OHMYGOSSIP — Suede are re-releasing their landmark self-titled debut LP as ‘Suede30’ to mark its 30th anniversary.
To mark three decades since the release of the Mercury Music Prize-winning LP, which shot to the top of the UK album chart upon its release in 1993, fans will be able to listen to the record clearer than ever before in Dolby Atmos, thanks to the audio being newly mastered by Phil Kinrade from the original tapes and production masters, and signed off by the LP’s original producer Ed Buller.
Recalling making the record in 1992, frontman Brett Anderson, 55, said: “It was a genuinely magical time in my life and one for which I’ll always be grateful. It felt incredible being in what I thought was quite probably the most exciting band in the world at the time, making a record which felt like more than just another band making another album.”
The band are releasing a special Blu-Ray audio edition centred on a 5.1 mix and Dolby Atmos treatment created by the musician and producer Steven Wilson; a half-speed master edition pressed on 180g black vinyl; a newly mastered 2CD edition complete with B-sides, the limited edition full album picture disc with newly reimagined bespoke sleeve, and highly collectable 30th anniversary 7″ picture discs of the band’s classic first four singles, ‘The Drowners’ / ‘To The Birds’, ‘Metal Mickey’ / ‘Where The Pigs Don’t Fly’, ‘Animal Nitrate’ / ‘The Big Time’ and ‘So Young’ / ‘High Rising’, each featuring the original and striking cover artwork on the discs.
Bassist Mat Osman, also 55, added: “So, 30 years ago, this is where it all began. A mixture of the live songs that had won us a following and our first experiments in the studio. Listening back now it still has that sense of wildness, and drama, and possibility of those early days. So young and so gone, indeed!”
The 2CD Deluxe Gatefold edition of ‘Suede’ comes with nine B-sides on a second CD, along with a cover of ‘Brass in Pocket’, originally recorded for an NME covermount cassette. The two CDs are presented in brand new seven-inch deluxe gatefold packaging, with an 8-page booklet including lyrics and credits.
The original artwork of two naked women kissing courted some controversy at the time, with Brett responding in an interview with The Independent at the time: “I chose it because of the ambiguity of it, but mostly because of the beauty of it.”
All formats are available to pre-order now ahead of global release on July 7.
For Record Store Day 2023, the album’s demos are issued on vinyl for the first time in specially-commissioned sleeve artwork, created by Brett, which resembles a cassette inlay.
Meanwhile, the Brit rock legends continue their UK ‘Autofiction’ tour in support of their ninth studio album with two nights at London’s Brixton Academy on December 15 and 16.
A press release teases that “further activity” is to be “announced soon”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sigala has credited Danny Jones with getting him “into dance music”.
The ‘Feels This Good’ DJ and producer has opened up on how a meeting with the McFly star during his university days led to him exploring EDM as he learned the skills he needed to embrace house and dance music.
He told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “I honestly think Danny Jones was the person that got me into dance music because I was at university and one of the guys at the course was like, ‘Do you wanna come and work with my friend? He’s in McFly’, and I was like, ‘Sick yeah, I’d love to’.
“We go around to Danny’s house and Danny plays me some of the stuff he’s been working on and it’s like all this pretty hard EDM.
“I thought we would be writing a rock/pop song but I was like, ‘This is insane. Please get me involved.’ ”
The DJ – whose real name is Bruce Fielder – had already been producing for a while, and they spent a long time collaborating.
He added: “I had been producing for a long time before that, so I had the chops to get involved.
“I was making little tunes and sending them to him and we worked on stuff for a good six months to a year together.”
While Danny’s band then joined forces with Busted for the McBusted supergroup in 2013, Sigala – whose second studio album will be released in September – pursued his solo career and he is grateful for everything he learned from the ‘Five Colours In Her Hair’ hitmaker.
He said: “I have a lot to thank Danny for. He gave me confidence to be able to do it on my own and he was really lovely to me and taught me a lot.
“Of all the people to get you into dance music, Danny is quite a random one.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Metallica are closing in on their first UK number one album since 2008.
