Allison Williams is ‘happy’ she is brunette agauin

OHMYGOSSIP — Allison Williams is “happy” she has dyed her hair brown again.
The 29-year-old actress has gone “back to [her] roots” as she has ditched her blonde locks and opted to go brunette again, and though she found having the lighter hair colour “fun”, she is glad she has returned to the darker shade.
Alongside a photograph of her with her brown tresses, which was posted on her Instagram account, she wrote: “Back to my roots. Blonde was fun, but I’ve got to say that I’m happy to be back. (sic).”
The ‘Girls’ star has revealed when she had lighter tresses she was constantly asked if she has more fun with blonde hair, but she has hinted the change in her appearance did not make an impact on her personality.
Speaking previously, she said: “I finally realised that when people [ask if blondes have more fun], they are hoping that I am more fun than I used to be, especially my friends and family, who are now like, ‘So are you a [personality] type B? Are you more chill and relaxed than you used to be?'”
Although Allison didn’t notice any difference in herself, she did find she was getting “more attention” from others.
She added: “You definitely get more attention. It’s so stupid.”
But the ‘Get Out’ beauty has admitted she takes extra care of her hair when she is asleep, as she lays her head on a satin pillowcase and wears a satin eye mask to make sure the elastic around the item does not “pull” her hair out.
Speaking previously about the extent she goes to to protect her locks, she said: “Not only do I have a satin pillowcase, I have a satin eye mask so the back of my eye mask doesn’t pull on my hair … and I sleep in, like, a bonnet. It’s very cute, my divorce is imminent.”

Selena Gomez thinks there are ‘no stupid ideas’ in the fashion business

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez thinks there are “no stupid ideas” in the fashion business.
The 25-year-old singer – who partnered with Coach and has released an accessories line with the label – believes there are “no stupid questions” or thoughts when working on a project in the fashion business.
Speaking to British Vogue, she said: “There is no stupid question, and there are no stupid ideas.”
And the ‘Kill Em With Kindness’ hitmaker believes everything can inspire a person to be creative.
She explained: “I think even the way something feels can inspire you, a song could inspire you to create something. Finding those moments for you to connect to your work.”
Although Selena has acknowledged it is easy for people to “compare” themselves to others, she encourages people to focus on themselves and on “what matters”.
She added: “And also, just keep your eyes on your work, it is easy to compare yourself but it’s important to stay true to what matters.”
And while Selena has urged people to ignore negative remarks, Coach’s head designer, Stuart Vevers, has admitted he does is best to make the musician feel her “best” in his creations at all times.
He said: “It’s really important for me that Selena feels like her best.”
And the 44-year-old creative mastermind wants his designs to have an “ease” to them and evoke a sense of “freedom” for the wearer.
He added: “I want [the dresses] to always have an ease to them: a sense of movement and freedom. Coach has a down-to-earth approach to luxury, which is different from the traditional European houses. I want to celebrate that ease; that New York City attitude.”

Rita Ora always eats the same meal for breakfast

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Ora eats salmon and egg whites “every morning without fail”.
The 27-year-old singer boasts a healthy eating plan, as she always starts the day with a piece of fish and eggs, which are either scrambled or boiled, although if they are scrambled she makes sure they are without the yolk.
Speaking about her diet to PEOPLE, the ‘Your Song’ hitmaker said: “I always have egg whites with salmon every morning without fail, I don’t eat anything else. Or I have like boiled eggs with salmon. I always have a bit of protein and I don’t have normal scrambled eggs, I do egg whites.”
The ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ actress – who portrays Mia Grey in the franchise – has revealed she also feasts on chicken and vegetables, which she washes down with “a lot” of juices or water.
She said: “And I just have like chicken, and vegetables and I drink a lot of juices and a lot of water.”
And the star is adamant she will not eat any carbohydrates or breads, and she has found a new love for cauliflower rice because it has “no carbs”.
She added: “I don’t have any breads.
“I’m not the best cook, but I definitely have my go-to meals. Right now I’m doing like chicken and cauliflower rice – cauliflower rice is my new discovery by the way because it’s like rice but with no carbs. That’s major.”
However, Rita does allow herself some carbohydrates and will compromise her eating regime by eating “half a sandwich” if needs be.
She said: “If I want a sandwich or whatever I’ll do like half a sandwich, take half of the bread off and do like an Italian open type of sandwich vibe.”
But Rita has admitted she has not always been so conscious about her food intake, as when she has been on tour she used to “binge” eat fast food.
She said: “I’ve done the whole binge thing. I’ve been on tour, ‘Stop at a fast food restaurant’ thing and it just does not feel good, like it feels good in the moment and then an hour later you’re like ‘Oh my god I feel sick’. And I don’t have time to get sick.”

