OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie T hailed his Finsbury Park concert in London as the “biggest moment of my life”.
The 37-year-old singer/songwriter played his biggest ever headline show in North London on Friday night (01.07.23) and praised the tens of thousands of fans who turned out in the rain to watch him and his band.
He said: “Hello Finsbury Park, thank you for coming down. You guys look good in the neighbourhood right now.
“Are you with us? Because this is the biggest moment of my life right now.”
Wearing his trademark cap with shorts and a shirt, Jamie opened his set with new single ‘Hippodrome’ and followed it up with ’90s Cars’, ‘Operation’ and ‘Salvador’ among other tracks.
Jamie – real name Jamie Alexander Treays – took a moment mid-set to thank his fans for making the concert so special.
He said: “We’ve been doing this for near enough 20 years and this is the first time we’ve ever played our set in the dark.
“This means the world to us, thank you so much.”
Jamie closed his set with ‘If You Got The Money’ and after the crowd cheered for him to return he stepping back on stage wearing a vintage AFC Wimbledon football shirt.
During his encore he played ‘Back in the Game’, ‘Sheila’ and ‘Sticks and Stones’, which he dedicated the song to his long-term friend Joe Bispham, describing the night as a “family affair” and led fans in rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ for his drummer Alex.
Jamie closed his show with his 2014 single ‘Zombie’ – from his third studio album ‘Carry On the Grudge’ – as fireworks lit up the night sky.
The indie rocker was supported by Willie J Healy, Hak Baker, Kojey Radical and Idles.

OHMYGOSSIP — Former One Direction bandmates Liam Payne and Zayn have seemingly put the past behind them after the former praised the latter’s new music preview.
After Zayn, 30, teased his solo comeback single – which is due out this summer – on Instagram, Liam, 29, praised what he heard in the comments.
He wrote: “This sounds big already,” to which Zayn replied: “Appreciate it bro, thanks for the love.”
The rare interaction between the pair caused them to trend on Twitter.
During a controversial interview with Logan Paul last year, Liam claimed there are “many reasons” why he doesn’t like Zayn.
He said: “There’s many reasons why I dislike Zayn and there’s many reasons why I’ll always, always be on his side.”
He later claimed he “didn’t leave the house for three months” following the backlash over the interview.
The ‘Strip That Down’ hitmaker not only caused a stir with his Zayn comments, but he declared having a child – six-year-old son Bear – had “ruined” his relationship with Cheryl, 40, and insisted that One Direction were formed around him and he had outsold all their solo efforts with his own debut single.
And he admitted the way fans “turned on” him led him down a dark path.
He wrote on his Instagram Story: “It got quite dark for me for one point when you guys turned on me. I didn’t leave the house for 3 months.(sic)”
Liam admitted he had other issues going on at the time but he’s glad to have turned a corner.
He continued: “You guys know I’m sorry about all that stuff I love my boys not sure what was going on with me other than I had a problem with me and I took it out on everyone else…
“Never had a bigger chip on my shoulder and I’m really glad to lose it.
“I’m hoping that you guys can forgive me in time because we’ve been through far to much but the jokes are funny keep em coming.(sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — x believes he has around “five years left” of being “physically” able to tour as he does now with Slipknot.
The 49-year-old heavy metal legend has predicted that by the time he has reached his mid-50s, he won’t be able to keep up with his gruelling tour routine and deliver “quality” performances.
However, the ‘Duality’ rocker has vowed to continue for as long as possible because his “heart and soul needs it”.
He told Germany’s Rock Antenne: “As long as I can physically do it, and as long as there are people there to see it, man, I’ll continue to do it.
“Now, if the quality starts to fail, then I’ll know it’s time to hand it in. And I’ve already thought about it — I’ve already thought about, maybe I’ve got another five years left of physically touring like this. I try to take care of myself. I work out when I can.”
He admitted: “The travel out here [in Europe] is exhausting; the food is horrible; so, it makes it hard to do that. But as long as I can keep at it, that’s at least what I wanna do. So, yeah, it is what it is.”
