OHMYGOSSIP — Manic Street Preachers frontman James Dean Bradfield has tested positive for COVID-19.
The band have been forced to postpone this weekend’s show at the Peterborough Embankment after the 53-year-old singer contracted the virus.
A new date has not yet been announced.
They shared on Instagram: “It is with huge disappointment that Manic Street Preachers have been forced to postpone their forthcoming headline show at Peterborough Embankment this Sunday (12 June) due to lead singer James Dean Bradfield contracting Covid. The band were due to play the riverside venue for the first time as part of their summer shows this year and hope to reschedule for as soon as possible.
“All ticket holders will be contacted by their point of sale within the next 48 hours, any queries please contact your original purchase box office.”
The band have a number of festival dates set for this summer, with shows planned at Suffolk’s Latitude on Sunday July 24, and at Y Not in Derbyshire on Friday July 29.
On Saturday August 13, the Manics will travel to Herefordshire to headline Lakefest.
They have also been supporting The Killers on their UK tour, with James calling the band “inspiring”.
He said: “It’s been great watching The Killers, watching a front man like Brandon Flowers still wanting it that much.
“For me it’s inspiring. Being further down the road in your career, to get up and just go on stage and just still want to absolutely own everything is quite inspiring – it is the secret of being in a band, you’ve still got to really want it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Elvis Costello has branded the Platinum Party at the Palace concert “s****” and singled out Sir Rod Stewart’s performance for particular criticism.
The ‘Oliver’s Army’ hitmaker was unimpressed by last weekend’s star-studded musical extravaganza – which featured performances from the likes of Queen, Diana Ross, George Ezra and Elbow – and mocked the ‘Maggie May’ singer for his widely-panned rendition of ‘Sweet Caroline’.
Speaking on stage in Glasgow, Elvis, 67, told the audience: “I was in Brighton the other night when the Jubilee was happening. But the show was good, wasn’t it? Wasn’t it? No, it was s****.
“I mean, I know you all love him and he’s one of yours and everything, but Rod. What the f***?
“I must say, listen we all have bad nights vocally, but for f*** sake, ‘Sweet f***ing Caroline’.
“Are you f***ing kidding me?
“I mean I’ve been in showbusiness 45 years so I do know a thing or two. How is it that nobody suggested Rod sing ‘You Wear It Well’?”
Elvis then joked Diana, who sang ‘Chain Reaction’, could have chosen other tracks from her back catalogue that would have been more appropriate.
He quipped: “Listen, Diana Ross had a whole playlist of songs that would have fitted the occasion: ‘You Keep Me Hanging On’, ‘I’m Living In Shame’. I’m not saying ‘Love Child’.
“You never heard it from me.”
Rod’s wife, Penny Lancaster, previously defended her husband and insisted it wasn’t his choice to sing the Neil Diamond classic.
She said: “The BBC said Rod we need you to sing ‘Sweet Caroline’, it’s the Queen’s favourite you have to do it so he didn’t have much of a choice.”
And it was “touch and go” as to whether the 77-year-old star would even perform after COVID-19 affected his voice.
Penny said: “It was very very touch and go and he was so nervous leading up to it and he was three weeks in Vegas and caught covid just after the last show, he came home and was past the ten day period of being contagious but he lost his voice.
“So the sound check on the Wednesday he went along and wore a mask but had no voice and he was like how long can I leave it?”
“So he went for another rehearsal on the Friday but his voice is there now but he wasn’t quite on, but he didn’t want to disappoint anybody. It wasn’t the Rod Stewart show it was for the nation and for everybody to come together for the Queen and he wanted to please the people so that was the song.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Katherine Jenkins almost suffered a royal fashion faux pas when she realised her Union Jack dress designed for Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday concert looked more like the French flag.
The opera star performed for the monarch at a special concert in the grounds of Windsor Castle in 2016 wearing a red white and blue gown designed by Suzanne Neville – but discovered at the last minute the dress had a major flaw.
Katherine told Britain’s HELLO! magazine there was a rush to fix the gown before she took to the stage, explaining: “I look back at that dress with great fondness and stress.
