Linkin Park dedicate live album to Chester Bennington

OHMYGOSSIP — Linkin Park have dedicated their upcoming live album to late frontman Chester Bennington.
The US rockers will drop ‘One More Light Live’ on December 15 after recording the record during their final run of shows, the ‘One More Light Tour’, before Chester took his own life in July 2017 aged 41.
They said in a statement: “We dedicate this live album to our brother Chester who poured his heart and soul into ‘One More Light.’
“After we finished recording the album, we joked with Chester that – since he had delivered so many stunning performances in the studio – he had set the bar extra high to produce that alchemy on stage each night.
“Not surprisingly, he welcomed the challenge.”
The ‘Numb’ hitmakers – made up of Rob Bourdon, Brad Delson, Mike Shinoda, Dave Farrell and Joe Hahn – praised their lead singer for turning “pain into catharsis” with his emotional lyrics and thanked him for his “dedication” to the band.
The group added: “Chester was uniquely passionate, uncommonly generous, sensitive, optimistic, funny and kind. With his voice, he turned pain into catharsis, authenticity into art and passion into connection. His dedication to bringing these songs to life was triumphant.
“For those of you who attended this tour in person, we thank you. For those who could not, we hope this live album gives you a glimpse into how magical these shows were for the six of us.”
Last month, Linkin Park paid tribute to Chester at a star-studded tribute concert for him in Los Angeles.
Mike, who hosted the event, told the crowd: “Doing this show is one of the hardest things I think that we’ve ever decided to do. And I think you’re part of the only reason that we are able to even stand up here and do this.”
He also sang an unfinished track, ‘Looking for an Answer’, which he wrote soon after Chester’s death.
Gavin Rossdale, Alanis Morrisette, Zedd and Blink-182 also performed at the concert.

Nicki Minaj: God helps me to laugh off my critics

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj is able to laugh off her critics thanks to her “strong relationship with God”.
The chart-topping rap star has revealed she doesn’t take her detractors too seriously, because she’s ultimately able to turn to God for support.
Nicki explained: “You can usually bet your bottom dollar that anytime you see something on the Internet going on with me, no matter how it looks, I’m usually behind the scenes laughing.
“Because I have a strong relationship with God. I’ve watched Him work miracle after miracle in my life.
“I’ve watched Him shut down every person who’s ever come up against me, and so it’s comical at this point ’cause I sometimes feel like, ‘Wow. Don’t they know how this movie’s gonna play out? Cause I definitely know how this movie’s gonna play out.'”
Meanwhile, Nicki also revealed the despite previously collaborating with Beyonce, there is no hope that the two superstars will ever release a joint album.
The ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker said that fan demand for the album amounts to little more than “wishful thinking” on their part.
Speaking to Paper magazine, Nicki shared: “The only person that I’ve seen a lot of people speak on, when talking about an album of that calibre, is Beyoncé ’cause we did “***Flawless” [remix] and ‘Feeling Myself’ and we’ve actually performed together.
“I always see a lot of people saying, ‘Oh my gosh, a joint album with you guys would be really dope,’ but, you know, those are the kinds of things that are just wishful thinking from fans.”

Noel Gallagher ‘feels good’ about his new album

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher “feels good” about his upcoming album ‘Who Built The Moon?’.
The 50-year-old rocker is gearing up to drop his third studio album with his High Flying Birds on November 24, and whilst he can’t wait for the record to hit the shelves, he’s more excited to start his tour next year so he can test out his new tracks in his setlist.
Speaking to Noisey during a Facebook Live on Wednesday (15.11.17), he said: “I feel good about it. I feel good about every record that I put out at the point that it comes out, but we’ll see what it feels like next year when we’re mid-way through the tour. You only really get to know the songs when you play them in front of an audience, because then you’ll see which ones are the most popular. So I’m excited for that to happen, although it’s not happening until next year. But yeah I feel good about it.”
The former Oasis guitarist admits that his latest record – which he previously described as “psychedelic” – is “vastly different” to anything he’s released before.
He said: “Right now, as it’s vastly different to anything that’s gone before, I suppose it’s unique. But you know, in 10 years time it’ll just be a couple of albums ago. So, that’s the way I look at it. But it’s definitely … at the moment it definitely stands alone with all the records I’ve ever made, as being, not a complete departure, but people will notice a significant difference.”
After the release of the album’s lead single ‘Holy Mountain’ last month, Noel has noticed “mixed” reviews from fans, but thinks the people who “hate” his new direction haven’t actually listened to the material.
He said: “It’s always mixed. I don’t think I’ve ever put a record out where everyone has gone ‘Oh that’s amazing’. But just, the percentages shift. I’ll be honest and say that from what I can gather already, it’s heavily mixed. People either love it or hate it. And the funny thing is, the people who hate it, haven’t heard it yet, they’ve just heard about it.
“They’ve heard about the French girl, and songs with very little singing in them, and electronic sounds, and dance beats, and all that kind of things. So some people are not having it at all. But I think when it comes out, people are going to turn their views around.”

