Pusha T: Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly feud is essence of hip-hop

OHMYGOSSIP — Pusha T says Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly’s feud is the “essence of hip-hop”.
The rappers have warring ever since the latter hit out at the ‘Bad Things’ hitmaker on the track ‘Not Alike’ on his surprise LP ‘Kamikaze’, and though some fans have speculated that it’s a PR stunt after it was revealed they’ve been working with the same producer on their diss tracks, Pusha disagrees as he says it’s what the genre is all about.
Asked if he thinks it’s a fake feud, the 41-year-old star told NME.com: “No I don’t think so.
“I think what they’re doing is they’re basically keeping it at the essence of hip hop. And the back and forth exchange is what hip hop is all about, and I think they’ve both done a good job.”
Kelly released a response to ‘Not Alike’ in the form of ‘Rap Devil’, which features the line, “Mad about somethin’ I said in 2012/Took you six years and a surprise album just to come with a diss/Homie we get it, we know that you’re the greatest rapper alive”, and it emerged that both tracks featured the handy work of studio wizard Ronny J – whose credits include rappers Lil Pump and the late XXXTentacion.
Kelly took the feud to another level when he poked fun at Eminem’s age during his gig in Orlando.
According to TMZ.com, MGK – whose real name is Richard Colson Baker – kicked off his set by shouting “F**k Marshall Mathers,” before he added: “The real Slim Shady can’t stand up.”
Eminem admitted he first dissed MGK because he accused him of hindering his career.
The ‘River’ rapper explained that he released ‘Not Alike’, which includes the line: “Now you wanna come and f**k with me, huh? / This little c**k-sucker, he must be feeling himself”, after his rival rapped about banning him from his radio station ‘Shade 45’.
However, he insisted that he’s not interested in wrecking MGK’s because there are “better” rappers out there and his name doesn’t even pop up in the list.
Eminem said recently: “The reason that I dissed him is because he got on – first he said, ‘I’m the greatest rapper alive since my favourite rapper banned me from ‘Shade 45,’ or whatever he said, right? Like I’m trying to hinder his career. I don’t give a f**k about your career. You think I actually f***in’ think about you? You know how many f***in’ rappers that are better than you? You’re not even in the f***in’ conversation.”
The ‘Without You’ hitmaker previously admitted his beef with Kelly isn’t about him calling his daughter Hailie “hot as f**k” in 2012.
He teased that his problem with the young star is “a lot more petty” than anything he’s ever said about the 22-year-old beauty on Twitter, after he hit back with ‘Not Alike’.

The 31-year-old supermodel and ‘Transformers’ actress has walked the catwalk for major labels such as Burberry, Victoria’s Secret and Prada, and now the ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ star has donned a new look and appeared without a bra in the French capital following a fitting with iconic British designer, Vivienne Westwood.

Lindsay Lohan makes surprise Fashion Week appearance

OHMYGOSSIP — Lindsay Lohan and her brother made a rare appearance at Paris Fashion Week.
The 32-year-old actress last showed her face at a major runway show three years ago, but all of that changed this week when she made a shock return to the fashion world by attending the Spring/Summer Saint Lauren 2019 catwalk show alongside her model brother Dakota.
The ‘Parent Trap’ star stunned at the show with a business casual look, wearing a long-sleeved dress with sharp shoulders, matching black heels, aviator sunglasses and sleek slicked-back hair, while her brother wore a stylish all-black suit and matching black shades.
The siblings documented their day touring the city via Instagram, and Lindsay posted a photo of herself and Dakota, 22, just before a fitting for the luxury fashion house – posing outside their store window.
Lindsay sported a laid-back white T-shirt and black leggings combination, pairing the outfit with a dark bomber jacket and accessorising with a chic black hat and sunglasses, chunky heeled boots and a studded leather shoulder bag.
Dakota also opted for a bomber jacket, coupled with a plaid shirt and baggy jeans with white trainers and sunglasses – adding a splash of colour with a yellow fanny pack hanging from his neck.
The model posted an Instagram story of himself in the car with his sister, singing along to loud music.
He wrote: “Having so much fun with my sister.”
The trip comes after it was announced that Lindsay will be starring in a new reality TV show – focused on her life in Greece – called ‘Lohan Beach Club’.

