OHMYGOSSIP — Dame Esther Rantzen is to star on a new Channel 5 show inspired by ‘That’s Life!’
The 78-year-old presenter – who hosted the BBC One satirical consumer investigation series from 1973 until 1994 – is “happy to be working”, and plans to announce her new TV project at the end of the year.
She told The Sun’s Bizarre TV column: “I’m doing a new consumer show with Channel 5. It’s going to be similar to ‘That’s Life!’ and we’re hoping to announce it towards the end of the year.
“I’m happy to still be working and don’t fancy retirement yet.”
In July, the ChildLine founder was said to be in talks to bring ‘That’s Life!’ back to TV screens for the first time in 24 years, and she believes a modern version of magazine show would be a big hit with viewers nowadays.
She previously said: “Discussion about the show returning comes and goes.
“It is on the boil as we speak, so it’s going to be interesting to see what happens.
“I think you could update That’s Life! very well.
“By using emails and YouTube the show could be just as much fun but more up to date. I think it would be lovely to have it back.
“I think we need it back. There are so many scams around that are still driving people nuts. And there are so many ridiculous rules.”
‘That’s Life!’ attracted more than 18 million viewers at its peak, and the show led to Esther setting up charity ChildLine, which promotes child protection, in 1986.

OHMYGOSSIP — Carey Mulligan “used to freak out” if she didn’t have another acting job lined up.
The ‘Great Gatsby’ star admits she used to panic if she didn’t know what acting job she was going onto next but there are more important things to her now.
She said: “I used to freak out if I didn’t have back-to-back work lined up.”
And the 33-year-old actress admits she “sometimes feels like an imposter” because she didn’t go to drama school or university.
She added: “Sometimes I felt like an imposter. I didn’t get into drama school, I didn’t go to university, so this was my homework … I was a drama geek, I was most definitely not one of the cool girl.”
The blonde beauty’s number one priority now is her two children, who she shares with her husband Marcus Mumford.
She shared to The Sunday Times’ Style magazine: “Now I have children I just don’t have the time. I’ve run out of steam by 7.30 … The first time I did press after I’d had my daughter, she was one month old. I literally ran to the red carpet, did it, ran home, pulled off my dress and fed her in my Spanx and 6in heels.”
Meanwhile, Carey previously confessed she used to cry after red carpet events.
She said: “I hated all of it – the interviews, the red carpets. I used to get to the end of a red carpet and start crying – I felt so uncomfortable. It took a lot out of me and it was an alien environment that I felt completely out of kilter with. These days it’s all fun, that’s the only way to take it. Something like that would never scare me now in the way it did then.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley and Roger Mathews have celebrated their anniversary – amidst their divorce.
The couple announced they were separating last month but Roger is pulling out all the stops in a bid to get her back.
Sharing a picture from their anniversary dinner, he captioned it: “Rome wasn’t built in a day.”
Meanwhile, the businessman previously vowed to “win back” his wife.
He said: “I’m not done fighting. I am going to win my wife back. I’m going to win her affection back, I am going to win her love back. I have no intentions on being a single dad. We’re in counseling so there is hope. It ain’t over ’til the fat lady sings.”
Jenni filed for divorce from last month, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
The court documents state that Jenni would like “primary residential custody” of their two children – Meilani Alexandra, four, and Greyson Valor, two – but is asking Roger to pay child support, health insurance and other expenses related to healthcare. And when it comes to their property, JWoww has requested they split anything they acquired during their relationship in half.
The split came as a shock to most as the couple always appeared to be “very much in love”.
A source said: “They always seemed very stable and very much in love. Roger was always supporting her at events, nights out or any place she needed to be. I always thought he was a good partner for her – much better than the guy she dated before him.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Piper has left ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 35-year-old philanthropist and her professional partner Gorka Marquez was booted out of the competition on Sunday night (14.10.18), losing out in the dance off to Charles Venn and Karen Clifton.
Speaking after her exit, she said: “I have taken a lot from this experience and it has all been really positive, and I’ll never forget this journey. Charles was the better dancer out of us two and there are some brilliant dancers in this competition and sadly I don’t think I was one of them! But I have had a great experience you know and I feel really privileged to have been here and thanks for your advice and thank you [Gorka] for all the hours! One thing as well all the public not just the audience here but the general public have been so supportive online and have voted for me the other weeks so I feel thrilled to have been here for four weeks. So thank you to everyone.”
Whilst Gorka added: “Well first of all thank you, for being such a wonderful human because you know everyone knows how much you have been through and everything but to get the chance to know you and be working with you and get to know how strong you are, how always wanting to be better and improve. For me that’s my lesson and what I learnt from you.”
Katie and Gorka performed their Jive to ‘Why Do Fools Fall In Love’ once again, with all the judges Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Shirley Ballas opting to save Charles and Karen.

