OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj is to perform at the MTV Europe Music Awards in November.
The 35-year-old rap star – who released her long-awaited fourth album ‘Queen’ earlier this year – is set to take to the stage at the annual awards bash, which is being held in Bilbao, Spain, this year.
Other big-name stars scheduled to perform at the awards show include Halsey and Spanish singer Rosalia, while Janet Jackson – who was recently announced as the recipient of the Global Icon Award – will be performing a medley of her greatest hits.
Nicki previously hosted the event when it was staged in Glasgow, Scotland, in 2014 and the chart-topping rapper’s performance is sure to be one of the highlights of the awards show on November 4.
Actors Michael Pena and Diego Luna have been revealed as two of the awards presenters, with Hailee Steinfeld serving as the host of the ceremony.
Camila Cabello leads the nominations with six, while Ariana Grande and Post Malone are tied with five nominations each.
Drake, Shawn Mendes and Dua Lipa are among the other well-known artists who have been nominated.
Meanwhile, Nicki recently claimed that her critics are waiting to see her “fall”.
The outspoken star – who was involved in an altercation with rap rival Cardi B during New York Fashion Week – claimed that some people hope she is soon usurped as the most popular female rapper in the music industry.
Nicki explained: “I’ve been at the top of this totem pole for a very long time. Sometimes people just want to see someone who’s been at the top fall, just to see if it can happen.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rami Malek was involved in a car accident after spotting his own face on a billboard.
The ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ actor braked suddenly when he caught sight of a giant poster bearing his likeness, causing the driver behind to hit his vehicle – and though the man seemed unhurt, Rami suggested he developed some fake symptoms when he realised he’d struck someone famous.
Asked when he realised he’d made it to stardom, he said: “I was driving in LA and spotted a billboard with my face on it. I was so surprised I slammed on the brake and someone rear-ended me.
“The other guy got out of the car unhurt but looked at me and followed my gaze and suddenly he developed severe back pain. I thought, ‘I’ve made it and now he’s going to take it all!’ ”
The 37-year-old actor doesn’t usually immerse himself in his roles as much as he did playing Freddie Mercury in ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ but he couldn’t resist keeping in his prosthetic teeth and speaking in a flamboyant British accent off camera because he had such a great time being the late Queen frontman.
He said: “I am not a method actor, but I kept the teeth in off set. It’s not often you can end every sentence with ‘darling’ or dear’ in a British accent – I loved being Freddie Mercury.”
The ‘Mr. Robot’ actor was thrown in at the deep end with the Queen biopic, as his first day on set involved the group’s “iconic” Live Aid performance, which left Rami’s heart racing.
He recalled on ‘The Graham Norton Show’: “We filmed the iconic Live Aid concert on the first day of filming – it was a real test. My heart was trying to escape my body there was so much adrenalin.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Charles offered Eric Idle a job as his “jester”.
The ‘Monty Python’ star met the heir to the throne at a dinner party, but the 75-year-old actor bluntly dismissed the 69-year-old prince’s suggestion he join him as his personal comedian – and despite his direct refusal, Charles still saw the funny side, though Eric wonders if his rejection is the reason why he’s never been honoured by Queen Elizabeth.
He said: “He came to dinner at BIlly Connolly’s when we were there and he asked me if I would be his Jester!
“He did, he said, ‘Would you be my Jester?’ And I said, ‘Why would I want a f***ing awful job like that?!’
“He did laugh at that. But no OBE for me!”
And the prince isn’t the only famous fan of Eric and his ‘Monty Python’ castmates as the late Elvis Presley was such a devotee, he used to get his loved ones to join him in acting out his favourite sketches.
He told talk show host Jonathan Ross: “It was extraordinary to me because Elvis saved our lives when we were 14 because Elvis came and he was great and I loved Elvis!
“I found out from a biography that he called everybody ‘Squire’ from my ‘Nudge Nudge’ sketch. The world turned upside down.
“I met his penultimate girlfriend, Linda Thompson, and she told me that at night in Memphis after the television closed down, Elvis would sit next to her and make her do Monty Python sketches! Not just any, he’d do things like ‘Hello Mrs!’ Elvis sitting in bed doing that!”