The heavy metal band’s 11th studio album ’72 Seasons’ is said to be performing so well this week they are 26,000 sales in front of their closest chart rival The Weeknd, with his 2021 album ‘The Highlights’.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Metallica are absolutely flying with ’72 Seasons’ and ecstatic at the reception to the record in the UK.
“This will be their first UK No1 album since 2008, so it means a lot to them.”
Should the group – made up of Lars Ulrich, James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo – hit the number one spot, it will be their fourth time at the summit of the UK albums chart.
The ’72 Seasons’ title is a reference to the band members’ first 18 years of their lives – 18 springs, 18 summers, 18 autumns and 18 winters.
Metallica drummer Lars admitted last week he was a “bit of a loner” when he was 18, but that inspired him to set up a band.
He told the publication: “I was an only child and a bit of a loner.
“I wasn’t super-awkward but had issues of abandonment and of never fitting in.
“That’s why I formed a band. I was seeking the solace of being in a gang – a sense of belonging.”
While the ‘For Whom The Bell Tolls’ hitmakers are now widely regarded as one of the most influential and successful heavy metal bands of all time, Lars insists they are “still outsiders”.
He said: “We’ve spent 40 years hovering on the edges and not being truly accepted. We’re still outsiders.
“If I look at my formative years, my school experiences and my coming-of-age experiences, there are a lot of parallels between me and the other band members.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher has shared the title track from his upcoming album ‘Council Skies’.
The former Oasis guitarist and songwriter reflects on his youth daydreaming under the stars on a council estate in Manchester – where he grew up with his sibling and ex-bandmate Liam, 50, and their mum Peggy, who still lives in the same house – on the wistful tune, which boasts strings recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios.
Noel, 55, said: “All the dreams I had as a youth were underneath council skies.”
The music video for the single sees Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds perform the song in his home city’s New Century Hall – which has hosted concerts by music legends including Jimi Hendrix and The Rolling Stones.
A press release teases that “the music video also features a cameo from another Mancunian legend…”
However, fans will have to wait until 6pm BST, when the promo premieres on YouTube, to find out who that is.
‘Council Skies’ follows the release of the singles ‘Pretty Boy’ featuring Johnny Marr, ‘Easy Now’, and ‘Dead To The World.
The latter of which, Noel said is “by some distance my favourite tune on the album.”
He continued: “It has this film noir vibe. It’s not like anything else I’ve ever done before.
“It’s very melancholic, but I like that. I’m a Gemini – I’m as up as I am down, and the trick is to meet somewhere in the middle and turn that into music.”
Noel joined forces with Rosie Danvers, a long-time High Flying Birds collaborator, to create the song, and he relished the experience of working with her.
The musician said: “Rosie gets what I do. Spending a weekend recording strings in Abbey Road … that’s one of the great privileges in a musician’s life. It sounds majestic.”
The full album is released on June 2.
The band are also set to perform at various outdoor venues and festivals in the UK in the coming months, starting at PennFest on July 21, and finishing in Sheffield on September 1.
The ‘Stop The Clocks’ singer and his band will then embark on a UK arena run, kicking off at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on December 14.

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift has performed a U-turn and will allow herself to repeat surprise songs from ‘Midnights’ on the ‘Eras Tour’.
The pop megastar had originally vowed to “never” do the same song again at each show of her global jaunt, but she’s been having too much fun playing tracks from her 2022 album.
Speaking at one of her concerts in Tampa, Florida recently, she told the crowd: “When I started the tour, I said, ‘In the acoustic section, I am never repeating a song. I’m never doing songs more than once.
“But now I’m like, ‘Ugh, there are so many songs I want to do more than once.”
The ‘Karma’ singer added: “So, I’m making a little caveat to the rule, which is that if a song is on ‘Midnights’, I can do it however many times I want because ‘Midnights’ is, like, the most accurate picture of my life to date.”
The 33-year-old Grammy winner also allows herself to repeat a surprise song if she’s messed it up.
