The model showed off her figure at the annual event at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Monday (02.12.19) in a custom made floor length gold Bottega Veneta gown, designed for her specifically by its Creative Director – and multiple award winner – Daniel Lee.

‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’ star Lily James also impressed with a floor length white gown, which featured a large statement gold bow.
Emilia Clarke wore a bold yellow Schiaparelli gown, with long taffeta sleeves that acted as a large train, whilst Rita Ora perfected the monochrome look in a custom 16Arlington gown, giving a pop of colour with her bright blue eye make up. Alexa Chung wore her own design, a black sequin sparkly number, whilst Donatella Versace wore her own bright pink sequined design.
There was also a number of red carpet successes for the winners of the night, including Rihanna, who stunned in a mint green satin dress and a matching shawl, which was completed with a string of sparkling diamonds running across her back and also as a choker around her neck. Naomi Campbell – who picked up the Fashion Icon prize – wore a daring and ornate silver sequined and mesh halter neck gown, showing off her incredible figure and why she was certainly worthy of icon status.

Camila Morrone ashamed of model past

OHMYGOSSIP — Camila Morrone used to be ashamed of her past career as a model.
The 22-year-old actress revealed she tried to hide her previous career when she first started acting because she didn’t want to be seen as “too sexy for a role”.
Camila told The Los Angeles Times: “I felt so ashamed of my modeling history when I first got into acting, so I tried to hide that part of my life, because I didn’t want to be looked at as too sexy for a role. I’ve heard, ‘Oh, she’s not homey-looking,’ or ‘too voluptuous’ or – I don’t want to say sexy, because then I sound like I think of myself that way – which I don’t – but that’s oftentimes it.”
Camila moved to New York to work as a model when she was a teenager but admitted she didn’t enjoy it as she was pressured to lose weight, and “forced to network with these people and sell a part of my soul to them”.
Camila is currently starring in indie ‘Mickey and the Bear’ and when she flew out to Montana to audition for the role, director Annabelle Attanasio was shocked by how at how ordinary she looked.
Annabelle said: “I wanted to see her in the environment, and I told her to dress as the character. And when she walked through the door, she really was Mickey. There was nothing glamorous about her. She reminded me of one of my younger sister’s friends.”
Her co-star James Badge Dale added: “Montana Cami is very different from Los Angeles Cami. When we’re all hanging out in L.A., everyone is getting dressed up, and in Montana, she’d be rolling around in a sweatshirt and Carhartts. When I heard she’d flown herself out to Montana to read, I thought, ‘How brave.’ It’s brave to do that, because in this world we live in, most of the time, the answer is ‘no’.”

Tommy Hilfiger feels ‘lucky’ to have worked with Zendaya

OHMYGOSSIP — Tommy Hilfiger feels “lucky” to have collaborated with Zendaya.
The 68-year-old designer worked with Zendaya, 23, on her debut collection for his brand in March and they followed up with a second drop in September and Tommy is happy that they snapped her up before her role in critically acclaimed TV show ‘Euphoria’ helped her profile to skyrocket.
He told Footwear News: “When she started collaborating with us, we thought, ‘OK, this is great. She’s a TV star, she’s a movie star, she’s a musician’. But what we didn’t know was that she was going to come out with a new show called ‘Euphoria’ that was going to skyrocket. I think that it was maybe luck that we engaged with her at that time.
Tommy also believes the young actress is mature “beyond her years” and he praised her for being “very present”.
He said: “She said, ‘Yeah, I think like a 70-year-old’. And I really believe that because she’s so in tune with life. She’s very, very present, and she’s very aware of everything that’s going on around her.”
And Tommy says his brand has always been influenced by the “music fashion revolution” and he believes it is important to develop a link between musicians and pop culture.
He said: “I really thought that if the musicians who were relevant were wearing my clothes, their fan base would come to us. In a sense, that was social media back then. When Britney Spears was on tour or Jennifer Lopez was playing at a stadium or doing a concert wearing my clothes, their fans would then come to my brand.”