Stefano Gabbana does not want to be called ‘gay’

OHMYGOSSIP — Stefano Gabbana does not want to be called “gay”.
The 55-year-old fashion designer – who makes one half of the creative duo Dolce and Gabbana alongside Domenico Dolce – has admitted he dislikes being identified by his “sexual choices”.
Speaking to Italy’s Corriere della Sera daily, the creative mastermind said: “I don’t want to be called gay, because I’m simply a man … full stop.
“The word ‘gay’ was invented by those who need to label people, and I don’t want to be identified by my sexual choices.”
And the mogul thinks associations to homosexuality are meant as a form of “defence”, which he dislikes because he doesn’t think his personal interests need protecting against.
He added: “They often serve as a defence, but I don’t want to be protected by anyone, because I’ve done nothing wrong”.
Gabbana founded the Italian fashion house in 1984 with his former lover Dolce, and though the pair split 20 years later they did not let their break up impact on their career in the fashion business.
And Gabbana revealed he hoped his label would help “spread a new culture”.
He explained: “I thought that I could help spread a new culture as a famous person, a culture no longer based on gay rights but on human rights. We are human beings before being gay, heterosexual or bisexual.”
Although Gabbana is open about his love interests and sexuality now, it took him a while to have the “courage” to speak out about it when he was younger.
He said: “I had known for a while, but I didn’t have the courage to admit it. Only through therapy did I realise that there had been clear signs in my childhood.
“I wanted to play alone … because I felt different from the other children and I feared that if we were together they would realise. And they would tell my mother.”

Gigi Hadid opens up about being trolled

OHMYGOSSIP — Gigi Hadid feels deflated when social media users slate her for an outfit.
The 22-year-old model has recently taken a social media break, and she has revealed when she receives a large amount of backlash for a “crazy” ensemble she has worn, which she originally felt “so excited to put on and made her “feel good” about herself, negatively impacts on her mood.
She told W magazine: “There’s times when I put something crazy on, and then I go on Twitter and everyone’s like, ‘What are you wearing?’ I’m like, ‘I felt so excited to put that on, and it made me feel good to walk out the door,’ and sometimes, like, you don’t wake up feeling like you want to get dressed and walk out the door, so if you put on something that makes you turn into that character or just be excited about looking in the mirror, it makes it more fun to go outside.”
But the star – who is currently dating singer Zayn Malik – finds it “frustrating” constantly being “judged” for her appearance.
She continued: “[I’m] trying to also understand that I will not ever be able to meet everyone in the world and prove myself to everyone in the world…[it’s] frustrating for me sometimes because I feel like I’m judged in a lot of ways online, and everyone is in that way.”
Although Gigi dislikes the negative comments and being trolled she has acknowledged such comments online are “just air” and are meaningless.
She said: “You prove yourself to the people that you have the opportunity to have a human connection with. Everyone else is there judging you. You can’t control that, and it’s okay, and you have to accept that you can’t control everything.
“It’s just air. Drama on social media is just air. I don’t know if it’s actually air, but you get what I’m saying. It floats in the cloud.”

