OHMYGOSSIP — Lynyrd Skynyrd have postponed two shows as guitarist Gary Rossington recovers from heart valve surgery.
The ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ hitmakers have been touring on their ‘Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour’, but their upcoming concerts in Las Vegas on Friday (16.08.19) and Saturday (17.08.19) in Wheatland, California, have been rescheduled to October 18 and 19 respectively.
Gary is said to be experiencing fatigue after the operation to fix a leaky valve.
The surgery follows the only surviving member of the original line-up of the group’s quintuple bypass in 2003 and heart attack in 2015.
Lynyrd’s next scheduled concert is on August 23 in Irvine, California.
The group have decided to bow out of touring following a 40-year career, after their current run comes to an end.
The band’s story took a tragic turn in October 1977, when a plane crash took the lives of frontman Ronnie Van Zant, guitarist Steve Gaines, backup singer Cassie Gaines, and several of their road crew.
The ‘Free Bird’ rockers took a decade-long hiatus before reuniting for a tour and live album, ‘Southern by the Grace of God’.
Since then, the band has toured and recorded extensively, with their most recent release being ‘Last Of A Dyin’ Breed’ in 2012.
Speaking about the tour earlier this year, Gary said: “It’s hard to imagine, after all these years, the band that Ronnie Van Zant, Allen Collins and myself started back in Jacksonville, would resonate for this long and to so many generations of fans.
“I’m certain they are looking down from above, amazed that the music has touched so many.”
Vocalist Johnny Van Zant – who took over frontman duties after his late brother’s death – added: “We’ve been blessed by these great songs and the messages they carry to the fans.
“It’s been a true honour to try and fill in my brother’s footsteps for the past 31 years, keeping the music and his spirit, alive.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Hayley Williams “doesn’t know” what the future holds for Paramore.
The ‘Misery Business’ hitmakers have been on hiatus since last year, and the 30-year-old star has admitted she and her bandmates – Taylor York and Zak Pharro – are enjoying being friends “without music” at the moment.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I really don’t know what’s next for Paramore.
“The guys [Taylor York, Zak Pharro] and I just had dinner the other night at my house, and I think we’re just really enjoying being friends and adult human beings at home by ourselves, without music.”
Hayley previously admitted she wanted to disband Paramore – whose last album was 2017’s ‘After Laughter’ – three years ago.
The ‘Pressure’ singer said the public criticisms and accusations of being controlling she faced on the departures of guitarist Josh Farro, her ex-boyfriend, and his brother, drummer Zac – who has since rejoined – in 2010 and bassist Jeremy Davis leaving in 2015, after launching a lawsuit against her and guitarist Taylor left her feeling drained and seeking a fresh start.
She admitted: “Two years ago I asked Taylor if we could start a new band. I was so sick of this c**p. I said we should just try something new, give it a new name.”
Taylor added: “I’ve wanted to quit this band so many times. Going through all this conflict and drama over the years … I was just like, ‘Man, I feel like we can keep going, but this is not worth it if we don’t want to be here.’ ”
And the pair admitted they are unsure as to why they have continued.
Hayley said: “Honestly, I don’t know. We, for some reason, kept showing up and kept writing and, little by little, the songs got better and we got a little more inspired to do it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande has been hard at work in the studio.
The prolific pop star has not long dropped new single ‘Boyfriend’ with Social House and has released two albums, ‘Sweetener’ and ‘Thank U, Next’, in two years, but her manager Scooter Braun has teased she has plenty more new material on the way.
He told Music Week magazine: “I don’t want to give too much away, she lives in the studio.
“As long as she has stories to tell, the music’s going to keep coming.”
The ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ hitmaker and record executive – who also represents Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato – have come to blows in the past, but Scooter has insisted their “ups and downs” are no different to fallings out with a family member.
He said: “The things Ariana and I have each gone through is very similar to Justin Bieber.