Fans have got to see Taylor do surprise acoustic renditions of ‘The Great War’ with Aaron Dessner, ‘You’re On Your Own, Kid’, ‘Speak Now’ and ‘Our Song’ so far.
The ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker recently said she was getting “tricksy” by throwing in different surprise songs at each show.
Taylor promised that not one single show will be the same on her current jaunt.
Speaking on stage at her gig in Arlington, Texas, last month, she said: “Let one thing be said about the Eras Tour.
“You think you can just go online, you think you can just scroll and know the setlist? You think you can just come prepared with your little flashcards in your pockets. ‘I know what’s next. I know what she wears next. I know what she sings next.”
She added: “Let it be said about the Eras Tour, we’re tricksy.
“That’s what we are. We enjoy a good, healthy setlist hijinks.”
Meanwhile, the ‘All Too Well’ singer recently made a young fan’s day when she signed a letter the little girl had written to her.
Concert-goer Gina Lanzino revealed that her seven-year-old daughter had written a note to the ‘Love Story’ hitmaker and passed it to an usher in the hopes of getting it to Taylor, but was doubtful that it would be a possibility.
Speaking in a video posted to TikTok, Gina said: “Okay, quick little story time. Me and my daughter went to the ‘Eras’ tour, I got the t-shirt. My daughter is seven years old. So she writes this letter, it says ‘Dear Taylor, I’m your biggest fan. My favorite colour is… what’s yours?’ She drew a little picture and she says, ‘I’m gonna bring this to the show and make sure that Taylor gets this letter. I was kinda like, ‘I don’t really think that’s going to happen, but let’s try.’
“So she brought the letter and as soon as we got into the stadium, there was a guy standing there in a suit, probably just an usher. She says to him, ‘Hey, I have this letter for Taylor. Can you make sure it gets to her?’ He kinda chuckled, and we smiled and he said, ‘I’ll see what I can do, I’ll try really hard.’ And she was happy with that, and I figured that would be the last we would hear of this letter.”
Gina went on to reveal that halfway through the concert, four men in suits who appeared to be part of the tour’s team arrived at their section in the stadium looking for the little girl because Taylor had signed the letter herself and wanted to give it back to Bella.
The tour continues on Friday (21.04.23) with three consecutive nights in Houston, Texas.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bring Me The Horizon will return with their new single, ‘Lost’, on May 4.
Oli Sykes and co shared a preview clip of the music video for their first song of 2023 on their social media channels on Wednesday (19.04.23) evening.
The frontman – who has previously battled a ketamine addiction and also battled depression – can be seen laying down with drool coming from his mouth and a pool of tablets across the floor.
He sings: “Someone tell me / Why am I this way? / Stupid mеdicine, not doin’ anything / What the hell is f****** wrong with me? / I guess there’s no remedy / I’m so terribly lost.”
The ‘Throne’ rockers are once again working with studio wizard Zakk Cervini, who produced their 2020 collection ‘Post Human: Survival Horror’.
The band have been recording new music on their tour bus.
The ‘Happy Song’ rockers installed a studio on their bus during their tour of the US at the end of 2022 and recorded a number of songs, which they teased they hope to start releasing “pretty soon”.
Drummer Mat Nicholls told Impericon earlier this year: “New songs coming? Yeah. We’re actually working on them at the minute. We’ve got a studio on our bus. We did it in America – we wrote a bunch of stuff, actually, and recorded some stuff in America as well. So hopefully one pretty soon.
“As for the basics of a record, we’ve got some good stuff coming along. It took a while. These things are always hard, especially for us, because our band’s quite perfectionist, and we change our mind a lot as well. You’ll write something one day and think it’s wicked, and then you’ll go away and come back to it and you don’t think it’s as good as you thought it was originally.
“It’s coming, just trust us, trust the process. We’ve got some good stuff coming along, and hopefully this tour we’ve got some downtime where usually we just play FIFA, but instead we’re trying to write music. It’s coming along well, and we should have a song, at least, very soon.”
