OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX didn’t feel “confident enough” to release another album after ‘Sucker’.
The ‘1999’ hitmaker has admitted that it wasn’t until she released her party mixtapes ‘Pop 2’ and ‘Angel’ in 2017, which felt like her “ultimate music”, that she felt like she was able to put out her third studio effort, which became ‘Charli’.
She admitted to Rolling Stone: “Prior to ‘Pop 2’ and ‘Angel’, I don’t think I felt confident enough to release another album.
“Even though I’m very proud of ‘Sucker’, I knew I was making the ultimate music I wanted to hear when I was partying. Through [the mixtapes], I found that.”
The 27-year-old star also opened up about the pressures placed on artists today to be the “funniest” and “provocative” whilst also trying to “not upset anyone”.
On her insecurities, she added: “Sometimes I think I’m better than every single one of you and other times I feel like I’m literally nothing.
“There’s so much pressure in 2019 to be the funniest and know your brand and be the works and not upset anyone but also be provocative.”
‘Charli’ turned out to be her “most honest” record to date because she started saying exactly what is on her mind.
The ‘Gone’ hitmaker explained recently: “[The record is] my most personal album yet. It’s [a record] where I talk a lot more about my insecurities and my thoughts that go on in my head every day about the position I’m in as a person and as an artist.”
And whilst Charli originally planned to put out a third mixtape, she felt as though ‘Charli’ was more like a full-length project.
She added: “With ‘Pop 2’, I felt the solidifying of my fan base and was more connected to my fans than ever before. I thought that they might want an album from me. So I didn’t want to deprive them of it. I just felt confident enough to put one out.”
But the ‘Flash Pose’ singer admits there isn’t much difference between an album and a mixtape, except for the “pressure” that comes with releasing a full album.
She said: “When you’re signed to a major label and you want to release an album, there’s a lot of pressure that’s attached with the word ‘album’ including sales, streams, expectations, and goals. I just wanted to put stuff out without this expectation attached to it.”
The ‘Boom Clap’ hitmaker no longer “cares” about commercial success, and would rather just have the “creative freedom” to do her own thing.
She said: “I used to think of [commercial success] all the time once I had the taste of what a big successful hit could feel like, but I feel like there’s a lot of creative freedom in not caring.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lindsay Lohan has released her first song in more than a decade, and says the music video is about “moving forward and letting go of the past”.
The 33-year-old singer-and-actress took to Instagram to post her video for new single ‘Xanax’, she is hoping the tune will encourage people to “be grateful” and look forward to opportunities rather than “numb the mind”.
She wrote on IGTV: “This video is a compilation of vignettes of life. Family, love, the process of moving forward and letting go of the past. To live and be happy, free of fear.
“Just to be grateful and open our eyes to our opportunities instead of numbing the mind (sic)”
The ‘Mean Girls’ star – whose last release was 2008 single ‘Bossy’ – has teamed up with Miley Cyrus’ collaborator Alma for the song, in which she sings about anxiety.
On the new track, Lindsay sings: “I can’t be in this club, it’s too crowded and I’m f***ed/ Ain’t nobody here for love/ Ain’t nobody care about us/ But you’re like Xanax to me.”
And in another section of the song, she belts out: “Would you like to sit next to me? When you kiss me, I can’t breathe/ I try to stay away from you, but you get me high/ Only person in this town that I like/ Guess I can take one more trip for the night–just for the night.”
In May, Lindsay told fans she was getting ready to reboot her singing career, revealing she had been busy in the recording studio.
The ‘Herbie: Fully Loaded’ actress shared a photo of herself in a dimly lit studio booth and simply captioned the Instagram post with a headphones emoji.
Lindsay dropped two studio albums in mid-Noughties, the latest one being ‘A Little More Personal’ in 2005, which followed on from her debut album ‘Speak’ in 2004.

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwen Stefani is still surprised ‘Just A Girl’ was such a big hit for her.
The No Doubt singer says the song was one of the first she had ever written and to this day, it still shocks her that it did so well because she was so “naive” when she wrote it.
She said: “When I wrote the song, I was just so naive. I hadn’t written very many songs … and I didn’t even know who I was. I was just getting in touch with that feeling when you’re born, if you’re female, you don’t think about it – you’re just a human. Then, through life, you sort of start to realise, ‘Oh, someone just whistled at me, what does that mean?'”You get this kind of, like, power through your sexuality, but then you’re kind of vulnerable at the same time, because all of a sudden you’re a victim, like, ‘I can’t drive late at night? Why?’ You have all these awarenesses as you’re getting older and I just wanted to write a song about that … It was sarcastic. I never thought anyone would hear the song or that I would be sitting here talking about it all these years later, but I feel proud of it.”