The comedy troupe will always be grateful to late Beatles legend George Harrison as he helped finance one of their most famous works, 1979 movie ‘The Life of Brian’, while other friends in the musical world also helped fund their films.
He said: “We were pursued by rock and roll people because we were all the same generation… Rock and roll people helped us make our movies. Holy Grail was paid for by Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull,Led Zeppelin, Genesis, they all put money in.
“And ‘The Life of Brian’ was entirely paid for by George Harrison. He mortgaged his house for 4.5 million and put the whole thing into the budget for ‘The Life of Brian’ because he wanted to see the movie. It’s still the most anybody has ever paid for a cinema ticket!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Vogue Williams has returned to DJing for the first time since giving birth to her first child.
The 33-year-old star welcomed son Theodore, her first child with husband Spencer Matthews, into the world in September and on Thursday night (18.10.18) she played an upbeat set for a number of stars and VIPs, including Jess Wright, Talia Storm and Ashley James, at the opening of the ICON Outlet shopping destination at The O2 arena in London.
Prior to getting to the venue, Vogue revealed she had to “double pump” her breasts for milk so Theodore could be fed even though she was out.
Posting on Instagram, she said: “Oh how my nights have changed, I’m DJing tonight, but of course, I’ve had to filter time in to double pump before I leave. This is different.”
Vogue previously admitted that although she and her son will be “glued together for a few months” she would be returning to her jobs as a model and DJ as she can work part-time.
She said: “I’m not fully back to work yet. It was one shoot. I only intend on taking jobs where I can have my baby with me as I’m breastfeeding so we shall be glued together for a few months.
“I don’t get maternity leave in my job so I’ll obviously be going back sooner than others. Let’s not start the parent shaming already, he’s eight days old and a very happy loved baby.”
Vogue previously shared that she and former ‘Made In Chelsea’ star Spencer, 30, were “bursting with love” and that their new son was the perfect addition to their family.
She said: “We are bursting with love, I honestly feel like he has been here forever, he has just slotted into our lives perfectly.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Paul McCartney has announced the details of two more Archive Collection releases.
The iconic musician and his band Wings have seen their first two albums, ‘Wild Life’ and ‘Red Rose Speedway’, expanded into limited deluxe editions, which will be released on December 7, 2018.
The limited deluxe edition of ‘Wild Life’ comes with the debut album from Wings – which released in December 1971 – as well as 25 bonus audio tracks, including rough mixes of the album, original single edits, B-sides, and home recordings.
The set’s DVD includes footage of acoustic home videos and rehearsals, while there’s also a 128-page book written by David Fricke that tells the story behind the album.
On the other hand, the limited deluxe edition of ‘Red Rose Speedway’ features three discs of audio, including the original album remastered at Abbey Road, as well as 35 bonus audio tracks.
Other exciting features of the package include a DVD of previously unseen footage, such as the James Paul McCartney TV Special, interviews and music videos.
The Archive Collection has been a big success since debuting in November 2010 with the re-release of ‘Band on the Run’, which won Best Historical Album at the Grammy Awards that year.
Meanwhile, Paul recently admitted he sometimes forgets the lyrics to his biggest hits.
The British icon – who has released 18 solo albums, seven with Wings and 12 studio records with The Beatles – has penned countless timeless hits over the years, but he revealed it can be tough remember all the words when he’s playing live.
He said: “When I’m doing shows I listen to a lot of music, Beatles music, Wings music, to see what ones we’re gonna do.
“And to learn them … There’s too many. Too many words. Too many notes. They’re very hard. I mean, you know, it’s not like they’re all three chords.”

The 49-year-old shock rocker – whose real name is Brian Warner – is celebrating Halloween by selling a $125 dildo with his likeness on the tip.
Unveiling a photo of the unusual marital aid to his 2.7 million Instagram followers, he wrote: “I guess this is … Halloween. #d**kortreat. (sic)”
As well as the sex toy, Manson is also selling and a Marilyn Manson MM Logo Halloween Pumpkin Stencil.
