Oscar Isaac plans year-long break from work

OHMYGOSSIP — Oscar Isaac is taking a year off after filming ‘Star Wars: Episode IX’.
The 39-year-old actor – who plays Poe Dameron in the money-spinning sci-fi movies – has revealed he plans to take a year-long hiatus from the movie industry once he’s shot his scenes for the JJ Abrams-directed film, which is due out in 2019.
He explained: “I haven’t really stopped for 10 years. I’m just going to be with family and taking a bit of a rest.”
Despite this, Oscar – who previously starred in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ and ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ – revealed there’s been a noticeably more relaxed feel on the set of the latest movie.
The Hollywood star also admitted to relishing the experience of working with JJ.
He told IndieWire: “The way they’ve been shooting it right now is looser than it’s been for the last two times.
“It does feel like a relief to get on set and feel like, ‘Oh, we can try things.’ It’s a testament to J.J. coming back and feeling confident. There’s less pressure for it to be right. We just want to make a good movie and have a really good time while doing it.”
Oscar revealed he’s felt under less pressure while filming the latest ‘Star Wars’ movie.
He said: “Often, you do feel like you’ve got to find your way to make something more alive, but this time, it’s been the opposite. There’s no need to smuggle anything in there.”

Moby plans to release a new memoir

OHMYGOSSIP — Moby is set to release a new memoir.
The 53-year-old musician has announced he will release a new book called ‘Then It Fell Apart’ in 2019, with the memoir being handed a May release date in the UK and a June date in the US.
‘Then It Fell Apart’ will serve as the sequel to Moby’s 2016 memoir ‘Porcelain’ and has been described as “a journey into the dark heart of fame and the demons that lurk beneath the bling and bluster of the celebrity lifestyle”.
Faber Books, which will be publishing the memoir, has also teased the new title.
Faber said: “In summer 1999, Moby released the album that defined the millennium, ‘Play’. Like generation-defining albums before it, ‘Play’ was ubiquitous, and catapulted Moby to superstardom.
“Suddenly he was hanging out with David Bowie and Lou Reed, Christina Ricci and Madonna, taking ecstasy for breakfast (most days), drinking litres of vodka (every day), and sleeping with super models (infrequently). It was a diet that couldn’t last. And then it fell apart.”
Meanwhile, Moby previously admitted he struggled to recognise that he’d developed a drinking problem.
He explained: “When I was growing up, an alcoholic was someone who drank every day from the time they woke up to the time they went to sleep and they were getting in car accidents and they couldn’t hold down a job and they had cirrhosis of the liver.
“But then I started to see … about two or three years before I finally got sober, I started to try and practice moderation and I simply couldn’t do it and that was the first time I realised that I had a real problem.”

Alfonso Ribeiro confirmed as Strictly’s guest judge

OHMYGOSSIP — Alfonso Ribeiro has been confirmed to replace Bruno Tonioli on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ next week.
The ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air’ star – who was best known for playing Will Smith’s cousin Carlton Banks on the US sitcom – will sit in for the flamboyant Italian on the judging panel alongside Craig Revel Horwood, Dame Darcey Bussell and Shirley Ballas on Saturday (20.10.18).
Alongside a video of Alfonso doing his signature Carlton dance made famous on the hit comedy series on the BBC One ballroom and Latin show’s official Twitter account, they announced: “It’s true @alfonso_ribeiro to guest Judge next week on #Strictly! *Carlton dance for days* (sic)”
The 47-year-old comedian – who competed on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2013 – has plenty of experience in dance, as he won the US version of ‘Strictly’, ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ in 2014, alongside his partner Witney Carson.
Meanwhile, it was recently announced that Alfonso will front new game show ‘Money Tree’ for the broadcaster.
The actor is set to film a pilot of the show this week, and the programme has been compared to ‘Family Fortunes’.
A show insider said recently: “Alfonso is a TV icon and was a real hit in the UK when he appeared on ‘I’m A Celeb’ back in 2013.
“He’s got that real sense of comedic charm and effortless banter that is needed in a game show presenter, so BBC bosses thought he would be the perfect signing.
“He’s filming a pilot next week but they are really hoping that it will hit the ground running and be turned into a full series.
“It’s sure to be a right laugh with Alfonso on board.
“And, of course, they’re hoping that his famous Carlton dance and bright sweaters will make an appearance at some point.”
The new programme will see families go head-to-head in seven rounds of general knowledge trivia and the first episode is being filmed onThursday (18.10.18).
Last month, Alfonso reunited with his ‘Fresh Prince’ co-stars more than 20 years after the show went off the air.
He was joined by former castmates, Will, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Daphne Maxwell Reid and Joseph Marcell.
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ airs at 6.45pm on BBC One.

