OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Seacrest plans to give Katy Perry tickets to his own show for her birthday.
The ‘Dark Horse’ singer turns 34 on Thursday (25.10.18) and the ‘American Idol’ presenter admitted he was low on gift ideas for the show’s judge.
Ryan said: “Katy has everything, so I am not quite sure what we’re going to get her. Maybe just tickets to ‘Live With Kelly and Ryan’. They are free. That would be great. That’s a good idea!”
But the ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ hitmaker admitted she wasn’t expecting anything from Ryan or her fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.
She joked to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Their presence is my present. I give them the gift of them getting to be able to sit next to me every day.”
And Katy is only too happy to be spending her birthday at ‘American Idol’ auditions because she and the rest of the team have a great time working together.
Luke said: “We don’t have to be all pins and needles about poking and having fun. And nobody’s going to get their ego hurt, their feelings hurt. We know how much fun we can have with each other.”
Katy added: “We are not going to tell our managers later to go talk to them.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Firework’ singer – who was previously married to Russell Brand – recently praised her boyfriend Orlando Bloom for being an “anchor” in her life and not being afraid to “call her out” when she’s acting “cuckoo”.
She said of the ‘Lord of the Rings’ star: “[He’s] a great anchor.”
She then added in an interview: “For some reason, I attract people who are really real and call me out on stuff when I’m being cuckoo.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ricky Martin wants to give over 100 Puerto Rican families new homes by Christmas.
The 46-year-old singer has been working hard to raise money for those displaced by a hurricane in September 2017 – which killed an estimated 2,975 people and caused more than $100 billion in damage to property and the power grid – and he’s got a new goal in place for the coming months.
In a surprise appearance on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’, he said: “For an entire year many, many Puerto Rico residents had no power, no electricity…
“Many families lost absolutely everything and my goal is, before Christmas, I want to hand out 100 to 110 keys to houses that we’ve built and rebuilt.
The generous presenter instantly donated $20,000 to his foundation to help him reach his target.
The ‘Shake Your Bon-Bon’ hitmaker has also enlisted his twin sons, 10-year-old Matteo and Valentino, into helping with his fundraising efforts and they have designed a t-shirt to raise money for relief.
He said: “The other day I was at home and my kids were asking ‘Dad, how can we help kids from Puerto Rico?’ ‘Why don’t you draw the Puerto Rican flag and let’s do this.’
“That later on became a shirt and you can get this shirt to help build and rebuild houses.”
And Ricky called for people to visit the island in a bid to bring more money in through tourism, Puerto Rico’s main source of income.
He said: “We live off of tourism, if you want to help us, come and visit the island! We have the most amazing beaches, great restaurants, great hotels – but still we need help.”
Elsewhere on the show, the ‘Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story’ actor shared his excitement at marrying Jwan Yosef earlier this year.
He said: “It feels amazing, it feels like its been a decade but this is a good thing. Like we’ve been through so much together, it’s been beautiful.”

The ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ hitmaker – who is married to Sara McDonald – has revealed the unusual request a number of fans has asked of him.
Asked if it was true that a fan had requested for him to sleep with his wife, he said: “That is not the first time I have been asked and when I retire from music I’ll put myself out to stud and see how it goes.”
And there is another thing that Noel doesn’t like being asked – for selfies.
He added: “People say, ‘Can I take a quick photo?’ I mean, can you? Somebody said to me the other night in Manchester if they could get a picture and then they said, ‘Can I get a proper one now, can you smile?’ I was like ‘f*** off.’ I remember signing an autograph outside Selfridges and the girl said to me, ‘What does that say?’ I said, it says Noel Gallagher, and she said, ‘I can’t read it, no one will be able to read it.’ I said, ‘You have just watched me do it.’ So I took it back off her.”
The ‘It’s a Beautiful World’ hitmaker says his American fans are not as “crazy” as others.
Speaking in a Q and A in London earlier this week, as quote in the Daily Mirror newspaper, he shared: “They don’t go crazy, they are there to see a concert performance. We were there one night and it was snowing and I thought there is no way anyone would come but they did. There were three girls in the front row and it became apparent one had dragged the other two along, one girl was on her phone and whatever f***ing song I was playing when I looked at her, she yawned.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Fizz have announced their first ever Christmas album will be released next month.
The group – made up of Bucks Fizz founding members Cheryl Baker, Jay Aston and Mike Nolan – continued their storied career with ‘The F-Z of Pop’ last year, and now they’re set to unveil a collection of festive songs.
‘Christmas With The Fizz’ is set to be released on November 16, and Jay found it difficult as she recorded her vocals before undergoing treatment for mouth cancer.
She said: “This has been a very unusual time for me with my health issues developing during the recording of the album – I am happy to report things are much better now! “We are so happy with the album and we hope you agree. Merry Christmas everyone …now I realize every day is like Christmas.”
Her bandmate Cheryl revealed how special the festive season has been for her and her family, and added how excited she was to get the band back on stage together.
She explained: “Christmas is without doubt my favourite time of year so to release a Fizz album at Christmas is a dream come true! My parents were married on Christmas Day and I was proposed to on Christmas Day so it has always been more than just Christmas to me.
“The best Christmas present this year is that Jay will be back on stage with us.”
And Mike picked out his favourite songs, and said the hot weather during the sessions certainly gave it an unusual twist.
He added: “What a thrill it was to be in a studio singing ‘White Christmas’ and ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’ and it’s 82° outside.
“What a great time we had doing it in shorts and T-shirts, and to have Jay fighting fit again is really the greatest present of all.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake cancelled his New York concert due to bruised vocal chords.
The ‘Cry Me A River’ hitmaker was set to play a huge show at Madison Square Garden, but he was forced to pull out of his appearance at the iconic venue on the advice of his doctor.
In a note shared on Twitter, JT wrote: “Hey guys, I’m sorry to announce I have to postpone the show at MSG tonight on doctor’s orders.
“My vocal cords are severely bruised. I’m gonna make this up to you and the new show will be on my birthday, January 31.
“More info to come. Again I’m so sorry to do this, but excited to see you soon. Love, J”
The show will be a great way for Justin to mark his 37th birthday, and his fans have been very understanding about the announcement.
One tweeted: “Your health and well being are the most important thing. We love you. Take care. See you soon”

Meanwhile, JT will release his book ‘Hindsight & All the Things I Can’t See in Front of Me’ on October 30.

OHMYGOSSIP — Larry Lamb inspired Adam Thomas to quit ‘Emmerdale’.
Adam appeared alongside the former ‘EastEnders’ star on the 16th series of reality show ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ in 2016, and admits the ‘Gavin and Stacey’ actor’s advice, while they were Down Under, led to him hang up his Adam Barton overalls.
He said: “I remember him giving me some advice, saying, ‘You should just get out there, and try other things and take the jump.’
“And the first meeting I had with my boss when I get back to work was, ‘Listen, I’m done now. I’ve made up my mind.’
“And if I hadn’t done it then, then I wouldn’t have done it.”
Adam recently landed his first post-‘Emmerdale’ role since Adam Barton left our screens in January, and, ironically, he is to appear opposite Larry, in BBC drama ‘Pitching In’.
He said: “A year later, my first job is with the main man himself, Larry Lamb.
“I’m excited, it’s been an exciting couple of years since the jungle.”
There has been recent speculation that Adam may be heading back to the Dales in the near future – but he insists that is not the plan anytime soon.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, he added: “No, I’m not going back to ‘Emmerdale’, not yet anyway.”
As well as other acting roles, Adam has also landed a job as a property executive since departing ‘Emmerdale’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas will reportedly get married in December.
The couple – who got engaged in July after just a few months of dating – are reportedly planning to tie the knot in India before the end of the year.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: “The wedding is happening in India in December.”
It was previously revealed the couple plan to “blend traditions” from their respective cultures on their big day.
A source said in September: “They really want to blend wedding traditions from both of their cultures that are important to them.
“Priyanka is having a really good time planning the wedding because it’s a mix of Indian and American styles and customs, which she knows so much about.”
The 36-year-old actress is excited about starting a family with Nick as soon as they are married.
An insider said “They have amazing chemistry and can’t wait to have kids. They are going to wait till after the wedding to start trying. But it’s definitely on the agenda.”
And Priyanka recently admitted she thinks the couple – who had a traditional Roka ceremony in Mumbai in August – need to “catch up” with her friends when it comes to having children.

