Charlotte Riley fan girls over Paul O’Grady

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Riley is “obsessed” with Paul O’Grady.
The ‘Press’ actress – who is expecting her second child with husband Tom Hardy, with whom she already has a three-year-old son – has admitted she was “so jealous” of the ‘Venom’ actor when he got to meet Paul at Battersea Dogs home in London, because she is in love with the 63-year-old Liverpudlian.
Speaking about the comedian – who used to dress in drag as alter-ego Lily Savage – she spilled: “I was very cross when Tom got to meet Paul O’Grady at Battersea Dogs Home and I didn’t.
“That caused a rift for a little while.
“I’ve read all his biographies and I’m slightly obsessed by him. I need to meet him.”
The 36-year-old star also revealed she had no idea Tom had an Instagram account until recently because she doesn’t have social media herself.
She told You magazine: “I didn’t know he had an Instagram account until about three weeks ago.
“I don’t do anything like that.”
The ‘Dunkirk’ actor has 3.7 million followers on the app and often shares pictures of himself with cute rescue dogs.
Asked if she thinks it’s bizarre that his fans are obsessed with seeing the 41-year-old hunk posing with animals, she said: “He’s always been a bit of a Doctor Dolittle. There are numerous friends and family who now have dogs, that didn’t know they wanted one until Tom happened to find a dog that didn’t have a home.
“Even when we get a dog that’s intended to be mine, it always loves him more than me.”
Tom and Charlotte, 36, first met on the set of a ‘Wuthering Heights’ adaptation in 2009 and have also starred in ‘Peaky Blinders’ together.
They tied the knot four years ago – making that Tom’s second marriage as he was previously wed to producer Sarah Ward from 1999 until 2004.
Tom has previously spoken about how he and Charlotte try never to go longer than three weeks without seeing each other.
He said: “I like to go no longer than three weeks without seeing Charlotte but it can be tricky because we both go to opposite sides of the globe, then we have to meet in the middle. We’re managing so far.”
And he has gushed about how “kind and pure” his wife is, saying: “Aw, she’s pure. She’s just a very kind, pure person.”
Tom also has 10-year-old son Louis with his ex Rachael Speed.

Anton du Beke: Seann Walsh and Katya Jones could win Strictly

OHMYGOSSIP — Anton du Beke thinks Seann Walsh and Katya Jones could win ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 52-year-old dancer believes there’s no reason why the pair couldn’t go all the way and lift the Glitterball Trophy, which comes after the 32-year-old comedian was pictured locking lips with his pro dance partner – who is married to fellow ‘Strictly’ star Neil Jones – despite having a girlfriend at the time.
Seann and Katya, 29, escaped being eliminated from the show on Sunday night (21.10.18) after ending up in the bottom two, with Vick Hope and Graziano Di Prima losing out instead.
Anton is quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: “Could they go all the way? Yes, I think so. Absolutely. I don’t see why not now.
“It does get people talking about the show.”
While Anton believes the couple have the potential to triumph on the series – it has been claimed that Seann – who was ditched by girlfriend Rebecca Humphries after his and Katya’s snog saga was exposed – is being “ignored” by his fellow ‘Strictly’ stars and has been ostracised from the WhatsApp group, which has been joined by all the show’s current competitors and their partners.
An insider said: “This series is definitely the most bitchiest and frostiest series ever and there is Seann standing right at the heart of it.
“It was always felt that Seann wasn’t as liked from the start but after he was pictured kissing Katya those feelings against him have only intensified.
“Seann was overheard voicing his concerns that he gets ignored on the group. He’ll put out a message and only receive a muted reaction.
“Then another member of the group will message something completely different and receive several responses to it. It’s everyone’s not-so-subtle way of making sure he’s aware how everyone feels, especially when Neil and Katya are also present on the group.
“Everyone wishes that he could be taken off of it, as it would make things considerably less awkward, but instead he’s just been phased out with the hope he’ll leave of his own accord.”