“When you’re family with someone you go through ups and downs and those moments make you stronger.
“The honesty becomes brutal and that’s what’s important in a real relationship.”
Scooter previously revealed Ariana, 26, once fired him over a “sh***y boyfriend”.
He suggested her ex-partner influenced the singer to sack him, as after she broke off the romance, she “saw the light” and asked to get in touch with Scooter once again.
He said: “I could have said a lot of stuff, and in fact my team wanted me to, because they were pissed. But I said ‘We’re not gonna say a word, and this is gonna come back around.’ They were like, ‘Never take her back!’, but I just said ‘Let’s stay quiet and let our truth be our actions.’
“And when sh***y boyfriends leave, she starts to see the light on some stuff, and one day I got a phone call. She said ‘Can I see you tomorrow?’ and I said, ‘No, I’m busy’ – I actually couldn’t, so I said ‘I could see you Thursday’ or whatever and I went over there and we had a very honest conversation.”
And he also believes the incident helped to give him and Ariana the “strength” to tackle the events of 2017, when the singer’s concert in Manchester was targeted by a suicide bomber who killed 22 people.
He said: “And that relationship we had, from being fired to getting back together, really gave us the strength for what we never imagined would come that following year.”
Just two weeks after the tragedy, Scooter and Ariana staged a benefit concert, named One Love Manchester, in the city to help raise funds for those affected.

The pair have been teasing fans about a potential collaboration and now they’ve got something to be hyped about after they shared a picture together on Instagram.
Anitta captioned the snap: “Yep… I think I just found my soul mate … Oi, Brasil, o bonde das funkeiras vai crescer, bom dia. @iamcardib (sic)”
The ‘I Like It’ hitmaker and the 26-year-old star were also joined by OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder in the studio.
Anitta recently tweeted Cardi saying she had the perfect “Brazilian funk” song for them to record.
She tweeted: “Okay @iamcardib
“After I passed out listening u saying u would love to record with I gotta say that I have the PERFECT track for us. I’ve seen you listening to Brazilian funk. The track is the best funk ever. Come onnnn (sic)”

And the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper responded saying she would agree to collaborate with Anitta if she taught her Portuguese.

Anitta recently collaborated with Madonna on the track ‘Faz Gostoso’ from the Queen of Pop’s comeback album ‘Madame X’ and taught the music legend – who moved to Lisbon, Portugal – her language.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Clash bassist Paul Simonon’s smashed Fender bass guitar is going on display 40 years after he destroyed it on stage.
The image of the incident, which took place at the British punk band’s New York gig at The Palladium in 1979, was immortalised on the cover of the group’s seminal third album ‘London Calling’, and now several items from that era are being showcased at the Museum of London at the upcoming ‘The Clash: London Calling’ exhibit.
The stringed instrument is among 100 personal items from the band’s history going on display.
Among the pieces is a notebook containing lyrics belonging to late frontman Joe Strummer, drummer Topper Headon’s drumsticks, handwritten album sequence note by guitarist Mick Jones and Joe’s typewriter.
Beatrice Behlen, senior curator of fashion and decorative arts at the museum, commented: “This display will provide a brand new, exciting and vibrant take on this, showcasing rarely seen personal objects and telling the incredible story of how ‘London Calling’ was, and for many still is, the sound of a generation.”
Paul previously revealed he got angry and destroyed the bass guitar because staff at the venue weren’t allowing fans to move out of their seats to rock out.
He recalled: “That frustrated me to the point that I destroyed this bass guitar.
“Unfortunately you always sort of tend to destroy the things you love.”
Meanwhile, Sony Music are releasing ‘The London Calling Scrapbook’, which comes with a copy of the album, lyrics, notes, photos and previously unseen material, on November 15.
Whilst October 11 will see the record reissued on cd, vinyl and cassette, in a special sleeve featuring the layers of artwork by Ray Lowry with photography by Pennie Smith.
