Meghan Markle set to become Duchess of Dior

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan, Duchess of Sussex is reportedly set to sign a lucrative sponsorship deal with Dior.
The 41-year-old former actress – who was previously known as Meghan Markle – is in talks with the French fashion house in a deal worth up to $20 million over three years.
Her new agent Ari Emanuel – the chief of talent agency William Morris Endeavor (WME) – is working on rebranding Meghan as a fashion influencer following her and her husband Prince Harry losing their $25 million Spotify deal last week.
A Beverly Hills socialite told the Mail On Sunday newspaper: “Meghan is all anyone is talking about.
“There have been rumours for weeks that she’s about to sign a deal with Dior which has put the gossip mill into overdrive.”
An insider at WME added: “We knew the Spotify announcement was coming.
“It might be a shock to everyone else but we’ve been working on the rebranding of Meghan for weeks.
“Ari is the best in the business when it comes to corporate deals and making money.
“He’s excited to be representing Meghan and has thrown all his energy into it. The offers have been pouring in, including from other podcast platforms.”
If the deal comes off, Meghan will be joining an extensive list of A-listers who have represented Dior, including Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence and Johnny Depp.
As a devoted fan of Dior, Meghan has been spotted in a number of ensembles over the years.
Last year, the Duchess turned up head-to-toe in an outfit from the brand for the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.

King Charles’ horsehair used to create Little Black Dress

OHMYGOSSIP — Climate activists design ‘Little Black Dress’ using King Charles III’s horsehair and stinging nettles.
Eco friendly fashion duo Vin and Omi created the unique frock using horsehair and nettles sourced from the King’s private Highgrove estate in Gloucestershire by the suggestion of the King himself.
The unique garment, which aims to present more sustainable solutions in fashion, will go on display in the Beyond the Little Black Dress exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh next month.
According to Omi, the street style LBD, emblazoned with the word ‘Resist’, defies the expectations of the original.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Omi said: “The King was very supportive and he granted us more access around the gardens and the materials and it was a great learning process with us and the gardeners at Highgrove on both sides.”
The climate King is a veteran environment campaigner and has championed for climate action since the 1970s. Once mocked for his eccentric views on sustainable and organic farming, is now a significant figure in the fight.
Omi added: “He was sending us bog cotton from the Castle of Mey in Scotland.
“It felt a bit like we were magicians, we could turn anything into anything.
“It’s great – he’s so knowledgeable when it comes to the environment and plants, particularly his garden which he’s so involved in.
“We had to really look at what he doesn’t do – we looked at the nettles and we looked at horsehair – things that were thrown away – we’ve even taken willow.”
But his partner Vin knew when to draw the line after being asked by the head gardener of Sandringham whether they could incorporate the goose faeces on the lawn into their design.
He said: “There is a limit to this collaboration.”

Frankie Bridge may bring back her iconic pixie cut hairstyle

OHMYGOSSIP — Frankie Bridge is considering bringing back her iconic pixie cut.
The 34-year-old star became synonymous with the look during her time in girl band The Saturdays – also comprised of Mollie King, Rochelle Humes, Una Healy and Vanessa White.
The haircut first emerged in the 1950s and was popularised by late actress Audrey Hepburn.
After growing out her hair during the COVID-19 lockdown, Frankie hasn’t ruled out getting it chopped again because the look was “kind of what made me me”.
Speaking to Stylist, she said: “Never say never. When I was in The Saturdays, having really short hair was really easy. The guy who did our hair cut mine every three weeks when it started to grow out. But being a mum, working and not travelling with my hairdresser everywhere now, it just wouldn’t be sustainable. I do see pictures of my pixie cut and sometimes think about how much I loved it, though. It’s kind of what made me me.”
Frankie – who has been open about her mental health struggles after suffering a breakdown in 2011 and is now a mental health advocate – says fashion and beauty play a big part in how she feels inside.
She said: “It’s weird because it can either make you feel worse or feel better. It’s a double-edged sword. I can sometimes feel like I really don’t want to put make-up on or think about what I’m wearing, but on the other hand, I know that getting up, putting on an outfit that you’re comfortable in and makes you feel good, putting on make-up or doing your hair can really make you feel better if that’s what you usually do and how you feel best. And I think, sometimes, before you do feel better, you’ve almost got to fake it until you make it.”

