Seann Walsh’s ex-girlfriend responds to TV apology

OHMYGOSSIP — Seann Walsh’s ex-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries has responded to his TV apology for kissing Katya Jones – after he failed to mention her name.
The actress took to Twitter to like a number of tweets from people who watched him admit he was “very sorry” for the “hurt” he has caused after he and his ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ partner were pictured kissing last week, despite him being in a relationship with Rebecca at the time, and Katya being married to fellow pro dancer Neil Jones.
Rebecca – who has since dumped Seann following the incident – showed her affection for several messages on Twitter which hit out at the comedian for not name-checking her during his latest apology, which came on last night’s (10.10.18) ‘Strictly: It Takes Two’.
One of the tweets she liked read: “he could have at least mentioned @beckshumps name instead of skirting around the fact he hasn’t apologised to her, just for the ‘hurt he has caused’.
also the way he says ‘the people who know me most.. and love me..’?? um are you suggesting she never loved you @seannwalsh?? ugh (sic)”
Another read: “He *still* didn’t actually say sorry or give any reference to @Beckshumps #sorrynotsorry (sic)”
One read: “I feel so desperately frustrated & sad for @Beckshumps having just watched the ‘apology’ that @seannwalsh gave. NO relationship is perfect, it takes kindness, consideration, communication &understanding. But most of all please have the decency to SAY her name? Apologise to her! (sic)”
During the episode, Seann admitted his and Rebecca’s five-year relationship “wasn’t perfect”, but he didn’t want it to end in such a way.
He said: “I made a mistake, which I’m very sorry for – sorry for the hurt that I’ve caused.
“You never think about the extent of the damage that you’re going to do, in a moment of, you know the mistake that you’ve made.
“I’m not perfect, far from it. Our relationship wasn’t perfect. That doesn’t mean I wanted it to end the way it finally did, and I’m very sorry for that.
“I feel it’s also important for me to say that the people that know me the most, that love me, they know that I am not the person I’m being portrayed as. I’m still sorry for what I did, but it’s very important for me to get that out there.”
His comments come after Rebecca wrote a statement earlier this week claiming Seann had called her “a psycho” and “mental” for suggesting “something inappropriate was going on” between him and Katya.
She wrote: “Those pictures were taken on October 3rd. It was my birthday. I was alone at home when Sean texted at 10pm saying the two of them were going for one innocent drink. We spoke and I told him, not for the first time, that his actions over the past three weeks had led me to believe something inappropriate was going on. He aggressively, and repeatedly called me a psycho / nuts / mental. As he has done countless times throughout our relationship when I’ve questioned his inappropriate, hurtful behaviour. (sic)”
Katya has insisted her marriage to Neil is “absolutely fine”.
Speaking last night, she said: “Obviously I apologise, and I can’t apologise enough to everyone who it hurt and involved.
“But, the main thing, me and Neil are absolutely fine and that’s what matters to me the most right now and focusing on my job and doing it as professionally I can.”

The One Show’s Rickshaw Challenge back for 2018

OHMYGOSSIP — The One Show’s Rickshaw Challenge will return this year.
Matt Baker will join a team of six youngsters, all supported by BBC Children in Need-funded projects, to take on a gruelling 423-mile route from Calais to Salford over eight days for this year’s Tour de Rickshaw, which will begin in France on November 9 and conclude on November 16 in Salford during the ‘BBC Children in Need Appeal Show’.
The ‘One Show’ presenter said: “This is the eighth year that we’ll be heading out on the roads with the Rickshaw Challenge and I can’t wait to get back in the saddle alongside six truly inspirational young people.
“Every year the support that we get never ceases to amaze me, it’s fantastic to see how people from all across the UK get behind the challenge and I’m looking forward to seeing all those friendly faces willing us on again this year, and helping us to raise so much money for a charity which is incredibly close to my heart.”
Matt’s ‘The One Show’ co-host Alex Jones added: “The Rickshaw Challenge is a chance for our viewers to really see how funding from BBC Children in Need is making a difference to young people’s lives.
“It’s one of the highlights of our year at ‘The One Show’, and I can’t wait to cheer on the team as they conquer another epic journey across the country on the rickshaw.”
The team will begin the annual challenge – which is in its eighth year – by pedalling 31 miles through the service tunnel of the Channel Tunnel before heading north from Folkestone, and finally finishing in Salford.
Experts at McLaren Racing and McLaren Applied Technologies have created a next generation rickshaw for the charity ride.
The One Show’s Rickshaw Challenge began in 2011 and has raised more than £21 million for BBC Children in Need since.
And this year, the public can also lend their support through pedalling by logging their own miles through cycling app Strava, which will automatically add their distance to the collective total.
‘The One Show’ viewers will be able to follow Team Rickshaw’s progress on the show each day, but the full route – including a real-time update of the rickshaw’s progress – is also available at http://pudsey.viewranger.com/.