Duke and Duchess of Sussex expecting baby

OHMYGOSSIP — The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting a baby.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan – who married in May – will welcome their first child into the world next spring and are “delighted” to be announcing their happy news.
Kensington Palace said in a statement released on Twitter: “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.
“Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”
The news comes after the couple arrived in Australia on Monday (15.10.18) for their first major international tour since getting married.
The news comes a few months after Harry, 33, joked he didn’t want a large family.
As the couple greeted fans in Dublin in July, Elaine Adam-Stewart, 43, told Harry: “My husband also has red hair and he gave me five children — when are you and Meghan going to get going?”
She added: “He laughed and said ‘five children? Too many.’ ”
But the 36-year-old former actress’ father Thomas Markle previously revealed his daughter has wanted a baby of her own for a “long time.”
He said: “She’s wanted children for a long time. When she met Harry and she spoke about how much she loves him… there’s got to be a child in the making there soon.
“I couldn’t be more proud of those two, I think they’ll do a fabulous job. They’re great and I love then dearly. I’m very happy to have a new son-in-law.”

Robbie Williams calls Ayda Field’s boobs ‘Picasso t*ts’

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams nicknamed his wife Ayda Field’s breasts “Picasso t*ts”.
The ‘Feel’ hitmaker’s spouse was not impressed when the 44-year-old pop star – with whom she has newborn daughter Coco, Teddy, six, and son Charlton, three – jokingly told her he feels her bosoms have a resemblance to the famous Spanish artist Pablo Picasso’s cubism artwork after breastfeeding.
She shared: “That is Rob’s not-endearing nickname for me after breastfeeding. Don’t call your wife after she breastfeeds her children Picasso t*ts. Just a head’s up that it’s not a good idea.”
The 39-year-old actress quipped that Robbie has thrown her enough insults over the years to match up to the Queen’s comical husband Prince Philip.
Ayda added to The Sun newspaper: “You know how like there are those quotes of like Prince Philip of funny things that he has said? I feel like Rob is starting to compile a list of funny things that he has said about my body parts and at some point in 20 years there will be a list this long, it could be like Top 25.”
The pair – who now sit aside each other as judges on ‘The X Factor’ – are constantly poking fun at one another’s expense.
When Ayda gave birth to their son Charlton in 2014, Ayda claimed Robbie compared it to watching his “favourite pub burn down”.
She recalled at the time: “After I gave birth to Charlie he described the experience as like ‘watching his favourite pub burn down’. How many wives would put up with that?”
Robbie also live-tweeted the birth, but she thought it was “genius”.
She said: “I thought the idea was genius. It took my mind off everything – especially the pain.”
The TV star admits the pair – who tied the knot in 2010 – have a “strange sense of comedy”, but that their funny exchanges are “healthy” as they don’t take one another too seriously.
She added: “Rob and I both have this strange sense of comedy which always involves us being the butt of our own jokes. There is a massive degree of showing off and being these crazy characters.
“There are things about Rob and me that are incredibly alike.
“To want to perform comes from a place of insecurity and people-pleasing, which we both share.
“But it’s a healthy outlet. There are a lot of people out there taking themselves far too seriously. We are very happy to be more than a little bit ridiculous. It’s acting out in a way that doesn’t do anyone any harm.”