The song was used in the recent ‘Captain Marvel’ movie and Gwen admits she was “screaming in the movie theatre” when she heard her track playing.
Speaking on The View, she added: “I was sitting there with my kids … and the song just kept going. I was like, ‘Oh my gosh!’ I was screaming in the movie theatre.”

OHMYGOSSIP — La Roux has teased a return to music.
The ‘Bulletproof’ hitmaker recently deleted all of her posts on her Instagram and Twitter accounts, except for one about how great Tyler, the Creator’s London show was last week, whilst on Tuesday (24.09.19) she got fans excited with a post suggesting she is working on her first new music in five years.
Alongside a studio snap, the singer – whose real name is Elly Jackson – simply wrote: “Back at it..”
All of La Roux’s social media pages, including Facebook, also have a new green and purple theme, hinting at a new era.
La Roux formed in 2006 and originally featured producer Ben Langmaid.
The pair released their self-titled debut album in 2009, but Elly and Ben parted aways during early 2012, and she ended up finishing second album ‘Trouble in Paradise’, which was released two years later, by herself.
Elly previously revealed she separated from her bandmate because she had become a ”different person”.
The ‘In For The Kill’ singer claimed problems emerged between the pair because she spent so long touring their self-titled debut album in America and returned with a different set of influences.
She explained: ”It was always going to be difficult because we’d had a long time away from each other when I was on tour.
”We weren’t really that connected and I’d realised what kind of performer I wanted to be onstage, which led to me finding my first record restricting. I came back home and I felt like a different person.”
Although the pair initially returned to the recording studio together, they found themselves clashing regularly over their output.
Elly recalled: ”I came to him with some rare disco references and he made it very clear that he didn’t like them. There wasn’t a great deal of understanding.
”Sometimes I thought we were on the same level, but then from the production that would come to light, I didn’t feel that we were. I wasn’t happy with the way some of the demos were sounding, or how they felt.
”On the album, there are maybe two songs that have similar production styles to the way I started them with Ben, but they were essentially demo tracks and I felt they needed a lot of subsequent work.”
Although La Roux had been somewhat retired, Elly recently provided backing vocals on Tyler, the Creator’s track ‘Thank You’ on his recently released LP ‘Igor’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Normani’s album is “a little more than halfway” done.
The former Fifth Harmony star has teased fans that they will be getting her debut solo studio effort very “soon” and shared how her recent hit single ‘Motivation’ – which was co-written by Ariana Grande – is just “one layer” of the “dynamic” record.
Speaking on ‘The Zach Sang Show’, she spilled: “[‘Motivation’] is one layer.
“I want to make sure this album is very dynamic.
“There are so many dimensions to me, not only as an artist but as a person — there are things that I want to talk about and emotions that I want to convey. [‘Motivation’ is] one portion of it for sure but there’s a whole more to be able to discover.”
The 23-year-old singer admitted that she wasn’t able to “tap into who Normani was 110%” until she released the song.
She explained: “‘Motivation’ was such an incredible opportunity for me to showcase what I knew I was capable of for such a long time. “Being in an entity and being who you are within that, I couldn’t tap into who Normani was 110%.”
The ‘Dancing with a Stranger’ hitmaker also revealed she enjoyed some “girlie” time with Ariana in between their shows when she supported the ‘7 Rings’ singer on the US leg of her ‘Sweetener World Tour’.
She said: “She’s genuinely one of the best people on the planet.
“We spent time together in and out of the venue.
“Ari had a sleepover, we did casual girlie stuff, we did face masks, hooked the PlayStation up.”
Meanwhile, Normani recently admitted she feels “vulnerable” as a solo artist.
Speaking about her music video for ‘Motivation’, she shared: “Putting something out is a vulnerable moment, because you give everybody the opportunity to pick apart something you’ve worked incredibly hard on.
“Ultimately, I guess it paid off, and I’m happy that everybody loves it. I’m such a perfectionist.
“Even seeing the final version – I wouldn’t say I’m 100 percent happy with it, but I know for sure that it’s just going to motivate me to get it 100 percent right next time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen + Adam Lambert’s ‘The Rhapsody Tour’ will see them play six shows at London’s The O2 arena in 2020.
