Becky G says Latinas ;start wearing makeup younger’

OHMYGOSSIP — Becky G says Latinas “start wearing makeup younger”.
The ‘Shower’ hitmaker – real name Rebbeca Gomez and is of Mexican heritage – called the practice a bit “taboo” compared to other cultures but still painted her face with cosmetics when she was a child for special occasions.
The 25-year-old singer told Teen Vogue: “Culturally speaking, Latinas, we start wearing makeup younger, but it’s also taboo.
Becky – who was the first ever Latina spokesmodel for CoverGirl – says inclusivity for Black Latinos started in the “initial conversation” for her beauty brand, Treslúce.
She said: “That was part of our initial conversation from the very beginning. To say that there is the Black community and then the Latinx community eliminates the fact that there are Black Latinos. I really want to be so intentional with how we represent Latinx culture because it’s not a one size fits all.”
“I’ve been the Latina face for a lot of brands and not everyone looks like me. Not everyone identifies with their Latinx culture the same way I do. And so, I’d love to create a space where if you are a part of the Latinx community, you feel represented and you feel seen… Latinidad is different for everyone.”
The ‘MAMII’ hitmaker described herself as a “student of life” as she has worked in the entertainment industry since she was a child.
Becky said: “I identify more with my community than my class. I identify more with the fact that I’m a daughter and a sister, and a granddaughter than I do a pop star. It’s hard. I see myself in the mirror like everyone else in the morning. Brush my teeth like everyone else in the morning. At least, I hope they brush their teeth. I’m a student of life, man. I may have 10-plus years under my belt of being in this industry, but one of my favorite quotes is, ‘If it’s not growing, it’s death.’”

Fran Drescher says clothes are ‘wearable art’

OHMYGOSSIP — Fran Drescher says clothes are “wearable art”.
The ex ‘The Nanny’ star thinks that fashion is “an expression” of what we believe ourselves to be and what you want to “project” when you are walking around as a part of the world.
The 64-year-old actress told Interview magazine: “We don’t walk around in society naked, so clothes become an expression of who we are and how we feel. It’s a reflection of our inner selves, the you you want to project to the outside world. One of power, one of sophistication, one of fun, one of youth. I always consider clothing wearable art.
Fran says there “were times” when Fran Fine – her character on the 90s sitcom who was hired to look after Broadway theatre producer Max Sheffield’s three children Maggie, Brighton and Grace – inspired her own wardrobe.
She said: “There were times when there was some overlap. I went through a period when I liked that biker look, while The Nanny was happening. I’d wear motorcycle boots and leather jackets and chains and things. In one episode, she dressed like that, but it wasn’t really her look. She was trying to look like somebody else, but in real life, I actually enjoyed looking like that. Also, at times I dressed more sophisticated than my character in The Nanny. There were times where I’d come down those stairs in gorgeous long evening gowns. I was wearing a lot of that designer—oh god, I’m blanking—the one who sewed together those tight rubber bands?”
The ‘Happily Divorced’ star expressed her fear of being “a fashion victim”.
Fran said: “I never wanted to be a fashion victim. I always wanted to complement my figure—and I have an hourglass figure.”
She also admitted to being a fan of “monochromatic looks” because “it makes such a great statement”.

