Nicki Minaj is being sued by her former stylist over $74,000 worth of clothes

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj is being sued by her former stylist over $74,000 worth of clothes.
Maher Jridi claims he was a stylist for the rapper in 2017 and alleges he spent thousands to rent clothes for her to wear to numerous events.
According to TMZ, Jridi alleges Nicki wore the clothes but never returned them and he now owes $74,000 after being sued over the missing items.
He is suing Nicki for the bill.
Meanwhile, Nicki has released a new fashion range based on her fight with Cardi B.
The ‘Chun-Li’ hitmaker clashed with the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper at a New York Fashion Week party last month and after their feud escalated following the row, the 35-year-old star has used Cardi’s own words as a slogan on some new merchandise.
The collection features a fluorescent pink backpack, T-shirts and a bright purple jacket, all with the phrase ‘Nicki Stopped My Bag’ written across it.
The wording comes from Cardi’s choice of language when she defended herself after the fight after being escorted out of the party.
She fumed on Instagram: “I’ve let a lot of s**t slide. I let you sneak diss me. I let you lie on me. I let you attempt to stop my bags, f**k up the way I eat! You’ve threatened other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop f**king with them! I let you talk big sh*t about me.”
The ‘Barbie Dreams’ hitmaker later lashed out at Cardi – who has been recording new music with Nicki’s former boyfriend Meek Mill – after footage of their fight surfaced online.
She said: “You knew that when that footage came out, you were about to look dumb. So your team, they hurry up and put out a statement. I didn’t stop anyone’s bags.”
Nicki previously confessed she was “humiliated” by her fight with Cardi and was embarrassed by the brawl, which allegedly included her rival throwing a shoe at her.
She shared: “The other night I was a part of something so mortifying, so humiliating to go through in front of upper echelon people – it’s not about black or white – people who have their lives together. I was mortified … I could not believe how humiliated I felt …. how we – and I use the term ‘we’ loosely – made ourselves look.”

Margot Robbie is set to star in the live-action Barbie movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie is set to star in the live-action Barbie movie.
The ‘I Tonya’ actress is set to take over the role – which was previously linked to both Amy Schumer and Anne Hathaway – if the project moves from Sony to Warner Bros, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Margot would also produce the movie through her LuckyChap production company.
‘Wonder Woman’ director Patty Jenkins has been touted as a possible director, although no formal talks have taken place yet.
The movie’s main character is expelled from Barbie Land for failing to live up to the perfection expected of its residents and Schumer was first linked to the role in 2016 but later pulled out due to “scheduling conflicts”.
The actress admitted she was totally “bummed” to drop out of the ‘Barbie’ film, even though she had been targeted by trolls in the wake of her casting. In a statement, she previously explained: “Sadly, I’m no longer able to commit to ‘Barbie’ due to scheduling conflicts. The film has so much promise, and Sony and Mattel have been great partners. I’m bummed, but look forward to seeing ‘Barbie’ on the big screen.”
Hathaway then signed up for the movie, which was pushed back to a 2020 release, with Alethea Jones linked to directing, and several scribes, Lindsey Beer, Jenny Bicks, Kim Caramele, Diablo Cody, Bert V. Royal and Hilary Winston, sharing writing credits.
However, there is set to be a complete overhaul of personnel when it moves from Sony to Warner Bros.

Rita Ora says her new single ‘Let You Love Me’ is about her “fear of missing out”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Ora says her new single ‘Let You Love Me’ is about her “fear of missing out”.
The 27-year-old singer – who will release her new album ‘Phoenix’ in November – has revealed her new hit single is based on a time in her life when she missed out on a “good opportunity” with an “amazing” person because of her “FOMO”.
In a BBC Radio 2 interview, she said: “My album comes out in November and we start touring next year around Europe and then in the US and so my main focus is to put this record out and give it my full soul and attention because I’ve been working on it for so long.
“I have this thing called FOMO which is ‘fear of missing out’ – I used to suffer with that a lot when I was younger and I missed out on a really good opportunity with someone who’s amazing and that song is basically about that.”
Rita – who has teamed up with ‘Girls’ co-singer Bebe Rexha for her Women In Harmony project – praised the “internet and social media” for giving “creative souls” the freedom to “put out music” without the restraints of a dedicated album release.
Rita added: “I think it’s just we, as artists, have more freedom, which I think is freaking the music industry out a little bit because of the internet and social media. The change is that we can kind of put out music if we wanted too and however we wanted too. Which for us as creative souls is incredibly powerful.
“[On Instagram] I have 13.9 million followers. But you know there’s some people that are solely, incredibly popular on social media with 20 million followers and for me, you could have your own life off that!”

