OHMYGOSSIP — Pink takes inspiration from Tina Turner for her live shows.
The ‘What About Us’ hitmaker is hitting the road this summer on her ‘Summer Carnival’ stint before the ‘TRUSTFALL’ arena tour – supporting her new album of the same name – gets underway later in the year, and she has promised a special live show.
She told ‘Today’: “When you go and see Tina Turner and she’s 69 years old in Louboutins, running all around that stage sounding better than you ever have and dancing harder, you have no excuse.
“I’m gonna be 90 in a tutu, Pink-erbell flying through the air. Yeah, why wouldn’t I? It’s so much fun.”
She also reflected on the emotional significance of her song ‘Turbulence’ and admitted it’s a double edged sword that the track is relatable to so many people.
She added: “Everybody gets it. And that kind of makes me sad and happy all at the same time.
“I hate telling people what a song is about ’cause it’s whatever it’s about for you, but for me, it’s just sort of speaking to anxiety. And almost walking my daughter through it, down that road.
“My favorite line is ‘Even when you say you can’t/ I will watch you dance through this turbulence.’ ”
Meanwhile, the 43-year-old star recently revealed she felt “very numb” the first time she heard recent single ‘When I Get There’.
She explained: “I lost my dad in August of 2021. He had cancer for eight years. When that song was sent to me, I was very numb.
“I don’t grieve in a normal way, like how I see other people grieve. They have such instant access to their grief, it seems.
“I just kind of go numb. It takes me a really long time to unpack that suitcase, and that song was part of the unpacking. I heard it and I thought, ‘That’s my song.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande is returning to music with a remix of The Weeknd’s hit ‘Die For You’.
The pop superstar – who has not released an album since 2020’s ‘Positions’ – has teamed up with her friend and collaborator on a new version of his 2016 track from the album ‘Starboy’.
The ‘7 Rings’ hitmaker posted a viral clip of her editing her verse in the vocal booth on Tuesday (21.02.23).
She sings: “You know what I’m thinkin’, see it in your eyes / You hate that you want me, hate it when you cry.”
The Grammy winner teased in the caption: “Wrote and recorded a verse for my friend after a 14 hour day on set. This certain exception had to be made….”
Ariana is currently working long hours filming the two-part movie adaptation of smash hit Broadway musical ‘Wicked’, in which she plays Glinda.
The 29-year-old star and 33-year-old The Weeknd – whose real name is Abel Tesfaye – first teamed up on 2014’s ‘Love Me Harder’ from Ariana’s album ‘My Everything’. And in 2020, they duetted on ‘Off The Table’ on her LP ‘Positions’, while Ariana wowed on a remix of ‘Save Your Tears’ from his record ‘After Hours’.
The ‘Dangerous Woman’ singer recently reassured fans she is still very much a singer and reminded them of her vocal prowess on a rendition of ‘Over the Rainbow’ from 1939 classic ‘Wicked’.
After being asked by a TikTok user why she is no longer a singer, she replied: “Literally on set filming two musical movies all day every day.”
In the video, the ‘thank u next’ hitmaker – who initially covered the torch song made famous by Judy Garland as a charity single in May 2017 at her One Love Manchester benefit concert after 22 of her fans were killed in a terrorist attack following her concert in the North of England – was wrapped in a pink hooded blanket in an attempt to conceal her Glinda costume and hairdo.
She captioned the post: “wanted to sing you a little something but don’t want to sing anything that is not “Ozian” at the moment 🙂 keeping to my little bubble for now … done with lots of love (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ellie Goulding didn’t think she’d have a career to go back to if she didn’t return to work immediately after her son was born.
In hindsight, the ‘Easy Lover’ hitmaker admits returning to the music studio just three weeks after Arthur – her first child with husband Caspar Jopling – came into the world in May 2021 was “way too soon”, but she went into “survival mode”.
The pop star is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column as saying: “When I had Arthur I went straight back in the studio way too soon, way too soon.