Brian May, Roger Taylor and the former ‘American Idol’ star will bring their spectacular new live show to the UK in June, kicking off with a mini residency at the North Greenwich venue between June 2 and June 9, before a stop at Manchester Arena on June 11.
The tour comes off the back of the blockbuster Queen musical ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.
Meanwhile, guitar legend Brian recently hailed Adam as a “true phenomenon” and slammed anyone who has suggested Queen should tour with a Freddie Mercury impersonator.
The 72-year-old rocker heaped praise on the 37-year-old singer, who he called a “modern marvel”, and admitted they wouldn’t be able to perform and carry on the legacy of Queen without him.
Alongside a concert snap of Adam before their San Jose concert on in July, Brian wrote on Instagram: “And here is the Modern Marvel without whom, for sure, Queen would not be out here delivering at the top level. ADAM LAMBERT is only now beginning to be recognised by the greater public as the true phenomenon that he is. Gifted with a voice in a billion, for himself he is a passionate and unyielding perfectionist. Gifted to us, he is the reason that we are still alive as a functioning rock band. And still able to take on new challenges.
“Plus … he’s nice. That’s a big deal when you’re a touring family. Freddie would approve, big time. (sic)”
Responding to the “few people” who have said they’d be better performing with a tribute frontman in the place of the late great Freddie – who died 1991 aged 45 due to complications from AIDS – the ‘We Will Rock You’ hitmaker concluded: “(TONITE !!! Also, and I will say this only once, for the benefit of just a few people who haven’t stopped to think clearly. OHMYGOSSIP — Jonas Blue wants to collaborate with Sam Smith.
The ‘Ritual’ hitmaker once worked with the ‘Stay With Me’ singer at a bar, but he admitted they haven’t met since and he would love the chance to reconnect to bring their talents together.
He told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “[They] left the bar and went on to become Sam Smith and do amazing things. I then left the bar and went on to become Jonas Blue and do amazing things.
“I am sure I will see Sam again, maybe at the BRITs or something, and we can talk as I do love Sam’s voice, that could be pretty cool.”
Although Jonas, 30, isn’t sure a collaboration would have worked in the past, the DJ suggested Sam’s new style on tracks like ‘How Do You Sleep?’ and Normani duet ‘Dancing With A Stranger’ means it would finally be a good fit.
He added: “There was a point where I think it wouldn’t have worked that well, as [they were] writing about things that didn’t really connect in my world.
“But now with things like the Normani record and [their] new single, that feels really good and I can imagine doing something like that.”
Meanwhile Sam, 27, recently revealed which pronouns they would like to be referred to from now on after a “lifetime of being at war with their gender”.
They wrote on their social media account: “Today is a good day so here goes. I’ve decided I am changing my pronouns to THEY/THEM … after a lifetime of being at war with my gender I’ve decided to embrace myself for who I am, inside and out.
“I’m so excited and privileged to be surrounded by people that support me in this decision but I’ve been very nervous about announcing this because I care too much about what people think but f***k it!
“I understand there will be many mistakes and mis gendering but all I ask is you please please try. I hope you can see me like I see myself now. Thank you.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mandy Moore released new music “selfishly” for herself.
The ‘This Is Us’ star unveiled her new song ‘When I Wasn’t Watching’ recently – which will appear on her upcoming new album – and she admits she is “overwhelmed” at the thought that other people want to listen to her music.
Speaking to PeopleTV, she said: “I just dropped it, as the kids say. I am super excited about it and happy that people have been digging it so far. I’m so overwhelmed and heartened that people even know or still care that I make music, because I really truly am still doing it selfishly for me. I miss it, I miss writing, I miss performing, I miss the whole thing, so it feels really really good to be back there. It’s not a bad deal, I feel incredibly lucky. I am just soaking in every second of this particular moment.”
Back in July last year, Mandy confirmed she was “dipping her toe” back into music.
She said: “It’s been about 10 years since I’ve made a record. I am dipping my toe back in as we speak. I’ve just started writing.”
And her husband Taylor Goldsmith, has been a source of inspiration for her.
She said: “I live with a songwriter so music is this sort of constant thread in our house.”
And asked about the possibility of a duet, she added: “Maybe we will, but we write together and we sing together. I sing on his records and I want him to come play on my records.”
The ‘Candy’ hitmaker pushed Taylor to release ‘Never Gonna Say Goodbye’, a song he’d penned last year after she suffered a black eye and needed stitches following a freak accident with a shower door because he was initially reluctant to keep the lyrics private.
