Kate Hudson quips she needs Whiskey shot to induce labour

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Hudson has quipped that she needs her neighbour Reese Witherspoon to bring her a shot of whiskey to induce her labour.
The ‘Almost Famous’ star is heavily pregnant with her first child, a little girl, with her actor boyfriend Danny Fujikawa, 32, and took to her Instagram Stories to drool over the cocktail recipes in her famous pal’s new book, ‘Whiskey in a Teacup’ on Monday (24.09.18).
The 39-year-old beauty, who could give birth at any minute, jokingly asked the ‘Big Little Lies’ star to send a sample round to set off her waters.
She told her followers: “I saw everyone else getting them. I was like what the…
“What I really want to try is this.
“But, I can’t.
“Listen, Reese is my neighbour – just bring the whiskey. I don’t need the teacup.
“I figure a little shot of whiskey could put me into labour.
“I’m looking for that chapter right now … how do southern girls get labour going?”
Kate – who already has 14-year-old Ryder and seven-year-old Bingham with ex-partner Matt Bellamy – appeared on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ last week, and warned host Ellen that she could give birth at “any second”.
She also admitted she hasn’t chosen a name for her new arrival yet, but she and her beau have a few in mind.
She laughed: “Let’s just say you’ve probably never had anyone this pregnant on your show. [My] water could go any second.”
And when asked if she or Danny have any ideas for a moniker for their little girl, she said: “We have a couple of them and we’re going to decide when the day comes.”
Kate announced her pregnancy with an adorable gender reveal video on her Instagram account in April.
She wrote: “SURPRISE!!! If you’ve wondered why I’ve been so absent on my social channels it’s because I have never been more sick! It was the most sick first trimester of all my children.
“We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I’m a poppin now! And it’s too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting then just coming out with it! My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way (sic)”

Lindsay Lohan’s mom Dina files for bankruptcy

OHMYGOSSIP — Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina has reportedly filed for bankruptcy.
The ‘Mean Girls’ star’s parent is believed to be $1,578,049.00 in debt, with $1.55 million owned to PennyMac Loan Services.
According to legal documents obtained by gossip website TMZ.com, the 56-year-old reality star also owes taxes in California amounting to $4,651 and $9,000 in New York.
On Tuesday (25.09.18), the ‘Living Lohan’ star’s property in Long Island was due to be auctioned in a bid to save her from losing the house where Lindsay and her siblings – Ali, 24, Cody, 22, and Michael, 30 – grew up.
In April, Dina’s faced losing her New York residence after she received a default on her montage and failed to respond.
A judge ruled that the property would need to be auctioned off within 90 days.
The investment company JPMorgan Chase sued Dina in 2013 for foreclosure, but the case was put on hold until now.
Lindsay, 32, even stepped in at one point, giving her mother $40,000 to try and keep the house in the family’s possession.
The ‘Freaky Friday’ star has also struggled with her finances herself over the years.
Lindsay’s bank accounts were frozen in 2012, as she owned $233,904 in taxes.
Her ‘Scary Movie 5’ co-star Charlie Sheen was reported to have sent her $100,000 to help the star pay off the debt.
Lindsay and her mom haven’t always seen eye-to-eye, but have patched things up in recent times.
Earlier this month, Lindsay – who runs her own Lohan Beach House resorts in Greece – captioned a video of Dina on Instagram: “I love you so much. You are my best friend and i am so lucky to be graced with your presence and your heart every second of every day. Thank you for giving me life. I know we have had rough times.
“So let me help you make it easy.. @dinalohan @mtv @mtvlohanbeachhouse @dakotalohan @mikelohan @alianalohan #family that is real, is honest, it’s the purity, the simplicity that we forget when we have it all. Padma Lakshmi raped aged 16

