OHMYGOSSIP — Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic hasn’t completely ruled out the Grunge legends doing an ABBA Voyage-style show with late frontman Kurt Cobain’s hologram.
The ‘Come As You Are’ rockers are currently celebrating the 30th anniversary of their third and final studio album, 1993’s ‘In Utero’, and the bassist was asked if they’d ever consider doing their own avatar show like the Swedish pop icons.
He replied to MOJO magazine: “You never know!
“I’ll say ‘no way’, then it’s like, ‘How much?? When do we start?!’”
It took seven years and $175 million to develop the technology and build the custom-built ABBA Arena near the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London.
The ‘Super Trouper’ hitmakers – Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad – spent a month in motion-capture suits and helmets to help create their avatars, dubbed ‘Abbatars’, in conjunction with Industrial Light and Magic.
Up to 200 staff work on each 90-minute show, which includes a 10-piece live band.
Earlier this year, it was reported that the late David Bowie is set for his own virtual reality avatar show.
The ‘Starman’ singer died of cancer in 2016 aged 69, but fans could get the chance to experience his iconic showmanship once again as discussions are underway to create a digital avatar of the legendary performer.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper in May: “The idea of being able to recreate David’s charisma and electric showmanship for an audience is an intoxicating one, and the prospect of how that might be done is being explored. It’s a very exciting time.”
And Brett Morgen, who directed the 2022 Bowie film ‘Moonage Daydream’ thinks it would be a very “interesting” plan.
He said: “Voyage was one of the greatest cinematic experiences I have ever seen. Could there be a Bowie one? I think there may be some interesting things happening ahead.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Queen’s Roger Taylor, Eric Clapton and Genesis’ Mike Rutherford are among a star-studded line-up set to perform a charity concert in memory of the late Gary Brooker.
The Procol Harum frontman sadly lost his battle with cancer last February, aged 76, and the special concert honouring the composer will take place on December 4 at G Live in Guildford, Surrey,
His chosen charities to benefit from ticket sales are The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and Cure Parkinsons.
Paul Carrack, John Illsley, Andy Fairweather Low and Mike Sanchez are also set to perform alongside a house band of session musicians, including drummer Geoff Dunn, guitarist Geoff Whitehorn and keyboard player Josh Phillips, who all played for Procol Harum, and many more.
Andy Locke, Venue Director at G Live said: “We are honoured to host this very special tribute to Gary Brooker MBE at G Live. Through his charity work, Gary was such a respected member of the Guildford community, and his invaluable contribution to the music industry is demonstrated by the calibre of artists who are joining us at G Live in celebration of his life.”
As well as his career with the ‘Whiter Shade of Pale’ rockers, Gary played, wrote and sang for Clapton’s band and also contributed to Beatles legends Sir Paul McCartney and the late George Harrison’s solo projects.
Procol Harum were initially active between 1967 and 1977.
Despite various line-up changes, they reunited in 1991 and released their latest EP in 2019.
In a statement released upon his passing, the band – which currently comprises Geoff Whitehorn, Matt Pegg, Josh Phillips and Geoff Dunn – said that Gary was the “defining constant” of their history.
The statement read: “Gary’s voice and piano were the single defining constant of Procol’s 50-year international concert career.
“Without any stage antics or other gimmicks he was invariably the most watchable musician in the show. But for all his other interests and skills – prize-winning angler, pub-owner, lyricist, painter, inventor – he was above all a devoted and loyal husband to Franky, whom he met in 1965 and married in 1968.
Our thoughts must be with her, their families and friends at this extremely sad time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Rolling Stones have shared a snippet of Lady Gaga’s vocals and Stevie Wonder’s keys on their eagerly awaited collaboration ‘Sweet Sounds Of Heaven’.
Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood have joined forces with the pop megastar and the Motown legend on the track from their hotly anticipated album ‘Hackney Diamonds’.
In the clip, Gaga belts out “I hear the sweet sounds of Heaven,” followed by Mick requesting: “Play me something, Stevie.”