Rachel Riley underwent Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

OHMYGOSSIP — Rachel Riley had therapy in the past.
The ‘Countdown’ star underwent Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – which is commonly used to treat anxiety and depression – and admitted it has been a big help in her life.
She told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: “I had CBT a few years ago. I didn’t know I was a perfectionist. Perfectionists tend to pull everything they do apart and focus on the negatives.
“But if you decide what you want to achieve before you do something, then once you’ve achieved that goal, you can feel positive about what you’ve done.
“Nowadays, before I do anything, I think of what a good outcome would be.”
The 32-year-old star has been open about her experience with CBT, and earlier this month she revealed how the therapy helped during her time on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ in 2013.
She recently said: “I didn’t think about any of these issues until I was on ‘Strictly’. For the first time ever I spoke to someone who gave me CBT and from there I learnt the power and the use of talking to someone.”
Rachel also urged people suffering with mental health problems to talk about it, and said companies needed to provide care for employees.
She explained: “How you think about things. How you view what you do yourself. How it can make you happier and better and in the workplace.
“You know, stress, loss of sleep, having your mind elsewhere is costing billions to the industry as well. So not only is it a benefit to the individual, it is a benefit for the companies that provide help for people.”

Craig Revel Horwood ‘ticked off’ after Strictly Come Dancing rant

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ bosses are said to have warned Craig Revel Horwood that his recent rant was “totally out of order”.
The 53-year-old show judge allegedly described Tess Daly’s contestant interviews as “dull” and claimed fellow panellist Shirley Ballas’ breasts are “fake” last week – and producers are said to have warned him to watch his acid tongue after causing some backstage upset.
A show insider said: “Craig has rubbed everybody up the wrong way with his comments including senior people on the production team and his fellow judges.
“The comments were totally out of order and that has been made clear to Craig.”
Shirley, 58, is said to have been left “particularly upset” by Craig’s comments, and believes his claims were “very unfair”.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: “Shirley was particularly upset by his comments which were personal.
“She felt him making comments like that so publicly was just malicious and very unfair, and she isn’t really talking to him.”
Craig, who was on the first night of his book tour in Oxford, when he made the comments, admitted he “tends to avoid” answering Tess’ “quite dull” questions.
He said: “The book is honest like me but on the telly I wear my judge’s hat. I can’t be myself.
“I like to joke about and do all that stuff. I might raise an eyebrow or two.
“In those ten or 20 seconds where I have to answer Tess’s quite dull questions actually … I tend to avoid them and not answer if I’m super honest.”
Last week, the outspoken judge also blasted pro dancer Katya Jones for kissing contestant Seann Walsh despite her being married and him having a girlfriend, Rebecca Humphries, who dumped the comedian after the smooch was exposed.
Craig said: “Katya was in the wrong. I think she should have went: ‘No, no, no. I’m your teacher.’
“Obviously Some relationships blossom. I mean who would have ever thought that anyone would want Kristina Rihanoff? But Ben Cohen did and she had a baby with him so that’s a success story.
“I call it the ‘Strictly’ blessing as if you are there in that sort of parallel world and you are your own person with your own thoughts and intentions that is what is wonderful.”

Helen Flanagan had therapy after Matilda birth

OHMYGOSSIP — Helen Flanagan underwent therapy after giving birth to her daughter Matilda.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who plays Rosie Webster in the soap – admits her anxiety was “unbearable” after she and partner Scott Sinclair welcomed their little one into the world three years ago, so much so she had cognitive behavioural therapy, but insists people should “not be ashamed” of mental illness.
She said: “I’ve always struggled with anxiety and it was at its peak after having Matilda.
“It was partly why I wanted to go back to work. I didn’t get post-natal depression, but my anxiety got unbearable. I had cognitive behavioural therapy. Mental illness is nothing to be ashamed of.”
The 28-year-old star – who also has four-month-old daughter Delilah with the professional footballer – also admits breastfeeding her daughters was the “most natural thing”, and says women “shouldn’t feel” as though they need to cover themselves.
She added to OK! magazine: “Women shouldn’t feel they have to cover up, it’s the most natural thing.”
Helen’s comments come just a week after she admitted being “apprehensive” about breastfeeding in public at first, but the more she does it, the less she becomes aware of anyone making negative remarks.
She said: “I’ve only had one bad experience. I think Delilah was three weeks old. I was breastfeeding in Starbucks and there was a girl opposite me, I was quite shocked, as another woman, she was making some not very nice remarks to her boyfriend.
“I do feel with breastfeeding, you do feel a bit apprehensive breastfeeding in public, the more you do it the more your confidence grows.
“If you just concentrate on your baby you become unaware of anyone else anyway. I do think it’s a great thing.
“I don’t think it makes you a better mum if you breastfeed. A happy mummy is a happy baby so whatever you decide to do. It’s just something I’m passionate about, the breastfeeding.”

