OHMYGOSSIP — John Lennon’s son Julian feared he was “asking for trouble” by naming his new album ‘Jude’.
Julian’s latest release is a nod to Beatles track ‘Hey, Jude’ which Sir Paul McCartney wrote to console him after his parents John and Cynthia divorced in 1968, when he was just five years old.
The song was originally titled ‘Hey Jules’ – and the musician admits using ‘Jude’ for his new record is a controversial choice.
He told Mojo magazine: “Am I asking for trouble? Yes. Bring it on. I mean ‘Hey Jude’, it’s lovely having someone write a song about you and their hopes that you’re going to make it through this pile of s*** but people don’t realise that every time that song is played, and I have probably heard it more than most people, it’s a reminder of when my parents split up and it all went pear-shaped.”
Julian’s parents John and Cynthia divorced in 1968 after his dad was accused of being unfaithful with Yoko Ono, who he went on to marry in 1969.
John and Yoko later welcomed a son named Sean, a brother for Julian, in 1975.
During the interview Julian also revealed he has secretly changed his name by deed poll.
He was called John after his dad with his full name given as John Charles Julian Lennon, but he’s grown up being called Julian so he decided to make the change official.
He told the publication: “I’ve only told a few other people this, but a few years ago, I decided to change my name by deed poll. By birth I am John Charles Julian Lennon … I just decided, switch ‘John’ and ‘Julian’ around, so that you know, I’m finally me. And my album ‘Jude’ was a whole part of that process.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Joni Mitchell’s ex-husband Larry Klein says the veteran singer is hoping to return to the studio to record new music.
The 78-year-old singer suffered a brain aneurysm in 2015 which left her unable to talk or walk for some time but last month she returned to the stage for her first full show since 2000 at the Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island – and her former spouse Larry says she’s been keen to return to music.
He told Mojo magazine: “She’s been working her way to regain all sorts of things, and she’s been wanting to sing again, she just hadn’t gotten to the point where she had the confidence to go into the studio.”
When asked if Joni will ever record any new music, he replied: “I wouldn’t be surprised (if she records new music). She’s a hard worker.
“She’s working at regaining the ability to play guitar, and what that means is that she’ll start experimenting, and who knows what’s going to come with that?”
Larry was a session guitarist who met Joni while working on her 1982 record ‘Wild Things Run Fast’ and they became romantically involved during their time together and married by the end of the year.
They split while putting together the singer’s 1984 album ‘Turbulent Indigo’ but continued to work together after the divorce.
After Joni made her comeback at the festival in July, she revealed it was the first time she felt nervous about performing.
Speaking to CBS News after the show, she said: “I’ve never been nervous about being in front of an audience, but I wanted to be good and I wasn’t sure that I could be. But I didn’t sound too bad tonight. “I think having a brush with death like that kind of softens people to me.”
Joni retaught herself how to play guitar by watching online tutorials.
She said: “I’m learning. I’m looking at videos that are on the net to see where I put my fingers. It’s amazing what an aneurysm knocks out– how to get out of a chair, you don’t know how to get out of a bed. …
Going back to infancy, almost. You have to relearn everything. ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gary Barlow is working out five days a week to get fit for Take That’s next tour.
The 51-year-old singer wants to be in top physical shape when he hits the road with bandmates Howard Donald and Mark Owen for the first time since 2019.
He told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Training for a tour, I’ll do four to five sessions a week.
“It’s mostly cardio-based, simply because you’re singing while you’re moving around, so you need good cardio.
“I think as I get older I need to train more.”
Gary also revealed that he swears by cold water therapy.
He said: “I’ve done it for quite a few years. Years ago I pulled my back. I did the Ibuprofen, the pain relief, the stretching, the yoga. And I just bumped into a friend of mine who was with this doctor of alternative medicine.
“I was telling him about it and he goes, ‘That’s just a muscular thing that you can solve with cold water.’
“I did it for two days and I haven’t had an Ibuprofen since.
“He was explaining to me that basically you shock your system, all the blood goes to your core and then it flushes and the inflammation is what most of us are carrying and it just flushes it through.
“You can try the bath. You just fill your bath up with cold water and get a tray of ice and stick it in, leave it for ten minutes.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato had a Kelly Clarkson-inspired email address during her childhood.
