Hailey Bieber is trying to ’embrace’ her skin issues

OHMYGOSSIP — Hailey Bieber is trying to “embrace” her skin problems.
The 26-year-old model – who is married to pop star Justin Bieber – has learned to accept that her skin may act up from time to time and now keeps things “simple” with her skincare after ending up doing “more harm than good” when she has tried to combat the issues with a quick fix.
She told Harper’s Bazaar: “As I’ve gotten older, I’ve tried to embrace it as it comes, because it happens to everybody and it’s normal. Us females deal with a lot of things that are out of our control, like hormones, so just I try to listen to my skin. If it feels irritated or is breaking out more, I try to scale back and keep my routine simple. So often, I try to get rid of a pimple quickly and end up doing more harm than good. Now, I let a pimple run its course and am gentle with it. I do like spot treatments on thicker pimples.”
Hailey launched the skincare line Rhode in 2022 and admitted that in such a short space of time, she has learned “so much” and wants the brand to feel like a “community” between herself and her consumers as she teased what is in store for her company.
She said: “I take everything really to heart because it’s my baby. Whenever there is feedback that we want to implement, I want it to happen overnight, but that’s not possible. As the brand grows and evolves, people will start to see the feedback incorporated. This is a community brand, and I want it to feel that way. We are going to get into some color stuff soon. We think of skin essentials, and for me, that applies to color and sun care too. We are going to tackle all of these categories over time. Our first dip in the makeup water is going to be in the fall, and I’m very excited.”

The 24-year-old rapper told Allure magazine: “I’m not a super huge makeup girl, but I like to put some shine or glitter around my eyes. I can’t think of a specific product right now, but that’s my go-to. It’s more of a smear with the finger, like a ‘Euphoria’ vibe. [I like] a glossy finish over the face, accentuating the lips.”
Lil Nas – whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill -revealed that his “favourite feature” is his pout so loves to sport the YSL Beauty Candy Glaze Gloss.
He said: “My favorite feature of my face is probably definitely my lips. They were the parts of my face that I hated the most growing up. And as I grew up into my teen years, I learned more and more to love them and how great it is to have them. I like to keep a shine on my lips. I like to keep them moisturized. Lately, I’ve been trying out the [YSL Beauty] Candy Glaze Lip Gloss.”
The Grammy Award winner spilled about he felt “at the absolute peak” of his confidence at the moment.
He said: “Absolutely. For one, I feel like I am at the absolute peak of my self love right now, in terms of loving how I am, accepting how I look, and also just seeing the beauty in myself. Growing up, I didn’t see many people like me being considered beautiful or handsome and whatnot, and able to be in certain spaces and places that I am now. I feel like being here has changed that for me. And hopefully, it’s changing it for a lot of young people that are watching me.”

ASICS teams up with Charly Cox and Auntie Flo on new track to inspire people to exercise

OHMYGOSSIP — ASICS has teamed up with Charly Cox and Auntie Flo to get people moving on World Running Day.
The Japanese sportswear brand has collaborated with the poet and music producer on a new track to inspire more people to exercise and uplift the nation, by experiencing the mental health benefits of movement.
According to research carried out by the brand, the nation’s mental wellbeing is in decline, with Brits’ State of Mind Score falling to 62 out of 100.
It has been proven that exercise improves mood, with just 15 minutes of movement having a positive impact. However, more than half of Brits admit doing less physical activity than the NHS minimum physical activity guidelines, with four in five needing some kind of motivation to help get them started.
In line with Global Running Day on Wednesday (07.06.23), ASICS, in partnership with Charly and Flo, have taken action by creating a new poem-based track titled ‘Nothing Feels Better’, to inspire people to get up whilst raising money for charity as 82% require music for motivation.
A £5 donation will be raised for the mental health charity each time the poem is streamed on Spotify.
Talking about the collaboration, Charly said: “Mental illness can be debilitating. Gentle movement has helped stave off some of my worst episodes and keeps me mentally and physically in a much better place. Teaming up with ASICS to write this poem has been not only a career highlight but some of the most important and difficult messaging I could try and convey. I really hope this track inspires people to move and find a mental uplift. When life feels like a marathon what’s the point in sprinting? Find pride and joy in moving to feel better not to be better.”
Producer Brian d’Souza, AKA Auntie Flo, founder of Swell Studio, added: “The challenge in this day and age is trying to get people outdoors and moving. Exercise is so important for not only our physical health, but our mental health too, so it’s been great to work with ASICS and Charly to create something that can actually inspire people to get out there. Putting the words to music with a frequency specifically designed to boost endorphins and chord progressions to uplift listeners, was a great challenge – I can’t wait to hear what people think of it.”
