Khloe Kardashian gives Malika Haqq style advice

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloe Kardashian always gives Malika Haqq style advice.
The 33-year-old reality star – who launched her own all-size line with Good American – often lends her words of wisdom to her 34-year-old pal and advises her on “cute” outfits she should wear.
Speaking to Heat magazine about the fashion tips she receives from the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star, Malika said: “Khloe’s like, ‘Oh my god, you’re so cute – wear this, put this on, do that.'”
But Malika wouldn’t want it any other way and thinks friends should comment on each other’s outfits.
She added: “Your friends have got to be in on your look. If your friends don’t tell you when you do or don’t look good, then you [have] got to get some new ones.”
And the ‘ATL’ actress will often steal the former ‘Kocktails with Khloe’ host’s clothes, although she has insisted she will “always” give the garment back.
Asked what the last piece of clothing she borrowed was, the brunette beauty said: “It was probably a jacket from Khloe – it was probably from her house or something like that. I always give it back because if I want it, I can just go and get it myself.”
Malika has recently partnered with the online brand Pretty Little Thing (PLT) as their new brand ambassador, and the star wanted to partner with the brand because she believes they are “incredibly affordable for the everyday girl”.
Speaking about her collaboration, she said: “It’s hard to connect with your fans if you go out and tell them to get something that is unattainable for them. PLT is not only incredibly affordable for the everyday girl, but it also caters for the most casual girls all the way up to the most fashionable.”

Anais Gallagher credits modelling career to Noel Gallagher

OHMYGOSSIP — Anais Gallagher has credited her modelling career to her father Noel Gallagher.
The 17-year-old fashion muse thinks it is “tough” for her to be recognised as an individual because of her famous parents, and she has acknowledged she has not reached the “platform”, which has enabled her to star in campaigns for Reebok, Accessorize and Dolce and Gabbana, by her “own right”.
Speaking about her career and the assistance of the former Oasis band member and his previous partner Meg Matthews to Rollacoaster magazine, the blonde-haired beauty said: “I think it’s tough for me because in no way am I here by my own right. I’m here with this platform because of my parents.”
Although Anais agrees with the fact her success is due to the ‘Holy Mountain’ vocalist, she believes she has “sustained” her position off her own back and because of her “hard working” work ethic.
She continued: “People say, ‘You only did that because of your dad’. That’s 100 per cent true, but I’ve only sustained where I am because I’m me. I’m a hard worker and I have my own mind.”
And Anais is “proud” of her political post published in Teen Vogue, which she has insisted were her own beliefs, although she has claimed “a lot of teachers” slammed her for the article.
She explained: “Like when I wrote about not being able to vote in the general election for Teen Vogue.
“A lot of teachers said I had a pretty face and a lucky last name and that I wasn’t intelligent enough to write, or couldn’t because I’m dyslexic. But that was nothing to do with my name. I wrote it myself and it was published. I was immensely proud of myself.”

Gucci go fur-free

OHMYGOSSIP — Gucci has vowed to go fur-free in 2018.
The brand’s president and chief executive, Marco Bizzari, has announced the prestigious fashion house will not be making any more garments out of animal fur, including mink, coyote, raccoon dog, fox, rabbit as well as other specially bred species, in a bid to help the environment.
Speaking at an event held at the London College of Fashion, which has been obtained by BBC News, Marco said: “Being socially responsible is one of Gucci’s core values, and we will continue to strive to do better for the environment and animals.”
And the businessman has revealed Gucci’s creative director, Alessandro Michele, was the driving force behind the new change because they believe he shares the “same values” as them.
Marco explained: “In selecting a new creative director, I wanted to find someone who shared a belief in the importance of the same values. I sensed that immediately on meeting Alessandro for the first time.”
Although the initiative will take effect with their Spring/Summer 2018 range, they plan to auction off any remaining animal fur products in the future, which will see proceeds go towards the animal rights company Humane Society International and LAV.
Gucci’s decision has been hailed as a “huge game changer” in the fashion business by the organisation, and will cause a “huge ripple effect” throughout the industry by joining the Fur Free Alliance and promoting alternative materials to fur.
The president of Human Society International, Kitty Block, said: “Gucci going fur-free is a huge game-changer.
“For this Italian powerhouse to end the use of fur because of the cruelty involved will have a huge ripple effect throughout the world of fashion.”
However, the International Fur Federation do not think Gucci’s actions “make sense”.
The CEO of the International Fur Federation, Mark Oaten, said: “I am surprised that Gucci have decided to stop using fur in 2018.
“Claiming they have done this for environmental reasons makes no sense. Fur is the most natural fashion item. It comes from nature and lasts for decades unlike chemical based fabrics or fake fur.
“Despite the Gucci decision the catwalks remain full of fur and many top designers continue to use this natural and beautiful material.”

