OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams performed with his former Take That bandmate Mark Owen for the first time in 12 years at the former’s royal gig at Sandringham.
The ‘Angels’ hitmaker topped the bill at the Heritage Live concert at King Charles’ Norfolk residence over the weekend, and fans were in for a treat as Mark, who had earlier opened for Robbie, joined him to perform Take That’s 2008 hit ‘Greatest Day’ – much to the delight of the 20,000-strong crowd.
The last time Robbie performed with Take That was on the 2011 ‘Progress Live’ tour, which featured all five original members, including ex-bandmate Jason Orange.
Mark, Gary Barlow and Howard Donald continue to perform as a trio.
Rob’s royal gig comes after Take That reunited at The King’s Coronation Concert in May.
The ‘Back For Good’ trio put on a spectacular performance at the historical show at Windsor Castle.
They gave the live debut of their re-record of smash hit ‘Greatest Day’ with Calum Scott and DJ Robin Schulz joining them onstage, and also performed fan-favourites ‘Shine’ and ‘Never Forget’.
And they have “much more to come”.
Alongside a clip of their performance, they wrote on Instagram: “It was incredible to perform live together again for the first time in 4 years and there is so much more to come. We’re back for good.”
The new version of ‘Greatest Days’ marked the group’s first new music since their ‘Odyssey Greatest Hits’ album in 2018.
Before playing the concert as a three-piece, fans wildly speculated that a reunion of the original line-up could be on the cards “soon”.
The pop group have performed as a trio since the 2014 departure of Jason, but a social media post by the ‘Relight My Fire’ hitmakers led many to believe that all five members were getting back together.
Robbie vacated the band in 1995, a year before their original split.
The official Instagram of the group posted footage of the five-piece performing their 1995 hit ‘Never Forget’ with the caption: “Never forget we will have fun like this again… someday soon.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Green Day have sold t-shirts emblazoned with Donald Trump’s mug shot to raise relief funds for Maui fire victims.
The pop punk veterans recreated their 1997 ‘Nimrod’ album cover but swapped out the pictures of Frederick Banting and Charles Best, who co-discovered insulin, with the former US president’s frowning face covered up with the title in a yellow circle.
Referencing their 1997 classic ‘Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)’, Billie Joe Armstrong and co captioned a picture of the design on Instagram: “Good Riddance. The ultimate Nimrod shirt is available for 72 hours only. Limited edition shirt proceeds will be donated to @greatergoodmusiccharity, which brings food to those affected by the Maui wildfires.”
The ‘American Idiot’ rockers are among a host of stars who have helped raise funds for those impacted by the deadly wildfires in Hawaii, including Jason Momoa, Oprah Winfrey, Jeff Bezos, and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
Meanwhile, Trump has released his own mug shot merchandise that has reportedly raised a whopping $7.1 million for his campaign to become president again in 2024.
His campaign team used the shot to start selling items featuring his image and the former reality TV star also posted the picture on his X profile.
The post was Trump’s first message on the social media app – formerly Twitter – since January 2021 and the message also featured a link to his official website.
His mugshot has already been attached to various bits of merchandise including T-shirts, coffee mugs and bumper stickers.
Trump and 18 co-defendants were given a Friday (25.08.23) deadline to voluntarily surrender after they were charged with trying to overturn the election result.
Earlier this month, the billionaire businessman claimed to be the victim of a political “witch hunt”.
Trump – who served as the 45th US President between 2017 and 2021 – took to social media to rubbish the allegations and to also question the integrity of the legal process.
He blasted on his Truth Social platform at the time: “So, the Witch Hunt continues! 19 people Indicated tonight, including the former President of the United States, me, by an out of control and very corrupt District Attorney who campaigned and raised money on, ‘I will get Trump.’”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ringo Starr has collaborated with Sir Paul McCartney on his new record.