Duchess Meghan dress sells out in minutes

OHMYGOSSIP — Duchess Meghan stepped out in a $163 polka dot dress as she and Prince Harry arrived at Fraser Island in Queensland on day seven of their royal tour of Australia on Monday (22.10.18) and the outfit sold out within minutes of being seen in it.
The 37-year-old royal – who is expecting her first child next spring – has showcased one of her most affordable outfits yet, as she donned a burgundy and white polka dot maxi dress by H&M’s Swedish sister brand, & Other Stories.
The duchess opted for the gorgeous dress as she arrived by boat to Kingfisher Bay on Fraser Island and paired her effortless look with a low ponytail and flat sandals.
The former ‘Suits’ actress – who was previously known as Meghan Markle before getting married in May – has had websites crashing with fans eager to get their hands on the coveted pieces she’s been pictured in, which has now been dubbed ‘The Meghan effect’.
Earlier this month, the duchess opted for a silk olive shirt by the Swedish brand when she and Prince Harry visited Sussex, which was their first official visit to the county that features in their royal titles.
Meghan has attracted plenty of attention for her simple-but-chic looks on the tour of her 16-day tour of Australia, New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji and even wore a piece from her pal Serena Williams’ fashion line.
On the second day of her royal tour when she went to Dubbo Meghan wore a grey blazer from the tennis icon’s collection.
The royal opted to wear a double-button style blazer with patch pockets and a red-and-blue windowpane pattern.
Serena, 37, was thrilled that her friend sported her blazer – which has now sold out – and took to Instagram to reveal her joy, sharing a picture of the duke and duchess holding hands and smiling.
She wrote: “The face you make when you and Duchess of Sussex Meghan have matching @serena blazers. (sic)”

Kate Moss gives daughter makeup tips

OHMYGOSSIP — Lila Moss’ supermodel mother Kate Moss has taught her that “less is more” when it comes to makeup.
The teenage model has been given many beauty tips and tricks by supermodel Kate, 44, and she has learnt to limit her application of products to achieve the best results.
Speaking to Glamour, Lila – whose father is magazine editor Jefferson Hack – said: “Mum always says, ‘Less is more. To go with a fresh face and not use too much bronzer!’ So I usually keep my look pretty simple. I think it’s better not to wear makeup all the time and to take a break that makes it exciting when you do wear a look. As long as it’s not green eyeshadow she doesn’t mind me wearing makeup for school. If it’s natural and fresh, that’s fine.”
Lila – who was recently announced as the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty less than a week after celebrating her 16th birthday – admitted becoming a beauty ambassador for the cosmetic brand was a “dream come true” and her go-to look is a “gold coppery eye”.
Lila added: “When mum told me Marc wanted to couple up with mum and me, I couldn’t believe it. It was such a dream come true. It feels amazing [to be the face of the campaign].
“I love a gold, coppery eye as it’s great with my green eyes. I just tried the look out at home and loved it. The You Slay colour in the palette is the perfect shade for this.”
Lila also revealed that her mother Kate “steals” items out of her beauty bag and the teen makes sure she cleanses her skin properly “before bed”.
Lila said: “Recently, mum stole my new Velvet Noir Mascara. Don’t worry though – I’ll be getting it back! I always use the Beauty Elixir spray every day before moisturising. It works! And it makes you look more glowy and dewy. I always wash my face and moisturise before bed.”