She recalled: “I remember hearing it and I was like, ‘This has to go on the album.’ And he was like, ‘No, no, no. That’s, like, my language to you and I don’t know if I feel comfortable putting it out there.’ It was this weird role reversal where I was like, ‘No, no, people should hear that song,’ and it’s on their record.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Frank Carter has postponed the first week of the Frank Carter And The Rattlesnakes US tour after being involved in a serious car accident.
The 35-year-old frontman and his friend were in a horrific crash last Thursday (19.09.19) in Devon, south west England, which left Frank with “some cuts and scrapes, a kneecap in the wrong place” and “bruised ribs”, whilst his friend suffered much serious injuries.
After spending the night in Derriford A&E in Plymouth, Frank was discharged the following morning (20.09.19).
However, doctors advised the ‘Spray Paint Love’ singer not to fly whilst he recovers from his injuries and, as a result, the shows scheduled to take place between September 23 and September 29 have been axed.
Frank admitted they were “lucky to be alive” and he is hoping to be “well enough to play the rest of the tour”.
Their next date is ‘The Monster Energy Outbreak Tour Presents Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes’ show on October 8 in Vancouver, Canada.
Alongside a picture showing the extent of the damage caused to the cars involved in the smash, Frank wrote on Instagram: “IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE UPCOMING NORTH AMERICAN TOUR. THE FIRST WEEK OF DATES IS POSTPONED.
“On Thursday night at 7:20pm I was involved in a serious car accident in Devon, UK. I crawled out of the wreck with some cuts and scrapes, a kneecap in the wrong place, bruised ribs and a headache that won’t go away.
“My friend Pete was less fortunate, he was cut from the wreckage by no less than eleven firefighters with a triple fractured pelvis, ruptured spleen, multiple broken ribs and the kind of cuts and bruises you get from being hit by a car.
“We were all taken by ambulance to Derriford A&E where I stayed until 7:30am the next morning when I was finally released with a collection of minor injuries and a new appreciation of living.
“I have unfortunately been told I am unable to fly while my body recovers.
“As it stands the first week of our American tour will not proceed as planned.
“We looked at all the ways I could come and play the shows but once the doctor had seen me it was clear flying to New York this weekend was not an option.
“We will do everything in our power to make it up to you and are reviewing all the options including rescheduling.
“Due to the last minute nature of this situation we are not able to give news on when these might be rescheduled but please trust us in that we are working on it and will have an update soon.
“We are truly sorry to the fans who bought tickets and to the legends The Beaches who are driving to New York as I write this. “Check the venue websites for more information on refunds or new dates.

OHMYGOSSIP — Halsey has announced the ‘Manic World Tour’ for 2020.
The ‘Without Me’ hitmaker will kick off the arena run in support of her album of the same name in Madrid, Spain, on February 6, and play several shows throughout Europe, before kicking off the UK and Ireland leg in Glasgow on March 7 and heading to London, Dublin and Manchester.
Indie pop rockers Pale Waves will support the US pop star for part of the tour.
Halsey recently described ‘Manic’ as her “angry album”.
The ’11 Minutes’ singer will release her third LP – the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Hopeless Fountain Kingdom’ – on January 17, and revealed that she didn’t go into the writing process feeling “mad”, but ended up recording some pretty angsty lyrics.
She said of the track ‘Graveyard’: “Yeah, it’s very human. A lot of those sounds are super organic.
“It’s a lot of people sounds … it’s skin, you hear skin, you can tell there’s people making it.”
And on how ‘Without Me’ differs from the new material, Halsey said: “I sat there to make this album and I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m going to make an angry album.’
“And I wasn’t mad. It’s exciting … I’m closing a chapter in this record that I feel very much like I needed to put the final word on, put the nail in the coffin, if you will. ‘Graveyard’, marry it.”
The ‘Bad at Love’ hitmaker also admitted it was “kind of scary” writing ‘Without Me’.
She explained: “‘Without Me’ is this like blind declaration of love.
“In some ways it’s a metaphor.
“It’s about like loving someone to death, kind of.
“And then in other ways it’s actually pretty literal.
“There’s a lot of moments in the song that are pretty literal, which was kind of scary to write about. But you know me, I find the scary thing and I do it.”
Although Halsey had planned to write more about the world around her on the new record, she recently admitted that it didn’t work and she is more comfortable writing about the world through the lens of her own experiences.
