Nina Dobrev is the new brand ambassador of Reebok x Les Mills

OHMYGOSSIP — Nina Dobrev has been announced as the brand ambassador of Reebok x Les Mills partnership.
The 28-year-old actress has made it known she is a fitness fanatic, so it comes as no surprise the brunette beauty has been hand-picked to represent the brand.
And the former ‘Vampire Diaries’ star has shared the exciting news of her latest venture, which marks her debut campaign for the sportswear giant, on her Instagram account.
The image of Nina during an intense Les Mills GRIT workout, was captioned: “Out of breath & the sweat is real BUT, happy to announce I’m joining the @reebokwomen & @LesMillsTribe family! #Reebok #LesMills @Reebok (sic).”
Nina hopes her collaboration with Reebok and the fitness company will “inspire, engage and empower people” to get active and enjoy a healthy lifestyle.
She told WWD.com: “That’s kind of my mission with Reebok and Les Mills: to inspire, engage and empower people to be fit for life.”
And Nina believes the best thing about Les Mills is that the fitness sessions are a brief half an hour.
She explained: “The great thing about Les Mills workout is they are 30 minutes. You’re in and you’re out and you’re done. They’re really intense, you’re sweating and working super hard, but once you get out, you feel so much better.”
But the star believes there is a “deeper” sense of accomplishment after a fitness class.
Speaking previously she said: “It is a different accomplishment than most classes because it’s so mental. You have to push past what you think you can do, and just go for it.
“The accomplishment is deeper and more empowering because of the mental aspect, and you know how good it is for your body.”
Although Nina’s busy work schedule makes it difficult for her to exercise, she makes sure she “prioritises a healthy lifestyle” to keep her feeling relaxed.
She said: “Days on set are long, but I always prioritize a healthy lifestyle. Working out helps me maintain balance and really lets me relax and recharge.”

“It’s also about having the means to expand on all of the possible versions of yourself and the strength to be whoever you want.”
Meanwhile, Emily doesn’t want to get typecast as a “hot girl” and has admitted she is more selective about her film roles, although she is grateful her modelling career to fall back on.
Speaking previously, she said: “I’m always looking for scripts that pass the Bechdel test and this is definitely one where, for the first time, you see my character in their own world and their story through their perspective – not just a male perspective, and that’s exciting for me.
“That’s basically my strategy…and part of the reason I’m so grateful I have modelling and so many other things that I’m doing – because if I didn’t have other ways of making money, I’d be like, ‘OK, I guess I’m doing the bathing-suit-girl role.’ ”

When asked what cuisine turns her on, Chrissy – who has 15-month-old daughter Luna with her musical spouse – said: “No food really. When I feed John, and when we eat together, we eat, and we feel so full that you’re not going to go up to bed and go ‘Let’s do it’.”

Guinevere Van Seenus would struggle being a model today

OHMYGOSSIP — Guinevere Van Seenus thinks she would struggle being a new model in the fashion industry today.
The 39-year-old catwalk icon landed her first modelling job at the age of 15 years old, but the star doesn’t think she would be able to “navigate” the business if she was to forge a career on the runway now.
Speaking to Net-a-Porter’s The Edit, the style icon said: “I don’t think that I’d be able to navigate [the industry] or do it the way the girls do it today. I don’t think it’s in my personality.
“I can try, but I’m always going to revert back to being pretty quiet and not wanting to share everything about myself, wanting to connect with people very personally. But I appreciate it; I see how great it is for people and how good people are at it.”
And Guinevere doubts her career and regularly questions how she “made it” as a model because she has claimed her “measurements” were “never” what they should have been and she was “strange looking”.
She said: “I don’t know that I ever should have made it in this business, you know what I mean?
“My measurements were never right, I wasn’t commercial and, especially when I started, I was very strange-looking; personality-wise I was a little bit different from girls that are happy in the spotlight. But it’s a reality check; I don’t walk through the world with people assuming that I’m a model, especially because the type of work that I do isn’t in people’s faces.”
and the star has also revealed she has often been mistaken for “almost everyone” except for the model when she has been on a photoshoot.
She said: “I’ve had many times where I walk on set and people tell me where I can set up my make-up, or assume that I’m the journalist, the stylist, the hairdresser, the photographer… I get [mistaken for] almost everyone except the model.”