“I had an idea to make a dress especially for the occasion that looked like the Union Jack. When I went to the fitting the day before, the underneath of the cape was white and when I turned to the side, I realised it looked more like the French flag.”
The singer admitted they had to hunt down a real flag and have it sewn into the dress to make sure there was no confusion.
She added: “In the end, we hunted down the biggest British flag we would find and had it sent into the cape to be sure the correct country was honoured.”
Katherine has performed for the Queen on many occasions over the years and recalled the first time she met the monarch she was given an introduction by her late husband Prince Philip.
The singer revealed: “I remember meeting the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh in the line-up and him introducing me to Her Majesty as ‘the girl that sings at the rugby’.
“It doesn’t matter how many times I perform for her or meet her, whether it’s in front of thousands or just at a small dinner, I’ll never be blasé about it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Fender is to move to a “dancey” new sound in a bid to crack America.
The ‘Seventeen Going Under’ singer has teamed up with producer Markus Dravs – who has worked with the likes of Florence + the Machine, Bjork, Wolf Alice and Coldplay in the past – for his third album and hopes their sessions together will result in tracks that appeal to a US audience.
A source told the Sun on Sunday newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Sam has had a blinding few years in the UK and his next move is try to crack America.
“It’s no mean feat but with the right team around him he definitely has what it takes to knock their socks off.
“He has already mastered the melodic indie rock genre, but record label bosses are hoping his collab with Markus could add a different vibe to his sound and include some potential up-tempo dance hits.”
The news comes after Sam announced last month he had teamed up with music legends Bruce Springsteen, Sting, and Mark Knopfler for a charity project.
He said: “Sting occasionally FaceTimes us, weirdly I always end up being in the bath.
“We were in the studio the other day. I did a charity thing with him and Mark Knopfler.
I just did some guitar stuff, which was the most f***ing nerve-wracking thing ever.
“Going in to do a guitar take on a Mark Knopfler song — he’s one of the best guitarists ever. Springsteen’s on it as well.”
The 28-year-old singer admitted earlier this year he had set his sights on cracking America.
Asked what his goals for 2022 are, he said: “Write and record another record, tour that record. Go out to America, start doing stuff out there because we’ve not really scratched the surface of the States.
“It’s flying over here and it’s starting to fly in Europe.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Beverley Knight has always found performing as natural as breathing or eating.
The 49-year-old singer feels at home on the stage and “can’t imagine” never singing for other people again as she fell in love with it when she was just four years old.
She said: “Being on stage has always felt like home to me – it’s breathing, it’s eating, it’s fundamental.
“I can’t imagine going through life without performing and giving as much joy as I can.
“My first ever stage was the pulpit at church, when I must have been about four.
“I joined my mum and my older sister, who were up there singing – you couldn’t have kept me in my seat.”
Beverley has carved out a career on London’s West End in recent years and she is “so proud” to be part of such a famous part of the city’s history.
She added to Britain’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “London’s West End is world-leading for musical theatre and I’m so proud to be part of that rich heritage.
“Stepping into the shoes of Deloris Van Cartier in ‘Sister Act’ this summer is a privilege.
“Deloris is a slick-talking woman with an answer for everything – she’s got that Philadelphia swagger.
“When I’m visualising her I’m not just seeing Whoopi Goldberg, who was the trailblazer for the role, I’m also thinking of the dynamic disco divas of that era I want to channel, such as Diana Ross, Donna Summer, and Gloria Gaynor.”
And Beverley hopes theatregoers leave the production – which runs from 19 July to 28 August – feeling “uplifted”.
She said: “I want people to leave the theatre feeling uplifted, edified, and that life is just a bit brighter.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams is set to embark on a 25th anniversary arena tour.
The ‘Angels’ hitmaker announced last week that he’s set to mark the solo milestone by releasing the new orchestral album, ‘XXV’, and now he’s announced a string of arena shows in the UK and Ireland to continue the celebrations.
The run will commence with two consecutive nights at London’s The O2, kicking off on October 9.
The 48-year-old pop icon will then play Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin.
The former Take That star has recorded orchestral versions of his greatest hits with the Dutch jazz and pop orchestra, Metropole Orkest, to celebrate a quarter of a century since the release of his debut solo album, 1997’s ‘Life Thru A Lens’.
