever did. I love you and I believe you.”
During the ceremony, ‘American Idol’ creator Simon Cowell also gave a lengthy speech in which he praised the ‘Cry Pretty’ singer for her “impact” on the talent show.
In part of his speech, he said: “You had such an impact on the show, and had so many people come up to me and say ‘I would like a tenth of the success Carrie has.’ I actually couldn’t be more proud of you for presenting you this and you did it your way. I am so happy for you and I’m thrilled to be saying this. I love you and you are a total, total star.”
And fellow country star Brad Paisley – with whom she co-hosts the CMA Awards – dubbed her as “Ms. Country Music”.
He said: “Carrie Underwood, is in many ways, this generation’s Dolly Parton as Ms. Country Music. I don’t think we could ask for a better ambassador. I don’t think there’s anything she can’t do.”

Kristen Bell: I feel like I disappoint my mom

OHMYGOSSIP — Kristen Bell feels like she’s “disappointing” her mother by not following the same religious beliefs as her.
The 38-year-old actress has admitted that her relationship with her mother Lorelei Bell involves “a lot of turbulence”, and says that after Lorelei became a “born again Christian”, Kristen has found it difficult to bond with her because she doesn’t subscribe to a particular faith herself.
She said: “We’re very, very different people in the way we see the world but we’re very similar in the way we handle things and that is an explosive combination.
“I think it’s hard for her to digest [that I’m not religious], and I don’t really like to talk about it a lot because when I’m talking about it all I feel is that I’m disappointing my mother, which is an awful feeling.
“Also, she lives in Michigan and there’s a different bubble out there than there is in California. I’m a lot more open about very taboo subjects in general. I think that is just different to her.”
The ‘Frozen’ star also believes her mother is “upset” that she and her husband Dax Shepard didn’t take their brood – daughters Lincoln, five, and Delta, three – to be baptised when they were born.
Kristen added: “I don’t know this, but from my perspective, I believe she was upset we didn’t baptise our kids. From my perspective, I was like, ‘Let me tell you something. My child is not going to heaven or having an afterlife based on some man pouring water over her head.'”
Despite not seeing eye to eye when it comes to religion, Kristen would never judge her mother for her beliefs.
Speaking on the ‘WTF with Marc Maron’ podcast, the ‘Good Place’ actress said: “It’s something that makes her feel very safe and very loved. It’s an idea of practiced behaviour that is good for her. I am not in need of that same thing. I feel like I have a good barometer of being more of a humanist, a good barometer of good and bad and how my conduct should be toward other people.”

Riz Ahmed rapped his way to freedom

OHMYGOSSIP — Riz Ahmed once rapped his way to freedom.
The 35-year-old actor – who is also known for his political rap music – has revealed he managed to escape a precarious situation using his musical talents after being arrested for trespassing onto a military base in Pakistan.
He recalled: “When I told them I was a rapper, they go, ‘Alright, show us what you got.’
“I basically had to rap for my freedom in Karaji to be released by military intelligence. I did it freestyle. There was a good pun in there about dropping bars. Once I rapped for them, they were like, ‘You can go.'”
Riz was born in London but has Pakistani parents, and he’s admitted that, at times, he’s struggled to fit in with either society.
Speaking on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, the ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ actor shared: “My heritage is Pakistani, it’s very much part of my culture.
“When I was growing up here I was sometimes made to feel like I wasn’t really British or didn’t really fit in. I went back when I was 15 and I thought, ‘I’m really going to fit in here!’ I went there and I was like, ‘I do not fit in here.’
“It’s because I’m a Londoner. It was more the fact that I was stuck on the toilet for 23 hours a day. It’s hard to make friends from that.”
Riz also admitted that his last appearance on the UK chat show in 2016 was a life-changing experience, saying his dad now looks at his career in a totally different light.
He said: “Last time I was here you were like, ‘What does your dad think of your career?’ I told you a little anecdote about how he came up to me after I did my first big American film and he said to me, ‘You know it’s not too late to become a banker.’
“Since I told that story on this show, his attitude has completely changed. It’s not because of my career – it’s because he got a shout out on this show!”
‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ airs on Saturday (22.09.18) at 9.50pm on ITV.