Pharrell Williams: My Louis Vuitton debut is love at first sight

OHMYGOSSIP — Pharrell Williams has described his Louis Vuitton debut as “love at first sight”.
The 50-year-old music star was appointed as the new Men’s Creative Director in February and his first collection is set to be revealed during the Men’s Fashion Week in Paris.
The ‘Happy’ singer recently launched his first campaign as creative director, which features a pregnant Rihanna, and has promised his spring 2024 collection, which will be showcased on Tuesday (20.06.23) night on the Pont Neuf bridge in the French capital, will be a “crazy show”.
Speaking to WWD, he said: “It’s like love at first sight.
“LV is for Louis Vuitton, but it’s also for lovers, you know: lovers of the moment, lovers of detail, lovers of this time and people who want to absolutely squeeze the best out of life, down to the last drop.”
The 13-time Grammy winner is still in disbelief at being chosen as the first global music star to take the reigns at the luxury fashion house.
Pharrell was unexpectedly appointed after the death of his predecessor Virgil Abloh – who passed away from cancer in November 2021.
He said: “Every day, I gotta to pinch myself because it’s an appointment, and I was chosen.
“What would you do? Right? Like, you know, you get to come in here with the world’s greatest house; dare I say, unlimited resources. I hardly ever hear ‘no,’ and when I do, it’s always for a real constructive reason, and then I’m given an opportunity to do something even bigger, even greater. This has been nothing but a gift.”
Louis Vuitton chairman and chief executive officer Pietro Beccari said on the most highly anticipated show of the year: “Pharrell is unveiling the collection piece by piece, because it is already 20 days that he wears [items from] the show.
He’s impatient and I said, ‘He’s the client, right? So that’s it.’”

Ncuti Gatwa’s style inspired by Beyonce

OHMYGOSSIP — Ncuti Gatwa’s style is inspired by Beyonce.
The ‘Sex Education’ actor is known for pushing the boundaries on the red carpet and when it comes to his love of “elegant glamour with a hint of kink”, he admitted he gives his stylist some “wild” suggestions.
He told Britain’s Vogue magazine: “I’d say my personal style is elegant glamour with a hint of kink. I’ll send my stylist, Felicity Kay, the wildest briefs. Sometimes it’s just a screenshot of Beyoncé’s ‘Alien Superstar’ or I’ll say, ‘I want to feel like Tom of Finland meets couture.’ She’s like, ‘Okay!’”
And Ncuti is pleased ‘Doctor Who’ producers want to experiment with his 15th Time Lord’s wardrobe, despite him making some “traditional” suggestions for his character’s outfits.
He recalled: “Months after getting the role, I went to see the producers and get the scripts, and they asked me my thoughts on the show’s costumes.
“I was talking about Ralph Lauren’s collaboration with Morehouse and Spelman Colleges, two historically Black colleges, which is really preppy. They were like, ‘Cool, but it’s quite traditional.’
“I guess I was thinking about catering to the audience that already watches ‘Doctor Who’, but they’re like, ‘Let’s push it forward.’ They’re really keen on progress, and it doesn’t always feel like that in the landscape of British television.”
The 30-year-old star posed naked for Vogue but insisted he wasn’t nervous about the photoshoot – though he was expecting a shocked reaction from his mum.
He said: “I wasn’t nervous. After four years of ‘Sex Education’, it’s just second nature. I just know I’ll be getting a phone call from my mum. I haven’t told her yet. She’ll be like, ‘What on earth are you doing?!’”

Hayley Williams expresses herself through hair

OHMYGOSSIP — Hayley Williams has always expressed her feelings through her hair.
The Paramore singer’s response to emotional events in her life has always been to change the colour or style of her locks so she can “show the world” something is happening without having to articulate what it is.
She told People magazine: “We go to something to latch onto to help us feel like we have some control.
“Hair has always been my something. It’s always been a way for me to reflect and show the world without having to say what I’m going through…
“I asked Brian [O’Connor, hairstylist] to change my hair about eight or nine times in 2014 because I was going through some things, and that’s what we do, you know?”
That year, Hayley coloured her hair twice in one day and also cut it shorter than she’d ever had it before ahead of the band going on tour.
She said:“I loved it. It was the best excuse to cut all my hair off. It ended up being a really good thing.”
The ‘Misery Business’ hitmaker and her hairstylist Brian worked together on their brand, Good Dye Young, which has now launched into Ulta Beauty, and hope their products will allow fans to express themselves in the same way.
Hayley said: “I feel very lucky because it’s not only having a hairstylist — it’s having a friend who wants you to express yourself.
“That’s kind of what we want to be for people in the world when they come and buy a box of our dye. We want you to express yourself; present yourself however you feel and have the freedom to do that.”
Brian added: “It’s crazy to see that we weren’t making some fabricated scenario up in our head when we talked about doing this.
“That there are people who connect to it on an emotional level — like she and I connect to it and with each other — is really cool. It’s more than just hair and hair dye. People have so many emotional stories attached to our hair colours.”