Ed Sheeran speaks fluent Ghanaian on new song

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran speaks fluent Ghanaian on a new track.
The ‘Shape Of You’ hitmaker has recorded a song in Ghanaian dialect Twi on Fuse ODG’s new single ‘Boa Me’ and the 28-year-old singer has revealed how Ed managed to fool locals in Ghana into thinking it was a real authentic High Life track.
Fuse said: “This one Ed didn’t speak a word of English in the song, just Twi and would only do it if he got it right. I showed all sorts of different types of music out there, he wanted to make a real authentic High Life track – that’s the old-school Afrobeats music my parents would play.
“Ed is becoming a High Life legend because when I played it to people in Ghana they didn’t even realise it was Ed, that’s how much he sounded like the real thing. We did a test where people came to the house and the reaction was, ‘This is crazy.'”
And the ‘Dangerous Love’ hitmaker – who worked alongside Ed on his track ‘Bibia Be Ye Ye’, which forms part of his ‘÷’ album – has revealed how the new track is about helping communities in Africa.
He added to the Daily Star newspaper: “The word literally means ‘help me’ and the concept of the track is help your neighbour. We took him to a school we were building and straight away he understood the impact we can make, and donated a school bus. The funds go towards setting up the secondary school and fixing the bridge that connects the village to the school so kids can go safely.”
And Ed previously revealed writing the track was “the best experience”.
Speaking about the song, Ed had previously said: “The best experience was I wrote a song in Twi, which is the Ghanaian dialect, and I wrote that in Ghana at Fuse ODG’s house with all of his mates.
“That was the most fun experience. Being in the studio with someone like Fuse it’s just a party the whole time. They drink this thing called Shocker, and I won’t tell you what is in it, but there is a lot of stuff in it.
“They drink that while they are in the studio and just go nuts the whole time. They just play this song on repeat full volume. That was probably the most fun I’ve had making a song.”

Radiohead ‘ambivalent’ about Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination

OHMYGOSSIP — Radiohead are “ambivalent” about their nomination to enter the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The indie band are one of a host of British acts to make the shortlist to potentially be recognised for their contribution to music and have their history immortalised at the Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, next year. Other UK artists listed include Depeche Mode, Kate Bush, Dire Straits, Eurythmics and Judas Priest as well as Nina Simone, Rage Against the Machine, The Moody Blues and Bon Jovi among others.
But Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien admits he and his bandmates – frontman Thom Yorke, lead guitarist Jonny Greenwood, bassist Colin Greenwood and drummer Philip Selway – are not really bothered by the nod because to them it’s just another awards ceremony.
Speaking to Esquire magazine, he said: “It’s in our DNA to be a little ambivalent with award ceremonies.
“As a British band, it’s one of those things that it’s very lovely to be nominated, but we don’t quite culturally understand it. It’s a very American thing. Us Brits are very bad at celebrating ourselves.”
Clarifying that he means no disrespect to the organisers or other artists nominated, he added: “One of the things I’ve always loved about coming over to America is American bands you can always have a really good chat with and you could talk. With British bands, there was a lot of hostility. It’s in our DNA to be a little ambivalent with award ceremonies. We haven’t had great experiences. I would never want to disrespect anything because obviously some amazing artists have been nominated. But if I’m honest I don’t understand it. It’s just kind of a British person going, ‘OK, thanks, what does this mean?'”
O’Brien, 49, also thinks the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame needs to induct more “black artists” and he believes that the hip hop genre needs far more representation.
And the ‘Paranoid Android’ rocker thinks Dr. Dre should be top of the list of artists to go in.
He said: “It’s a little bit thin on black artists and hip-hop artists. I’m just speaking as a fan of American music, I would have thought that Dr. Dre should have been in there two years ago. His name should be first on the list way ahead of Radiohead.”
The final shortlist of five inductees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will be announced in December ahead of next April’s ceremony.