“I was looking back at some pictures that were sent to me I think by Arthur’s granny that were like, ‘Oh, he’s missing you’ – he was only three weeks old and I was already back in the studio.
“When I think how small he was and how young he was I can’t believe that I left him behind to go and work, but I went into survival mode.
“I think we all did that where we though, ‘Right, we have to kickstart ourselves back in reality and normality.”
The ‘Love Me Like You Do’ singer admits that with streaming artists are expected to constantly be putting new music out – and it’s exhausting.
Ellie added: “The current rate of consumption is so high and so intense, It’s almost like you have to get on a train and it doesn’t stop.
“If you get off the train, then you become invisible.”
The 36-year-old star also teased that her new Calvin Harris collaboration should be on the way soon.
She said: “I’m pretty sure he wants to release it soon, which I’m very excited about.
“It’s good to get back together with him, good to get back in the studio.
“We clearly have a good thing together so we thought, ‘Yeah, why the hell not?’
“The song is very us but it’s also a little bit different and it’s maybe not what people expect.”
The singer and DJ will follow up 2013’s dance-pop tune ‘Need Your Love’ and 2014’s ‘Outside’ with the brand new track.
Ellie also releases her fifth studio album ‘Higher Than Heaven’ on March 24.

OHMYGOSSIP — Paul Weller is supporting Blur at their second Wembley Stadium show.
The Modfather, 2 tone ska revival band The Selecter and Snooker Champion/DJ Steve Davis will join the reunited Britpop legends at the London gig on July 9.
A second date was added at the 90,000-capacity venue after the first night, on July 8, swiftly sold out.
The ‘Song 2’ group – comprising Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James, and Dave Rowntree – are performing together for the first time in seven years.
They will also play Beauregard Festival in Hérouville-Saint-Clair, Normandy on July 6, however, the pair of Wembley shows are their only UK dates of 2023.
Lead guitarist Graham recently described playing Wembley for the first time as a dream come true.
He said: “Turns out it’s incredibly difficult to arrange something like this, you know, the technical resources, the staff, the places to play. All of these things are in very, very short supply.
“So it went right up to the wire, but it’s very hard to turn something like that down.
“We’re a band that’s done almost everything it’s possible to do … what an iconic place, what an iconic venue. It’s just incredibly exciting.”
He added: “It’s one of these iconic places that are secretly up on your bucket list, even though you pretend they’re not.
“I sincerely hope we are a band that can fill a stadium like that. I don’t want there to be four people and a dog.”
Blur haven’t toured together since their run in support of their comeback LP ‘The Magic Whip’ in 2015, though Damon reunited with his three bandmates at his Africa Express show in his hometown of Leytonstone in 2019.

OHMYGOSSIP — Graham Nash has announced his first solo album in seven years.
The former Hollies and Crosby, Stills and Nash member has shared the lead single ‘Right Now’ from ‘Now’, which is released in full on May 19.
Graham, 81, says the follow-up to 2016’s ‘This Path Tonight’ is the “most personal” collection of his career.
In a statement, the English-American musician said: “I believe that my new album ‘Now’ is the most personal one I have ever made.
“At this point in my life, that’s something to say.”
Graham is also embarking on the ‘Sixty Years of Songs and Stories’ US tour in April to mark the 60th anniversary of his first single with the Hollies.

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Graham’s late former bandmate David Crosby was working on new music and planned to tour before his death.
The rock legend passed away on January 18, aged 81, following a “long illness”.
However, according to his guitarist Steve Postell, he was “writing, playing, singing his a** off” in the week before his death and was expecting to put out a new album and hit the road.
Steve told Variety: “David didn’t think he was gonna last for years, which he joked about all the time. But there was no sense that we weren’t gonna be able to do this show and these tours.
“We were talking tour buses and what kind of venues and the whole team was all back together again – the road manager and tour manager and sound guys – on top of this band we’d put together. There was not even a remote sense that we weren’t about ready to hit the world. And it’s a shame people didn’t get to hear it.”
He added: “He was showing us new songs, like, ‘What do you think of these lyrics?’ He hadn’t lost the fire. I’d like people to know that he was on it.