Christopher McQuarrie says Mission: Impossible could go into space

OHMYGOSSIP — Christopher McQuarrie plans to take the ‘Mission: Impossible’ franchise into space.
The American filmmaker – who helmed ‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’ and ‘Mission: Impossible – Fallout’ – has revealed he’s interested in relocating the film series because the movies have already “gone to the edge”.
Asked about the possibility of taking ‘Mission: Impossible’ into space, Christopher responded: “I think it’s inevitable. We’ve pretty much gone to the edge of thereof, so yeah, it’s sooner or later, Tom [Cruise] is gonna be in orbit.
“If there’s an actor that’s going to be the first actor in space practically, it’s Tom, or it’s somebody … it’s [James] Cameron, Chris Nolan, or Tom. Gonna be one of those three guys. That is the new space race.”
Christopher has already been approached about making another ‘Mission: Impossible’ movie, but the director is keen to take a break from the franchise for the time being.
Christopher also said he’s fortunate that Tom – who stars as Ethan Hunt – is currently busy shooting another movie.
He told Collider: “That question has been floated, and I’m … fortunately Tom’s busy on another project. And I’m kind of taking a breather, and just thinking about … clearing my head. I’ve been on ‘Mission’ for five years. Two of them, back to back.
“We went right from one into the other one, so certainly they asked that question, and I said, ‘Can I just breathe for a minute, and think about that?’ So that’s kind of where we are.”

Matthew McConaughey cast in Guy Ritchie’s Toff Guys

OHMYGOSSIP — Matthew McConaughey has been cast in Guy Ritchie’s new crime drama ‘Toff Guys’.
The 48-year-old actor will star alongside the likes of Kate Beckinsale and Henry Golding in the upcoming movie, which is based on a script written by Guy, Marn Davies and Ivan Atkinson, according to Variety.
The drama centres on the story of a British drug lord who is attempting to sell off his business to a dynasty of Oklahoma billionaires.
Rights to the film were sold to Miramax for $30 million during the Cannes Film Festival and production will begin later this year in England.
‘Toff Guys’ is said to be vaguely similar to some of Guy’s earlier career successes, such as ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’ and ‘Snatch’.
Meanwhile, Guy previously admitted he feels under more pressure than ever to make memorable movies because of the increasing quality of TV productions.
Discussing the competition between TV and cinema, he explained: “To a degree cinema has become a sensational format, so you have to respect the rules of contemporary cinema. Because why do you go the cinema now, when TV can give you so much?
“You do need more from cinema than you used to. It needs to be an event of sorts just because television has become so interesting. There seems to be a polarisation between what cinema needs to do now and what TV needs to do.
“So I’m aware of the rules of contemporary cinema but it does need to be an experience, otherwise there’s no point, you’re just making TV.”

Lindsey Buckingham thinks Fleetwood Mac exit went against band’s message

OHMYGOSSIP — Lindsey Buckingham admits being sacked from Fleetwood Mac “breaks his heart” because it went against their “legacy”.
The 69-year-old musician was booted from the ‘Go Your Own Way’ group earlier this year as the band cited disagreements over their upcoming tour, with Mike Campbell and Neil Finn stepping in to replace him.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, he said: “Am I heartbroken about not doing another tour with Fleetwood Mac? No, because I can see that there are many other areas to look into.
“The one thing that does bother me and breaks my heart is we spent 43 years always finding a way to rise above our personal differences and our difficulties to pursue and articulate a higher truth.
“That is our legacy. That is what the songs are about. This is not the way you end something like this.”
In an announcement earlier this year, the group – made up of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, and Stevie Nicks – wished Lindsey “all the best”.
They said in a statement: “Lindsey Buckingham will not be performing with the band on this tour. The band wishes Lindsey all the best.”
Drummer Mick has assured fans the “unmistakable Mac sound” will still be on show at their concerts, which begin in June.
He said: “Fleetwood Mac has always been about an amazing collection of songs that are performed with a unique blend of talents.
“We jammed with Mike and Neil and the chemistry really worked and let the band realise that this is the right combination to go forward with in Fleetwood Mac style.
“We know we have something new, yet it’s got the unmistakable Mac sound.”
Lindsey initially joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975 before departing in 1987, but he re-joined the group in 1997.