Noel Gallagher uninterested in chart battle with Liam

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher isn’t going to compare the success of his new album ‘Who Built The Moon?’ to his younger brother Liam Gallagher’s debut solo LP.
The 50-year-old songwriter releases his third record under the High Flying Birds moniker on November 24, following several months in the studio with producer David Holmes.
His sibling and former Oasis bandmate Liam, 45, released his first solo offering ‘As You Were’ back in October and the record went straight to number one in the UK and was certified gold with over 100,000 sales and has been a hit all over the globe.
Noel’s previous two post-Oasis albums – 2011’s ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ and 2015’s ‘Chasing Yesterday’ – both went to number one in the UK album chart but he isn’t worried if his newest collection of tracks don’t match Liam’s figures.
Speaking at a press conference in Italy, the ‘Holy Mountain’ rocker said: “Look, mine is out next week and Liam’s was out a few weeks ago, so what? Who cares?”
Although Noel has been talking up ‘Who Built The Moon?’ as a psychedelic record made up of “cosmic pop” tracks he believes it is actually his most “rock ‘n’ roll” album because it has been made with a complete freedom of spirit.
The ‘She Taught Me How To Fly’ songwriter said: “I would describe it as cosmic pop, but it’s also my most rock ‘n’ roll record. I travel the world and people have this idea about rock ‘n’ roll is about black leather biker jackets, drinking Jack Daniels, shouting and cigarettes. But, to me, rock ‘n’ roll is about freedom. It’s about freedom of spirit, freedom of expression and just being able to do what you want, whenever you want to do it and that’s the spirit I entered into this record with. After ‘Chasing Yesterday’ I had a very clear idea of who I was and what I am but I couldn’t take that any further. Luckily, I met David Holmes at the right time and we found something new together.”

Paloma Faith was working on new album before she fell pregnant

OHMYGOSSIP — Paloma Faith started working on her new album ‘The Architect’ before she was pregnant.
The 36-year-old singer gave birth to her first child with her French lover Leyman Lahcine in December last year, and though the star will be dropping her new LP on Friday (17.11.17), she has admitted she was penning tracks well in advance, though welcoming a baby into the world “accelerated” her desire to finish the compilation.
Speaking to Stylist magazine, the ‘Only Love Can Hurt Like This’ hitmaker said: “I took nearly five months [maternity leave]. I went back tot he studio a couple of days a week – I’d started the album before I was pregnant but having a baby sort of accelerated my ambition to finish it.
“I wanted to come back from maternity leave with an album ready to go.”
However, Paloma has hinted it was a struggle to juggle motherhood with her career.
She explained: “I was still breastfeeding so the baby would come or sometimes I’d pump and courier milk back to the house. I don’t think I was really recovered until seven months, though.
“And there was very little sleep.”
The former ‘The Voice UK’ judge has admitted her time out of the business felt “weird” because she has “never” had a break from creating music.
She said: “It’s been weird because I’ve never had a break before. Taking time out is a luxury I haven’t really afforded myself, partly because I fear it. I’ve had two-week holidays since I put out the first album in [2009] but never anything more because I hate the idea of not being busy or having a purpose. Then maternity leave happened and well, that’s been funny because it’s not a break, is it. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It’s a real luxury to take that time with your child, but it did not feel luxurious.”

Kelly Clarkson only gets nervous singing in the cold

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Clarkson only gets nervous singing outside.
The 35-year-old singer shot to fame after winning the inaugural season of ‘American Idol’ when she was just 19 and has since sold more than 25 million albums and 36 million singles worldwide and played all over the globe.
Kelly now feels very confident in her performing abilities but admits she does get butterflies when she has to sing outdoors in the cold.
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’ on Wednesday (15.11.17), Kelly shared: “Everything inside, I never get nervous. The only time when I get nervous as a vocalist is when I am outside in the cold weather. Everything does this in the cold.”
The ‘Since You’ve Been Gone’ hitmaker sang at President Barack Obama’s second inauguration back in 2013 and admitted it was “nerve-wracking” but a “proud moment”.
She said: “That was a little nerve-wracking but once you got into the song, the adrenaline runs. I will say when looking at the sea of people it was such an historical moment for America. It’s one of those moments you feel really small but part of a big moment. It was a proud moment.”
Now, 15 years after winning ‘American Idol’, the singer has released a brand new album ‘Meaning of Life’ and has described it as an “ode to all the music” she loved growing up.
She said: “Basically, it is like an ode to all the music that I loved. I grew up loving soulful pop, soulful rock, soulful sound, that soulful sound.
“Contractually I was obligated after ‘Idol’ and fulfilled my kind of my purpose with the label. I love pop rock, I love what I’ve done. But I’m excited this is like the musical footprint I wanted to do.”