The iconic platinum-selling album saw the band step out of their punk rock comfort zone and explore reggae, rockabilly, ska, New Orleans R&B, pop, lounge jazz and hard rock, and was highly relatable as they tackled London’s high levels of unemployment, drug use and racism through real-life and fictional characters.
‘The Clash: London Calling’ is free and will run from November 15 until spring 2020.

OHMYGOSSIP — Haim have “many more jams” coming out this year.
The trio – comprised of sisters Danielle, Alana an Este Haim – returned with new single ‘Summer Girl’ last month, their first new music since 2017 LP ‘Something To Tell You’, and now the girls have revealed they plan to drop a load more tunes this year.
In an interview with Matt Wilkinson on his Apple Beats 1 radio show, Danielle teased: “There will definitely be new music this year, we can tell you that.”
And her bandmate and sibling Alana added: “There will be many more jams coming!”
The ‘Don’t Save Me’ hitmakers released their latest single just a week after it was completed and that’s how they plan to release their music going forward.
Alana said: “We literally finished ‘Summer Girl’ like a week before it came out – and we were just like, let’s put it out.
“And that’s kinda how we’re feeling about our music now, we’re just writing it, getting in the studio and putting it out as it comes.
“It’s been really fun, it’s super new and we’re just doing it!”
‘Summer Girl’ was an emotional track to write, as Danielle recently revealed it was penned about her partner being diagnosed with cancer a couple of years ago – though he’s thankfully been given the all clear now.
Writing on social media, she shared: “summer girl is out … I wrote it around the time my partner was diagnosed with cancer a couple years ago… (he’s in the clear now!) we were touring on and off at this time and every time we were on the phone with each other or when I would come home in between shows, I wanted to be this light that shined on him when he was feeling very dark. I wanted to be his hope when he was feeling hopeless. so I kept singing these lines – I’m your sunny girl/I’m your fuzzy girl/I’m your summer girl – over the bass line. summer girl stuck. (sic)”
And it “all clicked” when a friend came up with a saxophone solo for it.
She added in a lengthy post: “fast forward to a couple months ago – I remembered this demo and pulled it up from my phone. we were kinda joking about how the doot doot doot part reminded us of [Lou Reed song] walk on the wild side… it’s very inspired by Lou and we kept it that way. I brought it back to my partner Ariel – where the inspiration first started – and he put some finishing touches on it and here we are! (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jay-Z wants to change the “fractured” process of choosing the headliner for the Super Bowl halftime show.
The ’99 Problems’ hitmaker will be producing the entertainment extravaganza as part of the agreement his company Roc Nation have made to be official Live Music Entertainment Strategists for the NFL and he thinks too many artists have been upset in the past because the shortlisting wasn’t “definitive” enough.
He said: “You take four artists and everyone thinks they’re playing the Super Bowl, it’s almost like this interview process.
“And so I pick Chuck, the other three people get upset. So, that’s not even good math. After three years, nine people upset and three people played. … I think the process should have been a little more definitive. … You speak to someone and you let them have it and you move on. And I think then let the artists be artists.”
Next year’s NFL championship game will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, and Jay wants to “speak to the community” before approaching artists to perform.
Asked in a press conference if Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull — who have strong ties to Miami – could headline, he replied: “Not in those terms. We had this conversation, you can’t go to a city, plop a show down and then leave. Like, at least speak to the community.
“Speak to the guys that’s on the ground organizing things and trying to make things better, in that sort of way.
“Tampa’s next [in 2021]. I love Tampa, but I have no idea who’s from there, who would perform.
“So, I don’t want to be running into that problem. Sometimes it may happen and it may wind up that the person is from the city that they perform, but you don’t want to get in that space ’cause then, again, who performs in Tampa?”
This year’s show was headlined by Maroon 5 with appearances from Travis Scott and Big Boi but Jay couldn’t understand why the ‘Sicko Mode’ hitmaker wasn’t topping the bill in his own right.
