OHMYGOSSIP — Florence Pugh is planning to release a solo album.
The ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ star always thought she’d end up a singer-songwriter, not an actress, and used to upload her singing videos under the name Flossie Rose YouTube before becoming a huge Hollywood star.
Speaking on an episode of ‘This Cultural Life’, she said: “I would have put money on being a singer-songwriter way before being an actor.
“To me being an actor was so far away. I knew that I could do it, but I didn’t know how to get there.
“Whereas me with my guitar being recorded and going on YouTube, and performing on stage and doing gigs was way more accessible.
“So that was always the thing that I thought I was going to do and then I did this leaflet audition and it just completely went 180 (degrees).”
The 26-year-old star has penned songs for her upcoming film, which is slated for release next March, and she hopes to turn them into her first album as well.
However, the ‘Black Widow’ star admits she needs to build her confidence before performing again.
She added: “I intend to continue that relationship with the producers and I intend to release music.
“It’s something that I have been so conscious of ever since my acting career kind of went like this (doing a hand motion that went up).
“I do miss it and I do miss performing. I’ve lost confidence in it because I haven’t been doing it.
“And I know that if I don’t do it, the lack of confidence is only going to get worse and I just need to just give it a go.”
Last year, Florence provided backup vocals on her brother Toby Sebastian’s song ‘Midnight’.

OHMYGOSSIP — The 1975 get “carried away” in the studio and forget they need to play their songs live.
The alternative band’s lead guitarist Adam Hann admits they often come up with complex parts, such as the nine guitars playing at the same time on ‘I’m In Love With You’ from their latest LP ‘Being Funny in a Foreign Langauge’, and have to adjust it to just three guitars on stage.
He told Total Guitar magazine: “In the studio, we never really think, ‘Can we play this live?’
“That’s not a thing we consider whatsoever.
Sometimes we get carried away and then at the end realise, ‘Oh, S***, this is insane!’
In the mix, they’ve done a great job of balancing this, but at one point towards the end of ‘I’m In Love With You’, there’s nine guitar parts going simultaneously.
The balance is clever so it doesn’t sound like that, but when you open up the stems and think, ‘what are we gonna play?’, you have to pick three parts from these nine to work on.”
Despite having five consecutive number one albums in the UK, frontman Matty Healy recently insisted he doesn’t want The 1975 to be as big as the Foo Fighters.
The ‘Part of the Band’ singer admits the band have zero commercial ambitions and would much rather be a “small emo band” than one of the world’s biggest groups.
Asked if he wants to top the charts, Matty said: “If I started caring about that now it would f****** stink. I said this ages ago, everyone wants us to become a huge rock band and we want to become a small emo band. If we become Burial, I’m way happier with that than f****** Foo Fighters, do you know what I mean? I love the Foo Fighters, but I couldn’t do that. It’s funny, there’s something about me that is very poppy and the stuff that comes out is poppy, but the references never are.”
The 33-year-old star – who recently revealed the band decided to do their own tour instead of accepting a huge paycheque to support global megastar Ed Sheeran – admitted he and his bandmates are “not concerned about growing old as a band and continuing to put out records.”
He said: “I’ve been offered all the wrong things for the right money. I’ve never taken [those offers], and it’s not that I’m proud of myself, but that part of me has been tested. I’m not particularly concerned about growing old as a band and continuing to put out records, because we’re not remotely commercially minded. Which inherently keeps us, I don’t want to say credible … We’re just four nerds who are obsessed with alternative music and pop culture, it’s no deeper than that. I’m not worried about us being like, ‘Oh s***, we need do a f****** remix with Marshmello.’”
When the ‘Chocolate’ hitmakers won their first BRIT Award in 2017 for Best British Group, it was hard for Matty to “really grasp it”.
He explained: “If I won a f****** BRIT now I’d be like, ‘Oi, oi!! You f****** [what]!’ But I was this fever dreamy, suspicious… I couldn’t really grasp it. We became this new thing and people started using crazy words like ‘Radiohead’ and that’s where ‘Notes…’ came from. I was like, ‘Fuuu** this, I don’t know how to react, I don’t know what to do.’”
The ‘Somebody Else’ band won the same prize at the 2019 ceremony, and also scooped British Album of the Year for ‘A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Pulp bassist Steve Mackey won’t be partaking in their reunion shows.