She explained: “I sat down to write this album and I was like, ‘Alright, time to stop talking about yourself and start looking at the world around you!’ And then I got two songs in and I was like, ‘Uh, I only know how to talk about myself.’ Because I don’t know anything as well as I know me, so I can’t write anything as true to f**king Halsey than when I’m writing about myself.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelsea Ballerini wants to get “weird” on one of the songs on her next album.
The ‘I Hate Love Songs’ hitmaker is planning to release her follow-up to 2017’s ‘Unapologetically’ next spring, and whilst the “first 10” tracks will be “mainstream”, she wants to create a song that would never get played on radio and “play” around with her style.
Asked when fans can expect the album in an interview with the latest issue of Music Week magazine, Kelsea said: “Next year, spring. We don’t have a date yet.”
And on how many songs are ready to go , she replied: “Ten songs. The first 10 songs are the ones that are singles or that feel mainstream and good for radio.
“I want to get those all mixed and mastered and then be like, ‘OK, I want to do a weird song and a song that is going to crush live but will never be a radio single. I can play with the rest of it!”
The country pop star wanted to move away from making a concept record like her last studio effort, and instead create something that fans have to “figure out” for themselves.
The 26-year-old star also teased that there are two collaborations on the LP which features strings and horns.
She explained: “So far on this record, there’s just a lot going on.
“I mean, ‘Homecoming Queen?’s a tell of that, there’s a lot more country.
“There’s also a lot more country pop.
“We have a song with horns, we have a song with a string quartet. “We have two collaborations.
‘Unapologetically’ was a concept record – top to bottom, if you listened to it, it told a story.
“This is opposite of that. It’s quite liberating – this one’s just like, ‘Here you go, try and figure this out!'”

OHMYGOSSIP — KISS will headline Download Festival for the last time in 2020.
The ‘Rock and Roll All Nite’ group, who embarked on their final ‘End of the Road World Tour’ in January, will rock Donington Park’s main stage one last time on June 12.
Frontman Gene Simmons said: “I’ve said it before, Download Festival audiences are the best.
“They are up for whatever is thrown at them.
“KISS is going to come fully prepared to rock their world in 2020 to say Thank You for always showing up for us.”
Whilst guitarist Paul Stanley promised to bid farewell in spectacular style to thank their UK fans for supporting them for more than four decades.
He added: “Download will be the culmination of 47 years of unapologetic bombast and spectacle.
“We will make this a fitting farewell to a country and its people whose music remains the blood in our veins.”
Iron Maiden and System of a Down join KISS as the headliners for next year.
Bruce Dickinson and co will top the bill on June 13 and the ‘Chop Suey! rockers will close the festival in Leicestershire, East Midlands, on June 14.
Bruce teased that they will be sure to “add a few extra items to the show”.
He said: “Next year we will play a number of countries and cities we have yet to visit on this incredible tour, so it is terrific to be able to accept the invitation to return to Download in 2020 and we will certainly go to town and add a few extra items to the show.
“This will be our seventh time headlining at Donington Park.
“It’s home turf and we all really enjoy playing this Festival, the vibe from the crowd is always fantastic.”
Whilst System’s Shavo Odadjian, added: “From our appearances to many of my favourite bands’, Castle Donington has always had a special place in my heart. We’re proud and excited to continue its legacy.”
Download will also see performances from the likes of Deftones, The Offspring, KoRn, Disturbed, Alestorm, Gojira, Black Veil Brides, Of Mice and Men and Daughtry, with more names to be confirmed in the coming months.
Download Festival’s booker Andy Copping said: “Downloaders, your 2020 headliners are here! OHMYGOSSIP — Tove Lo says quitting cigarettes and cutting down on cannabis has “really helped” her singing career.
The 31-year-old star underwent an operation on her vocal cords in 2015, after which she had to make numerous lifestyle changes following medical advice, including smoking weed less.
She told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “I needed to cut down. Of course I quit smoking cigarettes completely and stopped smoking weed as much.
“But my doctor was like, ‘You can’t have a schedule like this, you can’t do 15 interviews then a show, or a show on the same day as flying.’
“I changed a few things and that’s really helped.”
Tove recently released her fourth studio album, ‘Sunshine Kitty’, and has now set her sights on penning the soundtrack to a “coming-of-age” drama movie, because, emotionally, she still feels like a teenager.
She added to the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “It would be so cool to write the music for a drama, with humour, like a coming-of-age story with dreams getting crushed and awkward love.
“Things that feel like, ‘Ah we are all going to die now and the world is over’ because you spilt a glass of milk over the person you’re in love with kind of thing.
