OHMYGOSSIP — Stormzy is dreaming of a collaboration with Jay Z and Beyonce.
The ‘Big for Your Boots’ hitmaker had “the greatest conversation” of his life with the pair and is desperate to work with them after getting the chance to meet them.
He told Q magazine: “It was the greatest conversation of my life. One day I’ll reveal it. One day we’ll talk about it. It’s what I started my Glasto performance with, a clip of it.”
Stormzy admits that he is unsure if he will get the opportunity to work with them, suggesting that they are “very busy people”.
When asked about the possibility of them working together, Stormzy said: “I’m don’t know about that. They’re very busy people. But God willing.”
The 26-year-old featured a snippet from the conversation with Jay Z when he headlined the Glastonbury festival earlier this year.
Before the performance, Jay Z, 49, could be heard telling Stormzy about the importance of culture.
He was heard saying: “It’s important for you to take that and say, ‘Okay, how can I create a culture around this whole thing?’ Because culture moves the whole world.”
Stormzy also thanked Jay Z in an Instagram post after the performance.
He said: “I got to open my set with words of encouragement from my hero and ultimate inspiration and the greatest rapper to ever grace planet Earth, Jay Z.”
Meanwhile, Stormzy also admitted that the performance at Glastonbury felt like the “big finale” to his career.
He explained: “I thought my first album was everything, but with Glasto, that felt like the absolute summary and epitome of everything.
“It felt like the defining moment of my career. It felt like everything I stand for, all my music, every moment, everything, all in one performance. It felt it was like my big finale.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Camila Cabello says the “most magical moments” of songwriting is when she doesn’t “try”.
The ‘Liar’ hitmaker used to go into the studio completely prepared to write hit music but now she takes a much more relaxed approach to it all.
She said: “With my first album, I would come to the studio super overly prepared, with every lyric of the song written before I went into the studio and ten concepts and titles for songs that I wanted to write that day. [But] with songwriting, the most magical moments are the ones where you’re not trying at all.”
Whilst Camila would likely to try anything in the studio to get the perfect song, there is one thing she won’t do in her tracks – swear – because she is always thinking of her 12-year-old sister, Sofia.
She said: “I remember being [Sofia’s age] and how much Taylor [Swift] meant to me. I definitely don’t feel like I have to super alter my personality to feel like I’m a good example for younger girls, but at the same time, I am conscious of it. I haven’t sworn in any of any songs.”
The ‘Havana’ hitmaker was 15 when she auditioned for ‘The X Factor USA’, leading to a spot in girl band Fifth Harmony, and she admitted even when she tried out she wasn’t convinced she had the talent she needed to make it big.
She added: “I always knew that I could kind of sing, but I didn’t know if I was actually good at it. As I grew up I would sing in the YMCA and people would be like, ‘Oh, my god, you’re a good singer,’ but I didn’t really know. I think ‘X Factor’ was the first time I thought, ‘Okay, so everybody’s not lying.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Christine and the Queens’ Chris admits touring helped her get over the death of her mother.
The singer – whose real name is Heloise Letissier – admits that performing became “cathartic” after her mother passed away in April.
Speaking to Q magazine, Chris said: “That tour was the most cathartic thing I ever did but also it was a good album to perform at that moment, I was like, ‘Thank God, I wrote that kind of a record.’ Songs like Doesn’t Matter become purely cathartic.
“Also, the album has a bit about it. It’s nice to perform ‘Girlfriend’ when you feel like s**t, because it makes you feel a bit better.”
Chris, 31, previously suggested that she had an “urgent and great” need to perform after her mother’s death.
She said: “Personally, for me, it was an intense year. I lost my mum. Then the stage became a safe place… even more intensely.”
Meanwhile, Chris previously admitted that she was “afraid” of being seen as a role model.
She said: “I have always been wary of that title.
“Some artists were a hint for me. When I was really young, I saw ‘Life On Mars’ by David Bowie and realised that maybe there are ways to be in the world that are different. I like that idea way more than being a role model. I’m afraid of role models.”
Chris also admitted that she is uncomfortable with being a celebrity.
She admitted: “I see people with their phones out, checking who’s the next most famous person to hang out with. To me, it feels like high school all over again.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Martin paid his children to appear on his new album.
The Coldplay frontman and his band have just released their new album ‘Everyday Life’, which features his kids – Apple, 15, and Moses, 13 – and he has revealed he asked them if they wanted to appear rather than the other way around.