OHMYGOSSIP — Drake was “gassed” to find out Adele was at his show.
The ‘In My Feelings’ hitmaker was shocked to find out the pop superstar was in the audience at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles.
He wrote on Twitter: “Oiiiiiii don’t f**king get me gassed right now I love this woman and she came to the show. Thank god nobody told me I would have been SHOOK (sic)”
Adele had earlier posted a tweet where she admitted Drake had “blew her mind”.
Alongside a heart emoji, she wrote: “Oii Champagne Papi blew my mind tonight! Best production I’ve ever seen hands down and way up there with one of my favorite shows of all time. Huge love (sic)”
Meanwhile, Drake previously opened up about his ambitions to be a Hollywood actor and he would love to take six months to a year out of music to carve out a career in the film industry but he insists he would always go back to music, his first love, afterwards.
He said: “I’m sure I’ll stop [making music] one day. When it starts to feel like I’m making it up. Hopefully I’ll catch it before I ever get there, right? But right now it feels like we just started, so I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. But I do plan on expanding – to take six months or a year to myself and do some great films. Music’s always there.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have reportedly split.
The couple are said to have called time on their engagement but aren’t ruling anything out when it comes to the future of their romance.
According to TMZ, the pair decided to end their relationship this weekend after agreeing that it just wasn’t working out. The former couple reportedly still have love for each other and haven’t ruled out something happening again one day.
It comes just a day after Ariana’s manager Scooter Braun said the star still “needs time” to recover after a tough few years, which saw 22 people die at her concert in Manchester, north west England after a suicide bomber detonated a bomb in the arena’s foyer area and more recently, the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller from a suspected overdose at the age of just 26.
Scooter said: “One of the most amazing things about this organization is that they help people when they’re having the worst moments in their life, and they give sympathy and a calm nature to people in need in those moments. And you saw your invite, someone I’m very close to was supposed to come sing for you today, and because of things that she’s going through, she couldn’t be here today. And while I was frustrated, being the manager, my wife, being who she always is, just looked at me and she goes, ‘She needs this time.'”
Meanwhile, Pete previously revealed he and Ariana bonded over their failed relationships.
He said: “Timing I feel like is everything, and we both were in a similar situation at the same time. It’s like the weirdest, coolest thing that’s ever happened.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ayda Field doesn’t get jealous over her husband’s Robbie Williams long list of ex-lovers.
The 39-year-old actress insists she isn’t worried about who her spouse has been with before and joked that it’s a “running joke” between the pair.
Asked if she’s the jealous type, she told The Sun newspaper: “Robbie has slept with pretty much all of the UK, I couldn’t possibly be a jealous person. I think, ‘Yep manw***e.’ Former manw***e. It’s my running joke that every time we turn on the TV he’s slept with someone. But it happened, it was like an American, and I’m like, ‘Really that one too?’ He was a dirty boy but I love him he’s my dirty boy.”
Meanwhile, Ayda previously revealed her and Robbie are living in a “pink love bubble” with their new baby Coco at the moment.
She revealed: “Rob and I and the kids are over the moon, we’re in a pink love bubble now. I feel so, so grateful. I just didn’t ever think this would happen. I thought I was gonna lose, and this wasn’t meant to be, but for her [Coco] to be in our lives, it’s more than I can put into words. I’m a very, very fortunate mommy.”
Robbie recently shared that Coco is a lot “more chilled” than his other kids – Theodora, six, and Charlton, three – were as babies.
He said: “On the third one, you know, the kids are fighting, the TV is on and baby stays asleep and I think because we’re more chilled, she’s more chilled. The kids, there’s no jealousy, there’s just lots of love. OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna hailed her daughter Lourdes the “light of her life” on her 22nd birthday.
The 60-year-old Queen of Pop – who has her eldest child with ex-partner Carlos Leon – took to Instagram on Sunday (14.10.18) to share a series of photos of them together to mark the occasion.
The first picture was taken at Lourdes’ birthday dinner and saw them sharing a sweet embrace.
The ‘Like a Virgin’ hitmaker captioned the shot: “Happy Birthday to My Darling Lolita!! Light of my Life! Me Preciosa! #littlestar (sic)”
In a second picture taken at a fashion show, Madonna added: “You”ll Never know How Much I Love You Love You Love You Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon! (sic)”
It’s the ‘Holiday’ singer’s tradition to celebrate her kids’ birthdays by sharing pictures of them on the social media app.
In August, Madonna’s son Rocco – whom she has with ex-husband Guy Ritchie – turned 18, and to ring in the milestone age she posted some adorable pictures.
Alongside one of herself and Rocco when he was a baby, she wrote: “I am to My Beloved…………#rocco#birthday #18 (sic)”
And then on another with Rocco when he was slightly older, she continued: “As My Beloved is to Me……….#rocco #birthday #18 (sic)”