Jarvis Cocker and co confirmed they are reuniting in 2023 for a series of festivals and concerts, with headline slots at Latitude and TRNSMT festivals and more.
Pulp will headline Latitude in Suffolk on July 21, and Glasgow’s TRNSMT on July 7.
They will also play homecoming gigs in Sheffield on July 14 and 15, plus a massive outdoor gig at London’s Finsbury Park on July 1.
The ‘Do You Remember the First Time’ rockers reunited in 2011, with Jarvis joined by Steve, Russell Senior, Candida Doyle, Nick Banks and Mark Webber.
They played a surprise set at Glastonbury followed by a headline slot at Reading and Leeds.
Their last performances were in 2012, including a hometown show in Sheffield and a pair of shows on the SS Coachella Cruise.
However, Steve has announced that he won’t be part of the latest reunion.
In an Instagram statement, he said: “Pulp is a very important part of my creative life.
“I’m exceptionally proud of the body of work we’ve created together. Jarvis and I remastered Pulp’s entire Universal Records back catalogue together just over two years ago at Abbey Road Studios. It was a huge pleasure to do that and review our songs and recordings together.”
He continued: “There have been wide reports of a full reunion for UK concerts today. However, I’ve decided to continue the work I’m engaged in – music, filmmaking and photography projects, and will not be joining them for these UK shows just announced.
“Wishing Candy, Nick, Mark and Jarvis the very best with forthcoming performances in the UK and also an enormous thanks to Pulp’s amazing fanbase, many of whom have sent me lovely messages today.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Craig David has released ‘Better Days (I came by train)’ in a bid to encourage people to make more sustainable choices.
The Garage King has turned eco-activist to highlight how swapping a car journey for the train will produce a whopping 70 per cent less CO2.
The lyrics include a line about how “the little things we know can make a beautiful change.”
An animated music video was also shared to raise awareness of the climate emergency the planet is facing.
Speaking of the new song, he said: “Writing this was a real passion project for me as I want to help raise awareness of the impact our choices can have on the environment. Even swapping just one journey from car or plane to train can make a significant difference – it’s a no-brainer if you want to do your bit to help towards a better future! Even the smallest things can make a beautiful change.”
Meanwhile, Craig recently claimed he has “super psychic” abilities.
The 41-year-old star explained how he was initially very much “in the closet” about his alleged powers but now feels “liberated” enough to reveal that he can see into the future.
He said: “I’m super empathic, super sensitive and super psychic, which I feel very liberated to say now. I was a bit in the closet about being psychic. But I’m very clairvoyant and I can see things in the future.”
The ‘7 Days’ hitmaker also went on to claim that he is clairaudient, which means that he can communicate with people, and he has spoken to his ancestors.
Speaking on the ‘Happy Place’ podcast, he told host Fearne Cotton: “I’m clairaudient. My ears ring off like crazy and I know there’s a guide or some ancestor trying to come through – and tuning in.”

The ‘Saturday Night’ hitmaker – whose real name is Sannie Charlotte Carlson – recently revealed she was having a series of health tests, including an MRI, to establish what’s wrong with her.
And updating fans on Tuesday (25.10.22), she wrote on Instagram: “Back at the hospital for a biopsy. Hopefully all this will be over soon.
Have a great day everyone and Wish me luck.”
The Danish Eurodance icon, 52, was sent for an emergency MRI scan two weeks ago, meaning she had to miss her first concert, Oktober Festival in Odense, Denmark.
She wrote at the time: “Hey guys,
Unfortunately i won’t be able to perform at tonight’s Oktober Festival in Odense DK.
Those who follow me know that i haven’t really been feeling 100 per cent lately and been doing various checkups.
Unfortunately i’ve been booked for an emergency MRI scan tomorrow and because of logistics, it would be impossible to do both.

Whigfield recently revealed she gave up alcohol seven years ago because it started to feel “wrong” for her body.
She said: “I have given up the drinking because drinking was basically part of tour life, because of boredom and because there was so much waiting around.
“I wasn’t the sort of person who would wake up and drink, don’t get me wrong, but it was just like a social thing and to do with my work. Backstage there was booze everywhere. It was just like, it just became part of my life, and one day I just went, ‘Ugh’ – I’d had enough of it because waking up feeling like s*** isn’t good.