Speaking about how his kids got involved, he told The Sunday Times newspaper’s Culture magazine: “I asked them. Gosh, no. And I pay them, proper fees like everyone. And they are allowed to say no.”
There is one track on the album called ‘Daddy’, which Chris admits has some influence from being a father himself as well as other meanings.
He added: “OK. I don’t like explaining songs. However, that came from three places. First, I have many people in my life whose dads f***** off, which is sad and confusing and, if you empathise as a dad, you wonder, what was he feeling that he thought that would be best? Second, I have kids, and I have to leave all the time.
“Third, and most important, [that song was] written after learning about the prison industrial complex in America; the outright racism woven into so many laws, and kids who, as a result, are denied their fathers. The world is in such a way that you can no longer just sit back with your creature comforts and ignore the rest of it.”
Meanwhile, Chris had previously admitted he penned a lot of “personal” lyrics.
He said: “Some of it is very ­personal, about real things in my life, and some is about things I see or we see, and some of it’s about trying to empathise with what ­others are going through.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift led the winners at Sunday’s (24.11.19) American Music Awards, taking home six awards.
The 29-year-old star was honoured with the prestigious Artist of the Decade and Artist of the Year accolades, as well as Favorite Artist – Adult Contemporary, Favorite album – Pop/Rock for ‘Lover’, Favorite Music Video for ‘You Need to Calm Down’, and Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock.
And Taylor’s haul meant she smashed the late Michael Jackson’s record of 24 wins throughout his career at the ceremony, with her total reaching 29.
As she picked up her final awards of the night, Artist of the Year and Favorite Album, Taylor reflected on the “complicated” year she’s had, with lots of ups and downs.
Speaking on stage at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theatre, she said: “The last year of my life has had some of the most amazing times and also some of the hardest things I’ve gone through in my life and not a lot of them are things that haven’t been public.
“And I wanted to thank you so much for being the thing that has been a constant in my life.
“Like, this industry is really weird. You feel like your stock is either up or down and people either like you or they don’t or you’re feeling bad about yourself. But the people that hang in there for you are the ones that you will never forget.
“This year for me has been a lot. It’s been a lot of good, a lot of really complicated. And so on behalf of my family and me, thank you so much for being there and for caring.”
Elsewhere at the ceremony, Khalid won three awards, while there were two wins apiece for Billie Eilish, Carrie Underwood and Dan + Shay.
BTS also scooped three prizes but were unable to attend, but they sent in a recorded message thanking fans for voting for them to win Favorite Duo or Group – Pop/Rock, Tour of the Year, and Favorite Social Artist.
They said: “Thank you so much. We are really honored to receive such an important and meaningful award.
“BTS has been a group for six and a half years and, throughout those years, we’ve had so many of our dreams somehow manifest into reality and Army, you guys are the ones who make all this possible and we really couldn’t have done it without your love and support from all over the world.
“We will try our best to live up to it, to strive high and work hard and return your love back to you.”
The evening was hosted by Ciara, while performers included Lizzo, Green Day, Halsey, Kesha and Toni Braxton, who returned to the ceremony to give her first performance since 2001. Taylor also marked her Artist of the Decade win with a medley of her hits.

OHMYGOSSIP — Toni Braxton stole the show at Sunday’s (24.11.19) American Music Awards with her first performance at the bash in 25 years.
The 52-year-old R&B singer – who last performed at the ceremony in 2001 – took the star-studded audience at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on a trip down memory lane, as she belted out her 1996 hit ‘Un-Break My Heart’.
Toni looked angelic in a silvery sheer gown – which was not so dissimilar from the dress she wore to the ceremony in 1994 – and was surrounded by violinists in white suits, as a wintry scene was displayed as the backdrop.
After the show, Toni took to Twitter to admit it felt “good to be home”.
Elsewhere, Lizzo made her debut at the AMAs in style.
The ‘Juice’ hitmaker was introduced on stage by US TV personality and model Tyra Banks, who hailed the 31-year-old star for her “uniqueness”.
She said: “My passion has always been to show beauty in all its uniqueness.
“Beauty is not one-dimensional.
“Beauty is the land of ‘and.’
“It is cool and crazy and thick and unexpected and authentic.
“And our next performer, turns out she is a hundred percent that boss we are all obsessed with!”
