La La Anthony owns ‘every pair’ of Yeezys

OHMYGOSSIP — La La Anthony has “lost count” of the number of pairs of Yeezys she owns.
The 38-year-old star admitted her obsession with Kanye West’s footwear line is a “little crazy” but she’s thankful her friend, the rapper’s wife Kim Kardashian West always gives her the scoop on what’s coming next in the range.
She told People magazine: “I’m a sneakerhead, so I literally have every single pair of Yeezys.
“I lost count a long time ago.
“We always talk about [Yeezy] stuff. And then I’ll just see them at my house in a different colourwave, which is always cool. I have so many. It’s a little crazy.”
Kim is among the friends whose shoe collections the ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star admires, though she admits few people’s compare to her own.
She said: “I love Kim’s shoes. I also think Ciara and Kelly Rowland have some great shoes. But I have to be honest, my shoe closet is nothing to play with.”
But La La would love to raid Jennifer Lopez’s closet because she thinks the ‘Hustlers’ star can “do no wrong” in the style stakes.
She said: “I mean, who doesn’t want to raid Jennifer Lopez’s entire closet? She can absolutely do no wrong. So she’s definitely on my list.”
The ‘Two Can Play That Game’ star attended QVC’s 26th FFANY Shoes on Sale Gala last week to support Breast Cancer Awareness and was delighted to be involved in the “special” event, which marked QVC.com donating 80% of profits from the sale of over 70,000 pairs of shoes being donated to breast cancer research.
She said: “The gala is so special just because you’re supporting these women and showing that you’re there for them.
“I think it goes a lot further than people even know. Just walking around the room, you can feel the energy. It’s people honouring women that they’ve lost, the women who have survived and the women who are still fighting.”

Abbey Clancy’s safe style option

OHMYGOSSIP — Abbey Clancy feels “safer” wearing black.
The 33-year-old model – who has Sophia, eight, Liberty, four, Johnny, 21 months, and Jack, four months, with her husband and former England football star Peter Crouch – doesn’t wear a lot of colour and her new partywear range for Lipsy reflects a lot of her own personal preferences.
She said: “Obviously it’s party season so there’s a lot of glitz and glamour in this collection.
“There’s also a lot of black – my favourite colour.
“I just feel safer in my black items!
“We’ve done an amazing purple lurex dress. I shy away from colour quite a lot but these are more jewelled, muted tones, so it’s a different take on the black.”
Abbey’s daughter Sophia has also got involved with the new collection and is modelling the Sophia Crouch x Lipsy Girl range, to the delight of both the youngster and her mother.
Abbey told Britain’s OK! magazine: “Sophia is obsessed with clothes and dressing up and when I broached the idea with Lipsy they loved it.
“She’s a great age to do it and she’s telling all her friends from school.
“There’s so much bad stuff going on in the world I thought it would be a lovely thing to do.
“I love the collection, it’s so festive and there’s great occasion wear which would be good for a Christmas wedding or party.”
And Abbey was very “proud” of her daughter’s involvement.
She added: “I absolutely loved it. She was doing her own poses and I was really proud of her.
“Having four kids, sometimes it’s hard to give each one individual attention.
“It was nice to do something together that was totally dedicated to her and we can have the pictures to look back on forever.”

Elle Fanning to wear prom dress on red carpet

OHMYGOSSIP — Elle Fanning wants to wear her school prom dress on the red carpet.
The 21-year-old actress donned a vintage John Galliano gown to her 10th grade formal and hopes she’ll get the chance to wear it again some time soon.
Elle told InStyle magazine: “The first prom was in ninth grade. I wore a white Ralph Lauren dress that we found at the mall. It was long and flowy with a V-neck tank. For the second prom I went to the Paper Bag Princess and got a vintage bias-cut pink John Galliano dress.”
The ‘Maleficent: Mistress of Evil’ star explained her love for fashion prompted her career as an actress.
She said: “I love dressing up and playing characters. Growing up, my sister, Dakota, and I would do scenes but just for each other.
“I loved Samantha from ‘Bewitched’. I would put a Brownie uniform on for some reason and make tea. That was me playing Samantha.
“I also loved Alexa Chung and her ’60s tomboy style.”
Elle – who has been a face of Miu Miu since 2014 – previously admitted she loves working with the brand because of its “quirky edge” as she has always celebrated being “different”, regardless of what other people thought of her choices.
She said recently: “”I remember growing up, I would experiment with my fashion and at school I would be made fun of for it a little bit, just for being different and I still am that girl.
“Miu Miu is defiantly off beat and it is quirky in being feminine, but with an edge. She balances all the opposites at one time. [Miuccia Prada] knows what girls want and what women want. Her shapes are just so amazing and quite actually boyish in the way that she cuts pieces like coats … but then they’ll have something like a little chick on them.
“She keeps the fun. Mrs. Prada doesn’t take herself too seriously which is very important in art. Miu Miu is just the all-round perfect brand. I could wear all of it.”