Thandie Newton says her grey hair is her ‘badge of honour’

OHMYGOSSIP — Thandie Newton says her grey hair is her “badge of honour”.
The 45-year-old actress has admitted when she visits the hair salon and they try to yank out any silver strands of hair, she is furious and tells the hairdresser not to touch her tresses because she is proud of them and views them as a symbol of her “wisdom”.
Speaking to PEOPLE, the ‘Westworld’ star – who has Ripley, 17, Nico, 13, and Booker, three – said: “When I sit in a hairdresser’s chair, if a hairdresser goes to pull a grey, I’m like, ‘Whoa don’t you touch that!’ They just assume that I wouldn’t want that. But, this is my antenna to the greys out there! This is my wisdom, my badge of honour.”
And Thandie has admitted she wants to keep her grey hairs because they remind her time is “running out” and she needs to make the most of her life.
She continued: “And I want to see these greys so it reminds me every day that time is running out and that is something to celebrate; not to be afraid of.”
However, Thandie never used to be so at ease with the signs of ageing that she claimed to see when she used to replay episodes of her in the HBO thriller series.
She said: “I was watching the footage of ‘Westworld’ the end of the first season before it aired and I was like, ‘Ahh the shadows under my eyes! But Evan [Rachel Wood] looks blah, blah, blah!’ But then I was like, ‘Thandie, it’s because you got more years on you, of course.'”
But Thandie has since embraced her appearance, although she didn’t “allow [herself] to celebrate” her flaws when she was younger.
She said: “I didn’t allow myself to celebrate those shadows and lines because were all encouraged to say the same as we were at 20. But that’s not life.”

Maria Grazia Chiuri opens up about her debut Dior range

OHMYGOSSIP — Maria Grazia Chiuri wanted her first collection for Dior to address her “own personal vision of femininity”.
The 53-year-old fashion designer – who was appointed the creative director of the fashion house last year – released an empowering slogan T-shirt for the label’s Spring/Summer 2017 capsule, and she created the iconic garments because she wanted to “send a message” about her beliefs and make it clear what Dior’s “House rules” under her guiding will be.
Speaking about her debut line to Red magazine, she said: “First collections are always the ones you remember most.
“It was important to lay the groundwork, and I wanted to send a message that conveyed my interpretation of the House rules and my own personal vision of femininity.”
And the mogul has hailed her project as “an incredible experience”.
She continued: “It was an incredible experience, from the first time I delved into the archive right through to execution, which was done in perfect harmony with the Dior ateliers.”
Maria believes the line has captured the attention of people and had got “people thinking”, which was exactly what she intended to achieve.
She explained: “My work was that of a curator: pairing projects, skills and ideas to give shape to a collection capable of communicating a point of view. I think the collection got people thinking and that was precisely my intention. I have no regrets.”
And the star likes to “work a lot” with words because she enjoys seeing how they shape her psyche.
She said: “I work a lot with words. I like to see where they take me, how they shape my thinking and contribute to building my imagination. When I read Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, I understood that her words only needed a fresh forum to amplify them, spread them around and reach as many eyes – and minds – as possible.”
Maria also draws inspiration from artists, and the motivational stories of women.
She said: “I have a great curiosity, and I am inspired by the stories of women who have used their own lives to set the wheels of change in motion. Not only revolutionary women and activists in the open and direct sense, but also figures from Georgia O’Keeffe to Niki de Saint Phalle, who moved in the margins of culture, art and literature.”