When the time comes for him to step down as frontman, Corey will assist the rest of the group in sourcing a worthy replacement to lead the band.
He added: “This band has always been bigger than the sum of its own parts. And it was hard moving on without Paul [Gray] It was hard moving on when we had to part ways with Joe [Joey Jordison].
“It’s always been hard when the original nine ceases to be the original nine, but at the same time, the ones who are here are here because we love it, and we’ve always gotten something out of it.
“I’ve said it since day one — if I didn’t want to do Slipknot, I wouldn’t do it. And I think I’ve proved that. The reason I stick around is because I want to do it. There’s still something in my heart and my soul that needs it. I don’t know if that’s good or bad. Obviously, psychotherapy will help me out with that s***. But at the same time, it’s… it’s once in a lifetime, man.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruce Springsteen knew ‘Born In The USA’ was going to be a hit.
The Boss says he knew his best-known song had something special about it, but he could never have imagined where it took his career.
Recalling working on the 1984 album of the same name and its 1982 predecessor ‘Nebraska’, he told MOJO magazine: “I mean, the bottom line is I’ve had to deal with the fact that those albums are both the signs of my creative capacity and my creative life. Which has caused me some consternation over the years. Like, whoa, I feel really comfortable in here, but then I want to go out there too.
“That part of my work life is just something that I got used to. As soon as we recorded [the song] ‘Born In The USA’, I knew the record was going to be some kind of a hit. It just sounded like one. I didn’t know it was going to do what it did. But I felt sure it was going to be something like what we experienced with ‘The River’, maybe a little more. It seemed like such an iconic piece of music. Cut it in two or three takes. But I spent much more time worrying over the ‘Born In The USA’ album than I did over ‘Nebraska’. ‘Nebraska’ | never gave a second thought as to whether it was what I wanted.”
The 73-year-old rock legend says that some albums are just meant to be just him in “solitary” and not be “channelled” by his E Street Band.
He explained: “There are songs that shouldn’t be channelled through the group. It’s just not their nature. The kind of American character that I’m interested in is very often solitary. That’s how those records have to be made. That’s just … a very different kind of record. A record like ‘Letter To You’ [featuring his backing band] is, you know, that’s a communal album. It’s about the kind of community built around friendships and life experiences you’ve had within a group of people. Western Stars or Devils Dust, those kinds of records I made on my own, it really had to be that way.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran performed a surprise concert with a youth music group in Boston, Massachusetts on Sunday (02.07.23).
The 32-year-old pop star headed to the city’s Tobin Community Center to take to the stage with the kids for their show ahead of his concert at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough later that night.
Ed shared a video taken of the performance at community centre on his Instagram page and captioned it: “Morning off in Boston so went to surprise this kids music group, was so fun. Onto the second stadium show now see ya later x.”
In the clip, he was seen performing his songs ‘The Hills of Aberfeldy’ and ‘Eyes Closed’. He was heard telling the youngsters: “This is so good guys, so good. You guys are fantastic. Thanks for letting me play with you. I heard you love ‘Eyes Closed’.”
The kids had already been practising ‘Eyes Closed’ so they were able to play along with the pop star. Ed added: “I used to play cello when I was a kid this reminds me of the things I used to play.”
One of the children was seen in clip talking about the experience and holding up a signed guitar which he’d been given by the singer.
The young boy said: “I played with Ed Sheeran, that was really cool. I had a lot of fun. And he gave me a really cool guitar and he signed it.”
Ed was also seen chatting with the young musicians and posing for pictures with them. He also offered to get them all tickets to his stadium gig, telling them: “If you all want tickets to tonight’s show, you can all have tickets to tonight’s show. We’ll hook you and your families up. yeah all come down!”
He signed off his video by saying: “That was so much fun. I love playing with kids who are just getting inspired by music for the first time, it’s great. Off to the second Gillette show, and I’ll see you there.”

OHMYGOSSIP — A former member of Wet Leg is claiming the band hasn’t credited him for his contributions to the band.
