OHMYGOSSIP — Camila Cabello “cried on the street” after finding out her debut solo album went in at number one on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart.
The ‘Havana’ hitmaker took to Twitter to express her excitement that her LP ‘Camila’ had topped the US charts.
Alongside a string of crying face emojis, she wrote: “MY ALBUM IS NUMBER 1 ON BILLBOARD HOT 200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IM CRYING ON THE STREET (sic)”
And the 20-year-old singer previously admitted her music career and her life are running in a “parallel line”.
Camila explained: “For me, my music and my life are in this parallel line. You know, that is why I changed the album title, because I was like, I’m not in that place anymore. We have to live in the same … you know, we have to live at the same time. I feel like whenever I’m done with an album, I feel like this is the end of a chapter. The next part is about collecting memories and experiences for the next thing – it’s nice.
“The album takes a turn where it becomes really introspective and heavy and confessional. So the tracklist was something I spent forever working on. I just tried every single possibility. I played it for my friends in the car in a bunch of different orders, because I didn’t like ending it with a [sighs], you know.”
Camila thinks there is a lot of “breaking barriers” in the music industry right now.
She said: “I think that the good thing about social media and the internet is that I feel like it makes the world smaller and it just kind of breaks down barriers between languages, between people, between cultures, and I think that might have something to do with that. I’ve been listening to Spanish music forever because that’s just not even Spanish music to me, it’s just music
“But I feel like with everything that’s gone on this year and also with groups like K-pop groups performing on American award shows and making their way into the mainstream American industry, I just feel like there’s a lot of just breaking barriers. Which I think is super beautiful, and I don’t know exactly what there is to credit for that, but I’m definitely glad it’s happening.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kieran Alleyne has quit 5 After Midnight.
The 22-year-old musician shot to fame after performing with his friends Jordan Bruce Lee and Nathan Lewis on UK talent competition ‘The X Factor’ in 2016 where they finished in third place, but the star has now revealed that just over a year after competing on the show, he is set to go it alone as a solo artist.
In a message posted on Instagram, Kieran said: “Hi guys.
“I wanted to thank you for all the support and love you have given me over the years. I have reached a point in my career where life has thrown me lots of huge opportunities to grow as an artist and as a man. I wanted to tell you that I have made the difficult disicion to leave the band 5am and 110% focus on becoming a solo artist off the back of the recent changes. I love the industry its my life. I wish Nathan and Jordan every success and they will be superstars in their chosen paths too so please continue to support them and 5am. I want to thank everyone who has supported us and me on the journey. (sic)”
Kieran – who welcomed a baby boy named Jaxon with his ex-girlfriend Sophie Johnson in April last year – has admitted he’s already begun work on his debut solo venture.
He added: “The next chapter has started now and I have been working with some amazing writers and producers on my music.
“2018 will be a great year and I will be working my heart out to achieve my dream.
“Love you all. (sic)”
It comes just one month after the star revealed he suffers with a heart condition named bradycardia, which causes a slow and irregular heartbeat.
A source said: “He is suffering from migraine attacks, and found that he has an irregular heartbeat and bradycardia – he needs to take it easy for the time being and the hospital will continue to monitor his heart.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa has been forced to reschedule several US tour dates due to “scheduling conflicts”.
The ‘IDGAF’ hitmaker was due to perform concerts in Dallas, Houston, and Seattle in February, but has been forced to push the shows back to June and July after the mishap.
However, she has reassured her 1.42 followers who purchased tickets that they will be able to attend the new dates, which will be announced soon, or get a full refund if they are unable to make it down.
The brunette beauty is also going to be performing Orlando, Florida after previously having to cancel a radio performance.
In a series of tweets she confirmed: “My loves, due to scheduling conflicts, I’ll be rescheduling my shows in Dallas, Houston, and Seattle. All dates will be moved to June and July of this year, and tickets will be honored at the re-scheduled shows … … If you’re not able to attend the new dates, full refunds will be offered at point of purchase. Please stay tuned for further details on exact dates and venues. Sorry for any inconvenience and i’ll see you soon xx … We are and they are in June and July. The ‘New Rules’ singer recently revealed it is her dream to bag a Grammy and play New York’s Madison Square Garden in the future.
The 22-year-old pop star has already performed around the globe in support of her chart-topping self-titled LP, but has set her sights on world domination, as she admits she dreams of wowing arenas and winning a prize at the prestigious US awards ceremony.