Last year, the band teamed up with Ed Sheeran on a heavy version of his hit single ‘Bad Habits, as well as featuring on tracks with Machine Gun Kelly and Sigrid.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Sugababes have recalled receiving a “pep talk” from their idol, Victoria Beckham.
The girl group were blown away by how nice the Spice Girl was to them when they were nervously waiting for their appearance on the now-defunct music show, ‘CD:UK’.
Keisha Buchanan, 38, told Rebecca Judd on Apple Music: “I remember we did ‘CD:UK’ and at the time Victoria Beckham was doing her solo stuff. I remember meeting her and being so excited because I was a huge Spice Girls fan. We all were. In year seven I got loads of girls together and I was like, ‘Right, we need to make a band. We need to perform like the Spice Girls.'”
The girls were so enamoured with Posh Spice, 49, that they didn’t care less that her heartthrob, then-footballer spouse, David Beckham, 47, was sat outside.
Siobhán Donaghy, also 38, added: “I love that David Beckham was sat outside the room and none of us even noticed him. We were like, ‘Whatever.’
“She was really lovely, she gave us a little pep talk before we went on and it was quite nice. She was like, ‘Have fun.’ She was trying to relax us and make sure we weren’t nervous. She was really lovely.”
Elsewhere, the girls revealed they had no idea that their 2003 hit ‘Too Lost in You’ was going to be featured in the rom-com classic ‘Love Actually’, released that same year.
Mutya Buena, 37, said: “We didn’t [know it was going to be used in the film].”
Keisha continued: “We went out to LA to record with Diane Warren. We went in with her and she played us many different songs. It was one of the songs that we didn’t actually write. We heard it, it was a stripped-back version of it, loved it, vocalled it. Then we came back to the UK, we knew it was going to be on our album, not for a soundtrack. And then later on, obviously they approached us about that, which was really lovely. It was a great time.”
Keisha revealed she had to cover her eye with her hair for the music video because she had an infection.
She recalled: “I remember one of my memories about that song was we were shooting the video and I got this weird eye infection and I remember my eye swelled up massively. Then we had to shoot, I don’t know if you can remember, we had to shoot with my hair over my eye.”
Mutya admitted that she regularly watches the Richard Curtis film starring the likes of Hugh Grant, Dame Emma Thompson, Bill Nighy and Martine McCutcheon just to hear the song.
She confessed: “I watch it literally every day [‘Love Actually’]. It’s actually so refreshing to watch it and then hear your music because it’s just a really big accomplishment. Especially when the whole of England’s listening to it or watching the film. It’s just nice.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be supported by The Chicks and James Bay at American Express presents BST Hyde Park.
The Boss and his band will rock the London park on July 6 and July 8, with support from the country band and Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls on the Thursday, and The Chicks and ‘Hold Back The River’ hitmaker James on the Saturday.
The Chicks quipped on Twitter: “If we were gonna let anyone else be the Boss, it’s
@springsteen! London we’ll see you this July in Hyde Park!”
The ‘Born in the U.S.A.’ hitmaker, 73, and his band also play Edinburgh’s BT Murrayfield Stadium on May 30, and Birmingham’s Villa Park on June 16.
The shows will mark their first live concerts in the UK since the 2016 ‘River Tour’.
It was recently announced that Guns N’ Roses will be joined by The Pretenders, The Darkness and Larkin Poe at BST on June 30.
Other artists performing at the 10th anniversary of the summer concert series include Pink with Gwen Stefani (June 24 and 25), Take That (July 1), BLACKPINK (July 2), and Billy Joel (July 7).
The summertime event was launched by The Rolling Stones in 2013 when they recreated their 1969 gig.
Since then, the likes of Carole King, Celine Dion, Stevie Wonder, Barbra Streisand, Adele, The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, Robbie Williams, Black Sabbath, Take That, Kylie Minogue, The Who, Blur, Kendrick Lamar, The Strokes, have headlined.

OHMYGOSSIP — Camila Cabello is to make her music return on May 12, with a song that appears to reference her spending time with ex Shawn Mendes at Coachella.