And his signature soulful, jazzy playing can be heard.
Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John are also featured on ‘Hackney Diamonds’, which is out on October 20.
The former Beatle plays bass guitar on ‘Bite My Head Off’ and the ‘Rocket Man’ hitmaker plays piano on ‘Get Close’ and ‘Live by the Sword’.
Mick recently revealed the band’s collaboration with former rival McCartney was unexpected.
Speaking on ‘Q with Tom Power’, he said: “Paul was in LA when we were recording and he was supposed to work with Andy one week.
“Andy had said, ‘I am working on this record and I will be on it for six months if I do nothing else.
“Andy said, ‘Why don’t we get Paul to come in?’. We suggested he played on this tune, and he really rocked it. We were all in a room together.
“It seemed so natural and Paul was so relaxed and he enjoyed it. John [Lennon] was a close friend of mine and he was so acerbic.
“Paul is a different kind of personality. We don’t see each other that much but we do text.”
The new record will feature late drummer and original member Charlie Watts – who died from cancer aged 80 in August 2021 – on two tracks, with replacement Steve Jordan playing on the other 10.
On ‘Live by the Sword’, the trio are backed by both Charlie and former bassist Bill Wyman, reuniting the original rhythm section of The Rolling Stones. The second song featuring Charlie is ‘Mess It Up’.
So far, the lead single ‘Angry’ has been released.

OHMYGOSSIP — Drake accused Charlamagne Tha God of being “obsessed” with him after he made out “nobody cared” about his collaboration with SZA.
After the exes released their collaboration ‘Slime You Out’ last week, the radio host – whose real name is Lenard Larry McKelvey – tried to make out that no one was interested in the rapper’s latest song.
Speaking on the ‘Brilliant Idiots’ podcast, Charlamagne said: “Drake put out a song last Friday and nobody cared.
“It came out last Friday and people just started talking about the lyrics yesterday… That’s not Drake-like. He’s gonna be fine regardless.”
And reacting, Drake suggested the ‘Breakfast Club’ host is jealous of him.
In a since-deleted post on his Instagram Story, Drake fired back: “Are you ok Lenard?? You kinda weirding me out g.
“Like you really obsessed with me or something for years like you look in the mirror and wish you saw my reflection type s**t…whatever you gotta do to let it out I’m sure your 435 loyal fans will stand by you ya f******g goof.”
In 2020, the broadcaster used the same podcast to put down Drake.
He said: “Let me ask y’all a question: are we still in the Drake era?
“Or is radio such a prehistoric form of media that it hasn’t changed the temperature to what’s actually going on out here in these streets? It still feels like we’re in a Drake era. I don’t think we’re in a Drake era, I don’t think we’ve been in a Drake era for the past three or four years.”
It just so happens that ‘Slime You Out’ – which is from Drake’s new album ‘For All The Dogs’ – has just made its debut at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
It marks the ‘Rich Flex’ rapper’s 12th No. 1 in the US chart, just one below the late Michael Jackson.

OHMYGOSSIP — Halsey has teased her upcoming fifth album.
The 28-year-old star shared a selection on pictures on Instagram and hinted in the caption that a new album is on the way.
The caption said: “Not pictured: me splitting myself in two every day so that I can give you my deepest wounds (and a handful of perfect joys) for the 5th time in 10 years.”
Halsey – who uses the pronouns she /they – previously explained that any new music would feature “no strict genre parameters”.
Speaking previously to fans, they said: “As of right now I’m approaching it kinda how I approached ‘Manic’. No strict genre parameters or anything. Just making what feels good and what hits home 🙂
“definitely some of my best songwriting”. “a lot of life has happened to me since I wrote [‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’]”.
Earlier this year, the ‘Without Me’ hitmaker signed a new record deal with Columbia Records after parting ways with Capitol.
In April, the ’11 Minutes’ singer’s managers, Anti-Pop’s Jason Aron and Anthony Li, confirmed Halsey had departed Capitol Records after eight years.
