Miranda Kerr: Ageing is inevitable

OHMYGOSSIP — Miranda Kerr has accepted ageing is inevitable as she approaches her 40th birthday.
The Australian beauty rose to prominence as a Victoria’s Secret angel in 2007 and the coveted title enabled her to become one of the most famous faces in fashion and beauty.
Now, the 39-year-old star embraces the natural process saying ageing is inevitable and shares her skincare routine for maintaining that youthful visage, as her philosophy has always been “healthy skin is the most beautiful skin.”
Miranda told Popsugar: “Ageing is inevitable, but we can do things to really help our skin be the best it possibly can be.”
Outside of modelling, Miranda is the founder and CEO of organic skincare brand, KORA Organics and admitted that she has always felt as if “health is wealth” and realised when, as a teenager, her mother was diagnosed with a tumour that there is “so much more” individuals could be doing for their own benefit.

The eccentric model has been known for her bizarre wellness routines including leech facials and crystal baths.
Miranda previously told wellness founder Gwyneth Paltrow at her GOOP debut summit about her love for leech facials.
She said: “I kept the leeches, they’re in my koi pond. You’re not allowed to reuse them and if you don’t take them home then she kills them and I didn’t like that idea.”
In response, Gwyneth said: “That’s bats*** crazy!”

Elle Fanning: I was obsessed with my pregnant body on The Great

OHMYGOSSIP — Elle Fanning loved seeing how her body would look pregnant when she filmed her scenes in ‘The Great’.
The 25-year-old actress stars in the title role of ‘Catherine The Great’ in Hulu’s satirical comedy series and admitted that it was “crazy” playing a pregnant royal in the latest series but enjoyed seeing how she’d look if she was in a trimester.
She told Harper’s Bazaar: “I was obsessed with it. I had a bespoke bump with boobs moulded onto me that went all the way up to my neck. The costume team told me that this is pretty accurately what my body will look like when I’m pregnant… which did feel quite crazy.”
Adding: “I loved the way it looked. It made me want to do it, to be pregnant.”
Meanwhile, Elle admitted that she initially felt out of her depth being thrown into a comic role at first but has now embraced it.
She said: “I hadn’t really done much [comedy], and was very scared at the start.
“But I’m not embarrassed any more: you just have to try, no matter how outrageous something is.
“It’s an extremely specific style that takes a while to get used to.
“We tread a very thin tightrope between tragedy and laughs.”
Elle has been acting since the age of three but explained that because was able to play Catherine throughout her “formative” years, she was able to grow up alongside her.
She said: “I’ve been playing Catherine in such formative years of my life. I’ve grown as a woman alongside her. These days, I feel like my voice matters. m
“For a while, I’d be like, ‘Oh well, I’m young, people don’t necessarily want to listen to me, they probably know more anyway.’ But there comes a point when you register that you’ve been doing this for 20 years. I may not always have the answer, but I’ve realised that sometimes you do have to have a little bit of that Catherine ego and say, ‘Listen to me!'”

Janice Dickinson: I support Madonna’s drastic looks

OHMYGOSSIP — Janice Dickinson supports Madonna’s decision to “keep transforming” her look in her 60s.
The 64-year-old pop icon has been pushing the boundaries since the start of her career in the 1980s and now that she refuses to shy away from racy looks in her latter years, former supermodel Janice, 68, has admitted she will “always support” her decision to do so.
Speaking to Queerty, she said: “She just keeps transforming herself. Pushing for new horizons being a director, being a photographer, being an author, being a singer, being a dancer.
I have met her and I photographed her. She’s gorgeous. I don’t know what’s going on with her look these days. She looks completely different. But to each his own. I will always support her.”
Meanwhile, Janice went on to comment on her infamous feud with fellow ‘America’s Next Top Model’ judge Tyra Banks, after she was fired from the programme in 2008.
She said: “You know, she’s done a lot of harm for kids. The criticisms could cut deep, right? Like, she didn’t cut it. She didn’t come in and see the nerves after she made the criticizing remarks. So the girls are all shattered from the day of like, ‘Oh my god, I’m never gonna make it. And so if I keep walking the way I’m walking’, or you name it, and I heard it in my ear on the microphone. I was asked to be the Simon Cowell on that show and I did it. I was like the negative version of Miss Sweet Susie Cakes, Tyra Banks.
Adding: “I was in the modeling world a lot longer than she was and I did a lot more important jobs like working with Horst, Terrell, Avedon, Penn, Scavullo, all these guys way before she did. …And you know, I’d sit next to her. You know, when there was an inconvenient moment, I’d say, ‘Shut up, girl. I did Vogue. You did Elle’.”