The 29-year-old pop star is a huge fan of Kelly, 40, and she’s been inspired by the ‘Behind These Hazel Eyes’ hitmaker since 2002.
Appearing on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, Demi shared: “[Kelly’s] voice, to me, I remember watching her on ‘American Idol’ and just becoming so inspired by her that my email address when I was young was littlekelly@yahoo.com.”
Kelly covered Demi’s song ‘Anyone’ on her own TV talk-show earlier this year, and for Demi, the cover represented a “full-circle moment” in her life.
She said: “For her to cover my song years later was just a full-circle moment, because I also used to cover her songs when I was younger, as well.”
Demi recorded ‘Anyone’ shortly before her near-fatal drug overdose in 2018.
The pop star now looks back on the song and its lyrics as a “cry for help”.
She explained: “This song was written and recorded actually very shortly before everything happened.
“I recorded the vocals for it four days before [the overdose]. The lyrics took on a totally different meaning. At the time when I was recording it, I almost listen back and hear these lyrics as a cry for help. And you kind of listen back to it and you kind of think, how did nobody listen to this song and think, ‘Let’s help this [person]?”
Demi also admitted the song has taken on a very special and very personal meaning, in light of her health struggles.
She said: “I remember being in the hospital [after my overdose] and listening to the song. I just remember hearing back the songs I had just recorded and thinking, ‘If there’s ever a moment where I get to come back from this, I want to sing this song.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato has released ‘Holy Fvck’ and admitted the album gave her the “freedom to express” herself “in ways I didn’t know were possible.”
The 29-year-old star got to reclaim the artist she truly is on her heavy rock follow-up to 2021’s ‘Dancing with the Devil… the Art of Starting Over’- and it was a “cathartic and exhilarating” experience.
In a typed-out note to fans on Twitter, Demi said: “HOLY FVCK gave me the freedom to express myself in ways I didn’t know were possible and find joy I’d been missing when making music.
It’s cathartic and grounded, yet exhilarating and a hell of a good time.”
She added: “I don’t know where I’ll be in life in a year, or in five or 10 years – but what I do know is that this record is exactly where I am now, and I am damn proud of it. I hope everyone who listens is too.”
The ‘Cool for the Summer’ hitmaker admitted in a recent interview that she won’t be hurrying to listen back to the album’s predecessor.
She told Vogue: “What I learned about myself making this record is that it’s okay to own your truth. The last album that I made, I’m proud of it, but I don’t feel like there was a lot of myself in it. There was a lot of authenticity in the lyrics, but sonically, let’s just say I don’t go back and listen to that music today. This album, I’m excited to perform it and listen back to it. I haven’t gotten tired of it.”
Demi admitted she previously chased radio hits and lost sight of the artist she truly is.
The ’29’ singer was “miserable” singing the songs on stage and despised dressing in leotards in heels because that wasn’t her style.
She recalled in a separate interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1: “When I started my first two albums, I feel like my instincts were on track and I was doing the music that I loved listening to. And then I strayed away from it because I thought, ‘Well, I want radio songs.’ You know what I’m saying? I want songs that are going to be played on the radio, so I started doing more pop music. And I started to lose myself as well as myself as an artist … and honestly, it didn’t reflect what was inside of me. And I would get on stage, and I’d be in these leotards and these stiletto shoes that I was miserable in. And I danced. I did choreography and stuff like that, and I just wasn’t happy. And so I think that that led to me completely losing myself to find myself again, and I’ve started to find myself over time. And it’s funny that when you just go back to who you were in the beginning, as a 15-year-old, my instincts were correct. And I just got to stick to those but harder.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Coldplay want to tour “in a plane powered by milk”.
The eco-conscious band are keen to use renewable energy whenever they’re on the road, and Chris Martin – the band’s lead singer – wants to push the boundaries even further in the coming years.
He shared: “We’re about halfway where we want to go. A place we are struggling is transport.
“That’s where we need help and we need technology to develop so that we can fly in a plane powered by milk or something like that. So if anyone is making a milk-based plane…”
The band are currently in the middle of a series of gigs at Wembley Stadium. But according to Chris, they don’t actually feel like they’re the stars of the show.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “People are coming to see us, kind of. But they are really coming to be part of something.