Laverne Cox: ‘I live in wigs’

OHMYGOSSIP — Laverne Cox “lives in wigs”.
The ‘Orange Is The New Black’ actress loves to experiment with a variety of hair pieces and says she usually keeps her natural hair in cornrows for easy maintenance.
She told Refinery29: “I live in wigs, and having a product to take care of my wigs is essential. I’ve recently committed to oiling my scalp daily. I keep coconut oil next to my toothbrush, so I brush, floss, and get it done.”
Laverne, 47, also revealed that she used to be afraid to stand out but now she loves to try different looks and styles.
She said: “For many years, I would hide parts of myself. I would think that no one wanted to hear, see, or experience certain parts of who I am in fear of being rejected, but now I am at a point in my life where I want to embrace every shade of the Laverne rainbow.”
The star is working with hair brand Matrix and praised the company for hiring her as its first openly transgender ambassador.
She said: “I haven’t even been able to process my excitement for this partnership fully,” . I love that the brand truly has something for everyone. That’s so important to me.
“When you decide to hire Laverne Cox as your brand ambassador, you’re making a statement about inclusivity. You’re making a statement about inviting everyone to the table, which – honestly – is just good business.
“Whether you’re Black, trans, or have 4C curls, I just want people to know that they’re beautiful. I think I am beautiful because of my big hands, my big feet, and my deep voice, although they do make me noticeably trans. At the end of the day, you have to embrace what you’ve got.”

Giorgio Armani: ‘I can’t be replaced by just one person’

OHMYGOSSIP — Giorgio Armani doesn’t believe just one person is capable of replacing him.
The 85-year-old fashion designer shows no signs of retiring and says when it comes to eventually choosing a successor for him, he thinks it will take more than one person.
He told The Guardian newspaper: “I don’t think one person will work – I think it’s somebody on fashion, somebody on commercial, someone on financial.
“Obviously, nowadays, it’s my decision what will happen, but when I won’t be here anymore they will decide what’s best.
“It’s my first thought every morning. It’s not a nice feeling. But you have to be strong. The company has to go on, aside from my person. But I don’t see the alter ego of Armani out there. I also think it’s not fashionable any more. Now companies are done by good people working together. Once upon a time, there was a big boss. Maybe the future won’t be like that.”
Meanwhile, Giorgio also admitted he is worried about sustainability but does not have a complete solution.
He said: “I am obviously aligned. We are all desperately, us in fashion, trying to find solutions, [trying to] provide something that is more sustainable, with every moment.
“My values have always been in a way sustainable – I’ve never done things to be thrown away after one season. I’d love for us all to slow down the cycle of collections, and produce less, but of better quality. It seems that designers are locked into a system of renewal that, for me, often seems arbitrary.”

Tracee Ellis Ross’ outfits must make her ‘heart sing’

OHMYGOSSIP — Tracee Ellis Ross’ red carpet outfits must make her “heart sing”.
The 47-year-old actress loves being able to be “creative” with her fashion choices and she works closely with her stylist to achieve the perfect look.
She said: “I’m partnered with a joyous stylist, Karla Welch. When I have an event coming up, I’ll send her inspiration pictures or we’ll come up with a theme, but mostly I just wear what makes my heart sing. Clothing for me started out as armour and now it’s truly a form of creative expression.”
Tracee recently released her own range of hair-care products and admitted the whole thing was 30 years in the making.
She added: “Pattern was 20 years in the dreaming and 10 years in the making. When I first started wearing my hair naturally I, like so many other black women, just let my hair do what it wanted. Then I went through phases of getting it blown out and chemically relaxing it. It’s such a regular experience for most of us, particularly because we had a culture of beauty that didn’t make space for us. The beauty industry did not see this demographic of people, with curly, coily and tight-textured hair, as a viable or lucrative part of the industry. The products we needed didn’t exist and I spent so much time in my own bathroom cocktailing things together.”
And Tracee would love to make her new venture into a beauty empire.
Asked if it could be the start of a beauty empire, she told Vogue magazine: “Absolutely! I’m a beauty lover, I love running a business and I love seeing the results of it. Right now, my shower is filled with Pattern products. It’s thrilling and there are so many other things that I use in the bathroom that I would love to have the name ‘Pattern’ on.”