The former Beatles drummer, 83, is bringing out ‘Rewind Forward’ on 13 October, with the first single from the four-track EP coming out on Friday. (25.08.23)
It also features the track ‘Feeling the Sunlight’, recorded in the UK with 81-year-old Beatles icon Sir Paul.
Ringo said about the EP’s title, which is also the name of the first single coming out from the EP: “Rewind Forward was something I said out of the blue – it’s just one of those lines like a ‘Hard Day’s Night’.
“It just came to me. But it doesn’t really make sense. I was trying to explain it to myself and the best I can tell you about what it means is: sometimes when you want to go forward you have to go back first.”
‘Rewind Forward’ was written with Ringo’s engineer and regular co-writer Bruce Sugar, and the drummer added about their collaboration: “We’ve been writing a song now for every EP.”
The EP also features the tracks ‘Shadows on the Wall’ and ‘Miss Jean’.
The tracks saw Ringo collaborating with other “old and new friends”, including long-time collaborators Steve Lukather and Joe Williams who wrote the opening song ‘Shadows on the Wall’.
Benmont Tench, Mike Campbell and Ian Hunter worked on ‘Miss Jean’, and the EP also features contributions from Joe Walsh, Steve Dudas, Lance Morrison as well as Matt Bissonnette, Torrance Klein, Weston Wilson, Kip Lennon and Marky Lennon.
All songs were recorded at Ringo’s home studio in Los Angeles except ‘Feeling the Sunlight’, which was largely recorded in Britain.
The new EP is the first fresh material Ringo has put out since his previous EPs ‘Zoom in, Change the World’, and ‘EP3’, which came out in September 2022.
Ringo is also kicking off an autumn tour with his All Starr band on 17 September 17 at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, Canada.
The drummer recently celebrated his birthday on 7 July with his annual ‘Peace and Love’ celebration in Beverly Hills where he was joined by family, friends and fans, and which featured a musical tribute by Silversun Pickups, Blake Mills and King Tuff.

OHMYGOSSIP — Diddy has announced a new album featuring Justin Bieber, 21 Savage and the Weeknd.
The 53-year-old rapper – whose real name is Sean Love Combs – revealed he will drop ‘The Love Album: Off the Grid’, his first solo full-length record in 13 years on September 15.
To announce the album, Diddy released a star-studded teaser featuring Bieber, 21 Savage, the Weeknd, Swae Lee, Jozzy, Mary J. Blige, Babyface, Yung Miami and DJ Khaled, on Instagram.
Some of the artists are featured in the studio, leading to speculation they could appear on the album.
He said in the video – which showed clips of him dancing with Kim Porter, the late mother of his children – “Why am I doing this? Especially with the success that I’ve had, especially where my life, how stressful and treacherous this music business is. My heart has been broken. I still have that question of, like, ‘Will I ever love again?’”
He captioned the clip: “I present to you my new album. The Love Album: Off The Grid September 15, 2023 R B is alive! LOVE #OTG.”
The video also shows Diddy with his youngest daughter, 10-month-old Love Sean Combs, who he shares with Dana Tran), along with clips of him with Yung Miami from City Girls, who he’s been romantically linked to since June 2022.
The four-minute trailer shows the rapper navigating the pressures of fame and his entertainment and business empire.
He can be seen isolating on a private island without his phone and exercising as he deals with themes of physical, mental and emotional health and wellness.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lauryn Hill has announced ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ 25th anniversary tour with the Fugees.
The co-headlining tour will see the singer perform the seminal 1998 record in full on a North American jaunt with her former band.
In a statement, she reflected on the Grammy-winning LP: “‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’ is and was a love song to my parents, my family, my people, my musical and cultural forebears, my teachers, my loves, my Creator. I wrote love songs and protest songs – (still love songs) about the subjects and interests that inspired and moved me. I was confident that what inspired me would resonate with an audience that had been led to believe that songs of that kind could only live in the past.”