Lizzo – who rocked a red ruffle gown – then showed off her full range with her performance of heartbreak ballad ‘Jerome’, which saw the room light up with smartphones.
Billie Eilish also made her debut with a show-stopping performance of ‘All the Good Girls Go to Hell’ introduced by Tyler, the Creator.
The evening also saw performances from several female artists, including Taylor Swift, Camila Cabello, Dua Lipa, Kesha and Selena Gomez.
The latter performed live for the first time in two years, and opened the show with a heartfelt rendition of ‘Lose You To Love Me’.
The theatre was transformed into black and white as the brunette beauty stepped out with just her microphone.
Selena then swapped her floor-length black gown for a glittering playsuit, as she transitioned into an energetic dance routine for the upbeat number ‘Look At Her Now’, which had her pals Taylor Swift and Halsey off their seats and dancing along in the crowd.
Meanwhile, Shania Twain brought the house down with a medley of her greatest hits: ‘Still The One’, ‘Any Man of Mine’, ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’, and ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman.’

OHMYGOSSIP — Little Mix will make their headline debut at American Express presents BST Hyde Park 2020.
The ‘Woman Like Me’ hitmakers – comprised of Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – last performed at the summer festival series held at London’s Hyde Park in 2014, when they supported Sir Tom Jones, but this time they will be closing the event on July 4, 2020.
The girls – who recently wrapped up their ‘LM5 Tour’, which spanned 40 shows – said: “We’re so excited to perform at BST Hyde Park.
“It’s such a massive gig with a huge crowd, so it’s definitely going to be one of our 2020 highlights.
“We’ve been to see acts at BST before and it’s always such a party atmosphere. We’ll be bringing that to our set next year for sure!”
The Hyde Park gig will be part of their summer 2020 tour dates, which they teased in a video announcement on Twitter.
Jesy said: “We have some huge news that we are so excited about, that we want to share with you guys.
“We are heading back on the road next year for our summer 2020 tour. This will include a date playing the legendary American Express Presents BST Hyde Park in London.”
Leigh-Anne added: “Tickets go on sale on Thursday the 28th – get your tickets guys!”
More artists for British Summer Time Hyde Park are set to be announced in due course.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ozzy Osbourne performed on a white throne with Post Malone and Travis Scott at Sunday’s (24.11.19) American Music Awards.
The former Black Sabbath frontman made his second only live performance at the bash, which was held at The Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, since he was forced to cancel his ‘No More Tours 2’ shows, after being hospitalised with pneumonia and then suffering a fall in January, which caused the metal rods in his body – which were inserted after a devastating quad bike accident in 2003 – to become dislodged.
Ozzy performed his vocals from his hit single ‘Take What You Want’ from Malone’s LP ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ with special guest Travis.
Last week, the ‘Paranoid’ rocker performed the collaboration – which he credits with inspiring him to get back into the studio to record his upcoming solo album ‘Ordinary Man’ – with Malone at the rapper’s show at The Forum in Los Angeles.
The 70-year-old music legend – who is also known as The Prince of Darkness – previously had to push back the UK and European ‘No More Tours 2’ shows, which were originally planned for this year, after his battle with ill-health.
The rescheduled concerts were due to take place from January 2020 through to March 2020, but last month, Ozzy announced that he needed more time to recover from the surgery he underwent after his fall.
Ozzy’s new dates now kick off in Newcastle on October 23, before wrapping on December 7 in Helsinki, Finland.
He said in a statement: “I can’t wait to get off my ass and get going again, but you’re just going to have to be a bit more patient. I want to be 100% ready to come out and knock your f***ing socks off. I’m not retiring, I’ve still got gigs to do and also there’s a new album on the way. To the fans, I sincerely thank you for your patience, your loyalty, I love you.”
The ‘Crazy Train’ hitmaker will still be supported by his heavy metal pals Judas Priest – who are celebrating their 50th anniversary on the road.

OHMYGOSSIP — Emily Eavis has added to speculation that Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar are set to headline Glastonbury next year.
Both artists have been tipped to play the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm for its 50th anniversary event in 2020, and on Monday morning (25.11.19), the festival’s co-organiser teased that the final two headliners have never played the music extravaganza before and that one is female and the other male, leading many to believe that the ‘You Need To Calm Down’ hitmaker and US hip-hop superstar could be joining Sir Paul McCartney in Somerset next June, as both have never graced a stage at Glastonbury before.