OHMYGOSSIP — Frank Grillo thinks an African American actor could be in line to replace Chris Evans as Captain America.
The 53-year-old actor – who played Crossbones in the second and third ‘Captain America’ films – has admitted to hearing various rumours about the identity of Chris’ replacement as the iconic superhero.
He told Larry King: “I don’t know, but there have been rumours that Captain America could be African American. It could be a woman. You know? So they’re looking.”
Chris, 37, is poised to walk away from the coveted role at the end of the fourth ‘Avengers’ movie, having starred in multiple Marvel films.
But the Hollywood star previously admitted to attending therapy when he took the role, confessing he was “apprehensive about taking the movie”.
Chris shared: “I was nervous about the lifestyle change, about the commitment.
“You know, it’s six movies, that can last 10 years. I love making movies but I’m not dead set on being a gigantic movie star. I like to have the option to walk away if I want, with a six-picture deal, you can’t walk away.
“I also like having anonymity, I’ve managed to work and kind of stay under the radar. You know, I’m not on top of everyone’s list and I can’t make any movie I want. I can make some and I make a decent living, but I can still go to a ballgame or Disney world. Losing that and having to change my lifestyle was just terrifying.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Viggo Mortensen hopes to be a “team player” as a director.
The 60-year-old actor was recently tasked with directing his first feature film, the drama ‘Falling’, and Viggo has revealed he plans to lean on his past experiences on different film sets.
He shared: “I’ve been very lucky.
“I’ve had some great teachers over the years. I’ve been in more than one movie that most actors would be happy to just have that one in their career. I’ve been in many good stories and I’ve worked with great directors.”
Aside from the technical challenges of being a filmmaker, Viggo revealed he’s determined to develop a healthy, collaborative environment on the set of ‘Falling’.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: “There’s one thing that I pay to attention to, apart from the technical aspects of storytelling, that I think is the most important on a human level and on a creative level.
“It’s that no matter how different the tastes or the storytelling techniques of David Cronenberg or Matt Ross or Pete Farrelly, all of them share one thing in common: they’re team players.”
Viggo said he’ll always be open to listening to new ideas, and admitted he can see some strong similarities between acting and directing.
He explained: “Somebody, I’m sure, is going to give me an idea I haven’t thought of. That idea of listening is the same with acting.
“The foundation to good acting is good reacting, listening, paying attention to what’s around you. That’s how things can go from the level of good to the level of unexpectedly great.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Johnny Depp has been cast as war photographer W. Eugene Smith in the independent drama ‘Minamata’.
The Hollywood star will play the central role in the upcoming movie, which will tell the story of Smith’s work as a photographer for Life magazine and his involvement in the exposing of the poisoning of the people of Minamata, Japan.
Andrew Levitas – who is directing the project – said: “Working with Johnny to give voice to those who have been silently suffering is a responsibility we do not take lightly.
“Much like Eugene Smith in 1971, we could not feel more privileged or humbled to be tasked with the mission of bringing this incredible story to the world.”
The upcoming movie will tell the story of how Smith was convinced by Life Magazine editor Ralph Graves to head to Japan to expose the devastation caused in the coastal community through mercury poisoning.
Meanwhile, Disney is reportedly seeking a reboot of its popular ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise.
The studio is exploring the possibility of launching a reboot of the money-spinning film series, which starred Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow.
Disney has reportedly met with ‘Deadpool’s writing duo Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick to pen the script and are in “early talks” following their success with the superhero franchise.
However, it is yet to be confirmed whether Depp will reprise his role as the drunken pirate.

OHMYGOSSIP — Panic! At The Disco will perform at this year’s MTV European Music Awards.
The ‘High Hopes’ group will perform their track at the prestigious ceremony on November 4 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Spain.
The Grammy nominated rockers – fronted by Brendan Urie – have been added to a star-studded bill for the huge event.
Joining them on the lineup will be producer Marshmello, who will team up with Bastille on his hit ‘Happier’, before Anne-Marie steps up to play their track ‘FRIENDS’.
Also confirmed are ‘No One Compares To You’ duo Jack & Jack, and ‘Trust My Lonely’ singer Alessia Cara.
The new additions join previously announced host and performer Hailee Steinfield, as well as Nicki Minaj, Janet Jackson, Rosalia and Halsey.
Meanwhile, Lindsay Lohan will be at the show to present an award, while Anitta, Ashlee Simpson, Debby Ryan and Evan Ross has been confirmed for similar roles.
It’s said that more presenters and performers will be announced at a later date ahead of the ceremony.
Camila Cabello leads the nominations for the EMAs, as she’s up for six awards, including the prestigious Best Artist list.
However, the 21-year-old singer – who left her band Fifth Harmony in 2016 in order to go solo – will have to fight off some stiff competition if she’s to bag the big prize as she’s up against Ariana Grande, Drake, Dua Lipa and Post Malone.
The brunette beauty will also go head-to-head with Ariana and Dua for the Best Pop Artist prize, which also includes Hailee and Shawn Mendes, as well as the Best Video category and Best Song for her hit ‘Havana’ ft. Young Thug.