“I feel like your emotions are so intense at the time you are a teenager and then your emotions are supposed to calm down but they never did for me.”
The Swedish pop star recently admitted she struggled being in the spotlight for many years.
She said: “I didn’t feel at home in the life of being an artist.
“Being a person in the public eye, and being a person that someone has opinions about in general.
“Getting used to being away from my family and my friends and them being used to it, and being worried about my voice.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Maren Morris’ second album has a “more worldly view”.
The ‘Seeing Blind’ hitmaker recently unveiled her second LP, ‘Girl’, and she says it is less “selfish” and there is “a lot more love” on it than her first effort.
She said: “I’m a little bit older; I’m married. I’m approaching my 30s, so it’s more worldly views than a selfish view. A lot more love in the second album.”
The 29-year-old singer decided to call her album ‘Girl’ because she wanted to reference the gender imbalance in the country music industry.
She added: “It was reflective of the time of how women don’t fit in the same mould as the industry puts us into so I chose to name the album ‘Girl’ due to the criticism.”
And Maren is “honoured” to have received the most nominations at the Country Music Awards as it makes her feel like her “community in Nashville” loves her.
She told the Des Moines Register: “I’m honoured [to be nominated]. It makes me feel like my community in Nashville loves what I’m doing there. However the chip falls at the show; I’m going to be celebrating at the after-party.”
The Grammy winner had previously opened up about the lack of “popular” female artists getting airplay on the radio.
She added: “As a woman in this industry, I wish that radio would come into this century and honour the the songs that are actually popular. I was looking at the country radio chart in the US and, for the first time in 20 years, there were no women in the top 30.
“Then I took a closer look at all the dudes and the titles of their songs, and the word ‘girl’ was used in more songs than there were actual girls on the chart. So I was like, ‘I’m gonna name this album, ‘GIRL’; and [the song] ‘GIRL’ is going to be my first single.’ Just to put a middle finger up to that statistic. And ironically, in the States, on the country chart, ‘GIRL’ has been my fastest-rising single.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher has wished himself a happy birthday.
The 47-year-old rocker took to Twitter on Saturday (21.09.19) to pass on his best wishes to himself.
The former Oasis frontman – who remains involved in a long-running feud with his old brother and former bandmate Noel Gallagher – wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME I LOOK LIKE A COOL **** EVEN WHEN IM OUT MY TREE X (sic)”
Liam – who recently released his second solo album, ‘Why Me? Why Not.’ – seemingly had an enjoyable birthday, as he celebrated his beloved Manchester City beating Watford by an eye-watering 8-0 scoreline.
He later wrote: “8 f***ing 0 c’mon you know (sic)”
Meanwhile, Liam recently teased a return to Knebworth in 2020.
Oasis played two of the biggest shows in British music history at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire, where they attracted a total of 250,000 fans across two nights in 1996 – and Liam is keen to return to the venue next year.
He said: “It could be good, man. We’ve done quite … not been big or anything, but we’ve done lots.
“In London on the last album, we saw famous people who maybe want a party. I think it’s doable, I just don’t want to go … now listen, it might all go t**s up tomorrow, you know what I mean. Just so who knows but … don’t be getting ahead of yourself … but I do really.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne thinks Louis Tomlinson was a fashion “diva” during their time in One Direction.
The 26-year-old singer – who remains close friends with Louis – has explained that each member of the chart-topping band developed their own specific style quirks during the peak of their success.
Liam recalled: “I was the lumberjack. I can’t remember what Zayn’s thing was, but Louis’ was always stripes.
“Louis had a number of things actually, he was a proper diva about it, like, he had stripes, he had them suspender-type things or whatever they’re called … […] braces.
“So everybody had their little thing and so if you started going into someone else’s thing it was like fighting with your sister about whether or not …
“‘I was gonna wear that tonight’ ‘no! I De-de-de and whatever’ so then I was just like ‘right, no stripes’ and then I just never wore stripes and I was the lumberjack!”
Liam also admitted that the band – which also featured Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan – faced pressure from their management to project a particular image of themselves.
He told Capital FM: “There’s this one picture of us all stood in like a news-agents in onesies, just like the weirdest guys ever.
“The funniest bit about that story was the people who managed us on the show were looking after Westlife at the same time and they hauled us in a boardroom and they were like ‘you can’t wear those, you look ridiculous, Westlife wouldn’t do it.’
“The next day, Westlife were in four onesies. We were like, ‘Are you sure?'”