“I just could feel in my body and brain that the whole thing was wrong. It was just, you know when something takes over.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Grennan has been made a patron of the Music Venue Trust.
The ‘Lionheart (Fearless)’ hitmaker has joined the likes of Sir Paul McCartney and Frank Turner as an advocate for grassroots music venues across the UK.
The 27-year-old singer-songwriter recently returned to The Finsbury in Finsbury Park, north London, where he started out and shared how vital small independent venues are for the future of music.
Speaking in a video interview with Mercury Prize Sponsor FREENOW, who have partnered with MVT to fund gigs at grassroots music venues, Tom said: “Grassroots venues are so important because if we didn’t have them, we wouldn’t have music.
“Music is still alive and this is why venues like this are so important, because if we didn’t have venues I wouldn’t be about, and I know a lot of others wouldn’t be about. There are so many artists, so many genres of music, so many different people that are wanting or needing to be found. You don’t need to be glued to your phone to try and find the next big thing because, trust me, the next big things are in venues like this. So, get off your phone, go out and watch and listen to live music, and enjoy it.”
The charity has just launched the Pipeline Investment Fund, offering UK grassroots music venues grants of up to £5000.
Former Beatles legend McCartney, 80, pledged his support back in 2016.
He said at the time: “Throughout my career I’ve been lucky enough to play in venues of all different shapes and sizes, from tiny clubs to massive stadiums all over the world. Without the grassroots clubs, pubs and music venues my career could have been very different. I support Music Venue Trust because artists need places to start out, develop and work on their craft and small venues have been the cornerstone for this. If we don’t support live music at this level then the future of music in general is in danger.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tyson Fury’s debut solo single is set to raise money for a men’s mental health charity.
The two-time heavyweight champion has recorded a cover of Neil Diamond’s ‘Sweet Caroline’, and Tyson’s single – which will be released on November 11 – will raise funds for Talk Club.
Tyson – who has previously spoken about his own mental health struggles – explained: “Boxing has been a massive platform for me to spread the word on mental health and I have done it to the best of my ability. I have been very vocal about my mental health struggle, especially since my comeback.
“It has been widely printed about my highs and lows, ups and downs, so I’ve tried my best to keep talking about it as much as I can and keep trying to smash the stigma.”
Tyson, 34, has previously sang tunes such as ‘American Pie’ and ‘Walking in Memphis’ after some of his most high-profile fights.
And Myn Jazeel, the senior vice president of Rhino Records UK, has relished the experience of working with the sporting icon.
Myn said: “It’s a huge privilege to work with a true global sporting legend and to help bring to fruition Tyson’s desire to continue to raise awareness around mental health issues.
“Tyson has done a brilliant recording of this classic track and has the voice and charisma to do the song justice.”
Ben Akers and Gavin Thorpe, the co-founders of Talk Club, are similarly excited to have worked with Tyson.
They said: “Men see themselves in Tyson, so when he talks (or sings) they listen. So to be partnering with Tyson on something that raises the awareness of Talk Club, and gets men talking and improving their mental fitness, will save lives.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lewis Capaldi changed Ed Sheeran’s lyrics in his song because he felt they were outdated.
The Scottish superstar had the global pop megastar co-write the track ‘Pointless’ on his upcoming second studio album ‘Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent’, but he felt it wasn’t right to suggest a woman should automatically change her surname to her husband’s last name when they get married, so he took it out.
The lyric Ed suggested was: “She gives me more than everything, I’ll give her my last name.”
Lewis told the BBC: “I was like, ‘Ed, this is 2022. No-one has to take anyone’s second name. I’m not singing that!’
“I don’t even think that Ed’s own wife has got his last name.”
The ‘Forget Me’ singer admitted he was “wary” of becoming another artist with a co-write from Ed, noting how “every British artist who has a number one record seems to have Ed on it.”
Lewis was honest with the ‘Shape of You’ hitmaker about his apprehensions and he even suggested using another name on the songwriting credits.
Lewis, 26, added: “That’s a testament to how good he is but I was wary of it.
“My ego was going, ‘I don’t want people thinking Ed wrote my song’.
“I actually mentioned that to him and he offered to take up a pseudonym – but at the end of the day, he did help write it so there should be no question.”
Lewis turned to Sir Elton John for some advice on his follow-up to his 2019 record-breaking debut studio effort ‘Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent’.