Drummer Doug Richards – who is said to also be the ex-boyfriend of vocalist-and-guitarist Rhian Teasdale – has alleged that he co-wrote the Ivor Novello-winning indie band’s tracks ‘Oh No’ and ‘Too Late Now’.
And whilst he would like to be listed as a songwriter, he admits he’s “frightened” to ask his former bandmates in the ‘Chaise Longue’ group – also comprising Hester Chambers, Ellis Durand and Henry Holmes.
He also claims it was he and his brother that came up with the group’s name.
Doug Richards told The Times: “For years me and a couple of friends had lists of stupid band names.
“Anytime you’d think of a funny combination of words you’d write it down. One of them was Wet Book. My brother misheard me and said ‘Oh you should call it Wet Leg. Rhian wasn’t sure. Seems to have worked though.”
He admitted: “I feel frightened to try and approach the subject. But I did write [on those songs] and they are on the record. So I probably should get recognised.”
Doug added that he was allegedly ousted from Wet Leg after his relationship with Rhian ended.
He added: “I was really upset by it actually.
“I had the sense of it maybe being quite successful. I also felt like I helped to create it.”
Wet Leg are yet to publicly comment on Doug’s claims.
The band had a rapid rise to the spotlight, having only formed in 2019, with their 2021 debut single ‘Chaise Longue’ going viral and earning them a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Performance.
Everyone wants to collaborate with them, even pop veteran Robbie Williams, who told an Italian radio show: “I like this band called Wet Leg. I’d really like to work with them. I don’t know if they’d like to work with me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Vampire Weekend are “close” to finishing an album inspired by the Indian classical music framework, Raga.
Drummer Chris Tomson has revealed frontman Ezra Koenig had Raga singing lessons and it inspired the 10 tracks on the upcoming follow-up to 2019’s ‘Father of the Bride’, which he boasts are their “best yet”.
In a newsletter, Chris wrote: “Ezra [Koenig] took a raga singing lesson with Terry Riley in rural Japan and wrote what he considers to be 7 of his all-time top 10 best songs.”
He continued: “I personally found an immense peace and pleasure from creating with the guys like we had in the Ruggles days. The vibe was strong.”
Chris added: “I feel like it just might be our best yet. 10 songs, no skips.”
The group are also treating fans to live albums released on vinyl only, starting with the sell-out ‘Frog On The Bass Drum Vol. 01 Live In Indianapolis’.
In 2021, Ezra revealed the indie band recorded new music in England and Los Angeles for a new record.
Speaking to Mark Hoppus on his Apple Music Hits show, Ezra said of the time between the release of their last record and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their music-making: “It is crazy that it’s been three years.
“I mean, about a year and a half of it doesn’t count because of COVID.
“But, yeah. We’ve been working on music and we were just recording in England for a while, now back in LA, working with everybody and, yeah, I think we’re … I’m always hesitant to… Sometimes I oversell how close we are with the record because who really knows? But we almost have an album’s worth of songs.”
The rocker – who featured on Liam Gallagher’s song ‘Moscow Rules’ last year – admitted that while they have plenty of new material in the works, he was unable to offer up a release date they are aiming for, because “you could tinker with a song forever.”
He added: “As you well know, you could tinker with a song forever; change the arrangement, change the lyrics, whatever.
“But in that sense we’re close. I have no idea how long it’ll take to finish, but we’re feeling really good about the new material. So yeah, a lot of studio time to come after the holidays.”
The group’s last LP was the first without multi-instrumentalist Rostam Batmanglij, as he couldn’t commit to the group.

OHMYGOSSIP — Pulp dedicated ‘Something Changed’ to their late bass player Steve Mackey at their huge outdoor concert at London’s Finsbury Park.
The ‘Disco 2000’ hitmaker passed away in March at the age of 56, following a battle with an undisclosed illness, and Jarvis Cocker and co made sure to remember their late bandmate during their epic set on Saturday (01.07.23).