Scott Eastwood loves classic look

OHMYGOSSIP — Scott Eastwood loves the “classic” look.
The ‘Longest Ride’ star has opened up about his personal style, admitting he prefers to go for the traditional look.
Asked how he would describe his personal style, he said: “I appreciate and wear the classics.”
Scott is a huge fan of watches and admits they are the “only accessory” he ever wears.
He added: “It’s the only accessory I wear … The one I wore – the Mille Miglia 2019 Race Edition watch 0 is amazing. It’s very balanced. As soon as I saw it on my wrist I started bugging them because I immediately wanted to keep it. It’s just a bad-ass watch.”
And Scott’s favourite clothing item is a good pair of boxers and socks, and thinks that is the root of everything.
Asked what the most beloved thing in his wardrobe is, he explained to Vancouver Sun newspaper: “A good pair of boxers and socks, more specifically, Made Here boxers and socks.”
Meanwhile, Scott previously admitted he “doesn’t know what to make of” his heartthrob status.
The ‘Pacific Rim Uprising’ star said: “I don’t know what to make of that. To me, there are a ton of good looking people in California. There are a ton of better-looking people than me. I’m just trying to be in good movies, produce movies, put together stories that people respond to and like. I guess people [call me a heartthrob], but for me it was never about being that. I’m just a guy, just a normal guy. I go up there and try to work hard and put my head down. I try to be a better person every day.”

Anna Wintour: Fashion shouldn’t be instantly disposable

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Wintour doesn’t want fashion to be treated as “instantly disposable”.
The editor-in-chief of American Vogue has called for the industry to be more sustainable and not just focus on fast fashion.
She said: “I think for all of us it means an attention more on craft, on creativity, and less on the idea of clothes that are instantly disposable, things that you will throw away just after one reading. [It’s all about] talking to our audiences, our readers, about keeping the clothes that you own, and valuing the clothes that you own and wearing them again and again, and maybe giving them on to your daughter, or son, whatever the case may be.”
Anna previously confessed she thinks there is a “long way to go” for diversity in fashion.
She said: “I think we’ve made great strides towards diversity in fashion but we have a long way to go. I’d like to see more designers of colour, more models of colour … I’d like to see more people with different preferences and opinions … We’re always looking for originality. The thought, the time, the effort in the portfolio. Most of all you’re looking for a voice and saying something that’s different, dedication, fearlessness and the spirit of the young …
“Remember, the young lead the way … It’s important to look for talent that’s willing to push, that they’re not being influenced by what other designers are doing. You’d rather look at these portfolios and see something that’s not so beautiful but is strong and fearless than something that’s middle of the road. You have to find your voice.”

Karlie Kloss loves a good moisturiser

OHMYGOSSIP — Karlie Kloss always keeps “a good moisturiser” with her at all times.
The 27-year-old model thinks its important to take care of her skin wherever she goes and will always carry moisturiser and cleanser with her.
Speaking to Travel and Leisure, she said: “I really care about making sure I’m taking care of my skin, so a good cleanser and a good moisturiser and hand sanitiser are in my bag at all times. I love Estée Lauder skincare, there’s an ANR syrup that I use for everything.”
Karlie had previously opened up about another beauty hack she has – she always carries a teaspoon with her to get a really “tight curl” on her lashes.
She said: “This teaspoon is very functional; it’s in my bag at all times for whatever the needs are. One tip and use of a teaspoon that I learned backstage from Pat McGrath at a fashion show way back when was to use a teaspoon to really get a very tight curl on the lash … you can really get right onto the lid and pinch it. This is my eyelash trick.”
And the blonde beauty is always “fixing” her make-up in the “back of a taxi” as it’s a chance to refresh your look on the go.
She said: “I don’t know about you but I personally find I’m constantly on the go fixing my make-up in the back of a taxi cab, or a bathroom. I need a refresh and to touch up my skin. I take concealer under the eyes, around your nose, around your lips to refresh your look, I like to use concealer over foundation because I don’t like that caking look on my skin, if I have an acne spot or dark circles under my eyes I’ll use a heavier concealer.”