Speaking about her “high” ambitions”, she said: “I would love to win a Grammy. I would love to do a massive world arena tour one day, be able to see that my career has grown to that extent, to have the opportunity to go and perform at Madison Square Garden in New York. OHMYGOSSIP — Def Leppard waited to put their entire back catalogue on streaming services because they “weren’t going to be victims of the industry”.
The ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’ rockers, fronted by Joe Elliott, recently put their music on Spotify and Apple Music for the first time but admitted that part of the reason they waited was because they were holding out for a “fair deal”.
Joe told Rolling Stone magazine: “We needed the right deal for the band. We weren’t going to be victims of the industry. We signed our deal with Mercury many, many decades ago when there was no digital part of the record deal. So when [our contract ended] in 2009, we were free to do whatever we wanted to do. We were so busy touring and not worrying about the back catalogue – because people were still buying CDs – that we weren’t sure about [embracing] streaming.
“We came to the conclusion that it’s not going to do us any harm, but the deal had to be right. These things just don’t happen overnight.”
And he revealed that trying to place all of their music on the same service was another hold-up.
Joe said: “We didn’t want certain albums on one service and others through another one. So negotiating everything with different places just takes time, It’s not like a make-or-break thing, whether we do it or not. So we didn’t and just went off on our own.
“We were able to come to the decision that it was the right thing to do and have it all come out at once. So now you’ve got everything from the very first EP we did back in 1979 – which is what got us our record deal in the first place – all the way up to the last album that came out in 2015.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake says a Las Vegas residency is a “retirement plan”.
The 36-year-old singer – who is preparing for the release of his comeback album ‘Man of the Woods’ – insisted that he is not planning to follow in the footsteps of artists including his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Jennifer Lopez or Celina Dion by signing up for a Vegas residency.
During an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 Radio, he said: “I mean I wouldn’t rule it out if it was something that was different. I definitely don’t, you know, it feels like.”
When Lowe said: “…A retirement option?,” Justin agreed.
He said: “You’re planning your retirement. You know what I mean? So for some reason that feels like scary to me.”
Meanwhile, Justin has teamed up with Timbaland for his new album and he revealed the idea behind the record came from years of conversation with super producer Pharrell Williams.
Opening up about the LP’s Southern Americana sound, he explained: “There’s this sonic real estate that’s so available. [Pharrell] kept pushing me and pushing me to say, ‘No but you’re the guy who has to do it because you’re from there’.
“You can put a positive thing out there about the South and we can do it with sound. He kept telling me, ‘I can hear it.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — James Bay’s new album is inspired by Frank Ocean and Chance The Rapper.
The ‘Hold Back the River’ hitmaker insists he has always had a “soulful non-rock side” and was excited about taking a diverse range of influences and fusing them together for his upcoming second LP.
He said: “Chance the Rapper’s ‘Coloring Book’ and Frank Ocean’s ‘Channel Orange’ were really big influences this time around.
“I went on holiday to the Caribbean and must have placed ‘Channel Orange’ 15,000 times.
“I know that probably makes me sound like some organic guitar dude who is now deep into hip-hop but I’ve always had a soulful, non-rock side.
“The interesting thing to me was having those two in my left hand, and David Bowie and LCD Soundsystem in my right and smashing them together.”
The 27-year-old singer has chopped his long hair and ditched his trademark fedora for his second album campaign and knew all along he wanted to do something “unexpected” and become a “different person”.
He said: “Round two has been about thinking outside the box and doing something unexpected.
“As a competitive person, I set myself that challenge. I was more than ready to cut my hair off and put my hat on the stand and walk out a completely different person this time.
“Of course, telling your team that this is how you want to play it takes courage.
“But I’m confident. The opposite of doing that is being boring. So it was a no-brainer – go courage.”
But James admitted he was left with a “void” once he’d finished touring and promoting his debut LP, ‘Chaos and the Calm’, around the world in December 2016.
He told Q magazine: “Touring was over. The bubble had burst.
“When you’ve dispersed from the tight-knit family you’ve created on the road, you lose your sense of purpose for a minute. I was standing in front of this void.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dolores O’Riordan’s children will benefit from the proceeds of Bad Wolves’ remix of The Cranberries’ track ‘Zombie’.