The product description for the sex on his official merchandise site states: “The Double Cross Marilyn Manson Dildo and Bag includes a soft, lifelike Marilyn Manson dildo and velvet double cross logo bag for easy and discreet storage. Please note that the paint on Marilyn Manson’s face is environmentally safe. May fade with multiple uses.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Katherine Jenkins thinks it’s an “honour” to have her face tattooed on a fan’s thigh.
The 38-year-old singer – who has children Aaliya, three, and Xander, six months, with husband Andrew Levitas – was stunned when a man came to a record signing and dropped his trousers in front of her but then realised it was because he wanted to show her his unique inking, which she thinks is both “weird” and “lovely”.
She said: “Firstly everybody is really lovely because I am very lucky. I do have a lovely gentleman who came to one of the record signings and he came up to the table and he said, ‘Katherine I’ve got something to show you,’ and then he dropped his trousers and I was scared to look but he actually had a big tattoo of my face on my thigh.
“It’s weird but it’s also so lovely. I think that’s quite an honour that he wants my face [on his thigh.] He then wanted me to autograph the tattoo and I think he had the tattoo of my autograph added as well.”
Despite her classical music success, the mezzo-soprano admitted she’s terrible at karaoke and her husband has made her promise never to get up and sing pop songs in front of other people again because she’s so “rubbish”.
She told talk show host Jonathan Ross: “I’m rubbish at Karaoke. I promise you. When I first met my husband, Andrew, he came to a party and we’d had a few drinks, both of us and I thought, ‘I’ve got this’ and I sang Adele.
“And in the morning, he said to me, ‘Don’t ever do that again, you should never do Karaoke.’ I really suck at it.
“Whitney Houston I murder as well. It’s all really, really bad. I think I’m trying to sing as a pop diva and it’s just not my voice and so it just really goes wrong so instead whenever I’m pushed into doing I do something more like rap. It is safer.”
In order to keep her voice in good shape, Katherine goes days without speaking when she’s on tour – much to the delight of her husband.
She said: “When I’m on tour I don’t speak between the shows so I come off stage and I’ll go for at least 24 hours of absolute silence. Not a word. It actually works.
“If you ever lose your voice, the voice is a muscle so it has to have complete rest. You can’t even whisper. I mouth and expect people to lip read or expect my husband to understand me.
” He actually loves it when I’m on voice rest and he waits for the moment where I can’t answer back and then he drops something that is really going to wind me up!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry received the Courage Award at the amfAR gala and used her acceptance speech to praise all of her “LGBTQ-plus family”.
The 33-year-old pop star was recognised for her fundraising and work in the fight against AIDS and other humanitarian work and she admitted that her out and proud fans have a special place in her heart.
Speaking at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills on Thursday (18.10.18), she said: “To my LGBTQ-plus family who is disproportionately affected by HIV/AIDS, I’ve always felt such a deep connection to, and gratitude for your bravery to live your authentic truth. It’s a gift to all of us and you deserve to be safe, seen and celebrated. I want to thank you for always offering me a home in your hearts and a bench in your ears. You have one in mine, too, and we are in this together.”
The ‘Roar’ hitmaker – who was joined at the event by her boyfriend Orlando Bloom – also recalled her strict religious upbringing with her Pentecostal Christian pastor parents Mary and Maurice and insisted that her decision to question the opinion of those around her was her “first attempt at a courageous life”.
She said: “Today I understand that a courageous life is the only one worth living. You may or may not have heard that I come from a Bible-thumping background that wasn’t particularly open or accepting of curiosity.
“For example, I wasn’t allowed to eat Lucky Charms – Luck was too closely associated with Lucifer, obviously. Or watch the Smurfs because they were magical blue demons. And then I become (the voice of) Smurfette later on in life … teenage rebellion.
“I may not have known it then but daring to ask questions and redefine right and wrong when everybody around me spoke in absolutes was my first attempt at a courageous life.”
Katy then went on to offer to “anyone who is really, really rich” the opportunity to have dinner with her at the very exclusive Club 33 in Disneyland because it’s her “favourite place in the world”.