The 42-year-old chef – who has teamed up with ‘The F Word’ star Ramsay and ‘First Dates’ host Fred Sirieix, for a new cookery show – admitted his pal would “bash his willy” on the his foot to awaken him from his slumber whilst they stayed in the show’s “caravan beds”.

He said: “Gordon had this thing in the morning, to wake me up, no seriously, he used to wake me up, and he actually admitted it, to wake me up he used to bash his willy on my foot.”
Trying to contain her laughter, Holly covered her face and Phil quickly replied: “Did he?”
Gino added: “Every morning, it was like, boop boop, wakey wakey. I was like, ‘Are you for real? Every morning?”
He also joked that Gordon is “a big boy” in a number of ways during the rude chat.
He said: “I had to sleep with Gordon in these caravan beds. [We had to spoon] because he’s a big boy in every way.”
The foodie threesome will join forces for ITV programme ‘The Ultimate Road Trip’, which will see them take on various food challenges in different cities.

Chizzy Audolu misses Loose Women due to illness

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Loose Women’ was left with an empty seat when Chizzy Akudolu pulled out, until Kay McAdams rushed in to save the day.
At the beginning of the show on Thursday afternoon (11.10.18), viewers were joined by hosts Nadia Sawalha, Carol McGiffin and Jane Moore, and it was revealed regular panellist Chizzy had called in sick at the last minute with a stomach bug, leaving a noticeable vacancy.
Instead, Kay was called in to fill the seat, and she appeared in a hilarious video in which she apologised for having “yesterday’s make-up on” but was on her way to the ITV talk show on her bike.
Addressing the unfilled spot, Nadia told viewers: “Poor old Chizzy is down with a bug. We called Kaye [Adams] and she’s on her way here on a bike.”
In the video shown to viewers, Kay joked that she looked “like a complete wreck” as she made the unexpected journey to the studio.
She said: “I’ve got yesterday’s make-up on, I’ve been up since half past five, I look like a complete wreck. I apologise in advance but I will see you very, very soon!”
Fans cheered and applauded the panellist as she walked in wearing denim jeans and a grey fleece, whilst holding her much-needed cup of coffee.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “Kaye adams looks great whats your secret when i am late and rushing I look like I come out of a wind tunnel (sic)”
Sharing a clip of Kay’s arrival on social media, ‘Loose Women’ sent the team’s best wishes to Chizzy as she recovers.

Sir Rod Stewart admits to making ‘inappropriate’ music

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Rod Stewart admits some of his music has become dated in light of the #MeToo movement.
The 73-year-old rock legend has confessed that he now considers some of his tracks to be inappropriate, but he explained that “everything was different” when he began as a musician.
Asked whether some of his most famous tracks would be considered inappropriate in the modern day, Rod said: “Oh absolutely, I couldn’t write a song like ‘Tonight’s The Night’ now even if I wanted to.
“But you know ‘Hot Legs’ is even worse – everything was different then, the clothes, the attitude, even the recording.”
The #MeToo movement – which started on social media – is designed to fight sexual harassment and sexual assault.
Rod has embraced the new movement through a track on his latest album, ‘Look In Her Eyes’, which calls on young men to be respectful towards women.
He told the Independent: “It’s saying: Come on guys back off, you don’t have to get drunk and throw her over a park bench to try and get your way.”
Although the ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain’ singer is an advocate of the #MeToo campaign, he claims to have never witnessed any inappropriate behaviour during his time in the music business.
He said: “No listen, I’ve got to try and remember, I’ve been on tour with Stevie Nicks and Cyndi Lauper but I haven’t really been around enough women.
“I’ve got six women in my band and I look after them all like they’re princesses, but I can’t quite answer your question. I wasn’t around; I didn’t see it, let me put it down to that.”