OHMYGOSSIP — Padma Lakshmi was raped when she was 16.
The 48-year-old model – who has eight-year-old daughter Krishna Thea Lakshmi-Dell with Adam Dell – has revealed she was “molested” by a guy she was dating, who was 23, and how she only felt able to tell her story 32 years later.
In the op-ed for The New York Times, Padma wrote: “When I was 16 years old, I started dating a guy I met at the Puente Hills Mall in a Los Angeles suburb.
“I worked there after school at the accessories counter at Robinsons-May.
“He worked at a high-end men’s store.
“He would come in wearing a gray silk suit and flirt with me.
“He was in college, and I thought he was charming and handsome.
“He was 23.
“When we went out, he would park the car and come in and sit on our couch and talk to my mother.
“He never brought me home late on a school night.
“We were intimate to a point, but he knew that I was a virgin and that I was unsure of when I would be ready to have sex.
“On New Year’s Eve, just a few months after we first started dating, he raped me.”
The ‘Top Chef’ star described feeling an “excruciating stabbing pain” between her legs as the male forced himself on top of her.
Detailing the rape in depth, she recalled: “The two of us had gone to a couple of parties. Afterward, we went to his apartment.
“While we were talking, I was so tired that I lay on the bed and fell asleep.
The next thing I remember is waking up to a very sharp stabbing pain like a knife blade between my legs.
“He was on top of me. I asked, ‘What are you doing?’
“He said, ‘It will only hurt for a while.’
“‘Please don’t do this’, I screamed.
“The pain was excruciating, and as he continued, my tears felt like fear.
Afterward, he said, ‘I thought it would hurt less if you were asleep.’ Then he drove me home.”
Padma didn’t tell anyone, not even her parents, about what happened but she feels if she had she would have “suffered less”.
She said: “I didn’t report it. Not to my mother, not to my friends and certainly not to the police. At first I was in shock. That evening, I let my mother know when I was home, then went to sleep, hoping to forget that night.
“I think if I had at the time named what happened to me as rape — and told others — I might have suffered less. Looking back, I now think I let my rapist off the hook and I let my 16-year-old self down.”
Padma also revealed she was inappropriately touched by a member of her stepfather’s family when she was just a little girl and she had to move to India for 12 months after telling her parents what had happened.
She wrote: “When I was 7 years old, my stepfather’s relative touched me between my legs and put my hand on his erect penis.
“Shortly after I told my mother and stepfather, they sent me to India for a year to live with my grandparents.
“The lesson was: If you speak up, you will be cast out.”
Padma hopes speaking out will encourage other women to speak out so they don’t have to suffer in silence like she did.
She said: “These experiences have affected me and my ability to trust. It took me decades to talk about this with intimate partners and a therapist.
“Now, 32 years after my rape, I am stating publicly what happened. I have nothing to gain by talking about this.
“But we all have a lot to lose if we put a time limit on telling the truth about sexual assault and if we hold on to the codes of silence that for generations have allowed men to hurt women with impunity.”

Holly Madison’s ‘amicable’ divorce

OHMYGOSSIP — Holly Madison and Pasquale Rotella have confirmed they have “amicably” split.
The former ‘Girls Next Door’ star filed for divorce from Pasquale Rotella – who she married in September 2014 after three years together – “weeks ago”, and Pasquale says while the pair will be “forever partners”, they have decided it’s best for them and their children – daughter Rainbow, five, and son Forest, two – if they go their separate ways romantically whilst continuing to co-parent their little ones in a loving environment.
Alongside a picture of the family on a rollercoaster, he wrote on Instagram: “It is with love in our hearts and a deep respect for one another that Holly and I have amicably made the decision to separate. First and foremost, we are forever partners and parents to two beautiful children, and are fully committed to raising them in an environment filled with love and positivity. (sic)”
Pasquale praised the former Playboy Playmate, who shared the post on her profile, as a “beautiful soul” and said they are both confident their “next chapter” as a family will have positive outcome.
He continued: “Holly is a talented woman and a beautiful soul. We remain the best of friends while co-parenting and continuing to support one another in our respective passions in life.
“Though it was not a decision we made hastily or take lightly, Holly and I welcome this next chapter in our relationship, and have every confidence that the future will bring only the best for us and our kids. We will always be family. Thank you all for your continued love and support. (sic)”
The divorce news no doubt came as a surprise as just six months after having Forest in 2016, the 38-year-old star admitted she and her spouse were keen to have more children.
She said: “We definitely want more kids.
“We’re going to wait a little bit, get used to this one, and then see what happens.
“I’m just going to see how many we have time for before I get too old, I guess!”

Shia LaBeouf dating FKA Twigs?