The 75-year-old music legend spilled: “He’s made a second album and he’s got apprehensions about it, which is normal.
“He came down to play me some tracks and it’s a no-brainer.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Corey Taylor has hinted Slipknot could headline Download 2023.
The frontman of the iconic heavy metal group was unable to “confirm nor deny” the rumours, and this has left fans continuing to speculate whether or not the ‘Duality’ rockers will make it to Donington next year for the heavy music festival.
Taking part in a Q+A at the For The Love Of Horror convention in Manchester, he teased the crowd: “I’m going to try and make this as clear as I can.
“On my life, I can neither confirm nor deny. I wish I could tell you that we’re going to be there, I really do.”
With a smile across his face, he added: “Unfortunately, I don’t have that answer right now. So I will tell you when I can.”
He then joked: “That’ll get people p***** off.”
Corey and co last headlined Download in 2019.
The 48-year-old star has just wrapped a solo tour of the UK.
And Slipknot released their seventh studio album ‘The End, So Far’ on September 30.
Meanwhile, bandmate Jim Root recently explained that the reason they’ve stuck together for more than two decades and always top their last release is that they are all equals and still “love” what they do.
Speaking to Australian Guitar Magazine, the guitarist said: “We’re getting to that point in our career where we’re all in this together.
“We all want to do the best we can for the role we play in this band, and when that becomes the priority, that’s when you put ego aside, put all that bull**** aside, and work together to make something great.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Francis Rossi says his “naughty” late bandmate Rick Parfitt scuppered their chances of receiving knighthoods.
The pair were made OBEs for their services to music in 2010, but the sole continuous member of the legendary rock band could have become Sir Francis Rossi if his bandmate – who died in 2016, aged 68, from an infection six months after suffering a major heart attack – had behaved himself.
Speaking to Classic Rock magazine, Francis recalled: “If you want the truth, just before we got the gong, I was told by a certain individual that we were due for the other gong. And Rick was a naughty boy, as usual.
“Whenever it was imperative that he behave, he couldn’t.
“I can’t tell you what he did, but it wasn’t particularly good.
“So it was a case of: ‘You can’t have that one, but you can have this one instead.'”
The 73-year-old musician also confessed that he likes to wind Sir Elton John up by calling him Reggie, a shortened version of his birth name Reginald.
He said: “I’m not supposed to call him that because he gets upset, but I can’t help it, that’s what I know him as.”
The ‘Rockin’ All Over the World’ hitmaker recalled the ‘Tiny Dancer’ hitmaker paying them the highest compliment – but not taking the chart-topper seriously.
He recalled: “He once said to us: ‘I wish I could write them rock songs like you do.’
I just went: ‘What? Don’t be silly Reg, for f*** sake.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — DJ Mighty Mouse has died.
The music producer – whose real name was Matthew Ward – passed away “suddenly” at his home in Spain last Thursday (20.10.22) after suffering an aortic aneurysm.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Defected Records said: “Rest In Peace, Mighty Mouse. We are devastated to confirm that Matthew Ward aka Mighty Mouse, died suddenly last Thursday at his home in Spain. Matthew died in his sleep from an aortic aneurysm. We are all lost without his enormous presence and talent. Our thoughts are with his partner, Ellen, and his Mum, Judy, as well as his wider family and many, many friends and fans. We would ask you to please respect the family’s privacy at this terrible time. All enquiries and condolences through his agent, please.”
Mighty Mouse came to prominence in the music industry with his ‘Disco Circus’ mix series before making regular appearances on dance shows broadcast on BBC Radio 1.
Following his death, tributes from the world of music poured in for the tragic star.
Fellow DJ Simon Dunmore said: “Sending love and condolences to Matthew’s family friends. RIP Mighty Mouse”, whilst DJ Jason Dee added: “Saw him in Sydney in 2019 supporting Late Nite Tuff Guy and he was excellent. He played his remix of Abba and it rocked the place. This was long before his edit was heavily supported the world over.”
‘The Mighty Wonky Disco Show’ host was due to make an appearance at The Lofts in Newcastle-upon-Tyne on Saturday (29.10.22) before going on to host a Halloween set in Barcelona on Monday.

OHMYGOSSIP — Shola Ama “hasn’t put out as much music” as she would have liked.