Tiffany Haddish’s bank balance doesn’t match superstar status

OHMYGOSSIP — Tiffany Haddish’s bank balance “doesn’t reflect” her superstar status.
The ‘Night School’ actress still feels like a “regular person” despite her rise to fame, and she joked her financial situation doesn’t match people’s perception of her.
She told the Metro newspaper: “I don’t feel like a superstar, even though lots of people tell me that I am. My bank account sure doesn’t reflect that!
“And my family haven’t gotten the memo — I am still regular to them. I was at a store recently and this woman was following me and then she just started screaming, ‘Oh my God! It’s really you!’ and I was like, ‘Hey, hey, calm down, lady! I am just a regular person. I poop just like you.’ ”
The 38-year-old star also insisted her fame hasn’t had an impact on her dating life, as she explained she doesn’t have “a lot of time” to give potential lovers the attention they need.
She said: “Girl, it’s been a nonexistent thing! I mean, men need so much attention and I haven’t really had a lot of time — or even tried to make time — for that.
“It’s funny because I read these things that come on my phone like: ‘Tiffany Haddish dating…/seen with…’ and I’m like, I don’t even know that dude’s real name or have his phone number!”
Tiffany was recently named on Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people on the planet, and she admitted she wasn’t sure how it happened.
She added: “I’m still trying to figure out, like, how did that happen? I think my purpose here on Earth is to bring joy and happiness to everybody and to help people deal with difficult situations in a joyous manner.”

Lady Gaga refused nose job early in her career

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga refused to get a “nose job” early in her career.
The ‘Just Dance’ hitmaker revealed people tried to persuade her to have plastic surgery become she released her debut single, but she held her ground and was determined to stay true to herself.
She told the Mirror: “Before my first single ever came out it was suggested I get a nose job but I said ‘No.’ I love my Italian nose.
“If people wanted me to look like a sexpot I would look like the opposite. If they said ‘Try dancing and looking this way’ I would always flip it on its head and do it my way.”
The ‘A Star Is Born’ actress admitted she had to use some of her own securities for her role as unknown singer-songwriter Ally in Bradley Cooper’s upcoming musical drama.
Explaining how she stripped off the make-up she usually wears for her own live performances, she added: “It put me in the right place I needed to be. When my character talks about how ugly she feels – that was real. I’m so insecure.”
Gaga, 32, added that she was pleased to be able to put some of her own experiences into the film, and she said Bradley – who directed, produced and co-wrote the movie as well as starring in it – was accommodating.
She said: “I spoke a lot to Bradley about my life and they integrated part of my life into the movie but in a very special way. I am forever grateful to him for that.”
The singer has been open about her insecurities before, and over the summer she admitted she finds it “very lonely” being a performer.
She previously revealed: “It’s very lonely being a performer. There’s a certain loneliness that I feel, anyway – that I’m the only one that does what I do. So, it feels like no one understands. And the urge to use is because you’re searching for a way to quell the pain.
“When I first started to perform around the country doing nightclubs, there was stuff everywhere, but I had already partied when I was younger, so I didn’t dabble. I was able to avoid it because I did it when I was a kid.”

Orlando Bloom honoured at gala

OHMYGOSSIP — Orlando Bloom has been honoured with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation Special Award for his environmental awareness work.
The 41-year-old actor attended the prestigious event at the Monte-Carlo as part of a fundraising night featuring a live auction – which raised €21 million for the foundation – and he used his speech to call for action.
Speaking at the gala on Wednesday night (26.09.18), he said: “The urgency of climate change has never rung louder than it is now. The science is clear. And what will they say of us, a hundred years from now, since we knew but sat and did nothing?
“The world is changing, and we need to change our habits along with it. So I would challenge you to think what impact you can make and what legacy you will leave for your children and grandchildren because I truly believe that each and every individual is capable of creating real and monumental change.”
The star-studded event also featured performances from Gloria Gaynor, Nile Rodgers & CHIC and rap duo Madcon.
It also saw Orlando make his first red carpet appearance alongside his partner Katy Perry, and the couple looked very much in love.
Katy previously admitted she doesn’t want her relationship with Orlando to be the focal point of her life as it’s only “one part” of her.
She said: “It’s OK to mention him. I don’t want it to be a headline of the story, because it takes away from the purpose. Also, it’s extremely misogynistic. Of course, I love my relationship, but that is one part of me, and I don’t want any part of what I do to be diminished.”