Speaking to the crowd, Britpop legend Jarvis, 59, said: “We’re trying to do something that is a tribute to Steve Mackey’s memory.
“I tend to talk about him before this song, because this song’s called ‘Something Changed’. It’s about how somebody can enter your life and really change it all.
“This is the only Pulp song that people have ever stopped me on the street and said: ‘We got married to your song.'”
The top 10 hit was featured on the acclaimed 1995 album ‘Different Class’.
Steve’s widow Katie Grand confirmed his passing and paid an emotional tribute to the musician, revealing he died after spending a few months in hospital.
The stylist wrote on Instagram: “After three months in hospital, fighting with all his strength and determination, we are shocked and devastated to have said goodbye to my brilliant, beautiful husband, Steve Mackey.
“Steve died today, a loss which has left myself, his son Marley, parents Kath and Paul, sister Michelle and many friends all heartbroken.
“Steve was the most talented man I have ever known, an exceptional musician, producer, photographer and filmmaker. As in life, he was adored by everyone whose paths he crossed in the multiple creative disciplines he conquered.
“I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all the NHS staff who worked tirelessly for Steve. He will be missed beyond words.
“The family has asked for privacy at this time.”
Pulp shared a statement on Twitter confirming the loss of their “beloved friend” alongside a photo of Steve walking with his back to the camera.
It read: “Our beloved friend + bass player Steve Mackey passed away this morning.
“Our thoughts are with his family + loved ones.
“This photo of Steve dates from when Pulp were on tour in South America in 2012. We had a day off + Steve suggested we go climbing in the Andes. So we did.
“Steve made things happen. In his life + in the band. + We’d very much like to think that he’s back in those mountains now, on the next stage of his adventure.
“Safe travels, Steve. We hope to catch up with you one day. All our love.”
Steve joined the band in 1989, first featuring on the group’s third album ‘Separations’. He played on all their subsequent records, but in October, he confirmed he wouldn’t be joining Jarvis, Candida Doyle, Nick Banks and Mark Webber on their reunion tour this summer.
In an Instagram statement, he said: “Pulp is a very important part of my creative life.
“I’m exceptionally proud of the body of work we’ve created together. Jarvis and I remastered Pulp’s entire Universal Records back catalogue together just over two years ago at Abbey Road Studios. It was a huge pleasure to do that and review our songs and recordings together.
“There have been wide reports of a full reunion for UK concerts today. However, I’ve decided to continue the work I’m engaged in – music, filmmaking and photography projects, and will not be joining them for these UK shows just announced.
“Wishing Candy, Nick, Mark and Jarvis the very best with forthcoming performances in the UK and also an enormous thanks to Pulp’s amazing fanbase, many of whom have sent me lovely messages today.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Matty Healy made an endearing shout-out to good pal Lewis Capaldi during The 1975’s headline set at London’s Finsbury Park.
The ‘About You’ hitmaker, 34, paid tribute to the ‘Someone You Loved’ hitmaker, 26 after he was forced to step back from touring after his Tourette’s impacted his ability to perform at Glastonbury earlier this month.
Matty revealed that Lewis reached out to him on the same day he announced the cancellation of his concerts.
He told the crowd on Sunday (02.07.23): “I want to send my sincerest thoughts to Lewis Capaldi who is a good friend of mine. Who on the day when he had to cancel his tour, checked in on me.
“And it’s also a reflection on how hard being a solo artist is as I would not be doing this show if I didn’t have these amazing men and women behind me.”
Matty – who has been eating a raw steak onstage and going down “rabbit holes” discussing masculinity – also addressed the controversial jokes he’s gone viral for during his band’s tour, confessing he wishes he’d kept his mouth shut at times, while also admitting to regretting “a couple” of their songs, but he insists he only ever wants to entertain his fans and make them “laugh”.
He said: “It started with the tones of the crisis of masculinity that I touched upon when I stayed in my house for year by myself… went down many a rabbit hole and the show was about that.”
He continued: “I’m really excited, look at this, this is the culmination. I’m not a nonchalant person, I’m not someone who takes things for granted so I was excited.