Meghan Trainor’s wedding texts

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Trainor is inviting people to her wedding by text message.
The ‘Dear Future Husband’ singer is planning to tie the knot with fiance Daryl Sabara but doesn’t trust people will read their mail and worries emails will get lost in a spam folder, so is using her phone to share the details of her big day.
She explained: “My problem is I’m not sending out invites ’cause ugh.
“Like, no. I’m texting people…
“I’m tired. I don’t want to pick out a card. What if they don’t get it in the mail? Who checks their mail? They always check their texts.
“What if it goes to junk mail? You know what I’m saying? It’s not a guarantee. Everyone reads their texts even if they don’t respond.”
But the 24-year-old star admitted her informal approach has some downsides because it means she’s been very spontaneous about who goes on the guest list, and has issued some invites she’s regretted days later.
She told talk show host Jimmy Fallon: !I keep accidentally hanging out with friends and being like, ‘Yo, you wanna see me get married?’ And then I invite them, and I’m like, ‘Oh no, why did I invite these people?’ You know?”
Meghan recently admitted she wants to get married in her own garden because it wouldn’t need much planning.
She said: “That’s the whole battle. I’m like, ‘We could use a picnic table and that’s it!'”
And Daryl is happy to let his partner take the lead when it comes to wedding planning.
He gushed: “I’m so excited. Dreaming about it every night. It’s her special day, I’m just happy to be a part of it. Just excited that she said ‘Yes’ to the engagement.”
The ‘All About that Bass’ hitmaker previously admitted she knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life with her fiancé from “week one” of their relationship.
When asked about the moment she knew Daryl was the one she wanted to marry, she shared: “Week one. I was a little aggressive. We said ‘I love you’ week one, it took a minute and he said something like ‘I’m enamoured with you’ or whatever and I was like ‘what does that mean? Just say it!'”

Michael Buble won’t retire

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Buble is not retiring.
The ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’ revealed in an interview over the weekend that he’s planning to bow out “at the very top” following the release of his latest album ‘Love’, but his publicist insists he’s just as busy as ever, though the thought of stepping away from his career may have gone throguh his mind while his son Noah, now five, was battling cancer.
His representative, Liz Rosenberg, said: “Michael Bublé has absolutely no plans to retire.
“I wasn’t sitting in on the interview but this must have been taken out of context.
“Perhaps as he discussed the different emotions he’s been through these last few years, that thought might have gone through his mind.
“I assure you with a new album coming out, TV appearances, and a possible tour, he is not retiring.”
In the interview with Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine, Michael – who also has Elias, two, and Vida, two months, with wife Luisana Lopilato – claimed he could no longer cope with life in the spotlight because his perception of life changed while Noah was battling with liver cancer.
He said: “I don’t have the stomach for it any more. The celebrity narcissism. This is my last interview. I’m retiring. I’ve made the perfect record and now I can leave at the very top.
“I decided I’ll never read my name again in print, never read a review, and I never have. I decided I’d never use social media again, and I never have … Why are we here? Is this all there is? Because if this is all there is, there has to be something bigger. It’s been such a difficult exercise. But my whole being’s changed. My perception of life. I don’t know if I can even get through this conversation without crying. And I’ve never lost control of my emotions in public.”