The glamorous evening raised more than $13 million for HIV and AIDS research and attracted a galaxy of stars, including Heidi Klum, Kat Graham, Carmen Electra, Brittney Palmer and Rumer Willis.

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Solomon is refusing to let Joe Swash keep his clothes in her wardrobe in their new home.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist and the 36-year-old actor have taken their relationship to another level by moving in together but Stacey, 29, has revealed that she won’t let Joe share her walk-in wardrobe because there’s only enough space for her garments.
Speaking on the ITV daytime show on Friday (19.10.18), she said: “When he got in there yesterday (18.10.18), he saw this smallish space being overflowed with my stuff, and it had to go in our bedroom and overflow there. He said, ‘Do I have any space in the wardrobe?’ and I said, ‘Well, you said it’s all mine and you can’t go back on it now and there’s no space.’ He agreed with it! I wish I’d got it in writing but he was very happy about this.”
However, the TV personality was left in shock when her partner made a video call to the show’s panel – also made up of Andrea McLean, Kaye Adams and Nadia Sawalha – and revealed just how much space was in the storage unit.
Joe said: “When she says about a wardrobe, she’s not really telling the truth … this is not just a wardrobe space. She’s got a whole walk-in wardrobe. All I asked for was to put a little rail along the wall here, and she said, ‘No.’ ”
Kay began chanting “get Joe a rail!” which he and the studio audience joined in with before Stacey put an end to it.
She said: “Don’t feel sorry for him – where’re my shoes going to go if there’s a rail there?!”
Despite their wardrobe spat, the couple have enjoyed living together so far.
Stacey – who has sons Zachary, 10, and Leighton, six, from previous relationships – said: “It’s been a culture shock – really different. When you’ve lived on your own, with all your own rules and stuff. He’s incredibly patient and wonderful and I’m so lucky.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Faris once had to give advice to a woman who had been peed on by her sister-in-law.
The 41-year-old actress launched her podcast, ‘Anna Faris is Unqualified’, in 2015 with the help of her longtime friend Sim Sarna, and has that whilst she can usually dish out solid advice to those with relationship problems, she sometimes comes up against a listener with an issue even she can’t comprehend.
Speaking about the weirdest listener problems she’s ever had to deal with, Anna – who has six-year-old son Jack with her ex-husband Chris Pratt – said: “One was this gal got peed on by her husband’s sister, who then denied it. At that point, it’s sort of like, unless you’re interviewing all party members involved, what do you say?
“There was another one where this gal had a threesome and the girl ends up being pregnant. And I mean, we are in over our heads. What do you do with that?”
Anna started the podcast as a hobby, and says that whilst she loves her job as an actress, she launched her podcast because wanted to “express” herself in her own way.
She added: “It was a project that I started as a hobby for a couple of reasons. I love doing the show that I do, ‘Mom’. I wanted to have an avenue, though, where I felt like I could express who I was and also talk to strangers.
“It feels like a lot, but I feel incredibly passionate about all the things that I do. And then I feel like I keep piling on more.”
The ‘Scary Movie’ star has had several celebrity guests on the show including Macaulay Culkin, Kelly Clarkson, Stan Lee, Chris Evans, and Lisa Kudrow, and the show is so popular, it became the first podcast to cross over to Top 40 Radio when it joined iHeartRadio earlier this year.
And Anna couldn’t be happier with the podcast’s success, as she was convinced only “four people” would tune in.
Speaking to People magazine, she said: “I really thought, ‘Well, four people will listen to this.’ We’re really grateful that people actually listen.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Pamela Anderson is on crutches after injuring her leg in rehearsals for the French version of ‘Dancing with The Stars’ on Thursday night (18.10.18).
The former ‘Baywatch’ star is worried that she may not be able to perform on the show on Saturday (19.10.18) after hurting herself during practice.