“And The 1975 isn’t a dry band, there’s a lot of irony in it… so I was always trying stuff and some stuff I got right and some stuff I got wrong, there’s a lot of things that were said, jokes that I’ve made and there’s probably a couple of songs I’d take back if I had the choice.
“I’m only doing this because I want to make you guys laugh and feel good because that’s what my favourite art does and that’s all I’m trying to do and I get a bit excited, and you know what I’m proud of myself.”

The ‘Dancing on My Own’ singer, 34, was so overwhelmed sharing a stage with Gary Barlow, 52, Howard Donald, 55, and Mark Owen, 51, and singing in front of the 74-year-old British monarch at his Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle in May that he broke down when he came off the stage
Speaking to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column after performing with them again at American Express presents BST Hyde Park at the weekend, Calum said: “I’ve got to admit, as soon as I came off stage, I bawled my eyes out.
“I think it was just because it was very emotional, I couldn’t believe I was there.
“It was Take That and the King, it was a lot.
“When that emotional energy disappeared, I FaceTimed my mum and was crying make-up down my face.
“I was a hot mess.”
The former ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ star joined the trio to perform an updated dance version of their track ‘Greatest Day’ with DJ Robin Schulz and was thankful he didn’t fall over during the performance in front of the Royal Family.
He went on: “It was mad.
“One of the maddest experiences I think I’ve been on in this career.
“Everything went to plan but I did worry I’d fall over because there was a big distance between where I came on stage and Gary, and I had to get a bit of a jog on.
“Luckily my shoes were grippy and I stood my ground.”
Asked if he swiped anything from the royal residence, Calum added: “I didn’t steal anything because everything was quite heavy – suits of armour and big plates.
“I was like, ‘I’m not taking any commemorative plates out of there’. But it was so amazing.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tony Hadley is to perform swing classics as part of a new UK tour.
The 63-year-old singer is best known as the frontman of the 1980s new wave band Spandau Ballet but has been inspired by his childhood memories to launch ‘The Big Swing Tour’ – which will visit concert halls across the UK throughout March 2024 – where he will peform the hits of jazz icons like Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, and Frank Sinatra as well as his own classics.
He said: “My love of swing music began when I was very young. The preparation for Sunday lunch was never without the classic sounds of Sinatra, Bennett and many more…
“Then years later, when we formed our first band at school which eventually would become Spandau Ballet, I was reminded by my parents that although I loved punk rock, if I was serious about pursuing a career as a professional singer, never to forget the classic jazz vocalists. So there I was listening to the Sex Pistols and The Clash alongside Tony Bennett and Jack Jones!”
The ‘Gold’ hitmaker – who will be joined by the Fabulous TH Band alongside a full brass section for the swinging shows – went on to add that his new show will be “totally different” from his usual rock style and wants audiences to have an “amazing night out” celebrating songs from the classic jazz era.
He added: “I’ve always loved performing live, but this swing tour is totally different from our normal rock shows! I want audiences to come and enjoy a night of amazing songs from an incredible era of music alongside some great songs from my own repertoire.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrew Ridgeley regrets that Wham! didn’t go on a farewell tour.
The guitarist-and-songwriter and his bandmate George Michael performed a greatest hits set at Wembley Stadium, London, on Saturday 28 June 1986 in what was dubbed ‘The Final’ concert, a name shared with the compilation album that followed.
Following the show – which featured special guests such as Sir Elton John and Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon and was attended by 72,000 fans – Andrew and George, as well as backing singers Pepsi and Shirlie, went their separate ways bringing an end to five years at the top of the charts for Wham!, during which time they sold over 28 million records and 15 million singles.
Looking back, Andrew, 60, wishes that he and George – who died at the age of 53 on Christmas Day 2016 – had taken the show around the world.
In an interview with the BBC, he said: “I would have liked to tour ‘The Final’ to be honest.
“I felt a final tour to say goodbye to our fans around the world would have been a generous gesture. I felt it was a courtesy to them to have done that. The least we could have done, to be honest with you.