Nicola Roberts “cannot wait” to have children

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicola Roberts “cannot wait” to have children.
The former Girls Aloud singer admitted she is feeling broody and has always been a “super-maternal” person.
She said: “I cannot wait to be a mum – I’ve always gravitated towards kids and babies. I’m a super-maternal person. I don’t know what it is, I just know what to do. I genuinely feel such a love inside me when I’m around kids. I think I would be a good mum. My child would be like, ‘This one is crazy but she’s great.'”
But the 32-year-old singer refused to divulge whether she is dating anyone.
She added: “I never talk about it. I just think, for me, I like to keep it private. It’s unfair to drag someone else [into the spotlight]. It’s just the way I am.”
Nicola has stayed very close to her Girls Aloud bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Cheryl Tweedy and is thankful to always have the support of her “sisters”.
She told Closer magazine: “We just laugh together. By now we know what each other are like. Kimberley will mull over something and will make sure she’s thought it out and Cheryl is impulsive. We know each other inside and out and no matter what, we don’t judge each other – that’s what sisters do.
“Your own flesh and blood can do something you don’t agree with but it doesn’t mean you don’t love her anymore. You’re just truly there for someone, no matter what. I’m lucky to have that support, to be able to go to two women and be like, ‘Guys, this is what I’m dealing with’. They’re like super women to me.”

Ryan Lochte will “immediately” seek treatment for alcohol addiction

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Lochte will “immediately” seek treatment for alcohol addiction.
The 34-year-old Olympic swimmer has admitted that he has been battling addiction for “many years” and has decided to get help to overcome his issues.
His lawyer Jeff Ostrow, told TMZ: “Ryan has been battling from alcohol addiction for many years and unfortunately it has become a destructive pattern for him.
“He has acknowledged that he needs professional assistance to overcome his problem and will be getting help immediately.
“Ryan knows that conquering this disease now is a must for him to avoid making future poor decisions, to be the best husband and father he can be, and if he wants to achieve his goal to return to dominance in the pool in his fifth Olympics in Tokyo in 2020.”
Ryan’s decision to seek treatment for his issues comes after an incident at a Southern California hotel last week involving the police.
He drunkenly attempted to kick in the door of his hotel room in Newport Beach in the early hours of the morning, leading hotel staff to call the police.
No arrests were made but the incident made Ryan see that he needs help.
Meanwhile, Ryan recently praised his wife, 27-year-old model Kayla Rae Reid, for being a positive influence on his life.
He said: “Our lives have been a roller coaster ride with everything we’ve had to deal with. No matter what has happened, she’s been there to pick me up. She’s the one that has motivated me to keep going and to keep striving for my dreams and my goals not just in sports but in life as well. I owe everything to her.”