Taking to her Instagram account to share the news with her followers, she wrote: “Petite Problème I hurt my right calf muscle in rehearsal last night. We weren’t doing anything crazy just dancing. It felt like someone threw a baseball very hard at my lower leg – I screamed and turned around and no one was there. Then realized it was my calf muscle that may have exploded? (sic)”
The 51-year-old star required an MRI scan on her right leg and has now begun “cryotherapy” in order to heal the muscle.
She said: “I just left IRM/MRI. I’m on my way to another Dr (insurance) this afternoon and will continue my cryotherapy and kine’ every day …
My hamstring is almost healed from 80% to 10% torn – so I’ve been doing well.”
The former Playboy model – who is currently following a no-fat vegan diet because she believes “it’s the quickest way to heal – is determined to recover quickly and continue to dance on the ballroom show.
She continued: “I’m sad but hopeful that I can continue to dance. We are losing precious rehearsal time and Saturday is only 2 days away. This is my favourite dance so far … I love it. It’s so fun. I want to share it. I was energetic and happy dancing. This is just another challenge. A bump in the road … I guess it’s common to get hurt. I’m determined to do whatever it takes to dance on Saturday.”
The 51-year-old star is grateful for her hugely supportive friends and family and said that her dance partner Maxime Dereymez was a huge support.
She added: “He did all he could – he carried me to my car and then to my hotel room.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stacey Dooley had to climb out of a window after getting stuck in a rehearsal studio.
The 31-year-old television personality was rehearsing for her Samba on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ this weekend with her professional dancing partner Kevin Clifton and they worked so late that they got locked into the Brighton studios, which closed at 10pm.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Kevin and Stacey got locked in because they rehearsed so late. They ended up having to climb and then crawl through a window to make their escape!”
Meanwhile, Stacey recently confessed she is “worried” about dancing the Samba.
Taking to her Instagram story, she shared: “So this morning, I’m off to go and film some bits and bobs. And then I’m going to go off and do a voiceover and then at 6pm, I’ll see you there Kev for training. And this week we’ve got Samba. I hope I’m allowed to tell you that. I think I am. Samba’s very different to the Foxtrot but don’t worry. Actually I am worried.”
Kevin previously confessed he was desperate to partner up with Stacey as he’s a huge fan.
He said: “I’ve been a fan of Stacey for a few years. I’ve watched loads of her documentaries and I think all her work is really good. I think it was about a year ago, maybe two years ago, I actually tweeted Stacey after her one of her documentaries to say, ‘Oh I really enjoyed that, it’s really important stuff that you’re doing’ and she tweeted back saying, ‘oh yeah, thanks very much.’ I turned into a little fangirl.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Melissa McCarthy “wormed her way in” to her new film ‘Can You Ever Forgive Me?’
The 48-year-old actress usually opts for comedy roles but wanted to take a part in the new biopic after her husband Ben Falcone was cast in the movie.
She said: “He was cast first, and then I wormed my way in. That’s what he gets for showing me the script! … I felt a little disappointed in myself that I didn’t know who she was. I lived in New York during this time period, and I thought, ‘I should have known her.’ Then to find out the FBI got involved and she was convicted … I was like, ‘Why don’t I know the story?'”
Melissa plays real-life author Lee Israel. In a bid to prop up her failing writing career, she forged letters from famous artists to make money and was later caught out and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to transport stolen property, serving six months under house arrest.
Speaking about being able to show off her dramatic skills, she added to Good Morning America: “It was fantastic. I know that it is tonally something that I’m not really known for.. but for me it’s like, I still fall in love with the character, I fall in love with the story. The process for me in playing Lee Israel was just finding all her little quirks and ticks, of which there were many – she is not an easy person by any stretch, but I still became really enamoured with her early on, and it was really fun to play.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Cole was left baffled when told he could be related to Mariah Carey – but hasn’t ruled it out.
The 37-year-old footballer insists he “didn’t know anything about it” after he was told about the speculation, 11 years after the superstar singer claimed she could be a relation of the former Chelsea defender.
When asked about the rumours on Thursday’s (18.10.18) episode of game show ‘A League of Their Own’, he says: “I’m not saying it’s not true but I don’t know. I don’t know anything about it.”