The ‘Don’t Go Yet’ hitmaker has shared a preview of the track, seemingly called ‘June Gloom’, on her Instagram.
She simply captioned the recording with the date: “4.12,” and added the bunch of flowers emoji.
In the telling lyrics that come days after she was seen smooching her ‘In My Blood’ hitmaker former partner, she sings: “How can you be so much better? This is going to end ever?
I guess so I’ll figure out and find out.
“Are you comin’ to Coachella? If you don’t, miss, whatever. If you do, honey, it will be all I think about.”
The celebrity duo “still care about each other” – despite announcing their split almost two years ago.
A source told ‘Entertainment Tonight’ this week: “Camila and Shawn were talking and spending time together for months before Coachella.
“They always had a lot of love for each other, even while they were broken up. They still care about each other.”
Camila, 26, and Shawn, 24, always planned to meet each other at Coachella. But, in spite of their kiss, the duo are not back together.
The insider added: “They knew they were both heading to Coachella and had plans to meet up and hang out.
“Shawn and Camila had been in touch the last few weeks and have cleared the air about their break-up. There is still a connection between them and both of them shared they still care about one another. It’s very casual at this point.
“Shawn and Camila let loose during night one of Coachella and were just having fun. There is still undeniable chemistry between the two and everyone around them can feel it.”
Camila and Shawn announced their breakup via a joint statement in 2021.
The brunette beauty – who shot to fame as part of Fifth Harmony – and Shawn insisted at the time that they would remain friends.

OHMYGOSSIP — Richard Hawley, Patty Griffin and more lead the final line-up additions for Black Deer Festival 2023.
Days after it was reported that actor Damian Lewis had joined the bill and will play Kent’s Eridge Park on the same day his debut album ‘Mission Creep’ is released, on June 16, a handful of new names have been added to the already stacked line-up.
Joining the ‘Band of Brothers’ star, 52, is Mercury Prize-nominated artist Richard Hawley – who has collaborated with the late Lisa Marie Presley, plus Arctic Monkeys, Manic Street Preachers, Elbow, and Paul Weller over the years.
The legendary Patty Griffin is returning to the UK for the first time in four years and for the first time since the Grammy winner dropped her 2022 album ‘TAPE’.
And Brandy Clark and Grace Petrie will also perform at the Americana festival, which takes place between June 16 and 18.
Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones’ side project Far From Saints will make their festival debut at Black Deer.
The ‘Maybe Tomorrow’ hitmaker and The Wind and The Wave’s Patty Lynn and Dwight Baker will perform tracks from their self-titled debut album on June 16, the day of its release.
The Pretenders, Midlake, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Bear’s Den, Midlake, Steve Earle were also recently added.
Other previously confirmed acts include Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats, Lucinda Williams, The Teskey Brothers, Calexico, Allison Russell, and the legendary Bonnie Raitt.

OHMYGOSSIP — Motley Crue are working on new music.
The band’s bassist Nikki Sixx confirmed the news in a post on social media telling fans the group have been busy putting together some new songs and they are planning to head back into the studio this week to start recording – however, the rocker insisted they don’t “have a definite plan” and are just being guided by the music.
In a post on Twitter, Nikki wrote: “We are writing.The creative process of songwriting has always been the heartbeat of our band. We’re gonna go in the big studio next week and record a few off the floor and see where it goes. We don’t have a definitive plan at this point.Just letting the songs guide us.”
Over the weekend (16-16.04.23), Nikki added another post in which he stated: “Creative juices flowing on a weekend.”
The band won’t have much time to get their new tracks recorded as they are just days away from heading to Europe to continue their joint tour with Def Leppard. The dates kick off in Sheffield, UK on May 22 before heading to countries including Germany, Poland, Italy and Norway.
News of the band’s return to the studio comes amid a legal battle with guitarist Mick Mars who has accused them of trying to force him out after he had to step back from touring due to health issues.
He filed as lawsuit at Los Angeles County’s Superior Court in early April in which he claimed his bandmates had been “gaslighting” him and belittling his musicianship.