OHMYGOSSIP — Shia LaBeouf and FKA Twigs are reportedly dating.
The 32-year-old actor has filed for divorce from his wife Mia Goth – whom he tied the knot with at a ceremony in Las Vegas two years ago – and is now said to be “very happy” in his new relationship with the 30-year-old singer.
A friend close to the couple told the MailOnline: “We’re very happy, we’re having a nice time.”
As for his “amicable” split from Mia, a spokesperson for the ‘Lawless’ star told E! News: “Shia and Mia have filed for divorce. The separation is amicable and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private.”
Shia was spotted leaving Twigs’ home in East London to go food shopping this week.
The pair were first introduced whilst filming ‘American Honey’ in 2016.
Shia confirmed his marriage to 24-year-old actress Mia – who he met on the set of ‘Nymphoniac’ in 2015 – during a live television appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ not long after the pair got married, saying: “We’re proud of it. It was love.”
And Shia – who has had several runnings with police since 2009 when he was charged with a misdemeanour for criminal trespassing shortly after his 21st birthday – admitted that getting hitched to Mia had changed his outlook on marriage.
He said: “You always hear these people who are all cynical, like, ‘Ah, man, once you get married everything changes’. But for the better though!”
Twigs – whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett – was engaged to marry ‘Twilight’ actor Robert Pattinson ,33, but the pair called things off after three years together late last year.
An insider said that Robert was “tired” of being unable to spend time with his ex-fiancee.
They said: “They were almost inseparable for their first two years together. But in recent months they have really started to drift apart and have been spending less and less time together.
“Rob is tired of it, has called off their engagement and told friends they have split. With so much -history between them, though, there are still strong feelings there. It’s a difficult situation but things have become tough between them for some time and they both know they were no longer working as a couple.”
Neither Shia or Twigs have commented on their relationship status.

Brandon Jenner and Leah Felder officially file for divorce

OHMYGOSSIP — Brandon Jenner and his wife Leah Felder have officially filed for divorce.
The reality star couple – who share three-year-old daughter Eva together -announced earlier this month they were separating after six years of marriage and 14 years together, and it has now been revealed that Leah, 35, has officially filed papers to terminate their marriage.
According to TMZ, Leah filed the documents on Monday (24.09.18), and dated their split as July 10, two months before they made the news known to the public.
The publication reports she cited “irreconcilable differences”, and says she seeking spousal support as well as shared custody of their daughter.
Brandon, 37, and Leah told fans about their break-up in a shared statement released on Instagram on September 10.
It read: “After celebrating fourteen beautiful years together, we have lovingly come to the decision to end the romantic aspect of our relationship. We are deeply proud of the life we’ve cultivated together and are truly grateful for the bond of friendship we hold and cherish today. It is stronger than ever.
“Even though we have chosen to separate as a couple, we still love one another very, very much and remain a major part of each other’s lives – as best friends, family and loving parents to our daughter. There has been no lying or cheating or fighting that prompted this change, just an expansion of our individual evolution which has inspired us to support each other in a new way. We are still, very much, a loving family and are bonded by a deep connection that is rooted in love.
“Here we openly share our truth with you all and, respectfully, we won’t be commenting further so anything that might state the contrary of this message would, undoubtedly, be a fabrication.
“Thank you for your love and support and big love back to you guys!”

Kenya Moore picked out ‘amazing’ baby name

OHMYGOSSIP — Kenya Moore already has an “amazing” name picked out for her baby.
The 47-year-old actress and reality star is expecting her first child with husband Marc Daly, and as her November due date approaches, she says that whilst they’re waiting to find out the sex of their tot, they already have a unisex moniker in mind.
She said: “My cousin actually said it at a family function once. Marc and I both looked at each other and we were both like, ‘Oh my God! That’s an amazing name.’ It means so much to us. It has great significance to us.”
Whilst the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star is still playing coy about the name she and her businessman spouse – whom she married last year – have chosen for their unborn tot, Kenya does want her fans to learn more about her journey to motherhood.
She added: “I’m sharing as much as I can and I do have a project up my sleeves. They’ll get an inside glance into as many moments as I can and whatever I chose to share with the public, they definitely see a lot that I experienced from baby shower to birth to planning stages.”
One update the brunette beauty can share, though, is that “everything is good and healthy”.
The ‘Deliver Us From Eva’ actress said: “Everything is good and healthy. This is the home stretch and I’m being as healthy as I possibly can and being as positive as I can.”