Robert Redford regrets announcing retirement

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Redford thinks announcing his retirement was a “mistake”.
The 82-year-old screen legend recently confirmed ‘The Old Man and the Gun’ – a comedy drama about “gentleman” bank robber Forrest Tucker, who escaped from prison 18 times and was still committing crimes in his seventies – will be his final work as an actor but he now wishes he had simply “slipped away” quietly.
He told ‘Extra’: “I think that was a mistake that I ever brought that up, that’s something you can’t talk about it, you just slip away from…You can slip away from that, it’s been a long career, I am very proud of it, but I shouldn’t have mentioned that.”
But the ‘Sting’ actor isn’t stepping away from Hollywood entirely as he’s going to be producing and directing, and confirmed he’ll next be getting behind the camera for a movie adaptation of ‘109 East Palace’.
The veteran actor recently admitted ‘The Old Man and the Gun’ was the “right” movie to end his career on because it’s an uplifting story.
He said: “This feels like the right film to go out on as an actor because the film I had done before that – ‘Our Souls At Night’ – I was very proud of but it was very serious, kind of a heavy lift, a dramatic love story with Jane Fonda. It was a wonderful film to work on but it was very sad so I wanted the last film I act in to be uplifting.
“It’s an incredible, bizarre story because it’s true. This guy really did exist, he really did rob banks, he really had a good time, he never hurt anybody, he was always smiling, enjoying it, getting put in prison, escaping from prison, getting put back in prison, escaping again. Back and forth, back and forth.”

Kelly Clarkson practises her interviewing skills with Seth Meyers

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Clarkson practised her interviewing skills on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’ on Thursday (20.09.18).
The 36-year-old singer recently announced she’s launching her own talk show and the ‘Behind These Hazel Eyes’ hitmaker has wasted no time preparing for her new role, grilling the host on the worst guest he’s ever had on his programme.
Seth replied: “That’s a great question, and I’ll tell you backstage.
“But I can tell you from someone who hosts a show like this, I am smart enough not to say that name on-air. You don’t want to poison the well.”
The ‘Stronger’ hitmaker then adopted a more serious tone and asked Seth whether he’d ever run for political office and if he thinks celebrities should.
The TV star responded: “My honest answer about this is … I love Americans, I really do. I think we’re a terrible group of people to govern.
“I think we’re impossible. It’s a giant junior high where we’re dead split on the middle as far as what we agree on it. Yeah, it just seems like a real pain in the ass.”
Earlier this week, Kelly confirmed reports she’s already shot a pilot for her own daytime programme and plans to use her upcoming tour to prepare for her new role.
Kelly told Jimmy Fallon: “We’re doing a live segment during my show, so every night on tour we’re going live online … I’ve got a lot of jobs, Jimmy!”
Kelly’s programme will air before ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, and she has promised it will be “a little different” to anything that’s been shown on TV before.
She said: “We sing every day on the show and do this fan request thing. It’s fun. In the pilot, I got people to sing with me and do little skits. It’s very musical; it would be weird if it wasn’t!”