Simon Mayo quits BBC Radio 2

OHMYGOSSIP — Simon Mayo has quit BBC Radio 2.
The 60-year-old DJ has decided to leave the drive time show on the UK radio station to focus on his book writing career, as he needed to let go of one of his jobs to allow him to work on his popular tomes.
Simon says he’s “sad” to be leaving his co-host Jo Whiley behind at Wogan House, but admits “juggling” the two jobs was proving “increasingly tricky”.
In a series of tweets, he announced: “So. A few things to say. Very sadly, I have decided to move on from Radio 2. Sad to leave the show, sad to leave Jo, sad to leave Wogan House (I thought I’d be dragged out aged 120). But circumstances change…
“Juggling my writing and radio has become increasingly tricky (a nice problem to have). I’ve just signed a new 2 book deal with the nice folk at Transworld and they’ll be expecting something half decent before too long.
“On top of that my ‘Itch’ books are about to be filmed for television in Australia and the work turning ‘Mad Blood Stirring’ into a movie continues apace.
“I know, I know, I’m as surprised at this turn of events as you. But at my grand old age to be setting off on these brand new trails is enormous fun. And all the more so for being so unexpected. There are, however, only so many hours in a day.”
Simon will still be keeping his foot in radio work as he will continue co-hosting his 5Live show with Mark Kermode.
The broadcaster also insisted that he has the upmost respect for his colleague Jo, and labelled rumours they did not get on as “appalling”.
He added: “I’ll continue with the (flagship) film show on 5Live with Mark Kermode and, beyond that, other radio adventures beckon! But for now it’s just the sadness of leaving. Radio 2 has been a wonderful place for me-my happiest radio I think. Our listeners are really quite extraordinary.
“One other thing. Maybe it needs to be said, maybe not but so there is no room for argument I’ll be clear. I’ve loved working with the exceptional Jo Whiley and when the show was ‘reconfigured ‘ she was my first and only choice.
“Some of the abuse she has had here has been appalling. Support for a show is one thing, assaulting the dignity of a warm-hearted and loyal friend is another.
“So by all means discuss what’s happening here, but let’s keep some civility. Thank you. Here endeth the lesson. And (one very final thing), as anyone who has worked here will attest, the producers and APs are a class apart. Brilliant production teams make our jobs a joy.
“Thanks to each and every one.
“Onwards. (sic)”
Simon’s departure follows Eddie Mair moving to LBC and Chris Evans joining Virgin Radio’s breakfast show.

David and Victoria Beckham’s Cotswolds home targeted by masked raiders

OHMYGOSSIP — David and Victoria Beckham’s Cotswolds home was reportedly targeted by masked raiders last week.
Police were called to the 43-year-old retired soccer star and 44-year-old fashion designer’s £6 million pad in Great Tew, Oxfordshire, after three balaclava-wearing intruders were caught on CCTV outside the lavish property.
According to The Sun newspaper, they were spotted by guests staying at nearby Soho Farmhouse and reportedly placed a ladder up against the wall in a bid to have a view of any expensive items on display in the home.
The trio did not go inside the property – which the couple often visit to take time out from their hectic work schedules – and nothing was stolen, however, the incident shook up the couple who were left “devastated” by the news.
A source said: “David and Victoria are devastated by this.”
The couple were believed to be on a flight to Australia when the incident took place.
News of the attempted intrusion comes after David – who has kids Brooklyn, 19, Romeo,16, Cruz, 13, and Harper, seven, with Victoria – admitted his marriage is “always hard work”.
The former England captain admits the showbiz power couple’s 19-year union has become “a little more complicated”, because they have been married for so long.
He said: “To have been married for the amount of time that we have, it’s always hard work.
“It becomes a little more complicated.”
David also opened up about fatherhood, admitting he appreciates the “little things” in life.
In a teaser trailer for a chat with Australian TV show ‘The Sunday Project’, he added: “Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.
“I’ve noticed that with my children.”
Victoria recently insisted she and her spouse are “stronger together” than they would be on their own, and the couple have “respect” for their family unit.
She said: “We both realise that we are stronger together than we are as individuals.
“Would either of us be in the position that we are in now had we not met and been together all those years ago?
“It’s all about the family unit. We are much stronger the six of us, than we would be if we were individuals. We respect that family bond and that is key.”