The ‘Rock DJ’ hitmaker posed naked on a statue for the album’s striking artwork, which is an interpretation of The Thinker by French sculptor Auguste Rodin, with just his arms and legs covering his manhood.
In a press release, Robbie said: “I’m so excited to announce my new album ‘XXV’ which celebrates many of my favourite songs from the past 25 years. Each track has a special place in my heart so it was a real thrill to record them again with the Metropole Orkest. Can’t wait for you all to hear it.”
The career-spanning collection includes the hits ‘Candy’, ‘Angels’, ‘Millennium’ and ‘Let Me Entertain You’.
The ‘Supreme’ hitmaker – who has Teddy, nine, Charlie, seven, Coco, three, and 17-month-old Beau with wife Ayda Field – had said he was planning to hit the road in support of the LP, however, he has admitted he doesn’t want to miss out on his young kids growing up, so he doesn’t want to tour extensively and go long periods without seeing his brood.
He said: “I’m planning to tour the album, but I’m also figuring out how to be a dad.
“I saw a documentary with an actor talking about how he didn’t see his kids grow up.
“I’ve been thinking about that an awful lot, especially coming out of COVID where I’ve had two-and-a-half years with my kids.”
‘XXV’ is released on September 9.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruce Dickinson wants Iron Maiden to replace him if he can no longer cope as their singer.
The 63-year-old frontman insisted ill health shouldn’t be a reason for the group to call it a day and he’d be happy to make occasional guest appearances, so long as he was allowed to approve his replacement.
He said: “We always tell the same joke when we get together – ‘Is everyone alive?’ We’ve always been honest with the fans.
“If tomorrow I don’t feel able to sing more than four songs a night, I’d like the guys to continue and I should be able to choose my replacement.
“I would stick my head in from time to time and the other singer would do the rest.
“When you look at Keith Richards, who suffers from arthritis, he’s not on top form every night but he’s supported by other guitarists. It’s the Rolling Stones.
“I don’t think it upsets anyone. In any case, everything I’ve said isn’t going to happen.”
But Bruce dismissed the idea of following Abba’s lead and using hologram replicas.
He told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “That’s hell on earth. I really don’t understand the point of it.”
The ‘Run to the Hills’ group’s latest album ‘Senjutsu’ recently topped the charts and Bruce admitted it’s vital for the band to keep creating new music.
He said: “Without new music, you become a karaoke group. There are some groups who don’t mind being that.
“But it’s out of the question for us. If you don’t create anything, people lose interest. You become a fossil. ‘Woah, a T-rex. Imagine when it had muscles!’
“I don’t want to become a skeleton in a museum and in any case, I have muscles and claws – and I bite.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Killers halted their concert to check on a 67-year-old crowd surfer.
Brandon Flowers and co made sure fan Billy was OK before continuing with their set at the Emirates Old Trafford stadium in Manchester on Saturday (11.06.22).
Frontman Brandon, 40, came off stage to meet the gig-goer, who said he was just “enjoying meself (sic)”.
The ‘When You Were Young’ rockers have had a number of crowd interactions on their tour in support of their albums ‘Pressure Machine’ and ‘Imploding The Mirage’.
Kyle Grieve, 28, got to play drums for the Las Vegas band at their Falkirk shows in Scotland earlier in the week, after holding up a sign with the request.
Brandon spotted the sign and said: “If you want to play on this stage, you have to mean business.”
Kyle came back for the second gig at Falkirk Stadium with another sign reading: “Tonight I mean business.”
And Brandon responded: “Let him come up.”
Meanwhile, Sam Fender supported The Killers at some of the shows and they haven’t ruled out collaborating with the ‘Seventeen Going Under’ hitmaker.
‘Run for Cover’ hitmaker Brandon previously revealed they are a huge fan of the North Shields star’s work and are open to working with the ‘Play God’ musician in the future.
He said ahead of the jaunt: “I still haven’t met him yet, but yeah we love what we’ve heard so far. That would be a fun little collaboration.”
The tour concludes with two nights at Dublin’s Malahide Castle in Ireland on Tuesday (14.06.22) and Wednesday (15.06.22).

OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Eilish halted her concert at The O2 to check on fans who were allegedly fainting from the heat.
The ‘Therefore I Am’ hitmaker noticed something wasn’t right and gave everyone a breather and made sure gig-goers were safe before carrying on with her set at the London arena on Saturday night (11.06.22).
She asked: “Are you all ok?”
She went on: “People were fainting and getting pulled out. It’s hot, I know.”
The show was paused for a few minutes before resuming.
She then said: “Take a step back, give everybody some space.”
The Grammy winner told her fans to make sure they look out for one another and tell someone if they feel unwell.
She said: “If someone looks a little woozy, just tell someone … Don’t try to save feelings.”
Thanking the security and staff at the venue, she said: “I appreciate you.”
Billie has paused a couple of her concerts to check on the safety of her audiences lately.
The 20-year-old singer was performing at Madison Square Garden in New York City in February when she urged the crowd to “sit down” if they needed to, and take a moment to compose themselves.
In footage shared by TMZ, she said: “If you want to sit down, you are allowed. Go ahead, sit down, take a breath.”
In the video, she also asked fans at the front to “take a step back and give everybody some room down here”.
The incident came after Billie stopped her show at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia earlier that month when she spotted an audience member struggling to breathe and appealed to her crew to get an inhaler for the female fan.
After the audience member was helped and Billie resumed the show, she said: “I wait for people to be OK until I keep going.”
The remark was seen as a diss at Travis, who continued performing at his Astroworld festival in November when people were being crushed in a crowd surge that left hundreds injured and 10 dead.

OHMYGOSSIP — BTS were “on the brink of mental exhaustion” before performing at the 2022 Grammys.
The K-Pop septet – comprising Jungkook, V, J-Hope, Jimin, Jin, RM and Suga – had members struck down with COVID-19 before their appearance at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in April to perform ‘Butter’, and had just a single day of rehearsals.
J-Hope told Weverse magazine: “After testing positive for COVID-19, it was only going to be possible to have exactly one day before the performance.
“I think making it to the Grammy Awards stage, under those circumstances, is what put me in the mindset I had for the performance.”
As well as J-Hope and Jungkook testing positive for COVID-19, Jin had injured his hand.
He continued: “The other members were on the brink of mental exhaustion at that point, to be honest.
“I knew there was no way I couldn’t be there.
“I kept telling myself I have to do this no matter what, went over on the plane, rehearsed on location, and somehow got it all together.”
He added: “It was a lot of pressure, psychologically speaking, as we were now at the Grammys and doing a performance similar to one we did shortly after we debuted. The idea behind the performance was for us to say, Let’s do this for them again. We can pull that kind of performance off at the Grammys. We’re BTS!”
J-Hope admitted it was disappointing not to be able to deliver the show he wanted.
He concluded: “I wanted to put on a good show so badly that I couldn’t tolerate even the slightest let-down.”
As well as members of the boy band testing positive for the virus, COVID-19 regulations almost saw the performance axed altogether.
Producer Ken Winston revealed recently: “There were times when we were worried they weren’t gonna be able to be here. J-Hope had COVID and was quarantined. And he wasn’t allowed to fly until Saturday, the day before the show, Jungkook was in Vegas with COVID, but then unless he got two negative tests, he wasn’t allowed to come. It was very tense. We were very nervous.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Ringo Starr has postponed the remainder of his North American summer tour, due to two positive COVID-19 tests in his All-Starr Band.
The former Beatles drummer has been forced to reschedule a number of shows after keyboard player Edgar Winter and guitarist Steve Lukather both caught coronavirus.
In a statement on his website, Ringo said: “We are so sorry to let the fans down.
“It’s been wonderful to be back out on the road and we have been having such a great time playing for you all. But as we all know, [COVID-19] is still here and despite being careful these things happen.”
The shows, including Easton, Providence, Baltimore, Lenox, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Richmond, Atlanta, St Augustine, Florida and Clearwater, will now take place in September, with dates to be confirmed.
The 81-year-old music legend concluded: “I want to thank the fans for their patience.
I send you all peace and love, and we can’t wait to be back in the Fall.”