Rihanna’s makeup artist reveals inspiration behind Super Bowl look

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna’s makeup artist has spilled her beauty secrets behind the iconic Super Bowl look.
When the R’n’B superstar stepped out on stage for the first time in nearly seven years, it was a performance to remember.
Her spectacular Super Bowl halftime show on February 12, broke the record for most-watched performance in Super Bowl’s history, raking up 118.7 million views.
All eyes were on Rihanna, who literally stole the show, as she stepped out in an all red ensemble. The ‘We Found Love’ singer was on fire like a phoenix who rose from the ashes.
It was during this performance that Rihanna chose to announce she was expecting her second child with rapper boyfriend ASAP Rocky.
But singing and baby news aside, the boundary pushing star made headlines after making a statement in the scarlet jumpsuit and crimson pout.
Global Fenty Beauty makeup artist and Rihanna’s long-time friend Priscilla Ono was responsible for the beauty look, and has now divulged the secrets behind her inspiration.
She told Pure Wow: “I definitely want to do something very iconic. You’re going to see a lot of things that I’ve been inspired by growing up in LA and my Mexican background. [The Super Bowl halftime show] is legendary, so I want to make sure the makeup aligns with it. It has to be classic and something we can look back at any point in time.”
A bold red lip always makes a statement and that it did when Rihanna took centre stage. The legendary makeup look was complete with iridescent white liner along her lash line.
She added: “I’ve really been into white eyeshadow these past couple of months and I feel like it’s going to be a big trend this year. It’s something I saw a lot growing up. It was always white frosted eyeshadow with black eyeliner.”

Cindy Crawford: It’s important to live in the present moment

OHMYGOSSIP — Cindy Crawford urges people to “stay present” and explains how to be more mindful.
The 57-year-old supermodel is one of the most iconic faces in fashion of all time, who took the fashion world by storm during the 1980s and 1990s.
As one of the original ‘supers’ Cindy has changed up the game with her big hair and distinctive beauty mark. Her bodacious body stood out against the heroic chic look setting a new trend in high fashion modelling.
Cindy was an innovator in fashion after she changed the perception of the blonde haired blue eyed American beauty to a sultry brunette with brains. It landed Cindy many lucrative contracts throughout her career.
But despite her work in fashion, which has a stereotype for being shallow and superficial, Cindy has remained humble and grounded and relayed the importance of living in the present moment to her children.
Cindy – who shares son Presley Gerber, 23, and daughter Kaia Gerber, 21, with her husband Rande Gerber – is proud of how her children have turned out and urged the importance of being present when raising kids.
She told People: “If I was buried in my phone when I was getting my makeup done, I might have missed a chance to really make a new friend or connect with someone, feel more part of the team as opposed to just like sitting in a chair and letting someone do my makeup.
“It’s like when you’re present, you’re actually part of the process in a bigger way … just try to be in the moment — when you’re with people, be with people.”
Following in her mums footsteps, model daughter Kaia likes to give back by donating used clothes as hand me downs.
Cindy added: “I have these bins [in the garage] with like [names] of the different people that I share my hand-me-downs with. And I actually was just doing it today because Kaia sent over a bunch of her stuff, I was like, ‘Oh, her cousins would like this.'”

