OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher says his brother Liam getting NME’s Godlike Genius gong is like giving a prize to a substitute goalkeeper.
The former Oasis guitarist appears livid that his younger sibling and the group’s ex-frontman is to receive the title – which he was bestowed with in 2012 – and has slammed the 45-year-old rocker for “doing f**k all” whilst in the Britpop group, which split up in 2009 after a backstage bust-up between the pair at a concert in Paris.
Asked about his brother’s new title, Noel fumed to the Daily Star newspaper: “You know when a team wins the Premier League and they give the third choice goalkeeper a medal just for being there?
“It’s like , you didn’t do f**k all, right? But you just happened to be there in training, so have this medal. That’s what it’s like.”
When Noel, 50, was honoured with the accolade, he said it was his “dream” title and that he is now on par with God.
At the time, he said: “I would like to thank NME for bestowing upon me such a great accolade. I have dreamt of this moment since I was 43 years old. I accept that I am now a genius, just like God.”
‘Bold’ singer Liam – who has barely spoken to his brother and bitter rival since the band ended, but regularly takes to Twitter to mock him- said it was a longtime coming.
He said: “I wanna thank the NME for their Godlike Genius award. It’s about f**king time as far as I’m concerned.”
And NME bosses admitted it was a “no brainer” to pass the award on to Liam next year.
The ‘Songbird’ songwriter follows in the footsteps of the likes of Manic Street Preachers, Coldplay, Paul Weller, Dave Grohl and last year’s winners Pet Shop Boys in picking up the prestigious prize at the annual ceremony at the O2 Academy in Brixton, south London, on February 14.

OHMYGOSSIP — Rak-Su are set to collaborate with Wyclef Jean again.
The popular four piece – made up of childhood friends Mustafa Rahimtulla, Ashley Fongho, Jamaal Shurland and Myles Stephenson – have clearly found a winning formula with the Haitian rapper after their ‘X Factor’ single ‘Dimelo’, featuring the Fugees star and producer Naughty Boy, shot straight to number one in the iTunes chart within 24 hours of them be crowned winners of the ITV talent show earlier this month.
The foursome have now revealed they are helping their pal revive his career, with another hit song in the works.
Ashley told the Daily Star newspaper: “Wyclef is someone you grew up watching on The Box and MTV Base, it’s just crazy, when you listen to any sort R&B hip-hop you know it’s part of the Fugees.”
Jamaal added: ‘Wyclef said he really feels our energy, he really feels our vibe.
“He said, ‘Uncle Wyclef is always here to work on future projects’, he just seems to get it, get us.
“I’m so excited he is back, and he seems excited about us, so it just works.”
Meanwhile, the group recently hinted they could be collaborating with fellow ‘X Factor’ stars Little Mix.
They received advice from the girl group who won the competition in 2011, and would love the chance to team up with them on a track.
Speaking about the tips they got from Leigh-Anne Pinnock from the ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ group, they said: “The Girls from Little Mix have actually been really helpful. There’s not been a great deal of interaction. I think you bumped into Leigh-Anne [Pinnock] once, didn’t you?! yeah, I bumped into her and she was just saying just kinda trust the process. There can be a lot going on but just keep your head down and keep working hard. ”
The lads have set their sights high on collaborators for the future, with the likes of Jay-Z, Frank Ocean and Camila Cabello on their wish-list.
When asked who they’d like to duet with, the foursome told music show ‘BeBox’: “There are so many artists we’d like to work with, in the future.
“All the people we kinda grew up listening to and that our tastes have been moulded by like Usher, Babyface, Jay-Z, Skepta, Frank Ocean, Camilla Cabello. I mean she’s good init, Little Mix there’s actually so many.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Eminem’s mind was once so foggy from drugs that people thought he had brain damage.
The 45-year-old rapper – whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III – has opened up about the quality of each of his albums, including ‘Relapse’ which was written at the end of his rehabilitation for addiction to prescription sleeping medication, and was recorded between the period of 2007 and 2009.
