Heidi Klum’s daughters ‘drool’ over her vast shoe collection

OHMYGOSSIP — Heidi Klum’s daughters “drool” over her vast shoe collection.
The 44-year-old supermodel has admitted she has kept hold of some of her garments to pass on to her children Helene, 13, and Lou, seven, when they are older, although the two are “worried” they won’t fit into their mother’s shoes when they grew up.
The blonde-haired beauty told PEOPLE: “I have a lot of red-carpet looks and gowns — not all of them, but I have a few because I have two girls.
“My girls are drooling over my shoes. They’re waiting, and they’re worried that they’re not going to have my shoe size. I have an 11 shoe, so they have to grow into it! If they’re not that size, then they’re s**t out of luck.”
And the catwalk icon has revealed she has kept her “really special shoes” in pristine condition, which are all “photographed” and “boxed”.
She explained: “Out of my major, major shoes, they’re all photographed, boxed — if you go into my basement, I have boxes with photos because I have really special shoes that I’ve worn.
“Sometimes you have maybe a more simple outfit on, but then big killer shoes.”
Although Heidi’s two daughters are desperate to claim her outfits in the future, they have been experimenting walking in the stiletto shoes already.
Heidi – who also has sons Johan, 10, and 11-year-old Henry – explained: “They go in [my closet] and wear my heels and run around. Obviously they don’t fit, but they play.
“They always played, and even my boys have.”
And the style muse has revealed she was the same as her children when she was younger as she copied her mother Erna’s habits and picked up on her passion for lingerie.
The ‘America’s Got Talent’ judge said: “I worked with one of the biggest lingerie companies for 13 years before I started my own, so I always had access to great lingerie. I have to say, even before that I think my mom also [influenced me] because she was really into lingerie, she always had a variety of different great things and I saw that. You kind of model a little after what your mom does. I think also that’s why I’m very free with my body. I tan topless because I saw my mom do that.”

Tori Spelling regrets plucking her eyebrows

OHMYGOSSIP — Tori Spelling regrets plucking her eyebrows “so thin” when she was younger.
The 44-year-old actress wished she had never followed the nineties trend and trimmed her facial feature too much because she has found it hard to grow her eyebrows back since.
Speaking to E! news about the beauty blunder, the ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star said: “I shouldn’t have plucked my eyebrows so thin in the ’90s. It was a big deal in the ’90s! No one ever told me the brow would be back, and now the brow is back. It’s something that when you pluck it’s really hard to get back.
“I wish I’d never plucked my eyebrows. We all did it on 90210. Jennie [Garth] and I both look back and we’re like, ‘Oh my God. We plucked our eyebrows.'”
Tori has admitted her decision to hack away at the straw hairs on her eyebrows was because she was “obsessed” with fellow actress Drew Barrymore who also had the small feature.
She explained: “In the ’90s I was obsessed with Drew Barrymore movies. She had the thin ones and it was totally cool.”
But the Beauty Box by Tori founder has created a product in her eponymous cosmetics line to help create the illusion of fuller and thicker brows.
She said: “Luckily, we have a product for that.”
Meanwhile, the California-born star believes her and her husband Dean McDermott have a close bond with their daughters Stella, nine, and Hattie, five, as well as sons Liam, 10, Finn, four, and five-month-old Beau.
Speaking previously, she said: “I think we just bond on such a level with kids. With communication and making ourselves aware not to forget ourselves and each other in the chaos. I think that is super important. After they go to bed, we are so exhausted, just have like a snuggle together and recap from the day,’ she revealed.”

The fashion muse – who has seven-year-old son Riley – posted a string of videos of her on set of the photoshoot on her Instagram Story, which lasts on the photo-sharing site for 24 hours, over the past few days.
One clip captures Jourdan adorning silver knee high boots and a purple velvet jumper dress as she danced on the steps outside of the studio during a short break.
Jourdan has revealed when she designed her capsule she was adamant her creations would suit all body types, to make everyone feel “comfortable” in her garments.
Speaking previously, she said: “I want people who are 5 feet 5 inches and skinny, or 5 feet 5 inches and curvy, or 5 feet 10 inches – all types of women – to feel comfortable in it and feel good. So, once I got the mindset of how I wanted it to be, I had to then think, ‘Ok, maybe that fabric might not be too complementary to this kind of woman or that kind of woman’. We played around.”
Jourdan has previously teamed up with Marks and Spencer on the Lil’ LonDunn childrenswear line, and the star has admitted she is selective with what projects she takes on because she wants it to feel “authentic”.
She explained: “I’m not just going to put my name to something random. With the kids’ line it was authentic because I have a child, and with Missguided, I want to be able to dress women.”