The 37-year-old former actress – who is expecting her first baby in the spring – travelled to Nadi, Fiji, on Thursday (25.10.18) with her husband Prince Harry, 34, to attend a special event at Nadi Airport, which paid homage to Sergeant Talaiasi Labalaba, a British-Fijian soldier who lost his life in the 1972 Battle of Mirbat.

The 77-year-old television personality encouraged her fans to vote in the upcoming US Midterm election by wearing home-made bedazzled shoes emblazoned with the word ‘Vote’ to the Alzheimer’s Associations Rita Hayworth Gala.
Sharing a picture of the shoes, she wrote: “What better way to send the most important message ! Emblazoned in faux diamonds on @Aerosoles_shoes sandals is the word VOTE Nothing is more important right now ! Get up! Get out ! Vote!

OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna’s mother has begged Rob Kardashian to let her see their daughter.
Tokyo Toni has a strained relationship with her famous offspring so turned to the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star in the hope he would make it easier for her to see the 23-month-old daughter Dream he raises with his former partner.
Tokyo – whose real name is Shalana Hunter – posted a video on Instagram in which she said: “Hey, Rob. This is me, Tokyo. Unfortunately, things still haven’t changed since we last spoke, obviously. And as far as Chyna is concerned, things still haven’t gotten better since you told social media about it.”
She went on to ask if there was “any way possible” for her to see the toddler, even if it was “through FaceTime or … a video to my DM”.
And Tokyo claimed she had no other way to reach out to the 31-year-old sock designer.
She added: “I don’t even know how the baby sounds. It’s absolutely ludicrous. This is the only way I can get through to you. I don’t have any numbers for anybody anymore.”
Tokyo has previously reached out to Amber Rose to ask for her help in seeing Dream and her grandson, six-year-old King – whose father is rapper Tyga – as she felt the model is one of the few people her 30-year-old daughter would listen to.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ricki Lake lost her virginity on the set of ‘Cry Baby’.
The 50-year-old actress admitted the first time she had sex was “really good” but confirmed it wasn’t the 1990 movie’s leading man, Johnny Depp, who she slept with.
Asked on ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’ if she lost her virginity on ‘Hairspray’ or ‘Cry-Baby’, she said: “‘Cry-Baby’… Not to Johnny Depp. [It was] another actor, a really handsome actor.
“He was very kind to me, and I was very large. I was very happy to get it over with because I was almost 21. He was really sweet. My first time was really a good one.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Hollyoaks’ Malique Thompson-Dwyer questioned why he had to take his top off for his storm rescue scenes.
The 20-year-old actor admits it was an “absolutely amazing experience” shooting the nail-biting sequence which saw his alter-ego Prince McQueen and Romeo Quinn (Owen Warner) take their shirts off and dive into the water to save Lily McQueen (Lauren McQueen) – despite already being soaking wet from the rain.
Malique said: “I actually asked the same question, ‘Why am I taking my top off?’ ”
And while the star enjoyed shooting the scenes, he found it tough because he cannot hold his breath for long.
He said: “It was an absolutely amazing experience, I’ve never done anything like that before, it was a challenge.
“We had to go to a pool to film it, it was a challenge because I can’t hold my breath for very long.”
Lauren has starred in ‘4 O’Clock Club’ and ‘Ordinary Lies’, but admits the storm scene was the “scariest thing” she’s ever had to do – because she is “not the biggest fan of water”.
Speaking at a ‘Hollyoaks’ Storm Week Q&A, she said: “It was the scariest thing I’ve had to do, I’m not the biggest fan of water, I wasn’t sure how long I could hold my breath.
“We had a full day in Blackpool, we did it in a big tank, not the little pond in Hollyoaks, but we learned to breathe in the glass bottles and stuff.
“I was proud of us all in the end, it was a real achievement.”