Fran Drescher has always admired Audrey Hepburn’s style

OHMYGOSSIP — Fran Drescher has always admired Audrey Hepburn’s style.
The former ‘The Nanny’ star thinks the late ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ star’s style was “very special and different” from other actresses she saw as a child.
The 64-year-old actress told Interview magazine: “Well, I come from a very humble beginning and a small provincial world. But for some reason, I could see that the style of Audrey Hepburn, who I would see in movies on television, was something that I wanted to aspire to. I knew that her look was very special and different from what I was used to. When I was a little girl, my parents didn’t have a lot of money, but I rarely said I wanted anything, so when I did fall in love with something, they tried to get it for me. I saw this beautiful tweed winter coat that had a neck shawl that wrapped over the shoulder. It was very sophisticated for a little girl. It was expensive for them, but they bought it for me because when I wore that coat, I felt like Audrey Hepburn.”
Fran detailed her love of learning about fashion history, especially after seeing it take shape in the 90s with brands like Moschino and Chanel.
She said: “I always love going to museums that celebrate fashion—fashion exhibitions. In the ’80s, and certainly in the ’90s when The Nanny was on, I was discovering designers like Todd Oldham and Moschino, but also Chanel. Chanel was starting to get younger in its look. Karl Lagerfeld really brought a youthful energy without delineating away from the core of the brand. He didn’t reinvent the wheel, he just made it better, faster, younger, and more contemporary for the time. He was kind of doing the Chanel version of Madonna.”
‘The Beautician and the Beast’ star labelled fashion as “an expression” of our identities and feelings.
Fran said: “We don’t walk around in society naked, so clothes become an expression of who we are and how we feel. It’s a reflection of our inner selves, the you you want to project to the outside world. One of power, one of sophistication, one of fun, one of youth. I always consider clothing wearable art.”

Natasha Lyonne thinks it is ‘insane’ to wear high heels on boats

OHMYGOSSIP — Natasha Lyonne thinks it is “insane” to wear high heels on boats.
The ‘Russian Doll’ star believes there should be “a system” for alighting a canal boat while attending the the Venice Film Festival.
The 43-year-old actress told Elle.com: “Do you know, you have to get dressed up and then get on a boat? Once I realized that, I thought, “Okay, somebody must have thought this through—there must be a system for getting off a boat at the Venice Film Festival if you’re wearing heels. Sure enough, there is. It is insane.
Natasha – who collaborated with the high street fashion brand COS – loves working in both the film and fashion industry because she gets to see “insanely talented people” do their best.
She said: “Oh, well if I’m lucky, I really enjoy myself on them. And I really enjoyed myself on COS. There’s a thing where when I work with really, insanely talented people in fashion or entertainment, I realize that the majority of people are not insanely talented.”
The ‘But I’m A Cheerleader’ star believes there is a knock on effect of working with “great people” because it leads to a sort of “ease” on set.
Natasha said: “What I’ve noticed, in both cases, is when you work with great people, there’s a comfort and an easiness there that’s not quite so stressed… If you’re doing it right, and if you trust your work, the stress in a work environment really goes away. It’s like the opposite of being unsure, wondering, “Did this actually come off the way it was intended?” And when you move with that kind of ease, you put everyone else at ease, too… At this point, I try not to wear stuff that makes me feel physically uncomfortable in my skin. Nobody benefits from making other people uncomfortable—definitely not in fashion.”

The Princess of Wales wore Queen Elizabeth II’s necklace to her state funeral

OHMYGOSSIP — The Princess of Wales wore Queen Elizabeth II’s necklace to her state funeral.
Princess Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge sported a diamond and pearl choker to her grandmother-in-law’s funeral at Westminster Abbey on Monday (19.09.2022) from the Queen’s collection after previously wearing it to Prince Philip’s funeral in April 2021 and at the 70th wedding anniversary of the couple, who wed in 1947.
According to the Telegraph the monarch – who died aged 96 at Balmoral on 8 September after more than seven decades reigning over the UK and other territories – got the statement piece of jewellery made after the Japanese government and often wore it in the 80s and 90s.
Along with the necklace at the funeral – which was attended by world leaders such as US President Joe Biden, Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and included speakers such as Baroness Scotland – Kate added a pair of pearl and diamond earrings, which also came from the Queen’s collection and were made with seven pearls given to Her Majesty as a wedding present from the Hakim of Bahrain.
Both pieces were often borrowed by the 40-year-old Queen-to-be’s mother-in-law, the late Princess Diana, who while she was married to now-King Charles III was known as the Princess of Wales, a title that Kate has assumed since the accession of the 73-year-old monarch to the throne.
The eulogy for the Queen was given by the Archbishop of Canterbury, who praised her ability to keep her vow to keep her life “dedicated” to public service.
He said: “The pattern for many leaders is to be exalted in life and forgotten after death.
“The pattern for all who serve God – famous or obscure, respected or ignored – is that death is the door to glory. Her Late Majesty famously declared in a 21st birthday broadcast that her whole life would be dedicated to serving the Nation and Commonwealth. Rarely has such a promise been so well kept!
“Few leaders receive the outpouring of love we have seen. Jesus – who in our reading does not tell his disciples how to follow, but who – said: “I am the way, the truth and the life”. Her Late Majesty’s example was not set through her position or her ambition, but through whom she followed. I know His Majesty shares the same faith and hope in Jesus Christ as his mother; the same sense of service and duty.
“In 1953 the Queen began her Coronation with silent prayer, just there at the High Altar. Her allegiance to God was given before any person gave allegiance to her. Her service to so many people in this nation, the Commonwealth and the world had its foundation in her following Christ – God himself – who said that he “came not to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.
“People of loving service are rare in any walk of life. Leaders of loving service are still rarer. But in all cases those who serve will be loved and remembered when those who cling to power and privileges are forgotten.”