The 53-year-old fashion designer was announced as the creative director at Christian Dior last year, following her departure from Valentino – where she worked with Pierpaolo Piccioli – and the star has admitted she is still trying to settle in to her new position and new location, as well as familiarise herself with her label’s creations.
Speaking to InStyle.com about her new venture, the creative mastermind said: “This is the first time I’ve been based in Paris, and although I’m familiar with the city, there’s still so much to discover.
“I am like a tourist in Diorland. I have to study the heritage and archives, and I don’t even understand all the buildings. We speak three languages here — French, English, and Italian — so it’s always exciting to see another point of view, and in France there is this idea of couture that you feel everywhere.”
And the star has revealed she has yet to have a “specific routine” because she is still finding her feet.
She said: ” I walk to work every day, often through the Jardin du Luxembourg, across the street from my apartment. It’s really nice to wake up and stroll into the gardens. I can watch people run or read a book in a little café nearby.
“Normally I have a coffee outside at a café, but it’s too soon for me to have a specific routine because I am still exploring this company.”
Maria has revealed she has to start working on a fashion range for the French fashion house “two months” in advance, and she has to design in a “sophisticated way” to create innovative garments.
She explained: “I have to design in a sophisticated way to achieve what I want
“Dior is a big factor, and step-by-step we arrive at a collection. I start two months early because it’s like making a film: You have an idea, find the location, decide on the models, and test the different areas of craftsmanship. Each detail helps tell the story.”

Chris Hemsworth is obsessed with ‘board shorts’

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Hemsworth is obsessed with “board shorts”.
The 34-year-old actor has a “strange kind of addiction” to the swimwear item, and the Australian hunk has admitted he has always been “very particular” with what style of shorts he used to wear.
Speaking to The National Online, the ‘Thor’ star said: “My wife says I have more board shorts than most females have shoes. I have a strange kind of addiction to them.
“Growing up, I never thought about fashion too much. No, maybe that’s not true. I was very particular about what board shorts I wore, or what T-shirt.”
And Chris – who has five-year-old daughter India and three-year-old twins Tristan and Sasha with his spouse – thinks it is a “real luxury” he is able to wear “beautiful clothes” because of his job.
He continued: “But to be able to wear beautiful clothes because of my work is a real luxury.”
However, Chris “always” has to get his suits tailored to fit his muscular body.
He explained: “When it comes to suits, it’s got to be comfortable, so the material can’t be too heavy and stiff. It’s got to have enough strength to it that it doesn’t wrinkle up and get crumpled. I think it’s about having a great tailor. Because there are not many, if any, suits that fit me off the rack, I always have to have them tailored. I do like dressing up for an event or premiere, but at home, it’s board shorts, T-shirts and tank tops.”
Not only has ‘The Avengers’ heartthrob always been a fan of board shorts, but he has also been a regular customer at Hugo Boss, as the first fragrance he ever wore was Hugo Boss Man.
Chris – who is the brand ambassador for the labels new Boss Bottled scent – said: “This is not a line; this is the truth. The first fragrance I ever wore was given to me by my mum when I was 16, and it was by Hugo Boss. It was Hugo Man – the one with the green lid.”