Bella Hadid finds lipstick ’empowering’

OHMYGOSSIP — Bella Hadid finds lipstick empowering.
The 26-year-old model thinks colouring her lips instantly makes her feel “more confident” and she’s thrilled to be fronting a campaign for Charlotte Tilburry’s Airbrush Flawless Lip Blur because she’s “obsessed” with the range and how it makes her feel.
She told Britain’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “What I love about lipstick is that it can instantly make you feel more confident, or more sexy – or more of whatever it is you want to express that day – and that is so empowering.
“I’ve always loved experimenting with lip looks, but the new Airbrush Flawless Lip Blur has quickly become my go-to. I’m obsessed because every colour I try on makes me feel like a different version of myself and I can wear them blurred or bold to get a different finish, so whether it’s an off-duty day or a work day there’s a shade that’s perfect to pull my look together.”
While Bella is “flattered” that so many people cite her as a beauty inspiration, she doesn’t want to take “full credit” for her looks because she herself has so many different influences.
She said: “It’s flattering, of course, but I really can’t take full credit for my looks since I take inspiration from so many different places.
“I’m kind of like a sponge like that, just soaking up everything around me at all times, so my looks are always a culmination of all of the influences I encounter through all walks of my life – on set, on the street, online. I like to switch up my look depending on how I’m feeling.”
And the brunette beauty insisted she has no beauty regrets because her looks always expressed how she felt at that moment in time.
She said: “I really think every look I’ve created reflected how I was feeling in that moment – or how I wanted to express myself in that moment. It’s all part of the journey!”

I need water and sleep! Bella Hadid shares her essentials to stay healthy and beautiful

OHMYGOSSIP — Bella Hadid stays healthy by drinking lots of water and getting her full quota of sleep.
The 26-year-old model needs to always look her best for her modelling work and although she has access to the best beauty products money can buy she will always radiate beauty if she is hydrated and fully rested.
She told Britain’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “I try to drink as much water, and get as much sleep, as I can. We’re on the go so much that it’s hard to eat clean, but I always feel better when I do. I also always make sure I have a Kin [a non-alcoholic beverage] in my hand to keep me feeling balanced and help stabilise my mood, calm my stress and give me that burst of energy I need.”
Bella – whose older sister Gigi Hadid is also a model – says personal wellbeing is also important when it comes to looking your best, as happiness in your life shines though.
She added: “Beauty comes from within, so whenever I feel good on the inside, I think I look good on the outside, too.”
Although fashion is her job, when Bella wants to have fun with her look she loves to experiment with nail-art, which she thinks is one of the most creative beauty trends.
She said: “I love seeing people’s creativity through nail-art. It is such a fun form of self-expression. Because of work, I am usually not able to keep one colour for more than a day. But as of now, and when I am off work, I let my nails breathe and go polish-free.”

I’ll have a dirty martini! Jennifer Aniston’s ‘cheat day’ treat revealed

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Aniston loves a “cheat day” and will sip on a dirty martini cocktail when the mood takes her.
The former ‘Friends’ actress – who played Rachel Green in the beloved sitcom – is committed to a healthy and holistic lifestyle and follows a high-protein, low-carb and low-sugar diet.
Jennifer pairs that with a five days a week workout regime which is cardio intense, whilst she also attends 10-to-20 minute Pvolve classes. Pvolve is a science-led workout method that combines low-impact functional fitness with resistance-based equipment.
However, Aniston will reward herself with cheat days when she wants to enjoy her favourite foods and drinks, and her alcoholic tipple of choice is the martini mix, which is made with gin and vermouth and garnished with an olive or a lemon twist.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: “Jen’s meals are rich in protein with a healthy amount of carbs, and she also indulges in treats and cheat days. If she wants to enjoy a dirty martini or tequila, she’ll splurge. It’s no big deal.”