The 43-year-old singer released a string of hit singles in the late 1990s including ‘You Might Need Somebody’ and ‘Still Believe’ but admitted that her “life fulfilment” hasn’t been justified by her career.
Asked if she feels her contribution to music was ever respected, she said: “I hope so. Sometimes no because I probably haven’t put out as much music as I would have liked to and should have over the last 25 years. Sometimes you’re only ever as good as your last record and time is a very interesting thing, it just goes. Even though I came out at the end of the 90s I’m always considered a 90s artist, I didn’t quite make the noughties. Sometimes I feel it and sometimes I don’t, I think that’s just the nature of the industry and luckily, how I feel about myself isn’t justified by my career. I’m really proud of it but I’m also super happy and fulfilled in my life anyway.”
The ‘You’re the One I Love’ songstress – who released her last album ‘Supersonic’ in 2002 but released an EP in 2015 – took home the Best British Female at the BRIT Awards in 1998, seeing off competition from the likes of Eternal singer Louise Redknapp and Michelle Gayle but admitted she was “shocked” to receive the accolade because she was only in the first year of her pop career.
She told Metro.co.uk: “I was really shocked to get it because I thought I might get something on that night, but I didn’t know if I would win that one because it just seemed like the huge one, and everything was still so new, so in some way, I felt I hadn’t earned my stripes yet because it was in the first year of my success. I felt really proud. I remember in my speech I just thanked my mum and granny. I was supposed to do this big label/management and thank all the people who looked after me.
“I remember feeling really proud but also there’s so many positives to the way music industry has changed now. It’s so much richer than when I was around and when I look back at my time, if you didn’t have a major label deal and subscribe to certain formulas, there was just no chance of your music being heard.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sophie Ellis-Bextor has “always regretted” selling her boots from ‘Murder on the Dancefloor.’
The 43-year-old pop star wore a pair of black high-heeled leather boots in the music video for her 2001 hit – which saw her adopt a character who takes part in a dance competition and seeks to injure the other contestants so she can take the crown – and revealed that the boots were auctioned off for a lot less than what she paid.
She said: “I’ve always regretted it. They didn’t say in the charity auction that they were the boots from the video. So I think they sold them for probably less than what I paid to own them in the first place.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Get Over You’ hitmaker explained that when it comes to her music, she often has a co-writer because when she writes “totally alone”, she struggles to know how good something is.
Speaking on the ‘Style DNA’ podcast, she told host Amanda Wakely: “I mainly co-write like writing with other people because I think it helps you weed out the good ideas from the bad. But I also write totally on my own sometimes and I can’t tell if I’m doing something brilliant or awful and I end up in checkmate with myself. There’s someone I’ve worked with for a while now called Ed Harcourt, who is an amazing singer-songwriter in his own right. We’ve worked together on three albums and it’s just a very easy collaboration. We have a lot of fun, chat about a ton of stuff and then we write a song as well.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mutya Buena has “never cared” what people think about her music.
The 37-year-old pop star – who is best known as a founding member of the Sugababes – explained that while a “personal attack” on her character can often hurt, she has never had such a “bad reaction” when it comes to criticism of her work.
She said: “I don’t know how I’ve done it for so many years – the knock-backs and will to get up and sing. For many years, I was in a hole, but my passion for music made me carry on. I’ve grown to the point of not caring what people think about me. When it’s a personal attack it’s always harder. Thank God I’ve never had such a bad reaction when it comes to music.”
Mutya recently reunited with her ‘About You Now’ hitmakers Keisha Buchanan and Siobhán Donaghy – who at various times in the group’s history were replaced by the likes of Heidi Range, Jade Ewan, and Amelle Berrabah – after managing to reclaim the Sugababes name and promised that the the trio are “not finished” with their career and have more to “prove” as they hit the road once again
She is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column as saying: “We don’t feel like we’ve finished or got to where we want to be in our careers. We have a lot we want to do inThe Sugababes individually and as a group and to prove everyone wrong, basically.”
The Sugababes are on tour across the UK for the first time in almost a decade until November 7.

OHMYGOSSIP — Mötley Crüe axe-slayer Mick Mars has retired from touring.
The 71-year-old co-founding member of the ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’ group served as lead guitarist for four decades and heroically continued to play all these years despite suffering with immense pain from severe arthritis in the spine, caused by the “crippling” degenerative disease Ankylosing Spondylitis.