One Direction won’t reunite just yet

OHMYGOSSIP — A One Direction reunion isn’t in the pipeline just yet.
The group – which includes Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson – have always insisted they will get back together one day but it won’t be in the near future.
A statement in their company reports reads: “Going forward, no new income streams are anticipated. Current and projected income is from existing residual agreements.”
The bandmates raked in an impressive £15,000 a day last year due to sales of their previous records, merchandise and sales from their previous tours, The Sun newspaper reports.
It comes only days after Liam insisted the ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ hitmakers would be “coming back around at some point”.
Asked if it has always been an aim of his to be a solo artist after he first entered ‘The X Factor’ solo, he said: “It’s always been a dream. I wouldn’t say it’s always been an aim. Once One Direction started, it was just the passion. It was fantastic and it still is. It’s coming back around at some point, I’m sure.”
And Liam insists they “have to” reunite at some point as they never got a chance to tour with their 2015 album ‘Made In The AM’.
He added: “Yes, I think we will reunite at some point in the future. We have to – I mean we’ve got an album we haven’t even toured yet, and I want to write some more songs as well with the boys.”
However, Niall thinks it would be “weird” if One Direction were to reunite right now as they’ve only just embarked on their solo careers.
He said: “I suppose right now, it would be a bit weird. Can’t rule anything out really, can you?”

Kendrick Lamar: Hip-hop needs to evolve

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendrick Lamar wants to see hip-hop music “evolve”.
The Compton-born star is among the biggest-selling acts in modern rap music, but Kendrick believes the genre needs to keep pushing boundaries while also retaining a healthy respects for its pioneers.
Kendrick explained: “I want hip-hop to continue to evolve. That’s why I can’t shun a lot of the artists that may not be a Kendrick Lamar.
“But this is what I tell them every time I see them … be yourself and do what you do but also know who laid down the groundwork.”
Kendrick claimed that being respectful of older, more established rap acts is key to the genre’s evolution.
He told Forbes magazine: “Don’t go on your interviews and diss them and say you don’t like them and you don’t care for them.
“That’s your opinion, that’s cool but you have to respect them. So talking down on the folks that inspired us to do this, it’d never be right. You dig what I’m saying?
“So at the end of the day as long as you be who you are but respect what got us here, that’s how you continue to evolve.”
Kendrick cited the likes of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre as being big influences on his own career.
The 30-year-old star said he felt like he could relate to other artists who also hailed from Los Angeles.
Asked who’s inspired his own success, Kendrick explained: “From the early days growing up, of course, a lot of west coast music. Snoop, Dr. Dre, N.W.A, Ice Cube, you know, when he was doing that solo thing, for sure. Tupac, of course. Kurupt.
“I think what all these dudes had in common for me, other than the fact that they had the lifestyle of being in LA and they looked like the people that I knew, it was talking about real things.
“Maybe I didn’t understand them as a kid, but the people around me understood them and I recognised the connection they had with that, and I looked and I said, ‘I want to have that same connection one day.'”