The ‘Linger’ hitmaker was due to team up with the heavy rock band on Monday (15.01.18) to record her vocals on the song, but sadly passed away at her London hotel before the recording session.
Now the band have released the remix in the Irish star’s memory, with the money made going to 20-year-old Taylor, 16-year-old Molly and 12-year-old Dakota – Dolores’ children with ex-husband Don Burton.
The US band’s frontman, Tommy Vext said: “It was the greatest honour to know she liked our version and wanted to sing on it.
“We’re deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Dolores and by the fact that she’s leaving behind three children so we are donating the proceeds from the song to her kids.”
One of the notable changes to the track – from the alternative group’s seminal 1994 LP ‘No Need to Argue’ – is the use of 2018 instead 1916, in reference to the IRA bombings in Ireland, which Vext said O’Riordan was “excited” by.
He explained: “It’s such a powerful song and the themes are still so relevant, we wanted to release it in her memory.
“The original lyrics include the line ‘It’s the same old theme Since nineteen-sixteen. In your head, in your head, they’re still fighting’.
“It’s a reference to the IRA bombings during the Irish Rebellion. We changed that lyric to say ‘2018’ and she was really excited about that because the nations may have changed but we’re still fighting the same battles today. Humanity is still fighting to assert itself despite all the conflicts.”
Vext previously admitted the band’s hearts were left “broken” by the singer’s death.
He wrote on Facebook: “We are shocked and saddened at the news of Dolores’s passing, mere hours before she was to record vocals on our upcoming version of Zombie.
“We have always had deep respect for her as an artist and a vocalist and she was never afraid to bare her soul in her music and lyrics.
“Zombie is an incredibly personal song and although we are a hard rock band, we always felt the rawness and honesty she projected on stage and in her recordings was something to which all bands should aspire to, regardless of genre.
“When we heard she liked our version and wanted to sing on it, it was the greatest compliment a new band, or any band for that matter, could have received.
“Our hearts are broken that we were not able to see this collaboration through and our deepest condolences go out to her family, friends, loved ones and fans in Ireland and around the globe.
“We hope we can still make her proud by sharing our version of Zombie with the world. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — George Ezra’s new album ‘Staying at Tamara’s’ is named after a stranger he rented a room off in Barcelona.
The 24-year-old singer/songwriter will release his long-awaited follow-up to his 2014 debut LP ‘Wanted on Voyage’ on March 23, and has revealed the girl’s name in the title was actually the owner of the property he found online to stay in during his visit to the Spanish city.
Speaking on ‘The Chris Evans Breakfast Show’ on BBC Radio 2, he revealed: “I’m very fortunate, I went off to Barcelona for the month, I don’t know I could have got a hotel room or a flat for myself.
“But, instead I agreed to live with a stranger that I found on the internet.
“So I had this spare room of this girl who put it online, and I thought to myself, It doesn’t matter if I get there unhinged, I can duck at anytime, it’s not being in a contract.
“So the first three nights I was thinking, what am I doing here?
“The door was kind of open, her friends were coming and going.
“Her friends were all artists, musicians, designers and I didn’t know what I was doing there.
“So I just decided to commit and they were working in the day, so I would spend my days walking around, and it’s the best thing I ever did.
“So she is Tamara.”
George says he has no idea whether Tamara understood him when he told her he was to use her name for the record.
He said: “She is, kind of, I was a bit like, ‘Do you mind?’
“I’m not saying there is a language barrier, but I think she said yes. I think she was a little bit confused, but I don’t know maybe I’ll send her a copy of the album.”
The British star also revealed that he stayed in a cornflour shed in Kent, South East England and pig farm in Norfolk, East Anglia, during the writing process.
Though the ‘Budapest’ hitmaker feels very grateful that his career has allowed him the opportunity to travel the world, he does get pangs to return home to his own bed so he can spend more time with his loved ones.
Asked where he’d most like to go in the world, he said previously: “My own bed at the moment, we have been so lucky to visit a lot of places. I would love to spend more time in South Africa. But mostly home because I don’t get to see my friends enough.”

The ‘Green Light’ hitmaker is a massive fan of the ‘MotorSport’ rapper and believes she should be up for one of the top prizes at the annual ceremony, which this takes place on January 29, not just Best Rap Song and Rap Performance for ‘Bodak Yellow’.
And the 21-year-old beauty also feels the producer of Lorde’s latest record ‘Melodrama’, Jack Antonoff – who is up for Best Song Written for Visual Media for Taylor Swift’s ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’ – is deserving of Producer of the Year.