“He was writing, playing, singing his a** off and preparing a fantastic show. That’s what he was doing. He was not lying in a bed for two years, out of it. That’s not what happened at all.”
The prolific artist’s last studio album was 2021’s ‘For Free’.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Jonas Brothers only have one featured artist on their upcoming LP ‘The Album’.
The ‘Sucker’ hitmakers – comprising siblings Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas – have revealed that the executive producer of the record, Jon Bellion, appears on one track.
Nick, 30, let slip in an interview with Billboard: “This is the first time we’ve said that, though, out loud.
“This is a big reveal here for Billboard: Jon is featured on one of our songs on ‘The Album’.”
Fans will finally get to hear the lead single, ‘Wings’, on Friday (24.02.23).
Joe, 33, said: “We didn’t really know which song to start with.
“We have love for all of them and it’s hard to call it a single. … I would call it an introduction song to the album. It really feels like a good entryway into what you’re gonna hear for the rest of the body of work.”
The pop group announced their new LP as they received their star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame in January.
The follow-up to their 2019 comeback record ‘Happiness Begins’ will be released on May 5.
Nick said: “We are excited to announce today that our new album, ‘The Album’, will be coming out 5 May. And we can’t wait to see you on tour later this year.”
The eldest brother, Kevin, 35, said receiving the star is a “testament” to the support of their fans.
He said: “This is a testament to the love and support of our fans, our family, and our friends who have been with us every step of the way. Thank you to everyone who has shown up, and even flown in, for this moment. We are so grateful to everyone who has made this possible, from our label to our management, to the media, and of course, most importantly, our fans. You have been the driving force behind everything we do, we couldn’t have done this without you. OHMYGOSSIP — Gorillaz’s Netflix film has been cancelled.
Damon Albarn has confirmed the streaming giant has cut the animated movie due to needing to make cutbacks in their “movie offerings”.
In a new interview with the Dutch-language Belgian outlet HUMO, he said: “The streaming platform for which we were making the film has withdrawn. They started to panic because they were making too much content and decided to cut back on their movie offerings.
“And, as has been classic Hollywood practice for decades, the guy we were working with has moved on to another company. From then on you have lost your guardian angel, and there seems to be a bad smell hanging on you. Hollywood is quite territorial: if a new guy comes along, he must and will have a different opinion, even if he secretly agrees with his predecessor.”
Damon first teased the animation project in a 2021 interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1.
He spilled at the time: “I’m at Netflix because we’re making a full-length Gorillaz film with Netflix. Yeah, we’re having a writing session in Malibu this afternoon.
“It’s really exciting to do that. It’s something we’ve been wanting to do for a very long time. It’s been through so many incarnations.
“Gorillaz doing a movie. Honestly. But Netflix, I don’t know. I mean, apart from them kind of running this city now, I mean – It’s just extraordinary to see how ubiquitous they are now. Yeah. They just seem like they’re a good creative team, you know? But I can’t say anything more about it, obviously, because… No, no, no.”
Gorillaz is the animated virtual band Damon founded with comic book artist Jamie Hewlett in 1998, comprising the characters 2-D, Murdoc Niccals, Russel Hobbs, and Noodle, and non-virtual member, producer Remi Kabaka Jr, as of 2016, who also voices Russel.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lorde and Sting have both called off shows in New Zealand following Cyclone Gabrielle.
The two singers have been forced to postpone and cancel their respective concerts after the destruction caused by the Category 3 cyclone, which hit the northern region of the country’s North Island on February 12 and tracked down the east coast with New Zealand declaring a state of emergency for only the third time in its history.
So far, 11 people have been confirmed dead with over 5,000 people still uncontactable across the country.
Lorde was set to perform two back to back shows in Hawke’s Bay – the hardest-hit area – from March 1.
She said in a statement on her Instagram Story: “Over the past week, I’ve been following the ongoing devastation in Hawke’s Bay.
“In line with advice from the venue, the police, and our promoter, I think the right thing to do is to postpone our Hawke’s Bay shows.