Lauryn continued: “I loved music, I loved people, I truly felt grateful to God for my life, and genuinely blessed to have a platform where I could share wisdom and perspective through music. I felt a charge to challenge the idea that certain kinds of expression and/or certain kinds of people didn’t belong in certain places. I loved showing what could work or happen provided there was imagination, creativity and LOVE leading the way.”
The run begins at Mystic Lake in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on September 8, and includes further dates in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and more.
In Australia and New Zealand, Lauryn will be joined by Koffee for a handful of dates.
In June, Lauryn reunited with her Fugees bandmates Pras Michel and Wyclef Jean for a six-song set at her Philadelphia concert.
The 48-year-old singer was performing her solo LP ‘The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill’ in full to mark the milestone, and she had a special treat in store for fans of the iconic hip-hop group.
The pair joined her for their hits ‘Killing Me Softly’, ‘Ready Or Not’ and ‘Zealots’ with The Roots backing the trio at their festival The Roots Picnic.
The Fugees axed plans for a reunion tour to mark 25 years of their album ‘The Score’ in January 2022, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In April, Michel – whose full name is Prakazrel ‘Pras’ Michel – was found guilty of all charges in his international fraud trial after becoming embroiled in a political conspiracy that spanned two US presidential administrations.
The founding member of the group was accused of accepting $100 million from Malaysian financier Jho Low, who was charged with massive fraud and remains on the run, to influence both the administrations of Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
The 50-year-old musician was found guilty of all 10 counts, including conspiracy, witness tampering, and acting as an unregistered agent of a foreign government.
He’s currently awaiting sentencing.

The ‘Cuff It’ singer turns 42 on September 4, making her a Virgo, and she has asked fans to celebrate by donning silver outfits to her ‘Renaissance World Tour’ shows from August 23 to September 22.
In a statement on her Instagram Story, she wrote: “Virgo season is upon us.
“This tour has been such a joy and as we approach the last month, my birthday wish is to celebrate with you wearing your most fabulous silver fashions to the shows August 23-September 22!
“We’ll surround ourselves in a shimmering human disco ball each night. Everybody mirroring each other’s joy. Virgo season together in the house of chrome. See you there!”
The dazzling R’n’B disco queen has rocked some epic outfits so far on the mammoth jaunt.
Pharrell Williams designed a special custom jumpsuit that celebrated “her shape and form” and was “informed by her “rare spirit”.
The ‘Get Lucky’ hitmaker and fashion icon, who is the creative director for Louis Vuitton Menswear, recently detailed the thought process behind the black bedazzled all-in-one he created for the singer’s performance of ‘Formation’ on her ‘Renaissance’ tour.
In a video clip on the Louis Vuitton Instagram page, he said: “Beyoncé is a rare spirit.
“The idea that I know her as a human being and have known her for all this time and our connection, I feel like I’ve known this person for many lives.”
On creating the look to suit her iconic hourglass curves and to allow her to move freely onstage, he explained: “The idea here was to give her something that allows her body to set the template. Not only its shape and its form, which is basically informed by her spirit. Your body is literally a spiritual encasement. Continue to celebrate her shape and her form, but also make her feel free at the same time.”
He went on: “Everything was designed with an intention that a true, rare, very powerful spirit is meant to move.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paramore singer Hayley Williams has been begging SZA to collaborate with her.
The ‘This Is Why’ hitmaker has been a fan of the ‘Kill Bill’ hitmaker for a long time and joked that she is texting her “weekly” about hooking up on a track.
Asked on the ‘Black People Love Paramore’ podcast which Black artists she’d like to work with, Hayley replied: “It’s been SZA for a long time, because I love her voice.
“But also — ah man, there’s too many, to be honest with you.”
Hayley feels artists of different genres haven’t approached her band for collaborations because of the hardcore emo scene they were part of.
She continued: “I was saying recently to someone, because we grew up in the scene we grew up in, I rarely get asked to do features for things that I feel like really get down to my core.