Pharrell Williams’ fashion philosophy

OHMYGOSSIP — Pharrell Williams wears “what fits and looks right”, whether it was designed for men or women.
The 47-year-old producer is known for pushing the gender lines of fashion by adding gender-fluid elements to his wardrobe. He was spotted carrying a purple crocodile Birkin bag in 2007, and wearing a pastel Céline coat to a GQ shoot in 2017.
Speaking to America’s GQ magazine, Pharrell said: “It started with the “I can pull that off” thing. I wore a lot of Chanel, and I wore tons of Céline. Like, I got all the O.G. Céline. Because they were clothes I could fit in.
“When you listen to yourself and you’re comfortable in who you are, you wear what you feel like fits and looks right on you. And that’s it.”
Pharrell created an exclusive unisex capsule range for the prestigious French label alongside its late creative director Karl Lagerfeld.
However, although the ‘Happy’ hitmaker has been opting for womenswear before it became a ‘national conversation’, he has his own limits to his personal style.
He added: “I can’t wear no skirt. Nor am I interested in wearing a blouse. That’s not my deal. But things that are made for women that I feel will look good on me – that I like – I will wear.”
Meanwhile, Pharrell says he is not a gender-fluid advocate but believes there is “no rule” for fashion.
He said: “And when people start using religion as the reason someone shouldn’t wear something, I’m like, What are you talking about? There was no such thing as a bra or blouse in any of the old sacred texts. What are you talking about?
“I was also born in a different era, where the rules of the matrix at that time allowed a lot of things that would never fly today.”

Eva Mendes gets budge hair cuts

OHMYGOSSIP — Eva Mendes gets her hair cut at Supercuts.
The 45-year-old actress admitted she visits the budget chain “every once in a while” when her locks need a trip.
She shared a photo on Instagram of herself in a salon chair with the company name emblazoned on her protective cape and wrote: “”Ok this is a terrible angle but thought you guys would like to know that yea, I stop into @supercuts every once in awhile. Y que?! (and what?!).(sic)”
This isn’t the first time Eva has shown her eye for a bargain as the ‘Place Beyond the Pines’ star recently recalled the $15 dress she wore to her first-ever Toronto International Film Festival.
Alongside a photo from the event, she wrote on Instagram: “My first time at TIFF. No stylist. Dressed myself. This vintage dress cost me like $15. My own bag and jewelry.
“I wasn’t doing a “red carpet pose”. No I don’t long for that time, I just liked the simplicity of it all.(sic)”
Eva recently revealed she finds her young daughters, Esmeralda, five, and three-year-old Amada – who she has with partner Ryan Gosling – “inspiring”
because they have a sense of “freedom” that means they “don’t care” what other people think.
She said: “I find them so inspiring, because they just don’t care. They care, in the best way. They’ll just be like, ‘Can I wear socks on my hands today?’ And I’m like, ‘Yes, of course you can wear socks on your hands today.’ So we make that happen.
“Or they’ll get a Halloween costume that we have hanging out and they’ll wear that with pyjama pants and a headband, and it’s so cool. It’s just such a freedom.”

Olivier Rousteing praises Kylie Jenner

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivier Rousteing has a “beautiful relationship” with Kylie Jenner.
The Balmain creative director recently collaborated with the lip kit guru on a capsule cosmetics collection and named the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star artistic director of make-up for his spring 2020 show – which she ultimately missed due to illness – and he has praised his pal as a “strong” and confident woman who wants her friends to “feel good”.
He said: “She’s such a strong woman and I love the way that she’s so confident and always making sure that her friends are feeling good. And she’s so generous.
“When you do have problems, she will always be there for you. It’s a beautiful relationship.”
Olivier thinks fashion is currently a “bit boring” and he wants designers to up their game.
He told the Hollywood Reporter: “That last show was a celebration of beauty and joy at a moment of fashion which is a bit boring. I feel like we need to step it up…
“When it’s about my fashion shows, I want to make sure that people enjoy them and have a bit of light in their life.”
The French designer loves spending time in New York because of the city’s “energy”.
He said: “For me, New York is just [about] walking around the streets, because they have such a great energy. And I love spending time with my friends in the house and watching movies all night. I’m not really a party boy…
“[My visits to New York] are not often enough, and then only for a day or two.
“I am always in L.A. Again, I don’t stay long, but I have a lot of friends there.”