“This is a postponement, not a cancellation at this stage – I’m working on something, and you’ll hear from me soon.”
She added: “I would love to be there with you right now, but I can also read the room, and taking precious resources away from those who need them right now is not it.”
Sting has been forced to cancel his upcoming show at The Mission Estate Winery, which is in Hawke Bay’s wine region.
In a statement from concern organisers, it was revealed the decision was made out of “respect to those affected by the devastating impact of Cyclone Gabrielle”.
Meanwhile, New Zealand native Lorde will join artists including Marlon Williams, L.A.B. and Neil Finn at a special relief concert on Friday (24.02.23) at The Christchurch Town Hall.
All proceeds from the ‘ŌTAUTAHI 4 AOTEAROA’ show will go to the Red Cross New Zealand Disaster Fund.

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Feehily says it was like an “out-of-body” experience watching the Westlife tour go ahead without him last year.
The 42-year-old singer was out of action for four weeks after being struck down with pneumonia, forcing him to miss several of the band’s shows on their ‘Wild Dreams’ tour last year, and he is “very glad” the ordeal is behind him.
He said: “It was almost like being back in lockdown because, for the first couple of weeks, I was just in bed all the time.
“It was an almost out-of-body experience watching the Westlife tour go ahead while I lay in bed.
“It was the first time any of us had missed a stint of gigs in 25 years, and I’m very glad it’s behind me.”
Mark admitted he felt terrified when told he was suffering from pneumonia, because he wasn’t completely sure what that meant.
He is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column as saying: “At the start, the word pneumonia scared the living daylights out of me when the doctor first said it to me.”
But the star – who is currently touring Asia with the band – told how the doctor assured him it was like a “very bad chest infection” and he would be “fine” if it was treated properly and he took care of himself.
In November, it was revealed Mark had been forced to pull out of some of Westlife’s shows due to pneumonia.
He said in a statement: “Firstly, I’d like to say a huge sincere thank you to everybody for sending their and get well soon messages – it means so much. I was really gutted to miss the weekend shows in Newcastle but I started to feel quite unwell on Friday and doctors have confirmed that it is a bout of pneumonia.”
Mark vowed to return to the stage alongside his bandmates – Shane Filan, 43, Nicky Byrne, 44, and Kian Egan, 42 – as soon as he was given the “all-clear”.
He continued: “I have been informed that the quickest way to recovery is to rest and continue the antibiotics. I’m feeling a bit better every day. The nurses and motors are taking amazing care of me so it should all be over in no time.
“This does, however, mean missing more gigs which is horrible but I’ll be back on stage as soon as I get the all clear.
“Until then, Nicky, Shane and Kian will continue to fly the Westlife flag high for all of us. Please scream even louder than usual for those three legends in my absence! Sending love to you all, I hope to see you back on the road very soon!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Styles drank out of his own shoe on the first night of the Australian leg of his ‘Love On Tour’ world jaunt.
The ‘Kiwi’ singer gave in after chants from the crowd at HBF Park in Perth on Monday night (20.02.23) and completed the Aussie tradition of doing a ‘Shoey’, drinking alcohol, usually beer, from ones own shoe.
A man called Scott did a ‘Shoey’ before the crowd started chanting “your turn” repeatedly at Harry.
He then proceeded to take off his sneaker before pouring an unknown drink into the shoe and shaking his head in disgust.
Harry told the crowd: “This is one of the most disgusting traditions I’ve ever witnessed.”
The ‘As It Was’ hitmaker then did the deed and put his soggy shoe back on.
Harry, 29, then joked that he needed a therapy session to get over it.
He laughed: “I feel like a different person. I feel ashamed of myself. It feels so personal. Such an intimate moment to be shared with so many people. It’s fine when Scott does it… I’ll be discussing this with my therapist at length. At length.”
Harry’s tour Down Under comes after he swept the board at the BRIT Awards earlier this month.
He bagged all four gongs he was up for including the Artist of the Year prize.