“But I also understood [George’s] essential ideology behind having just one show.”
However, Andrew accepts that the time was right for Wham! to split because the duo had outgrown the concept behind the group, which was first formulated when the two best friends were teenagers at school.
He said: “It was so much about us as friends and our lives together as youngsters [that] it would have restricted George’s growth as a songwriter to keep writing within the parameters that Wham set.
“We’d both outgrown Wham.”
Wham! are the subject of a new Netflix documentary about the band’s phenomenal global success and a new singles box set, ‘Echoes From the Edge of Heaven’, celebrating their music is out on July 7.

OHMYGOSSIP — Stephen Sanchez and Sir Elton John were due to duet on ‘I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues’ at Glastonbury until the rock legend changed his mind.
The 20-year-old singer/songwriter joined Elton, 76, during his headline slot at the Pyramid Stage at the world famous UK festival last Sunday (25.06.23) and performed his own hit ‘Until I Found You’ backed by his hero and his band.
Sanchez has now spilled that he and Elton had actually rehearsed his 1983 hit single until the pianist told Stephen he wanted to use the show to put his music in the spotlight after watching him perform at The Troubadour in Los Angeles.
In an interview with Rolling Stone UK, Sanchez said: “We’d spent weeks doing that and then he came to see me and the boys at The Troubadour.
“The week after, he just rang me and said, ‘Stephen, I’ve had a thought. I don’t want you to sing one of my songs. I think it would be far better if you sang your song and we gave you this big moment for you and your career.’
“I was just blown away by that selflessness and his desire to, you know, expose new artists and new music.”
During his incredible set, Elton was also joined by Gabriels on ‘Are You Ready For Love’, The Killers singer Brandon Flowers on ‘Tiny Dancer’ and Rina Sawayama, who took on Kiki Dee’s vocals on duet ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’.
Sanchez has praised the selflessness of Elton for using his Glastonbury headline slot to shine a light on new artists.
He said: “He knew what that would do for our careers and he knew that it would sit in the glory of being his last show in the UK. He wants to champion other artists and pass the torch, so to speak. It’s just amazing. It’s been a huge honour.
“When you’re on the Pyramid Stage and you hear all those voices screaming at you, it’s almost like they’re wrapping you up and it feels spiritual. It’s really, really wild, the visual memory of a sea of heads and faces and people with their own lives and memories.
“I’m still kind of beyond the clouds a bit.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Clarkson has claimed she was “lied to” over ‘Since U Been Gone’.
The 41-year-old singer was accused of having “burst into hysterical sobbing” over the track by producer Clive Davis in his 2013 memoir, prompting them to have a “very tough conversation”, and the former ‘American Idol’ winner has now given her side of the story, explaining she had been left to look like a “fool” because she thought she was writing the lyrics for the song, but they’d already been completed by her collaborators.
Asked about the row on ‘Watch What Happens Live’, Kelly initially laughed it off and said: “Wait, he has a memoir with stories about me? Are you serious? Well they’re talking about me, OK.
She then said: “Let’s give some backstory, Davis. I was lied to, and they told me, ‘Hey there’s these producers and they want to work with you. And there’s this song,’ and it had dummy lyrics.
“I was told to write to the song. Flew me to Sweden, I get there and these two people, [Dr.] Luke and Max [Martin], were not told that I was writing to it, and just already had it written.
“I look like a fool, because I walk in and the label had told me something completely different. That’s a red flag, too. Why lie to me like that?”
Kelly admitted the deception has left her with a “bad vibe” around the 2004 hit single.
She said: “I don’t like the lying. So that’s why I have a bad vibe with that song.”
But the talk show host insisted it doesn’t mean she’ll stop performing it at her concerts.
She told presenter Andy Cohen: “Oh my gosh, I’m such a great compartmentaliser.
I can put that aside, and I sing the hell out of it on the tour.”