Jeremy Kyle ignored cancer symptoms

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Kyle ignored his cancer symptoms for “a few months”.
The talk show host was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2012 but admitted he had dismisses the fact there was “something not quite right” about his body for some time before a newspaper article convinced him to get it checked out.
He told The Sun newspaper: “It was late 2012 and I’d just come back from a trip to America when I first knew there was something not quite right.
“It wasn’t a lump, it wasn’t even really a pain, it was just a feeling, a sensation, and it was on my mind for a couple of weeks, maybe a few months. I put it to the back of my mind and got on with my life.
“And then I saw an article in The Sun. Because it was near Christmas they had a male model and a huge ball covering his parts and it urged readers to ‘check your baubles this Christmas’.
“It resonated with me, so I went to the doctor at 9am on a Friday. He was a doctor I’d had for years, and he didn’t say anything that would panic me, but he took a look and then suggested I should go and see a specialist who he put me in touch with.
“It sounds ridiculous now but I told him, ‘I can’t do that, I’m doing ‘Text Santa’ with Ant and Dec’, but he made the appointment for me and said he was sure I’d be fine.”
Jeremy went to see the specialist and expected to make a quick exit back to work – so was floored when he was told he had cancer and needed surgery straight away.
He said: “It was the most awful, awful moment. It’s the word nobody ever wants to hear. And it terrifies anyone, naturally.
“But what I didn’t realise straight away was how incredibly lucky I was to be having that conversation there and then — having finally gone along when I did.
“I was raced away for a biopsy, they did a full-body scan and within 12 hours I was in surgery.
“When they took the testicle out it was 90 per cent toxic.”
It took the 54-year-old star months to fully process his medical crisis.
He said: “My testicular cancer was totally surreal. It was like it was happening to somebody else — I could barely think straight about it the whole time it was happening.
“Only when it was gone and I’d had the chemotherapy and was looking at going back to work four months later did I properly think about it.
“That word, the Big C, frightens everybody.”
And Jeremy has urged more men to talk about intimate problems and to regularly check their testicles for unusual signs and symptoms.
He said: “Before that moment, never once had I spoken to a male friend or relative about my health, about checking myself or my prostate… I’ve become the bloke in Britain who talks about their b******s more than almost any other. I’ll tell anyone who will listen, because I think it’s so important…
“Advances in cancer treatments are massively on the increase. But it’s a combination of that and checking yourself that means I’m here now.
“I have absolutely no shame. I would so much rather talk to all my mates about it, all the time about it.”

Jennifer Saunders thinks comedy is harder

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Saunders finds comedy harder to write than ever because people are so easily offended.
The ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ creator admitted she thinks twice when she pens a joke that’s “on the edge” as there’s always a possibility of a negative backlash.
She said: “There is always someone tutting in the back of your mind every time you write a joke that is on the edge, ‘Don’t you think someone might be offended?’ It’s very tiring.”
And the 60-year-old star thinks it’s much harder getting edgy comedy on TV these days and she doesn’t even think some of her old material would be deemed appropriate now.
Speaking at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, she said: “Now you are not allowed to just write comedy and put it on television.
“You can with stage, but with television there’s a lot of tutting. It’s very annoying.
“I do look back at stuff we’ve done in the past and think, ‘Oh God, the Twittersphere would go mad.’ ”
Jennifer also confirmed she’s thinking of writing a new series of ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ – which also stars Joanna Lumley – but needs to find a plot that is “age-appropriate” for the outrageous characters.
She said: “I’m thinking of writing a little something, but it has to be age-appropriate. Eddy and Patsy need to be in wheelchairs and Zimmer frames because we are now so ancient.”
Joanna previously admitted she’ll always be open to playing Patsy opposite Jennifer as Edina in another series of ‘Absolutely Fabulous’.
Speaking about a documentary the two stars made, ‘Joanna and Jennifer: Absolutely Champers’ in which they went to the Champagne region of France to see how the alcoholic drink is made, she said: “I have a funny feeling that we made this lovely show last year about going to the Champagne region. Somebody had to! Just Jennifer and I went. Of course Edina and Patsy were lurking behind us all the time. Everything we did had them as shadows and we thought ‘We haven’t let go of them yet. They haven’t been buried like old carcasses in their sarcophagus.’
“Some of these people are so beautifully made that when you have invested yourself into them you’ve kind of merged into them and you can’t really shake them off. They come with you.”