In an interview with Billboard magazine, she admitted: “I can’t remember – I’m literally Googling ‘Grammy snubs’ to see if I can think of something. Oh, f**k! Cardi B should have gotten a nomination in one of those big categories. [‘Bodak Yellow’] is nominated for best rap song and best rap performance.] She kind of defined 2017.
“I wish Jack got nominated for producer of the year, but still he’s well represented, I feel. [Antonoff is nominated for best song written for visual media.]”

OHMYGOSSIP — Graham Coxon says Blur “haven’t” talked about doing another record.
The 48-year-old musician says the iconic rock band are busy with their own projects at the moment, he’s just done announced he’s recorded the soundtrack for hit Netflix’s ‘The End Of The F***ing World’, including the track ‘Walking All Day’, to have time to meet up and discuss a follow-up to 2015’s ‘Magic Whip’.
Coxon told NME: “We haven’t discussed it. We are just doing what we are doing.”
Lead singer Damon Albarn is busy with Gorillaz, the animated band which released their all-star record ‘Humanz’ in 2017.
Speaking in April last year, Albarn said there was a possibility for more Blur music in the future.
When asked if the ‘Parklife’ hitmakers – which also features Alex James, and Dave Rowntree – would ever release anymore tunes, Damon said: “We’re all really good friends. And I feel like I’ve given many of my best years to Blur, so I don’t feel guilty in that sense. I’ve never said I’d never make another record. It’s all the same thing at the end of the day. It’s the nuances that make it different. It’s just more music, to add to the mountain of music there already is.”
And although he might not have completely put his Blur days behind him, the wait for any new music might be a long one as Damon also said he was busy planning new music for alternative rock supergroup The Good, The Bad, and The Queen – made up of Damon alongside ex-Clash bassist Paul Simonon, former Verve keyboard player Simon Tong and Afrobeat drumming legend Tony Allen.
He said: “I’m doing another record with the Good the Bad and the Queen. We’re doing that in May. That’s not GarageBand at all. That’s just the four of us playing live, straight on the floor.”
Meanwhile, Damon previously said he has over 40 unused tracks which he believes will keep him in the music industry for “at least another 18 months”.
He said: “I’m just sort of slowly going through all tunes that sort of didn’t work out and finishing them.
“I can stay in the game for at least another 18 months, I reckon.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Run DMC are set to return to the UK for the first time in three years for a rare headline concert.
The legendary hip-hop duo – comprised of Joseph ‘Run’ Simmons and Darryl ‘D.M.C.’ McDaniels – will perform at London’s Eventim Apollo on July 5.
In 2016, the ‘Walk This Way’ stars co-headlined The Isle of Wight Festival.
Speaking about their love for playing in the country, Simmons said previously: “We absolutely love playing the UK, it’s always been such a great reception. You guys rock!”
Since their split in 2002, following the murder of third member Jam Master Jay – real name Jason William Mizell – the pair reunited at Jay-Z’s Made In America Festival in September 2012.
Simmons and McDaniels then reunited again for Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas in November 2012, and again in June 2013 and August 2014 for a summer concerts in Atlanta, Georgia.
Though they haven’t released new music since 2014’s DJ Fresh remix of their classic hit song ‘It’s Tricky’, McDaniels previously revealed details of a solo album he’s working on with original songs.
He said last year, “I’m fulfilling my rock ‘n’ roll dream by collaborating with more of the artists who gave me a lot of music to rap over through sampling as a kid. Now I get to work with them.
“It’s all original songs from scratch, ’cause that really doesn’t happen anymore. It’s cool when bands get together to do remakes, but why not do something new? It’s brilliant. We’re all going in there and starting from scratch, creating these songs.”
Tickets start from £38 and will be available to purchase from January 24.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jorja Smith is set to join Rag’n’Bone Man for a duet at the BRITs.
The ‘Human’ hitmaker passed down the Critics’ Choice Award to the ‘Let Me Down’ singer this year, and now the pair are joining forces for a special performance at the ceremony at London’s The O2 on February 21, for what will be the first time a winner of the accolade has performed at the main event in the same year as winning the gong.