Kate Moss pays homage to 1997 Diet Coke man in new campaign

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Moss has paid homage to the famous Diet Coke man in a new advert for the soft drink company.
The 49-year-old supermodel is fronting her second campaign for the beverage brand, urging fans to take a moment to ‘Love What You Love’ – spotlighting individuals who embrace a positive attitude to life, by knowing who they are and what they love.
For Season 2, Kate has been given exclusive access to the brand’s archives for inspiration, drawing on the iconic 11:30 Break TV adverts from the ’90s and 2000s as her source of creativity.
In one shot, the British catwalk queen can be seen sipping a Diet Coke whilst standing in front of the London skyline, in a clear nod to the 1997 television spot which saw an office full of women watch in awe as a shirtless, hunky window washer enjoyed a bottle of Diet Coke to cool off during his 11:30 break.
Speaking about the upcoming campaign, Kate said: “Last year was such an incredible experience, so when we collaborated on Season 2, the brand’s archives were an amazing place to start.
“The Diet Coke Breaks are classics, and I wanted to add a fashion twist to these moments. The campaign is very different aesthetically to the ‘90s and 2000s but the narrative is the same. It’s all about a pause to love what you love and indulge yourself in that moment, without taking yourself too seriously. I’m excited to unveil the new campaign soon!”
Sean Kellett – Partnerships Assets Senior Manager Europe at The Coca-Cola Company – added: “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Kate Moss as Creative Director. Last year, we took inspiration from Kate’s unrivalled archives to celebrate our shared love of fashion. In Season 2, we have given Kate access to Diet Coke’s legacy to create something visually stunning and unexpected, with a Diet Coke wink. With Kate’s vision, this summer we will continue to inspire fans to embrace an unapologetic attitude to ‘Love What You Love’.”

I’m fuzzy wuzzy: Meghan Trainor’s battle to keep facial hair at bay

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Trainor was horrified to realise she has a “moustache” when she watched one of her music videos.
The 29-year-old singer bonded with fellow songstress Kelly Clarkson over their “peach fuzz”, but while the ‘Made You Look’ hitmaker makes sure she “shaves” before an important occasion, the 41-year-old talk show host is happy to go au naturel.
Discussing a TikTok video in which she shaves her facial hair, Meghan joked on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’: “Oh, I’m shaving my beard, my peach!”
“I’m fuzzy wuzzy.”
Kelly urged her guest to open up more on the subject, telling her: “People don’t talk about this. Let’s talk about it.”
The ‘Breakaway’ singer herself then noted women grow “peach fuzz” on their faces as they get older and joked she looks “like a vampire” because hers “glistens” in the sun.
She added: “Literally I’m like, ‘I am a peach.’
“And I’m blonde, so then when I go in the sun, it looks like I’m a ‘Twilight’ vampire because I glisten. My beard will glisten.”
Meghan then admitted she was alerted to her facial hair after filming a music video.
She said: “I saw it in the ‘Lips Are Moving’ music video. They’re like, ‘We’re gonna do a close-up on your lips.’ I was like, ‘I have a moustache. Why did no one tell me?’
“And so on big important days, when I know we’re doing a music video, I will shave the night before [or] the day of.
Kelly said: “I don’t [shave] because I’m lazy, but my girl does.”
Meghan replied: “You look good. I can’t see a single hair.”
The two women admitted shaving can lead to even more problems.
Stroking her cheek, Kelly said: “I always make the joke. I’m like, ‘Are you going to shave my beard? Is that what we’re doing right now?’ Because there’s so much peach fuzz.”
Meghan noted: “And you have to get all of it or else there’s like a line.
“My make-up artist is like, ‘What have you done?’ And I’m like, ‘Did I miss a spot?’ and she’s like, ‘Mhm.’ ”
Kelly agreed: “I know, and it always catches the sun.’”
Meghan concluded: “That’s real. We’re hairy.”

Eva Longoria loves Victoria Beckham’s beauty tutorials

OHMYGOSSIP — Eva Longoria loves watching her friend Victoria Beckham’s make-up tutorials.
The ‘Flamin’ Hot’ director and the former Spice Girls star are self-confessed “beauty junkies” and the 48-year-old star has learned a lot from her fashion designer pal’s online advice.
She told Britain’s Grazia magazine: “We’re huge beauty junkies. She posts a lot more about her make-up routine and secrets though – that’s been so fun to watch.”
Eva – who is a spokesperson for L’Oreal Paris – favours a “fresh and glowing” look rather than heavy foundation.
She said: “I like my skin to look fresh and glowing so I’m more into skincare/make-up hybrids than full coverage foundations.
“L’Oreal Paris True Match Nude Plumping Serum is my go-to.
The former ‘Desperate Housewives’ star – who has four-year-old son Santiago with husband Jose ‘Pepe’ Baston – has been fascinated by the company’s lipsticks for as long as she can remember.
She said: “My mom used L’Oreal Paris, I remember her Color Riche lipstick in particular.
“I used to hunt for it in her purse and put it all over my face, write on the walls with it, much like Santi was doing this morning.”
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Eva caused an online sensation with a video of her touching up her grey roots with the company’s Magic Retouch spray.
She reflected: “People lost their minds! I wasn’t ready to let it all grow out.”
But the brunette beauty isn’t too worried about the other signs of ageing.
She said: “I equate ageing with wisdom.
“Every wrinkle is a badge of honour, a lasting memento of laughter or moments I’ve enjoyed in my life.”