“So I’m still keeping my eye out for whether that be new artists, or maybe it’s older, established artists — but probably people who do groovier s***; something that I can sink down into a little bit, instead of having to just be, I guess, the ‘Misery Business’ version of myself.”
She added of the ‘Good Days’ hitmaker: “SZA has, for about six years now, been the one. I’m sending the text weekly at this point.
“I think ‘Garden’ is my favourite song by SZA.
“But also, all of her records, they’re records you can put on and [have] no skips for me.”
It’s no secret that SZA is a fan of Hayley with both their fanbases wanting them to record a duet together.
Last year, SZA hinted at a future collaboration with the ‘Still Into You’ hitmaker.
Quizzed on when she’ll be jumping on a track with the alternative star on Twitter, she suggested it wasn’t out of the question as they are in touch often.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Killers will release the new single ‘Your Side Of Town’ on Friday (25.08.23)
Brandon Flowers and co had teased a clip for a new music video earlier this week, and now they’ve confirmed the arrival of a new synth-led track later this week.
Taking to X to share the pre-save link for the tune, they wrote: “Hello everyone, with much excitement we present you with Your Side of Town. It’s got the ghosts of a lot of synth music that inspired us over the years. And yet somehow feels completely our own. Now it’s yours! Turn it up.”
The Killers haven’t released a song since August 2022’s standalone ‘Boy’.
The group’s new music announcement comes days after they caused controversy and were forced to apologise after Brandon told an audience in Georgia that a Russian fan was their “brother”.
The ‘Smile Like You Mean It’ hitmakers were booed towards the end of their show in Batumi last Tuesday (15.08.23) after inviting a man to play drums with them during ‘For Reasons Unknown’ towards the end of the show and revealed to the crowd in the former Soviet state that he was from the neighbouring country, which invaded them in 2008.
In video footage circulating online, Brandon said to a mixture of cheers and boos: “We don’t know the etiquette of this land but this guy’s a Russian. You OK with a Russian coming up here?”
After the song, the 42-year-old singer was booed again when he raised the subject a second time.
He said: “You can’t recognise if someone’s your brother? He’s not your brother?
“We all separate on the borders of our countries … Am I not your brother, being from America?”
Brandon urged the audience to celebrate “that we’re here together”.
He added: “I don’t want it to turn ugly. And I see you as my brothers and my sisters.”
Mariam Nikuradze, a Georgian journalist, claimed on X fans had left after the song, and while the band finished their set, they didn’t say goodbye to the audience at the end of the show.
Following the outcry, the band issued a statement apologising and insisted they hadn’t meant to offend anyone.
They said in the message, which was shared to their social channels: “Good people of Georgia, it was never our intention to offend anyone!
“We have a longstanding tradition of inviting people to play drums and it seemed from the stage that the initial response from the crowd indicated that they were okay with tonight’s audience participation member coming onstage with us.
“We recognise that a comment, meant to suggest that all of the Killers’ audience and fans are ‘brothers and sisters’ could be misconstrued. We did not mean to upset anyone and we apologise. We stand with you and hope to return soon.”

OHMYGOSSIP — ABBA‘s Björn Ulvaeus, Johnny Cash‘s daughter Rosanne and more have teamed up with YouTube and Universal Music to explore the realms of AI in music.
The ‘Waterloo’ hitmaker admits he wants to know as much as possible about Artificial Intelligence and whether it can be put to good use and how to “protect the rights of my fellow human creators”.
In a statement, Björn said: “While some may find my decision controversial, I’ve joined this group with an open mind and purely out of curiosity about how an AI model works and what it could be capable of in a creative process.
“I believe that the more I understand, the better equipped I’ll be to advocate for and to help protect the rights of my fellow human creators.”
OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, composer Max Richter, Latin star Anitta and Frank Sinatra’s estate are among the others to sign up for the project.