Zazie Beetz auditioned for Storm in X-Men: Apocalypse

OHMYGOSSIP — Zazie Beetz auditioned for the role of Storm in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’.
The ‘Deadpool 2′ star has revealed she was in line to nab the part in the Marvel Comics movie before Alexandra Shipp landed the gig as the mutant superhero.
The actress told an audience at ACE Comic-Con in Chicago over the weekend that she “auditioned for young Storm, actually, and I didn’t get it”.
The 27-year-old star says Storm is the character she has the biggest connection to and said it would have been a “nostalgic” tale for her as a young black woman.
Asked which superhero she would most like to portray, she said: “I feel like growing up I always had an association with her.
“I mean, obviously, because being a young black woman that was the one I associated with.
“But I think that would have been a little fantasy of mine to do that, and sort of a nostalgic thing for me to try. So yeah, I’d say Storm.”
Meanwhile, Zazie is set to star in DC Comics’ ‘Joker’ film.
The ‘Geostorm’ star will take on the role of Sophie Dumond in the upcoming dark tale, a single mother who catches the eye of the titular mastercriminal, played by Joaquin Phoenix.
A description of her character reads: “Not beautiful, has a hardness to her, a single mother living on the Lower East Side, doing the best she can, trying to make ends meet; worn out by the grind of the city.
“She understands how the system is stacked against her and the people in her community, how unjust it all is for them. She’s just trying to catch a break.”
Phoenix previously teased that his portrayal of the villain – known for his pale face and scary red lips – would be “unique.”
The 43-year-old actor said: “I wouldn’t quite classify this as like any genre. I wouldn’t say it’s a superhero movie, or a studio movie or a … It feels unique, and I think more then anything, and probably the most important thing, is Todd seems very passionate about it and very giving, and so that’s exciting.
“I think, underneath the excitement of these films, and the size of them, there are these incredible characters that are dealing with real life struggles. And sometimes that is uncovered and exposed, and sometimes it isn’t, and so I always felt, like, there were characters in comics that were really interesting and deserve the opportunity to be kind of studied. And so I think that’s what Todd sees appealing about this idea.”
‘War Dogs’ filmmaker Todd Phillips will direct from the script he co-wrote with ‘8 Mile’ screenwriter Scott Silver, while Emma Tillinger Koskoff will produce.
The studio – which reportedly has a budget of $55 million to make the film – has described this iteration of the story as an “exploration of a man disregarded by society [that] is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale”.
‘Joker’ is scheduled for release in October 2019.

Viola Davis feels limited to particular roles

OHMYGOSSIP — Viola Davis feels she’s always been limited to very particular on-screen roles.
The Academy Award-winning star – who appears in the new Steve McQueen-directed heist movie ‘Widows – has claimed that in spite of being one of Hollywood’s best-known actresses, she is rarely afforded the opportunity to play characters who are “motivated by love and grief”.
Asked why she wanted to star in ‘Widows’, Viola – who has also won an Emmy and a Tony Award – told the Chicago Sun Times newspaper: “I was struck by the fact she had a husband that she loved.
“The fact she was motivated by love and grief – I have to say that I simply don’t get those roles. I just don’t, even after the Oscar.”
Viola, 53, plays one of the women who tries to complete a heist their husbands failed to finish in the new movie.
Meanwhile, Viola recently admitted she regrets the way the characters in ‘The Help’ were portrayed.
The acclaimed actress – who played maid Aibileen Clark in the 2011 period drama – explained that while she enjoyed the experience on set, she wasn’t pleased with the final film.
Responding to a fan’s question, Viola confessed: “The friendships that I formed are ones that I’m going to have for the rest of my life. I had a great experience with these other actresses, who are extraordinary human beings. And I could not ask for a better collaborator than Tate Taylor.
“I just felt that at the end of the day that it wasn’t the voices of the maids that were heard … I know that if you do a movie where the whole premise is, I want to know what it feels like to work for white people and to bring up children in 1963, I want to hear how you really feel about it. I never heard that in the course of the movie.”