In a statement issued to Variety, Halsey said at the time: “After eight great years the decision to leave Capitol is bittersweet, but we are excited about exploring a new partnership and sharing new music with fans.”
The label added: “Everyone at Capitol poured their hearts and souls into helping Halsey achieve their dreams and present their music to the world.
“We are incredibly proud of all we accomplished together and wish Halsey the very best in all their future endeavours.”
And the outlet later confirmed that the singer is back with the major label she released her hits ‘Closer’ and ‘Without Me’ via.
While no reason for the split from Capitol’s Astralwerks imprint was made clear, they previously got into a dispute with Capitol about the song ‘So Good’, with the label allegedly wanting the track to go viral on TikTok before its release.
In an ironically viral TikTok, the ‘Bad At Love’ singer claimed the label wouldn’t release the tune, “unless they can fake a viral moment on TikTok”.
She had written in the caption: “Basically I have a song that I love that I wanna release ASAP. But my record label won’t let me.”
She later shared a clip of the track on the video-sharing app and said: “After a tremendous amount of f*** s***, ‘So Good’ is finally coming out June 9th. Video dropping the next day. And now I can go back to using TikTok for my real plan: Using witchcraft to take over the world.
“Thanks for keeping up with this fiasco.
“Hope you love the song.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Eddy Grant’s dad was still encouraging him to quit and train as a doctor a decade ago.
The ‘Electric Avenue’ hitmaker always wanted to be a medic when he was younger and although his father eventually “came to terms” with his decision to pursue music instead, he never gave up hope that his son, now 75, would change his mind.
He told Big Issue magazine: “My father came to terms with it in some way. He travelled with me across Europe sometimes when I was very young.
“But he died maybe 10 years ago and he went to his grave saying to me, look, you’ve been successful as a musician – you’re still young, you can still be a doctor.”
The former Equals guitarist admitted his wife has never got “overly excited” by his career achievements either.
He said: “If I could live any time again, it would be walking with my girlfriend, who would become my wife, along the high street in the Isle of Sheppey, and finding out ‘Baby Come Back’ was going to be number one.
“A couple of young lads walked past and one said, ‘Oi! Look at him! He’s the one!’. And I said, ‘What are you talking about?’ He shouted, ‘You’re going to be number one next week.’
“So I went t a guy selling magazines and he gave me a Melody Maker and there I was with The Equals and it said we were going to be number one. It was quite a moment.
“My wife has not engaged with my music at all.
“She just looks after my business. She does not get overly excited about anything.
“So I didn’t jump up and down. But I was doing backflips in my head.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Mick Jagger still misses late Rolling Stones bandmate Charlie Watts.
Two years after Charlie, 80, passed away following complications from emergency heart surgery, Mick explained how he was still mourning his pal, who he had known since they were both teenagers.
Mick, 80, told SiriusXM: “I knew him since I was 19, and I hung out a lot with Charlie. He was one of my close friends.
“Charlie and I had a lot of interests outside of just playing in a band. We loved football and cricket. Charlie and I used to go to cricket together a lot.
“Charlie’s very knowledgeable about [football] He used to play football hen he was a kid. He was pretty good. Much better than me.
“Charlie loved beautiful objects. He liked antiques, he liked furniture. So we talked a lot about things like that.”
Meanwhile, Mick, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood have recorded a new album ‘Hackney Diamonds’, their first since drummer Charlie’s death.
And, it features a number of stars, including Lady Gaga, who collaborated on the track ‘Sweet Sound of Heaven’.
Mick previously explained: “She walked in next to me and we started singing together. She sang it live and then we went in and tidied it up a bit.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Shiflett has to work not to “let the devil get in [his] head” when he’s on stage.
The 52-year-old musician – who is best known as a guitarist in the Foo Fighters – admitted one of the most difficult things when he is performing is not to focus on the one or two audience members who may not be responding the way he hopes.
He told Guitarist magazine: “I think most musicians are battling insecurity on some level.
