OHMYGOSSIP — Bring Me The Horizon have collaborated with Grimes on a song on their new album ‘amo’.
Oli Sykes and co unveiled the full track-listing for their much-anticipated follow-up to 2015’s ‘That’s The Spirit’ after sharing new track ‘wonderful life’ last night (21.10.18), which features heavy metal vocalist Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth, and the band also revealed the record will be released on January 25.
The Canadian singer – whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher – provides vocals on the track ‘nihilist blues’.
As well as Grimes and Dani Filth, beatboxer Rahzel features on the track ‘heavy metal’.
The track-listing reveal comes after Oli admitted he would love the chance to work with some mainstream acts now Bring Me The Horizon have crossed over from the underground metalcore scene, and said Azealia Banks and FKA Twigs were on his wish list, along with fellow Sheffield band Arctic Monkeys.
He said: “Arctic Monkeys are cool.
“I also like FKA Twigs and Azealia Banks.
“We feel that no-one wants to work with us, but if anyone does then that’s cool.”
The 31-year-old rocker said it’s great that followers of indie pop outfit The 1975 are also fans of his band now.
He said: “We have a little more appeal to the mainstream now, which is what we’ve aimed for.
“We wanted to bring what we do to a wider audience, and show that rock doesn’t have to be this weird, scary thing.
“It feels like indie and rock and other types of music is merging together.
“People that listen to The 1975 are also listening to Bring Me The Horizon.”
Oli recently revealed Arctic Monkeys have always inspired Bring Me The Horizon because they aren’t afraid to alter their style from one album to the next.
The ‘Happy Song’ hitmaker believes more groups should embrace change in the music industry, and he has praised the band’s lead vocalist Alex Turner – who he went to school with in Sheffield, northern England – for “always” surprising people with his creative decisions.
He said: “They’ve always inspired us because they don’t really care what they’re big for.
“They could always come out with a new album and do the same thing, and it’d be fine. But they always go, ‘You know what, we’re doing this.’ I feel like that’s lacking music at the moment, to be honest.
“You know for a fact that, whatever the next album’s going to be, it’s not going to be the same as the last one.
“I just think that’s so cool. This one’s a bit more of maybe a passion project and it hasn’t got the hits like the last one [2013’s ‘AM’]. I love everything he says and I love how he always pushes that box out and [makes you go], ‘Oh my god, I can’t believe he’s said or done something like that.’ He just always surprises you.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Lee Curtis thinks her role in the ‘Halloween’ franchise is the “best part” she’s ever had.
The 59-year-old actress starred as Laurie Strode in the original ‘Halloween’ in 1978 and having subsequently reprised the part in four sequels, Jamie has praised the fullness of the character.
She explained: “Laurie Strode was the best part I had ever played because it was a full character, when I was 19 years old and the only thing a director or a costume designer would say to me was, ‘What size jeans do you wear?’
“I was a young, nubile girl, so it was just like, ‘Okay, put her in a cute pair of jeans,’ and here was a part that actually had a character. And now, here I am again, 40 f***ing years later.
“It’s whack that I get a role that has this complexity and depth, when I don’t get that. I’m lucky to get a job anywhere, at my age, and here is a job that has real depth.”
Jamie feels particularly thankful to have been given the opportunity to play a character with such “depth” at this point in her career.
The Hollywood veteran told Collider: “I’m way happy that women over 50 can get a job, and have a job that has depth.
“The thing that I took away from the movie was depth, emotion and emotional complexity.
“When it comes to trauma, how does it manifest? How does it manifest in a family? How does it isolate you? How does it distance you from people? I thought all of that was great.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Geena Davis and Joan Chen have joined the cast of ‘Eve’.
The ‘Stuart Little’ star and ‘Autumn in New York’ actress join lead Jessica Chastain and Colin Farrell, Common and John Malkovich in the forthcoming assassin thriller.