No pain, no gain!: Kourtney Kardashian loves beauty treatments that cause ‘pain’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kourtney Kardashian is all about “painful” beauty treatments.
The Poosh founder – who has just launched a sustainable boohoo collection – has insisted she is not afraid of “needling and blood” if it gives her flawless skin.
The raven-haired beauty – who was filmed getting her vagina steamed with roses to help stimulate pregnancy amid her and husband Travis Barker’s IVF journey for her family’s Hulu show ‘The Kardashians’ – told E! News: “Zone into the pain.
“It’s all for a good cause.”
She continued: “I’m down for some painful treatments, like needles, needling and blood. And I don’t numb, I’m not into numbing creams. I like to feel it and experience it and know that it’s working.”
The 43-year-old reality star said she approached fast fashion brand boohoo about a collaboration because she wanted to use her huge platform to persuade them to change practices and consider the firm’s carbon footprint.
Kourtney – who has three kids with ex-partner Scott Disick – said: “The first thing you think about with fast fashion is how it’s bad for the planet.
“So, I felt like why not use this opportunity and take my platform and try to push the fast fashion brands to try to make change?”
She added: “I said to boohoo, ‘How cool would it be if you guys make all these changes and then everyone would feel like they want to get their clothes here because nothing else compares?’ I think getting to that place would be really cool.”

Cara Delevingne hopes Karl Lagerfeld would be proud of her capsule collection

OHMYGOSSIP — Cara Delevingne likes to imagine the late Karl Lagerfeld would wear pieces from the “sustainable, genderless” collection she has launched under his name.
The 30-year-old actress-and-model has designed the size-inclusive capsule CARA LOVES KARL – which includes tailored suits, tuxedo blazers and accessories such as a bumbag and belts – in homage to their lengthy friendship and working relationship.
She said: “I am so proud of the collection I have created along with the incredibly talented team at KARL LAGERFELD.
“Karl was, and still is, an extremely important influence in my life and I’m honoured to have created this collection under his name. I believe that Karl would have been very proud of the sustainable, genderless direction we went with, and I like to imagine he even would have worn some of the pieces himself. I can’t wait to see how people wear all the different pieces we created.”
Cara recently shared how Lagerfeld taught her to appreciate how “interesting fashion is”.
The ‘Carnival Row’ star admits she “didn’t really know that much about fashion” before she started working with the legendary designer, who died in February 2019, aged 85.
She shared: “I didn’t really know that much about fashion before I started. I never really gave it that much credit. He taught me so much more about fashion in terms of its possibilities.”
Cara has also praised Lagerfeld for giving her the confidence and space that she needed to grow within the fashion industry.
The London-born star – who won the Model of the Year gong at the British Fashion Awards in 2012 and 2014 – said: “He really influenced me so much.
“He never told me to do anything specifically, but he allowed me the space to grow, and he would treat me like a friend … He was so human with me and it made me feel so much more comfortable in myself.”
The catwalk star has become much more thoughtful about fashion since she worked with the fashion icon.
She said: “I don’t think that people should be judged by what they wear, but when you ask people why they wear what they wear, it’s a very interesting story. And even if they don’t care about what they’re wearing, that’s also interesting, too.”
The ‘Life in a Year’ star has also become much more hands-on with her work over recent years.
She said: “It was very important for me to see samples, to be involved as much as possible.”