Alicia Silverstone wants another baby

OHMYGOSSIP — Alicia Silverstone is exploring options to have another child.
The 41-year-old actress – who has son Bear, seven, with estranged husband Christopher Jarecki – is currently single but would love to have a baby and could even look to her former partner to help her realise her dream.
She told Working Mother magazine: “I’ve always wanted another kid. But I also wanted to space them out because I love being with Bear. I have always dreamed of having a little girl, but of course I wanted another little Bear too.
“So whatever happens, if it happens, is good by me. I’m not in a relationship, but there are other ways to make babies.’ ”
And the publication noted: “Not off the table: asking Bear’s dad for an assist.”
The ‘Clueless’ star tries to keep her dating life separate from her son but she has discussed with him the possibility of her or his father finding a new partner.
She said: “He doesn’t have any idea that I’ve ever been on a date. I have talked to him about how one day Mommy and Daddy might want to find another person to be with. That was hard.
“We had a really deep conversation about it, where I was just preparing him in case I did find a boyfriend.
“But I just wanted to check in on him to see how he was doing.
“I would say, ‘Mommy and Daddy like to live separately.’ ”
The ‘American Woman’ actress thinks her attachment parenting approach when her son was a baby has helped him become so “fiercely independent” now.
She said: “Because he felt so safe and loved, and was so attached, he is now fiercely independent. And that’s another reason I want to have a baby: Bear doesn’t need me!
“I mean, of course he needs me, but he’s so free. He’s always talking to people, asking if he could help them. He buses tables at restaurants. He hands things out and takes the trash back on airplanes.”
Alicia still shared a bed with Bear, but doesn’t always get the best night’s sleep.
She said: “I mean, I have to put the pillows between us. And I sometimes used to kick him to the mattress we kept on the floor.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Sugg’s “stomach sinks” when he thinks about his first dance on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 27-year-old YouTuber will make his debut on the BBC dancing show on Saturday (22.09.18) and although the vlogger is nervous about his first 80s style Jive he thinks fans will enjoy his first appearance.
In an interview with the Telegraph newspaper, he said: “My stomach sinks when I think about Saturday’s first live show. I’m dancing a Jive to ‘Take On Me’ by A-ha.
“My guilty pleasure is Eighties music. I’m definitely going to have a pair of sunglasses, and there’s two parts in the dance that I think people are going to love.”
The internet star revealed that his partner Dianne Buswell has been offering words of encouragement and even praised his long neck, which has caught the attention of fans on social media.
He said: “My pro partner Dianne says that I’ve got a good ear for music and my rhythm is getting better.
“She also pointed out that I have a long neck, which is good for ballroom, the style I’m most looking forward to. There’s already five Twitter accounts called Support Joe’s Neck, which shows what my fan base is like!”
Although Joe has a huge group of younger admirers, he admitted he was prepared for the older generation to be more unfamiliar with his work.
He said: “I was prepared for the “who’s he?” backlash when they announced the line-up. But I do appreciate that there’s a whole generation who don’t know who I am.
“There will, however, be youngsters in their families that do. And that’s the reason I’m doing ‘Strictly’. If I can help to bring families together on a Saturday night, that’s a massive win in my book.”

J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival assists with Hurricane Florence relief

OHMYGOSSIP — J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival has setup a relief support team to help assist with families affected by Hurricane Florence.
The 33-year-old rapper was set to play the inaugural festival in Fayetteville, North Carolina, last weekend, but the event was axed as the category 4 storm wrecked havoc on the city days before.
Now his foundation has setup a website, which is accepting donations, providing a place for people to go and get a hot meal and help in finding temporary housing.
The website reads: “Hurricane Florence has made a devastating impact on the community in Fayetteville, NC, leaving many families displaced, damages to their homes with limited resources and without daily necessities.
“The Dreamville Foundation is looking to lend a helping hand to the community, children, and families affected by Hurricane Florence. There will be hot food stations placed throughout the city, temporary housing options for families, and stocking of food pantries/shelters. As well as supporting other local non profits who help provide services for the people in Fayetteville.
The Dreamville Foundation mission is to inspire, empower and encourage the urban youth. Your efforts/donations will help ensure there are no barriers to success for the youth and families in Fayetteville.”
Announcing he was calling the festival off due to concerns about fan safety, the ‘Crooked Smile’ hitmaker tweeted at the time: “Mannn. Due to this Hurricane heading to NC, we have to cancel Dreamville Festival.
“We’re working to get another date, but right now safety is most important. I appreciate everybody that was headed to rock with us. 30,000 + were expected. All tickets will be refunded. Bsafe. (sic)”
The artist was set to headline with Big Sean, SZA, Young Thug and Nelly among artists on the line-up.
In a statement, the festival’s organisers said: “Due to safety concerns regarding dangerous weather, we are extremely saddened to announce today that the inaugural Dreamville Festival 2018 is being cancelled.
“Our team has been working tirelessly with officials from the City of Raleigh, along with our State and Federal Partners, among others, to monitor the potential negative impact of Hurricane Florence.
“With the current weather-related information at hand, we have together decided to cancel this year’s event for the ultimate safety of both the local citizens and festival attendees.”
The storm was made a category 4 hurricane on September 10 by the National Hurricane Center after gaining 140 mph winds and the death toll has risen to over 40 as locals attempt to rebuild their lives.