Lil Nas X enjoys pushing himself with make-up

OHMYGOSSIP — Lil Nas X loves to “challenge traditional ideas of masculinity” as an ambassador for YSL Beauty.
The ‘Old Town Road’ hitmaker began experimenting with make-up last year and admitted every time he tries something new, it gives him the encouragement to push boundaries even further on the red carpet the next time round.
He told High Snobriety: “Every time I try something new and push myself outside of my comfort zone, it gives me even more inspiration to push it a little further the next time.
“YSL is such an iconic brand and I’m happy to be a part of something that is trying to challenge traditional ideas of masculinity.”
Nas likes checking out new beauty trends on TikTok.
He said: “I love the ’90s beauty looks and how much that ’90s grunge vibe is coming back.”
The 24-year-old rapper recently admitted he’s been taking beauty inspiration from drama series ‘Euphoria’.
He told Allure magazine: “I’m not a super huge makeup girl, but I like to put some shine or glitter around my eyes. I can’t think of a specific product right now, but that’s my go-to. It’s more of a smear with the finger, like a ‘Euphoria’ vibe. [I like] a glossy finish over the face, accentuating the lips.”
Nas – whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill -revealed that his “favourite feature” is his pout so loves to sport the YSL Beauty Candy Glaze Gloss.
He said: “My favourite feature of my face is probably definitely my lips. They were the parts of my face that I hated the most growing up.
“And as I grew up into my teen years, I learned more and more to love them and how great it is to have them.
“I like to keep a shine on my lips. I like to keep them moisturised. Lately, I’ve been trying out the [YSL Beauty] Candy Glaze Lip Gloss.”

Bella Hadid doesn’t believe in ‘one definition of beauty’

OHMYGOSSIP — Bella Hadid says there is not “one definition of beauty”.
The Charlotte Tilbury ambassador loves working with the 50-year-old make up artist and her brand because she is on “a mission” to make all sorts of looks “easy and accessible” to everyone wanting to get involved.
The 26-year-old supermodel told Harper’s Bazaar’s online edition: “I don’t think there is one definition of ‘beauty’ – that’s why I love partnering with Charlotte. She really believes in the power of beauty to unlock confidence for people and has always been on a mission to make beauty easy and accessible to people everywhere.
“When I was younger and starting to explore with beauty and make-up, I would use products more so to create a look or different persona. Now I see it as more of a tool to enhance or express how I’m feeling.”
Bella called it “flattering” that people on social media copy her beauty looks but that she has many different “influences” herself.
She said: “It’s flattering, of course, but I really can’t take full credit for my looks since I take inspiration from so many different places. I’m kind of like a sponge like that, just soaking up everything around me at all times, so my looks are always a culmination of all of the influences I encounter through all walks of my life – on set, on the street, online. I like to switch up my look depending on how I’m feeling.”
The Vogue covergirl – who boasts a fashionable family of big sister Gigi Hadid, 28, little brother Anwar Hadid, 23, and mother Yolanda Hadid, 59, – admitted she likes a “natural” beat for the warmer months.
Bella said: “I really like a natural, long-lasting look for the summer. I feel like I’m running around so much in the heat that I need a look that can keep up with me and my day, so a ‘no make-up’ make-up, bronzier look is always the best way to go. A good setting spray always helps for long-lasting wear.”

The 66-year-old actress told the Sunday Times: “I’m in my 60s now, and I’m all about battling aging in every way I can.
“I play a certain kind of woman who looks a certain kind of way. And professionally, I am looking after myself.”
Kim pointed out there was no need to go under the knife as there were so many things that could “stimulate your own body” to undermine the “aging” process.
She said: “There are so many other alternatives now [to plastic surgery], treatments that stimulate your own body to fight aging.
“There are fillers, Botox, there’s so many different things that you can investigate and try and see if it’s for you.”