Nick Cannon says Kanye West row was ‘pageantry’

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Cannon claims his row with Kanye West was “pageantry” and he was happy to play along.
The two stars clashed earlier this month after the 41-year-old star called out his friend for talking about his wife Kim Kardashian in a recent interview, and the 37-year-old rapper responded in kind.
Insisting that it was part of Kanye’s usual “Yeezy promotion”, he told Real 92.3’s Big Boy’s Neighborhood: “I was like, I’m gonna play the game he’s playing… ‘Ye at his best… I was like, ‘Hey, I’m happy to be a part of the circus. Let’s get to it.’
“And obviously again, to the core, I consider this dude a friend… I stood up for him when it was the ‘slavery is a choice’ [incident]; I’ve always been like, ‘Yo, that’s not what the man was trying to say.’
“And I even said that to him, I was like, ‘Yo, I’m always gonna ride for you, even when you’re wrong, ’cause that’s what cats who ride with each other do… But I think a lot of it was pageantry, at the end of the day.”
Nick – who urged Kanye not to tell him what he can and can’t say amid the apparent feud – suggested the pair have already patched things up.
He added: “We didn’t chop it up about the issue. It was more about, like, ‘Man, it’s been a minute,’ and kind of getting back to it. That’s why I was like, ‘Alright that probably was more for the public.
“And he said what he had to say, and I actually respect what he had to say, other than the fact that, you know, demanding me what I can and cannot say.”
The row comes after Kanye criticised him for a Complex interview where he suggested it wasn’t “far off of a concept” that Drake and Kim had slept together in the past.
In an Instagram post, he said: “First of all, I want to address Nick Cannon. I understand that you used to date my wife, but you know, you get into an interview, don’t mention my wife.
“If someone brings up my wife you say ‘Ye, I respect that man. I’m not speaking on that.’ Don’t be making no suggestions like somebody f**k my wife.”

Ryan Hawley hasn’t found Robron fan attention ‘particularly useful’

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Emmerdale’ star Ryan Hawley hasn’t found all the Robron fan attention “particularly useful”.
The 33-year-old star’s character Robert Sugden and Danny Miller’s alter-ego Aaron Dingle have been dubbed Robron by super-fans of the ITV soap who regularly speculate about the characters’ next moves on social media sites and forums – but Ryan tries to just focus on working with his co-star.
He said: “All the attention is nice and lovely, and it’s a huge compliment that people are so interested in our characters.
“But it’s not something I’ve particularly found useful. I guess for us, we just enjoy working together, and that’s all I try to focus on.”
Robron’s relationship is at the forefront of ‘Emmerdale’ fans’ minds at the moment with the pair set to tie the knot next week, and Danny has teased the soap’s supporters to expect a “happy ever after” for the characters.
He said: “I think people will be happy to have them married. Last time it was rushed, they just did it between themselves and it wasn’t official or a signed legal agreement.
“People can expect exactly what they want, which is a ‘happy ever after’.
“The fact that they’ve got such a good relationship, people have been interested to watch them, so everyone’s rooting for us.”
And Ryan admits it is “certainly possible” that the happy couple – who had an unofficial wedding ceremony last year – will add to their family unit at some point.
When asked if little Robrons will be on the way in the future, he added to Inside Soap magazine: “It’s certainly possible, but right now they’ve got baby Seb to look after, so I don’t think it’ll be in the next couple of months.”
Danny admitted in February that he hoped his Twitter followers would “stop having a go” at him after Robron reunited.
He said: “I’m expecting my Twitter feed to calm down and for everyone to stop having a go at me for not being with Robert.
“I think there will be lots of love hearts … it’s a nice episode and they can get back to where they were before. Aaron is trying to get past the whole Seb thing and, if anything, try to be there for Robert and the baby.”