True Thompson dresses in sweet pumpkin suit on Halloween trip

OHMYGOSSIP — True Thompson posed for pictures dressed as a pumpkin for her first Halloween experience.
The six-month-old baby daughter of Khloe Kardashian and her partner Tristan Thompson had her own photo shoot in a field as she enjoyed a trip with her cousins Penelope, six, and Reign, three, Khloe’s sister Kourtney’s children – whom she has with Scott Disick along with eight-year-old Mason – on Sunday (14.10.18).
Kourtney, 39, shared the picture on her Instagram Story tagging Khloe, 34, and basketball player Tristan, 27.
Whilst Khloe later shared the photo on her own account and teased that her little girl will be put in plenty more costumes this season.
She added: “I couldn’t resist!!! My little pumpkin!!!! One of many costumes to come (sic)”
True recently attended a “Cousin Cupcake Party” with her cousins; Kylie Jenner’s eight-month-old daughter Stormi Webster, Rob Kardashian’s 23-month-old daughter Dream Kardashian and Kim Kardashian West’s nine-month-old daughter Chicago West and soon-to-be-three son Saint West.
‘Revenge Body’ star Khloe wrote alongside a cute picture of them sat on a blanket eating sweet treats: “Cousin Cupcake Party!!! Keeping Up With The Kousins (sic)”
Meanwhile, Tristan and Khloe’s relationship is still “up in the air”.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star’s world was rocked when her partner was seen seemingly kissing another woman just days before Khloe gave birth to their daughter True in April, and they are reportedly still struggling with their relationship.
A source said: “Khloe is stable, content and very happy with being a mom and with how things are going with True. As for Tristan, things are still quite up in the air between them. Things seem more unstable in the relationship right now. But she’s taking it all in stride.”
It comes after an insider claimed Khloe is “holding off” on moving to Cleveland.
They explained: “She isn’t ready to leave her family just yet. True will be six months old soon and Khloe plans to spend that special day with her family …
“As much as she’s worked on moving past the heartbreak, the reminder brings up some of those emotions again. Khloe will most likely head back to Cleveland, but as of now, there isn’t an official date.”
The incident has eroded the reality star’s trust in Tristan.
A source said: “Khloe has seemed emotional. Her feelings about Tristan cheating is something that she is still dealing with. She has good weeks when she is fine about it and weeks when she is upset about it. It’s of course difficult to trust someone 100 percent who cheated days before he was about to become a dad. Khloe still struggles with this sometimes. She wants to move back to Cleveland, but she isn’t sure what date she is [going]. The move is postponed for now.”

Amy Winehouse biopic confirmed

OHMYGOSSIP — Amy Winehouse’s family have confirmed the late star’s life will be documented in a forthcoming biopic.
The ‘Rehab’ hitmaker’s estate have inked a mega money deal to bring the tragic story of the British singer’s rise to stardom to the big screen, and they are on the look out for an English actress, who looks just like Amy – who passed away aged just 27 from alcohol poisoning in 2011 – to play her.
Speaking about the movie, which is being produced by Alison Owen – whose credits include ‘Moonlight’ and ‘Tulip Fever’ – the ‘Back to Black’ singer’s father Mitch told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “We have been approached many times.
“It’s obviously something that we are going to do, 100 per cent. What we want is somebody to portray Amy in the way that she was … the funny, brilliant, charming and horrible person that she was.
“There’s no point really me making the film because I’m her dad. But to get the right people to do it, that’s very important, and we will.”
The 68-year-old Jazz singer explained that he would only want a British actress to take on the part of his beloved daughter, and said someone like Lady Gaga – who recently put on an Oscar-worthy performance in ‘A Star Is Born’ – wouldn’t be suitable for the job because he doesn’t think she’d be able to pick up the London, Cockney accent.
He added: “It wouldn’t be Lady Gaga. She doesn’t speak our kind of English.
“I wouldn’t mind betting it would be an unknown, young, English — London, Cockney — actress who looks a bit like Amy.”
The family have signed to Alison’s Monumental Pictures and the biopic is scheduled to commence shooting in 2019.
The movie deal comes after the family announced the ‘Valerie’ singer will tour the world as a hologram.
Amy’s estate have teamed up with the BASE Hologram company to create a virtual likeness of the star, which will go out on the road with a live band and backing singers to perform “digitally remastered” versions of her classic hits.
Mitch said: “This is a dream for us. To see her perform again is something special that really can’t be put into words.
“Our daughter’s music touched the lives of millions of people and it means everything that her legacy will continue in this innovative and groundbreaking way.”
Proceeds for the tour, which is expected to begin in autumn 2019, will go towards the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
BASE CEO of productions, Marty Tudor, is “proud” the tour will help others, as well as offering fans the chance to experience her “amazing” voice again.
Marty said: “Amy was an extraordinary individual who had an unbelievable passion for both her music and her fans.
“This tour will tap into that devotion and remind people of her amazing voice and all of her contributions to the world of music. In addition, we are proud to be a part of contributing to the Amy Winehouse Foundation and Amy’s legacy of commitment to others in need.”
BASE Hologram have also orchestrated two other major tours, one featuring Roy Orbison and the other Maria Callas.