“We are almost just the house band and everyone else is proving the entertainment. Especially after, or during, COVID it’s a chance to let go and be free. That’s what we want to encourage in our audience and in ourselves.”
Last year, meanwhile, Chris admitted there’s still “a long way to go” with his eco ambitions.
The 45-year-old singer revealed that he’s continually looking at ways of reducing emissions while he’s on tour.
He said: “We’ve been working with some amazing brains to see how we can cut down as much of the environmental impact as possible.
“We still have quite a long way to go, but we’ve already come quite a long way. And there are some things that we didn’t dream were possible that are possible.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX and AJ Tracey will replace Jack Harlow and Maneskin at Reading and Leeds.
The ‘First Class’ hitmaker and the Italian ‘Eurovision’ winners were forced to drop out of planned performances at the UK’s Reading and Leeds Festivals to take part in the MTV Video Music Awards in Newark, New Jersey on August 28.
Organisers of the double site festival shared their dismay in a statement posted on social media, which reads: “We are saddened to hear that Jack Harlow and Maneskin have decided to perform at an award show the same weekend they were confirmed to play Reading and Leeds.
“We are working on some exciting replacements to join Arctic Monkeys, Dave, Bring Me The Horizon, The 1975, Halsey, Megan Thee Stallion, D-Block Europe, PinkPantheress, Joy Crookes, Fontaines DC, Bastille, Willow, Wolf Alice, Glass Animals, Hybrid Minds and many others at Reading Leeds Festivals this August Bank Holiday weekend, watch this space!”
However, it’s just been confirmed that the ‘Hot In It’ star and the ‘Thiago Silva’ rapper will now take their places.
In their own statement, ‘Supermodel’ rockers Maneskin said the change was down to “unforeseen scheduling conflicts: “We are sad to announce that unfortunately due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, we are no longer able to perform at Readings Leeds festival this year. We love and miss the UK and all of our beloved UK fans and we’re absolutely gutted to no longer be able to play these shows.
“We’re really excited for the year to come and want to thank you for your support and patience, we’ll hopefully be back in the UK soon and we can’t wait to see you.”
The festivals – held at Reading’s Richmond Park and Leeds’ Bramham Park – have also seen The 1975 replace Rage Against The Machine as headliners after they were forced to pull out at the last-minute due to injury.

OHMYGOSSIP — Shane Lynch has revealed Boyzone almost starred in a fly-on-the-wall reality TV show.
The pop star shot to fame in the boy band back in the 1990s and they have reunited several times over the years.
Shane, 46, is currently starring in ‘The Real Housewives of Cheshire’ alongside his wife Sheena and he’s let slip that there were plans to create a similar show focused on the band.
In an interview with new! magazine, he said: “We tried to do something (in reality TV) years ago. I don’t think you’ll see us back on telly like that.”
However, there could potentially be another show about his bandmate Ronan Keating’s family.
The 45-year-old star’s 23-year-old son Jack appeared in dating show ‘Love Island’ over the summer, and he recently revealed he’s spoken to his influencer sister Missy, 21, about the prospect of Keating family series – but they’d have to convince their dad first.
Jack said: “I’d love to do another reality show.
I just have a taste for it now. And after doing Love Island, I feel like I can now conquer anything pretty much … “Me and Missy have definitely chatted about doing something like that so we will see what the future holds. It is definitely not something that we would ever rule out. We’d love to do something like that.
“We have all had chats around the dinner table about doing something like that and me and Missy would definitely be up for it. But he might be the tough one to crack, Dad, for sure.”
Jack may have enjoyed his time on ‘Love Island’ but Shane admitted he would have tried to talk him out of it if he’d known he’d signed up.
He said: “Jack’s a lovely boy and I think if I was to give him any advice, I would have told him not to go on it. He’s a nice kid, not that the other kids weren’t but it’s a different bravado. Jack’s more gathered and is more focused on his career than a life in reality TV.”
Shane and Ronan were joined by Keith Duffy, 47, Mikey Graham, 50, and formerly the late Stephen Gately, who died aged 33 in 2009, in the ‘No Matter What’ group.

OHMYGOSSIP — Aitch and AJ Tracey have “countless songs”.