Max commented: “Like every new technology, AI brings with it opportunities, but it also raises profound challenges for the creative community. Therefore, I’m very happy to be part of the ‘artist incubator’ which will allow me to advocate for the interests of the creative community in the applications of AI to music and music distribution.”
Together, they will follow three principles for the partnership, the first being: “AI is here, and we will embrace it responsibly together with our music partners.”
The second reads: “AI is ushering in a new age of creative expression, but it must include appropriate protections and unlock opportunities for music partners who decide to participate.”
And lastly, a YouTube blog post read: “We’ve built an industry-leading trust and safety organisation and content policies. We will scale those to meet the challenges of AI.”
Universal Music Group’s Chairman and Chief Executive Sir Lucian Grainge believes AI could “enrich musical creativity in extraordinary new ways” but insists there needs to be “the right balance”.
He said: “Our challenge and opportunity as an industry is to establish effective tools, incentives and rewards – as well as rules of the road – that enable us to limit AI’s potential downside while promoting its promising upside.
“If we strike the right balance, I believe AI will amplify human imagination and enrich musical creativity in extraordinary new ways.”
Neal Mohan, YouTube’s Chief Executive Officer added: “I’m incredibly excited about the opportunity of AI to supercharge creativity around the world but recognise that YouTube and the promise of AI will only be successful if our partners are successful. OHMYGOSSIP — Bring Me The Horizon have delayed the release of their new album ‘POST HUMAN: NeX GEn’.
The ‘Drown’ rockers were set to drop the follow-up to 2020’s ‘Post Human: Survival Horror’ on September 15, but frontman Oli Sykes has confirmed the release date is being pushed back due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
In a statement on Instagram, he wrote: “So I got some bad news… nex gen won’t be coming September 15th.
“Unforeseen circumstances rendered us unable to complete the record to the standard we’d be happy with.”
Oli had been “hoping” the band would still be able to make the planned launch for the record, but he doesn’t want to put out the collection “until it’s nailed”.
He added: “I was hoping despite the setbacks we could pull it off in time for you guys but there’s still so many little details I want to be perfect and until it’s nailed I’m just not willing to give it to you guys.”
He insisted the release is “close” but stopped short of giving a firmer update, while saying “sorry and thanks for understanding”.
He continued: “We can’t give a new date just yet but just know it’s close… and I know you guys have been so patient but you just gotta be a lil more.. (sic)”
Oli previously described the upcoming album as “unhinged”, noting it takes inspiration from emo and hardcore, referencing acts like Glassjaw.
He told NME: “I wouldn’t say it’s a hyper-pop album, but I’ve definitely been inspired by that world. I admire how obnoxious, trashy and in your face that music feels, which is what I was drawn to when I got into emo, hardcore and screamo.
“It’s not that we’ve lost that in our music, but as you become a bigger band, things do get more polished. I want to go the opposite way. Let’s be unhinged, let’s stop trying to make all the edges smooth.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez “fought” to keep her 2011 track ‘Who Says’ because she felt her fans “needed it”.
The former Disney star released the song about hitting back at haters when she went by the band name Selena Gomez and the Scene and it’s one of her fanbase’s favourite songs, but it very nearly went to another artist.
Quoted by Pop Crave on X, she recalled: “I was working with Disney at the time, and they were actually giving the song to another artist. I cried because I loved the song so much. I basically said to my label, ‘I feel like my fans are young and they need it. That’s all I kept saying because I was 16 at the time. I was like, ‘I think my fans really need it; tell [them] my fans really need the song.’ Maybe it just didn’t work out with the other artist, but that was a gift to me that I did not know I needed. I love that song, and it has carried with me through my whole career, and I fought for it. To be honest, I, to this day, need to hear it.”
The ‘Only Murders in the Building’ star is gearing up to release her new song, ‘Single Soon’, and about plotting how to break up with an ex.
Selena – who has dated The Weeknd, Justin Bieber and Zayn Malik – sings in lyrics obtained by The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Should I do it on the phone? Should I leave a little note in the pocket of his coat? Maybe I’ll just disappear. I don’t want to see a tear. And the weekend’s almost here.”