Shakira postpones European tour due to vocal cord haemorrhage

OHMYGOSSIP — Shakira has postponed the European leg of her ‘El Dorado World Tour’ after suffering a haemorrhage in her vocal cord.
The 40-year-old singer was due start her tour in Germany last Wednesday (08.11.17), but was forced to pull out of the opening show to avoid further damaging her voice.
She was hoping to make a full recovery ahead of her next scheduled concert in Paris on November 10, however, on Monday (13.11.17) she issued a statement revealing the extent of the damage to her right vocal cord, whilst apologising to her fans, children and team not being able to perform for them.
The ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ hitmaker has now decided to reschedule the run until 2018 on doctor’s advice.
In a lengthy note to her followers posted on Instagram, she wrote: “To my friend and fans, for the last five months I’ve been wholly dedicated to preparing my El Dorado World Tour.
“However, these past few days, just before my first concerts, have been the hardest of my career. At the end of July I went for a routine checkup, before starting to design this tour and my doctor confirmed that my vocal cords were in perfect condition.
“Towards the end of October though, in the home stretch of my rehearsals, I felt a strange hoarseness that impeded my singing.
“The doctors, upon examination, detected that I had suffered a hemorrhage on my right vocal cord. I then went on vocal rest as recommended by the specialists in an attempt to recover in time for my first show in Cologne.
“Unfortunately the hemorrhage doesn’t appear to have reabsorbed and my nightmare continues. At the moment I find myself in a difficult battle as I try to fully recover.
“It pains me not to be able to sing this month, for those have done even the impossible to get tickets and accompany me throughout the different countries of Europe.
“For my team of 60 plus people who have worked day and night until the last day to help me put together the best show of my artistic career, and who, like myself, are anxious to begin this tour.
“For my kids who were excited to see their mom in concert as soon as possible. And above all, of my fans, who have always been by my side through the good and the bad, and who deserve the best of me.
“In all the years I’ve been singing, I’ve never been faced with situation like this. As such, and with a heavy heart, I must announce that I find myself obliged to postpone my European tour until 2018, to allow my body several necessary weeks, dedicated to my complete recovery.
“Thanks to my fans throughout the world for their understanding and loyalty, for all the encouraging messages and affection they’ve transmitted to me, and for their prayers.
“I hope to overcome this difficult trial and to return to the stage as soon as possible, to once again hear your voices singing along with mine.
“I love all of you very much and I will always remember those who have been by my side during this time, offering their friendship and affection. Shakira (sic)”

Francis Rossi won’t cry for Rick Parfitt

OHMYGOSSIP — Francis Rossi won’t “cry” for his late Status Quo bandmate Rick Parfitt because that’s not what he would expect.
The 68-year-old singer died last December from sepsis a day after being admitted to a Marbella hospital to be treated for an infection affecting a pre-existing shoulder injury.
Rossi had been friends with Parfitt since the age of 16, and says the reason he’s not wept for the ‘Whatever You Want’ hitmaker is because it’s just not how they acted as friends.
Speaking in his first television interview since he passed away on UK TV show ‘Good Morning Britain’ on Tuesday (14.11.17), Rossi said: “When I got the call on Christmas Eve, I heard Rick saying, ‘There you go, I didn’t die on show day!’, and that’s just what we were like.
“People said I haven’t cried for him, and I haven’t, and I won’t, but we weren’t like that. We’d joke about it. That’s just how it is.”
Rossi recalled how Parfitt once said he didn’t think he’d be able to play his guitar because of the pain in his shoulder, and how he joked with him that he was playing better than he was without the injury.
He smiled: “I remember him saying to me once, ‘I don’t think I can play,’ because of the pain in his shoulder. I asked, ‘Can you play a G?’
“And he said, ‘I think so, yeah,’ and I said, ‘Good, because you couldn’t before.’ And again, that’s just how we were.”
Last month, Rossi revealed he heard Parfitt speak to him after his death last Christmas Eve (24.12.16).
He claimed that his friend spoke to him on that fateful day making a joke from beyond the grave that he didn’t die on the same day as a concert.
He said: “I know it sounds ridiculous but I heard him on Christmas Eve. I heard him say to me, ‘See Frame [Francis’ nickname], at least I didn’t die on a show day.’
“He would have known if he died on a show day or a few days before, we would have cancelled the show out of respect.”
Parfitt had stepped away from the rock band in 2016 after suffering a heart attack on stage in June, six months before his passing.
Rossi did think about calling time on the band once his pal had left and especially once he had died, but remembering a conversation he had with Parfitt inspired him to carry on with new guitarist Richie Malone and drummer Leon Cave.

Kanye West streaming hike on Taylor Swift’s album release day

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West fans reportedly streamed ‘Hey Mama’ 700,000 times on Taylor Swift’s ‘Reputation’ release date.
The 27-year-old pop star dropped her new record on November 10, which fans of the 40-year-old rapper pointed out was the 10-year anniversary of the ‘All Day’ hitmaker’s mom Donda West’s death.
Though sources close to Taylor insisted there was “no correlation”, the rap star’s following had made various social media accounts leading to his 2005 song – from the LP ‘Late Registration’ – about his mother’s passing subsequently seeing a substantial hike in streams on Spotify on the very same day.
According to website The Ringer, the track went from 23.6 million to 25.3 million steams within 24 hours.
A spokesperson for Taylor previously commented on the coincidental release date, saying: “It is standard practice that releases come out on Fridays and we locked in this release date based on other Universal Music Group releases. There is no correlation.”
The pair have been embroiled in a long-running feud ever since the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, when he interrupted her acceptance speech for Best Female Video.
Kanye argued Beyonce was more deserving of the prize and although they buried their differences, he reignited the rivalry when he made reference to Taylor in his song ‘Famous’.
On the track, Kanye says: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why, I made that b***h famous.”
Meanwhile, the lead single on ‘Reputation, ‘Look What You Made Me Do’, features a number of apparent digs at the likes of Kanye and his wife Kim Kardashian West, among others.
Taylor slams someone for their “tilted stage”, something Kanye had during his ‘Saint Pablo’ tour in 2016, when she sings: “I don’t like your little games/ Don’t like your tilted stage/ The role you made me play/ Of the fool/ No, I don’t like you.”
A spokesperson for Spotify is yet to comment.