‘My hair fell out!’: Emilia Clarke’s bleaching disaster

OHMYGOSSIP — Emilia Clarke will never bleach her hair again after her hair fell out.
The ‘Game of Thrones’ star has luscious brunette locks thanks to her “fastidious” haircare routine, but once suffered hair loss after dying her hair.
Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar UK, she said: “Bleaching was the dumbest thing I’ve ever done in my life. I will never ever do it again! My hair fell out – I was not happy – I did all the masks but nothing worked so I had to cut it all off. Now, I’m fastidious with taking care of my hair. I use specific hair towels, I’ve just discovered this volumising product from R+Co, which is foamy. I make sure to use silk hair ties and I get regular trims – I’ll just get them to do it whenever I’m at a photoshoot.”
The 36-year-old actress also revealed that she will road test a new makeup product by wearing it to the supermarket.
She explained: “It’s going to sound really mad, but when I don’t think I can pull off an eyeshadow or a lipstick, I’ll do a little road test in Sainsbury’s. Pick a day where you’re not doing too much, try on the lipstick and see how you feel walking down the street. Ask: ‘Are people looking at me like I’m crazy? Do I feel good?’ Then when you wear it to your event or party, it’s not completely new to you. I did it recently with a bright coral lipstick and it’s now my new favourite lip colour. It has allowed me to be bolder with other colours.”

Maisie Williams: My style is aligned with myself on the inside

OHMYGOSSIP — Maisie Williams says her style is much “more flexible” these days as it’s “aligned with” how she is “on the inside”.
The ‘Game of Thrones’ star is not afraid to switch up her style and try new trends.
Speaking to ELLE UK, she explained: “My style is so much more expressive and aligned with myself on the inside. But that’s also because it’s more flexible and I don’t mind doing different styles all the time.”
The 25-year-old actress also discussed the issue of ageing and the “hysteria” surrounding women getting older and insisted being youthful comes from within.
She said: “It’s easy to get sucked in and question whether the quest for youth is one that I should be starting sooner rather than later, and whether that means facial peels, a special mask, some crazy new ingredient, or whatever.
“I think that it’s hard to avoid that kind of hysteria.
“I think the most important quest is always the one searching within. To find a place within yourself that you love and that you’re deeply proud of, and that you can shine through, I believe that’s what will make you seem young forever, not your skin.”
Meanwhile, Maisie previously vowed to help more brands be sustainable while working with high street retailer H+M.
The climate activist admitted there are some firms she refuses to work with because of their negative environmental impact, but she thinks it has a bigger effect if she introduces new projects to a company rather than only agreeing to team up with firms that already share her values.
Speaking to Jessie Ware on her ‘Table Manners’ podcast, she said: “There are some brands that I won’t work with but I also feel like what I kind of feel like makes more of an impact is to work with a brand that isn’t necessarily the most sustainable and find a project where they can be sustainable.
“So I’m doing a thing with a brand called Coperni and they aren’t necessarily known to be a sustainable brand, they’re a pretty boutique brand so it’s not mass-produced and everything that they do is really high quality but it’s not necessarily sustainable.
“So we’re working together on their first ever completely sustainable handbag and I think that makes more of an impact than just working with a completely eco, entirely ocean, because it becomes a bit of an echo chamber where the only people who know about that are the people who want to live their life that way and it doesn’t ever really reach anyone who’s not doing that already.
“So although I say there are brands that do need to do more, I kind of hope that maybe I could work with those brands and maybe we could do something that is different.”

Christina Aguilera reveals how she avoids a ‘frozen face’

OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Aguilera never wants to look like she has a “frozen face”.
The pop idol swears by anti-wrinkle injection Xeomin for improving her frown lines but she will always opt for a more natural look.
Speaking to PEOPLE, she said: “I’m always interested in finding new products that excite me and make me feel my best.”
She continued: “Xeomin felt like the safest way to go because it doesn’t have any extra ingredients. It’s reassurance that no matter how tired I may be, I have backup.”
The ‘Beautiful’ hitmaker insists expression is important as a pop star.
The singer added: “We like expression, especially in my line of work.
“I don’t want to have a frozen face. Whether it’s being on-camera or performing onstage, I have to stay authentic to my emotion.”
The chart-topping star has always been “a pretty open book” about her appearance and her insecurities.
Asked about her attitude towards cosmetic procedures, Christina told Allure magazine: “I think it’s great to share and to be honest and open about what you’re doing – in your comfort zone, of course. I’ve always been a pretty open book about embracing my body, my looks, and things like that.
“But I’m a pretty reserved person when it comes to a lot of things. I think to each their own, and I think we [should] all do what’s right for us, so I don’t believe in judgement where that’s concerned whatsoever.”