He said: “Nobody asked about it, but my problem with Travis Scott wasn’t about him not playing football, my problem was that he had the biggest year to me.
“Last year, he had a monster record — ‘Sicko Mode’ — and he’s playing on a stage with an M on it. I don’t see any reason for him to pay second fiddle to anyone that year and that was my problem.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Simply Red have announced their first album in four years, ‘Blue Eyed Soul’.
Mick Hucknall and co have released lead single ‘Thinking Of You’ from the follow-up to 2015’s ‘Big Love’, and the ‘Something Got Me Started’ hitmaker, 59, has admitted he wanted to make an uplifting record this time.
According to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column, he said: “I could do one of those dark, reflective albums looking back on my life, that people tend to do at a certain age.
“But I thought, sod that! I want to have a good time.”
The new record – which is released on November 8 – may come as a surprise to fans, as Mick had suggested that their previous album “may be the last”.
The frontman had admitted it could have been the final music anyone hears from the band because he wanted to enjoy being “happy” with his family.
He confessed at the time: “I do have the feeling I’ve reached a sort of end point. I’m very happy in my life, my focus is my family and actually enjoying what I have. I never thought I’d get to this place. I never thought I’d actually ever get to be happy.”
‘Big Love’ was a “very personal collection of songs,” which were inspired by his marriage to long-term girlfriend Gabriella Wesberry in 2010, their daughter Romy, and his late father, who brought him up single-handedly.
He explained: “The idea started out to mark the 30th anniversary of Simply Red but it turned into this very personal collection of songs.”
And due to the emotional nature of the tracks, the ‘Holding Back the Years’ hitmaker confessed he was unsure whether he will ever be able to perform them live without breaking down in tears.
Speaking about one specific song ‘Dad’, he said: “I don’t know how I’m ever going to sing this song live.
“I don’t think I could get through it without crying.”
Ahead of the album, Simply Red will play BBC Radio 2 Hyde Park on September 15.

OHMYGOSSIP — Gary Barlow is preparing a solo record of original songs featuring an orchestra.
The Take That star has revealed his as-yet-untitled album will be released in autumn 2020.
He told fans on Twitter: “There’s new music in the air.I’m happy to announce a new solo record for the Autumn of 2020. I’ve done so much in my career but the one thing I’ve never recorded is a record with an orchestra. Original songs with big contemporary orchestral arrangements. I better be off then …. (sic)”
The new record will be his first solo outing since 2013’s ‘Since I Saw You Last’, which debuted at number two in the Official UK Chart.
Gary recently teased fans about his idea for new solo tunes.
He said: “It’s been a long time since I’ve had to think about what’s next for me.
“It’s been nice to have the time & peace to work it out.
“I’m following what my heart’s telling me. I type this while sat at my piano… (sic)”
Since Take That reformed in 2005, Gary, 48, has previously gone on two tours on his own, in 2014, in support of ‘Since I Saw You Last’, and last year during some downtime from the band.
Take That wrapped their ‘Greatest Hits Live Tour’ in June, and although they are getting some much needed family time, they will be back for the next “chapter” in a “few” years time.
Howard Donald – who completes the current line-up with Mark Owen – said: “We’re going to rest for a bit and not even think about any other tours or albums.
“This is the end of Part Two and when we feel like it, we can come back and start talking again about where we want to go next, rather than having the pressure of coming straight out of a tour and thinking, ‘Right come the middle of the year we’ve got to start writing another album and go over to LA and do this and do that’.
“It’s actually really nice, because we’ve all got big families and we want to spend time with them rather than saying ‘We’re only going to stay with them ’til August and then we’ve got to go over to LA and do another album’.
“It’s nice to say we know we’ve got another few years.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Jones “felt like quitting” Stereophonics after their 2018 world tour.