Matty Healy kicked drug habit through horse therapy

OHMYGOSSIP — Matty Healy kicked his drug addiction through horse therapy.
The 1975 frontman has revealed that he completed what is called equine therapy, where the patient carries out activities with a four-legged mammal to improve mental health, and though he was “cynical” about the idea at first it worked wonders for his mind.
In an interview with NME.com, he explained: “One of my therapists there asked did I want to do equine therapy.
“And I thought, because I’m a very cynical English person who doesn’t believe in energy and vibes and is a sceptic at heart, I thought, f***ing hell, what am I going to do? Stand next to a horse for two weeks?
“So I’m stood there, and the first day, to be honest, I am stood next to a horse, and I’m thinking, ‘What a f***ing d***head I am, stood with a horse thinking that I’m going to have a profound moment’.
“Then three days in, my therapist takes me into this round pen and tells me, ‘Breathe,’ shows me this thing where I’m spinning a rope near the horse, and he basically teaches me how to get the horse to trust me in about five minutes.
“And when it happened, and the horse came up to me and put his thing next to me, and he was just with me for the whole day, feeling safer with me than not, it was the most profound experience I’ve ever had, because I just got it.
“In that time, and probably if I went back now, I cared a million times more in a human way about the approval of that horse than I did anybody else.”
The ‘Ugh’ singer – who has been open about his heroin addiction – came to find that the horse had a lot of compassion for him and was “understanding” of his “fragility”, and even started to “envy” the “human qualities” the animal had that he doesn’t think he posses.
He recalled: “I thought, hold on, this thing wants to be with me.
“He has the ability to destroy whatever he wants and the desire to hurt nothing.
“He’s so strong, so independent, so graceful, so elegant, so generous with his time, so understanding of my fragility … there were so many human qualities that I envied in this horse.
“I’m not as good with other people as he is; I’m not as strong as he is, I’m not as forgiving as he is, I’m not as elegant as he is.”
He joked: “And he had great hair. I mean, you can get a mangy horse, but Favor was good looking.”
The experience had such a profound effect on the 29-year-old singer that he considered moving to the country and getting his own equine friend.
He said: “Oh man. I was on a massive horse kick when I got back, I was like, ‘I’m moving to the country! I’m getting a horse!’ Then our manager was like, ‘You’ve got an interview,’ and I was like, ‘OK. Maybe later.”

Geena Davis’ ex hits back

OHMYGOSSIP — Geena Davis’ estranged husband has slammed her claim they were never married.
The ‘League of Their Own’ actress split from fourth husband Reza Jarrahy in May after 16 years of marriage, but she recently filed documents asking for his divorce petition to be dismissed because their union was never official, but he has now hit back and insisted they were legally wed.
Reza – who has daughter Alizeh, 16, and 13-year-old twin sons Kaiis and Kian with the actress – has filed a motion to dismiss her request and included pictures from their big day in 2001 to back up his insistence they were married.
Geena had argued the union wasn’t legal because they never obtained a marriage license and filed separate taxes every year, and though her estranged spouse agreed that was the case, he claimed it was part of “a financial strategy orchestrated by Geena and her business manager.”
The documents stated the doctor was told that “identifying as ‘not married’ would benefit Geena’s tax burden” and that his taxes were done by them.
He added in the paperwork: “Did she lie to everyone when she told them we were married? I certainly intended to marry, and believed I was marrying Geena and our early history together and Geena’s own statements in interviews she gave to the press supports that this was her intention as well. Any suggestion that we had no intention of getting legally married is absolutely untrue!”
He went on to describe how they met and became engaged, recalling how the four-carat Harry Winston ring he bought the ‘Beetlejuice’ star cost double his yearly salary as a young medic and took him 10 years to pay off, and accused the 62-year-old actress’ own publicist of leaking news of their engagement at the time.
Reza explained they didn’t get a marriage license because Geena didn’t want the media to find out about their wedding day and she feared the application would tip off the press.
As well as submitting photographic proof of the wedding, the doctor explained the ceremony was officiated by both a priest and his own father so it could be validated under Islamic laws and traditions for his family who immigrated from Iran, and his dad also filed documents outlining his involvement.
Reza added: “Geena and I left the alter as husband and wife.”
And his legal team pointed out that under New York law, a marriage license isn’t needed to be married, but it is solemnised when the parties solemnly declare in the presence of a clergyman or magistrate and the attending of witness or witnesses that they take each other as husband and wife.