Hailey Bieber loves a ‘great blazer’

OHMYGOSSIP — Hailey Bieber loves a “great blazer”.
The Rhode founder has just brought a basics capsule with Wardrobe.NYC, and she has admitted if she could only wear one item from the line for the rest of her life, it would be the blazer.
She told ELLE: “My go-to is usually a great pair of slouchy pants, a well-fitted tee or tank, a great blazer or leather jacket, and all-black sunnies.”
Asked which item from the collection she’d choose if she could only wear that single piece forever, she replied: “So hard to choose, but I would wear the blazer forever. I feel like it’s a really timeless and versatile piece that goes with everything!”
As well as a good blazer, the 25-year-old model loves pairing bikinis and sneakers.
Hailey previously revealed she finds it bizarre that people think she is “strange” for wearing sneakers with a bikini in the summer.
She is a Levi’s 501s-wearer too.
She said: “I’m the type of person — and some people think this is really strange — I like to wear sneakers with my bikini.”
Hailey continued: “I was listening to KISS FM radio and they were talking about me wearing sneakers with my bikini on the radio. Is it that crazy that I wore Nike Air Force 1s with a bathing suit? Because I guess the internet was like, ‘Why is she wearing sneakers with her bikini?’
“To me it’s like, I wear a bikini. I put on [Levi’s] 501s and I put on sneakers. That’s my vibe in the summertime.
“If I’m packing for a trip in the summertime, if I’m going away to the beach for the weekend, it has to be a pair of 501s.”
Hailey has been the face of the denim jeans since 2019.
Justin Bieber’s wife previously admitted the collaboration was an obvious choice because she stole her first pair of Levi’s from her dad, Stephen Baldwin, and she still wears them “today”.
She said: “I’ve been wearing 501 cutoffs since I can remember. They make me feel like me. I still wear them today.”
Meanwhile, when it comes to her style, the catwalk beauty takes inspiration from the designers and creative directors she works with when modelling.
She said previously: “I’ve gotten to work with so many people and get a feel for other people’s tastes and see their style. I’m so inspired by clothes and fashion. I really love clothes, so I pay really close attention to what designers and creative directors do in terms of cuts and fits. I’m big on the way things look and fit on me.”

Kourtney Kardashian is ‘proud of’ her Boohoo collection

OHMYGOSSIP — Kourtney Kardashian is “proud of” her Boohoo collection.
‘The Kardashians’ star says her line with the fast fashion retailer is made “with intention and purpose” and something she thought long and hard about before signing on the dotted line.
The 43-year-old reality television personality wrote on Instagram: “I thought about the attention this collaboration would bring to people who may otherwise have no idea about the impacts of fast fashion on our planet. I thought about how pushing Boohoo to make some initial changes and then holding them accountable to larger change would be impactful. It’s definitely making some noise which is exactly what I was hoping for.”
Kourtney – who is mother to Mason, 12, Penelope, 10, and Reign, seven, with her ex Scott Disick, 39, and recently tied the knot with Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker – admitted that she didn’t “have all the answers” about the industry’s carbon footprint, which is estimated to account for 10 per cent of all global emissions.
She said: “I certainly don’t have all the answers, but for someone who has done a fast fashion line collaboration in the past, which didn’t get backlash because I was not calling attention to trying to make better changes, I feel proud about doing it with intention and purpose,”
“I went back and forth about doing this collection with @boohoo because the first thing I think about when I hear the words ‘fast fashion’ is that it’s bad for our planet. Boohoo approached me to be a sustainability ambassador, and though I knew it would get backlash because the two just don’t go hand in hand, I thought about the fact that fast fashion, or the fashion industry in general, isn’t going anywhere.”
The former ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star asked for anyone with any ideas to come forward, appealing to “any experts who have ideas, suggestions ( I have already seen some of you and will absolutely be reaching out to talk and learn more) to reach out.”
“I want to help and from my experience so far working with the team I work with at Boohoo, they do too. I will be elaborating on their changes, how we’ve made this line more sustainable, and what I’ve learned we as consumers can do to help… all to come!!”