Kendall Jenner’s family threw out ‘all the tweezers’ to stop her plucking her eyebrows

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner’s family threw out “all the tweezers” in the house to stop her plucking her eyebrows.
The 21-year-old model has admitted when she was younger she thought it was “cool” to have thin eyebrows and hacked off her facial hair to follow the trend, much to her sister Kim Kardashian West, Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian’s disapproval.
Speaking about her beauty blunder to Vogue.com, the catwalk icon said: “You really want my beauty secrets?
“I usually pluck them, sometimes I wax but only under.
“When I was, like, 14, having thin eyebrows was the cool thing, so I literally plucked them all off.
“My sisters yelled at me and threw out all the tweezers in the house.”
But the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star has revealed ever since then she has stayed away from the utensil and has “never touched” her eyebrows since.
She added: ” I’ve never touched them myself ever since.”
The raven-haired television personality has admitted she never “fully” applies lipstick to her plump pout, but she will lightly “dabs” the product on her lips to add a touch of colour.
She said: “I don’t fully put lipstick on; I take it and then dab it just to enhance my own colour.”
Kendall has revealed her experience working on photoshoots and fashion shows has enabled her to pick up beauty tips throughout her career.
She said: “I learn a lot from being on set.”
“What taught me most about how to do my own make-up is just my own face and finding out what looks good on me and what doesn’t.”
And the star has revealed she doesn’t like to overload cosmetic products because she dislikes the “cakey” look.
She explained: “I don’t really like to put too much on, because I hate it when I have cakey make-up on. I’ve done it in cars in porta parties, I’m not kidding. I like having gloss rather than just matte, and if I don’t have gloss i use a chapstick or something.”
Although Kendall has become a dab hand at perfecting her own make-up, she has claimed she is not as talented when it comes to styling her own hair.
She said: “I’m not a great hair stylist.”

The 51-year-old supermodel’s daughter has admitted she is “chaperoning” her 15-year-old child to her upcoming runway appearances, and although Cindy will not be at “every” show she has given her brood a lot of advice to help her boast a successful career at the helm of the fashion business.
Speaking to WWD about the tips she has passed on to her offspring – who is the face of Marc Jacobs’ fragrance Daisy – she said: “Well, I’m chaperoning her. I’m not gonna be at every show, but I hope she understands how exhausting your first show can be.”
The style icon – who also has son Presley, 18, with her husband Rande Gerber – has told Kaia to be punctual, professional and not a “diva” if she wants to have longevity.
She said: “My advice to her–and it would be the same if she was going off to college or taking a job in a clothing store — is be on time, be professional, don’t be a diva, get off your phone.
“You’re around these incredibly talented people, soak up information, listen, watch, keep your eyes open, be present, and enjoy it. Have fun. It’s fashion.”
Meanwhile, Cindy believes there is a lot more focus on the current models than she received during the peak of her career because of social media.
She said:”Kendall [Jenner] and Gigi [Hadid] and Bella [Hadid] and Karlie [Kloss] and Cara [Delevingne], because of their use and access to social media, you know these girls and you want to know these girls. There’s an equal amount — if not more — because of social media focus on this group today than there was on our group.”

But the American beauty has revealed her stylist tries to force her out of her comfort zone and has been desperately trying to turn Brittany into a “lady”.
She explained: “My stylist friend is much more of a lady, she wants to always make me very Jackie O. ”
However, Brittany puts up all the stops and is constantly “pushing back” her fashion guru’s advice.
She added: “I’m always pushing back”.
The ‘John Tucker Must Die’ star has admitted she has had her fair share of “unglamorous” moments in her life, and even when she attends a glitzy star-studded bash she feels “out of place” and awkward.
She explained: “Oh god, there’s so many not glamorous moments. The most glamorous thing I’ve done for a while would be be to go to Cannes for Bushwick. there were yacht parties and I felt so out of place. I didn’t know what to do with my hands and stood in a corner at some point.
“Probably the most unglamorous would be rushing to meetings with French fries in my car, talking on the phone, getting dressed because I’m late.”
Meanwhile, Brittany is set for a busy year ahead as she is set to film a new short movie, which she will also direct.
Speaking about her future ventures, she said: “I’m getting ready to shoot a short film I wrote and I’m going to direct so that’s exciting. I also did a movie called ‘Hangman’ with Al Pacino and Karl Urban. That was great, working with them and learning from Al.”