The ‘Walk On Water’ hitmaker said he was so “scatterbrained”, he felt like he would have to learn how to rap again.
In a candid interview with Vulture magazine, he admitted: “‘Encore’ was mediocre.
“And with ‘Relapse’ — it was the best I could do at that point in time. [‘Relapse’] was a funny album for me because I was just starting back rapping after coming out of addiction.
“I was so scatterbrained that the people around me thought that I might have given myself brain damage.
“I was in this weird fog for months. Like, literally I wasn’t making sense; it had been so long since I’d done vocals without a ton of Valium and Vicodin. I almost had to relearn how to rap.”
The ‘Lose Yourself’ hitmaker is back with new LP ‘Revival’, and says whether people like his new music or not, he feels he’s the “best at rhyming” he’s ever been.
However, he admits that he felt there was a lot of pressure to beat the success of 2000’s ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’, which featured the star’s biggest hits such as ‘Stan’ featuring Dido, ‘Real Slim Shady’ and ‘Kim’.
Asked if he still has a competitive streak in him, Marshall said: “I am forever chasing ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’.
“That was the height of what I could do. I just don’t have the rage I did back then.
“If I did, the music would be the same, and I hope it’s changed.
“And if I still had that rage it would mean I wouldn’t have grown as an artist or a human being. Technically I feel like I’m better at rhyming than I’ve ever been.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruce Dickinson’s vocals are “a little bit better” since he battled cancer.
The Iron Maiden frontman underwent a seven-week course of chemotherapy and radiology after a cancerous tumour was discovered at the back of his tongue, and now the “top end” of his voice is “a little bit better” than before his treatment.
He said: “Two things are slightly different. One is my saliva, which obviously lubricates your throat a little bit, is a bit less than it used to be. Although, back ten years ago, if I had the same cancer, I wouldn’t be making any saliva.
“But now, I’m probably 70 percent, which is great. Thanks very much, everybody upstairs. And the other things is that I think that the shape of possibly the back of my tongue, which forms vowel sounds and things like that, might have changed shape slightly, because, obviously, it had a big lump in it, and the lump’s gone.
“So maybe the surface has changed shape. So I notice a few differences. Funnily enough, the top end of my voice is maybe even a little bit better than it was before.”
The 59-year-old singer couldn’t believe it when he was told the tumour had disappeared.
Speaking on Swedish TV show ‘Malou Efter Tio’, he said: “I was amazed. My cancer was a 3.5cm tumour in my throat and a 2.5cm one in my lymph node, and that was the one that I could feel – that was the secondary one.
“But I did 33 sessions of radiation and nine weeks of chemo at the same time, which is fairly standard therapy for it. And it was gone.
“And I said to my oncologist, ‘What do you mean it’s gone? Where has it gone?’ And he said, ‘Well, your body just gets rid of it.’ A body is an amazing thing.”
Bruce’s Iron Maiden bandmate Steve Harris previously admitted the ‘Number of the Beast’ hitmaker was singing “better than ever” following his cancer treatment.
Speaking in 2016, he said: “It’s a fantastic feeling just to be out there again, because last year we didn’t know whether we even had a band, let alone a tour. Obviously, he’s fine, he’s singing fantastic – in fact, I think he’s probably singing better than ever.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Rowland has silenced rumours Destiny’s Child are set for a reunion.
The 36-year-old singer has claimed she has “no idea” about any plans for the ‘Say My Name’ girl group – which was more commonly known for featuring Beyonce, Michelle Williams and Kelly – to join forces again at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2018, which is set to be headlined by the ‘Lemonade’ hitmaker.
Speaking to PEOPLE, she said: “I have no idea about any of that.”
And the ‘Motivation’ artist has revealed she even took it upon herself to speak with fans about the rumour.
She continued: “I just asked a fan about that. They were like because it’s just cool.”
Kelly has revealed during her conversation the American hitmakers were described as “legends”, which is a title the star “gladly accepts”, although she insists that does not mean the trio, nor any previous members of the band, will reform.