Amber Rose opens up on #MeToo movement

OHMYGOSSIP — Amber Rose has explained why her SlutWalk is an “important” part of the #MeToo movement.
The 34-year-old star has opened up about the significance of the annual event – which she will host in Los Angeles for the fourth time next month – and its role in raising awareness for the changes in attitude around the world.
She told Harper’s Bazaar: “Well, we’re not taking any s**t anymore. We’re speaking up and we’re not scared just because these men are in higher positions or they have more money or they intimidate us.
“We have a voice and we all realise now that’s why SlutWalk is so important — to bring an awareness of actually what’s happening in this world.
“It’s the equality issues that we deal with, but also the fact that, we can band together as women and stand up for each other and realise that we do have a voice that can make a change.”
Amber added that the #MeToo movement was educating men about “consent”, and explained that her SlutWalk doesn’t “leave anyone out” when it comes to supporting those who need it.
She explained: “A lot of men are learning exactly what consent is. My SlutWalk is really inclusive, so we don’t leave anyone out.
“The LGBTQ community, non-binary, transgender, women, men, all walks of life, it doesn’t matter where you come from. We’re just spreading awareness and I think that whether being sexually assaulted or slut-shamed, women in general, we’re just not taking it anymore.”
The star was inspired to launch her own event after discovering the original Toronto SlutWalk – which launched in 2011 – four years ago, and she was determined to host one herself.
She said: “I didn’t know how to articulate what was going on and why I was feeling this way. It was because I was sexually assaulted, I had been raped, and I was slut-shamed.
“I was victim-blamed, as well. I didn’t really have words to those things that were happening to me until I started looking online and seeing things and realizing I wasn’t alone, and that I now have a platform where I can help other women who are recovering and healing.”

Gwyneth Paltrow admits ‘conscious uncoupling’ sounds ‘dorky’

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow admits “conscious uncoupling” is a “dorky” term.
The 45-year-old star and her ex-husband Chris Martin used the phrase to announce their breakup in 2014 after 10 years of marriage, and although she doesn’t “regret” it, she conceded it ran the risk of being “cringe-worthy”.
Speaking on ‘The Goop Podcast’ to celebrate a decade since her lifestyle brand’s launch, she said: “Do I regret consciously uncoupling? No, not at all… [but] the term is a bit dorky.
“I think I’ve learned so much through this process. I think, sometimes, especially when I look back at some of my most vulnerable moments, I was super earnest and sometimes that’s just cringe-worthy. Where you’re like, ‘Oh, why did I do that?’
“But this was a time when I was in a lot of pain. I think Chris and I are very like-minded and that we really were disappointed that our marriage wasn’t going to work, and we weren’t going to have the thing where you’re married to the parent of your children for the rest of your lives.”
The former couple – who share 14-year-old daughter Apple and 12-year-old son Moses – separated four years ago, filing for divorce the following year and finalising the split in 2016.
Earlier this month, Gwyneth revealed she has continued to be legally keep the Coldplay frontman’s surname following the divorce.
She told the Sunday Mirror: “I personally – legally – did keep my last married name. My legal name is Gwyneth Paltrow Martin.
“I think in my case, because I am known out in the world as Gwyneth Paltrow, I had always kept that identity in a way. But in things related to school I am Martin. Other children call me Mrs Martin, which is kind of hilarious.
“It’s a personal choice. I don’t know – it has to be what’s right for everybody. In some cases women really want to reclaim their own name. And in some cases people want to keep their married name.”

Tony Robinson hints at Blackadder return

OHMYGOSSIP — Tony Robinson thinks ‘Blackadder’ could return for a fifth series.
The 72-year-old actor suggested a reunion with former cast mates Rowan Atkinson and Hugh Laurie could be on the cards 30 years after the last episode aired on the BBC.
He is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: “I do see a version of the show coming back. There are a host of other periods in history which could be turned into a six-part ‘Blackadder’ series.
“We’d have to get the old group back together again. I know everyone is busy doing wonderful things, but we all have fond memories so I’m sure we would work it out.”
While Atkinson, 63, will be hitting the big screen next month with ‘Johnny English Strikes Again’, Laurie, 58, stars as Mycroft Holmes in the upcoming movies ‘Holmes and Watson’ alongside Will Ferrel and John C. Reilly.
Each series of ‘Blackadder’ covered a different period of history, including the Middle Ages, Elizabethan England, the Georgian Era and a run of episodes focused on the trenches during World War One.
The cast also featured the likes of Tim McInnemy, Stephen Fry and the late Rik Mayall.
Last year, Tony suggested Dustin Hoffman could take over his role of Baldrick if the show was ever remade.
He said: “If anyone else were to play Baldrick, I would choose Dustin Hoffman. I’ve just always thought that, as a performer, [Hoffman] was a kindred spirit.
“Right from ‘The Graduate’ onwards, I just know why he’s made the acting choices he has. I can’t explain it, but when I see what you’re doing Dustin, I just get it.”

