Khloe Kardashian adds sweat pants to Good American line

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloe Kardashian has added comfy black sweat pants to her Good American jeans line.
The 33-year-old reality star announced the new addition to the plus-size range on Instagram on Thursday (17.08.17).
Sharing a promo picture of herself wearing the trousers with a latex leotard underneath alongside her girl squad, the blonde beauty wrote: “JUST DROPPED!! GOOD SWEATS from @goodamerican – available now at GoodAmerican.com in a full and inclusive size range #GoodSquad #GoodSweats (sic)”
The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star previously admitted she used to be embarrassed to wear jeans when she was younger because of her curvier figure.
She said: “When I was younger I never wore jeans because I was too embarrassed. I would go shopping with my sisters and the [sales assistants] would say, ‘Oh, we don’t stock your size here.’ It was mortifying. Just because you’re bigger or curvier, it doesn’t mean you don’t want to be stylish.”
Khloe – who lost 40lbs after embarking on a fitness regime – said she wanted to make sure this doesn’t ever happen to anyone else and that’s why she launched Good American to empower larger women.
She explained: “Good American jeans are all about empowerment. We cut them to fit a fuller figure, rather than straight up and down. We decided we would not sell in a department store unless they took the collection in all sizes. We hope to break down barriers.”
And Khloe also revealed that her “go-to designer” is her brother-in-law Kanye West because his clothes flatter her figure.
She said: “I like Yeezy, Kanye West’s line. It fits the female form spectacularly and I love its simplicity.”

Calvin Klein chose Kate Moss for beauty campaign because of her natural beauty

OHMYGOSSIP — Calvin Klein chose Kate Moss to star in his beauty campaign because of her natural beauty.
The 43-year-old model was handpicked to front the American brand’s fragrance commercial for it’s Obsession scent in 1993 because she did not have “big bosoms” and had not surgically enhanced her body like other stars.
Speaking in an interview for the Iris Covet Book about the blonde haired beauty, the 74-year-old fashion designer said: “I didn’t want these girls … who had big bosoms. They augment their bodies. They used artificial implants and things. They were doing crazy things to their bodies. I found that offensive. I found it really unattractive, unhealthy and a bad message to send.”
And the catwalk icon has also credited the creative mastermind as a “really clever” mogul, because he could see potential in Kate as a model when they first worked together over 20 years ago.
She explained: “I think Calvin was really clever. He knew there was going to be something.
“I knew it was a job, but I thought it was going to be a right laugh. It was the only time I got paid to go away. It’s never been like that since.”
And Kate – who has 14-year-old daughter Lila with her former partner Jefferson Hack – has revealed her previous boyfriend and photographer Mario Sorrenti, who photographed the perfume campaign for Calvin Klein years ago, was more “professional” than she was and was constantly working to take the best photograph of Kate.
She continued: “Mario [Sorrenti] worked me like a dog. He was more professional than I was. He didn’t stop taking pictures even when I was sleeping. I was like, ‘Leave me alone.’ I’d wake up to the click of the Pentax. I don’t remember relaxing. I remember working.”

And it is believed the ‘Desperate Housewives’ star’s exhibition will be live-streamed on Facebook, and it will also be broadcasted in a 360 degree virtual reality.
The brunette beauty has revealed she has constantly been asked to launch a clothing line, which she has wanted to do “forever”.
Speaking previously about her fashion ventures, Eva – who is married to Jose Baston – said: “People keep asking me why it’s taken me so long to do a clothing line, because I’ve been wanting to do it forever.”
And the American star has revealed she has waited to release a fashion range because she only ever wants to throw herself whole-heartedly into the creative process.
She explained at the time of her first launch with The Limited: “I was offered a lot of different deals – it was basically to just put your name on something. But I wanted to be part of the process. I wanted to design, I wanted to help in the sourcing, I wanted to be involved in buying the artwork (for prints and graphics), everything. And to do that, it is its own full-time job.”
And Eva has revealed it has been a “lifelong project” of hers to join the fashion industry because she has been sewing since she was seven years old.
Speaking previously, she said: “It’s a lifelong project of mine to be in the fashion industry. I’ve been sewing since the age of seven.
“I want to be modern yet classic, so it’s a constant balance in this ever-changing industry. It’s an exciting time for me and my brand, I’m honoured to receive this from such a prestigious organisation.”