Ash Palmisciano offers advice on transitioning

OHMYGOSSIP — Ash Palmisciano has started making YouTube videos to give people advice on transitioning, dealing with dysphoria and dating.
The ‘Emmerdale’ star plays Matty Barton, who was previously known as Moira Dingle’s (Natalie J. Robb) daughter Hannah Barton, in the ITV soap, and he has been inspired to try to help his fans after being inundated with questions, and after seeing other stars make excuses for not being able to respond to supporters.
Speaking in a video on his YouTube channel, the transgender actor said: “I want to start making YouTube videos. I thought why not kick it off talking about what I’ve been through.
“I wrote down some of your questions that you sent me. I do get all your messages and I do read them all.
“I remember watching videos of people in the past and they say, ‘Oh, I’ve been really busy, I’m sorry I can’t get back to you.’ And I just think, ‘W***er.’ ”
The 28-year-old star has advised people to turn to “someone you respect” if they feel they are “struggling” with their gender and are considering transitioning as an option.
He added: “I would pick someone who you are extremely close to as the first person you tell. Someone that you respect and feel is going to be OK with this.
“I think it’s important to almost have a trial run. The first time you say those words you’re going to feel pretty scared, you’re going to feel very shaky, very anxious. I know people who have written letters to their parents, they find it less daunting.
“Maybe say, ‘I’m struggling with my gender, I’m not sure … but I would like to explore this.’ ”
Ash also offered advice on dysphoria – a state of dissatisfaction with life – and urged people to “write the day off” and go back to bed if they aren’t feeling up to it.
He said: “Dysphoria is what every trans person basically deals with. Don’t look in mirrors when you’re having a bad day, and accept that you’re having a dysphoria day.
“Write that day off, get in bed.”

Slipknot put out music video casting call

OHMYGOSSIP — Slipknot have put out a casting call asking fans to appear in their new music video.
Corey Taylor and co will mark their 20th anniversary next year by re-releasing their self-titled debut LP, and on Wednesday (26.09.18) the ‘Duality’ hitmakers teased a new promo which they are filming on October 5 in Los Angeles, which they want their loyal following to get involved in by signing up to appear as extras.
Alongside the post, they tweeted: “#Slipknot 20th Anniversary
Music Video Casting Call
Los Angeles, CA // October 05
Email name & age: slipknot20th@gmail.com (sic)”
Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan, the Grammy-winning band’s percussionist and co-founder, recently confirmed plans for the band to re-release their fourth LP ‘All Hope Is Gone’ as well.
The ‘Before I Forget’ rockers are believed to be working with Ross Robinson, the producer of their LP ‘Iowa’ on their new album, also due out in 2019, and recently teased the new material is in the same vein of the 2001 album.
Corey said: “It’s only in the demo stages right now, however we have very serious, tentative plans – and I say that because the best way to make God laugh is to announce your plans out loud – to go into the studio at the beginning of next year and get this fucker going.
“We have 16 songs written right now, and they are f***ing dangerous. I loved ‘.5 [The Gray Chapter]’, but this album, to me, makes ‘.5’ look like nobody’s business.”
Last year, Corey’s bandmate Clown suggested the LP could end up being their last.
He admitted: “I feel like this could be it for me. We’re all getting older. I never like telling anyone like, ‘Hey this is it!’ Because I don’t have to, f**k everyone. But like I’ve said, I’ve been reflecting and there’s a lot of hard things that I could say about friends, brothers … We’re good, but it’s a big world. I’ve done enough work, I’ve produced and done remixes and art and performed, I’ve done enough where while I was in it none of it was registered.”