Versace ‘suing Fashion Nova’ over replica gown

OHMYGOSSIP — Versace is reportedly suing Fashion Nova over a replica of a tropical green dress made famous by Jennifer Lopez.
The Italian fashion house has accused the online retailer of allegedly infringing its copyright with the gown, and it’s said the brand has filed the copyright and trademark infringement lawsuits against the retailer officials.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the court documents filed by Versace state: “Fashion Nova’s Infringing Apparel is plainly a deliberate effort to exploit the popularity and renown of Versace’s signature designs, and to trade on Versace’s valuable goodwill and business reputation…
“Versace seeks to bring an end to Fashion Nova’s latest brazen attempt at copying the work of yet another famous and world-renowned designer…
“Fashion Nova’s ability to churn out new clothing so quickly is due in large part to its willingness to copy the copyrighted designs, trademarks and trade dress elements of well-known designers such as Versace, and trade on their creative efforts in order to bolster Fashion Nova’s bottom line.”
The house alleges Fashio Nova have copied the Jungle Pattern dress – worn by J-Lo at the 2000 Grammys along with a redesign of the iconic outfit at Versace’s Spring/Summer 2020 show in Milan in September – as well as its black and gold Barocco print and Pop Hearts evening gown.
Fashion Nova is selling the West Palms Tropical Maxi Dress on its site for $49.99.
Lawyers claim they have warned executives at the site about legal action a number of times since the summer.
It’s said Versace wants a trial by jury, alongside an injunction, recall and payment including “all profits realised by its wrongful acts”.

Sienna Miller has a ‘sweater obsession’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sienna Miller has a “bit of a sweater obsession” and she loves to wear a good quality jumper everyday.
The 37-year-old actress admits her regular wardrobe is very different to her red carpet looks and she is at her most comfortable in a jumper and pair of jeans each day.
However, she admits her penchant for sweaters is getting out of hand as she is running out of room in her wardrobe for her favourite type of garment.
In an interview with Vogue Australia, she said: “I pretty much wear jeans and a jumper every single day. Or wide-legged trousers and a sweater. I’ve got a bit of a sweater obsession. I’m really into them. And shoes … whatever is on my feet is probably the most exciting part of whatever is my uniform. I can’t stop, all I want is sweaters.”
Sienna never relies on a stylist for her regular outfits but she does appreciate the help of celebrity stylist Kate Young – who also works with the likes of Margot Robbie and Dakota Johnson – when she is in work mode and is attending premieres to promote her films.
The ’21 Bridges’ star has one rule though, she has to feel comfortable when she is on the red carpet in front of the cameras.
Sienna said: “When I’m on a press tour, I’ll work with Kate Young. What she will do is call in a load of dresses from designers I like, and then try on what I love.
“I just try to find something that feels right. And occasionally I get it wrong … it depends. I don’t use a stylist for my everyday life and I don’t use a stylist for every red carpet event, but it helps having people sift through and pull (looks).”
When Sienna first became famous in the early 2000s she became known for her trademark boho look, comprised of gypsy skirts, floral dresses and fringed jackets.
Although the ‘American Sniper’ actress looks back on her hippy chic phase with a smile, she admits she did make a few fashion faux pas and is still shocked that she became a poster girl for boho.
Sienna said: “I mean, if I look back on the early ’00s which is when it happened, I don’t know that I’d put all of my clothes together in that way now, like I did then. It was a real moment in time and kind of amazing for people to respond in the way that they did, out of nowhere. I have always been drawn to that aesthetic.
“I look back and laugh at a lot of it now … it doesn’t bother me. It was a moment in time but I’ve evolved, is what I would say.”