Karlie Kloss wears ‘really colourful’ clothes over Christmas

OHMYGOSSIP — Karlie Kloss loves wearing “really colourful” clothes over Christmas.
The 25-year-old model has admitted she loves to wear garments in “jewel tones” over the festive period, or a “simple chic dress”, which she can accessorise with accessories or bold make-up, although she will have “simple” looking hair.
Speaking to ElleUK.com, she said: “I love to wear a really colourful dress with jewel tones. I like emerald green (it’s my eye colour), purple and blue. Or I’ll wear a silk slit dress with an oversized jacket on top or like a faux fur jacket on top and then crystals, something to kind of catch the light– really good statement pieces. But overall, I love a simple chic dress that I can wear with statement jewellery and a red lip or some sort of make-up look, either it’s going to be an eye or a look with simple, ‘nothing’ hair.”
And the Kode with Klossy founder has revealed she also loves wearing less glamorous piece such as a “comfy” sweater although she needs to “invest” in the perfect Christmas jumper before the big day.
She added: “I’m a big fan of a comfy sweater. I need to invest in a good Christmas jumper this year because I don’t have one.'”
The Chicago-born star gets all nostalgic this time of year, as she remembers when she was a child and her and her family would drive to the city to enjoy Christmas shopping and admire the window display.
Karlie said: “I remember growing up in St. Louis, we lived a couple hours’ drive from Chicago, so my whole family and I would pile into the car and drive to Chicago and have this fun holiday shopping adventure. We would walk by all of the store fronts.
“We didn’t quite make it to New York so Chicago was sort of the big city. We would see all of the windows and all the beautiful designs. And now, I like to do the same thing in New York. It’s a really magical time.”

Georgina Chapman to make major comeback at NYFW

OHMYGOSSIP — Georgina Chapman is set to showcase a new Marchesa collection at New York Fashion Week next year.
The 41-year-old designer has remained under the radar since the news broke earlier this year her estranged husband Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexually harassing multiple women, but the mogul is due to return to the fashion business to present her garments on the runway in February 2018.
According to the New York Post’s Page Six Column, the businesswoman’s – who has seven-year-old daughter India and four-year-old son Dashiell – catwalk show will take place on the final day of the annual fashion extravaganza on February 14 at 4pm.
Georgina’s showcase will come almost one year after her last fashion show, which saw her present her creations in New York during Bridal Fashion Week.
Despite the scandal surrounding the 65-year-old disgraced film mogul, Georgina and her business partner, Keren Craig, have received support from their customers, including Meghan McCain who insisted she will still wear a Marchesa gown on her wedding day, so the pair are not “punished” for Harvey’s “disgusting behaviour”.
Speaking previously Meghan said: “The scandal erupted and everybody was like, are you going to keep the dress? And I was like why should the two women designers be punished for a man’s disgusting behaviour. I just didn’t want to feel like the people who had worked there and make their livelihood should be punished as well.”
And Alyssa Milano has hailed Georgina as an “amazing woman”, who is still “very sad” about the entire ordeal.
Speaking previously, the 44-year-old actress said: “Georgina is doing very well. She’s an amazing mother. She’s an amazing woman, and I think her priority right now is focusing on how to raise those two children to the best of her capacity given the situation. She goes through very dark times. She’s very sad … This is not easy for her, but I have no doubt that not only will she come out on the other side of this, but she deserves too. She’s a good woman.”

Suki Waterhouse has stopped buying designer handbags

OHMYGOSSIP — Suki Waterhouse has had to stop buying designer handbags because she “trashes” them.
The 25-year-old model has admitted she has banned herself from splashing out on “expensive” accessories because she accidentally ruins them, and on one occasion she had to use her handbag as a “make-up palette” because her foundation had exploded everywhere.
The star told InStyle.co.uk: “I stopped buying expensive bags because I literally trash them. I once dropped a foundation on a date when I was 15 years old and it smashed everywhere. I was so worried about my skin because I had mad spots and not having foundation panicked me so much so I scooped it back into my bag and I used my bag as a make-up palette. I kept reaching in there – teen story!”
Suki set up her own label Pop & Suki with her friend Poppy Jamie in 2016, and the star has found creating her own company “so interesting” because the pair are often faced with a hurdle, but they believe overcoming those challenges have helped her to become “assertive”.
She said: “Having this brand is so interesting because when we face situations like that (with the male director) it’s like a new opportunity to push through and be assertive. It’s really taught me to tell people what I think which I didn’t tend to do throughout the rest of my life before.”
The ‘Bad Batch’ actress believes the key to a successful partnership when starting up a company is to “really think” about the person you join forces with for the project, as Suki has admitted she would not go into business with “any” of her other pals.
She continued: “I think you should really think about the friend you are going to go into business with. I wouldn’t go into business with any of my other friends – even ones I really love. We really compliment each other, Poppy has a lot of skills I don’t have. For instance I will say to Poppy, ‘do you have a town hall in Oxford shire where I want to do a party,’ and she will know it immediately. She knows absolutely everyone and makes them feel so special.”