Edgar had already missed out on three shows due to the virus.
Ringo’s statement came hours before they were due to play Easton, Pennsylvania on Saturday (11.06.22).
Meanwhile, Ringo was awarded an honorary doctorate from the Berklee College Of Music earlier this month.
The humble ‘Eleanor Rigby’ sticksman – who released his 20th solo album, ‘What’s My Name’, in 2019 – cannot get his head around being a doctor, because he just “hits” the drums.
In his acceptance speech, he said: “It’s far out, I don’t have a lot to say.
“The idea that I’m a doctor blows me away.
“You know, I just hit them.
“That’s all I do. I just hit the b*****s. And it seems to be, I hit them in the right place.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Aguilera reunited with Mya to perform ‘Lady Marmalade’ at LA Pride.
The 41-year-old pop megastar put on a spectacular performance for her LGBTQ+ fans at State Historic Park on Saturday (11.06.22), and as anticipated, she hosted a mini-reunion with the 42-year-old star to perform their 2001 mega-hit from the ‘Moulin Rouge!’ soundtrack, which they recorded with Pink, Lil’ Kim and Missy Elliott.
After the performance, Christina told Mya: “Thank you so much for doing this.
“Mya, ladies and gentleman.”
Meanwhile, Mya previously said she would love to see a drag queen rendition of ‘Lady Marmalade’.
The 42-year-old singer was hoping for the group to reunite to mark the 20th anniversary of their cover last year.
She said in 2020: “Lots of fans are coming to all the ladies and saying, ‘Is there going to be a reunion?’ Of course, we have to listen to the fans. But we haven’t had a full group conversation. We are constantly asked about it but I think it’s time . . . It’s as easy as a group chat.”
She added: “I’d like to celebrate the LGBTQ community with drag queens.
“You could have RuPaul, Amanda Lepore, Ultra Nate, Bianca Del Rio and the King of Vogue Dashaun Wesley could do Missy Elliott’s role. That would be amazing for me.”
Mya had said at the time: “Next year’s the 20th anniversary so I hope we have a reunion together.
“I’m sure we’ll get together and do something and I’m hoping it’ll be on stage or television, that’d be amazing.”
However, she dashed hopes of herself and the gang re-releasing it with a modern twist because they would need a major budget.
She explained: “I’m not sure how that would work to get four, well five because Missy Elliott was involved as well, that’s a lot of budget and we’re in different times and so are the labels.”
The popular track featured the famously suggestive French chorus of “Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?”, which translates to: “Do you want to sleep with me?”
It spent five weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US, and was also a number one in the UK.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande brings her own toilet seat on tour, according to Roman Kemp.
The Capital FM radio host has claimed the pop megastar always requests a personal lavatory seat on her rider.
Speaking about the bizarre things artists request on their tour riders at Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard at Wembley Stadium on Saturday (13.06.22), Roman spilled: “I heard Ariana Grande brings her own toilet seat with her [on tour] and ArrDee wanted only the pink starbursts from the bag in a bowl.”
On her last tour, the ‘God is a Woman’ hitmaker was sick with bronchitis for four months.
Ariana embarked on the ‘Sweetener World Tour’ in 2019, and later revealed she was suffering from a nasty bout of the condition – which can cause a persistent cough, shortness of breath, wheezing, a low fever, and chest tightness – for almost half of the 10-month run.
She said last October: “I was sick for four out of 10 months on the ‘Sweetener’ tour, thankfully I only had to cancel one show or two…”
The 28-year-old singer played to over 1.3 million people across 97 concerts and had cameras follow her backstage as well as capture the performances of her biggest hits, such as ‘7 Rings’, ‘Side to Side’ and ‘No Tears Left to Cry’.
In December 2020, the pop megastar released the tour film, ‘excuse me, i love you’, as a “love letter” to her fans.
With a runtime of 1 hour 37 minutes, the Netflix flick captures some of the highlights of the tour.