New George Smiley series planned

OHMYGOSSIP — Fictional spy George Smiley is making a return to TV.
Author John Le Carre’s character was last played on the small screen by the late Sir Alec Guinness in ‘Smiley’s People’ 36 years ago and in cinemas by Gary Oldman in 2011’s ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’ and now the fictional spy is set for a comeback in a number of miniseries.
Simon and Stephen Cornwell, who are the authors sons and have served as executive producers on both ‘The Night Manager’ and upcoming thriller ‘The Little Drummer Girl’, have confirmed they will next work on the George-featuring ‘The Spy Who Came in from the Cold’ and hope it will be the first of many series for the character.
Stephen told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “We are developing ‘The Spy Who Came in from the Cold’. We are looking at a six-hour adaptation right now.
“And we hope it will launch a Smiley journey.”
As well as ‘The Spy Who Came in From the Cold’, the author wrote nine other books featuring the intelligence officer.
It is not yet known who the producers have in line to play the iconic role.
Gary previously admitted portraying the spy almost gave him a nervous breakdown while he was preparing for ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’.
He previously said: “I had let it get to a point where it was going to crush me. It almost gave me a bloody nervous breakdown, I was so caught up in the fear of this.”
However, his fears were eradicated when he started filming.
He said: “I did the first scene, and once I had opened my mouth and started doing it, I said to myself, ‘I know where I am. I’m on a set and I’m acting’.”

Jane Danson: Nick and Leanne are the Romeo and Juliet of Corrie

OHMYGOSSIP — Jane Danson is campaigning for Leanne Battersby and Nick Tilsley to reunite on ‘Coronation Street’ because they are like the “Romeo and Juliet” of Weatherfield.
Ben Price made a return to the ITV soap last week as Nick and although they have had more than their fair share of ups and downs on the cobbles Jane still thinks that her alter ego and the businessman are meant to be together.
Speaking to RadioTimes.com, she said: “Ultimately, Nick is the love of her life. They’ve always been portrayed as Romeo and Juliet, in that it’s always gone a bit pear-shaped for them. I’d like to see them happy. I equally love that relationship with Peter and how they co-parent Simon. But if the writers do choose to focus on Leanne and Nick as a couple, then I’d like to see them grow and face different challenges, perhaps with their families and how they deal with bringing up their children. That still provokes drama.”
Leanne is currently in hospital after being caught up in the Connors’ car crash drama and Jane admits that when Leanne first sees Nick she is less than friendly as they split on such bad terms when Nick left Weatherfield.
Jane said: “Leanne’s a bit broken when she sees him. She remembers how hurt she was, so it’ll be interesting to see whether she does forgive him. But she’s had quite a lonely time of it lately. So with Nick back, it gives this feisty, mouthy character the chance to show her more vulnerable side. And I’m a big fan of Ben’s, not just as an actor, but as a person as well. And it means we get to work together, which is always good. I’ve known for a while that he was coming back, so I was counting down the days.”
Before she was run over by evil crime boss Ronan Truman, Leanne’s love life had been very eventful as of late.
The Street siren recently ended her fling with Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo) after she found out that he was also bedding her sister Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor).
And then the blonde beauty ended up in bed with Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) after his fiancée Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) gave him a “free pass” – which he thought meant he could cheat – ahead of their nuptials, which resulted in chaotic scenes on the pair’s wedding day.
That’s not the first time Leanne and Steve have got down and dirty together as they pulled a similar stunt two years ago when Steve was married to Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) – resulting in Leanne falling pregnant.