Maya Jama has monthly radiofrequency facials

OHMYGOSSIP — Maya Jama has monthly radiofrequency facials to benefit her skin.
The 28-year-old TV presenter explained that whilst her skincare routine doesn’t consist of “a lot” of products, she does see renowned London-based aesthetician Shane Cooper once a month and also “swears” by her on MIJ masks range.
She told Vogue: “I don’t use loads of products. I do get facials – I see Shane Cooper once a month and he uses HydraFacial, LED light therapy and this collagen-boosting warm device [radiofrequency]. I also have my own Mij Masks and I swear by them. I use one two or three times a week, depending how I feel, and I use my eye masks every morning on my way to work. It just gives you a bit of extra hydration, and I think make-up sits better when you’ve had them on.
“When it comes to cream, I’m using CeraVe, which is so basic and normal but it has been doing wonders for my skin. I think sometimes simpler products help. As a night serum, I also douse myself in Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate before bed. ”
Meanwhile, the ‘Love Island’ host was then asked about her “most-used” make-up product and revealed that she uses eyeliner in an attempt to look “a little bit glamourous” if she does not have an assistant by her side.
She said: “Probably eyeliner, because if I don’t have my make-up artist or anyone helping me out, that’s my go-to thing to make me look a little bit glamorous. It’s the only thing that I always do myself – no matter who does my make-up, I’ll always do my eyeliner. I used to spend hours trying to get the perfect wing in school at lunch break with my friends in the toilets, and it’s the only thing I’ve managed to keep up consistently – it’s easier when you do it yourself and know what kind of wing you like. I use Rimmel’s Scandaleyes, which is perfect.”

‘I knew girls who STARVED themselves!’ Robyn Lawley ‘furious’ about Victoria’s Secret show revival

OHMYGOSSIP — Robyn Lawley was “just furious” when she heard that Victoria’s Secret fashion show was making a comeback.
The lingerie brand’s chief financial officer Timothy Johnson revealed in March that a “new version” of the show will arrive later in 2023 after it went on hiatus in 2018 but with a more diverse range of body sizes this time round and the 33-year-old supermodel “rolled her eyes” when she heard the news as she questioned why that was never the case to begin with.
She told Stellar magazine: “I rolled my eyes massively. I thought, ‘Why didn’t they include curve [models] in the 2018 show?’ It was like they reverted to skinnier [models]. I was just furious. I knew girls who were going through [castings for the show], personal friends who were starving themselves; I knew the situation on an inside level. It was making me more angry. They weren’t fit and healthy, they were starving. [The show is] making this pedestal for teenage girls. I want [the modelling industry] to be more size diverse and age diverse … The day will come, I hope. My body size is still a challenge in this industry.”
When the show was cancelled after the 2018 event, the former Sports Illustrated cover star – who has eight-year-old daughter Ripley with her partner Everest Schmidt – started a campaign encouraging women to boycott the brand for the sake of future generations.
She wrote on Instagram at the time: “Victoria Secret have dominated the space for almost 30 years by telling women there is only one kind of body beautiful. – you can read more in the link of my bio why it’s so important to encourage diversity for our future daughters sake. Until Victoria’s Secret commits to representing ALL women on stage, I am calling for a complete boycott of this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. It’s time Victoria’s Secret recognized the buying power and influence of women of ALL ages, shapes, sizes, and ethnicities.”(sic)

Paulina Porizkova: I used to take my body for granted!