Emily – who curates the line-up with her father Michael Eavis – told ‘The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show’ on BBC Radio 2: “Interestingly, for the other two headliners it’s their first time at Glastonbury and we’ve got one male and one female – so there’s a couple of clues there. I’m sure people will guess, so don’t put them to me!”
On when the second headliner will be announced, Emily teased that it could be “this side of Christmas”.
And the rest of the line-up will be unveiled early next year, as she added that “everyone needs their moment”.
So far, McCartney has been confirmed as the closing act for Saturday, June 27, 2020.
Emily commented: “It’s amazing having him back. It’s the ultimate way to celebrate.”
Responding to an announcement on the festival’s official Twitter page last Monday (18.11.19), the ‘Hey Jude’ hitmaker replied: “Hey Glasto – excited to be part of your anniversary celebrations. See ya next summer!”
The 77-year-old Beatles legend had hinted at the news earlier that day, as he shared a cryptic riddle on social media.
He tweeted an image of composer Philip Glass, actress Emma Stone and rock ‘n’ roll pioneer Chuck Berry, with the surnames combining as ‘Glass-Stone-Berry”.
Now, it’s official and the legendary star will be returning to the festival for the first time since 2004, when he topped the bill alongside fellow headliners Muse and Oasis.
Glastonbury will also see Diana Ross play the Sunday afternoon’s Legend’s slot on June 28.

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Martin is quite happy for Robbie Williams to beat Coldplay to this year’s UK Christmas number one.
The ‘Yellow’ hitmakers’ latest LP ‘Everyday Life’ and the ‘Angels’ singer’s festive record ‘The Christmas Present’ are both in the running for 2019’s final No1 album, but frontman Chris has admitted they are not interested in the commercial side of the music business anymore, and would be “cool” with the former Take That star taking the top spot after he admitted he would be “crushed” if he didn’t get it.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column, he said: “Robbie ­Williams, we don’t mind. Honestly, we’re cool with that.
“He can have it, all power to Robbie. Really, he was around first, too.”
All seven of Coldplay’s albums have reached the top spot, while Robbie has hit number one with his last four albums.”
On not concerning themselves with the charts anymore, Chris added: “I don’t even think about commercialism and those sorts of words any more.
“We’ve done all that.”
Meanwhile, the 42-year-old singer and his bandmates recently announced they will not be touring their new album until it’s environmentally friendly to do so, whilst ‘Everyday Life’ is one of their most political records to date.
And Chris has admitted that he no longer cares what other people think about their choice of subject matter and insisted that going forward, they will release whatever feels right to them, even if it’s not to everyone’s taste.
He continued: “Now it’s all about what comes through, and what feels right. If it feels right for us, we’ll do it. Simple as that.
“This is probably the most overtly political album we’ve released but you know what? I now think, ‘F*** it, man, if it feels right we’re going to do it.’ ”
The ‘Hymn For The Weekend’ singer also admitted that he has banned himself from using the internet because he doesn’t want to know what critics and fans alike think of their latest release.
He said: “I don’t know how the album has gone down at all, and honestly I really don’t want to know. Please don’t tell me.
“I haven’t looked at any of the response or reaction.
“Normally I’m on websites every day checking the latest music news so it’s rare for me not to be, but I have no idea what is going on at the moment.
“I just have to stay off everything. It’s because if you feel like you’re on a mission and you’re focused, you don’t want to be thrown off course by something you read.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX is planning on making two records next year.
The ‘Gone’ hitmaker recently revealed she is working on her fourth studio album – the follow-up to this year’s critically-acclaimed self-titled LP ‘Charli’ – and now she has admitted she is feeling so “inspired” that she’d like to at least make or possibly put out two records in 2020.
She tweeted: “i think i want to release 2 albums next year… or at least MAKE 2 albums next year and then if one has to come out early 2021 that’s ok too. i feel very inspired at the moment. (sic)”
The 27-year-old singer told fans last month that there will not be a deluxe version of the record coming anytime soon because she is too busy making her next album.
She wrote on Twitter: “Yesterday Charli was 1 month old!!!! Thank u for all the love for this album. If there was a deluxe version the cover would probs be something like this- lol (there isn’t a deluxe, I’m already making the next one tbh). Anyways… stream Charli! (sic)”
Things didn’t go smoothly with Charli’s third album – the follow-up to 2014’s ‘Sucker’ – as some of the record leaked online in 2017, resulting in her re-writing it entirely.