“It’s funny because musicians are all narcissists too. It does take some ego to say, ‘This is my idea, listen to it!’
“The hardest thing with performing is not letting the devil get in your head.
“It can be the best f****** crowd and there’s one guy at the back laughing – and that f**** up your whole thing.
“It’s nuts, y’know.”
Chris finds it particularly tough when he’s performing his alt-country solo material because it doesn’t garner the reaction he is used to when playing in bands.
He added: “The thing that f**** me up the most was in my younger years playing in No Use For A Name, where the barometer for whether it was a good gig was how hard the crowd danced and how wild the pit was.
“That ruined me for the rest of my life because I don’t play music that garners that reaction.
“You just try to keep the dark thoughts out when you’re on stage.”
The rocker has stopped trying to make too many career plans.
He said: “I want to get back over to the UK before too long.
“With Foos, we’ve got touring. Beyond that, it’s like, I’m a f****** musician – so who knows what will happen?
“I gave up trying to even think about it because after these last two years, it’s like the world has a funny way of changing your plans.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Minogue can’t wait to “party” during her Las Vegas residency.
The 55-year-old pop star will begin her residency at The Venetian hotel in Sin City in November, and Kylie has revealed that she can’t wait to have some fun in Vegas.
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “Hell yes, I will go out in Vegas.
“I can walk down the strip. Why not? I will figure it out.
“I did that when I did a pre-show visit to check out the city.
“I can still party.
“My typical thing is that I say, ‘No, no, I can’t – it’s a school night. I’m busy’.
“But then I go and I am the last one there. I am up on top of the bar. That is usually me.”
Despite this, Kylie doesn’t have any interest in hitting the roulette tables in Vegas.
The pop star is instead keen to enjoy “the entertainment and the food”.
She said: “Honestly, I am really not good at gambling. It’s not my thing.
“I will probably say, ‘Right, you have 20 bucks’ and go to a ten-cent slot machine.
“I am just there for the entertainment and the food.”
Meanwhile, Kylie has confessed to being surprised by her own success in the music industry.
The singer – who is the highest-selling female Australian artist of all time – shared: “If someone told me when I was 17 and I made my first demo tape that I was going to have a place in global pop music it would have been mind-blowing.
“I didn’t have a plan. I am not very good at long-term planning. I am more reactive.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ozzy Osbourne wanted to be Slipknot’s 10th member.
The band’s frontman Corey Taylor has recalled his first meeting with the 74-year-old Black Sabbath star after he got them on the bill for his Ozzfest music festival back in 1999 – revealing they got offered the gig because Ozzy’s son Jack was a huge fan – and Ozzy offered to round out the masked band’s line-up by becoming the 10th member.
Speaking to Classic Rock magazine, Corey explained: “The reason Slipknot got onto Ozzfest is because we were [Ozzy’s son] Jack’s favourite band. Sharon gave us a little more leeway because of that. We did some crazy s***, but she’d be, ‘It’s fine, it’s Slipknot’.”
He added: “I was sitting at a table with Jack and Kelly and Sharon. All of sudden, Ozzy comes bounding up: ‘Sharon, can you help me with my earrings?’ And Sharon goes, ‘Ozzy, this is one of the members of Slipknot, it’s Corey, he’s the singer.’
“He looks at me and goes, “You’re the guys with nine members? I wanna be number 10!” I was like, ‘Dude, you’re Ozzy, anything you want!’ It was like meeting Superman.”
It comes after Ozzy Osbourne was forced to cancel a performance at the Power Trip festival Indio, California in October due to his ongoing health issues. He made the announcement in July and his family have since admitted they can’t discuss the topic at home because he finds it too upsetting.
His daughter Kelly Osbourne told Rolling Stone magazine: “We can’t talk about it in the house because it is just so heartbreaking to see that all he wants is just one more show.” His wife Sharon added: “And Ozzy wants to be on that show with all his friends. “It’s heartbreaking for him to see everybody going on, and he’s just left behind.” The pair admitted Ozzy – who has Parkinson’s disease – is capable of singing his hits for fans, but he doesn’t want to leave them feeling short-changed by having to do the gig without moving around.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bob Dylan made a surprise appearance at Farm Aid at the weekend.