OHMYGOSSIP — Paulina Porizkova used to take her body “for granted.”
The 57-year-old supermodel is still keen to stay in shape even though it takes “much more time and effort” but explained that it is all worth it because it allows her to keep moving through the “beauty of the world.”
She told SheKnows: “Staying in shape takes much more time and effort, but it allows me to fully inhabit this shell I was given at birth, something I took for granted most of my life. But not anymore. Now it’s a deliberate decision to allow it to work as best as it can, being grateful for its ability to move me through the world to keep harvesting the beauty of it all. Pain included.”
Meanwhile, the former ‘America’s Next Top Model’ judge was married to singer Ric Ocasek from 1989 until his death in 2019 and has children Jonathan, 29, and 24-year-old Oliver with him but faced financial hardship and had to sell her house when she learned she had been left out of his will.
Paulina has now written her memoir ‘No Filter’ and admitted she wished she could have just told of her struggles on Instagram but knew she had to “set boundaries” on her revelations because it could have affected the potential of a house sale.
She added: “It was such a ridiculous situation to be in. In fact, all that kept going through my brain at that time was, ‘I need to write a scripted TV series about a woman who this happens to and she has a fabulous, beautiful house, but she has zero money to pay for it. And she can’t tell anybody that she has zero money to pay for it because then she won’t be able to sell it at its proper price. So she’s trying to act rich, but she really can’t afford to do it.’ Like, I had the most nonsensical and useless ideas! I had to set boundaries on what I would reveal. I wish I could have just given it up on Instagram and [said], ‘I’m so f***** right now. Like, I don’t have money for groceries, and my friends are buying all the food, and I’m freaking out about trying to sell my house.’ But that would have been sawing off my legs at the knee. It would have made me feel better, but it would have screwed me.
“I lost quite a good amount of money having to sell it at that point.”

Tessa Thompson: I use buttermilk and turmeric to get rid of my panda eyes

OHMYGOSSIP — Tessa Thompson mixes a concoction of buttermilk and turmeric to get rid of her under-eye circles.
The 39-year-old actress is one of the hottest stars in Hollywood and has once again earned critical acclaim due to her performance in ‘Rocky’ spin-off ‘Creed III’.
Whilst she remains dauntless in front of the camera, being in the public eye means having to abide by the pressures of looking picture perfect 24/7.
Chronic under-eye circles can be an insecurity for some but not for Tessa as she’s found a unique way to keep those panda eyes at bay.
Speaking to Who What Wear, Tessa revealed her unconventional beauty hack to zap those dark circles.
She said: “This is a hack I discovered that I really like, but it requires time and, in some cases, a trip to the market, but it’s really great.
“I have discoloration under my eyes. It’s just something that, regardless of how much I sleep, exists, but certainly, if I’m really not well-slept, my eyes can get quite dark under there.
“If I have the time and I can get to a market, I just take pure buttermilk (you can also do it with goat’s milk yogurt) or any kind of nice yogurt and just mix it with turmeric. Then, you take a little paintbrush or makeup brush (because the turmeric can stain your fingers), and you just apply it under your eyes and leave it on for like 15 minutes.”
She added: “Then you have to wash your face pretty vigorously underneath there, obviously being careful because it’s a sensitive area. But it really helps with under-eye circles. I have found it very helpful when I have the time.”
The Armani beauty ambassador admits she likes to keep things simple with her makeup routine opting for the “no-makeup makeup look.”
She said: “I like just a little bit of foundation. Sometimes, I’ll even mix it with my moisturizer, serum, or a little bit of oil. I like to use corrector under my eyes, so a little bit of orange, then a little bit of concealer, and then not that much powder—maybe just in the middle of my face. Then I use some rose water, and off I go.”

Toni Collette: Meditation is like interfacing with the most pure aspect of life

OHMYGOSSIP — Toni Collette loves to meditate.
The Australian actress, best known for staring in films like 1999’s thriller ‘The Sixth Sense’ and 2006’s comedy ‘Little Miss Sunshine’, has been praised for her metamorphic performances in a wide range of roles.
Whilst Toni is always on the move and no plans to slow down from her decades-long career anytime soon – after recently going on a worldwide press tour for her upcoming TV show ‘The Power’ – she understands the importance of self-care.
Speaking to Glamour, she said: “I love to meditate. I used to be like, ‘Ugh, I should meditate,’ but now I look forward to it. It’s a chance to merge with everything. It’s like interfacing with the most beautiful, pure aspect of life. I also walk, I bike ride, I cuddle my kids, I spend time in nature. Sleep. Sleep is so important.”
Colette – who pursued acting in her 20s – landed her big break in 1994’s comedy drama ‘Muriel’s Wedding’, which earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination as well as the AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
But despite the ongoing success, Collette suffered from imposter syndrome. If she was to go back and do it all again she would address her younger self by reiterating the importance of self-belief.
She added: “Just enjoy it all. It’s funny how you just feel so unsure of yourself at that age, and I was getting so many opportunities and experiences, and I think if I had felt a little more self-assured and comfortable with myself, and just focused on the joy, it would have been… more fun. It was fun anyway, trust me, I had a lot fun! But – and I sound like Ferris Bueller here – life moves pretty fast. You’ve really got to savour it.”