Heath Ledger’s parents to meet Michelle Williams’ husband

OHMYGOSSIP — Heath Ledger’s parents are going to meet Michelle Williams’ new husband.
The ‘My Week With Marilyn’ actress wed Phil Elverum in a secret ceremony in June and Kim and Sally Ledger – whose son tragically died from an accidental overdose 10 years ago – are looking forward to catching up with the couple when they visit their 12-year-old granddaughter in New York soon.
Kim told Us Weekly magazine: “We’re going to see [Matilda] in New York next week. So we’ll be there a few days and see how she’s grown. She seems to have grown pretty tall.
“[Michelle is] very private and I don’t really like to make too many comments about her. But we are very happy [for her].”
Sally added: “We get to meet him as well. Michelle’s very low-key. We’re all pretty low-key.”
Sally and Kim think Matilda has a strong resemblance to ‘The Dark Knight’ actor – who split from Michelle months before he passed away – and praised the way she’s been raised by the former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star.
Kim said: “We won’t see the full effect of that for a number of years, I’m sure. Michelle has done a great job as a single mom to bring her up, but she kept it fairly low-key everywhere, so really expressing herself, that’ll all come out in time.
“She’s got his beautiful flowing limbs, and a lot of his mannerisms, and that his smile. … It’s quite incredible, isn’t it?”
Michelle spoke about her marriage in an interview with Vanity Fair in July, in which she said the Mount Eerie musician was unlike “anybody else” she’d ever met before.
She said: “I never gave up on love. I always say to Matilda, ‘Your dad loved me before anybody thought I was talented, or pretty, or had nice clothes.
“Obviously I’ve never once in my life talked about a relationship. But Phil isn’t anyone else. And that’s worth something. Ultimately the way he loves me is the way I want to live my life on the whole. I work to be free inside of the moment. I parent to let Matilda feel free to be herself, and I am finally loved by someone who makes me feel free.”

Chloe Ayling claims she was ‘intimate’ with Jermaine Pennant

OHMYGOSSIP — Chloe Ayling claimed was “intimate” in bed with Jermaine Pennant in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.
The 21-year-old model has insisted she got “physical” with the married football star – who plans to renew his vows with Alice Goodwin – when she got “caught up in the moment” and did more than kiss him, although he has denied her claim.
She told The Sun Online: “When me and Jermaine shared a bed one night in the ‘Big Brother’ house something intimate did happen when I was under the impression he was single, however absolutely nothing has happened between us since finding out he was married during my eviction interview.
“We played the bed swapping game and I ended up with Jermaine. I was wearing a hoodie and knickers and we got under the covers – we each had our own duvet – and we knew we had to be discreet because all the cameras where on us.
“I felt his hands on me and I kind of laughed because I wasn’t expecting it but I let him carry on because at that point I liked him and thought he was single.”
Chloe has insisted she feels “used” by Jermaine, and said he told he “his relationship was f***ed” – but she was glad to realise she had the support of the public when she left the house.
She added: “Viewers saw that he kept his marriage a secret from all of the housemates, only admitting to three of them that he was married 24 hours before my eviction.
“It was annoying and made me feel hurt when upon his eviction he tried to dismiss what happened between me and him in the house as ‘banter’ and ‘jokes with the boys’ when he knows it wasn’t.
“For a start he kept the notes a secret from other housemates and something happened in bed, so it wasn’t just harmless flirting and dare games as he claims.”