Announcing the film on Instagram at the time, Ariana wrote: “dec 21st, a year after closing, the sweetener world tour is coming home to u @netflix @netflixfilm releasing this as a love letter to u all, in celebration of all that we’ve shared over the past few years. i know this project only captures some of one tour (out of all the other hundreds of shows and moments we have shared over the past six or seven years… jesus lol) but i just wanted to thank u all for showing me more in this lifetime already than i ever dreamed of. making music and doing all of this has been all i’ve known or fully given myself to consistently for a very long time now. although my heart is looking forward to a change of pace, i wanted to express again just how eternally thankful i am.

OHMYGOSSIP — Leigh-Anne Pinnock is writing and recording new tracks during a trip to Jamaica.
The Little Mix star – who has 10-month-old twins with her footballer fiance Andre Gray – is said to be working away on her debut album in the Caribbean after she signed a solo deal with Warner Records in February.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Obviously she’s enjoying some downtime but Leigh-Anne is keen to hit the ground running.”
Songwriter Tayla Parx, who has co-written for the likes of Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, and Christina Aguilera, and helped to pen Little Mix’s 2020 tune ‘Sweet Melody’, is also in Jamaica with Leigh-Anne.
The source added: “Some of the label team were with her as well as songwriters including Tayla Parx, who was behind one of Little Mix’s biggest hits ‘Sweet Melody’.
“No release dates have been set yet – it’s far too early for that – but the wheels are in motion.”
Tayla wrote on Twitter: “Studio sessions in Jamaica hit different”
Warner Records confirmed in February that Leigh-Anne – who shot to fame as a member of Little Mix when they won talent show ‘The X Factor’ in 2011 – had signed a deal with them.
An official announcement on the company’s UK Twitter account stated: “Delighted to welcome Leigh-Anne Pinnock to the Warner Records family! Sign up to her mailing list to hear about exciting news first!”
Last month, it was reported Leigh-Anne, 30, and Andre, also 30, could be set to tie the knot in Jamaica because of their “family ties to the island”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Melanie C and Mark Owen are set to play Radio 2 Live in Leeds.
BBC Radio 2’s annual festival, which is usually held at London’s Hyde Park, is taking place at Leeds’ Temple Newsam Park on September 17 and 18, and the impressive lineup has been unveiled.
Joining the Spice Girl and Take That star on the second night are; Nile Rodgers and Chic, George Ezra, Emeli Sandé, Heather Small and Olly Murs.
And on the Saturday, Simple Minds, Tears for Fears, Craig David, Bananarama, Ella Henderson, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Kaiser Chiefs will grace the stage.
Jeff Smith, Head of Music for Radio 2, said: “We’re so pleased to be announcing the stellar artist line up for Radio 2 Live, as our annual event spreads its wings for the first time across the UK. This year we will be in Leeds with two days of incredible music from an amazing line up of musicians. The lineup was announced on ‘The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show’ on Tuesday morning (14.06.22), and one more act for each day will be announced soon.
Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park hosted the biggest names in music over the years, including Sir Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Shania Twain, Take That and Blondie.
Radio 2 Live will be broadcast across the network and available live and on-demand on BBC Sounds and BBC iPlayer.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Cardigans appear to have teased their first new music in 17 years.
The ‘My Favourite Game’ hitmakers haven’t released anything since their 2005 album ‘Super Extra Gravity’, but that looks set to change after they shared a clip from a rehearsal room at the Inkonst in their native Sweden.
At the start of the video, bassist Magnus Sveningsson says: “Hey you guys, it’s me Magnus.
“We’re at Inkonst venue in Malmo and we’re gonna look behind this door, there might be something exciting.”
The camera then pans around the room to each instrument being played but does not show the faces of the musicians.
The indie group has favoured greatest hits shows, but frontwoman Nina Persson hasn’t ruled out making another album.
Speaking in 2014, she said: “It’s really fun to do greatest hits things, since there’s nothing else, but I think if we continue having this much fun we would like to make another record, because we like to create new things.”
The band formed in 1992 and rose to prominence with the hit ‘Lovefool’, which featured in the soundtrack to the 1996 film ‘Romeo + Juliet’.
They went on to have hits with ‘Erase/Rewind’ and ‘My Favourite Game’ from the acclaimed 1998 LP ‘Gran Turismo’.
The Cardigans went on hiatus in 2007 and reunited in 2011.