A statement read: “Mick Mars, co-founder and lead guitarist of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe for the past 41 years, has announced today that due to his ongoing painful struggle with Ankylosing Spondylitis, he will no longer be able to tour with the band.
“Mick will continue as a member of the band, but can no longer handle the rigors of the road.
“A.S. is an extremely painful and crippling degenerative disease, which affects the spine.”
The rocker’s pain got so bad at one point, he got addicted to painkillers.
Mick managed to trouper on touring after undergoing successful hip surgery.
He recalled in 2008: “I kept getting worse and worse, and I just stopped playing guitar for almost two years.
“Nowadays, it’s not so bad, but back then when I was high on all that stuff and Mötley were having a break, I knew if I didn’t stop I was gonna die. In the end, I had to go to a neuro-psychiatrist to straighten me up and he said to me, ‘Just hold the guitar for an hour a day – don’t play it, just hold it.’ It was pretty bizarre but I got through it, and in the end I think I’m actually a better player because of it.”
The news comes shortly after Mötley – also comprising Vince Neil, 61, Tommy Lee, 60, and Nikki Sixx, 63 – announced a joint stadium tour with Def Leppard next year.
After their stint in North America this year, the ‘Home Sweet Home’ band will bring their epic show to the rest of the world.
They said in a statement: “We had an incredible time playing ‘The Stadium Tour’ in North America this summer and we truly can’t wait to take the show around the globe with ‘The World Tour’ in 2023.
“Crueheads in Latin America and Europe: Get ready! We’re coming for you next and can’t wait to finally see all of you out there again next year!”
Mick’s replacement has not been announced as of yet.
There were whispers of Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 stepping in for Mick, but he denied this in a since-deleted post.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nightwish vocalist Floor Jansen has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The 41-year-old symphonic heavy metal star has revealed she was given the shock diagnosis just over two weeks ago, but reassured her fans that it’s a “non-aggressive” form of cancer and her prognosis is “very good”.
The Dutch star is set to undergo surgery followed by radiotherapy but expects to be “cancer-free” and to keep her breast.
In a social media statement, she said: “A letter to you. Life comes in waves, with ups and downs.
“I have had the joy of riding many highs, and I have shared these with you through social media and the many many shows worldwide throughout the many years of my career.
“But now a new wave hit me. Not a good one. I have breast cancer. It was diagnosed a little over 2 weeks ago and I will have surgery tomorrow to remove the tumour. My prognosis is very good!!! It seems to be a non-aggressive cancer, which seems to not have spread. I will keep my breast. And I will be cancer free after this surgery, plus a local radiation treatment that will take place three months after this surgery, hopefully. We will know more after the surgery to see if this positive prognosis stands.”
Floor – who has five-year-old daughter Freja with fellow musician husband Hannes Van Dahl – has implored women to attend their mammogram appointments, as without it, her cancer would have gone undetected.
She said: “The word cancer is a shocker. All that you found important in life before this diagnosis changes radically within minutes. Now I just want to be healthy again. I want to see my daughter grow into a woman; I want to live! And the scariest part of this diagnosis is that I thought I was healthy! I didn’t feel the cancer, I didn’t know it was there until I, as a 40+ woman, went to a standard mammogram checkup. Something many countries offer, for free even for the lucky ones.”
She continued: “Had I not gone there, the tumour would have gone undetected. In a year from now this could have grown much bigger. The thought of that makes me share this story with you. A mammogram is lifesaving! It’s uncomfortable and you might think that you won’t have something in your breasts anyway but GO! And for the men reading this: remind your wife, girlfriend, mother, sister to go and get checked. Even without the luxury I as a western woman experience with free mammogram checkups: GO! Luckily, there are many organisations that offer information about self-detection if you do not have access or funds for a mammogram.”
Floor hopes to be well enough to embark on Nightwish’s upcoming European tour, which kicks off on November 20 in Antwerp, Belgium.
She added: “If I might inspire you to take good care of yourself, then something good will come out of this cancer diagnosis.
“If all goes as planned, I will be up and running in time for the European tour with Nightwish, that will start on the 20th of November! And I am optimistic since my prognosis is good! I promise to take good care of myself.
“I will be off the grid for a while to focus on myself. (sic)”