Charli recently admitted the leak had “really affected” her.
She said: “You say a few songs here and there, it was all my songs ever made.”
However, the ‘I Love It’ hitmaker can understand why her fans would do it – but it made her feel like she had no ownership over her own music.
She added: “They feel they just want the music and that leaking it is helping me.
“I didn’t really talk about it because I didn’t want to encourage more of it, but you know, having your work stolen is really sad.
“It made me feel like I didn’t own it anymore.
“I think it really affected me quite a lot.”
‘Charli’ featured collaborations with the likes of Lizzo (‘Blame It On Your Love’), Christine and the Queens (‘Gone’), Haim (‘Warm’) and two with Troye Sivan (‘1999’ and ‘2099’).

OHMYGOSSIP — Eric Clapton has announced a tribute show in honour of Ginger Baker.
The ‘Wonderful Tonight’ star is set to recognise the life and career of the late musician – who died last month after years of illness aged 80 – with a special charity concert early next year.
The emotional performance will take place at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on February 17, with proceeds going to the Leonard Cheshire charity.
No artists have been announced besides Eric himself, but tickets are set to go on sale on Friday (29.11.19).
Drummer Ginger found fame in the 1960s alongside Eric and their bandmate Jack Bruce as part of Cream, and last month it was revealed he had passed away “peacefully” in hospital.
The family wrote on his official account at the time: “We are very sad to say that Ginger has passed away peacefully in hospital this morning. Thank you to everyone for your kind words over the past weeks.”
Beatles legend Paul McCartney led the tributes to Ginger, writing: “Ginger Baker, great drummer, wild and lovely guy. We worked together on the ‘Band on the Run’ album in his ARC Studio, Lagos, Nigeria. Sad to hear that he died but the memories never will. X Paul (sic)”
Whilst filmmaker Edgar Wright said of the legendary drummer: “RIP the music giant that was Ginger Baker. The beat behind too many favourite songs from Cream, The Graham Bond Organisation and Alexis Corner’s Blues Incorporated. (sic)”
Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp wrote: “RIP the great Ginger Baker. The reason so many drummers wanted a double-bass drum. #GingerBaker (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Foals and Lewis Capaldi are among the headliners for the Sounds of the City festival.
The ‘Black Bull’ hitmakers will take to the stage on the first night of the eight-day event, which will take place from July 1-11 2020, at Castlefield Bowl in Manchester, north west England.
After Foals’ headline slot on the Wednesday, Crowded House will headline the festival on the Thursday, July 2nd, followed by Kaiser Chiefs on the Friday.
Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott, whose slot had already been announced, will take to the stage on Saturday July 4th, before a break until Wednesday July 8th when Lewis will belt out his tunes.
DMA’s and The Streets will then take to the stage on the July 9th and 10th respectively, before Hacienda Classical close the extravaganza on Saturday July 11th.
Foals wrote on Twitter: “MANCHESTER! We’re coming to town for Sounds of the City at Castlefield Bowl on 1 July 2020. (sic)”
The band have plenty of material to perform are dropping two albums this year, ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1’ and ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 2’.
And frontman Yannis Philippakis recently admitted he penned tracks for both records in east London pubs so he could get a good look at the way society as a whole is feeling in such “bleak” times.
He said: “I would just be looking at a kind of microcosm of society.
“Writing in pubs kept me looking outward in a way where I don’t feel like I’ve done that before.
“Normally, I kind of get lost in myself and end up with lyrics that might be slightly more abstract.
“Whereas by writing in the pub, it was like, ‘I’m going to write about the invisible glue around us.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ezra Miller, Warwick Davis and Claudia Kim are among the stars from J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World to have recorded songs for a festive charity album.
A host of famous faces from the ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Fantastic Beasts’ movies, as well as the ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ stage production, have picked a holiday classic to feature on ‘A Magical Time of Year’, which will raise money for the author’s children’s charity, the Lumos Foundation.
Lumos ambassador Warwick Davis, who portrayed Professor Filius Flitwick, Griphook the goblin and other roles in the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise, said: “I had such fun singing ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’, a song I’ve loved since the original recording by Shakin’ Stevens. Through your support of this album, you’ll be helping Lumos make a real difference to the lives of children and families, and be adding a little magic to your holidays.”