Iman never thought she would be a model

OHMYGOSSIP — Iman never thought she would be a model when she was younger.
The 62-year-old catwalk icon – whose full name is Zara Mohamed Abdulmajid – embarked on a career in the fashion business in 1976 when she landed her first major modelling job starring in a photoshoot for Vogue, but the star has admitted when she was a child growing up in East Africa she couldn’t even dream of a future as a fashion model.
In a post penned by the fashion muse for Vogue.com, she wrote: “In 1976, after I’d arrived in New York, aged 20, my very first modelling job was for Vogue. It was not, however, my first sitting; that happened a year or so earlier in Kenya. There, by chance, I made the acquaintance of the rakish photographer-cum-adventurer Peter Beard. When Peter proposed a photo session, though I could never have envisioned the trajectory it would set in motion, I could at least see negotiating a fee for the equivalent of my college tuition – and a deal was struck.
“Growing up in eastern Africa in the 1960s and ’70s, I could not have aspired to become a fashion model even if I’d wanted to: If they existed, news of their habits never reached me at boarding school.”
Iman – who was married to the late David Bowie before his tragic death in January 2016 – has admitted she was “hardly confident” when she first started out, but she was not “scared” of modelling because she felt she had “nothing to lose”.
She explained: “When the day of Peter’s shoot arrived, though I brought along my own face and body, these were the women whose images I summoned to bring me to life in front of the camera. I pretended I was all of them. More prosaically, for protection, I also brought my five girlfriends, who stood sentinel just outside the camera’s frame. While I was hardly confident, I was not scared. I felt I had nothing to lose, only to gain.”

Heidi Klum ‘loves’ leopard print

OHMYGOSSIP — Heidi Klum “loves” leopard print.
The 44-year-old supermodel has admitted her style has changed over time as she now prefers to wear colourful outfits and printed garments instead of more simplistic clothes, and her passion for the trend inspired her clothing line with Lidl named Esmara.
The style icon told Vogue.com: “I dress very colourfully nowadays and lots of print. My closet is too small I think.
“I think the leopard print is a new classic! Leopard is never out of style. It’s strong and wild and a little bit mysterious, like a modern woman should be. I think it’s a print that my mother would love to wear but also something I love to wear. Personally, I’d mix a floral print with my leopard jacket, and then maybe add something in a stripe. Because that’s what’s hot right now: print clashing.
“For me fashion is fun and I would love for every woman to have fun with cool clothes.”
And the catwalk icon believes her interest in the print will rub off on her customers.
She said: “I am absolutely convinced that there are many women who would really like to wear or even try on a leopard suit. For, let’s say, 500€ they probably won’t buy it, especially if they’re unsure [but] for around 35€ you’re like ‘Ok. Wow! Let’s just try it and see what happens.'”
The ‘Project Runway’ judge has revealed her daily regime sees her carry out a “kind of game” with herself as she decides what outfit to wear to become the person she wants to be on that day that is different to the woman she woke up as.
She explained: “My daily style answers an important question for me: ‘Which person do I want to be today?’ The clothes I’m wearing lead me through my day and bring me into the mood I like to be in. It is kind of a game between the person I like to be and the person that woke up in the morning. I enjoy that very much because it shows the power and strength of fashion. I couldn’t live with an every-day-is-the-same kind of style. I am not the person from yesterday, am I?”

Olivia Culpo’s Pretty Little Thing collection is inspired by Italy

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Culpo’s fashion range with Pretty Little Thing was inspired by Italy and “the colours of Rome”.
The 25-year-old model recently launched her new clothing line with the brand and the star has admitted the Pretty Little Thing x Olivia Culpo was “Mediterranean-inspired” and influenced by her visits to the European city, which has blooming flowers and fresh fruit filling the streets.
Speaking to InStyle about her latest venture, the brunette beauty said: “I was really inspired by Italy and the colours of Rome in the spring and walking in any sort of city where the flowers are blooming and fresh fruit is abundant. And flower markets. [The collection] was very colourful, very Mediterranean-inspired.”
And the style icon believes her designs are “classic and timeless and elegant”, but she “always knew” the 30-piece collection would be “great”.
She explained: “It’s also classic and timeless and elegant, so it was a perfect collaboration in that way because it was fun and sexy but also timeless, which I think is really important.
“I knew it was going to be a great collaboration. Their clothes are so accessible for people of every single body type and age range. And they make everybody feel so sexy, because it’s the nature of every single piece that they have.”
Olivia also believes a sleek of red lipstick can transform any outfit.
The ‘The Other Woman’ star said: “For me, a red lip is iconic because of so many reasons: because of the people who have worn it and made it iconic in the past. It’s because of the way that it pairs so well with classic colours, like black and white together. And I just feel like any outfit can be elevated and be made more iconic and more of a statement with a red lip. It definitely jazzes up a look in a very sophisticated way when done appropriately. I think that, for me, if the outfit lends itself to a more classic and timeless feel, a red lip just takes it to the next level.
“I think that it’s a woman who isn’t afraid to be bold and isn’t afraid to stand out and wants to celebrate her own beauty, confidence, and uniqueness.”

