The show will be made by Alfred Street Industries, which was set up by ‘Project Runway’ producers Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz earlier this year and they are delighted to have Rosie on board.

Kesha’s androgynous icons

OHMYGOSSIP — Kesha’s style icons are “androgynous”.
The ‘Raising Hell’ hitmaker usually looks to men for fashion and beauty inspiration, in particular her idol, the late David Bowie, though there are certain women she tries to emulate whens he wants a more “classic” look.
She said: “My style icons are androgynous…Men, almost more so than women. I really look to David Bowie for just about everything style and makeup-wise. I would always think, Would this make David Bowie proud? Would Iggy Pop wear this?
“But when you go more classic, Grace Jones, Twiggy, Brigitte Bardot. I just love anyone who’s not afraid of colour.”
The 32-year-old star has launched her own make-up line, Kesha Rose Beauty, and she’s keen for her consumers to use it “incorrectly” as it’s more “fun” that way.
She told Elle.com: “For this make-up line, I wanted to embrace a little more of my affinity towards colour.
“I’m putting out a make-up line and what’s ironic is that I want people to feel beautiful when they’re wearing it, but not from an external place. There’s so many colours and different ways to wear each product, that I just want people to play with it and use it incorrectly – because there is no correct way. And that’s always how I’ve had the most fun with make-up.”
Kesha is a big fan of all the products in her new range.
Asked her go-to item from the collection, she said: “Depends on what I’m doing. At the AMAs red carpet, I did a black smokey eye: Black eyeliner mixed with Tonight from the FTW shadow palette for just a classically great, fun cat-eye, smokey eye look.
“I love the That B*tch Lip Gloss because it’s moisturising. It smells good. It plumps your lips, and then it turns them a baby pink depending on the pH level of your skin.”

Barbara Palvin prefers natural make-up

OHMYGOSSIP — Barbara Palvin prefers the more “minimalistic” make-up look.
The Victoria’s Secret model wishes people wouldn’t “layer” their make-up so much and she much prefers the “natural” approach.
She said: “I wish people wouldn’t layer their make-up so much. Recently when you see all these make-up tutorials, it looks so thick! I like natural. You can still highlight the parts that you love about your face with very minimal make-up.”
And the 26-year-old model has confessed she “mimics” a lot of things from the make-up artists who work alongside her on photoshoots.
She added: “I mimic everything I’ve seen from make-up artists. I’m pretty damn good! I started modelling when I was 13, so everything I know is from artists. Something that changed my life is contouring, I learnt you should draw the number ‘3’ [and a back-to-front ‘3’ on the other side of the face], to shade your jawline, your cheeks, and your hairline around the forehead.”
And Barbara has confessed sometimes she has to tell her hair stylists and make-up artists little tricks about her routine to achieve the perfect look.
She told Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “Sometimes the stylist won’t know how my hair works. For example, when I want to do a messy bun, I have to be careful of the placement, because around my temples I have very fair hair and the camera flash can bleach it out so you can’t see it. It looks like I have no hair there, but it’s just very blonde. It’s the same with the skin, if the make-up artist doesn’t use the right foundation then my skin can look very transparent and you can see all the veins and wrinkles! My skin feels very dry right now from flying.”

Ashley Graham’s pregnancy beauty routine

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Graham has taken things out of her beauty routine since becoming pregnant.
The plus size model has revealed the changes she has made to her daily beauty routine since she found out she was expecting her first child.
She said: “I haven’t really changed my routine since I’ve become pregnant, I’ve just taken things out.”
And the 32-year-old model relies on eye masks and three-times daily moisturising.
She added: “Most pregnant women in their third trimester don’t sleep. And I’m one of them. You know, you see all these people rolling all the time, you [wonder] why they’re rolling. When you’re pregnant, you get puffy! …
“[The moisturising] is a commitment. But are you committed to having supple skin? Because I am!”
Ashley does still wear make up but insists she’s not doing it to “cover” anything up.
She said: “I’m not really trying to cover anything up, I’m just trying to make my skin tone even. I mean, the pregnancy glow is there, I can see it.”
Ashley says pregnancy is “different” for everyone but she urged people to look to other moms and for support and she relies on them to make her feel less “alone”.
She told Vogue.com: “Every pregnancy is different. Find pregnant friends, find mommies that have already done it, and you will feel so incredibly supported.
“You are not alone, and those moments where you feel like you are alone, just remember we are all out here doing this, and we need each other.”