And the movie icon has revealed her breakout made her feel “so self conscious”.
She added: “I just felt so seen and so self-conscious.”
Daisy is also not so complimentary of her personal style as she has likened her fashion sense to that of a “four-year-old boys”, although she has admitted she was always a “tomboy” when she was a child.
Speaking in Vogue’s 73 Questions video series, she said: “Usually [my style] is like a four-year-old boy. I was a little tomboy [with] insane amounts of energy.”
Daisy has revealed she has four tattoos, but her mother, Louise Fawkner-Corbett, dislikes the body art and wished she didn’t have any inkings on her body.
She explained: “I have four more than my mom probably wanted.”
But the ‘Murder on the Orient Express’ star has revealed she didn’t get the tattoos to “represent” any monumental moments in her life, but because she “really loves” looking at them.

Tracee Ellis Ross steals Diana Ross’ clothes

OHMYGOSSIP — Tracee Ellis Ross has stolen “a lot” of her mother Diana Ross’ clothes over the years.
The 44-year-old actress has admitted her and her 73-year-old parent have always worn “very similar sizes”, which is why she has borrowed a large amount of garments from the ‘I’m Coming Out’ music legend’s wardrobe ever since she was a teenager.
Speaking to PEOPLE, the ‘Black-ish’ star said: “I steal a lot out of her closet and have since I was in high school. Sadly for her, we’ve worn very similar sizes since I was in my teens. So I’ve been stealing stuff, including advice and a way of being from her for years.”
And the brunette beauty has revealed she has had the same fashion and beauty sense since she was in secondary school, which sees her opt for high waisted products and a statement red lipstick.
She explained: “I’ve been dressing the same way since I was in high school. I’ve always loved a high-waisted jean, a high-waisted pant, a high-waisted skirt and I’m still doing that.
“I’ve been wearing M.A.C Ruby Woo lipstick since I was in high school,”
Although Tracee feels “comfortable” in her skin, she has admitted she suddenly feels very “self conscious” when she attends a red carpet event.
She explained: “I’m comfortable in my skin, but red carpets [are] bizarre. I still get very self-conscious. I honestly need the help. When it’s me, for my life, I dress myself. But when I’m working, that’s not something I can handle and when you’re dressing for red carpet and pulling clothes — it’s just not possible.”
Tracee has collaborated with JCPenney on a collection, which will hit stores on November 12, and the star has created the line because she believes everyone should have “access to style” and “beautiful things”.
Speaking about the inspiration behind her latest line, she said: “One of the things I feel really strongly about is that everyone should have access to style, everyone should have access to beautiful things, everybody and all walks of life. So what I did was create a collection, but it’s more of a wardrobe. They’re all pieces that are not items that you’ll buy once and think, ‘Oh god, what am I going to do with that next year?’
“It all kind of was based around how I dress and how I pull myself together which has a lot to do with ease and comfort and feeling empowered and also joyful in my clothing. So there’s a lot of colour and sparkle and joy and pattern in everything.”

Blac Chyna only buys wigs from ‘one company’

OHMYGOSSIP — Blac Chyna will only ever buy her wigs from “one company”.
The 29-year-old American model has admitted she relies on hairstylist Kellon to make her new false hair pieces, and she will often request for the hair guru to make her “ten wigs” at a time when she is in urgent need of new pieces.
Speaking to Elle.com about her beauty demands, the television personality – who has four-year-old son King Cairo with Tyga and 11-month-old daughter Dream with her former partner Rob Kardashian – said: “There’s one hairstylist and one company. Kellon, he resides in Atlanta and he loves me so much, and he flies from Atlanta to come and do my hair. Even if I call him and I’m like ‘Kellon, I need ten wigs.’ He’s like, ‘Alright, when do you need it by? What do you need?’ and it always gets done, period.”
And the reality star has admitted Kellon will jet “back and forth” across the globe to accommodate her.
She added: “He flies back and forth and makes sure I’m good. We use a company called Kendra’s Boutique.”
And Chyna – whose real name is Angela Renée White – only has people around her who she is “really close” with and has worked with for a “long time”.
She explained: “[Kendra] is a good friend of mine. The people I have around me, we’re all really close and we worked together for a long time. I think I probably slid into both of their DMs. I had to pay [Kellon] a zillion dollars to get him out there and I’m like, ‘Once I get him out here, he’s going to follow me. We’re going to be best friends.'”
And Chyna has revealed she will select what wig to wear based on her mood.
She explained: “If I’m not in a good mood, I’m going to wear black hair. I’m not going to wear blonde hair. If I’m feeling feisty, I’m going to put on a red wig.
“It’s so funny because the days I do get dressed up, there’s nobody there to take pictures and the day I’m like, ‘I’m gonna put on a hoodie and run out with some slides and no wig,’ there they are to get me.”