At the time of Clive’s memoir release, the ‘Breakaway’ singer slammed the legendary producer’s “misinformation”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj has delayed the release date of her new album – but revealed it will be called ‘Pink Friday 2’.
The 40-year-old rapper was due to drop her first album in five years on October 20th, but she has now updated fans that the LP will arrive on November 17th instead, due to “some really exciting news” she promised to share with her supporters “at a later time”.
She wrote on Instagram: “Dear Barbz, I’ve been trying to find the right time to tell you this for a few days. Due to some really exciting news that I’ll share with you guys @ a later time, I’ve shifted the album date just a tad bit. Trust me, it’ll be WELL WORTH THE WAIT…but since I AM shifting the date just a tad, I’d like to give you guys a tiny SIP of some more album tea so that I don’t have to get cussed out so…here it goes:
MY NEW ALBUM WILL BE RELEASED ON 11.17.23 (sic)”
To make up for the delay, Nicki revealed the album’s name to fans, and admitted she will start to tour the record “around” the first quarter of 2024.
She posted: “and she shall be called:
Pink Friday 2
“I love you guys so much. I am so grateful for the years of support and love you guys have given me. At times maybe I didn’t even deserve all that you have poured into me. Nonetheless, you. will. love. this. album. I will give tour deets closer to that time, but obviously the tour will start around the first quarter of 2024. I’ll also share the REAL album cover at a later date. (sic)”
Ariana Grande commented: “we are ready and grateful ”
Nicki’s post comes just days after she took to Twitter earlier this month to announce her record was scheduled to drop in October.
She simply tweeted at the time: “10/20/23
“The Album [red bow emoji and CD emoji].”
Last month, Nicki declared that the follow-up to 2018’s ‘Queen’ will be “the best thing to come out of 2023.”
She tweeted in May: “Oh yes fractions warned, SFG did what fractions warned. Red Ruby Da Sleeze MOTHERED so hard and is now the standard. NM5 is the best thing that will come out of 2023 and will raise the bar to new and unreachable heights. NM5 tour will be hailed as “genius”. That’s it and that’s all. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dolly Parton ran around “like a high-school girl” trying to get Sir Mick Jagger on a song.
The ‘9 to 5’ hitmaker – who has been married to her other half for 57 years – revealed that many of the songs on her star-studded rock album, ‘Rockstar’, are her husband Carl Dean’s favourites.
Her spouse particularly “loves” Rolling Stone Sir Mick Jagger, 79, and she asked him to appear on her cover of ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction’, however, he wanted to record something new with Dolly, but she ended up chasing him around due to his hectic schedule and they ultimately ran out of time.
Speaking at a press conference in London on Thursday (29.06.23) to promote the LP, she said: “I wanted him to sing on ‘Satisfaction’ but he wanted something new and different, which I don’t blame him for that, so I wound up singing that with Pink and Brandi Carlile.
“We kept looking for the right song and he was doing an album in LA, and he did some stuff in Nashville, and I kept missing him everywhere. I ran him around like a high-school girl.”
Beatles Sir Paul McCartney, 81, and Sir Ringo Starr, 82, feature on Dolly’s version of Beatles classic ‘Let it Be’, while the record also features Stevie Nicks, 75, Sir Elton John, 76, Chris Stapleton, 45, and more.
Meanwhile, Dolly admits she isn’t a fan of AI and doesn’t want to leave her “soul behind” on Earth.
The country music icon, 77, wouldn’t want to follow in the footsteps of ABBA – who have their own avatar show ‘ABBA Voyage’ – and have artificial intelligence turn her into a digital avatar for performance once she’s left this world.
She said: “I think I’ve left a great body of work behind.
“I have to decide how much of that high-tech stuff I want to be involved because I don’t want to leave my soul here on this Earth.
“I think with some of this stuff I’ll be grounded here for ever… I’ll be around, we’ll find ways to keep me here.”
The ‘Jolene’ hitmaker – who has had several plastic surgery procedures including boob jobs – then joked that she doesn’t have “any intelligence” and that “everything” about her was artificial.