She added: “They used the L word and said legends. I mean, I gladly accept that very much but it’s nothing that we recently talked about.”
This news comes after Beyonce, 36, recently shared a photograph of her wearing an AC/DC t-shirt on social media, but covered the AC section with her hair to only show DC, which is the abbreviation of the band’s name.
Beyonce’s post coincided with an upload Kelly posted in which she teased what her Super Bowl outfit will be, and simply posted a bee emoji alongside the upload, which is a nod to the ‘Halo’ singer’s nickname.
Alongside the two clues came a post from former member LaTavia Jackson, who shared an old photo of the original Destiny’s Child members, while LeToya Tucket teased she was working on a secret project.
Although Kelly has shut down those rumours, she has revealed she will be releasing more solo music in the New Year.
She said: “2018 new music. What I’m excited about [fans] most to hear is probably stories I’ve never told on this album. I haven’t released a record in five years.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Janet Jackson was joined on stage by Missy Elliott for the final night of her world tour on Sunday night (17.12.17).
The 51-year-old pop star teamed up with the iconic rapper for a rendition of their hit tack ‘BURNITUP!’, from her LP ‘Unbreakable’, as she brought her run to an end in Atlanta, Georgia over the weekend.
The ‘Sock It To Me’ star was delighted to join Janet for the special performance for fans.
Taking to Twitter, the 46-year-old musician tweeted: “We been friends for two decades & I’m still AMAZED EVERYTIME you PERFORM!
“You are ICONIC/LEGENDARY & even with all your accolades you have every right to feel yaself but u are so HUMBLE! I couldn’t ask for a better friend/sis. (sic)”
Meanwhile, Busta Rhymes recently heaped praise on Janet, saying her voice is a “God-sent talent”.
The hip-hop star has been friends with the singer – the younger sibling of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson – for decades, but he only got the chance to see his close pal live for the first time when he attended her show last month.
And Busta – who worked with Janet on the 1998 hit, ‘What’s It Gonna Be?!’ – was blown away by the singer’s show, and said he had now developed a “fan obsession” with the star.
Speaking after the concert, he said: “I am losing my Janet Jackson live concert virginity tonight. There’s a new fan obsession that has transpired for me.
“Me being an artist myself, I’m super-inspired in a whole new way. She is probably the most incredible, timeless, God-sent talent that I’ve ever seen in my life – I salute you queen!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Big Shaq has thanked everyone who made his first ever headline show so special after he was joined by Stormzy, Lethal Bizzle and JME for a special night.
The ‘Man’s Not Hot’ hitmaker – comedian Michael Dapaah – has taken to social media to show how grateful he is for the fanbase that made his ‘Christmas Link Up’ headline show at Brixton Electric in London.
He tweeted: “Thank you to all 1700 of you that made my first ever headline show an absolute movie. Thanks to my team, all the artists & every1 involved that made this a celebration! We did this together. [sic]”
The grime star was joined by fellow stars Stormzy, Lethal Bizzle and JME for the exciting show on Friday night (15.12.17), as they appeared on stage for a rendition of ‘Man’s Not Hot’.
During the performance, he also gave a run out to his other comic creations MC Quakez and Dr Ofori.
It comes after Shaq asked Noel Gallagher to perform ‘Wonderwall’ with him, as the former Oasis star recently revealed he’s a huge fan of the rapper.
In a video shared on Radio X’s website, Big Shaq said: “Man like Noel. Get my number just DM me on Twitter. I’ll send you the number then obviously we can chop it up, you understand ’cause like mans international now. Check the statistics.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran is set to perform at a special charity gig in London next summer hosted by Dermot O’Leary.
The 26-year-old singer/songwriter, whose grandparents are Irish, will play his biggest hits for 400 lucky fans at the London Irish Centre in Camden, London on June 19, 2018, to help raise money to help transform the lives of vulnerable Irish communities living in the British capital.