Clean Bandit team up with same pop star on new track

OHMYGOSSIP — Clean Bandit have recorded a new song with an artist they’ve already collaborated with.
The ‘Symphony’ hitmakers are currently “finalising” their second album and many fans have speculated that the singer they’ve teamed up with again could be Marina and the Diamonds, who they did ‘Disconnect’ with last year, as the ‘Hollywood’ hitmaker recently teased she has new music coming later this year.
The group tweeted: “We have one new song with a very special singer who we released a song with before already so, so excited for u to hear it (sic)”
However, the track could feature any one of their previous guest vocalists, which include Anne-Marie, Jess Glynne and Zara Larsson.
The duet teaser comes hot off the heels of the band teasing another collaboration with Rita Ora.
The British pop trio – comprised of Grace Chatto and brothers Luke and Jack Patterson – shared a short video of the ‘Let You Love Me’ singer in a recording booth on their Instagram Stories on Tuesday (25.09.18).
Rita could be seen dancing along to a track, and the ‘Rather Be’
hitmaker’s cryptically captioned the post: “What is?”
They then followed up the question by asking fans to send in videos of their answer to “what love is”.
They wrote: “We wanna know what love means to you..
“Please DM your videos telling us!”
Grace then says in the next clip: “Love is the opposite of fear.”
The ‘Rockabye’ hitmakers then teased that their new album is almost complete, and invited fans to suggest who they should collaborate with to finish the record off.
They tweeted: “Finalising our album! Who should we have on it?”
Clean Bandit’s second studio album will be their first since their 2014 debut LP ‘New Eyes’.

Holly Willoughby quits Truly

OHMYGOSSIP — Holly Willoughby has quit lifestyle brand Truly.
The 37-year-old presenter has made the “tough decision” to step away from the lifestyle brand before the forthcoming launch as she wants to focus on her family and her other career commitments which include co-hosting ‘This Morning’ and being an ambassador for high street chain Marks & Spencer.
Holly – who shares Chester, three, Belle, seven, and nine-year-old Harry with husband Daniel Baldwin, 43 – is also replacing Ant McPartlin on the forthcoming series of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ alongside Declan Donnelly putting even more pressure on her schedule.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “It was a really tough decision for Holly, but it’s one that’s come quite late in the day. Truly was meant to launch in the next few weeks but at the 11th hour, she’s said she could no longer be a part of it.
“It will mean the whole launch will now be pushed back until next year, which is a major headache.
“It’s about what’s best for her family. It was a hard decision but the right one for Holly and her husband Dan. She’d done a load of publicity around the launch of it just weeks ago. So it was a real last minute decision.”
Holly has confirmed in an Instagram post that she is parting ways with Truly, which is a venture between Peter Jones, his wife Tara, 45, and Holly’s sister Kelly, 40, all of whom all directors of the firm.
She wrote: “After much consideration, I have made the decision to step away from Truly.
“To launch a brand needs total dedication and at the moment, with so many other commitments, this is not something I feel I can do without it starting to affect my family time at home. I wish Truly all the success for the future.”

The Batman to start filming next summer

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘The Batman’ is set to go into production next summer.
The future of the blockbuster has been up in the air since Ben Affleck – who has played the Caped Crusader since 2016 – stepped down as writer and director, but it looks like things are still moving in the right direction as Warner Bros. have reportedly approved new director Matt Reeves’ script and scheduled a start date.
The Wrap’s Umberto Gonzalez tweeted: “LIL BATMAN UPDATE: The studio loves Matt Reeves’ first draft of his BATMAN script, he is currently doing revisions & the film is being eyed for a hopeful summer 2019 production start.
“Of note, the current DC regime is committed to getting this take on the Caped Crusader correct! (sic)”
Despite things progressing quickly, producers are yet to find someone to play the fictional superhero as it’s been claimed that Affleck may not reclaim his black cape and bat mask.
However, Jon Hamm – who is a “huge comic book” fan – recently admitted that he would be keen to follow in the 46-year-old actor’s footsteps – providing the script is strong.
He said recently: “It depends on the script, what the story is.
“I am a huge comic book fan, always have been. I’ve read comic books since I was nine or younger. And I’m pretty knowledgeable about a lot of them. And I like the genre, and I like when they’re done well.”
But the 47-year-old star has stressed that he hasn’t had any official conversations about the possibility of taking on the iconic role.
He said: “I have had rumours about that since probably season one of ‘Mad Men’.
“I have never had a conversation with anybody about it, literally. And I’ve sat in the room with all these guys. I have never been offered anything. I think the internet wants what it wants. But, I mean, a lot of people have to sign off on that, obviously not just the internet.”