The ‘Buss Down’ rapper has just dropped his debut studio album, ‘Close to Home’, which features AJ on the track ‘R Kid’, as well as ‘Baby’ with Ashanti and Ed Sheeran on ‘My G’.
The 22-year-old Mancunian has revealed he and the ‘Ladbroke Grove’ star have a number of tracks stored away, and the only reason ‘R Kid’ made the album is because of its important message.
He said: “Me and AJ have got countless songs and the reason that song is on the album is because it’s a song with a message.
“When it comes to collaborations I feel I work with people for the right reasons.”
The pair previously joined forces on the 2020 hit ‘Rain’.
Aitch admits his sudden rise to stardom is surreal as he went from writing raps on his phone to getting the approval of AJ and Stormzy.
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, he said: “I actually don’t even know how it happened.
“I used to write rhymes on my phone. I must’ve had a hidden talent and it was just a matter of time before I found it. Then it all happened and getting approval off the likes of Stormzy and AJ Tracey shows I am good now.
“That was one of the most important things, to get approval from people you’ve grown up on.”
Aitch and Stormzy teamed up on ‘Pop Boy’ on the latter’s 2019 LP ‘Heavy Is The Head’, and both appeared on Ed Sheeran’s remix of ‘Take Me Back To London’.
He sent ‘My G’, which is about his young sister Gracie, to Ed as the pop megastar is his sibling’s favourite artist.
Aitch said: “I sent it to Ed and he loved it. I met Ed after I guested on ‘Take Me Back To London’, a song he remixed. He’s my sister’s favourite and she’s not heard the song yet. It’s going to be emotional.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Stone Roses’ Mani and his wife Imelda are running a fundraiser after the latter was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer.
All money raised from the ‘This Is The One’ event, a charity concert being held at The Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester on November 18, will go towards the work of The Christie Hospital and The Stockport Charitable Trust.
As well as musical performances, there will be a special raffle of “unique memorabilia”.
In a statement, 59-year-old bassist Mani – whose real name is Gary Mounfield – said: “When life deals you a pair of twos, you must get your game face on! The past two years since my wife’s diagnosis have been brutal in so many ways, but it’s also opened our eyes to so many things.
“This disease needs to be eradicated – we feel duty bound to do our bit to achieve this. So everybody, get on board, dig deep, help out, we will win!”
Imelda, who was diagnosed in November 2020 and received treatment at The Christie, added: “Both charities have supported me through my journey. Cancer affects not just the person who has it, but everyone around them, and I hope that by investing in some more research, we can help alleviate some of the devastation caused to families.”
Earlier this year, former Oasis guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs received treatment at The Christie after being diagnosed with tonsil cancer in April.
The 57-year-old rocker completed 30 rounds of radiotherapy and two chemotherapy sessions.
Praising the staff at the hospital, he said: “I can’t thank the team who supported and treated me at The Christie enough. Doctors, Radiographers, dieticians, speech and language.
“You all really made it so much easier, I’ll forever look back at what you all do with a hand on my heart. Thank massively. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Ryder, Franz Ferdinand and KSI are among this year’s National Album Day Ambassadors.
The annual celebration of the album format returns on October 15, this time with the theme of Debut Albums.
A press release notes that the day will “showcase a broad range of first album releases across multiple genres and decades – from debut recordings that have gone on to become classics to those that are perhaps only now being fully appreciated or which, years later, merit reappraisal.”
As well as the UK’s 2022 ‘Eurovision Song Contest’ runner-up Sam, Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand and rap star KSI, Liverpool’s rising rock outfit The Mysterines and English indie-folk trio The Staves have been chosen as this year’s Ambassadors.
Franz Ferdinand frontman Alex Kapranos said: “What a glorious medium the album is. On the most basic level it’s a bunch of songs that sound good together, but what I love is that it is a moment in time for the artist and the listener, a way to define a period of a lifetime. It’s the long form: a novel rather than a short story, a film rather than a trailer. Sure, you can get a panel of writers to construct a song to meet the criteria of the algorithm, and that’s a distinct skill, but it will never have the complexity or richness and deep reward of a good album.”