Lena Dunham’s mom thinks she dresses her best

OHMYGOSSIP — Lena Dunham’s mom thinks she dresses her best.
The ‘Girls’ star says her and her mother Laurie Simmons “occasionally butt heads over fashion” but she thinks she does a good job and revealed she “got so many compliments” when her mom picked her outfit.
Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she said: “My mom is a very stylish woman and I would say that she and I occasionally butt heads over fashion. Sometimes. But she’s said to me before, ‘Just let me pick. Just let me pick! I can do a good job.’ One time I did [let her dress me] and I got so many compliments. It was so annoying.”
Lena previously admitted she always wants to dress like a child because she hates adult fashion.
She shared: “I was everything I’d ever wanted to be (formidably adorable), everywhere I ever wanted to go (my bedroom) and hanging with the hottest company in town (my parents). So, like the high school quarterback who can’t stop milling around the football field well into middle age, I have just continued to dress like a full-scale baby.
“When my career began to take off, I felt enormous pressure from parents, publicists, and pundits to start looking and acting like a real, live grown-up. The same thing I was celebrated for – my honesty and sense of self – was lambasted by those who felt celebrity (especially for women) meant a duty to appear camera-ready and probably sex-ready too.”

Sara Gilbert and Laurie Metcalf have both reached out to their former ‘Roseanne’ co-star Rosanne Barr – but she hasn’t responded

OHMYGOSSIP — Sara Gilbert and Laurie Metcalf have both reached out to their former ‘Roseanne’ co-star Rosanne Barr – but she hasn’t responded.
The 65-year-old disgraced actress had her eponymously titled sitcom cancelled after she caused controversy with a racist tweet, and subsequently lashed out at ABC when they announced plans for a spin-off show called ‘The Conners’, which features the ‘Roseanne’ cast without the titular star.
Now, 63-year-old Laurie – who plays Jackie Harris on the show – has said although none of the cast have spoken to Roseanne since her tweet in May, both she and Sara (who plays Darlene Conner-Healy) have sent messages to her.
When asked if she had responded, Laurie said: “Not yet.”
The cast of ‘The Conners’ are saddened by Roseanne’s firing, but 43-year-old Sara hopes that their emotions can be channeled “in an honest way into the show.”
She added: “And our show has always been able to deal with heavy topics, particularly for a sitcom. It’s been kind of built into the mix.”
The new show – which is set to air later this month – reportedly kills off Roseanne’s eponymous character, and Laurie says one scene in the first episode in which she discusses the “grief” with Sara’s character made her “choke up”.
Speaking to People magazine, she said: “Sara and I had this scene in the first show where we addressed the grief. Sometimes when you’re an actor and you have to go to that place, you substitute something, but in this case there was no need to do that, because it was there. And it was real. And still makes me choke up, because that part of it’s been really hard.”
Last month, Roseanne branded ABC’s decision to kill her character off with a rumoured opioid overdose as “cruelly insulting” to the fans of the original program.
She said: “Oh ya, they killed her. They have her die of an opioid overdose.
“There’s nothing I can do about it. It’s done. It’s over. [But it] so cruelly insults the people who loved that family in that show.”

Simon Cowell was worried about hiring Robbie Williams for ‘The X Factor’

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Cowell was worried about hiring Robbie Williams for ‘The X Factor’.
The 58-year-old music mogul admitted he was unsure whether to invite the former Take That star to join the judging panel of the talent contest because he was worried he would quickly get bored and want to quit, but he’s been relieved to find his concerns were unfounded.
He said: “I always had that worry which is, you know, after three hours he might just go, ‘I’ve had enough’.
“But I would say almost every day we would finish and then he’d email me afterwards, ‘Loved today, best day of my life blah, blah, blah’.
“It’s almost like he’s back in a group again if that makes sense.”
Though he’s known for his own vanity, Simon insists that Robbie actually has the bigger ego.
Asked which of them has the highest opinion of themselves, he told The Sun newspaper: “Oh definitely Robbie. Oh my God yeah. I just realise why he is who he is, I mean he’s so funny.
“He loves the adulation, he thrives off it but in a fun way, he doesn’t hide from it, he loves it.”
Robbie’s former Take That bandmate Gary Barlow served as head judge on ‘The X Factor’ from 2011 to 2013 but Simon admitted he prefers having the ‘Angels’ hitmaker on the panel.
He said: “I’ll be honest with you, I’ve been friends with Robbie for a number of years.
“Robbie’s a friend, so of course I’m going to say Robbie.”
Meanwhile, Robbie, 44, recently admitted he spent years being “terrified” of Simon because he turned down the chance to sign Take That in the early 1990s.
He said: “I was terrified by him and really interested in him as a person. He was an incredibly interesting guy who I was scared of! He had a chance to sign Take That and he passed on it.”
Robbie and Simon are joined on this year’s ‘X Factor’ panel by the ‘Candy’ singer’s wife Ayda Field and One Direction star Louis Tomlinson.