Lisa Rinna won’t wear crop tops

OHMYGOSSIP — Lisa Rinna won’t wear crop tops.
‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star says she “can’t” bear her midriff and wants to leave that trend to the younger generations – such as her two model daughters with her husband Harry Hamlin, 70; Amelia Grey, 24, and Delilah Belle, 21 – while she gushed about how much she loved the collection.
After walking the Priscavera Spring/Summer 2023 show in Brooklyn during New York Fashion Week, the 59-year-old actress told Interview magazine: “I wouldn’t do the midriffs. I would have my daughters do the midriffs. I mean, there comes a point where you just don’t. At my age, you don’t do midriffs. You can wear a bathing suit but you can’t do midriffs.”
Lisa called the collection “fabulous” and something she could wear to any occasion in her busy Bravo life.
She said: This collection is so fabulous. For me, you could wear it on Watch What Happens Live. You could wear it on the show. You could wear it out. My girls could wear it. I can wear the dress that I wore today. I mean, I f***** love this collection.”
The former ‘Days of Our Lives’ star labelled the white dress she sported on the runway – which she needed an inch taken from the bottom to stop any tripping hazards – as “classic old school” and reminiscent of Tom Ford when he was the creative director of Gucci in the 90s.
After being asked how she would describe it, Lisa said: Well, it was kind of classic old school. Tom Ford Gucci 1996. Right?”

Quinta Brunson felt like a ‘little mini Brown Jessica Rabbit’ at the 2022 Primetime Emmy Awards

OHMYGOSSIP — Quinta Brunson felt like a “little mini Brown Jessica Rabbit” at the 2022 Primetime Emmy Awards.
The ‘Abbot Elementary’ star – who became the first Black woman to win a solo writing Emmy for the pilot episode of her ABC sitcom set in an underfunded Philadelphia school on Sunday night (11.09.2022) – and her stylist Bryon Javar “landed” on a “beautiful” Dolce and Gabbana gown after they thought it would be “really ridiculous” to wear gold to the already glitzy awards ceremony.
The 3x-year-old actress told ‘To the Nines’, a video for Vanityfair.com: “It feels very old Hollywood to me and little mini brown Jessica Rabbit.”
Quinta added“But we had a conversation about the structure,” as got glam for the biggest in television, before remembering “ Oh the color, cause at first he’s like gold and I was like you can’t be that girl that wears gold to the Emmys that’s really ridiculous so we landed on this beautiful, like bronze brown and I just love it so much.
The ‘Black Lady Sketch Show’ star and Bryon “knew” that they were likely to opt for the Italian fashion house.
Quinta said: “We knew that we would probably go with Dolce and Gabbana. Brian has cultivated, like, such wonderful looks for me. I’m only 4’11 so we had to have conversations about my little but mighty body.”
While on the red carpet, she detailed how she longed for “va-va voom” and worthy of her multi hyphenated involvement in the sitcom that also saw Sheryl Lee Ralph get the gong for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role.
Quinta told Laverne Cox: “I really wanted something that made me feel va-va-voom, but also respectful. I feel like I kind of have to do three jobs at once: actress, producer and writer. So it can be hard to find something that makes me comfortable being all three [while] also wearing something that makes me feel good and sexy and proud.”