Speaking ahead of the concert, which fans can enter a competition to win tickets to for a donation of just £10, the ‘Galway Girl’ hitmaker said: “My Irish heritage is something of which I’ve always been aware and very proud, so this gig feels like a natural fit.
“I love what the London Irish Centre do in terms of being at the heart of Irish culture and community in London, and their plans are really exciting.
“I’m hoping that people like Dermot O’Leary, myself, and others can help them to grow. We’re all very excited about the summer 2018 show – this is going to be something very special.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Grimes has teased new music is coming “soon”.
The 29-year-old pop star – real name Claire Boucher – has kept her fans waiting two years for the much-anticipated follow-up to 2015’s ‘Art Angels’, but she has now revealed she has played new material to her record label, and they “really dig it”.
Replying to a follower on Twitter over the weekend, she wrote: “just played label new music they rly dig it so hopefully smthn soon (sic)”
In August, the ‘Venus Fly’ singer said reassured fans that she was spending “every day” working on her fifth studio album.
The singer/songwriter said at the time that she just needed a bit more time for “pure unadulterated creativity”.
She wrote on Instagram: “I kno i’ve been quiet lately – in the studio every day trying to legit make something you’ve never heard before. unexplored sonic landscapes. i need another month or 2 of pure unadulterated creativity at which point i will begin finishing tracks. won’t let u down (sic)”
Grimes gave the album update in a social media post announcing she’d been included in Harper’s Bazaar’s Icons list.
She posted a short video revealing the news and added the caption: “moving up in the world guys! tomorrow Grimes will be included in the #bazaaricons list! (sic)”
Meanwhile, the ‘Oblivion’ hitmaker previously insisted being a famous artist is mostly down to luck, and even if she wasn’t well-known she would still be making music.
She said: “For anyone who is successful in art, it’s 90 per cent luck and chance.
“If you’re talented and you’re not getting anywhere, you shouldn’t feel bad. It’s not just hard work and talent.
“I’d still be able to make records because I own all the equipment and I have all the skills.”

The 46-year-old singer’s 1994 single – which she wrote and produced with Walter Afanasieff – has been streamed globally over 217 million times, and is followed close behind by Wham!’s ‘Last Christmas’ in second place, with Michael Buble’s ‘It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas’ third.
Festive hit-releasing machine Buble features five times, with his covers of ‘White Christmas’ (Featuring Shania Twain), ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’, ‘Holly Jolly Christmas’ and ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’ also dominating the list.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Smith and Kasabian will perform at the inaugural 2018 Global Awards.
Launched this week by radio brand Global, the new ceremony will combine its diverse roster of stations – Capital, Capital XTRA, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth, Radio X, Gold and LBC – to create a platform to recognise the best in music, entertainment and news.
The ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ hitmaker and the indie rock band – fronted by Tom Meighan – have already been confirmed for the event, which will take place on March 1, 2018 at London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo.
The likes of Rita Ora, Andrea Bocelli and Martin Garrix are also on the star-studded bill.

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher performed with his former Oasis bandmate Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs at his hometown show at the Manchester Arena on Saturday night (16.12.17).
The Britpop group’s former frontman wrapped up his UK headline solo tour, in support of his debut LP ‘As You Were’, by bringing out the 52-year-old guitarist at Manchester Arena for the encore of ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’, ‘Wonderwall’ and an acoustic rendition of ‘Live Forever’.
Bonehead’s appearance was no doubt a surprise as the night before the concert, Liam tweeted a fan to say the 52-year-old musician is “too old” for rock ‘n’ roll and has bad hearing.
In response to a follower who posted, “Get Arthurs onstage with you again (sic)”, Liam replied: “He’s too old for all this RnR he’s deaf as well (sic)”
Having Bonehead on stage brings the tour full circle as the original Oasis member played ‘Be Here Now’ with Liam, 45, at his debut solo gig at Manchester’s O2 Ritz venue, a benefit gig held to raise money for the victims of the terror attack at Ariana Grande’s concert back in May.