Kesha inspired by the rainbow

OHMYGOSSIP — Kesha used a lot of bright colours in her new make-up range because colour symbolises “hope, happiness and joy”.
The ‘Tik Tok’ hitmaker has just unveiled her new beauty range and has revealed why she was inspired by all colours of the rainbow.
She said: “With my last album, ‘Rainbow’, the lyrics are ‘I used to live in the darkness, and I found a rainbow’. I wanted to represent that physically with the makeup I made, too. Colour symbolises hope, living in happiness and joy and self-acceptance and all the good things. And it also happens to be a symbol for the LGBTQ community …
“I hope that my makeup line is something people can really have fun with. I love when I see people not conforming to some ideal that society has set up.”
Kesha has been very experimental with her own beauty choices and wants to show people they can be “sexy” whatever or whoever they are.
She shared: “I’ve bedazzled my face, I’ve drawn rainbows on my face, I have stuck on adhesives that were meant for horror movies just so it would stay on for the whole show …
“I think it’s really important for people to know that you can be sexy at any size, with any colour hair, any colour skin, any sexuality, any gender preference, and I want to challenge that in myself. I want to practice what I preach.”
Kesha has also been experimental with her hair colour and changing it from her trademark blonde has helped her “redefine” herself.
She told Allure magazine: “Historically, I was very attached to my blonde hair. It was a part of my identity. So colouring it and chopping it off has helped me redefine what makes me feel beautiful and sexy and powerful and all the things that I feel, and it’s not on any physical attribute.”

Naomi Campbell won’t touch her eyebrows

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Campbell won’t touch her own eyebrows.
The 49-year-old supermodel only will let one person work on her brows and she admits she doesn’t even trust herself to do it.
She said: “The one thing I cannot do is eyebrows … As long as my eyebrows are done by the one and only Anastasia [Anastasia Beverly Hills founder, Anastasia Soare]. She’s the only person I let touch my eyebrows in the world. As long they’re done, then I can do the other stuff.”
Meanwhile, Naomi previously revealed she doesn’t think she is an icon.
She said: “It’s an honour to be called it, it is. I don’t think of myself as an icon but I respect and am very honoured to receive and blessed that they consider me to be one. Does it come with age and how many years? Possibly, right? So is the word icon associated with age? Is it? Is it for longevity? … I’m not trying to compete with anybody, I just like what I do and I don’t do the same thing every day so it’s a bit of a mix-up and I like it that way.”
Naomi had previously admitted that whilst she has been in the industry for several decades, but says she’s never had a “strategy” when it comes to her work, and says her biggest tip is just to make sure people “take time out” for themselves and do the things they want to do.
She added: “I don’t have a strategy. I would work, and then I would not work. You’d see me, and then I’d disappear and do something else and come back.
“That’s how I’ve basically kept … That’s been the way of my path. I would never quit, I would just take time out. And I think you have to take time out for yourself in life, period, you have to go and do the things you want to do.”

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will always be grateful to Victoria’s Secret

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will always be grateful to Victoria’s Secret for making her an Angel because it helped her launch her acting career.
The stunning 32-year-old star was signed by the lingerie brand in early 2006 and became one of their main models, known as Angels, in 2010 and she went on to walk in five shows before departing the company in 2011.
Rosie – who created her own signature underwear line Rosie for Autograph with British high street retailer Marks and Spencer in 2012 – always dreamed of working for Victoria’s Secret and she cherishes her time with the brand because it increased her profile and led to her being cast in blockbuster ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’.
Speaking to Ashley Graham on her ‘Pretty Big Deal’ podcast, she said: “I walked five shows, I worked for VS for about five years and it was a dream come true. I had an American boyfriend for a little bit and we were walking down Broadway and you know the big store on Broadway, and he said, ‘That’s what you wanna do. That’s Adriana (Lima) and that’s Gisele.’ and I thought, ‘Yeah, that is. That is amazing, like that is the best of the best to be part of that company.’ Luckily, I had years of doing catalogue and years of doing lingerie … I was just always very very proud to work with them at that time.
“Victoria’s Secret had led me to ‘Transformers’, which was my first film. It was an opportunity of a lifetime.”
However, Rosie – who is in a relationship with actor Jason Statham – admits she doesn’t feel as passionate about acting as she does about some of her other work.
She said: “I’m glad I did it but I feel that it was something I’m really lucky that I got to try my hand at but I never felt a passion for it in the same way I feel a passion for other things in my life.”