The ‘Maybe Tomorrow’ hitmaker has revealed that he contemplated calling it a day with the band because he had no inspiration to write new music after being burnt out on the road.
He told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “Our last gig of the world tour was September 2018, in Brooklyn – I was done, had written no songs, nothing new, I thought I felt like quitting.”
However, after some time away from his bandmates – Richard Jones, Adam Zindani and Jamie Morrison – ideas started flowing out of him and formed the songs on their upcoming LP ‘Kind’.
He continued: “I’ve never been the sort of songwriter who needs to be isolated in a chalet in the middle of the mountains to find inspiration.
“Normally we come off a tour with a few ideas.”
Kelly ended up writing some “really vulnerable” songs which helped him deal with his thoughts.
He added: “I had a load of songs that just came through me, lyrics just filling up pages, no crossings out, complete songs formed.
“A bunch of really vulnerable songs about things I hadn’t quite worked out for myself, the songs began to inform me how I was feeling.
“I just needed to get them out of me.”
‘Fly Like An Angel’ from the album is about being “reborn” and stepping outside of your “comfort zone”.
The 45-year-old musician explained: “I feel it covers a lot of ground on the record and the line came: ‘Wanna fly like an eagle, and dare to be reborn’ – not in a religious sense but it’s about changing and growth, learning, not relying on the comfort zones of your life.
“And as people we all morph into new and different versions of ourselves.
“We don’t have to stay the same.”
And Kelly – who embarked on a solo tour this summer – admitted his bandmates are understanding when he needs to take some time out.
He said: “Being in a band is like being in a marriage, every now and again I need a bit of space, I say: ‘It’s not you, it’s me’ and they let me go my own way but don’t take my house half the money.”
‘Fly Like An Angel’ follows the band’s standalone track ‘Chaos From The Top Down’ and 2017 LP ‘Scream Above the Sounds’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Skunk Anansie’s Skin was “more irritated” when Beyonce declared herself the first black artist to headline Glastonbury than when Stormzy did.
The ‘Brazen’ rocker responded to correct the grime star, who topped the bill on the Pyramid Stage in June, after he shared how “overwhelmed” he was to be the first person of colour to close the festival, and Skin pointed out that her band actually beat him and Beyonce to it 1999.
However, Stormzy apologised and Skin has revealed they had a “lovely” conversation privately on Twitter afterwards.
Skin has also admitted that she was more annoyed when US superstar Beyonce made similar claims when she headlined in 2011.
In an interview with The Guardian newspaper, Skin said: “If I’m really honest, I was way more irritated when Beyoncé said she was the first black woman.
“I really like Stormzy and I think he does a lot of good.
“I would never tear that guy down and I would never start a beef and take that moment away from him. “But I had to stick up for myself.”
On being “proud” of ‘Vossi Bop’ hitmaker Stormzy, she added: “The guy has so much class.
“He DM’d me personally and it was a lovely message. We had a little conversation.
“We’re all proud of the fact he’s a black man, doing the black man things.”
Skin had wrote on Instagram: “Sorry Stormzy but we beat you to it in 1999! 20 years ago! And while we’re on topic, I was the first black Woman too! @beyonce.
“Wishing you an awesome nite tho, Kill it! You’re amazing and we’re all very proud… Real question is why it took 20 years! (sic)”
Stormzy later took to Twitter to set the record straight, as he heaped praise on the ‘Hedonism (Just Because You Feel Good)’ hitmakers.

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX is dropping new track ‘Cross You Out’ featuring Sky Ferreira on Friday (16.08.19).
The 27-year-old star has teamed up with the ‘Baby Driver’ actress on the new song which is featured on her long-awaited upcoming self-titled LP ‘Charli’.
The ‘Boom Clap’ hitmaker shared a clip of her lip-syncing to the new song on Twitter, and captioned the post: “NEW SONG DROPPING ON FRIDAY CC: @SKYFERREIRA (sic)”
The track follows the release of ‘Gone’ with Christine and The Queens, whilst Charli’s tracks with Lizzo, Haim, Kim Petras and Troye Sivan also feature on her first record since 2014’s ‘Sucker’.