Dominic Brunt kept bursting into tears at Emmerdale script

OHMYGOSSIP — Dominic Brunt had to read his ‘Emmerdale’ baby loss scripts in private because he kept “bursting into tears”.
The 48-year-old actor – who plays Paddy Kirk in the soap – and Lucy Pargeter, 41, are involved in a heart-wrenching plot next week when her character Chas Dingle gives birth to their daughter Grace, who has been diagnosed with bilateral renal agenesis, but she only survives for 20 minutes.
And Dominic found it “impossible” to hold back the tears while he was learning his lines, due to the hard-hitting nature of the content.
He said: “It kept taking us by surprise. We read the script and it was almost impossible to read it without bursting into tears all the time, so I kept reading it in private.
“I thought it was just me being soft, but Lucy said the same.
“Situations where you were holding a real baby who was gurgling in front of you just made it all the more real and all the more emotional.”
Dominic and Lucy had to go into a special room to “depressurise” after shooting the emotional scenes, and he admitted they both kept saying how fortunate it is they haven’t had to go through something similar in real life.
He added: “Lucy was so incredibly honest, and natural in what she was doing with this storyline that you couldn’t help be swept along with him.
“When they said ‘cut’ there was a room in the hospital where we were filming, and we had to kind of depressurise and come down from it. We just kept saying, ‘Thank God we’re not actually living this.’
“It was really upsetting, but we were fortunate enough to go through the process that each scene goes through while we’re here.
“It’s like that performance pitch you hit on the word ‘action’ when it’s a take is the one you’re saving it back for really.
“Sometimes you just run it quietly and then you hit it.”

Dave Grohl’s hardcore pre-gig drinking ritual

OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Grohl mixes Advil with all the booze before hitting the stage with Foo Fighters.
The ‘Monkey Wrench’ rocker has revealed he makes sure he has some of the headache relief tablets before downing shots of Jagermeister and low alcohol beer Coors Light to get him ready to rock.
Listing his hardcore pre-gig ritual, the 49-year-old star told California’s 955KLOS radio station’s FHF show: “An hour and a half before the gig, I take three Advil.
“About 50 minutes before the gig, I hit my first Jag [Jagermeister], I finish the Coors Light, I get another Coors Light going…
“Now there’s a bunch of people around, so I’m throwing shots at everybody and I’m taking shots with everyone in the room.
“The next Coors Light is down, I got a cold one.
“Now it’s about maybe 20 minutes before going on.
“I’ve had three or four shots of Jag and three Coors Lights.
“Then they sort of clear the room and we get 15 minutes to ourselves. This is bad!
“This is how I’ve spent every night of the last year and a half.
“That’s why I’m not scared of the Malört (strong liquor drink). I’ve seen worse.”
The former Nirvana drummer said that if he doesn’t take the Advil first, he has a pounding headache and turns into a “screaming” mess.
He added: “If I don’t take the Advil, I get a screaming headache for screaming my balls off for the next three hours.”
Meanwhile, Dave recently admitted he thinks he has blown Foo Fighters’ chance of performing at the Super Bowl.
The ‘Learn To Fly’ hitmakers – completed by Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee – have yet to grace the iconic half time show at the annual sporting event and Dave thinks they may never get the gig after he drunkenly told the organisers that he “didn’t want to do it anymore”.
He said: “I’ve had multiple conversations over the years with them where they say, ‘We want to have a rock ‘n’ roll band. Do you think you could do it? Do you think you could do a stadium?’ I was like, ‘Yeah man, we do it all the time.’ We’re like, ‘Oh my God, I think we’re gonna do the Super Bowl!’ And then it’ll be, like, Madonna or Katy Perry or somebody like that … I actually got really hammered at this party in France once and got to meet the dude that does the Super Bowl thing, and I was like, ‘I don’t even want to do the Super Bowl! I used to want to do it. Now I don’t want to do it anymore!'”