Stella McCartney becomes first designer to cover Vogue

OHMYGOSSIP — Stella McCartney has become the first designer to appear on the cover of Vogue US.
The fashion bible has announced that the January 2020 issue has four different covers and the first one has been unveiled on social media which features British designer Stella and her four children – Miller, 14, Bailey, 12, Beckett, 11, and Reiley, nine.
Stella, 48, shared the historic cover on her own Instagram account and wrote: “2020 here we come! I am so honoured to be the first fashion designer ever on the cover of @VogueMagazine
“I celebrate my incredible team as this is born out of the commitment we have held in our hearts from day one at Stella, caring and trying our best to be mindful in our business to protect Mother Earth and all its creatures. Thank you, American vogue for sending out this loud message that you are on board and that this can be the future of fashion.”
For the cover and accompanying shoot, which was photographed by Annie Leibovitz, Stella and her kids – who she has with her husband Alasdhair Willis – are all dressed in clothes from her self-titled label.
In the accompanying interview, Stella spills on what her life is like as a mother and the head of major fashion house, admitting she has to get up “super early” to fit everything in.
Stella – who is the daughter of Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney – said: “I start at 6:30am, and by the time I get to work [by bicycle], I feel like I’m literally done for the day. I’m a big hot sweaty mess, too.
“It’s just so difficult being in fashion, isn’t it? We have to pretend to be so perfect. I’m the one that comes in with a punk-rock kind of ‘f**k this perfection.’ It’s not maintainable, it’s not wise, and it’s very old-fashioned. So there you go.
“When you’ve got a job and you’ve got kids it’s when you get to see them, and you have to wake up super early and engage in that moment. Then I try and squeeze in some exercise, and then I go to work. And I try and get back for the book-ending of being a mum.”

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley signed with M+S because of impressive stats

OHMYGOSSIP — Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has admitted she only signed with Marks & Spencer because of their incredible statistics.
The 32-year-old model became one of the highest-paid models in the world following her lingerie collaboration Rosie for Autograph with the high street retailer in 2012.
Speaking to Ashley Graham on her ‘Pretty Big Deal’ podcast, Rosie said: “I signed with Marks & Spencer, the face of women’s wear, about eight years ago.
“As a young model, I always had done a lot of lingerie shoots and I decided to walk away from Victoria’s Secret when I was 24 because I knew I wanted to have my own line.
“I kind of reached the ceiling for where I could go with VS and things shifted at the company.
“I felt like it was time for me to branch off and do my own thing.”
However, she would never have suggested a partnership with the M&S if it wasn’t for their impressive statistics.
She explained: “I started to do a little bit of research on Marks & Spencer, and what I very quickly learnt was they are by the far the most dominate lingerie retailer in the UK.
“They own a third of the lingerie market in the UK.
“The statistic is that one in three women is wearing a Marks and Spencer bra at any time.”
She continued: “I think then there’s a funny statistic that’s one in three women are wearing a Marks and Spencer bra and then one in three is wearing a Rosie bra, which is kinda cool.
“So, I did this research and I very boldly went to the board at Marks and Spencer and said, ‘Would you be interested in doing a collaboration with me?’ and they said, ‘Yes, let’s do it. Let’s start it small, we don’t know if it will go anywhere this season. We’ll just keep it really small.'”
The ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ star went on to revolutionise the company with her brand expanding to a range of clothing items and beauty products.
Rosie added: “I think at the time they just wanted to have my face on lingerie, so it was an opportunity to do that. It’s grown into sleep wear. We dabbled into active wear, swimwear, fragrance, beauty, and lounge wear and so it’s its own brand.”

Billy Porter has never thought about defining his red carpet style

OHMYGOSSIP — Billy Porter has never thought about defining his red carpet style.
The 50-year-old actor turned heads this year when he landed on the best dressed list for his ensemble of a jewelled Randi Rahm couture suit with a bold pink train, and he later made jaws drop with a Cleopatra-themed look with wings at the Met Gala.
And the award-winning star has hailed his style “undefinable and unpredictable”.
Speaking to WWD, Billy said: “That’s a really interesting question. I’ve never really thought about defining it.
“I would say it’s undefinable.
“I don’t even know what it is sometimes.
“I’m putting one foot in front of the other and I am trying to be as true and as honest to what I feel I want to do at any given time, so unpredictable.”
Instead, Billy puts his outfits together by defining the event and creating a deeper meaning with his style.
He added: “We decide by first trying to define what the moment is. What the event is about and then we go from there.
“I’m a very story-oriented person coming from being an actor, so I always try to have a narrative for myself so that there is always a reason and there’s always a point. I want to be a walking piece of art – political art – whenever I can, any time I show up.”
The ‘Noel’ star added how this year made him realise how it’s possible to change people’s “hearts and minds” through “powerful messaging” in fashion.
Billy continued: “I feel like messaging can come in many different forms.
“We as artists have the power to change the molecular structure inside of people and change their hearts and minds.
“Fashion is art and fashion can make that change, and I always knew it.
“I always felt it, but this year has really solidified that for me.”
However, despite his headline-making sense of style, the ‘Pose’ star doesn’t refer to himself as a fashion icon.
Instead, Billy allows the experts to call him an icon until he feels ready to take on the title himself.
He confessed: “I let other people say that about me. You know, show business is hard because you borderline on confidence and arrogance, so I’m trying to be on the confidence side. I’m going to let other people call me a fashion icon at least for the next couple of years and then I’ll do it myself. But that’s what people are saying.”