‘Holiday’ hitmaker KSI said: “With an album, it’s essentially you living in the mind of an artist. What they’re thinking, what they’re feeling and how it makes me feel listening to it. Do I relate? Do I agree or disagree, what emotions do I feel? Even the instrumental can make you feel a certain way. Albums at different stages in our lives can be so pivotal and help inspire different ways of thinking or feeling and why I feel it is so important in our lives. Listening to certain albums is like looking back at history of how I was feeling in the moment in time. And the nostalgia is truly amazing.”
Lia Metcalfe of The Mysterines, who had a UK Top 10 with their debut LP ‘Reeling’ earlier this year – commented: “I’m so pleased to be an ambassador for National Album Day. We released our debut album ‘Reeling’ earlier this year and it has been one of the most seminal moments in our lives. OHMYGOSSIP — Alanis Morissette is set to be inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame by Olivia Rodrigo.
The ‘Ironic’ hitmaker is being honoured alongside the likes of Bryan Adams, Jim Vallance, David Foster, and Daniel Lavoie at the ceremony on September 24 at Toronto’s Massey Hall.
Olivia, who duetted with Alanis on her 1995 hit ‘You Oughta Know’ at her concert in Los Angeles in May, was inspired to become a singer and songwriter after hearing her idol’s hit ‘Perfect’ from her seminal LP ‘Jagged Little Pill’.
The 19-year-old pop star said: “I remember hearing Alanis for the first time when I was about 13.
“I was in the car with my parents when ‘Jagged Little Pill’ came on. I heard ‘Perfect,’ I was like, ‘Oh, my God… You can write songs like that?’ I just looked at music and songwriting in a completely different way.”
The pair have had similar career trajectories, starting off as child actors.
Olivia got her big break on the Disney show ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’, while Alanis shot to fame on ‘You Can’t Do That’, a Canadian comedy show on CTV.
Alanis’ 1991 debut album was the self-titled ‘Alanis’, while Olivia’s ‘Sour’ came out last year.
The two artists interviewed each other for Rolling Stone’s Musicians on Musicians series last year, with social media among the topics.
Alanis said: “People ask me what I think of Instagram and everything, and I just think it’s like a storefront in New York at Christmastime. It’s presentational.”
Olivia said: “It’s just hard for me because I had my first Instagram when I was 12 years old. So I completely had all of my adolescence in front of people, and I think it’s hard to differentiate who you are as a person versus who you are as a person on Instagram.”
Alanis – who has 10 albums under her belt – also had some advice for her fellow singer.
She said: “My dad told me when I was really young – I think I was maybe seven – he said, ‘Sweetheart, there’s three ways people will perceive you in the world: They’re going to love you and you can do no wrong, they’re going to hate you and you can do no right, or they just won’t give a s***. It’s going to be one of those three, so enjoy!'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Coldplay and Natalie Imbruglia performed Grease hit ‘Summer Nights’ in tribute to the late Olivia Newton-John at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday night (16.08.22).
Frontman Chris Martin, 45, channelled his inner John Travolta to take on the role of Danny from the 1978 rom-com musical, while Natalie, 47, became fellow Australian Olivia’s alter ego Sandy for the acoustic duet.
Jacob Collier also joined in on vocals.
The duo also performed Natalie’s 1997 hit ‘Torn’ at the packed-out stadium in London.
Actress-and-singer Olivia sadly died last week, aged 72, more than 30 years after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Her co-star, Travolta, led tributes.
The 68-year-old actor wrote: “We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever!
“Your Danny, your John.”
The star is set to receive a state funeral.
Olivia will be laid to rest with a state memorial service in Australia after her family accepted the offer days following her tragic death.
Speaking on ‘A Current Affair’, her niece Tottie Goldsmith confirmed: “We will [accept], on behalf of not just our family, but I think Australia needs it. She was so loved.
“I think our country needs it so we’re going to accept it.”
A venue and date is yet to be revealed.
Olivia’s husband of 14 years, John Easterling, shared a statement across the star’s social media channels last Monday (08.08.22), confirming she had passed away.
It read: “Dame Olivia Newton-John (73) passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends. We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.
“Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer. Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in her memory to the @onjfoundation

OHMYGOSSIP — Aitch has promised to make things right after an advert for his album covered up an Ian Curtis mural.