She goes on: “I know I’m a little high maintenance, but I’m worth a try.
“Might not give a reason why. We both had a lot of fun, time to find another one. Blame it all on feeling young.”

She teased on social media: “Y’all have been asking for new music for a while.

It’s the first taste of her upcoming album, for which Selena said she ditched “sad-girl songs” to have some “fun” with her new music.
The chart-topping star – whose last studio album was 2020’s’ ‘Rare’ – revealed she is switching things up with the overall mood of her next project.
Asked if more new tunes are on the way following the release of the single from her Apple TV+ documentary of the same name, ‘My Mind and Me’, Selena told ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’: “That’s accurate. “Finally.”
The actress had been recording in New York and teased: “I’m so used to writing sad-girl songs.
“But I’m ready to have some fun and I think people are going to like it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Björk will receive the Best Live Performer prize at the 2023 AIM Awards.
The Icelandic star – who is known for her visually mind-blowing sets and has received rave reviews for her ‘Cornucopia’ tour – beat off competition from Beabadoobee, Muna and Babymetal to become the overall winner in the public-voted category.
As well as the ‘It’s Oh So Quiet’ being unveiled as the recipient of the top prize, it was also revealed that ‘Chaise Lounge’ hitmaker’s Wet Leg are among those in contention for the PPL Award for Most Played New Independent Artist.
The indie group were big winners at last year’s bash, along with Stormzy, Nova Twins and Rina Sawayama.
Raye and Shygirl lead the nominations this year with three apiece.
Speaking about the shortlist, Silvia Montello, CEO at AIM, said: “The AIM Independent Music Awards are a night to celebrate the best of the UK’s independent music community, and to showcase its triumphs and innovations. We are proud to be able to honour the diversity and talent across the UK ‘s independent labels, artists, entrepreneurs and champions and it’s fantastic to see continued public recognition of Björk’s trailblazing live shows!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher believes the height he holds his guitar at concerts determines the type of woman he attracts.
The former Oasis star has recalled having a “very stressful” first gig with the Britpop group because he’d never played the stringed instrument standing upright before, and he believes the way in which he held his guitar the first time was “crucial”.
Speaking on Gibson TV for the ‘Icons’ series, he said: “It kind of signifies how much of a **** you’re going to be, because if it’s too high, you don’t get no fit birds, mate. If it’s too low, she gettin’ a goth, alright? But if you get it right, you know, the ‘Gunslinger’… And I remember looking in the mirror thinking, ‘Doesn’t look right.’”
Recalling the Manchester concert at the Boardwalk club in 1991, he admitted: “I was stressing about it for 24 hours.
“Thank f***ing God it was before phones and cameras, because there would be some pretty f***ing awkward footage of it now. But you know, an exhilarating experience all the same.”
He had little time to rehearse standing to play his guitar and didn’t even own a guitar strap because he was “skint”.
The 56-year-old rocker said: “We were doing one song of mine, which was ‘Columbia’, but it was instrumental.
“We’ve got a gig on Tuesday, and it suddenly dawns on me that I’ve never played guitar standing up. Not only that, I don’t own a f***ing strap. This is Sunday night. And I’m skint. Never played guitar standing up.”
He continued: “That seems [like a] preposterous f***ing notion now. But I can only tell you that the Monday was probably the most stressful f***ing day of my entire life.”
He ended up borrowing a strap and rushed home to practice.
The ‘Wonderwall’ hitmaker remembered: “I’d say [I spent] a good hour looking in the mirror […] And I think where you hold your guitar for the first time is crucial.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Bush allegedly recorded her farts on her hits.
The ‘Wuthering Heights’ hitmaker used a Fairlight synthesizer to sample the sound of her flatulence.