Corey Taylor defend rock music after AMAs

OHMYGOSSIP — Corey Taylor has claimed rock and metal music is seen as “dirty money”.
The Slipknot frontman took aim at industry bosses for marginalising heavy, guitarist-based music after rap group Migos won the Favorite Duo/Group – Pop/Rock prize at the American Music Awards on Tuesday (09.10.18).
Asked why rock music is ignored in this way – and on the radio – Corey tweeted: “They know it makes money. But to them it’s dirty money.
“To them, real rock/metal is: neanderthal, low brow, common. Too much attitude. They can’t control us. They can’t use us to sell Pepsi. So f**k the industry. They’ll burn soon anyway… they always do.”
A fan pointed out that the ‘Psychosocial’ hitmakers did win a Grammy Award in 2009 for their hit ‘Before I Forget’ – which won Best Metal Performance – with their nine other nominations coming in that and the Hard Rock Performance and Best Rock Album categories.
Corey argued: “We got one back when there were actual rock/metal bands nominated and winning. But that was only one of two categories they’ve allowed us to have.
“Now they’ve whittled us down to one category. And nominate bands/acts that have no business in it, sometimes.”
His comments come after Bring Me The Horizon star Oli Sykes suggested that breaking down barriers between genres could only be a good thing.
He previously said: “We have a little more appeal to the mainstream now, which is what we’ve aimed for.
“We wanted to bring what we do to a wider audience, and show that rock doesn’t have to be this weird, scary thing.
“It feels like indie and rock and other types of music is merging together. People that listen to The 1975 are also listening to Bring Me The Horizon.”

Susie Dent received fan mail written in blood

OHMYGOSSIP — Susie Dent received fan mail written in blood.
Countdown’s Dictionary Corner star has admitted she was disturbed by the bizarre note, which left her feeling “dizzy” when she realised what she had been sent.
She is quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper as saying “It made me dizzy thinking about it. It was a slightly strange one.”
Her unusual experience comes after the Channel 4 teatime quiz’s host Nick Hewer admitted he once received a pair of racy knickers from one admirer.
Speaking on the show, he told co-star Rachel Riley: “They were red net. I gave them to one of the ladies in the gallery and we didn’t see her for three days.”
However, Susie revealed she’s not experienced that, although she suggested the programme’s team do a good job of checking post before mail is passed on.
She added: “I’ve certainly not had any knickers – male or otherwise – that I know of. The team are wonderful, I think they probably check things before they pass them on.”
‘Countdown’, which was originally hosted by Richard Whiteley with Carol Vorderman as his sidekick, first hit television screens when the network began in November 1982.
It was confirmed last year the programme had been commissioned until 2019, with Channel 4 bosses calling for around 260 episodes a year.
Nick revealed at the time: “The show is doing great. I don’t know about the opposition from other shows as scheduling is a mystery to me. All I know is that C4 want 260 shows a year which is more than [2016] so obviously they are happy.”

Gemma Oaten nearly died 4 times during anorexia battle

OHMYGOSSIP — Gemma Oaten nearly died four times while battling anorexia.
The former ‘Emmerdale’ actress spent her teenage years in and out of hospitals as part of a 13-year struggle with the eating disorder, and while she is “not ashamed” of what she has been through, Gemma wishes she had spoken to someone “sooner”.
She wrote on Instagram: “For 13 years anorexia took over my life and nearly took my life. It was a rollercoaster. Truly. One minute I’d be fed up (literally) in hospital, a psychiatric unit or an eating disorders unit and the next I’d lose the weight because my mind still wasn’t fed properly…the issues I had were in my state of mental health. Anorexia was my control, my comfort, my escape… Or so I thought. No problem we have mentally is ever resolved unless we talk and feel it. I spent my teens in and out of these units and hospitals. But it wasn’t until I found a way of being able to talk and address that I truly began to get better. I nearly died 4 times… That’s the power mental health has when it’s goes wrong. I was unsure whether to share the photos but they are mild in terms of how truly ill I was, I don’t think I could ever show those ones. It’s too disturbing, for me and others. My point is, I’m not ashamed of my past struggles. They moulded the woman I am today in so many ways. I wish I had spoke out sooner and had the correct help I needed but that was then and this is now… Conversations are happening and it makes me so happy and proud that we now know openly… It’s OK to not be OK. It’s OK, we’re not perfect, and why would we want to be? Who defines that? (sic)”
Gemma shared several pictures of her differing looks over the years and while she still experiences anxiety, the 34-year-old star “feels in control” because she is able to talk about her mental health issues.
She added: “All I hope to achieve by sharing this post is that you look at picture 4, me now, and see recovery is possible…however, I’ll be totally honest, I still battle with my mental health in the form of anxiety, but the difference is I talk about it and feel in control. Talk, be brave, be open. One day I may tell the full story. Don’t be blinkered by this image of flawless social media… Know that everyone you meet has their own battles. One day I may tell of mine the past year and what I’ve had to face, but what I want you to see is that by talking, by addressing, by unashamedly you, you can get through. #mentalhealthawareness #bekindtoyou #worldmentalhealthday #eatingdisordersawareness #itsoktonotbeok (sic)”
Earlier this year, Gemma – who played Rachel Breckle in ‘Emmerdale’ – revealed her weight dropped to just four and a half stone at the height of her anorexia battle.
She said: “If it wasn’t for my dad, I would be dead. He was right. I just wanted it all to end. Had my dad not taken me home from the psychiatric unit, I would have died. The memories of my time in hospital were very bleak and full of despair.”