Khloé Kardashian ‘doubts’ her make-up ability

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloé Kardashian “doubts” herself when she applies her own make-up.
The 33-year-old reality star has admitted she is used to beauty experts styling her and applying cosmetic products to her face that when she is left alone to carry out her beauty routine she worries it will go wrong and it won’t look as good.
Speaking on her website khloewithak.com, the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star said: “I think we all know our own faces and features best, so it’s easiest for us to do our own make-up.
“The funny thing is, since I get my glam done so much for filming, sometimes I doubt myself when I do my own make-up. But everyone tells me I do just as good a job as my glam team, which is really flattering, because I only roll with the best.
“I always, always have to get a little contour on, but I think the thing I’m most insecure about is how I contour my nose. I still can’t do it like my glam babies can.”
The Good American businesswoman has revealed she always struggles putting on false eyelashes herself, and will decide not to wear the extensions if she has to glue them on, but will layer on lashings of mascara instead.
She explained: “I don’t know how to put them on and, for me, sometimes less is more. Lancôme Hypnôse Custom Volume Mascara has been my go-to for ages.”
However, the blonde-haired beauty does like to have an “off duty day” when she goes make-up free.
She said: “I think it’s nice on an off-duty day to see your skin. I use concealer to spot treat any blemishes or circles under my eyes. This Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer has a really great texture that melts right into your skin (and doesn’t cake in creases) and gives amazing coverage.”

Jessica Alba reveals reason behind launching The Honest Company

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Alba founded The Honest Company to prove she is more than just an actress.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan.com about her career, the brunette beauty said: “There aren’t a lot of women who have multi-hyphen job descriptions or have done many different things in their careers and have been successful in them.
“It’s more, ‘I always knew I had it in me and you didn’t believe in me and now hopefully you see something or your perspective is different, and you’re judging things differently. And hopefully, you’re opening your eyes up to what is possible.'”
And the ‘Fantastic Four’ star felt she needed people to see the outcome of her other business ventures to change their perception of her.
She said: “I think when you start off and you’re known in one career, for people’s perception to be changed, they sort of need to see it to believe it.
“When I was known for an action franchise or a something like that, then it was like, ‘That’s all you can do.’ So then I decided to do a dance movie for young girls called ‘Honey’. It was the antithesis of a hardcore action heroine, which is what I was known as. And then I wanted to do comedy because I knew that that was going to be so different to the superhero people knew me for.”
The mogul has admitted she feels a “quiet satisfaction” that she boasts a successful career in front of the camera, as well as with her skincare and beauty business.
She added: “It’s more of a quiet satisfaction.”

Lady Gaga’s hair inspires her entire aesthetic

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga’s hair inspires her entire aesthetic when she’s on tour.
The 31-year-old singer is currently jetting across the globe as part of her ‘Joanne World Tour’, and her long-time make-up expert Sarah Tanno, who is a Marc Jacobs beauty global artist ambassador, has revealed the musician’s blonde locks are the base for the beauty professional to expand on when she is applying make-up to the star.
Speaking to PEOPLE about the ‘Bad Romance’ hitmaker’s beauty regime, Sarah said: “Her hair always inspires the direction I go in. Frederic [Aspiras] and I work very closely about our ideas before we present them to Gaga. I love the combination of peach, pink and turquoise Frederic designed. After seeing the hair and the colour placement, I knew the make-up would complement it perfectly.”
Although Lady Gaga – whose real name is Stefani Germanotta – is known for her outlandish costumes, she wanted to change her style for her latest string of concerts to reflect “fresh elevated glam”, which sees the blonde-haired beauty boasts a sleek winged eyeliner with Swarovski crystals around the edge, because she wants her fans to be able to “recreate” the same look.
Sarah explained: “I wanted something that felt new for her and looks incredible on stage … fresh elevated glam.
“I’ve been on this kick of doing more of a rounded shape winged liner as it complements her so well, and I’ve never seen it on stage before.
“I use seven [crystals] on each eye. It’s a combination of [Swarovski’s] AB crystals so they reflect any colour light that hits them.
“[Gaga] is the happiest when she is with her fans and I felt a responsibility to give them a really great pop star look that they can recreate. They love wearing our looks to her shows and I love seeing them.”
But Sarah does not struggle styling the American powerhouse because she considers the pair to be on the “same wave length” when it comes to beauty.
Speaking about her partnership with the vocalist, she said: “We are always on the same wave length so it’s easy for us to collaborate and shoot ideas back and forth.
“Our aesthetic of what we think is beautiful is very similar, which is why we work so well together.”
And Sarah believes her work with Lady Gaga is a “very sacred thing”.
She added: “Our creative process is a very sacred thing so we like to keep things like this close to our hearts and they all live at Gaga’s archives.”