Though details of the pair’s characters are yet to be revealed, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Davis could be set to play Chastain’s alter-ego’s mother.
Tate Taylor is directing after bosses were forced to find a new filmmaker following Matthew Newton’s decision to step down over concerns about his abusive past.
This isn’t the first time Taylor and Chastain, 41, have worked together on the big screen as he previously directed her in ‘The Help’ back in 2011.
However, Jessica was no doubt devastated when Newton – who also penned the script – was pulled from the film as she was looking forward to working with him.
She said at the time: “Matthew is wonderfully adept at crafting complex and relatable characters. We’ve been fans of his work and are so thrilled to be partnering with him and Voltage on ‘Eve’.”
Official plot details are still a closely-guarded secret, but Eve (Chastain) is a female assassin who is being hunted by her former employers.
It’s not yet known whether bosses will go ahead and use Newton’s script.
Meanwhile, Jessica recently lashed out at Hollywood’s gender pay gap and insisted she “isn’t afraid” to speak out against inequality.
She explained: “It’s important to speak out and amplify our imbalance in the moviemaking industry. I have experienced no backlash from anyone since making my views public.
“I certainly wasn’t afraid to do it. Glad I did it. It’s taken a long time to get this far, and I’m out front for those who cannot speak out. We must turn this around.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Beastie Boys became what they had “always hated” following the success of ‘(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party)’.
The American rap group released the hit single in 1986 and Adam ‘Ad-Rock’ Horovitz has claimed that the public mistakenly saw the group as house-trashing, party-obsessed guys on the back of the video.
He writes in the ‘Beastie Boys Book’: “Unfortunately, when you’re a straight guy in your late teens/early twenties, you can easily fall into the stereotype’s own trappings. [We] became what we hated.”
Ad-Rock also revealed the group nearly gave their debut album a homophobic name, before they ultimately opted to title it ‘Licensed to Ill’.
However, there was never any malice intended behind the idea, which was suggested by producer Rick Rubin.
He shared: “The original title to this record was ‘Don’t Be a F***ot.’ It was Rick Rubin’s idea.
“It was meant to be a joke about jock frat dudes but homophobia’s not funny and we are truly sorry.”
The video for ‘(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party)’ featured Michael ‘Mike D’ Diamond sporting a Volkswagen medallion on a thick gold chain, which is said to have triggered fans stealing VW logos from cars.
But the carmaker ultimately found a way of turning the scenario to its advantage.
The company subsequently said, in reference to the rap group: “Many [owners] have been heard to out-swear a Beastie Boy (the results of finding their badges have gone missing).”

OHMYGOSSIP — James Bye is “over the moon” to be expecting his third child with wife Victoria after struggling to get pregnant again.
The ‘EastEnders’ star and his spouse – who already have Edward, five, and Louis, two, together – have revealed they are they are set to become parents to a “miracle” little boy after Victoria was diagnosed with the painful condition, endometriosis, in which tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus — the endometrium — grows outside the muscular organ.
Victoria told the latest issue of OK! magazine: “I fell pregnant really quickly with both Edward and Louis, so when we started trying for our third early last summer, we thought we’d fall pregnant quickly again.
“We tried for a couple of months and nothing happened. Then I began suffering from aches and pains in my abdominal area. I went for tests and it transpired I had severe endometriosis.”
Victoria says they were told that it was a miracle that she had given birth easily to Edward and Louis, let alone fall pregnant again.
She added: “The doctor was surprised I’d fallen pregnant so easily with my other children as he said it was likely it had been there the whole time.”
The pair had given up hope of ever having another baby, and were “surprised” to see a positive pregnancy test result after they attended the Soap Awards in June.
She recalled: “We didn’t think we’d be able to have any more children after two surgeries.
“We thought our baby-making days were over. Month after month, we’d see negative tests.
“But then in June we went to the Soap Awards and I didn’t fancy drinking, which is unlike me.