Enrique Iglesias: I have sex for breakfast

OHMYGOSSIP — Enrique Iglesias has quipped that he has “sex for breakfast”.
The ‘Hero’ singer has been with his long-time partner Anna Kournikova – with whom he has 10-month-old twins Nicholas and Lucy – for 17 years, and he joked that the secret ingredient to keeping their romance alive is plenty of early morning love-making sessions.
He told Vick Hope on UK TV show ‘Lorraine’: “Well that’s exactly what I do for breakfast!”
Whilst the pair have not rushed to tie the knot, the 43-year-old star hasn’t ruled out getting married.
He admitted: “I mean, when you’ve been with someone for quite a while, the way I have, it’s like being married.
“No, I’m not. I’d like to get married maybe in the future.”
The dark-haired hunk recently confessed he has “more sex than ever” since becoming a father.
He spilled: “It’s probably more sex now than ever. The sex has not diminished.”
The couple have been together since 2001, and though they have their “ups and downs”, the singer couldn’t be happier.
He gushed: “Like any couple, you still go through your ups and downs and it’s not always perfect. But it is perfect in a way.
“It’s incredible to watch her be such a great mother. It’s incredible to watch a mum do what she does, when a mother’s instinct kicks in.”
Despite being so happy with the 37-year-old former tennis star, Enrique admitted shortly before their twins were born that he still hadn’t introduced Anna to his father, singer Julio Iglesias.
He previously admitted: “They still haven’t met, no. They have to meet at some point.”
Enrique raised eyebrows when he introduced Anna as his wife during a concert in Russia in 2011, but he subsequently admitted he simply got caught up in the moment.
He said: “It was just meant to be sweet, in the moment. I honestly didn’t mean to confuse people. I thought it’d be easier for the audience to understand than if I said, ‘my girl’.
“I’ve never really thought marriage would make a difference. Maybe it’s because I come from divorced parents, but I don’t think you love someone more because of a piece of paper. And nowadays it’s not taboo to have kids and not be married.
“What makes a difference is that you’re a good parent.”

Joe Tracini thanks life-saver Emmett J Scanlan

OHMYGOSSIP — Joe Tracini has thanked Emmett J. Scanlan for saving his life by driving him to rehab when he weighed just five-and-a-half stone due to drug issues.
The former ‘Hollyoaks’ star enlisted the help of his former flat mate when he told him he needed support six years ago, and Emmett immediately set about trying to help his pal.
Joe said: “I’ve been in rehab three times. The first two for drugs and one for depression. The first time I ever went to rehab I was living with Emmett, which is entirely coincidental, and I said, ‘I need to go.’
“Within hours he’d found me a rehab about 50 miles away and he was driving me there at four o’clock in the afternoon.
“I’d been up for eight years.
“I wasn’t very well, I weighed about five and half stone. I was not good.”
Joe, 30, remembers Emmett – who played Brendan Brady in the Channel 4 soap – “falling to his knees” and reassuring him when he had to ring his mum to tell her he had entered rehab.
He said: “I had to phone my mum and tell her where I was.
“I said, ‘Mum, we’re in rehab now,’ and he collapsed, and he fell to knees and he grabbed my hand, and he just kept saying ‘It’ll be OK. It’ll be OK.’
“And it was. But he didn’t know it was going to be OK at that point, he didn’t understand. He was just my friend telling me that I was going to be alright.”
Joe – who portrayed Dennis Savage in ‘Hollyoaks’ – has also encouraged his fans to watch 39-year-old Emmett’s new show ‘Butterfly’, which tells the story of 11-year-old Max who identifies as a girl, and wants to live out her life as Maxine.
Speaking in a video on his Twitter account, he added: “I hate to say it but Emmett saved my life, and if you watch that show, it might save yours.
“Or at the very least, make you feel strong enough to live the one you were meant to.
“So please watch that, and I’m very proud of my friend.”