Natalie Portman says motherhood impacts on her ‘beauty maintenance’

OHMYGOSSIP — Natalie Portman says motherhood has impacted on her “beauty maintenance”.
The 35-year-old actress has admitted she finds it “tricky” perfecting her beauty and skincare routine now she has six-year-old son Aleph and her “small baby” Amalia, who she gave birth to in February this year.
Speaking about her struggles as a parent to Harper’s Bazaar magazine, the brunette beauty said: “I don’t do much beauty maintenance, and I find it tricky right now having a small baby.”
However, the ‘Black Swan’ star has revealed she relies on the wellness app named PRIV, which gives her direct contact with a hair stylist or make-up expert at the click of the finger, who pamper her with “mani pedis” in the comfort of her own home.
She added: “But I’ve been using the PRIV beauty app every once in a while to schedule mani-pedis at the house, which has been nice.”
And Natalie is set for a busy year ahead, as she is set to star in ‘Bronco Belle’ and portray an aspiring bull rider in the upcoming movie, which will be directed by Anna Rose Holmer.
However, the ‘Jackie’ star believes women are still being objectified in movies rather than being portrayed as “complex” individuals.
She thinks the movie business still has a long way to go in terms of the parts on offer for actresses in mainstream movies, just like many other industries still need to offer more to women.
Speaking previously about the industry, she said: “We’re having a problem with female leadership – in business, in government, in storytelling. I think it has to do with being a boss. We’re still having a problem, first with women in that position, and second there are so many obstacles in their way.
“We are so often put in roles as objects of desire, with a male view, as opposed to subjects of desire with complex weaknesses, and moments of strength and focus – and you can be all of those things.”

She explained: “I’m like, ‘Uh, no’ if something is itchy or not comfortable.”

Winnie Harlow doesn’t think beauty lies in the ‘opinions of others’

OHMYGOSSIP — Winnie Harlow doesn’t think beauty lies in the “opinions of others”.
The 23-year-old model, who suffers from the skin pigment condition vitiligo, has taken to social media to speak out about her opinion on what the meaning of beauty is.
Alongside a picture of the catwalk icon sporting nothing but a neutral-coloured thong, which she posted on her Instagram account, she wrote: “the real difference isn’t my skin. It’s the fact that I don’t find my beauty in the opinions of others. (sic).”
And the fashion muse has revealed she does not need the reassurance from other people about her appearance, because she “knows” she is “beautiful”.
She continued: “I’m beautiful because I know it. Celebrate Your unique beauty today (& everyday)! (sic).”
The Toronto-born star’s outspoken post comes as no surprise because she has previously admitted she is a “tough guy” and will “muscle through” any problems she is faced with.
Speaking previously, she said: “My best friend teases me about being such a ‘tough guy’.
“I always muscle through my problems, but there are still times I’ll call her and cry at night because things get tough.
“Then the next day, I’ll be like, ‘Cry? Who me? Nah, thugs don’t cry’ and she’ll just laugh like, ‘Yeah, right.'”
Winnie’s thick skinned personality comes from when she was bullied for her appearance when she was a child, which caused her to eventually realise her own opinion was what counted and stopped listening to the hurtful comments.
She said: “The only reason I didn’t like my skin is because I was told it wasn’t what’s right. Or I was told it wasn’t normal.
“But who’s to say that? Eventually I learned that my opinion of myself matters so much more than anyone else’s and I wish I’d known it earlier.
“One day I just didn’t give a f**k anymore.”
Although Winnie is pleased people find her “inspirational” but she won’t go out of her way to change her behaviour to set a good example as she has insisted she isn’t a role model.
She explained: “I’m breaking boundaries. But I definitely don’t want to be called a role model.”

Julianne Moore’s ‘biggest regret’ is plucking her eyebrows

OHMYGOSSIP — Julianne Moore’s “biggest regret” is ruining her eyebrows when she was younger.
The 56-year-old actress has admitted she wished she had never touched a pair of tweezers, because the moment she did she plucked out “all” of her facial hair.
Speaking to Hello! magazine, the flame-haired beauty said: “Gosh. My biggest regret is that I ruined my eyebrows. The minute I could hold a pair of tweezers in the 1970s I pulled them all out, to be fashionable at the time.”
And the ‘Still Alice’ star has revealed since then her eyebrows have never grown back properly.
She continued: “And they never grew back the same way ever again.”
Julianne has learned from her mistakes and has urged her 15-year-old daughter Liv to take her beauty advice.
The movie icon- who also has 19-year-old son Caleb – said: “My daughter has these gorgeous beautiful, really full eyebrows and I am constantly telling her not to touch them or let anyone else touch them. Don’t let anyone destroy your eyebrows.”
Julianne has revealed her signature look is to opt for a bolder eye to accentuate the area, instead of wearing a bright lipstick.
Speaking about her style tips, she said: “I tend to do more of an eye, just because I don’t have a very large mouth or lips, so if I put a dark colour on my mouth it looks hard. It’s always been that way.”
And the American star has revealed her skin care routine has changed over the years, as she now applies face oil, which she has admitted has become a “game changer”.
Julianne, who is an ambassador for L’Oreal Paris, explained: “Although I am now using a face oil – they didn’t have them when I was younger and now I love them. That’s been a game changer for me. That level of moisture and in such an easy-to-use formulation has been so good for my skin. sometimes I use more skincare so I can use less foundation.
“Yes, I wash my face, put on the oil, leave it to settle and then apply the moisturiser with the SPF.”