Ron Perlman to star in Monster Hunter

OHMYGOSSIP — Ron Perlman has joined the cast of ‘Monster Hunter’.
The 68-year-old actor is set to star in the movie adaptation of the popular Capcom video game series, which is in development by Screen Gems.
Alongside Ron – who is known for his role as the titular character in the original ‘Hellboy’ movie and its sequel, as well as for roles in TV shows such as ‘Sons of Anarchy’ and ‘Hand of God’ – T.I. Harris was also announced for a role, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and they will both be joining the previously announced Milla Jovovich.
Paul W.S. Anderson, the writer and director behind the ‘Resident Evil’ movie franchise – which was also adapted from the popular games, and also starred Milla, who is his wife – is once again both writing and directing the movie.
Whilst plot details are not yet known, the ‘Monster Hunter’ game franchise sees players taking on characters who track and kill monsters, levelling up with weapons and gear.
It has been revealed that Milla is playing a character called Artemis, whilst T.I. Harris is to play a sniper named Link, and Ron will star as a man named Admiral, who is the leader of the Hunter’s Crew.
The project is due to start filming next month in South Africa, and as of the time of writing, there is no clear release date for the finished movie.
For Ron, the movie role comes after it was previously announced he won’t be reprising his role as Hellboy in the reboot of the franchise – which is based on the comic book series – as ‘Stranger Things’ star David Harbour will take on the role instead.
Milla will also star in that movie as the Blood Queen and Ian McShane as Professor Broom – the scientist who adopts the titular demon child.
The plot follows Hellboy as he battles with a medieval evil wizard who is hell-bent on destroying humankind.

Tom Hardy defends Venom rating

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hardy has defended ‘Venom’ over its rating and insisted it hasn’t harmed the movie’s interpretation.
The 40-year-old actor has opened up on the film’s certification – 15 in the UK and PG-13 in the US – and explained how it was able to find a wider audience while still being able to explore the darker side of the source material.
He told MTV International: “Is it going to be R-Rated? That’s the big question and the answers been answered, isn’t it? [It’s a 15 in the UK] and it’s a PG-13 in the states, but to be fair the thing can fulcrum into R-Rated and fulcrum into youth or children.
“My littlest ones, they watch Spider-Man and Venom quite comfortably and Venom toys appear and LEGO appear.
“So it’s not like they’re scared by him, and at the same time there’s a lot in the real estate that you can actually imbue with a complete sense of gratuitous violence if you really wanted to, and I think you’ve got the right people for that job if you want to push it, course that’s where I want to go with it.”
While Hardy himself might be keen on pushing ‘Venom’ even further on the big screen, he recently admitted he turned to his 10-year-old son Louis for advice on how to play Eddie Brock and his anti-hero alter ego.
He confessed: “I’m not going to lie, I just thought he was a black Spider-Man. I didn’t really read comic books, so my information was limited.
“But I was given loads of comics when I got involved. All the comics! And more importantly, I had my son as my guide … I was versed in the way of Venom by a 10-year-old. I consulted the oracle, there. And he would steer me on.”
The ‘Legend’ actor will be playing Eddie Brock and his alter ego on at least two more occasions if his upcoming film is a box-office success.