Lucy Boynton responds to Bohemian Rhapsody critics

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucy Boynton has defended ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ over accusations it ‘ignores’ Freddie Mercury’s sexuality.
The 24-year-old actress – who plays the late Queen frontman’s friend and former fiancee Mary Austin in the biopic opposite leading man Rami Malek – has hit out at critics suggesting the movie would downplay his relationship with men and his battle with AIDS.
She told Digital Spy: “It’s when people want to have something to criticise that is kind of jarring, especially because it does and the one thing that we’re so proud of with this film is that I don’t feel it ever steps over the line into any kind of expose or intrusiveness.
“I don’t know what people wanted to see in terms of… they always ask about the darkness of Freddie and such and it’s like, it’s a celebration and ode to [him].”
The ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ star admitted it was frustrating that the backlash came after a short trailer which was “supposed to tease basically nothing” about the film.
She is involved in a vital scene in the movie which sees Mary and Freddie breakup while addressing the iconic singer’s sexuality.
Boynton – who didn’t speak to Austin herself about the conversation – added: “Obviously that’s a creative interpretation because no one else was in the room so no one else knows what exactly was said.
“It was a weird moment of trying to navigate the most beneficial way to portray it to give the most impact on the audience, but also what she would be comfortable about seeing now and what was true to the situation then. It’s a whole juggling act, it’s really terrifying.”

Boyzone have more male fans than female now

OHMYGOSSIP — Boyzone get more attention from male fans than their female admirers.
The pop group’s fan base has changed over the years and now instead of girls running on stage it’s more likely a “tattooed geezer with a beard” will try and crash a performance from the group – made up of Keith Duffy, Ronan Keating, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Shane said: “We used to have girls running on stage. We now have tattooed geezers with beards there’ve been men trying to get on stage and give you hugs. I like that.”
Mikey added: “They’re old enough to not be embarrassed about being a Boyzone fan.”
Shane, 42, admitted that it’s a pleasant change meeting male fans rather than men who are jealous that “their girlfriends are into them”.
He said:”It’s nice to walk into a public place and men want to shake your hand as opposed to wanting to fight you because their girlfriends are into you.”
Although the band has loyal fans, they have revealed they don’t have any plans to make themselves or their late bandmate Stephen Gately into a hologram.
Speaking about the news that Amy Winehouse is to be made into a hologram for a tour, Mikey admitted: “To be honest, I think it’s a bit too soon with Amy. There was a Roy Orbison hologram recently and an Elvis thing that did well but that was long after those guys passed by.”
Whilst Shane added: “I don’t think it’s something we would ever think about.”
And Ronan quipped: “I suppose we could end up staying at home, like Abba are.”
Before concluding: “When we are long gone, maybe – but until then we’ll keep doing it ourselves and turn up … we probably wouldn’t get paid otherwise.”

Elton John can’t do Teenage Cancer Trust shows because of Vegas residency

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Elton John hasn’t been able to do any Teenage Cancer Trust shows because of his Las Vegas residency.
The 71-year-old singer’s husband David Furnish has fired back at Roger Daltrey’s claims the ‘Rocket Man’ star has ignored requests to perform at the charity concerts.
Speaking to the Mirror, David said: “Elton was puzzled when that came out because every time Roger has asked, we have responded. The reason Elton has not been able to support is because he has been in Las Vegas doing his residency.
“And we’ve always got back to Roger. We had tremendous respect for the work that he’s doing. When the requests have come in, Elton has always said: ‘This is amazing. And I’d really like to support it when I have the time.’
The Who rocker Roger had said he supported Elton’s AIDS Foundation three times in the past, but even this has been refuted.
David added: “Elton is a big, global star. He’s now in the middle of a three-year farewell tour. We just can’t stick him on a plane and move him around.
“But we’ve supported in other ways. Elton has actually done video announcements and things. We do what we can.
“The surprising thing was when Roger said he had been performing at our events, which is completely untrue.”
He added that the pair haven’t confronted Roger directly because they’re “not that close”, but he suggested maybe the musician was just in a bad mood when he made his original comments.
He said: “We’re not that close. We reached out through mutual friends to say: ‘Huh? We’ve always responded.’
“Maybe he was just having a bad day.”