Pearl Lowe ‘accepts’ losing clothes to daughter Daisy

OHMYGOSSIP — Pearl Lowe has “accepted” her daughter will steal her clothes.
The 49-year-old designer often finds missing garments end up with Daisy Lowe or the 30-year-old model’s friends but she finds it flattering that the brunette beauty “appreciates” her sense of style.
Pearl said: “There’s a lot of borrowing that goes on between us. Usually Daisy taking things from my wardrobe.
“It used to drive me mad, but I’ve just accepted that when my new pair of Vivienne Westwood boots go missing they will be somewhere in the world on Daisy’s feet. I walked into a party once and saw her friend wearing the Miu Miu dress that I’d been searching for for months. But actually, it’s nice that your daughter appreciates your style.”
The duo have teamed up to front the Lowe Edit – a collection of eight bags for the party season – for handbag brand Radley and Daisy is already coveting the sparkling velvet carrier created in honour of her mother.
Daisy – whose eponymous bag has a crocodile texture – told Stella magazine: “They are incredibly classic and timeless with amazing attention to detail.
“I love mine because it is this beautiful barrel shape, but when I saw Mum’s velvet one I knew it’s something I would be borrowing – which is the point of the collection. They are bags you love to share.”
And the former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestant admitted her own home looks very much like her mother’s.
Speaking about Pearl’s interiors book, ‘Faded Glamour’, she said: “All the photos are from her house in Somerset, but if you came to my house, you’d see exactly the same sort of look [vintage boho]. I can’t help it, I grew up with it, I love it, it makes me feel comforted.”

Misha Nonoo’s wedding dress ‘challenge’

OHMYGOSSIP — Misha Nonoo found it “paralysing” designing her own wedding dress.
The fashion designer tied the knot with Michael Hess in Rome last month and she admitted having no restrictions on what her gown should look like made it more “challenging” than anything she had ever done.
Speaking before her wedding about her dress – a silk gown with long sleeves and a 10-metre silk tulle veil – she said: “Creating it has been so challenging, because there are no limits to what you can do with a wedding dress, so at times the choice has been almost paralysing. But I think I’m there now.”
The blonde beauty also admitted she often struggles when it comes to finding something to wear to other people’s weddings as she typically favours monochrome garments.
She laughed: “When you’ve got a wedding and you can’t wear black or white I really struggle.”
Misha has designed a white shirt as part of her friend Duchess Meghan’s capsule collection for the charity Smartworks – which helps disadvantaged women secure employment – and she was pleased her pal left the creative aspect of her contribution up to her.
She told You magazine: “The duchess isn’t a micro-manager, that’s not her personality at all. She asked what I was going to do and then said, ‘You nail out the design details.’ ”
As well as Misha’s shirt, Meghan – who is married to Prince Harry – asked John Lewis to contribute a tote bag, Jigsaw a trouser suit and Marks & Spencer a dress and for every item purchased, another is donated to the charity.
And Misha thinks the former actress came up with a “very clever” idea to help the charity, of which the duchess is patron.
She said: “What Meghan did was very clever. Smartworks had a lot of lilac blazers, which were lovely but weren’t really what these ladies needed – they weren’t the kind of staples to nail a job interview…
“It was very important for the duchess, from the get-go, that this was about a one-for-one model rather than making a financial donation, because that makes us all feel equal.
“Meghan said, ‘You may not know these women but every time you wear that shirt, those trousers, that dress, you can know that you’ve helped another woman.’ ”

Anna Wintour offers Met Gala tease

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Wintour has teased the 2020 Met Gala will have a “timeless” dress code.
The legendary Vogue editor is chairman of the annual fashion extravaganza – which this year had the theme Camp: Notes on Fashion – and though she can’t reveal too much about what’s in store for next year’s event as bosses at the Metropolitan Museum of Art would be furious, she did offer a hint about what’s in store.
Speaking with Donatella Versace at Vogue’s Forces of Fashion summit, the designer asked: “Can we just talk about the next one?”
Anna replied: “It’s under wraps, but I’ll just give you a clue, the dress code will be ‘timeless.’ And that’s all I can say, or the museum will excommunicate me.”
Elsewhere during the discussion, Donatella revealed Jennifer Lopez’s show-stopping moment at Versace’s spring 2020 presentation – where she walked in an updated version of her iconic jungle-print dress from 20 years earlier – was first thought of at this year’s Met Gala in May.
She said: “She was sitting at the end of the table. I took a look at her, and she looked so gorgeous and she was so sweet, and she hasn’t changed a bit since the first time.
“And I said, ‘Would you do it again?’ She said, ‘Why not, let me check my schedule.’ Then she came [to Milan], and everything was undercover.”
Anna hailed the ‘Hustlers’ star’s appearance as the “fashion event of the season, if not the year”.
She added: “It got a standing ovation, which is something you don’t often see in the bored world of fashion.”