Motley Crue’s attorney Sasha Frid later told Variety that Mick filed the suit to “badmouth the band”, saying: “After the last tour, Mick publicly resigned from Motley Crue. Despite the fact that the band did not owe Mick anything – and with Mick owing the band millions in advances that he did not pay back – the band offered Mick a generous compensation package to honour his career with the band. Manipulated by his manager and lawyer, Mick refused and chose to file this ugly public lawsuit.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Frank Ocean’s fans were left dismayed after YouTube announced there would be no livestream of the star’s first performance in six years at Coachella.
The 35-year-old star’s livestream was pulled from the schedule, and there was an uproar from fans.
The streaming platform tweeted: “Frank Ocean is not scheduled to appear on the Coachella livestream. The current schedule is in the description.”
Frank’s set kicked off at 10.05pm PDT, but fans not attending the music festival in Indio, California, have no way of viewing the performance, having to rely on fan footage.
One user fumed: “Are you f***ing kidding me?”
It was also suggested that the livestream may have been pulled as Frank might be debuting his entire new album live.
Another user wrote: “What if Frank Ocean performs an entirely new album that drops tonight and all of our lives just drastically improve and the world heals.”
He did end up giving the live debut of the likes of ‘Florida’ and ‘Come On World, You Can’t Go!’, plus new versions of ‘Chanel’ and ‘White Ferrari’.
Earlier this year, Frank suggested he had a new album on the way.
The ‘Nights’ star had previously made it known that he would release new music as one-off singles instead of album form, but he seemingly had a change of heart and teased a potential follow-up to 2016’s ‘Blonde’ on a poster for his merchandise.
The print notes that a “fictitious recording artist” (seemingly Ocean) preferred “the singles distribution model as opposed to the long-form album model,” as it was “more suited to modern consumption habits.”
The biggest hint yet that another LP is on the way came with the admission that: “The Recording Artist has since changed his mind about the singles model, and is again interested in more durational bodies of work.”
The ‘Novacane’ hitmaker wiped his Instagram page clear back in September, suggesting new music was imminent.
Since ‘Blonde’, fans have had a slew of singles, including ‘DHL’, ‘In My Room’, ‘Cayendo’ and ‘Dear April’.
Frank also aired unreleased music on his ‘Blonded Radio’ show.

OHMYGOSSIP — Frank Ocean confirmed a new album is on the way during his Coachella headline set.
The ‘Chanel’ hitmaker made his return to the stage after six years at the world-famous festival on Sunday night (16.04.23), and he told the crowd there is a follow-up to 2016’s ‘Blonde’ on the way.
He said: “I wanna talk about why we’re here … because it’s not about the new album… not that there’s NOT a new album.”
Excited fans waited over an hour for the star to take to the stage just after 11pm, despite his scheduled stage time of 10.05pm.
According to Rolling Stone’s live report, Frank kept interactions with the crowd “to a minimum”.
However, as well as sharing an update on his album, he recalled attending Coachella with his late brother, Ryan Breaux, who tragically died in a car accident in 2020.
The 35-year-old singer shared: “My brother and I came to this festival a lot. I feel like I was dragged by him sometimes because I didn’t want to get a respiratory infection… I would always come here, and one of my fondest memories is watching Rae Sremmurd with my brother… and Travis [performed] in that tent.”
Thanking his fans for their support over the years, he added: “I know he would be so excited to be here with all of us. I want to say thank you for the support and the years and the love all this time. Now I’ll get back to the songs.”
The set wasn’t live-streamed on YouTube like most other performances, with the video-sharing platform earlier tweeting: “Frank Ocean is not scheduled to appear on the Coachella livestream. The current schedule is in the description.”

OHMYGOSSIP — BLACKPINK made history as the first Korean act to headline Coachella.