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley swears by a $15 ‘hero product’

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Huntington-Whiteley uses a $15 “hero product” for her lips and hands.
The 31-year-old model swears by an all-natural multi-purpose balm from Australian company Lanolips, saying it “isn’t smothering or heavy” and gives “serious lasting hydration” for skin and lips.
Rosie wrote on her new website: “This ultra-pure formula isn’t smothering or heavy, as some balms tend to be. (You know the kind: feels good when it’s on, but when it fades, your lips are back to the surface of Mars.)
“It can hold up to 400 times its weight in water, for one thing. Dab this blend on all you’ve got from lips to nips–and anything in between–for some serious, lasting hydration.
“This balm creates a barrier that serves as a reservoir of moisture, yet it still breathes. Not too greasy, not too heavy–just right. (sic)”
The blonde beauty suggests using the product in the evening for smooth and supple skin in the morning.
She said: “Dab a little on your lips in the evening, then rub the excess into your cuticles for smoother mitts in the morning.”
The British model – who has 15-month-old son called Jack with actor Jason Statham – has previously shared her five-minute beauty regime.
She said: “First off I start with a little beauty elixir and I spritz it on my face which gives a really nice healthy smoothing glow and it tingles and it feels amazing
“The next product I use is glow cream which gives this amazing illuminating feel, then I use BB cream which gives a baby skin affect so anything that says that on the tin can go on my face.”

Little Mix feel ‘comfortable in their own skin’

OHMYGOSSIP — Little Mix’s new cosmetic line is a reflection of them being “comfortable in their own skin”.
The ‘Black Magic’ foursome – made up of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – have released an exclusive make-up range that includes nude lip-liners, matte lip paint and colourful palettes, which reflect their different personalities.
Speaking to Glamour magazine, Jade said: “We’ve literally always wanted to do our own make-up range, we just had to wait for the right time.
“We really wanted to make sure if we did it, we were going to do it properly and do it well. We’re all very much comfortable in our own skin and know exactly what we like to wear make-up wise, what we wanted to create, so yeah, it’s definitely the perfect time to do it now.”
Jade explained that the girls all took a very hands-on approach to the products.
She said: “We came up with all the names, for all the shades. So with the eye-shadow palette, every single shade references one of our songs or song lyrics. From the get-go, we’ve been involved in the whole process, what shades they are, what products…
“The packaging design. We’ve been involved with everything and that was really important for us. If it’s our name to this brand, it has to be done well and properly.”
The pop group – who are releasing their new single ‘Woman Like You’ from their highly anticipated upcoming fifth studio album on Friday (12.10.18) – confessed they’ve “had so much fun” with their new venture, which is exclusive to Boots.
Leigh-Anne added: “I can’t believe this is our brand, it’s so cool!”