Ezra, who plays Credence Barebone in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ series, has teamed up with his co-star Dan Fogler (Jacob Kowalski) for ‘Hanukkah Oh Hanukkah’, and also recorded a solo track, the album’s closer, ‘O Holy Night’.
Claudia, best known as Nagini in ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’, has recorded a version of ‘Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!’, and that, along with Warwick’s ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’ and ‘What Christmas Means to Me’ by Thomas Aldridge – who is currently playing Ron Weasley in the London production of ‘…the Cursed Child’ – are available to download now ahead of the release of the album on November 29.
Thomas appears again on the album as he and Michelle Gayle – his on-stage wife Hermione Granger – have recorded ‘What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve’ together.
Other tracks on the album include a version of ‘White Christmas’ by David Bradley, who played Hogwarts caretaker Argus Filtch in the ‘Harry Potter’ films and Alison Sudol’s (‘Fantastic Beasts’ Queenie Goldstein) take on ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’.
For every album sold, £1.20 will be donated to the Lumos Foundation to help orphans around the world.

OHMYGOSSIP — Anastacia, Gabrielle, Natasha Bedingfield and Atomic Kitten are set to play Mighty Hoopla 2020.
The ‘Left Outside Alone’ hitmaker, ‘Dreams’ singer, ‘Unwritten’ star and ‘Whole Again’ group are among the first wave of artists confirmed for the annual summer extravaganza, which will return to Brockwell Park in South London on June 6.
Anastacia fans can expect to hear all of the hits, from ‘I’m Outta Love’ to ‘Not That Kind’.
Atomic Kitten – now a duo comprised of Natasha Hamilton and Liz McClarnon – will get revellers in the spirit by opening the Big Top stage, and Gabrielle will belt out her back catalogue of hits, which will without doubt have the whole crowd singing-a-long.
Meanwhile, Natasha returned with her first album in nine years, ‘Roll with Me’, in August, and as well as her new material, her hit singles ‘Unwritten’ and ‘These Words’ are staples in her setlist and will also get the crowd belting out every word.
The above are joined on the bill by Scottish singer Jimmy Somerville, ‘It Feels So Good’ hitmaker Sonique, Canadian indie pop star Allie X, ‘HeyDJ/I Can’t Dance’ star Betty Boo.
Plus the London Gay Men’s Chorus and club crews Sink The Pink, Guilty Pleasures and The Grand will be helping everyone get into the party mood.
This summer’s festival saw more than 20,000 people in attendance to witness performances from the likes of Chaka Khan, All Saints, Bananarama, Kate Nash and Jamelia.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Weeknd has registered a new song titled ‘Like Selena’.
The new track appeared on ASCAP’s website under the rapper’s name, and looks set to be inspired by his relationship with ex-girfrliend Selena Gomez – whom the ‘Starboy’ hitmaker dated between January and October 2017.
On Monday evening (25.11.19), The Weeknd – whose real name is Abel Tesfaye – cryptically teased his next project.
Alongside a blurred grey image, he wrote on Instagram: “the fall starts tomorrow night. (sic)”
And on his Instagram Story, he captioned the same picture: “tomorrow night we start again. (sic)”
The ‘Earned It’ hitmaker is already expected to release the singles ‘Blinding Lights’ and a song called ‘Heartless’ imminently.
The tracks are taken from his fourth studio album – the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Starboy’ – which he has recently hinted is called ‘Chapter 6’.
Speaking to the crowd during his performance at the launch of HXOUSE in Toronto, Canada, recently, he simply said: “Chapter 6, coming soon.”
It’s believed The Weeknd also penned ‘My Dear Melancholy’ – which features on his 2018 EP of the same name – about his split from Selena.
His next studio effort could also be set to feature some more break-up ballads, as he broke up with on/off girlfriend Bella Hadid in August 2019.
However, the model’s mother Yolanda Hadid predicted last month that they could get back together again, because Abel is “still close to the family”.
She said: “I mean obviously Abel has been with our family since what, Bella’s 17 years old.
“You know what I mean? They’re still friends.
“He’s still close to the family and we don’t know what’s going to happen in 10 years from now.
“Now everybody has to focus on their career and try to, you know, do what they have to do and everybody’s friends!”