Sir Paul Smith was a licensed taxi driver

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Paul Smith used to be a licensed taxi driver.
The 71-year-old designer set up his eponymous label in 1970, but he has admitted he has also had a very different career as he has completed “The Knowledge”, which is thorough training drivers undertake to get their licence, and worked as a taxi driver for “25 years” but “only” on the weekends.
Speaking about his other jobs to Esquire Online, the creative mastermind said: “Of course, when I did ‘The Knowledge’… I was a taxi driver for 25 years — but only at the weekend.”
But before Paul became a notable figure in the fashion business he had dreamed of being a professional racing cyclist until he suffered a major accident.
He added: “Well, I did anything that came along to earn money, which I think has given me the skill of doing lots of things. I was a racing cyclist from the age of 12 to 18 and you learn that you do have a competitive spirit and you learn about teamwork, which has helped me enormously having 180 people in this building. I don’t think I’m really competitive but I do have a survival instinct, which is, ‘Well, we’ll just work it out then.'”
But Paul believes his label is “very solid” and has withstood a number of difficulties over time.
Speaking about his brand, the businessman said: “I had my business when there was the coal miners’ strike in the Eighties and the three-day week, when you had to have a generator for the rest of the week. And I managed to always do well through these things. So, we’re not going anywhere incidentally, we’re very solid, it’s just you’re witnessing a time which is different to what you’ve witnessed before.”
And Paul has credited himself as a “pioneer” in the industry as he introduced additional products to his company, which encouraged other brands to follow suit.
He said: “The owners of both Colette in Paris and 10 Corso Como in Milan have both independently said that our way of running a shop was the influence for their shops, which was having not just clothes. So I suppose, without realising it, I was the absolute pioneer of all that, really.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Molly Sims thinks the fashion business is a “very hard industry”.
The 44-year-old model has revealed being involved in a career at the helm of the fashion industry is tough going, and people need to be “strong” and thick skinned if they want to be involved in the sector because it can “cut you down”.
Speaking at the AOL Build Series on Tuesday (10.10.17), which has been reported on the Mail Online, the blonde-haired beauty said: “It’s a very hard industry, I’m not going to lie. If they choose our industry I hope they have the moral [wherewithal] to be strong, because it does cut you down.”
And the style icon has revealed she has had to change “certain things”, including her diet, ahead of a big event, but she hopes her children Brooks, five, Scarlett, two, and nine-month-old son Grey – who she has with her husband Scott Stuber – never have to endure the same things she has had to go through.
She explained: “I have certain things with eating, or certain things … because I’m getting ready for something. All those limitations, I hope that my children don’t have to go to.”