Chevy Chase slams Saturday Night Live

OHMYGOSSIP — Chevy Chase thinks ‘Saturday Night Live’ is home to the worst humour “in the world”.
The 74-year-old actor was once a key cast member of the iconic TV American show, but he feels ‘Saturday Night Live’ has been going downhill for decades.
Asked when he last found the show – which premiered in 1975 – to be amusing, he confessed: “I’d have to say, that after the first two years, it went downhill.
“Why am I saying that? Because I was in it? I guess. That’s a horrible thing to say. But certainly I never had more fun. I really loved it and enjoyed it. I didn’t see the same fun thing happening to the cast the next year.”
Chevy was subsequently asked about specific skits of former cast members, including Will Ferrell’s George W. Bush’s impression.
He responded: “Just not funny. Makes $25 million a picture.”
Chevy enjoyed Eddie Murphy’s work on ‘Saturday Night Live’, though he wasn’t impressed with his impression of Stevie Wonder.
He told the Washington Post newspaper: “I thought Eddie Murphy was funny. Gumby. I found that funny and people loved that.
“Stevie Wonder, he did well. It’s not that hard, for Christ’s sake. Your skin’s the same colour. You just put on some sunglasses and do this.”
Meanwhile, Chevy revealed he feels sorry for the viewers of the show’s modern-day incarnation, admitting it drives him “nuts”.
After being reminded that millions of people still watch the award-winning show, he explained: “That means a whole generation of s**theads laughs at the worst f***ing humour in the world.
“You know what I mean? How could you dare give that generation worse s**t than they already have in their lives? It just drives me nuts.”

Josh Groban is ‘better off as a friend’ of Katy Perry

OHMYGOSSIP — Josh Groban thinks he and Katy Perry are “better as friends” than as a couple.
The 37-year-old star – who is the subject of Katy’s 2010 song ‘The One That Got Away’ – previously dated the pop star, but has revealed they ultimately decided they’re better off as good friends.
Josh confessed: “We did [date]. We were both very private and we realised we were better as friends and we’ve been very, very good friends to this day. She’s the best.”
Katy, 33 – who is now dating actor Orlando Bloom – remained tight-lipped about the song for years, before revealing in 2017 that the track referred to her relationship with Josh.
And the American star has admitted the confession left him in a state of shock.
He told ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen’: “I was not expecting that. That was a double take and a spit of my coffee when I saw that.”
In fact, Josh – who is now dating actress Schuyler Helford – still has his doubts about whether the track is really about him.
He said: “It’s very sweet of her to say that, and then I listened to the lyrics of the song. And I’m like, ‘I never owned a Mustang. I don’t have a tattoo. Are you sure that’s about me?'”
When he was encouraged by the show’s host to reach out to Katy, Josh added: “I think we’re both very taken at the moment, but it’s very sweet.”
Meanwhile, Orlando previously admitted that his romance with Katy was unexpected.
The Hollywood star explained: “She’s a remarkable human being, actually.
“I wouldn’t have imagined anything happening. And, you know, when you get hit sideways you get hit sideways. You don’t pick who you fall in love with.”

Kris Jenner delivered granddaughter

OHMYGOSSIP — Kris Jenner delivered her granddaughter Stormi.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star couldn’t believe how well her daughter Kylie Jenner did when she gave birth to the little girl seven months ago.
In a sneak peek from Sunday’s episode of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’, she said: “She did really, really well. She just kept saying, ‘I just don’t feel any pain.’ You’d see these contractions like crazy and she would go, ‘I just am not feeling it.’ I’m like, ‘This is really weird!’ She was such a trooper. She really was. She was so calm. It was really exciting. I delivered the baby! I delivered her. I pulled her out.”
Kylie didn’t confirm her pregnancy until after she had given birth to Stormi.
She shared on Instagram at the time: “I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free and health way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.
“Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering and life changing experience I’ve had in my entire life and I’m actually going to miss it. I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could. My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and I just couldn’t wait to share this blessing. I’ve never felt love and happiness like this I could burst. Thank you for understanding.”