Hannah Waddingham wore sneakers on Emmys red carpet

OHMYGOSSIP — Hannah Waddingham wore sneakers to the Emmy Awards.
The ‘Ted Lasso’ actress joked the “best thing” about the floor-length pink Dolce and Gabbana gown she’d chosen for Monday (12.09.22) night’s ceremony was the fact no one could see she had opted for comfort over style and decided not to wear high-heeled shoes.
Showing off her sparkly footwear to ‘Live From E!’ reporter Loni Love, she said: “You know what the best thing about this is?. Nobody knows I have heels on underneath.”
And when Loni revealed she had done the same, Hannah exclaimed: “I feel like we’ve got the inside scoop and everyone else is doing the [click-click] thing.
“I don’t want to wear heels.
The 48-year-old actress won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at last year’s ceremony and although she was nominated for the same accolade this year, she admitted her previous win had made her “feel so relaxed and genuinely happy to be here.”
Hannah – who lost out to ‘Abbott Elementary’ star Sheryl Lee Ralph – added: “It kind of takes the heat off you a bit. And my category is the most ridiculous embarrassment of riches. So anyone that gets up, I’ll be like, ‘F’ yeah!’ ”
The upcoming third series of ‘Ted Lasso’ is rumoured to be its last, but Hannah stayed tight-lipped when asked to confirm if that is the case.
She simply said: “I think that it might be, in terms of the end of a story. But, who knows?”
The former ‘Game of Thrones’ star previously admitted she didn’t want co-star and writer Jason Sudeikis to call it a day just yet.
She said: If I were Apple and Warner Bros., I’d be leaning on him like a lunatic and putting him in a corner in a little cage and giving him a notebook and a pen. It’s too beautiful.”

Elle Fanning paid tribute to The Great’s costume team with Emmys gown

OHMYGOSSIP — Elle Fanning wanted to “pay homage” to ‘The Great’s costume team at the Emmy Awards.
The 24-year-old actress – who was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series but lost out to ‘Hacks’ star Jean Smart – worked with the show’s costume designer Sharon Long and seamstress Catherine Shaw to create the pink and black gown she wore to Monday’s (12.09.22) ceremony in Los Angeles after taking inspiration from the personal nature of 1950s red carpet wear.
Speaking to Laverne Cox on ‘Live From E!’, Elle explained: “I’ve always been inspired by the glamour of the ’50s, specifically when costume designers would design actresses gowns. It’s so special and you can see those dresses are made with love.
“Once I got nominated, I thought, ‘Wouldn’t it be amazing if [Sharon] designed my dress?'”
Sharon and Catherine happily obliged and worked after-hours to hand make the dress.
Elle said: “I wanted to pay homage to the creatives on our show, because the world that’s created in The Great, the way it looks is so important.”
The actress went on to praise the show’s make-up and wardrobe teams for how they help her to get into character.
She said: “They transform you, especially with characters,” Elle explained. “You get up in the morning and you feel like yourself, all tired in sweatpants and boom! In my case, I put my corset on, I have a tall wig and I feel like a queen!”
With Elle and her co-star Nicholas Hoult – who was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series – the only cast members able to attend the ceremony because of filming commitments, the pair planned to let their hair down for the evening.
Elle said: “We said we would party for all of them.”

Lily James sewn into Emmy Awards dress

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily James had to be sewn into her Emmy Awards dress.
The 33-year-old actress walked the red carpet at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday (12.09.22) in a close-fitting bronze metal mesh custom Versace dress and she admitted she felt “so lucky” to be wearing the gown.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I am sewn into it at the back and it’s corseted.
“They designed it for me. The people that made this dress are phenomenal… We had so many fittings perfecting it and I’m so lucky.”
Lily was nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie category for her portrayal of Pamela Anderson in ‘Pam and Tommy’ and she admitted she and her stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray “went deep in researching early 2000 silhouettes for the gown” to pay tribute to the ‘Baywatch’ actress’ hey day.
She told People magazine: “It’s Versace and it’s just heaven. It was designed for me and I was kind of a part of the colour choices and building it together so it’s just unreal. I’m obsessed with every tiny bit of it.”
Lily also admitted she kept one of her costumes from ‘Pam and Tommy’ and has been wearing it out and about.
She said: “I actually wore a pink chainmail outfit, kind of like knee skirt and top for a club scene and she let me keep it and I’ve worn it already a few times.”
And the actress opened up about the “intense” transformation she went through to play the ‘Barb Wire’ star in the drama series.
She said: “Honestly it would blow your mind. The costume team led by Kameron Lennox and the hair and makeup and the prosthetics, they are true artists and every detail was analysed and torn apart and I love that, I’m a perfectionist, I really all of that sculpting and building the outside, inside everything!
“But yeah there was various different red pieces, different like bum size or like on the thigh… it was pretty intense.”