Swedish House Mafia confirm huge hometown reunion show

OHMYGOSSIP — Swedish House Mafia will reunite with brand new music for a special Stockholm show in 2019.
The EDM stars – who underwent a farewell tour in 2012 – will be back in their hometown for the first time in over six years when they play the Tele2 Arena on May 4.
The exciting announcement comes after the group – made up of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello – appeared at Ultra Music Festival in Miami earlier this year for a surprise performance, which got fans speculating about a possible comeback.
The trio will also play “never-before-heard” tunes at the reunion, which will mark only the second time they have taken to the stage in their hometown.
During their farewell tour, Swedish House Mafia treated 133,000 fans to three sold-out shows at Friends Arena in Stockholm.
A press release said: “That dream of seeing Swedish House Mafia return has become reality as Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello have now chosen to put the past behind them and come together, not just as Swedish House Mafia but as artists, and more importantly as three best friends with a message.”
Tickets for the huge show will go on sale on Saturday (27.10.18) at 12.00am at livenation.se.
Speaking earlier this year, Steve revealed: “During summer everyone is traveling a lot, but we’ve entered the studio. I can’t really say much more.”
Although they haven’t confirmed a release date, it was previously suggested the album could drop in time for a run on the road in 2019.
He said of a tour next year: “It’s happening, obviously.
“Not all the details are set, but we will be back in 2019.”
The band’s decision to reunite comes just two years after they said they were happy doing their own thing but were adamant not to rule out a comeback in the future.
Axwell explained: “I think we’re all in our happy places right now. Having said that it would be stupid of me to say never [to a reunion].
“Maybe one day something will happen inside of us that says ‘boom’. But it’s more [likely to be] coming from us than at a festival.”

Claudia Winkleman’s jumpsuits inspired by kids’ TV

OHMYGOSSIP — Claudia Winkleman wears jumpsuits because they remind her of her favourite children’s TV programmes.
The 46-year-old star misses watching kids’ television shows now her three children, Jake, 15, Matilda Martha, 12, and Arthur, seven, are getting older and so she dons her signature jumpsuits as they remind her of CBeebies character Mr. Tumble.
Writing in her Sunday Times’ Style magazine column, she revealed: “The horror of babies growing up is made worse by the fact that you can no longer watch Igglepiggle [from ‘In the Night Garden’]or the ‘Wonder Pets’, or my favourite, the ‘Teletubbies’.
“If you’re missing those days – the hazy moments … then may I suggest a jumpsuit? It’s cool, but also has a touch of Mr. Tumble about it.”
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ host admitted her children are growing up faster than she expected, and she recently revealed that Jake is embarrassed by her job and wants her to quit the BBC ballroom show.
Claudia explained: “My eldest son has got a buzzcut. He’s 15 and he thinks his mum’s a loser. It’s heartbreaking. The main thing he wants me to do is just not do ‘Strictly’. ‘Mum, if you really love me, you’d stop.’
“He’s just embarrassed. But that’s the whole point. My job is to embarrass him, so I just follow him around trying to lick his ear. He’s the cutest thing ever.”
While Claudia has no plans to walk away from ‘Strictly’, she has left her other BBC shows, ‘The Film Show’ and ‘The Great British Sewing Bee’ so that she can be at home for her children.
She said: “I want to be home between 4pm and 8pm. These shows, you just have to do them properly, they are 12-hour days.
“It’s big commitment, it’s a whole series, and I just thought I won’t be able to do it properly because I’ll go, ‘Can I just go and pick up my son?'”