Meanwhile, The 1975’s Matty Healy recently teased a potential collaboration with Charli.
The ‘Chocolate’ hitmaker revealed to fans over the weekend that he had sent a “beat” to the singer and shared that it’s a “monster tune”.
He tweeted: “Sent her a beat at like 5pm yesterday and woke up this morning to a HIT.
A MONSTER TUNE!!
I’m prolific but she’s on some s***

However, when asked whether his band or himself will feature on the track, Matty said that he doesn’t know yet and added that the band No Rome – who are signed to their record label Dirty Hit – and his bandmate George Daniel worked on the song.
He replied: “Not sure yet but me and Rome and George produced.”
The ‘1999’ hitmaker will release her new album ‘Charli’ on September 13.
The ‘I Love It’ singer is also set to embark on a world tour later this year, which will take the star across the US, UK and Europe.
She said: “This will be a party like never before!”
In September, she will start her US run in support of the new record, before hitting the UK in October for shows in Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and London.
The European leg of the tour starts on November 4 in Stockholm, Sweden, and the 16 dates take her through the likes of Germany, France, Poland, Spain and Luxembourg before a final show at the Izvestia Hall in Moscow, Russia.

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift will release the video for ‘Lover’ next Thursday (22.08.19).
The 29-year-old singer has just released the romantic track – inspired by her boyfriend of three years Joe Alwyn – and she revealed that the new music video will premiere after her YouTube live event next week.
Speaking to fans in a video posted on social media, Taylor said: “Hey guys, so I’m going love on YouTube on August 22nd at 5pm EST. It’s going to be really fun, we’re going to talk all things ‘Lover’, the Stella McCartney line, I’m going to do a performance of a song I’ve never performed before and then we’re going to premiere the brand new music video for the song ‘Lover’. So join us, please.”
She also tweeted: “New song ‘Lover’ is out tonight at midnight eastern! The music video will premiere after a very exciting @YouTube Live situation on August 22 at 5pm eastern!”
The single ‘Lover’ has been co-produced by Jack Antonoff and Taylor recently revealed that the song is particularly special to her, explaining: “This has one of my favourite bridges. I love a bridge, and I was really able to go to Bridge City.”
Taylor has already released three songs from the album, singles ‘Me!’ and ‘You Need To Calm Down’ and promotional track ‘The Archer’, which the star explained was not a single but was meant to show fans a different side to her music. ‘The Archer’ did not receive a music video but Taylor decided to release a lyric video for the track.
The album ‘Lover’ will feature 18 songs and Taylor recently revealed that it “a love letter to love”.
She said: “I was compiling ideas for a very long time. When I started writing, I couldn’t stop.
“There are so many ways in which this album feels like a new beginning. This album is really a love letter to love, in all of its maddening, passionate, exciting, enchanting, horrific, tragic, wonderful glory.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake and Lizzo appear to have a collaboration in the works.
The ‘Cry Me A River’ hitmaker and ‘Truth Hurts’ rapper – who has recently featured on tracks with the likes of Charli XCX and Megan Thee Stallion – teased fans by sharing a video of them jamming in the studio together on Thursday (15.08.19).

In March, Justin shared a video of him in the booth with his long-time collaborator Timbaland and hinted the pair are working on something new.
He wrote: “Happy Birthday to my brother @timbaland!!! More claps that slap soooooon come!!!!! (sic)”
And last summer, Justin admitted he is keen to work with Drake again.
The 38-year-old singer previously joined forces with the ‘Hotline Bling’ hitmaker for the track ‘Cabaret’ – which appeared on Justin’s 2013 album ‘The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2’ – and said he had already “talked about” teaming up with the star for a second time.