The former One Direction singer also won Album of the Year for ‘Harry’s House’, Song of the Year for ‘As It Was’ and Best Pop/R+B Act.
His trophies take his BRIT Awards total from over the years to eight, and his latest wins followed his hit album ‘Harry’s House’ being named Best Album at the Grammys the week prior.
Harry said as he picked up the Song of the Year award: “This album (‘Harry’s House’), and this song was the most fun I’ve ever had making music. Thank you to everyone who listened.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Morrissey is seeking a “record label or private investor” to put out his new album ‘Without Music The World Dies’.
The former Smiths frontman – who was dropped by BMG in 2020 – left Capitol Records, as well as his management company, in December after signing a deal the previous year and has accused them of refusing to release his 14th solo LP ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers’.
And Morrissey has now announced another album he’s hoping to release, which he unveiled on his blog with the full track-listing.
At the bottom of the post, it reads: “Capitol Records Los Angeles recently terminated their contract with Morrissey, therefore if any record label or private investor has interest in releasing this project, please contact Donnie Knutson at marfagiant@gmail.com.”
The record is produced by his long-time producer Joe Chiccarelli.
Morrissey recently accused Capitol of shelving his album to “proudly” promote Sam Smith’s “satanism” on their album ‘Gloria’.
Writing on his website, Morrissey ranted: “Capitol Records (Los Angeles) proudly promotes Sam Smith’s ‘satanism’; yet they consider the honest truth of Morrissey’s factual ‘Bonfire of Teenagers’ to be their biggest threat and they will not release it despite their contractual obligation and promise to do so.”
The 63-year-old singer went as far as accusing Capitol of signing ‘Bonfire of Teenagers’, “in order to sabotage it”.
A statement on his website read: “Morrissey is ‘too diverse’ for Universal Music Group. Capitol Records (Los Angeles) will not, after all, release Morrissey’s 2021 album ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers’.
“At the same time, Capitol Records (Los Angeles) are holding on to the album.
“Although Morrissey officially signed to Capitol Records Los Angeles, there has been no mention of Morrissey on Capitol’s website or on their Artists roster.
“Morrissey has said that although he does not believe that Capitol Records in Los Angeles signed ‘Bonfire of Teenagers’ in order to sabotage it, he is quickly coming around to that belief.”
The ‘Big Mouth Strikes Again’ hitmaker had planned to release ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers’ this month but announced in November it had been delayed, with no new release date offered.
A brief statement at the time read: “‘Bonfire of Teenagers’ is no longer scheduled for a February release, as stated by this site.
“Its fate is exclusively in the hands of Capitol Records (Los Angeles).”

OHMYGOSSIP — Adam Lambert wanted to cover Billie Eilish because he “respects her artistry” and her “individuality”.
The ‘American Idol’ alumni put his own spin on the Grammy winner’s track ‘Getting Older’ – from her 2021 LP ‘Happier Than Ever’ – for his upcoming ‘High Drama’ LP, and he chose the track after finding the 21-year-old pop megastar’s views on getting older on the cusp of her 20s to be “pretty profound”.
The ‘Starstruck’ panellist explained: “I was listening to the lyrics and I was like, ‘How did a 19-year-old land on this feeling that I feel at 40, and that I’m sure someone feels at 30?’ It’s a universal feeling the idea of getting older. All of the things she talks about in the song are timeless, you can be any age and feel that way. I thought that was pretty profound.”
The full record is released on Friday (24.02.23), and also features covers of hits by Lana Del Rey, Sia and Kings of Leon.
Speaking to NME for the outlet’s In Conversation series, Adam said of Lana’s 2014 surf-rock tune ‘West Coast’: “It’s my favourite Lana Del Rey song.
“Probably because Dan Auerbach from Black Keys produced it. I love the Black Keys. It’s just a sexy song.”
He explained that he wanted to make his version like a Led Zeppelin song.
Adam added how they thought: “We could make this electric and harder and I could sing it really hard and it’d still work.”