Demi Lovato decided to create an athleisure line after the Met Gala

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato was inspired to create an athleisure line with Fabletics after she attended the Met Gala.
The 24-year-old joined forces with the sports brand earlier this year to launch a clothing range, and the star has admitted it wasn’t until she attended the glamorous star studded bash last year, which made her feel left out, that she wanted to explore the fashion industry further.
speaking to WWD about her partnership, the brunette beauty said: “I went to the Met Gala for the first time last year and I remember feeling kind of like, ‘I don’t know why I am here’ because I wear workout clothes every day. And my manager said, ‘Why don’t we do something that’s more authentic to you?’ and then this came about.”
The ‘Cool For The Summer’ hitmaker has revealed she always intended for her collection to be “edgier” and suitable for the “younger” generation.
She explained: “I had seen a lot of yogawear and lots of yoga pants and those tend to be lighter colors and kind of the more zen. I wanted something a bit edgier and younger, something I would want to wear every day.
“There are certain silhouettes I like on myself — jackets like this, leggings. I don’t wear shorts a lot, so I put those in for other people. There are these pants and shorts that have an elastic band that wraps around your waist. It’s very flattering and it just gives it a little something more. It’s just an edgier look to it.
“I wanted everything to be functional and to look great on people of all sizes. That’s what’s important to me. You also have the opportunity to just wear a sports bra and leggings or you can put a jacket or tank or sweatshirt over it and still look cute. There’s lots of layering pieces.”
Demi has recently launched her second capsule for the fashion house, and she has already teased a third release is in the works.
Speaking about her future creations with the label, she said: “We’ve got some rose gold, which I’m really excited about. This might be my favorite collection, but I say that about every one.”

Kate Moss ‘worked like a dog’ on CK shoot

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Moss “worked like a dog” on her 1993 Calvin Klein Obsession shoot.
The 47-year-old model and her then-boyfriend, photographer Mario Sorrenti, were flown to the idyllic British Virgin Islands to shoot the iconic campaign but Kate says it wasn’t exactly a relaxing getaway.
Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, she said: “I knew it was a job, but I thought it was going to be a right laugh. It was the only time I got paid to go away. It’s never been like that since.
“Mario worked me like a dog. He was more professional than I was. He didn’t stop taking pictures even when I was sleeping. I was like, ‘Leave me alone.’ I’d wake up to the click of the Pentax. I don’t remember relaxing. I remember working.”
Mario added: “I shot her on the bed or walking around or standing up or on the couch,” . We did as much as you could do on the couch at that time.”
However, the hard work was worth it as the campaign photo became a “cultural phenomenon”.
Mario said: “I remember thinking, ‘That’s a good picture’ But it became a cultural phenomenon. We would go to parties and people would have it taped on their walls. Kate was so freaking beautiful.”
Calvin Klein’s Chief Creative Officer Raf Simons was inspired by Obsession when he was working on his debut fragrance with the brand and he asked Mario to find previously unused pictures from the 1993 for the new campaign for Obsessed.
Kate said: “It was like seeing home movies. I don’t tend to cry, but it was so nostalgic. Oh, my God, we were so young. I showed them to my daughter [14-year-old Lila Grace], and she said, ‘Oh, Mommy, look how little you were.'”

He explained: “I see the signs of, ‘We stayed out a bit late that night. Or had a bit too much to drink.'”
Chris is the face of Boss Bottled Tonic and although he admits he is not an expert on fragrances, he is happy that it got his wife’s seal of approval.
He said: “They give you a list of the high and low notes. None of which I’m an expert on. But the one thing they told me is that apple strudel was the inspiration. It happens to be my wife’s favourite dessert. She likes the fragrance. That’s always a plus.”
Meanwhile, Chris recently opened up about his diverse workouts and he likes to incorporate cardiovascular activity into his regime to “shock” his body and to prevent him from having any problems in the future.
He said: “My workouts are also about being diverse and mixing things up. It’s easy to get bored. If I’m doing arm day, I’ll work in box jumps in between sets. By working in more cardio, you keep shocking your body and you prevent having problems in certain areas.”

He told GQ: “My favourite outfit is like a ‘Peaky Blinders’ kind of look. I have a really old-man style. I’m also really into skateboarding outfits, like the baggy Vans jeans? But I don’t like dressing saggy, like American my-age kids do.”

Brooklyn is moving to New York for university and although his parents have encouraged his passion for photography, his mother is upset about him leaving London for the US.
He said: “I’m nervous, and my mum’s upset about me leaving, but it’s really exciting. I kind of live in the moment. I don’t think people in New York will annoy me, and I feel like when I go there, I’ll meet lifelong friends. Stuff like that.”