“When we got home I did a test and it was positive – we were so surprised!”
James – who is best known for playing Martin Fowler on the long-running BBC One soap – is thrilled that he is having a third son as the little tot completes his dream of having a “golf team” with his boys.
He smiled: “I’m over the moon it’s a boy. I play a lot of golf and you tend to go out in a group of four, so I have my future golf team ready now!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paddy McGuinness will star alongside Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff as one of the new hosts of ‘Top Gear’.
The BBC has confirmed that the ‘Take Me Out’ presenter and the former cricket star are set to replace Matt LeBlanc after the next series of the iconic car show.
Paddy said: “Getting the ‘Top Gear’ gig is a real honour and I’m thrilled the BBC have given me this opportunity.
“To be hosting a show I’ve watched and loved from being a small boy is beyond exciting.”
Freddie, 40 – who has appeared on numerous programmes since his retirement from cricket – was similarly excited by the opportunity.
He shared: “It’s not often you have the chance to do both of your dream jobs, but I’m now lucky enough to say I will have.
“I’ve always been passionate about cars and I’m so excited to be joining the ‘Top Gear’ team.”
Matt, 51, is set to quit the show after the next series, while Chris Harris will remain with the programme and Rory Reid will be moved to the spin-off show ‘Extra Gear’.
BBC bosses reportedly hope that by adding Paddy and Freddie to the presenting team, they’ll be able to “bring a new energy” to the show, which was previously hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “This news will have car manufacturers and the BBC’s insurance department on high alert.
“The BBC’s top bosses and everyone else involved in the casting were bowled over by Paddy and Freddie – they are utterly infectious and will bring a new energy and competitive spirit to the show.”
Matt – who is best-known for his starring role in ‘Friends’ – announced he was quitting ‘Top Gear’ earlier this year, having joined the show in 2016.

The 32-year-old model has revealed the couple’s two-year-old girl has been a fast learner when it comes to knowing what tools are used for each cosmetic product.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Every single time I’m doing my make-up I have to put her on the counter next to the sink and we’re doing it together.
“She knows what each little tool is for, she knows that the brows go up, she knows certain brushes are for certain things, she knows where the lip gloss goes.
“But I will say, she’s really obsessed with nails. She’s like a manicure kind of gal.”
The star – who gave birth to their son Miles in May – has also opened up about the beauty secrets and tips she wants to pass on to her daughter.

The showbiz matriarch took to her Instagram account on Sunday (21.10.18) to write a kind message about Kim, who was celebrating her 38th birthday.
Alongside a collage of photos of them together, Kris wrote: “Happy birthday @kimkardashian!!! The ‘Game of Thrones’ actor – who plays Gregor ‘ The Mountain’ Clegane in the HBO fantasy series – confirmed he had wed his significant other Kelsey Henson on Saturday (20.10.18), and the pair can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together.
The 29-year-old actor – who is 6ft 9ins – wrote on Instagram: “It is with great pleasure that I now get to call Kelsey Morgan Henson my wife!

OHMYGOSSIP — Coronation Street’s Peter and Simon Barlow’s lives will “hang in the balance” in a terrifying boat blaze.
The ‘Corrie’ characters – played by Chris Gascoyne and Alex Bain – could meet their makers next year when Peter rushes to Simon’s rescue when he is trapped below deck as an inferno intensifies around him.
A TV source said: “There’s a massive fire on a boat on the canal and Simon is inside.
“Peter and Simon’s lives hang in the balance. It’s going to be a huge stunt. They’re planning massive pyrotechnics and special FX.”
The big blaze will take place on the Weatherfield Canal, but Peter will manage to rescue his son by chucking him onto the towpath.
The source added to The Sun’s Bizarre TV column: “Someone raises the alarm and Peter races to rescue his son who has passed out from smoke inhalation. He will jump on to the burning boat and go below deck to try to get to Simon.