Donal Lunny, a producer and session musician on Kate’s albums, recalled in an interview with Uncut magazine: “She was a funny, mischievous woman. Somebody told me she sampled a fart on the Fairlight and would happily play tunes on it.”
Saxophonist Nigel Hitchcock said the ‘Hounds of Love’ singer loved a curry, which just so happens to be a natural laxative.
He said of the star: “The first time I arrived at Kate’s house with my saxes, she opened the door, took them both from me, and said, ‘I’ll be back in a minute, I’m making a curry.’ She was feeding everybody as well.”
Damon Albarn better practice holding his breath then, as he’s the latest star to reveal he’s keen to get in the studio with the ‘Running Up That Hill’ hitmaker.
The Blur star recently admitted he hopes his animated band Gorillaz – which he launched with artist Jamie Hewlett in 1998 – can get Kate on one of their songs after working with the likes of Sir Elton John and Lou Reed in the past.
He told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “Well, Kate Bush, that would be wonderful.
“I’ve never formally asked, but sometimes it’s better to drop hints and hope for a reaction. But it’s almost impossible to get her out of her world.”
Although Damon isn’t sure if the hermit singer would be interested, he joked he could have a way to find out.
He added: “I actually know where she lives because we are neighbours in Devon.
“If I want, I could go to her place by foot. Maybe one stormy night I’ll risk knocking on her door.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado are releasing a new song next week.
The trio’s 2007 hit ‘Give It To Me’ has been doing the rounds on TikTok, and next Friday (01.09.23), they will share a brand new tune.
Captioning a clip of the trio over the years before teasing a new snippet of the new track, Timbaland announced on Instagram: “WE BACK @nellyfurtado @justintimberlake. DA KING HAS RETURN !!!! 09/1/23 @beatclub (sic)”
Nelly recently revealed the pair of them had been back in the studio with Timbaland and that it was a “healing” experience.
Speaking on Emily Ratajkowski’s ‘High Low’ podcast about a phone call she had with her two former collaborators: “We connected. There was a real healing thing that happened.
“Between the three of us – me, Timbaland and JT – we’ve all had long careers with ups and downs and to me personally, doing this song together feels very authentic and is a mini-miracle.
“It started with Tim and JT. Tim texted me like, ‘Yo, I’ve got a track for you, it’s a dance vibe, for a trio,’ and I was like, ‘You mean with JT?’ And he was like, ‘Yes’.
“Him and JT have been working on music for like a year already, separately from me, so they just had an idea and they wanted me to woman the ship a little in my direction so they could feed off that.
“We just cooked it up.
“I think energetically it’s very positive. For me, the lyrics and everything are very real to me right now.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Rodrigo wrote ‘GUTS’ with a “tour in mind”.
The 20-year-old singer/songwriter is eager to take her second album on the road and hinted that a UK tour is “in the works”.
Speaking on Capital FM, she said: “I think there’s a lot of fun songs. I wrote the album with a tour in mind, so I think they’re all songs I wanted people to be able to scream in a crowd. Hopefully that’s what’s achieved.”
Meanwhile, Olivia Rodrigo recently revealed she “felt immense pressure” making ‘GUTS’, the follow-up to her record-breaking 2021 debut LP ‘SOUR’.
Speaking on Hits Radio Breakfast, to Fleur East and James Barr, Olivia said: “Making this album definitely had its ups and downs. “And there were some days where I’m just like, wow, the pressure is just insurmountable. I just feel, I don’t know what I’m gonna do, and other days where it was really fun and, you know, had a great time.
“But uh, you know, I think at the end of the day, the most important thing, it sounds like so cheesy and cliché, but I just wanted to make an album that I really liked and felt really proud of.”
Despite being a huge star, the Grammy winner’s private life hasn’t changed.
She said: “Yeah, I mean, it’s a weird dichotomy.
“Because it’s like, my life is completely different in every way, but also like exactly the same and I hang out with the same three people in my living room.
“I have like three close friends and like my parents, and that’s like, social circle. And I like it that way.”