Molly Shannon “didn’t like” how Kim Cattrall handled her feud with Sarah Jessica Parker

OHMYGOSSIP — Molly Shannon “didn’t like” how Kim Cattrall handled her feud with Sarah Jessica Parker.
Kim, 62, lashed out publicly at her ‘Sex and the City’ co-star Sarah Jessica last year, claiming she could have been “nicer” during their time on the HBO series and its two spin-off movies, and suggesting there was an “issue” between them whilst on the show, which Sarah Jessica later denied any knowledge of.
Her comments came after plans for a third movie were cancelled after reports surfaced that Kim had made a series of diva demands, and when denying the reports, she hit out at Sarah Jessica.
Now, 53-year-old Sarah Jessica’s ‘Divorce’ co-star Molly Shannon has stuck up for her friend, saying she thought Kim should have handled any issue she had with Jessica personally.
Speaking on ‘Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen’ on Thursday (04.10.18), she said:”I just don’t think that’s the way to handle something.
“I think that if you have something like that, whether it be personal, you should deal with it personally. And Sarah Jessica’s just the greatest, so I didn’t like it.”
This isn’t the first time that the ‘Saturday Night Live’ star has shown her support for the actress in light of the feud.
She previously said: “For me, Sarah is just so supportive and so wonderful and we just get along so well.”
“She loves funny women and is just so genuinely supportive and kind, and like a ‘girls’ girl. So I just feel lucky that I get to work with her.”
Kim and Sarah Jessica’s feud reached new heights earlier this year when, following the death of Kim’s brother, Sarah Jessica reached out to send her condolences, and was met with hostility from Kim.
Kim said: “My Mom asked me today ‘When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?’ Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now.
“Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona. (sic)”

Joanna Lumley plans to live to be a “very very old woman”

OHMYGOSSIP — Joanna Lumley plans to live to be a “very very old woman”.
The 72-year-old actress has shunned the idea of there being a stigma around ageing, as she says she loves getting older and wants to live into her 90s because she’s “had a good time” as an older woman so far.
She said: “I’ve had a good time as an old woman and I plan to be a very, very old woman.”
In 2015, the ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ actress admitted than when she was 18 she had dreamed of being 30, and she now says she’s moved the scale forward as at 72, she’s dreaming of being 90.
She added: “I’ve pitched it forward to 90 now. I want to be 90.”
Joanna thinks people are “only as old as [they] feel”, and says that whilst she might not look as youthful as she did in her 20s, she’s a lot wiser now.
Speaking during an appearance on ‘The Project’ on Friday (05.10.18), she said: “So I’m 72 now … pauses for applause and gasps … and the truth is that I think … this corny old thing that you’re only as old as you feel.
‘If you just keep going, you’ve got to try to forget about what you look like because you do begin to rot away. But in here [her head], you get to know a bit more.”
The ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ actress has always had a fascination with ageing, and prior to turning 70, she revealed she was “so excited” to reach a new decade of her life.
She said in 2015: “I’ve always wanted to be old. When I was 10, I wanted to be 18. When I was 18, I wanted to be 30.
“I love old. I love old people and I always knew old would be good for me and would contain great glories.”