The 22-year-old rapper – whose upcoming debut album ‘Close To Home’ is set to be released on Friday (19.08.22) – has responded after a popular piece of street art depicting the late Joy Division frontman was painted over with the ad in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
Responding to complaints about the situation in his hometown, Aitch tweeted: “I don’t just choose locations for billboards, this is the first time I’ve seen it myself. Getting fixed as we speak.”
He later added: “It’s come to light that the iconic Ian Curtis mural on Port Street has been painted over with my album artwork.
“This is the first I’ve heard of this, me and my team are getting this fixed pronto. No way on earth would I want to disrespect a local hero like Ian.”
His response has already impression Joy Division founder Peter Hook, who replied: “Thank you [Aitch] great gesture.”
The mural – which was painted by street artist Akse P19 – is based on a photo of the ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ singer, which was taken by Philippe Carly.
The artwork – which was backed by Manchester Council – first appeared in 2020 as a partnership with music and mental health festival Headstock with the goal of raising awareness for mental health issues.
The artist first drew attention to the mural being covered up in an Instagram post, and insisted the “cultural landmark” meant “so much to people from Manchester and beyond”.
Akse P19 said: “It doesn’t take much common sense to understand that this mural should have remained for what it represented and stood for.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kehlani ended her r Philadelphia concert early due to crowd safety concerns.
The ‘Nights Like This’ hitmaker wasn’t “comfortable” carrying on with her performance on The Mann Center’s Skyline Stage on Monday night (15.08.22) because there were too many people “passing out”.
In one fan-filmed clip, she told the audience: “I can’t have this, this is not OK.
“I don’t feel comfortable. I don’t feel OK. I don’t feel like anybody’s safe right now.”
In another TikTok video, she said: “I love you so much. I do not have more words for how disappointed and heartbroken I am right now. I love you Philly, get home safe.”
A venue spokesperson confirmed to Rolling Stone that three people received “minimal treatment” at the concert.
Kehlani later took to social media to thank the staff for their “diligence and swift care” of her fans.
The 27-year-old singer wrote on her Instagram Story: “Philly thanks for an incredible evening.
“I care about you guys more than anything and I put you before anything else. Thank you so much to the venue and staff for your diligence and swift care for everyone in my audience. Outstanding job.
“Cannot stress how much I love all of you and how important you are to me. Seeing you all on tour for the first time in many years has really reminded me what I do it for. I hope you know how deep my love runs. Thank you for everything.”
Kehlani is currently on the ‘Blue Water Road’ tour, which heads to the UK and Europe later this year.

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Rodrigo is officially back in the studio.
The ‘good 4 u’ hitmaker’s producer Dan Nigro has shared a studio snap of the pair on his Instagram Story, confirming a previous report that they are hard at work on her second album.
After the whirlwind success of her record-breaking debut LP ‘Sour’, the 19-year-old pop superstar has reunited with the studio wizard behind all but one of the 11 tracks on the chart-topping 2021 record.
A source had recently told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Olivia’s debut was one of the biggest in years. She really did something special when she was in the studio with Dan. She wants the follow-up to evolve her sound so it isn’t exactly the same.
“But she feels like she and Dan are a dream team when they get in the studio, so she is hoping they can make more magic together.
“Olivia had a few weeks off after the tour finished but she is champing at the bit to make headway on the second album.
“The last 18 months have been a complete whirlwind and while there is no rush to get new music out, she doesn’t want to leave it too long.”
The ‘brutal’ hitmaker getting ahead on her follow-up record comes just a month after she wrapped her ‘Sour Tour’ in London on July 7.
Meanwhile, the former Disney Channel star recently insisted she won’t be getting her head turned by her success.
She said: “I definitely think it is a big confidence boost to see so many people resonate with what I have to say. I’m so grateful for that.
“I’m just always a little bit hard on myself. I’m always pushing myself to be better.
“And I think I’ll never change no matter the amount of success any of my songs get.”
The ‘drivers license’ hitmaker admitted the last year has been “crazy” and though everything around her has changed, she’s still the same person and her friends will always keep her grounded.
She said: “It’s so crazy, but I have amazing friends who are so honest with me and keep me grounded.
“My life has changed drastically, but at the end of the day, I’m really kind of like the same person doing the same things in my everyday life.”