Joe Tracini felt like he was ‘going to die’ during panic attack

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Tracini felt like he was “going to die” while suffering a panic attack on Monday (08.10.18).
The ‘Hollyoaks’ star has been outspoken about his battles with anxiety and suicidal thoughts in the past, and on World Mental Health Day (10.10.18) he revealed he spent two days recovering and “being able to do nothing” after a recent panic attack, which felt like he was being “beaten up from the inside out”.
He said: “I’m going to tell you about my last couple of days. I had a panic attack on a train in Preston on Monday. If you’ve not had a panic attack – they’re fun.
“If by fun you mean, feel like you’re going to die. It took me two days to recover – I’ve literally spent two days being able to do nothing.
“It was like I was wearing a knuckleduster with ‘kill yourself’ written on it and my own voice was pummelling the inside of my forehead with it non-stop for 48 hours.”
Joe – who plays Dennis Savage in the Channel 4 soap – has urged others to tell people about it if they are experience similar feelings, and admits he is not “ashamed” of what happened to him.
In a video posted on his Twitter account, Joe added: “Why am I telling you? Because I shouldn’t be ashamed of that happening, because I didn’t pick it.
“I’m telling all of you people that I don’t know that that happened to me. I didn’t do that thing that my brain was telling me to do. I waited and waited and felt like I was being beaten up from the inside out.
“But I woke up today and it was gone, which is lovely.
“If you feel like that, if you feel anything, please tell somebody.
“Not just today, every day.”
Joe – whose father is comedian Joe Pasquale – recently admitted his brain sometimes tells him that taking his only life is the “best and only option” he has.
He said: “Something I’ve learnt is life is a stack of moments and you can only ever see one at a time, and sometimes my brain tells me that taking my life is the best and only option I’ve got.
“I know this happens to a lot of people.
“I think the important thing to tell myself and anybody else is that in that moment you might feel like that and you might feel like that in the next one, but there will always be a moment where you won’t feel like that.
“So please wait for it.”

Adwoa Aboah: Rihanna would look sick with a shaved head

OHMYGOSSIP — Adwoa Aboah thinks Rihanna would look “sick with a shaved head”.
The 26-year-old model – who is a Global Brand Ambassador for Revlon alongside Ashley Graham and Imaan Hammam – has revealed that her trademark shaved hair happened because she never “had a proper loving relationship” with her tresses.
Speaking to ELLE UK magazine, Adwoa said: “It all started when I had a really bad haircut! I’d just moved to LA and went to a new hairdressers and ended up with this weird Vidal Sassoon-style sculptural cut that was a nightmare to look after.
“I’ve never had a proper loving relationship with my hair anyway so the idea of doing anything with it at all just became really exhausting – it felt natural to just shave it all off.
“Dree Hemingway just shaved her hair and she looks epic, and Dilone has gone really short which I love. Rihanna would look sick with a shaved head.
“But, there’s some girls with amazing hair that should never shave it off. When I see their hair, that’s when I get a bit envious. Solange has the best hair in the whole entire world so she should just keep it forever!”
The founder of ‘Gurls Talk’ confessed she grew up with a lot of “insecurities” because the fashion industry lacked diversity.
Adwoa explained: “Growing up was a confusing time for me, luckily I had amazing strong and powerful women around me in my family and friends, so they were the ones I looked up to.
“I had a lot of insecurities, but my freckles were never one of them because my mum and my uncle have them as well, so I always loved them.
“I look through magazines now and I see loads of different women that I can relate to and who are admired for being different, which I think is so amazing.”

Modelling helped Holly Willoughby ‘come out of her shell’

OHMYGOSSIP — Modelling helped Holly Willoughby “come out of her shell”.
The 37-year-old TV personality – who rose to fame at the age of 14 after being scouted by top agency Storm and posing for teen magazines like Mizz – has claimed that modelling helped to boost her self-confidence.
Speaking on the ‘Beauty Full Lives’ podcast with Madeleine Spencer, Holly said: “I really think it helped me come out of my shell because I wasn’t the most confident person at school.
“All my school friends still can’t understand how I’m doing the job that I’m doing because they’re like, ‘You were the one with your sleeve pulled down over your hand and your jumper over your mouth because you were too scared to look anyone in the eye.'”
The ‘This Morning’ host also revealed the “functional” contents of her make-up bag, which includes Caudalie Beauty Elixir facial spray, a pencil from Lily Lilo, Eyeko’s Waterproof Shadow Liner, and a Burt’s Bees lipstick.
The blonde beauty insisted she has a simple approach to skincare as she didn’t grow up in a house with lots of “pots and potions and lotions”.
She said: “I didn’t grow up looking at my mum and seeing all these pots and potions and lotions and think, ‘Oh my god, this is the world for me I love all of this.’
“But at the same time that probably gave me quite a healthy outlook on it all which was it wasn’t something, it wasn’t like, ‘Oh Holly, you must look after your skin you must look after your skin.'”