He said: “I love ‘Scorpion’, I think it literally just like answered anything. We’ve talked about [collaborating again] a lot. I don’t wanna say too much because I don’t wanna jinx it, but we’ve talked about it a lot.”
It isn’t just Drake that Justin wants to get back into the studio with either, as he also noted his reunion with Pharrell Williams on his latest album, ‘Man of the Woods’, is just the beginning when it comes to the work he plans on doing with the renowned producer-and-artist.
Justin added: “I feel like we just got back together, there’s so much more to do and so many more sounds to explore together.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Missy Elliott will receive a Video Vanguard Award at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
The 48-year-old rapper will collect the accolade – which is awarded for her music video contributions over the years – at this year’s VMAs, which takes place at the Prudential Center in New Jersey on August 26th.
Bruce Gillmer, head of music and music talent at Viacom and co-brand head at MTV International, said: “Missy’s impact on the music landscape is indelible.
“Her creative vision across production, performance and song-writing is unmatched.”
Missy will follow in the footsteps of the likes of Rihanna, Madonna, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and Kanye West when she collects the prize.
The ‘Work It’ hitmaker will perform at the ceremony for the first time in 16 years.
Taylor Swift will also take to the stage to sing at the event, in what will be her first televised performance since the release of her new album ‘Lover’, which hits shelves just three days before.
The 29-year-old star leads the nominations alongside Ariana Grande with both up for 10 awards, including the coveted Video of the Year accolade for ‘You Need to Calm Down’ and ‘Thank U, Next’ respectively.
However, Katy Perry recently denied reports she is set to perform at the VMAs.
Speaking on an Instagram Stories Q&A with her fans, she said: “I am not performing on the VMAs, so not everything you read on the internet is true. Go figure. I personally think “www” stands for wild wild west … I always say if it doesn’t come from me, take it with a grain of Himalayan salt.”
And Miley Cyrus has also denied she will be performing at the spectacle.
A fan wrote on Instagram: “Guess I’m not watching the VMAS this year… unless Miley performs.”
She replied: “No f***in way.(sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Disclosure have “over 100 songs” ready for their long-awaited third studio album.
The electronic music duo – comprised of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence – had been on hiatus but they’ve been busy in the studio over the past two years, and have now given fans an update on when they can expect new music.
In an interview on the Veronica and Lewis’ triple j radio show Drive, Howard shared: “We’ve been working on this music for like two years now and we’re getting to a point where we are almost happy… “We’ve been at that ‘almost’ stage for a while now. “We’re just going to keep cracking on and hopefully we’ll have some music out next year.”
The ‘Holding On’ hitmakers announced in early 2017 that they were taking a brief break from music for a “much needed rest”.
They told fans at the time: “We really cannot thank every single one of you enough.
“You changed our lives forever and enable us to do what we love best on this planet.”
The new record will be their first since 2015’s ‘Caracal’.
The brothers also put Wild Life festival, which they curate with Rudimental, on hiatus in 2018 while they work on the album.
The music spectacle at Shoreham Airport, West Sussex, south east England, usually takes place in June, but there is no word yet on when it will return.
They wrote on Facebook: “We embarked on a new journey three years ago by launching WILD LIFE Festival at Shoreham Airport with our close friends, Rudimental. We’d not long finished touring our asses off of debut album, Settle and that inaugural year of the festival in 2015 allowed us to embark on our next chapter with the release of second album, Caracal.
“Being able to curate your own festival with your mates and invite legends like NAS, Ice Cube and Chaka Khan to play alongside amazing new talent such as Stormzy, Kaytranada and AJ Tracey, stack them up against a host of flawless DJ’s like Annie Mac, Jackmaster and ARMAND VAN HELDEN and throw parties with elrow is literally a dream come true.
“However, with a busy recording schedule ahead as we embark on album number 3 we’re going to give the green grass of Shoreham Airport a break throughout 2018 and come back bigger and better in 2019. (sic)”