Speaking to W Magazine Online, the brunette beauty – who has six-month-old daughter Lea with her partner Bradley Cooper – said: “I had just starting modelling, ten years ago, and I was very insecure about myself. To be in front of the camera wearing lingerie, it’s not easy no matter what size dress you wear. I was really insecure I didn’t know what to do.”
However, the catwalk icon’s partnership with the label Intimissimi has boosted her confidence and has made her feel “comfortable” with her body.
She added: “By working with Intimissimi, I learned how to move in front of the camera, how to be comfortable in my own skin. I learned about my body, and I learned about myself.
“They were the first lingerie brand that discovered me, back in Moscow.”
But Irina has drastically changed her outlook as she will happily wear her underwear on an evening out.
Speaking about her wardrobe choices, she said: “I think nowadays you can have lingerie and wear it as an evening dress, as a little gown with a cool jacket. I think you just have to have fun with it.”
Irina doesn’t think feeling sexy is about how a person looks, but on the “spiciness” of their personality.
She said: “It is not red lips, push-up bra and high-heels. It is some spiciness that you have inside. You can be sexy in conversation, you know? It is a charisma, it is part of your character–that what is really sexy to me.”

Speaking to W magazine, the blonde-haired beauty said: “Every Halloween I dress as a guy character because they are always the most fun. From day one, I never got the Halloween slutty costumes.

And the ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ star has revealed her favourite ensemble was when she dressed as James Franco’s character Alien from ‘Spring Breakers’.
The Australian beauty explained: “I did my hair in cornrows, put on a Hawaiian shirt and a gold grille on my teeth. I nailed it. I felt pretty cool.”
While Margot is dressing up as unconventional characters, her friends are turning to her for advice on how to perfect the costume she adorned in ‘Suicide Squad’, which saw her play The Joker’s lover Harley Quinn.
She explained: “A lot of my friends dressed up as Harley Quinn for Halloween. When they started texting me, ‘What did the tattoo on your right thigh say?’ I really thought they were taking the p**s. I was like, ‘Ha ha’. They wrote back, ‘No, seriously, we are dressing as Harley for Halloween!’
“I’ve always dressed up as guy characters, so to think that guys are now trying to take on Harley because she’s the coolest and craziest — that’s pretty awesome.”

She told Us Weekly: “We talked about it.”

Busy explained: “I think Michelle had always been curious about dyeing her hair.”
Busy also boasts pink locks, and she wasn’t afraid to experiment with her hair colour because she doesn’t think changing her hair to pink is “much of a commitment”.
She said: “The pink washes out so fast, so it’s not that much of a commitment.
“I think that’s why so many people are dyeing their hair now.
“It’s just a fun thing to do and it’s not going to ruin your hair or last forever.”
The ‘Manchester By The Sea’ star was meant to leave the dye on her tresses for 20 minutes, but her and Busy decided to cut down the suggested time advised so her hair to opt for a more subtle change.
Speaking at the time of the beauty session, Busy said: “You have to put it in for 20 minutes. I have it in my hand. It’s like pink slime. We will do it for like five minutes.”
However, Michelle wanted to slash the time the dye was meant to stay on her hair even more.
Michelle replied: “Three minutes, two minutes, honestly like after one minute we should stop.”
Busy compromised with Michelle and after massaging the product into “the little pixie’s hair”, they washed out the substance in “two minutes”.
As Busy slurped on a glass of wine, she said: “Guys, I am putting the pink in. I am massaging the pink into the little pixie’s hair. Michelle’s hair is going to be perfectly millennial pink. She is going to wash it out in two minutes and it is going to be amazing.”

Speaking about his fashion muses, David said: “I didn’t really look at fashion growing up.
“It changed. I suppose when I was young I was always looking at who we perceive as still the most iconic men, which was Steve McQueen, Paul Newman. And we still do, we are talking about 1960s and 50s and we are still calling those guys the most stylish men, when really they had nothing to do [with fashion], they weren’t going out to be stylish men, they didn’t have stylists or anything else, they were racing cars and on motorbikes and they were wearing utilitarian outfits that were the best outfits to race cars and to shoot films in.”

She explained: “I’ll put it on top of my cheeks, on my eyelids, down the center of my nose, and always on this bow of my lip because it makes the lips look fuller. Also a little bit on my chin. Sometimes if I’m wearing something strapless, I’ll take a little bit, mix it with my moisturizer, and put it on my collarbone. You can do everything with it–it has this nice gold feeling that makes it a good highlighter.”