Dove Cameron is impressed by ‘otherworldly’ fashion designers

OHMYGOSSIP — Dove Cameron says the best fashion designers are comparable to the great “composers” because they are “otherworldly geniuses”.
The 27-year-old actress-and-singer has teamed up with designer Wes Gordon for the spring/summer 2023 Carolina Herrera collection and she was blown away by his “magical” talent.
Speaking to ELLE.com, Dove – who got close to Wes after he invited her to be his plus one at the 2021 CDFAs – said: “It’s such a dream when you get to be friends with an iconic designer who’s the head of an iconic fashion house.
“I look at fashion designers and photographers the same way I look at composers. [They’re] people who do things that are so magical and otherworldly. They’re geniuses. I grill [Gordon] every time I’m with him. I’m like, ‘Hi! Let me dive into your brain, thank you!’”
Dove – who shot to fame playing the two titular characters in Disney Channel series ‘Liv and Maddie’ – was snapped by photographer Elizaveta Porodina for the campaign and, on set, the ‘Good Mourning’ star was encouraged to jump, laugh and dance in a “fantasyland” setting.
She explained: “When you step into a role like this on set, you just feel like you’re living in this fantasyland where anything is possible.
“Elizaveta and her vision were so otherworldly, I couldn’t help but feel so free to experiment. I felt so beautiful.”
“To get those shots, I was jumping, and spinning, and dancing, and laughing. I feel like there’s so much levity, strength, femininity, and boldness to Wes’ designs, and I really wanted to attempt to bring that to the shoot. Every garment was taking on a different story, and in that story, I think it’s only natural to feel the character living those moments.”

Slovakian viral model Veronika Rajek is on a manhunt for a sporty ‘gentleman’ to share her life with

OHMYGOSSIP — Slovakian model Veronika Rajek has described her ideal man – insisting her Mr. Right must be “tall, funny, honest and above all, a gentleman”.
The 26-year-old blonde beauty – who has amassed 4.4 million followers on Instagram thanks to her red hot bikini photos and has worked with labels such as Dolce and Gabbana, Vera Wang and Moschino – is looking for a guy to share her life with and that lucky individual will need to prove to her that he has manners and will treat her life a lady.
In an interview with Spanish sports newspaper, Veronika said: “He must be tall, and above all, a gentleman.
“I am looking for men to be honest and to be funny. You don’t impress me with cars, I don’t care if you have a BMW or a Mercedes… it just needs four wheels and that’s it. I’m not bothered by expensive clothes either.
“For me, the most important thing is behaviour because I think in this era there are not many gentlemen: men don’t hold the door for you, men don’t help you sit down in a restaurant… these are the tiny details that make the difference.”
Rajek – who is 5ft 11in – does need a tall man because she doesn’t want to tower over her significant other when she is walking in high heels, and she would prefer it if the guy played sports.
She added: “Visually speaking, men need to be tall – ideally more than 190cm [6ft 2in] because I am very tall and if I wear high heels, I am even taller.
“It’s not that I don’t like shorter men, the issue is that they start to feel insecure around me and I don’t want to make men insecure. I need a manly man. I prefer an athletic man, it’s important that you do sports three or four times a week. If you don’t have this similarity with me, then that’s not good.”
“I don’t care about hair or eye colour. The most important is having that connection, that click with someone.
“Of course, ultimately women are looking for a man who will be a good partner and father. The age when I cared about looks is gone. Men must be stable and mentally stable.”
Veronika went viral back in December when she attended an NFL game between her favourite team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints.
The curvaceous babe uploaded a post of herself at the Raymond James Stadium, in Tampa, to her Instagram account which showed her wearing quarterback Tom Brady’s No. 12 Buccaneers jersey whilst declaring her love for the legendary 45-year-old football player, who recently divorced his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen.
Her post read: “I saw the LEGEND and if somebody asks me again if I love Brady, yes I love him, and show me somebody who doesn’t. Even his haters love him … @tombrady thank you for an amazing show #GOATFOREVER (sic)”