The music legend previously performed at the first two charity concerts in 1985 and 1986 to raise awareness about the loss of family farms and to raise funds to keep farm families on the land.
The annual event was the brainchild of Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp.
Bob, 82, returned to the stage at Ruoff Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana, on Saturday (23.09.23) to perform ‘Maggie’s Farm’ for the first time in 14 years, plus ‘Positively 4th Street’ and ‘Ballad Of A Thin Man’.
He was joined on stage by backing band The Heartbreakers and played guitar on all three songs.
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Post Malone’s unfinished song using Bob Dylan’s unused lyrics likely won’t see the light of day.
Producer Michael Cash claimed that after Dylan handed over the rights to his archived track ‘Be Not Deceived’, which Malone worked on for Cash’s project ‘The Attic MP3s’, the ‘Circles’ hitmaker didn’t get a chance to put the finishing touches to the tune, and in the end, Dylan, via his representative Jeff Rosen, told them they would “retract” their rights to the lost song.
Cash told Rolling Stone: “We got the stenciling done, he got some colours in, but he definitely wasn’t finished.
“It needed flair. It needed more layers. It wasn’t a complete piece of music, but it was definitely a song. It had a beginning, a middle, and an end. There was a bridge, there was a chorus. It just needed to be finished.”
He revealed how it “went from being something to be excited about to just turning into a circular, figure-eight pattern.”
Cash continued: “Rosen said to me at a certain point, ‘Well, we’re just going to retract the lyrics.’
“Bob and Mr. Rosen do things a specific way.
“They get things done in a New York minute, and then it started to become… Honestly, they just were like, ‘This should be finished.’”
He added: “It just seems like nobody really managed expectations, and it just seems like nobody communicated. A really cool piece of music got made, and then it just got weird. It got really weird.”
The project would have included the likes of Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole, too, and be like the 2014 Dylan tribute record ‘Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapes’, which saw Elvis Costello, Marcus Mumford, and Taylor Goldsmith record songs from the ‘Mr. Tambourine Man’s leftover lyrics.
Malone is a die-hard Dylan fan and “cried” when he heard the lyrics, which are “about a loss of innocence and what people are going through — disfranchised, kind of leaderless masses of children with no parent or guardian or shepherd or anything. It talked about going out and making your own way. And when you read it, honestly, it’s poetry. It’s beautiful.”
The 28-year-old star has a tattoo of Dylan – along with his other idols Kurt Cobain, John Lennon and Elvis Presley on his knuckles – and in 2017, he revealed that the ‘Blowin’ In The Wind’ singer suggested he work harder at his lyrics.
He said: “I’m a big Bob Dylan fan. I have a nice Bob Dylan tattoo.
“He’s a genius and I heard that his grandson played my music for him and he liked the music be he said I need help with lyrics.”

OHMYGOSSIP — BLACKPINK star Jennie has teased a new solo song.
The K-pop star – who shot to global superstardom as a member of the South Korean girl group – is set to release a new song that only she could release.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar Korea and translated to English by Korea JoongAng Daily, she said: “I’m making a song that’s by Jennie, the most Jennie and something unique that is only Jennie’s.”
Jennie recently teamed up with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp on the track ‘One Of The Girls’ from their HBO series ‘The Idol’.
And she released her debut solo single, ‘Solo’, back in 2018.
Meanwhile, YG Entertainment has rubbished a report that suggested Jennie and bandmate Jisoo – who are joined by Lisa and Rosé in the ‘Pink Venom’ group – are planning to launch their own “one-man agency”.
The label also insisted that BLACKPINK’s contract renewal negotiations are still ongoing.
The entertainment agency said in a statement: “Nothing has been confirmed regarding BLACKPINK’s contract renewals and their future activities.”