After the ‘Pink Venom’ hitmakers – comprising Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa — became the first K-pop girl group to play the world-famous music extravaganza in 2019, they are now officially the first Korean talent to have topped the bill on the main stage at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Rosé told the crowd during their performance on Saturday (15.04.23): “So … let me start off with, four years ago we were invited to perform here for you at Coachella at the Sahara tent and that made a mark in all of our hearts.
“I must say, this is a dream come true … the reason all four of us are here is because of you.”
Jennie added: “We are so so happy to be back here.
“It’s crazy within the four years we made it from Sahara to main stage … we love you, Coachella.”
The group’s epic set went down a storm with the girls getting hot and sweaty in the California Desert and joking that it was because of their fans, who they affectionately call Blinks.
After high-energy performances of fan-favourites including ‘Pretty Savage’ and ‘Kick It’, Rosé said: “It is getting … absolutely… hot. I think it’s because of the Blinks, it’s so hot because of you guys.”
The group previously documented their journey to Coachella 2019 on their Netflix documentary, ‘Light Up the Sky’.
The film tracks the early stages of their career, right up until their set on the Sahara tent stage.
In a statement, BLACKPINK – who formed in Seoul in 2016 – said at the time: “We can’t wait to share our personal stories with Blinks all over the world through Netflix!
“We hope this film will bring joy and light to the viewers, and they will enjoy seeing our journey together on screen from the past four years.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Ora’s biggest inspiration is the LGBTQ+ community.
The ‘Hot Right Now’ hitmaker – who is bisexual and married to filmmaker Taika Waititi – explained how with every song she makes, she sets out to make people “feel like they can be themselves and come out of their shell.”
Speaking to DJ Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim for the latest edition of The Big Issue magazine, she said: “Inspiration with all my songs was always the community that I was most accepted in. And for me it was the LGBT+ community. For decades, even before I thought I’d have a music career it was, would they accept it, will they listen to it in the clubs? That was always my vision, and that’s why I guess I always had this relationship with rave and dance music because it’s such a vibrant, confident, confidence-boosting genre. That’s always what’s behind my music, making people feel like they can be themselves and come out of their shell.”
The pair have teamed up on a remake of Fatboy’s 1998 hit ‘Praise You’ called ‘Praising You’, which is out on April 19.
And the 59-year-old hitmaker praised the 32-year-old pop star for breathing “new life” into the song.
He told her: “While we’re blowing smoke up each other’s a****, you breathe new life into it. I’ve listened to that tune an awful lot and it is easy to get jaded about it, but you’ve definitely taken it in a different direction for me.”
For Rita, she wrote her part about being head-over-heels in love.
She said: “The way I wrote it was being madly in love with someone and having fun with that person. When you love a person you do praise them. You feel like they can do no wrong. So that’s what my version of the record is about.
“And dancing in your feelings, because it’s the best feeling in the world.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Halsey has parted ways with Capitol Records after eight years.
The ’11 Minutes’ singer’s managers, Anti-Pop’s Jason Aron and Anthony Li, have confirmed Halsey has departed the major label and also teased new music is on the way.
In a statement issued to Variety, they said: “After eight great years the decision to leave Capitol is bittersweet, but we are excited about exploring a new partnership and sharing new music with fans.”
The label added: “Everyone at Capitol poured their hearts and souls into helping Halsey achieve their dreams and present their music to the world.
“We are incredibly proud of all we accomplished together, and wish Halsey the very best in all their future endeavours.”
While no reason for the split was made clear, the 28-year-old pop star previously got into a dispute with Capitol about their song ‘So Good’, with the label allegedly wanting the track to go viral on TikTok before its release.
In an ironically viral TikTok, Halsey claimed the label wouldn’t release the tune, “unless they can fake a viral moment on TikTok.”
They had wrote in the caption: “Basically I have a song that I love that I wanna release ASAP.
“But my record label won’t let me.”
They later shared a clip of the track on the video-sharing app and said: “After a tremendous amount of f*** s***, ‘So Good’ is finally coming out June 9th. Video dropping the next day. And now I can go back to using TikTok for my real plan: Using witchcraft to take over the world.
“Thanks for keeping up with this fiasco.
“Hope you love the song.”