Victoria Beckham has big plans for her label in 2018

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Beckham plans to put her “foot on the gas” with her label next year.
The 43-year-old fashion designer has revealed she has no plans to slow down in 2018, and she has revealed she has brought in more business partners to help her to achieve the things she has “always really dreamed” of doing with her eponymous label, which will see her add “new categories”, renovate the stores, and develop her beauty line as well.
Speaking to Vogue Online, the former Spice Girls band member – who was known as Posh Spice in the group – said: “I have brought partners into my business because up until about three weeks ago, the business was owned by myself, my husband and our business partner Simon Fuller. What we have done is going to enable to me to do a lot of things that I have always really dreamed of doing and I can really put my foot on the gas: new categories, more shop space. Really expanding on the beauty category, for example. Bigger collections and also trying to change things up a little bit.”
And the mogul has revealed she has “always” lived by the motto to “dream big”, and she is optimistic about what the future will hold as next year will mark her namesake brand’s 10-year anniversary.
She explained: “I like to be quite entrepreneurial about the way that I run this brand and think outside of the box and come up with new innovative, creative ideas. That excites me. There’s just so much I want to do. I always say it’s great to dream big and I genuinely mean that. So, who knows what will happen? And it’s my 10-year anniversary!
“I can’t believe that it’s been 10 years in September. I mean it has gone so quickly and I really have accomplished a lot with my honestly incredible team. They have given me so much and a lot of my team has been with me since the very beginning and we really have built something very special together. So, we’re excited to be celebrating that.”

Michael Kors’ brand is going cruelty free

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Kors is making his brand cruelty free.
The 58-year-old fashion designer, who launched his eponymous label in 1981, has announced he is “out of the fur business” and will no longer be using materials from animals in his creations.
Speaking about the changes to the fashion house, John Idol – who is the Chief Executive of Michael Kors – said: “We’re out of the fur business.”
According to the Business of Fashion, Michael made this decision after he recently met with the animal rights organisation People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), who have been urging brands to go cruelty free since the 1990s.
However, Michael is not scrapping the fluffy look entirely as he plans to find an alternative faux fur fabric to use in his merchandise.
In a statement, the company said: “Due to technological advances in fabrications, we now have the ability to create a luxe aesthetic using non-animal fur. We will showcase these new techniques in our upcoming runway show in February.”
But there is still another 12 months to go until the businessman entirely rules out fur from his garments, as the items will not be phased out until December 2018.
And not only is Michael’s namesake label opting out of using fur, Jimmy Choo, which Michael bought earlier this year, will also discontinue using the material.
And despite the change in the creative process, Michael “never” gets bored of designing, and he would never want to have another job because he is always kept on his toes creating new collections for his fashion house.
When previously asked about his dream job, the creative mastermind said: “The one I have. No day is ever the same, so I never get bored, which I love. That’s what has kept me going for the last 35 years.”

But in the meantime the documentary is set to compete in the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, which will take place next month on January 20 as part of the World Cinema Documentary Competition.
Vivienne has certainly made her mark in the fashion industry to the point Georgia May Jagger, who as hinted she is the mogul’s biggest fan and loyal customer, has banned herself from shopping in the star’s store because she buys “too much”.
Speaking previously, the 25-year-old model – who is the daughter of The Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger and his former partner Jerry Hall – said: “I like Vivienne Westwood but I’m not allowed in there any more because I buy too much”.