Jodie Whittaker: Gender is redundant on Doctor Who

OHMYGOSSIP — Jodie Whittaker thinks gender is “redundant” when it comes to playing Doctor Who.
The 36-year-old actress faced a huge backlash from many Whovians after she was announced as the first ever woman to play the time-travelling character but she insists no one is adequately qualified to play the Doctor as the Gallifreyan is an “alien with two hearts”.
Speaking on ‘BBC Breakfast’, she said: “In arguing about whether I’m qualified or not, that’s a redundant question for me, it’s an alien with two hearts so no, I’m not qualified.
“The Doctor is a character and in such a strange way it’s got so much attention, but my gender plays less of a role characterisation in this than any other role.
“Like a mother to a son who’s been murdered on a beach. I’m not walking around going, ‘I’m a girl, I’m a girl’, I don’t think about it like that.”
Jodie – who played Beth Latimer, the mother of murdered schoolboy Danny, in new ‘Doctor Who’ showrunner Chris Chibnall’s crime drama ‘Broadchurch’ – insists she is just as capable of portraying the Time Lord as her modern predecessors; Peter Capaldi, Matt Smith, David Tennant and Christopher Eccleston.
She said: “My gender didn’t play a role in that and in this, I am playing The Doctor. My energy is different. Peter’s was different to Matt’s, Matt’s was different to David and David’s was different to Chris’. The point is we all bring something to it and it should be different. Otherwise why else have a role that is regenerated?”
Jodie got a chance to speak to those other Doctors when it was finally revealed she would be making history in the part and she admits her phone conversation with her friend David – whom she starred with in ‘Broadchurch’ – was very much a blur.
She said: “Matt and David and Peter were told beforehand and I was lucky enough to speak to all three of them.
“The thing that was funny with David is that my number is already in his phone.
“It was a ridiculous phone call because I just went, ‘Argh’, and then I don’t remember anything because I was so hyper and excited and overwhelmed.”
Jodie makes her debut as the Doctor this Sunday (07.09.18) in ‘The Woman Who Fell To Earth’.

Bradley Cooper lost out on role due to lack of sex appeal

OHMYGOSSIP — Bradley Cooper once lost out of a big movie role because it was decided he “wasn’t f**able”.
The 43-year-old actor is one of Hollywood’s in-demand men following his acclaimed performances in movies such as ‘American Sniper’, ‘American Hustle’ and ‘Silver Linings Playbook’, and he has created an Oscars buzz with his directorial debut on his remake of ‘A Star Is Born’ – in which he also stars.
Cooper is proud of how far his career has come as he’s always felt like an “underdog” in the movie business and even had his sexiness questioned when he was starting out.
In an interview with W Magazine, he revealed: “I’ve always been an underdog. I was always operating under the lens of not really being seen as the ‘main guy.’
“I’ve heard it all in my career. Early on, I didn’t get a role because they said I wasn’t ‘f**kable.’ In the end, you have to reserve your attention for the work and not listen to anyone. People I care about, who care about me, told me not to direct ‘A Star Is Born’, said that it would be too difficult and I should start with something easier. Luckily, I didn’t listen. I loved that it was really, really hard to make this film. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have the same value. And that’s always been my goal: to make something, no matter how challenging, that will be remembered.”
As well as directing and starring in ‘A Star Is Born’, Cooper also co-wrote the script, contributed to several of the songs in the movie, was responsible for casting Lady Gaga as the leading lady and oversaw every detail of the production.
Cooper has been keen to branch out from appearing in front of the camera for some time as he believes he has nearly played every great role available to him.
He explained: “I always thought I had six characters in me, and I’ve already played a few of them. I’ve been a soldier [‘American Sniper’], a musician [‘A Star Is Born’], a chef [‘Burnt’], and a disfigured person [‘The Elephant Man’]. I still want to play a conductor. And then who knows?”