The ‘Vogue’ singer enjoyed a five-day extravaganza at a Moroccan palace for her 60th on August 16.
The superstar had her closest friends and family flown in to Morocco to stay at Riad el Fenn, which is owned by Richard Branson’s sister Vanessa.
Madonna shared a number of pictures of herself in Marrakesh on Instagram, wearing a stunning jewelled headpiece and long pink dress, as she partied the night away.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kenya Moore has asked friends and family who can’t make her baby shower to still buy her unborn tot gifts.
The 47-year-old actress is expecting her first child with her businessman husband Marc Daly, and took to her Instagram Stories over the weekend to address the fact that she is still waiting on people to RSVP to her party which is days away, and to warn those who don’t wish to respond that she is still expecting them to shower her little boy or girl with presents to show they “care”.
In a series of posts, she ranted: “RSVP literally means RESPOND PLEASE in French so if you get an invitation respond with a yes or no if you will be attending …

She said: “My cousin actually said it at a family function once. Marc and I both looked at each other and we were both like, ‘Oh my God! That’s an amazing name.’ It means so much to us. It has great significance to us.”
Whilst Kenya is playing coy about the name she and her spouse – whom she married last year – have chosen for their child, Kenya does want her fans to learn more about her journey to motherhood.
She added: “I’m sharing as much as I can and I do have a project up my sleeves. They’ll get an inside glance into as many moments as I can and whatever I chose to share with the public, they definitely see a lot that I experienced from baby shower to birth to planning stages.”
Kenya can’t wait to be a mother, as she has “so much love to give” to her impending arrival.

The 28-year-old actor – who announced his split from actress Jenna Dewan earlier this year – has only been dating Jessie a short while, but the celebrity duo are said to have immediately struck up a chemistry.
A source explained: “Channing and Jessie’s relationship is very new. They truly just hit it off.
“Because it’s only been six months since Channing and Jenna separated, this is all very new. Channing really likes Jessie.”
Jenna, 37 – who has a five-year-old daughter called Everly with her estranged husband – has also recently started dating other people.
The insider explained to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Channing and Jenna truly planned to be together forever so dating other people is a huge step for both of them.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West has posted an impromptu performance from Uganda on his Twitter account.
The controversial rap star – who has travelled to the African country to finish recording his latest album – returned to the micro-blogging platform over the weekend and has now posted a lengthy video of himself rapping while wrapped in the Ugandan flag.
Kanye, 41, captioned the video “Spaceship call earth 3 Uganda Domes. (sic)”
In the video, the ‘Famous’ hitmaker quoted a line from the iconic rap group EPMD, saying: “Relax your mind / Let your conscious be free.”
He continued: “No matter what they say / I’ma still be me / We’re free / We’re free.”
Later in the video, Kanye gets up as the DJ stops playing the music.
Kanye tells him: “Don’t stop the music unless I say stop the music … turn that music back on, OK? Turn it up. Turn it loud.”
The chart-topping rapper – who has kids North, five, Saint, two, and nine-month-old Chicago with wife Kim Kardashian West – also delivered some freestyle verses.
He raps: “Ya’ll getting money do ya really fall. Ya’ll slaves to money y’all gonna really fall. / Y’all tryin to open up another mall / We gonna open up our souls after all / This right here is the last call.”

The 26-year-old rapper has three-month-old daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus with her husband Offset and it seems as if she loves motherhood so much she’s ready to expand her brood already.
Cardi teased her 4.06 million Twitter followers by asking is they “would be mad” if she were to go for baby number two.
She tweeted: “Would ya be mad at me if i get pregnant again? (sic)”
The ‘I Like It’ hitmaker was flooded with supportive comments from fans who encouraged her to have a second child if that is what she wants.