Miley Cyrus shows off platinum mullet

OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus has shown off her new platinum mullet.
The ‘Wrecking Ball’ hitmaker has transformed her look with the edgy new hairstyle after her mother Tish gave her a trim over the weekend, but the uneven cut meant she turned to celebrity hairstylist Sally Hershberger to tweak the ‘do.
The pair both shared the updated version of the shoulder length haircut on Instagram, and Sally revealed the “punk vibe” was Miley’s own influence.
She told InStyle.com: “Miley wanted to go more punk… We went with a modern mullet that she can wear sleek, but also wavy and messy.”
Some fans took to social media to voice their disapproval of the new look, with some claiming it wasn’t “even”.
One cruel commenter described it as the “worst haircut I’ve ever laid my eyes on”.
Sally issued a defiant response and explained the angle made it look a certain way.
She responded on Instagram: “First of all, if you knew anything about hair, it’s the position she’s in.
“That’s why it looks that way, it’s 100% even, and she also had it straightened, so it’s more severe, which I actually like. “That being said chill out and know it’s a modern mullet which is very cool, but it’s something you probably aren’t even well-versed in sorry but not sorry.”

Victoria Beckham’s fashion label suffers £12.3m loss last year

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Beckham’s fashion label suffered losses of £12.3 million last year.
The designer’s own company – Victoria Beckham Ltd – hasn’t made a profit since forming in 2008, and the brand revealed losses grew 20% for the year up to December 2018 as demand for the high-end clothes “plateaued”.
Chairman Ralph Toledando told trade publication Business of Fashion: “The performance was in line with expectations, so we were not surprised. Our goal is to reach profitability as soon as possible.
“I firmly believe that our destiny is in our hands. We have a great talent in Victoria and, if you take that asset with a dream team, we can do it.”
He explained that sales had stagnated last in 2018 after years of growth.
The company – which is controlled by Victoria and her husband David Beckham through Beckham Brand Holdings – says the performance was in line with shareholders expectations.
In the Companies House accounts, the business said this came after “cutting costs, focusing on its digital channels and refining the product to more closely reflect Victoria Beckham’s aesthetics and values”.
Wholesale revenues are said to have grown by double digits in the UK, but “current challenges” in the market meant a decline internationally – although certain segments of the business have seen sale increases alongside “significantly reduced” losses.
It’s thought the brand can become profitable in the fourth quarter of the year, while the firm has an increased wholesale order book for next year.

Kylie previously revealed her hair has become “damaged” because she has changed it so much.
She said: “Because I change my hair so much, it’s become damaged. I’ve had to find ways to really try and take care of it and give it a rest. I discovered this amazing wig guy, Tokyo, and together we create wigs. Wigs are just so much easier because I change my mind so much and this way I’m not damaging my hair.”
And the 22-year-old television personality – who has 21-month-old daughter Stormi with her ex-partner Travis Scott – confessed she has an “addiction” to changing her hair.

“It makes me feel like a new person. I love feeling different and I love leaving the house knowing that nobody has ever seen me this way. It’s hard for me to go back to different styles I’ve worn before; I don’t always like my normal short, black hair.”
Kylie previously sold hair extensions under the name Kylie Hair Koture, in partnership with Bellami.

Sarah Burton to be honoured with Trailblazer Award

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Burton is to be honoured with the Trailblazer Award.
The creative director at Alexander McQueen will be handed the gong at this year’s Fashion Awards for her “empowering and narrative approach to shows”.
Caroline Rush, British Fashion Council executive, said: “Sarah’s empowering and narrative approach to shows and her focus on community and appreciation of craft, technology and English heritage is what has made her one of the most respected designers of our time. Her commitment to sharing her vision and expertise with the future generations of fashion designers has been remarkable. She’s an incredible source of inspiration for many generations to come and we look forward to celebrating with her in London in December.”
Sarah has worked with a number of celebrities, but one of her most iconic pieces was the wedding dress that Duchess Catherine wore when she married Prince William, Duke of Cambridge in April 2011.
And Sarah previously revealed she absolutely “loves” what she does and is grateful she can go to work every day doing what she enjoys.
She said last year: “What everyone always wants to ask about are the three things I won’t talk about: the wedding dress, Lee and my family. But I always say, it’s so amazing to be able to go to work every day and love what you do, and I personally want that to be how I’m judged. The work – that’s the narrative, not what I do on the weekend.”