On the announcement, Jorja – who wowed viewers with her duet with Stormzy on ‘The BRITs Are Coming’ last weekend – said: “I can’t believe I’ll be performing at The BRIT Awards. Rag’n’Bone Man has had an incredible year and is such a crazy talent. When he asked me at the end of last year to perform I was so happy as it’s a real honour to be sharing the stage with him.”
After picking up the prize, Rory’s debut album ‘Human’ went straight to number one, achieving the fastest selling UK male debut of the decade and selling over 2.5 million copies worldwide.
BRITs Chairman & CEO and Chairman of Sony Music UK & Ireland Jason Iley said: “It will be an amazing moment from two incredible artists: One artist who has achieved huge success last year performing with another artist who is about to do the same this year.

OHMYGOSSIP — Def Leppard’s entire back catalogue is now available on streaming services for the first time.
The ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me’ rockers, fronted by Joe Elliott, were unable to share their songs on Spotify and Apple Music until now because of a royalties dispute with Universal, who owned the rights to the original recordings, but they’ve now agreed a new deal with the label.
Elliott commented: “It is with a mixture of relief and euphoria that we now see our entire catalogue finally getting a digital release.
“Having embraced every other format with open arms, especially and more recently the re-emergence of vinyl, we’re now going to be available to everyone everywhere and honestly, it’s as exciting as the original releases were.”
Elliott explained: “We tried to do a deal many years ago, but it didn’t work out, so we just waited and bided our time.
“Record labels, or any kind of institution like this, keep the same name, but every 18 months you can have totally different people.
“We were just very fortunate that the people at Universal at the moment were very onside to doing this deal. We sat down with them and basically just batted the stuff back and forth until we all settled on what we thought was a fair deal.”
Guitar player Phil Collen added: “We felt we’d been left out of the digital party, but it’s a thrill for us to finally accept the invitation and to be able to say ‘Yeah, you can stream us, download us and hear us on all digital outlets.'”
Among the records available are their 1980 debut studio album ‘On Through the Night’ and ‘Hysteria’, which gave rock fans the hits ‘Armageddon It’, ‘Love Bites’, ‘Woman’ and ‘Rocket’.
And that’s not all, the Sheffield band – also comprised of Vivian Campbell, Rick Allen and Rick Savage – have announced their first UK and Ireland since 2015, ‘The Hysteria Tour’, which will seem them perform the 1987 LP in full after demand from fans.
Savage said: “After many requests from fans in the U.K, I’m delighted that we can bring the whole ‘Hysteria’ album to arenas across Britain and Ireland later this year. From ‘Women’ to ‘Love and Affection’ plus many other faves thrown in for good measure.
“Oh, and our old pals Cheap Trick will be there also to help with the celebrations!! We can’t wait’.”
The run kicks off in Dublin On December 1, and ends in Birmingham on December 17.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Clarkson is a fan of Camila Cabello’s music.
The ‘Love So Soft’ singer – who won the first series of ‘American Idol’ in 2002 – revealed she has a lot of respect for the ‘Havana’ hitmaker, who competed in the US version of ‘The X Factor’ alongside Fifth Harmony, before leaving the band in 2016.
Kelly revealed in a Twitter Q&A session ahead of the Grammy awards: “I just got @Camila_Cabello new album and am really digging her vibe (sic).”
The 35-year-old pop singer was also asked if she would like to collaborate with any rap artists in the future, and Kelly seemed very keen on the idea, although she struggled to choose a favourite.
The ‘Since U Been Gone’ singer replied: “ooh I like a lot of rappers so either, Wiz Khalifa, Logic, Chance the rapper, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, and I LOVE Missy Elliot. I like a lot of rappers (sic).”
‘The Voice’ judge Kelly also admitted she would love to double date with fellow pop star P!nk and her husband Carey Hart.
Kelly said: “Son, I have four children, and a job. I’m lucky if I get sleep in my schedule ha! Although, hanging with her Carey sounds like a great date night for me and my man. They seem very low-key like us. We’re not big LA party people (sic).”
The ‘A Moment Like This’ singer – who is married to Brandon Blackstock, with whom she has three-year-old daughter River, and 21-month-old son Remington – recently revealed she and fellow ‘The Voice’ judge Gwen Stefani have been hanging out together in Los Angeles.
Kelly said: “You know, we’ve already [double dated] at her house, which is magnificent. And her family was there. It’s a real testament of how she’s such an awesome girl – it’s because of her family. Her family was super rad and down to earth. They’re really, really cool.”