Lil Wayne to release album this week

OHMYGOSSIP — Lil Wayne will release his album ‘Tha Carter V’ this week.
The 35-year-old rapper has kept fans waiting three years for his 12th studio venture – his first since 2015’s ‘Free Weezy Album’ – and after it was rumoured the record would drop last week, some fans were left disappointed when the new tracks never surfaced.
However, on Tuesday (25.09.18), the ‘Love Me’ hitmaker took to social media to reveal that there was a “misunderstanding” with the release date, and he’ll actually drop the album this Friday (27.09.18), on the same day as his 36th birthday.
In a lengthy three-minute video posted on his YouTube channel and shared to Twitter, Lil Wayne said: “I heard there was a misunderstanding about the release date of ‘Tha CV’. I heard y’all got a little mixed up and y’all thought it was going to be released like last week or something. Well, I would like for you to know that since y’all stuck with me and hung in there anyway for like the past four, five years, through all of this – y’all got me feeling like Tiger Woods with this comeback – but on my birthday, I actually have something special: I will be releasing ‘Tha Carter V’.”
Toward the end of the video, Lil Wayne – whose real name is Dwayne Carter – shared the album art for the record, which follows the theme of childhood photos that he’s adopted for the other four albums in the ‘Tha Carter’ series.
He added: “Honestly, my fans, my supporters, the world, you know, of course, it’s God and my family first, and I am nothing, absolutely nothing.”
To keep fans excited in the last few days before the album finally gets released, the ‘Mirror’ rapper’s website now features a countdown to ‘Tha Carter V’s release date.

Tom Morello praises Rage Against The Machine Christmas campaign

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Morello has praised Rage Against The Machine’s fans for getting ‘Killing In The Name’ into the Christmas Number One spot.
The fiery protest song hit the top of the festive charts in 2009 as a protest against TV talent show ‘The X Factor’ claiming the honour for a fifth successive year.
Asked about the campaign as part of an online fan Q&A, Tom told The Guardian: “The Christmas No 1 was a spectacular example of People Power.
“While the band had very little to do with the dethroning of Simon Cowell’s ‘X Factor’ sugar-s**t, it was a movement of the fans that made it happen.
“The subsequent free show that we performed at Finsbury Park was the single greatest night in the history of RATM and I will remember it forever.”
Speaking about the Christmas campaign at the time, music mogul Simon after ‘X Factor’ winner Joe McElderry was beaten to the top spot.
He said: “I now realise I’ve taken too much for granted. I have got to hold my hands up. I accept there are people that don’t like the X Factor.”
The track first peaked at Number 25 in the UK in 1993 – 16 years before the campaign – and Tom has dismissed the idea that the current generation of music fans are missing their own political anthem, and urged them to either look into underground bands or even form their own.
He added in the live webchat: “Rather than lamenting that there’s no ‘Killing in the Name’ or ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ at the top of the charts, either dig a little deeper, or better, form your own band and write your Killing in the Name. We’d love to hear it.”

Dame Judi Dench defends Kevin Spacey

OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Judi Dench has spoken out to defend her “good friend” Kevin Spacey.
The 83-year-old actress admitted she didn’t “approve” of the way bosses on ‘All the Money in the World’ replaced the disgraced actor – who was accused of making unwanted sexual advances towards actor Anthony Rapp when he was just 14, prompting a string of other allegations against him – with Christopher Plummer because of the sexual misconduct claims because she feels it is the start of a slippery slope of rewriting history.
She said: “I can’t approve, in any way, of the fact that — whatever he has done — that you then start to cut him out of the films.
“Are we to do what happened when he was replaced with Christopher Plummer? Are we to do that throughout history?
“Are we to go back throughout history and anyone who has misbehaved in any way, or who has broken the law, or who has committed some kind of offense, are they always going to be cut out? Are we going to extrude them from our history? I don’t know….
“I don’t know about the conditions of it, but nevertheless he is, and was, a most wonderful actor. I can’t imagine what he is doing now. And [he’s] a good friend.”
The ‘Red Joan’ actress also praised the 59-year-old actor – who was also fired from Netflix drama ‘House of Cards’ over the allegations – for the kindness he showed her when they worked together just after her husband, Michael Williams, passed away in 2001.
Speaking to reporters at the San Sebastian International Film Festival, she said: “I went to do ‘The Shipping News’ with Kevin Spacey, and Kevin was an inestimable comfort and never mentioned he knew I was in a bad way.
“He cheered me up and kept me going.”
The ‘Skyfall’ star also hailed the “extraordinary moment of change” that the Time’s Up and #MeToo movements have heralded.
She said: “I think there are many things to be redressed and made right.
“It is an extraordinary moment of change, a sea change at the moment. And there are many more parts for women, which is very good indeed, and long may that go on.”