Lily-Rose Depp enjoys ‘modern-day princess’ moments

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily-Rose Depp enjoys “modern-day princess” moments on the red carpet.
The 20-year-old star – who is the daughter of Hollywood actor Johnny Depp and French singer Vanessa Paradis – enjoyed dressing regally during her press tour for her latest film, ‘The King’, in which she plays 15th-century French princess Catherine of Valois.
When asked if playing Catherine has influenced her wardrobe, Lily-Rose told Miss Vogue: “It depends, because there are times when you want to draw from your character, and other moments when you want a total departure from it. I definitely allow myself my own modern-day princess moments.”
Her character dresses in powerful costumes to portray the events of the time period and she thinks the wardrobe team did a “beautiful job”.
She explained: “Jane Petrie, our costume designer, did a beautiful job. My costumes in the film are regal, but not luxurious. They reflect the state the country was in at the time. The French couldn’t be seen draping their princesses in diamonds when there was a war to be fought.”
However, the daughter of Hollywood royalty is no stranger to dazzling clothes.
At eight years old, Lily-Rose met the late Karl Lagerfield whilst her mother worked with the fashion designer and in 2015, she became the ambassador for Chanel and was the first to wear the SS20 collection to the London premiere.
And the ‘Yoga Hosers’ star admitted she’s never had a working relationship like the one she has with her “family” at the fashion house.
She said: “Chanel feels like a family in a way that no other working relationship ever has. I’ve known the whole team since I was little and to be able to work with them now is a huge point of pride for me. The work is great, but the people behind it make it really special — like Karl.”

Rihanna is her own muse

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna is her own “muse”.
The ‘Diamonds’ hitmaker insists it is vital that she wants to wear every piece from her Fenty maison range herself or it wouldn’t be authentic.
She said: “I’m not the face of my brand, but I am the muse, and my DNA has to run all the way through it.
“I don’t want anyone to pull up my website and think, Rihanna would never wear that.”
Rihanna drops her new collections as soon as they are ready and their eclectic styles mirror her own varies tastes.
She explained to Britain’s Vogue magazine: “It can be tomboy one day. It can be a gown the next. A skirt. A swimsuit.”
Though the 31-year-old star already had a relationship with LVMH as her Fenty Beauty range is backed by their own Kendo, she never expected chairman Bernard Arnault to invite her to create her own fashion line but jumped at the chance to take a “risk”.
She recalled: “I just thought, Really? Is he sure? Like, now?
“And then you’re left with this opportunity that’s a really big risk for everyone involved. But I’ve never been afraid to take risks. That’s the thing that got me out of my own way.
“I was like, ‘You’ve never been afraid to do anything or try anything, regardless of the outcome.’ So I accepted, and we went full steam ahead.”
Dior creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri has praised Rihanna for putting herself at the forefront of her fashion line.
She said: “[Fenty is] proposing a new and extremely modern approach to contemporary fashion.
“[Rihanna as her own muse] speaks to the increasing need for women to be in charge of their appearance, their bodies, and their lives.”

Kate Moss loves shopping at vintage stores

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Moss likes shopping at vintage stores.
The supermodel likes to pick pieces up from a wide variety of places, including vintage shops as she likes the idea that there is a “history” behind her clothes.
She said: “I always keep my eye out and try to visit vintage stores on my travels. I have found some great places that I return to whenever I can and have lots of favourites in London, too. I love the idea that the clothes have a history and have been worn previously. Who knows what they have experienced? Also, it’s good that clothes are recycled and worn again rather than being thrown out.”
And the 45-year-old model’s favourite vintage purchase was a pair of original Vivienne Westwood boots, which she purchased at Portobello market.
Asked what her best find was, she added: “My original Vivienne Westwood Sex boots I found at Portobello market in the 90s. I try to [keep everything], but as I wear the clothes out and about not all have survived.”
Kate has also offered tips for others wanting to do the same, encouraging them to head to charity shops to find a great bargain.
Talking about any tips she has for others who want to do the same, she told The Guardian newspaper: “I scan the rails really quickly then pull the pieces I am instantly drawn to before trying them on. Do you have any tips for shopping vintage on a budget? Head to the charity shops, you can still find brilliant pieces there if you are prepared to hunt around.”