It had been claimed that only Rosé was going to renew her contract with YG.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK recently marked their 7th anniversary by paying tribute to their loyal fan base.
The girls took to their respective Instagram accounts to thank their Blinks for making their dreams come true.
Rosé penned on Instagram alongside a series of snapshots of moments from their career so far: “Thank you, BLACKPINK for being such a blessing in my life. I have really been able to experience everything and more than what I have ever dreamed of growing up as an aspiring artist.
“Thank you, thank you and thank you a thousand times.”
Lisa wrote: “7 is one of my favorite numbers and I hope this year will be a lucky one for us. (sic)”

And Jisoo added to her account in two separate posts: “BLACKPINK is always in your area” and “Blinks, BLACKPINK forever.”
The four-piece is the highest-charting female Korean act on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 13 with ‘Ice Cream’ in 2020, and on the Billboard 200, peaking at number one with their second studio album, 2022’s ‘Born Pink’, which is the best-selling album of all time by a female act in South Korea and the first to sell over two million copies.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Minogue failed at going TikTok viral before ‘Padam Padam’.
The 55-year-old pop star attracted a whole new generation of fans after the lead single from her latest album, ‘Tension’, swiftly racked up views and was reused in clips on the video-sharing site, but Kylie has admitted she had tried it before with another song and it flopped.
Speaking to ‘ABC News Breakfast’, she said: “I attempted to kind of get on the TikTok train before, but it wasn’t working for me.
“I tried it — I just don’t know how to do it.”
Kylie recently has confessed that it has taken a lot of strength to keep coming back.
She told OK! Magazine: “I feel like a lot of good things are coming together at the same time.
“Every artist that’s ever existed was also riddled with insecurity and self-doubt and all of that stuff.
“But I feel like now it’s OK.”
She added: “I don’t know that everyone knows the extent of what it’s taken for me to keep doing this. The respect is there. It’s taken it’s good old time.
“I feel a lot more peaceful than I did a while ago.”
Meanwhile, Kylie has admitted she would have “regretted” leaving her Las Vegas residency much later.
The pop superstar – who since beginning her career in the 1980s has released 15 studio albums and sold 80 million records worldwide – will follow in the footsteps of fellow music legends like Sir Elton John, Adele, and Britney Spears when she takes to the stage in Sin City this November and feels that the three-month residency has come at the “perfect time” in her career.
She told HELLO! Magazine: “It’s going to be an amazing time! It’s glamour…a little bit of Vegas, but magic. I always thought it would happen at some point. I think if I had done this earlier in my career, it might have been a bit too early. If I’d done it much later, I’d regret it being too much later. Right now, in my life – in my career – it feels like the perfect point, the perfect moment where I’ve got the catalogue, I’ve got the history but I’ve got the drive and the ambition to go so much further!”
The ‘Spinning Around’ hitmaker went on to explain that she will always be “grateful” for ‘Padam Padam’, ahead of her residency at The Venetian Resort.
She said: “It’s been an incredible journey! I will forever be grateful for what ‘Padam’ has given me and what it has given my audience. It’s such a joy that my audience and then some have taken it as their own, all the TikToks and the Reels…it’s gone beyond anything I could have imagined!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Terry Kirkman, co-founder of the 60s vocal group The Association, has died aged 83.
The American singer and songwriter passed away on Saturday (23.09.23) from congestive heart failure after a long illness.
A statement on the group’s official Facebook page read: “We’re saddened to report that Terry Kirkman passed away last night, RIP Terry. He will live on in our hearts and in the music he so brilliantly wrote.”
Terry was not only a vocalist in the group but penned several of their hits, including ‘Cherish’, ‘Everything That Touches You’, and ‘Six Man Band’.
Before forming his own groups, the musician played with Frank Zappa before the satire legend formed the Mothers of Invention. Terry and his friend Jules Alexander went on to founder the folk group the Inner Tubes, former bandmates of which included Cass Elliott and David Crosby. The group grew to have 13 members and would go on to be known as The Men.