Karlie Kloss weighs in on Victoria’s Secret Fashion show cancellation

OHMYGOSSIP — Karlie Kloss says the cancellation of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is “a reflection of the world today”.
The 27-year-old supermodel – who left the luxury lingerie brand in 2015 after working with them for four years – has admitted she believes the Bosses at L Brands, the parent company of the label, were best not to host the annual catwalk extravaganza this year, because “consumers demand that brands are inclusive and body positive”.
Appearing on ‘Today’, she said: “I think it’s a reflection of the world we live in today. And, you know, consumers demand that brands are inclusive and body positive and sustainable. And I think brands have to evolve.”
Karlie switched the catwalk for TV as she went on to host ‘Project Runway’ after Heidi Klum stepped down from her role on the show, and she admitted it has made her “a lot more confident”.
She added: “This has been a great new role being the host of ‘Project Runway’ and this is my second time doing it.
“And I feel a lot more confident … For me, I was new to get, you know, used to it from being on the runway to being the host of ‘Project Runway’. And I have had so much fun.”
On her decision to retire her VS Angel wings after two years, the blonde beauty previously explained: “The reason I decided to stop working with Victoria’s Secret was I didn’t feel it was an image that was truly reflective of who I am and the kind of message I want to send to young women around the world about what it means to be beautiful.
“I think that was a pivotal moment in me stepping into my power as a feminist, being able to make my own choices and my own narrative, whether through the companies I choose to work with, or through the image I put out to the world.”
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show featured top models such as Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Elsa Hosk, and Bella and Gigi Hadid participated in recent events, and pop stars to perform have included Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, Selena Gomez and Lady Gaga.
Meanwhile, Victoria’s Secret hired its first transgender model this year.
After causing controversy in 2018 when chief marketing officer Ed Razek claimed trans women were not part of the label’s “fantasy”, Brazilian model Valentina Sampaio was unveiled as the newest addition to the company’s roster.

Selena Gomez’s AMAs gown had a deeper meaning

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez’s lime green dress which she wore on the American Music Awards red carpet had a deeper meaning.
The ‘Look At Her Now’ hitmaker’s stylist Katie Young has revealed they opted for the bright Versace number at the star-studded ceremony last month to signal a “bright and positive new chapter” for the pop superstar.
Katie told The Hollywood Reporter: “You know, that look, we tried on when she was in New York doing press for her singles and we just all really liked it.
“I love Selena in a bright-coloured, tiny little dress where you see she’s got gorgeous skin and beautiful legs, and I always want to see her face and her shoulders.
“I think this is a moment about coming out, stepping into a new era – and I wanted her to be bright and positive and a woman.”
Selena’s performance at the awards show was her first televised performance in two years, following her kidney transplant as part of her battle with lupus.
The 27-year-old singer took to Instagram to thank her fans for sticking by her side over the past few years, as she said it felt “good to be back”, whilst she admitted she was “excited for this chapter”.
She wrote: “Feels good to be back. Thank you to my entire team and to my fans that stand by me. All of this is for you and because of you. excited for this chapter.”
Meanwhile, Katie revealed that for her other A-list client, Margot Robbie, she always makes sure to dress her in ensembles that make her look “like herself” when she is off-screen.
On dressing the ‘Once Upon a Time In Hollywood’ star, she said: “I think Sharon Tate [Margot’s real-life character] is always an iconic reference, but we kind of did that and I think for awards season more than anything, I want her to be Margot.
“If Margot is going to win an award, I want her to look like herself. You know?”
The stylist added how it’s always a “collaboration” between herself and the star when it comes to picking outfits.
She said: “I don’t choose them. It’s always a collaboration
“I hope that it’s true that my clients don’t look the same.
“I want them always to look like themselves.
“Just sort of a little bit of a curated fashion-y version of themselves.
“I think the point of my job really is to make their lives easy. “Doing press, doing interviews, being on camera, it makes everyone nervous.
“Whether you’re an actor or not, it’s an uncomfortable meta situation, and if you feel cute it takes a little bit of that nervousness away.
“So, my goal is to always make them feel really confident

The ‘Black-ish’ star showed she had every right to host the fashionable evening as she wowed with a series of different looks across the ceremony and on the red carpet.
Taking to the red carpet, Tracee wore a Loewe white handkerchief dress, which is taken from Jonathan Anderson’s spring/summer 2020 collection, and accessorised with a stunning beaded collar.
It was then on to the show and Tracee opened in a multicoloured cape dress with bold floral prints, designed by Richard Quinn. The gown was completed with a neckline and cuffs embroidered with Swarovski crystals.
Her third outfit was the most bold of them all. Tracee opted for a black and green Erdem gown, complete with a matching wide-brimmed hat. Popular with the royals, the Erdem brand is owned by Canadian and Turkish fashion designer, Erdem Moralioglu.