Show host James Corden then reads him an article featuring a source which quotes him as being “chuffed to bits” about the news.
The TV presenter said: “Listen to this, ‘Ashley’s chuffed to bits that they’re related. He’s always been a big fan of Mariah’s, and grew up listening to jazz legends like Nat King Cole…”
But Ashley laughs and says: “Oh no way, man.”
In 2007, Mariah claimed she could be related to Ashley after she discovered a possible link while searching for an ancestral connection to jazz legend Nat.
She said: “It’s fascinating. My grandmother was a Cole before she married and it turns out she comes from the same area of Alabama as Ashley’s ancestors in the Deep South.
“We are still looking into it to see if we’re also related to Nat King Cole. I’m such a huge fan of his. That would be wonderful, and would also explain so much.”
A spokesman for the ex-Arsenal star said at the time: “I don’t know if he’s heard the Mariah story or not but I know Ashley was born and raised in east London.”
Ashley was married to Girls Aloud singer Cheryl at the time, and a spokesman for her claimed that she would look into the speculation because the performer is a “huge fan” of the star.
They said: “I’m sure she’ll look into it to see if there’s any truth. She’s a huge fan of Mariah’s and watched her perform at G-A-Y in London the last time she performed there.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Shayne Ward has congratulated ‘Coronation Street’ stars on their National Television Awards nominations – but admitted he was “really hurt” to miss out on a nod.
The former ‘Corrie’ star was involved in a hard-hitting storyline earlier this year when his character Aidan Connor took his own life, but the 34-year-old actor was “lost for words” he and Richard Hawley (Johnny Connor) missed out on Best Serial Drama Performance nominations for the plot.
In a tweet last night (16.10.18), which now appears to have been deleted, he wrote: “This was the one I worked hard for.
It’s always a blessing to be put forward for a nomination And Im always humbled. But to have not even been considered for Best Serial Drama Performance for Aidan’s suicide has really hurt me.
“No nod for @RichardHawley1 too Lost for words. (sic)”
Shayne – who turned 34 yesterday – has also ‘liked’ a number of tweets from fans who praised his performance.
One read: “you defo should be at least nominated. My family has lost several members due to suicide. You deserve recognition for making it less taboo to discuss #rewardWardwithNTAaward (sic)”
Another fan tweeted: “The problem with this whole @shayneTward not being nominated for an NTA for his portrayal of Aidan just shows, to me-a person who battles suicidal thoughts frequently (like today)- that everyone forgets eventually. OHMYGOSSIP — ITV will celebrate 20 years of the Black Eyed Peas with a special documentary.
The ‘Where is the Love’ hitmakers – willi.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo – will perform on the programme alongside some special guests, while friends, family and famous faces will share their insight and memories of the group on the show, which will be hosted by their friend Joanna Lumley.
The documentary will start with the trio’s childhoods and see them visit their old Los Angeles neighbourhoods, the Whisky A Go Go club on the Sunset Strip, where they were discovered, and a recording studio where they recorded some of their biggest hits.
apl.de.ap said: “It’s very special to be celebrating this landmark moment in the Black Eyed Peas story. There’s nothing better than performing with my best friends on stage. We’re looking forward to everyone joining us for this party, and we know our UK fans know how to party.”
Taboo added: “20 years of Black Eyed Peas and so much more. will.i.am and apl.de.ap are my brothers. We have incredible memories to be treasured and we’re excited for everything to come with the ‘Masters of the Sun’ European tour.”
And ‘Voice’ coach will is delighted that he’ll get to perform with his bandmates at his “home” in the UK.
He said: “I have my family, my Black Eyed Peas family and my ‘Voice UK’ family. I’ve always felt at home in the UK and, as a group, we continue to feel Big Love from our fans over here. We are excited to be sharing the backstory of our journey to success with you all.”
Meanwhile, ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ star Joanna is “very excited” to be hosting the programme.
She said: “I’m both a friend to and a big fan of The Black Eyed Peas. It’s very exciting to be part of this and I’m looking forward to it enormously.”
And ITV are delighted to be honouring one of their favourite stars.