Eagles of Death Metal’s surprise Paris show

OHMYGOSSIP — Eagles of Death Metal played a surprise show in Paris on Monday (13.11.17) to mark the two-year anniversary since the terror attack at their Bataclan concert.
The US rock band’s lead singer Jesse Hughes and guitarist Dave Catching paid tribute to the victims of the atrocity, which saw 89 people lose their lives after ISIS terrorists wearing suicide vests opened fire at their show on November 13, 2015.
The special event was setup by some of the survivors and held at the French capital’s town hall in the 11th district.
The group dedicated ‘I Love You All the Time’ and ‘Save a Prayer’, which was the last track they performed before gunshots echoed around the venue two years ago, to those who tragically died.
Before giving everyone in the crowd white roses as a sign of respect, Jesse said: “I’m so happy and pleased to see all of you.
“The only reason we’re still standing is because you all still love rock and roll.”
After the memorial gig, Jesse paid a special tribute to their merchandise seller Nick Alexander who was one of those killed.
Speaking to press, he said: “It is difficult to not to remember the people who were taken from us like our friend Nick Alexander and so many others.
“We watched people give their lives for their friends and we were able to bear witness to that, and now we have a burden of responsibility to make certain that everyone knows that kind of love exists in this world.”
Thirty Seconds to Mars’ – including frontman Jared Leto – also paid their respects yesterday.
Sharing a photo outside the venue on Instagram, the ‘Suicide Squad’ actor wrote: “Paid a visit to the Bataclan on the anniversary of the horrific tragedy.
“Sending out hearts and thoughts to the victims and their families. (sic)”.
Last year, Sting reopened the Bataclan venue with a charity show on November 12, just one day before the first anniversary of the attack.
All proceeds raised from the event were donated to Life for Paris and 13onze15: Fraternité Verité, two charities that provide support for victims and their families.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessie J, The Vamps and Kaiser Chiefs are to headline pet charity PDSA’s brand new festival.

Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, owner of a Labradoodle called Norman Reedus, commented: “Two things the UK loves are pets and music, so why has no one thought of this before? We’re all looking forward to PDSA PetLife’18 and raising funds and awareness for PDSA to continue its great work.”
And cat lover and owner James McVey from The Vamps added: “My cat Mickey means the world to me.
“I know I can provide the vet care he needs, but not everyone is so fortunate and that’s why PDSA is so important.

Cardi B: I’m a hustler

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B considers herself to be a hustler rather than a feminist.
The 25-year-old hip-hop star has rubbished the modern-day understanding of feminism, saying the word has been misused over recent years, and so she would instead prefer to be identified as a hustler.
Cardi – whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar – told New York Magazine: “You know what? I’m not even gonna consider myself nothing.
“Here’s the thing that b***hes got me f***ed up when it comes to that word. People think that being a feminist is a b***h that, like, went to school. They wear skirts all the way to their motherf***ing ankles like a goddamn First Lady.
“That’s not being a feminist. Being a feminist is being equal to do what a man do. N****s hustle, and I hustle n****s.”
This comes shortly after Cardi vowed to set a “better example” to her fans.
The rapper recently took to social media to announce she plans to change her ways and do all she can to be a role model to the people “looking up to [her]”.
The ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker posted a video on her Instagram account, in which she said: “I realised, after Halloween, a lot of little girls, they be looking up to me. They love me and I’m thinking to myself, like, ‘Yo, I really need to be a better example.'”
Cardi said she’s always tried to lead by example, but she insisted she will do her best to be “more PG-13, less rated R”.
Cardi continued: “But I be trying to be a better example, though, you know what I’m saying? I’ve been trying to be more PG-13, less rated R.”