Cardi thanked Kulture as she picked up the prize for Favorite Artist – Rap/Hip-Hop at the ceremony Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater, saying: “Thank you so much. Thank you to all my fans, thank you to my team thank you to my publicist, thank you to Atlantic … thank you to my glam squad, thank you family, thank you Jesus!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kieran Hayler’s family and friends are “glad” he’s no longer with Katie Price.
The former stripper ended his “toxic” marriage to the ‘Loose Women’ panellist – the mother of his children Jett, five, and Bunny, four – earlier this year and he’s praised his “perfect” support network for helping him through their break-up, admitting that many think he is much better off without his estranged wife.
Speaking to the new issue of Now magazine, he said: “They have supported me all the way through. A lot of them are glad that I’m out of a toxic relationship because it ended up being a bit of tit-for-tat.”
Kieran is now dating flight attendant Michelle Pentecost and their romance is going “really good” and she gets on well with his two kids.
He said: “We’re just normal, which is nice. Everything’s been very normal, very natural, and fine.”
Kieran has had care of the children since 40-year-old Katie – who also has Harvey, 16, Junior, 13, and 11-year-old Princess from her previous relationships with Dwight Yorke and then Peter Andre – checked into rehab for PTSD treatment last month, and he’s hoping to enjoy a “dream” Christmas with the youngsters.
He said: “I’m with the kids now, so Christmas will be with the kids. It’s any parent’s dream to have the kids on Christmas morning – it would be good to have them on Christmas Eve too.
“I’ll split it with Kate but we’ve got to work all that stuff out … It would be lovely to have them for Christmas. Fingers crossed.”
The 31-year-old hunk’s main focus is on his kids but he’s also found working out has been helpful in coming to terms with the end of his marriage.
He said: “I work out at home. I love running outdoors, clearing my head, getting on with life and being a good dad. That’s all I want to do, just be a good dad for the kids.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Usher marked his 40th birthday in Los Angeles over the weekend.
The ‘Yeah!’ hitmaker celebrated with friends including Diddy and Kevin Hart at Delilah in Los Angeles on Sunday (14.10.18).
A source told the New York Post’s Page Six column: “Kevin and Diddy both separately did a birthday speech with a toast wishing Usher happy birthday and for ‘blessing this Earth’ with his talent. [Diddy] said he was very proud to have known him since he was a teenager. It was such a beautiful celebration.”
Tyler Perry, Kelly Rowland, Kendall Jenner, Chris Brown and Tyga were all in attendance and each of the guests were given party favours in the form of baseball caps with the letter A on, a nod to Usher’s hometown of Atlanta.
Usher has been quite reflective in the last few years, and previously thanked his fans for helping him through “very tumultuous times”.
Speaking whilst on stage, he said: “You know, it’s been some time since I’ve been back here at The O2 and I mean, I feel this way most of the time, but I sense that no matter how many days, weeks, months, years pass – we always stay connected. And for that discipline or that support I thank you guys so much because this 23 year career of mine has … Yeah I’ve been here for a minute … But within 22/23 years I’ve made a lot of different transitions, I’ve been through a lot of things. I’ve had some ups, I’ve had some downs, I’ve had some very tumultuous times and the things that help me to make it through that is your love and your support and I just want to take two seconds to thank you, thank you for everything.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sally Field knew her book would “hurt” Burt Reynolds.
The 71-year-old star found it “horrifying” that her memoir, ‘In Pieces’, was released just four days before her former partner died last month aged 82, and while she didn’t want to cause him any pain with the content of her tome, she knew the book would have done.
She said: “I think it was [released] four days before [he died]. It was very, very close. It was kind of horrifying that it was so close, and I certainly never wanted to hurt him anymore than I already had.
“I knew this book would hurt him, even though I tried to paint him as the colourful human being that he was, so I don’t know. He will always be in my heart and my history so he will always be there.”
The former couple dated for five years after meeting on the set of 1977 movie ‘Smokey and the Bandit’, but the ‘Gidget’ star has admitted she couldn’t be herself when she was with him.
Speaking on ‘This Morning’, she added: “We were a perfect match of flaws. We went together very well, not necessarily for the right reasons. It was a pre-formed rut in my road. I say in the book many times, if I could have been different, would he have been different?
“He was who he was, a man of his time and needed the women that he was with to represent him in a certain way. But would he have been different if I could say, ‘Don’t do that. I don’t like it?’ But I couldn’t. I couldn’t be myself. I was absent. I was behaving the way I was taught and that is to be loved I had to disappear. So I disappeared.”
Sally recently claimed the late movie legend – who referred to the ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ star as the love of his life – was a “complicated” man, and admitted their connection was “instantaneous”.
She said: “He was a complicated man.
“We’d known each other about three days, four days. It was instantaneous and four days felt like four years. You can see it in our faces. We were sort of, you know, deeply entangled. The nature of it wasn’t just, ‘Oh this is a love affair.’ There was some ingredient between us having to do with my care-taking and him needing to be taken care of.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Martin Freeman is set to star in the upcoming Sky sitcom ‘Breeders’.
The 47-year-old actor – who previously played Tim Canterbury in the award-winning sitcom ‘The Office’ – will star alongside Daisy Haggard in the ten-part series, which is set for release in 2020.
Martin – whose new show has also been picked up by FX in the US – explained: “I’m excited to be making ‘Breeders’ with a team that can make me laugh while we look at some of the less-discussed truths and challenges of being a parent. I really love this project and am delighted to be working with FX and Sky.”
Martin will play the role of a “caring father discovering he’s not quite the man he thought he was”, while Daisy will play his on-screen wife.
Jon Mountague, Sky’s head of comedy, has also teased the new series, which is being written by Simon Blackwell and Chris Addison.

Meanwhile, Simon – who is currently writing ‘Back’ on Channel 4 – has admitted he can barely contain his excitement.