“He will manage to rescue him by throwing his lifeless body over the side and into the arms of neighbours, gathered on the side of the canal.”
The stunt is set to play out in the spring, and comes after Peter was shot in the chest with a paintball gun by a gang fronted by Simon’s bully Tyler Jefferies (Will Barnett).
Chris recently said: “This has been hanging over them for months and he knows Simon is not safe with Tyler out for revenge. Things turn really nasty this week when Peter gets caught in the crossfire, literally.
“Tyler’s mates have a gun and they fire out of a car window, Peter is hit in the chest and Carla is hysterical.”
It will not be the first time a big stunt has played out on the canal. Evil serial killer Richard Hillman (Brian Capron) tried to kill Gail (Helen Worth), Sarah (Tina O’Brien), David (Jack P. Shepherd) and Bethany Platt, who is now played by Lucy Fallon, by driving them into the waterway in 2003.

OHMYGOSSIP — Alan Halsall has signed a new ‘Coronation Street’ contract which will see him reach 20 years on the soap.
The 36-year-old actor has put pen to paper on a new deal to remain on the cobbles as Tyrone Dobbs until 2019, and he is “humbled” about being in Weatherfield for more than two decades.
He said: “I’m born and raised in Salford where ‘Coronation Street’ is set, so it’s always been a big thrill for me and my family when I sign a new contract.
“To reach the 20-year milestone makes me feel old but I’m also really humbled by it.”
Alan would be “devastated” the day he has to leave the ITV soap, but says it is “always expected” that he will have to walk away from Weatherfield.
He added to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: “Not knowing what will happen is part and parcel of my job. It’s always expected that my character could be written out.
“I would be devastated but that possibility is part of what I do.”
When he is not on the cobbles, Alan can be found in the gym at times, recently admitting he has been spending “all day” working out for three days a week as part of a healthy lifestyle.
He said: “I’ve had a PT (personal trainer) for about four/five months.
“I’ve been coming to the gym for a few years now. I’ve transformed a little bit myself and people have seen that. I like to come [to the gym].
“I have a pre-workout meal, I work out, then I have a post-workout meal or a swim and a steam. I can come here and learn my lines. You can pretty much spend the day here.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Leigh doesn’t like being told what to do.
The acclaimed filmmaker has admitted he’ll happily walk away from a project if he hasn’t developed a healthy relationship with the people he’s working with.
The 75-year-old director shared: “I’m open to people who are happy for me to do what I do.
“I’m not open to anybody who tries to tell me what to do. I have on many occasions walked away from a project where there’s been even the suggestion that, ‘Well, we’ll back the film so long as there’s an American star in it.’ Walk away.”
Mike feel it’s important he’s given the freedom to create his films in the way he initially imagined.
And if he does start to witness interference from outside influences, he has no qualms about turning his back on a movie.
The ‘Vera Drake’ director told the Observer newspaper: “I have [walked away] on a number of occasions. It’s like a novelist being told what the novel should have in it. Or a painter being told, ‘It must include a lighthouse.’ And that’s the polite version.”
Mike’s films have always tended to focus on contemporary issues, and he’s admitted to being particularly inspired by the 1959 movie ‘Room at the Top’, which was set in a town in northern England.
He explained: “Now when I saw it, which was in a local cinema in north Salford, what was exciting about it was if you walked out of the cinema into the street, it was the same world as was in the pictures.
“I’d spent all of that time up till then sitting as a kid thinking, ‘Wouldn’t it be great if you could have a film where the characters in the film were like real people?'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Don Johnson has been cast alongside Daniel Craig in ‘Knives Out’.
The 68-year-old actor has been added to the supporting cast for the Rian Johnson-directed movie, which will see Daniel star in the lead role, according to Deadline.
The upcoming film has been billed as a modern-day murder mystery, though plot details remain under wraps for the time being.