Michael Kors says Dame Helen Mirren has ‘great style’

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Kors has hailed Dame Helen Mirren and Tilda Swinton for having “great style”.
The 58-year-old fashion designer has revealed he admires the two actresses for a number of reasons, as not only does the mogul think the pair have fantastic fashion sense, but he also thinks they have “great taste” and “tonnes of talent”.
Asked about the stars he most admires to ES magazine, the entrepreneur said: “Where do I start? I mean, Dame Helen Mirren and Tilda Swinton are always on my list; they have great style, great taste and tonnes of talent.”
And Michael has admitted he is also a huge fan of Mark Rylance and Daniel Day-Lewis, as well as Bette Midler.
He continued: “Mark Rylance and Daniel Day-Lewis have unimaginable talent and remarkable range. And James Corden brings such joy to everything he does. He’s a treasure.
“Bette Midler has the talent, the energy, the heart and the charm all at once. Her Dolly Levi is one for the ages.”
Michael is often jetting across the globe to shoot campaigns and show off his creations in catwalk shows, and he has revealed he enjoys nothing more than “losing [himself] in theatre” and watching a show.
Asked about what he does in his free time, he said: “The greatest way to travel without getting on a plane is to lose yourself in theatre. I’m in Thailand with ‘Anna and the King’, New York with ‘Rent’, the American revolution with ‘Hamilton’. Theatre is travel — it transports you to another place and time.
“I think it’s a great way to recharge your batteries and find inspiration. I go at least once a week.”

Cardi B doesn’t like to wear accessories.

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B is “not big” on accessories, according to her stylist Kollin Carter.
The fashion guru started working with the 25-year-old rapper in the summer this year, but over the last few month’s Kollin swiftly learnt what the ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker – who is engaged to Migos’ Offset – likes to wear and what she doesn’t, which includes rings because her fingers are “really really small”.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan Online, the style expert said: “At the time, I had even kind of given up on celebrity [styling] but [Kollin’s PR friend] Ashley called me and she was just like, ‘I have someone for you. It’s Cardi B.’ This was before the single [‘Bodak Yellow’]. It was spring of 2017. [Styling Cardi] was different from who I worked with in the past, and who I [thought] I would take on as a muse for me. My first job with her was the cover of Fader, and it went great. We vibed, we connected.
“Cardi’s not big on accessories. She feels like things are on her. Because she’s such a big personality, I think sometimes she feels like adding anything, any other accent, can just come off as a lot.
“It’s mainly rings, though. Her fingers are really, really small, so they flip or they’re uncomfortable.”
And instead of layering on the jewellery, Kollin says Cardi’s intricately detailed finger nails and various hairstyles are her way of accessorising.
He added: ” Her hair is always interesting — it’s either super long or coloured — [and] her nails themselves are accessories, so sometimes it’s like less is more with her. But sometimes, I’m like, let’s gaud it up.”
But Kollin has revealed Cardi – whose full name is Belcalis Almanzar – has a great sense of style already, although at times she wants to look “a little more sexy”, which the stylist wants to steer away from.
He explained: “Cardi most definitely has a sense of style. She has her own vision, and I have mine. Sometimes I have to come in and say, ‘Let’s try something new, let’s step out of the box.’ But sometimes she does that with me, too. One of the key things I’ve learned, though, is only to pull things that I want to see her in. Because there may be things that I pull, and she’s like, ‘Oh my God, I love this.’ It’s her favourite thing on the rack and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, why did she go with this?’
“Cardi is a woman, and naturally she wants to be sexy. But if it was up to me, I feel like you can be sexy with a turtleneck on. Sometimes she’ll gravitate toward something a little more sexy than I would normally style. I try to sit back and just find that balance, because this is a woman with an amazing body, and she does want to show off her curves. There’s nothing wrong with that.”