Ashley Graham reflects on her ‘interesting’ feeding journey

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Graham’s experience of feeding her twins has been “interesting”.
The 34-year-old model has eight-month-old twins Malachi and Roman with husband Justin Ervin, and Ashley – who stars in a new campaign for Bobbie, a female-founded infant formula – has opened up about her personal experience of feeding her kids.
The brunette beauty – who also has Isaac, two, with Justin – shared: “I thought that I would easily be able to breastfeed without having to think twice about it. I knew that there was going to be a little bit of actual juggling that would have to be implemented because everybody and their mother told me that if I didn’t feed the twins at the same time, I was never going to have any time for myself.
“And sure enough, that’s exactly what happened. I had to figure out how to do it at the same time.”
Ashley admitted that tandem breastfeeding has proven to be a huge challenge for her.
She told PEOPLE: “The first week was so hard. It was trying to figure out how to do it. They would latch. They would unlatch. I couldn’t figure out the positioning.”
However, Ashley managed to overcome her difficulties after having some “internal conversations”.
She said: “I remember telling myself, ‘It’s okay if you have to use formula. Don’t worry. You’re not failing as a parent.'”
Ashley ultimately decided to that combo feeding was the best choice for her. But the catwalk star also feels that parents needn’t “pick one side or the other”.
She explained: “I really want this campaign to show that you don’t. You just have to pick what’s best for you.
“I joined forces with Bobbie to evolve in this conversation and shake the stigma around how we are feeding our babies. There’s no way no one way is better than the other.”

Lily James becomes a global ambassador for the Natural Diamond Council

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily James has become a global ambassador for the Natural Diamond Council.
The 33-year-old actress has joined forces with the Natural Diamond Council – which seeks to advance the integrity of the modern diamond jewellery industry – and Lily features in the organisation’s brand-new campaign.
The movie star – who was born in Esher in England – said: “Shooting the campaign in my home country was so special for me.
“Personally, I get sentimental over family heirlooms and tokens that have been passed down. I love the element of closeness that wearing a piece of diamond jewellery brings forward. I’m excited to represent this familiar feeling for so many in my new role as NDC’s Global Ambassador.”
Lily plays a starring role in a new 45-second campaign video, which references some of her most well-known on-screen roles.
David Kellie, the chief executive officer of Natural Diamond Council, is thrilled to be working with Lily, who received an Emmy nomination for her performance in ‘Pam and Tommy’.
He said: “Lily James is the modern epitome of natural diamonds.
“With her recent Emmy nomination, Lily has been recognised as one of the leading actors in the world. The talent, versatility and authenticity she brings to the table are the perfect attributes to represent natural diamonds. We are thrilled to have her join us as we build upon the success of another record-breaking year for natural diamond jewellery.”
The campaign was directed by Manu Cossu and aims to personify the themes of “self-love and individuality”.
Kristina Buckley Kayel, the managing director of the Natural Diamond Council, said: “Women self-purchasing natural diamond jewellery continues to be a dominant growth driver for the sector.
“Women today play many roles in life, and a natural diamond jewellery purchase is a way to express reward, self-love and individuality, which we aim to personify through our campaign film. The diamond jewellery is a constant reminder of her deservingness no matter what she has going on.”