The pair were reunited back in October 2013 when Bonehead joined Liam and his former band Beady Eye to perform at the ‘A Night For Jon Brookes’ tribute concert at The Royal Albert Hall, organised by The Charlatans to pay tribute to their late drummer.
Whilst Liam has occasionally brought out original strummer Bonehead, his estranged brother and former bandmate Noel has had Bonehead’s replacement Gem Archer performing in his High Flying Birds group.
Gem, 51, joined the ‘Supersonic’ rockers in 1999 after Bonehead quit and had been a member of Beady Eye, which Liam formed formed with other members of Oasis, including Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock, after Noel, 50, quit the band in August 2009 following a backstage row with his younger sibling.
Beady Eye eventually disbanded in October 2014 after releasing two albums, ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’ and ‘BE’.
As well as playing guitar in Oasis, Gem also contributed several songs, including ‘Hung in a Bad Place’ from 2002 album ‘Heathen Chemistry’, which was the first track not penned by a Gallagher brother to feature on one of the group’s LPs.

OHMYGOSSIP — Stormzy wants to collaborate with Stevie Wonder.
The ‘Big For Your Boots’ rapper has given up hope on duetting with Adele because she never does feature tracks, but he’d love to get into the studio with the 67-year-old Motown legend.
The 24-year-old grime star – whose real name is Michael Omari Owuo, Jr. – thinks Adele should carry on not having other artists on her tracks to continue her “phenomenal legacy”.
When asked about working with the ‘Hello’ hitmaker – who dedicated ‘Make Me Feel My Love’ to him at her London show last year – Stormzy said: “The reason why I say no is because she doesn’t do features – and she needs to keep it like that.
“I am rooting for her legacy to stay as phenomenal as possible.
“She hasn’t got to worry about what her next album does.
“All she has to do is go to the studio, lay down whatever pain or emotion or feeling she’s got and the rest will service itself.”
And on who else is on his wish list, he told the Metro newspaper: “Stevie Wonder … That would be…”
Meanwhile, Stormzy – who has won countless awards thanks to his critically-acclaimed LP ‘Gangs, Signs & Prayers’ – says the most important thing looking forward is ensuring he maintains being at the “top of [his] game”.
He said: “I’ve got to worry about making music and staying at the top of my game … focusing on what my actual trade is, being a musician and delivering incredible art.”
The ‘Blinded By Your Grace’ star is expected to sweep up plenty of prizes at 2018’s BRIT Awards.
He will reportedly be joined by the likes of Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith at the annual ceremony at London’s The O2 in February.
A source said recently: “Show chiefs were desperate to secure Ed, Sam and Stormzy as they’re the biggest names in UK music right now.
“The combined record and streaming figures are insane and the booking is bound to add numbers on the viewing figures too.
“It’s shaping up to be a top night.”
The 2017 bash, sponsored by Mastercard, saw Stormzy and Ed perform together, with the grime star joining his pal for a remix of the 26-year-old singer’s hit single ‘Shape Of You’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Eminem says the track ‘Castle’ on his new album is a message to his children about his regret for missing Christmas when he overdosed.
The ‘Walk On Water’ rapper, whose 21-year-old daughter Hailie’s birthday is on Christmas Day, was hospitalised in December 2007 after suffering a severe methadone overdose which doctors say almost killed him, and he has admitted it was a “rough” time.
Eminem revealed on his SiriusXM Shade45 channel: “The ‘Castle’ song basically takes place in 2007, which leads to the overdose, which leads to Christmas and her birthday and me missing that because I was in the hospital. Me not being there for my kids for Christmas was rough.”
The 45-year-old hip hop star – who also has custody of Hailie’s cousins Alaina and Whitney and his younger half-brother Nathan – admitted the track on new album ‘Revival’ is a recreation of his overdose experience.
He told Billboard: “And if you listen to ‘Castle’ all the way through, you hear me taking pills and falling; that was the re-creation of me falling in the bathroom and then waking up in the hospital and not knowing what the f**k was going on. I had tubes in me, I was angry and I couldn’t talk at all.”