Ciara’s billionaire dream

OHMYGOSSIP — Ciara wants to be a billionaire.
The 32-year-old singer – who has son Future, four, with ex-husband Future, and 16-month-old Sienna with spouse Russell Wilson – has always set herself big goals and doesn’t believe there are any barriers in her way to success.
She said: “The first goal I wrote down was to get discovered. The second was to sell three to four million records. Third, have longevity.
“No dream is too big. I want to be a billionaire. I never thought, I can’t be because of the colour of my skin, I can’t be because of my gender. The more resources, the more you can do.”
But even if she does become a billionaire, the ‘Goodies’ singer admitted nothing will be a greater accomplishment than being a wife and mother.
She told America’s Cosmopolitan magazine: “I think my greatest accomplishment 10 years from now is that I would have a successful life as it pertains to my marriage and being a mom.
“It’s cool to want to do all these creative things, but it’s no good to gain the world if you lose your soul.”
Ciara tries to ignore her critics and simply focuses on achieving her goals.
She said: “When someone comes for you and you didn’t send for them, you keep your eye on the prize. I know what my mission is. I know what I’m hoping for and working hard for every day. And that’s my focus.
“I’m not going to let people steal my joy. I move on. New day, new opportunity, new energy, let’s go.”
After giving birth to her daughter last year, the ‘Level Up’ singer vowed to make time for herself so now fits in three workouts a day to feel good and look “sexy”.
She said: “It was kind of like, wake up in the morning, breastfeed, eat a small meal, go train, come back in, breastfeed, eat another meal, go train, then come back, have another meal, and then a third training session at night.
“It was a good challenge, one I set for myself, not for anyone else. Taking care of myself makes me feel really good. And I want to keep it sexy too, you know.”

Kate Moss celebrated her daughter’s 16th birthday on holiday

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Moss’s daughter Lila Grace celebrated her 16th birthday on holiday with her mum.
The 44-year-old supermodel took her only child – whose father is publisher Jefferson Hack – to a mystery destination to commemorate the milestone birthday along with the teenager’s godmother Sadie Frost, 53, and her daughter, Iris Law.
Model Iris, 17, shared a picture of mother and daughter smiling on a boat ride, and both were bare faced, while Kate wore a simple black kaftan dress over a bikini and Lila donned an oversized Gucci t-shirt.
Iris – whose father is Sadie’s ex-husband Jude Law – published a series of pictures from the holiday, the first showing Lila eating Nutella from the jar as she sat at a table in a simple blue vest with wet hair.
And Iris simply wrote “Sixteen” over the image.
The second photo featured the teen smiling and Iris had added the caption “my” along with a giant yellow heart emoji.
More festivities were held on Sunday (30.09.18) at Sexy Fish in Mayfair, where the iconic model enjoyed a non-alcoholic drink, in keeping with her new clean and sober lifestyle.
Kate has reportedly been alcohol free for over a year after turning a new leaf due to the effects of years of boozing.
A source previously said: “Kate is like a new woman and a much better version of herself. She is focused, professional and glowing with health.
“Everyone is amazed at how well she has done in not drinking for a whole year, considering what she used to be like.
“But she has found it easier as time has gone on — and when you see her she is actually more chatty and confident as she doesn’t have that fake confidence that drinking gives you.”

Cardi B to report to police

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B is set to turn herself into police over a strip club fight in August.
The ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker will reportedly meet with officers on Monday (01.10.18) and is expected to be charged with two misdemeanour offences, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, after allegedly ordering an attack on two bartenders at Angels Strip Club in Queens, New York.
Sources told TMZ that Cardi won’t be arrested when she visits police but will receive a summons to appear in court on the charges.
It was previously claimed the 25-year-old rapper had a long-standing issue with bartenders Jade and Baddie Gi because of Cardi’s mistaken belief Jade had slept with her husband Offset.
And when she came face-to-face with the sisters at the club, where Offset was performing with his band Migos, she allegedly ordered her entourage to attack them with bottles, chairs and a hookah smoking device.
The women were both hurt, but declined medical attention.
However, insiders claim the attack was “spontaneous” and triggered after someone threw a drink.
Jade previously claimed that on August 15, five people close to Cardi attacked her by “grabbing her hair, punching her and hitting her with an ashtray”.
And on August 29, the sisters claimed Cardi’s entourage threw bottles and chairs at them both.
While they admit Cardi did not physically attack them, they have claimed that she yelled “I’m blood, I’ll f**k you bitches up!”
The ‘I Like It’ hitmaker – who has 11-week-old daughter Kulture with her spouse – has denied the allegations against her and previously accused the sisters of seeking publicity.