The 41-year-old star has performed frontman duties for ‘We Will Rock You’ hitmakers Queen since 2012, in the place of late frontman Freddie Mercury, and recently admitted he copied one of the iconic singer’s boozy vocal techniques for ‘West Coast’.
He said: “I’d just finished recording my version of ‘Sex on Fire’ and my voice felt really raw.
“Brian May [Queen’s guitarist] told me how Freddie wasn’t well when he recorded, I think it was ‘Who Wants To Live Forever’ [sometime in 1986].
“Freddie prepared his voice by having a shot of vodka and recording his vocal in one take.
“I had tequila instead of vodka, then I sang this raw and Led Zeppelin-like version of Lana’s song – in one take too.”
As well as ‘Getting Older’, Adam’s versions of Duran Duran’s ‘Ordinary World’, Bonnie Tyler’s ‘Holding Out for a Hero’ and Noël Coward’s ‘Mad About the Boy’ are already out on streaming platforms.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ozzy Osbourne recorded a whole album with rock legend Steve Vai that is “sitting on the shelf”.
The Grammy-winning musician, producer and songwriter has revealed that he and the 74-year-old Black Sabbath frontman – who recently announced his retirement from touring due to debilitating health issues – recorded “some pretty good stuff” but he has “no control” over whether or not the music is released.
The former Whitesnake guitarist – who has made music with the likes of Alice Cooper, Motörhead and Mary J. Blige – told the music site Eonmusic: “Well, I’m sitting on a whole Ozzy record, and it’s like the GASH record — not ‘like’ the Gash record, but it’s a project that I recorded that’s sitting on the shelf.
“I don’t have any control over it or rights to it, obviously, but we did record some pretty good stuff.”
The pair were only meant to record one song together but got on so well, they ended up with a whole album.
Steve, 62, recalled: “Ozzy and I got carried away because we were having a lot of fun, and we ended up recording a lot of stuff, and then we started scheming, ‘Hey, let’s make a new record.’ And all that was fine and good, and we got excited about it until the hammer came down, and they basically said, ‘What are you doing? No, you’ve just got to take a song from Vai and finish your record. We’re already into it for this much money, and Vai is expense,’ so it worked out perfect, really.”
He revealed one of the tracks was a reworked version of VAI/GASH’s ‘Danger Zone’.
Steve continued: “One of the songs was [VAI / GASH’s] ‘Danger Zone’. I had already written it, and it was already done — it was a GASH track — and I thought, ‘Well, maybe he’d like this’, and I reworked it a bit, but it’s on the shelf.”
And another track from his 1996 LP ‘Fire Garden’.
He added: “There’s also a song called ‘Dyin’ Day’ that’s on my ‘Fire Garden’ album.
“That song originally had lyrics, and that was one.”
Steve admitted it was nerve-wracking following in the footsteps of Ozzy’s previous guitar players, including the legendary late Randy Rhoads, so he came up with a unique and “accessible” style.
He explained: “I thought, ‘Okay, you’re going to work with Ozzy, and all these incredible guitar players have played with Ozzy. What are you going to do?’ I was not going to be conventional.
“Yeah, that’s not me as you know, but I had to be accessible, so I thought, ‘I’m going to use an octave divider on everything.”
From the pair’s sessions in the 1990s, the pair co-wrote ‘My Little Man’, which ended up on Ozzy’s 1995 LP ‘Ozzmosis’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are set to headline a huge outdoor gig on Brighton’s seafront.
The former Oasis rocker and his band have been confirmed for the English seaside resort’s On The Beach series on July 30.
The Vaccines, The Coral and Supergrass frontman Gaz Coombes will support the ‘Easy Now’ singer.
Tickets go on general sale on Friday 24th February at 10am GMT. The pre-sale takes place on Thursday 23rd February at 10am GMT and fans can sign up for access at noelgallagherbrighton.com.
Noel is set to release his new album ‘Council Skies’ on June 2, the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Who Built the Moon?’.
Two singles have been released so far, ‘Pretty Boy’ and ‘Easy Now’.