Chris Evans, Michael Shannon, and Lakeith Stanfield have all already been cast in ‘Knives Out’.
And the Cuban actress Ana De Armas – who previously appeared in ‘Blade Runner 2049’ – is another of the big-name stars poised to appear in the movie, which is set to begin shooting in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Rian previously revealed that he and his long-time producing partner Ram Bergman were looking forward to working with Daniel.
The American director – who helmed ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ in 2017 – said: “I have been a huge fan and always wanted to work with him and as I worked on the script, trying to get it right, Ram and I were wringing our hands over who could be the detective.
“Then, serendipitously, we heard Daniel might have a small window, and it worked out. He’s an actor of extraordinary range, and we are looking forward to the fun of finding that modern detective, and collaborating with Daniel on creating a new ‘Poirot’.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paula Abdul fell off stage during a concert over the weekend.
The 56-year-old star was singing her 1991 single ‘The Promise of a New Day’ at the time as she clapped and danced towards the edge of the stage when the scary incident occurred.
In a video of the accident, Paula could be seen falling head first into the crowd, with the audience heard gasping and screaming after the slip up during Saturday’s (20.10.18) show in Biloxi, Mississippi.
As reported by TMZ, the ‘Straight Up’ hitmaker didn’t the fall keep her down as she was helped back on stage at the Hard Rock Live venue and continued with the show.
Speaking before the current tour, the former ‘American Idol’ judge admitted she was starting to get nervous about the live run as they got closer.
She previously explained: “There aren’t enough days. It’s like, every 24 hours that go by I’m like, ‘Oh, s**t! It’s one less day [until] my first show!’
“It’s really close, especially [considering] everything you put into a tour. It’s everything – hiring your crew, the creative team, the buses, costuming, the dancers, producers, music, all of it! There aren’t enough hours in the day.”
Meanwhile, Paula also revealed she finds it “heartwarming” that people still care about her after decades in the industry.
She said: “I didn’t know whether or not people would care if I came back after 20-plus years, but it was very heartwarming and it felt incredible. I don’t take anything for granted. I was very surprised and my heart was swelling, it really was.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ozzy Osbourne is already excited to return to the stage after cancelling tour dates due to a hand infection.
The 69-year-old rocker has undergone surgery to treat an infection in his hand, and he has been forced to push back his North American run until 2019 to make sure he gives himself time to recover.
He told Rolling Stone magazine: “I was really looking forward to doing the Hollywood Bowl. I’m going to make those shows up next year. It could have been a lot worse. I could have been dead.”
Now visiting a specialist once a week – initially it was three visits each week – Ozzy doesn’t expect to feel like his old self, but he revealed he is “well on the mend”.
He added: “To be honest with you, I didn’t feel that bad all along. I said to the doctor at one point, ‘When can I work out?’ He said, ‘You can do whatever you like, but I don’t advise you to for at least 10 days.’
“I tried working out for two minutes and I thought I was gonna f***in’ die, because the antibiotic knocks the wind out of your sails big-time. So I went, ‘You know what? I’ll let the doctor be the doctor and I’ll be the patient.’
“So now compared to what I was like, I feel about 85 to 90 percent better. So I’m well on the mend.”
When he was hospitalised – which saw the Black Sabbath legend put on drip and pill antibiotics – the musician didn’t consider cancelling any shows after the initial treatment.
He admitted: “I said to Sharon, ‘What the fuck am I gonna do for the gig?’ Then the doctor said, ‘You must be f***ing crazy. You get another staph infection, and you could die.’
“He said, ‘One’s enough. You’ve got three individual ones.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid have been confirmed for this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Brian Atwood – the man responsible for the shoes the 2018 models will be wearing – let slip on social media that the two beautiful models will be part of the spectacular lingerie catwalk show which will be taking place in New York City this year.
Sharing a photo of Gigi in the 2017 show on his Instagram account, he wrote: “Less than 1 month away!!!!