After they split in 1965, he would go on to form the sunshine pop outfit The Association.
As well as Terry and Jules, the band’s line-up included Russ Giguere, Ted Bluechel Jr., Brian Cole and Bob Page, and his replacement Jim Yester.
Their first big break in their homeland came with 1966’s ‘Along Comes Mary’, which made it to number 7 in the Billboard chart.
The track was featured on their debut album ‘And Then… Along Comes the Association’, which boasted their first-ever number one hit, ‘Cherish’.
He left The Association in 1972. They reformed in 1979 before he left again in 1984.
After quitting the music business, Terry worked in California as an addiction counselor.
Terry and his bandmates were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2003.
He is survived by his wife Heidi, daughter Sasha, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jungkook is set to release ‘3D’ featuring Jack Harlow this week.
The BTS star teased his new solo song with a video teaser during his performance at the 2023 Global Citizen Festival in New York at the weekend.
Big Hit Music later confirmed that the track with the ‘First Class’ hitmaker is dropping on Friday (29.09.23), whilst describing it as a “pop R’n’B track with clever expressions of feelings toward an unattainable person from the perspectives of first, second and third dimensions.”
The label has also shared a series of visuals in promotion of the new tune.
The star recently released his debut solo single ‘Seven’ with American rapper Latto.
And he’s set to release a “mini album” by November.
Speaking to his BTS bandmate Suga on his talk show ‘Suchwita’, Jungkook teased: “I have another single. And then, I’ll be releasing a small mini album by November.”
Jungkook admitted it was challenging following up ‘Seven’.
Asked if he’s finished the collection, he confessed: “No. I have to start working on them now.
“I want a song like [‘Seven’] for my second single too, but I haven’t found it.”
Suga suggested he write Jungkook a song.
Jungkook went on to admit that if he didn’t land on ‘Seven’, fans wouldn’t have gotten his debut track for a while longer as he was enjoying his hiatus.
He admitted: “The moment I heard it, I was like ‘I have to do this’. Without the song ‘Seven’, I might’ve still been on a break right now.
“I was totally enjoying my time off, and this song got me started again.”
In a recent interview, Jungkook admitted his musical ambition is to become “more appreciated and be even better”.
He told Weverse Magazine: “In a word: cool. That’s the whole reason I’m doing this. I want to be that kind of pop star someday – I want to be able to really experience that feeling…
“I hope the day comes that I can look at myself from a third-person perspective and give myself that kind of recognition.
“I’ll know I’m that kind of pop star once I can do that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Take That have seemingly teased a UK football stadium tour.
The band’s logo has been projected onto several football stadiums, including Plymouth Argyle’s Home Park, Swansea City, Norwich City, Nottingham Forest, MK Dons, Middlesbrough FC, Southampton FC and Bristol City.
Frontman Gary Barlow shared the series of pictures of the projections on his Instagram Stories.
A tour is yet to be announced.
However, according to DevonLive, it will take place in 2024 and be officially announced imminently.
Take That have also teased 13-second snippet a new song called ‘Windows’, which arrives in full on Friday (22.09.23).
The ‘Back For Good’ hitmakers inked a new deal with EMI Music Publishing earlier this year, and their upcoming LP will mark their first full length collection since signing on the dotted line.
Gary’s bandmate Howard Donald – who completes the current lineup alongside Mark Owen – previously hinted at a “new direction” with the new tunes and teased that the album is “sounding absolutely brilliant”.
He said: “We went out to Savannah (in Georgia) to actually record an album. We all did all our own stuff and we wrote together.
“We’re pretty much in there, now. We’re not far from finished. We’re very excited because it’s kind of a new direction for us as well.
“There are some cracking songs, well, I’ve got to say that. It’s sounding absolutely brilliant.”
The pop trio reunited onstage at the King’s Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle in May, where they gave the live debut of their dance version of their track ‘Greatest Day’ with Calum Scott and DJ Robin Schulz.