The 55-year-old Britpop legend went back to his roots for the record.
He said of the album: “It’s going back to the beginning. Daydreaming, looking up at the sky and wondering about what life could be … that’s as true to me now as it was in the early ’90s. When I was growing up in poverty and unemployment, music took me out of that.
“‘Top of the Pops’ on TV transformed your Thursday night into this fantasy world, and that’s what I think music should be. I want my music to be elevating and transforming in some way.”
The LP features The Cure frontman Robert Smith, Pet Shop Boys and Johnny Marr.
The ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ singer also recently announced a special homecoming show in Manchester on August 26 at Wythenshawe Park.
For that date, he’ll be joined by special guests Primal Scream and Future Islands.
Meanwhile, Noel recently admitted he’ll “never say never” to an Oasis reunion.
He said: “You should never say never, [but] it would have to take an extraordinary set of circumstances.
“That’s not to say that those circumstances would never come about.”
The ‘Some Might Say’ group split in 2009 following a backstage bust-up between feuding siblings Noel and Liam, 50, at their final gig in France.
And when asked how he and the band’s former frontman are getting on these days, he replied: “Oh, brilliantly, yeah. Genuinely, yeah.
“He [Liam] has taken a year out apparently to find himself.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Niall Horan has insisted there is “no point” releasing the songs he’s recorded with Lewis Capaldi because they are “not good enough”.
The former One Direction singer confirmed he has been into the recording studio with the ‘Someone You Loved’ hitmaker but there is no plans for the tracks they put together to see the light of day because neither of them “adored” them enough.
He told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “There was a night we went into the studio and wrote a couple of songs.
“They clearly weren’t good enough because we would have heard them by now.
“One of them was actually decent to be fair. But you get one go at a collab and until we both absolutely adore it and spend more time in the studio, there’s not much point in releasing it I don’t think.”
The 28-year-old singer admitted he hasn’t spent a lot of time with Lewis lately because he’s trying to cut down on his partying.
He laughed: “We do get on very well behind the scenes.
“He’s just an absolute legend and it usually involves a lot of drinking so I’ve been trying to stay away from him for that reason – the hangovers come quick and fast and strong.”
At the moment, Niall is focusing on his “more mature” upcoming third solo LP ‘The Show’, which will be released in June.
He said of the album: “Its the album of a 30 year old really, isn’t it?
“It’s got a bolder, more mature sound to it, the thoughts are bigger and the production sounds more mature across the board even though I still have my baby voice.”

OHMYGOSSIP — John Lennon’s former home inspired Judas Priest’s 1980 classic ‘Living After Midnight’.
The heavy metal band’s guitarist Glenn Tipton has recalled how the song came about while the band were working on their iconic LP ‘British Steel’ at Tittenhurst Park, where the old residence of the late Beatles frontman is situated in Berkshire, England.
In the early hours, he and frontman Rob Halford created the tune sat opposite Lennon’s famous piano from the ‘Imagine’ music video.
He recalled: “We were working on the songs for ‘British Steel’ at Tittenhurst Park, which had been John Lennon’s old home before he sold it to [Sir] Ringo Starr.
“We’d been out at the pub, and when we got back quite late, I started working on some ideas in the living room, but the noise woke Rob. His bedroom was right above. He came down and said he couldn’t get the riff out of his head, so I asked him to sing some lyrics right there on the spot and he came up with, ‘Living after midnight, loving till the dawn.’ That was how we used to live our life back in those days.”
He continued: “I should mention that it was very surreal sitting in the living room with John Lennon’s white piano there – the one he played ‘Imagine’ on in the video for that song.”
He added to Guitar Player magazine: “It was really a very simple riff that just worked.
“We finished the music before Rob worked on finishing the lyrics. We didn’t have a working title or anything other than the idea that Rob had come up with for the chorus. I think the riff just spoke for itself and like every great song that we ever wrote, it came together really fast. The best songs always do. It was almost fully formed from the outset. It didn’t evolve through any different approaches or stylistic changes; it was just born from nothing and worked immediately.”