The ‘Love The Way You Lie’ hitmaker also revealed he is still considering the possibility of a ‘Revival’ tour.
Eminem said: “I don’t know – possibly. Who knows? It’s something that’s being thought about. It’s not a ‘no’ right now, let’s just say that. It is possible.”
The rapper launched his new album earler this month with a pop-up spaghetti shop, Mom’s Spaghetti, in his hometown of Detroit, paying tribute to a popular internet meme based on his track ‘Lose Yourself’.
Referencing a lyric from the powerful call to arms, featured in his 2002 movie ‘8 Mile’, he tweeted: “Detroit! Come vomit up some spaghetti with me this weekend at our official #Revival pop up. Exclusive merch, spaghetti and more. (sic)”
The album features a number of collaborations, including Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Pink and Alicia Keys.

OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Shinoda has ruled out Linkin Park ever performing with a hologram of Chester Bennington.
The ‘Numb’ hitmakers were left devastated when their friend took his own life in July aged 41, and the 40-year-old musician insists it would be “awful” to take to the stage with a hologram version of the singer.
In an Instagram Live, he said: “I can’t even wrap my head around the idea of a holographic Chester. I’ve actually heard other people outside the band suggest that, and there’s absolutely no way. I cannot f**k with that.
“I can’t do a hologram Chester; that would be the worst. For any of you guys who have lost a loved one, best friend, family member, can you imagine having a hologram of them? Ugh. [It would be] awful. I can’t do it.”
Mike also recently admitted he “doesn’t know what comes next” for Linkin Park – who are also made up of Rob Bourdon, Brad Delson, Dave Farrell and Joe Hahn – following the release of ‘One More Night Live’ last week, their first record since Chester’s passing.
He told Billboard: “It’s a really nice way to showcase what a special experience each night was. And while I don’t know what comes next for us together or individually, this album is certainly a beautiful way of looking back at the body of work we created with Chester.
“Grief is a non-linear process. It doesn’t have ‘stages’ that go in order, it has phases that come and go at random. Some people are having sad days, others are having good days, others are having angry days…add the constant stress and fear of things like the news cycle, and you’ve got some exceptional chaos on your hands.
“So I’ve tried to make it a point to share how I’m doing, mostly on Instagram and sometimes Twitter, especially when I feel like I’m making progress.
“Coping with the end of this chapter is obviously devastating, but at the same time, it’s also the beginning of the next story.”
Mike was forced to leave an Instagram Live listening party early because he couldn’t carry on hearing the rocker’s vocals without getting upset.
He wrote on Instagram: “I did a listening party on Instagram Live today for the new album. I left early, and didn’t really give a reason. To be honest, it was because it’s hard for me to listen to Chester’s voice for that long. I’m fine, I just wanted you to know. Thanks for understanding. (sic)

OHMYGOSSIP — David Guetta wants his own song to be played at his funeral.
The 50-year-old DJ produced the Black Eyed Peas’ 2009 single ‘I Gotta Feeling’ and says the track is so special to him, that its release was one of the happiest moments of his life and he wants it played when he died.
When asked by The Guardian ‘What song would you like played at your funeral?’, he replied: “I Gotta Feeling”. And in response to the question, “When were you happiest?”, he said: “When I had my first kid and when I had my first big success with ‘I Gotta Feeling’.”
David is also proud of himself for “giving DJ culture more respect”, something he calls his “greatest achievement”.
However, his career has not been all positive; he admitted that his most embarrassing moment was when he did a live stream to launch one of his albums.
David explained: “When I was doing a live stream to launch my album. Millions of people were watching and the first audio file didn’t work. I was the biggest DJ in the world and I couldn’t even play one record. It was horrible.”
And he revealed that he takes criticism of his work badly.
The star – who admits “losing inspiration” is his biggest fear – said: “Every time I put out a record, I feel like it’s the best. So when a record is not successful it’s very painful.”