Dua Lipa doesn’t wear much make up

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa tries not to wear make up.
The ‘New Rules’ hitmaker has revealed she tries to avoid putting too many products on her face, but when she does have to wear make up, it will only take her 15 minutes maximum.
She said: “I try not to wear make up on days I don’t have to, but if I do, it takes 15 minutes max. I stick to foundation or concealer, mascara, eyeshadow and bronzer and then I’m out the door. My most indulgent beauty habit is getting facials. In London, I go to a place called Pfeffer Sal every few months.”
The 24-year-old singer confesses electrolytes are her biggest beauty secret and says they’re perfect for travelling.
Asked what her beauty secret is, she said: “I keep sachets of electrolytes – they are great for when you’re travelling … The craziest thing I’ve done is microneedling. My skin felt sunburnt for two days but, by the third, I had really good ‘baby skin’. It lasted for a few days, but then went back to normal.”
Dua loves her eyebrows, and credits her amazing feature to her mum for stopping her from plucking them.
She shared: “When I look in the mirror I see good brows. They come from my dad’s side of the family, plus my mum never let me pluck them – even when they were growing to my eyelids!”
Despite being on the road all the time, Dua exercises five days a week and has a handy subscription to ensure she gets her exercise time in, wherever she is in the world.
She told elle.co.uk: “I exercise five days a week in the morning. When I’m touring, I use Class Pass, or it ends up being a 15-minute workout in my hotel room.”

Lila Grace Moss wants to show her real skin

OHMYGOSSIP — Lila Grace Moss thinks it’s “really important” to show her freckles.
The model – who is the daughter of supermodel Kate Moss – wants to show off her real skin and “enhance” her natural features and natural beauty.
She said: “I think it’s really important to show real skin, enhancing your natural features rather than make extreme changes … When I get a breakout, I use a drying lotion like Mario Badescu’s Drying Lotion, which is a great overnight fix. The Marc Jacobs Beauty Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick helps when I need a bit of coverage during the day. I like that it looks super natural on my skin.”
And the 17-year-old star has revealed her first ever make up purchase was a black kohl eyeliner when she was just 11-years-old.
She added: “The first product I ever bought was a black kohl eyeliner. It was for my 11th birthday party and my friend and I went shopping together to get it.”
Lila tries to keep her make up routine as simple as possible.
She told Refinery29: “I like to keep my day makeup simple. After moisturising with Youthquake Hydra-full Retexturizing Gel Crème Moisturizer, I use the O!Mega Bronzer to give my skin a natural glow. I always curl my lashes to open my eyes and then apply my Velvet Noir mascara to give a fuller, longer lash. At night, I like to add to my eyes with some eyeliner. In the Highliner collection, there is a great range of colours to choose from. If I am going bold on my eyes, I like to then balance that with a natural glossy lip, like the Enamored Hi Shine Lip Lacquer Lip Gloss in Sugar Sugar.”

Cardi B and Offset row over dress sense

OHMYGOSSIP — Cardi B and Offset row about who “dresses better”.
The ‘I Like It’ hitmaker has revealed her and her husband have arguments about who looks better but when they make appearances together, they try to coordinate their outfits so they look good when they step in front of the cameras on the red carpet.
She said: “His style is real hypebeast. It’s good hypebeast, but sometimes we disagree on certain things. We be going at each other because sometimes it’s like, who dressed better? It’s been getting a little intense but when an outfit is really good we give each other so many compliments. We’re each other’s biggest fans. And when it comes to the red carpet, there have been certain times that we don’t know, [don’t] communicate with each other, so when we’re together on the red carpet the outfits don’t look good. We started speaking more about it, like, ‘Hey, if I’m going to wear an extravagant outfit you should be really cut clean.’ If he’s going real extra, I’ll go real clean.”
And the 27-year-old rapper says it has become “a new hobby” dressing her daughter Kulture Kiari, 15 months, and described it as “dressing a doll”.
Speaking at the Forces of Fashion conference, she added: “It’s been my new hobby lately. When I shop, I usually put the outfits on my bed and spread them out and say this would look good with this type of coat, and now I’m not even doing it as much.
“I’m just doing it with her stuff, and I’m just waiting for these fur coats to come in. I’m going to be styling, but yeah it’s so fun. It’s like dressing a doll all over again.”
