GIsele Bundchen: Celebrate yourself

OHMYGOSSIP — Gisele Bunchen has urged people to remember they are “special”.
The 39-year-old supermodel believes a cause of “unnecessary stress” is being concerned about fitting in and being “accepted” so she’s keen to celebrate what makes everyone “unique”.
She told Elle.com: “We believe that we have to look a certain way or do a certain thing to be accepted, but that’s not the case and that’s unnecessary stress.
“We have to be at peace with who we are because we are unique and special.
“Remember, there is only one you. There are seven and a half billion people on the planet, but there’s only one you so honour that. Cherish that. You are special.”
Gisele starts every day with meditation in order to carve out time for herself and to feel “grounded”.
She said: “The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning I meditate because it allows me to centre myself. I feel grounded, I feel good. It’s about taking time and space for myself.”
And the model believes people need to take control of their own reality and divide their time in ways that make them happy.
She said: “The work starts with you. You are the creator of your reality. No one can make choices for you, you have to decide…
“Do this exercise and draw a pie or circle and divide the pie up by the percent of time you spend on each part of your life. You can divide it by things like time with your husband, your boyfriend, girlfriend, friends, children, work, personal projects, and caring for your health.
“It’s a great way to visualise the way you’re allocating your time and if you need to make some slices smaller or bigger.”

Charlotte Tilbury won’t go barefaced in front of husband

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Tilbury won’t go barefaced around her husband.
The beauty entrepreneur has revealed she never sees her spouse without make up on and described it like “painting power and confidence”.
She said: “It’s important to keep the mystery alive. I feel fabulous, and I get what I want. I have always been a big champion of speaking about beauty in a different way. Positively. [For instance] I never used the word anti ageing. Make up is painting power, confidence, a frequency.”
And the 46-year-old beauty mogul decided to make her own brand after working for others and realising she wanted to “game change” the industry.
She added: “I knew I always wanted to have a brand, a global one, ever since I was a child in boarding school putting makeup on. When you’re working for other brands, you’re working in their DNA. I had this frustration. Charlotte Tilbury can’t exist for other brands. I had to exist for my own brand. I had looks and textures I wanted to game change … [My magic cream] came about when I worked backstage with models who were exhausted. They’d have flared up skin from flying in from New York, Paris, and London doing 60 fashion shows. I needed a cream that would turn skin around not in 28 days, but 28 seconds.”
And Charlotte praised the “dream teams” around the world – at home and at work – for helping her create her own dream.
She told Prestige Online: “I have dream teams everywhere. At work, it’s the labs, the PR, the marketing, the finance. At home, it’s my nanny, my housekeeper, my family, husband, sister, and nieces who help with my kids. I’m lucky to have found incredible people that help make my dreams come true.”

Victoria Beckham wants her beauty line to be ‘brand of the future’

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Beckham aims to “create a brand of the future” with Victoria Beckham Beauty.
The former Spice Girl launched her eponymous beauty brand last year, later expanding her label to include skincare, and the 45-year-old fashion designer says her intention was to create products that are sustainable and not made from toxic formulas, whilst being “inclusive” for all skin tones.
The mother-of-four told the February issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK: “I’ve been obsessed with make-up and skincare and wellness for longer than I can remember.
“But I couldn’t find what I wanted – clean beauty.
“What is that, even? It’s a real grey area.
“I wanted to create a brand of the future – focusing on what’s in the formulas but then also sustainability.
“The other thing that was key was making sure it was very inclusive – whether it’s make-up or skincare, this is for every skin type and tone, and for both women and men.”
In November, Victoria – who has Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 17, Cruz, 14 and Harper, eight, with retired soccer star husband David Beckham – released her Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturiser in collaboration with Professor Augustinus Bader, the German stem-cell scientist behind The Cream, which was named as one of 2019’s most popular skincare products.
Bader’s product features a patented Trigger Factor Complex that works to jumpstart your skin’s repair and renewal functions to heal skin faster and in turn, improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and as a fan of the cream herself, Victoria was thrilled to work with the scientist.
She said: “It’s been a dream to develop, with Augustinus, a priming moisturiser that works to improve the health of my skin and gives me that fresh, natural glow that I love.”
The priming moisturiser is a hybrid product that combines primer with moisturiser, and is inspired by Victoria’s own skincare routine.
Victoria’s product implements Bader’s Trigger Factor Complex technology, as well as the lipids, vitamins, and amino acids found in his original cream, but with the added benefit of also smoothing skin so it’s prepped for make-up application.
Bader explained: “It’s the first priming moisturiser of its kind to care for your skin cells while also preparing your skin for makeup application.”
The cream has a lightweight texture that can be work alone to give skin a radiant finish or under make-up, which according to Victoria, “will enhance your products.”

Another reason the pop superstar wants to up her yoga is because keeping moving helps her to relieve stress, as she admitted she has “a lot of things” she keeps “bottled up”.
Alongside the clip, Britney wrote: “In 2020 I will be doing a lot more acro yoga and the basics for yoga …. I’m a beginner and it’s kind of hard to let go …. learning to trust and letting someone else hold your body !!!

The ‘Womanizer’ hitmaker also revealed that she managed to beat her high school record for the “100 meter yard dash”, but unfortunately she “hurt” her legs, which she said are “swollen”.
She continued: “I was lucky today with this beautiful weather I just flew in from a trip with my family and I ran a 6.8 speed outside my house for a 100 meter yard dash … I did 6 in high school so I’m trying to gain speed !!!! I hurt my thigh so I apologize if my legs look swollen. (sic)”
Adding a Happy New Year message to her fans, and pointing out that she was sporting tennis shoes, she added: “I hope you all have a wonderful new year and GOD SPEED !!!!! PS I’m so cool with my tennis shoes and yoga it’s the new thing you know !!!! (sic)”
The ‘Toxic’ singer – who suffered a much-publicised breakdown in 2007 – revealed last year that she has been working with a fitness coach to arch her back as she believes her lack of confidence has caused her to “slouch” so she’s doing her best to improve her posture.
She wrote on Instagram: “Body language is everything!
“The way you speak to yourself and carry yourself can effect your mood …. I have self esteem problems so I slouch … These poses help me everyday become stronger and it’s quite fun doing them.
“I feel so different everytime I do it, cause I’m not used to the feeling of my back being out !!!!(sic)”

The ‘Lovely’ singer has created her own Eco-Village, which will feature refill stations for fans who bring their own reusable bottles to her gigs and educate them on climate change.
She said: “We’re actually bringing someone from Reverb, this company that basically specialises in the best and most healthy and green ways to do everything.
“So there’s no plastic straws allowed, the fans are going to bring their own water bottles, there’s going to be recycle cans everywhere, because it’s like, if something’s recyclable, it doesn’t matter unless there’s a recycle bin.”
Meanwhile, Billie previously explained that she likes to wear baggy clothes for comfort and wants both women and men to wear clothes which make them feel “comfortable in their skin”.
She said: “The way I dress is very not necessarily feminine, or girly, or whatever.
“I don’t say, ‘Oh, I am going to wear baggy clothes because it’s baggy clothes’, it’s never like that. I wear what I want to wear.”
“I have always supported and loved when a woman or a man or anyone in the world feels comfortable in their skin, their body, to show just whatever they want.
“I don’t like that there’s this weird new world of supporting me by shaming people that don’t want to dress like me.”

Amanda Seyfried is ‘getting tempted’ by cosmetic surgery

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Seyfried is “getting tempted” by cosmetic surgery.
The ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’ star has admitted that she lives by the motto of “looking your best naturally”, but she wouldn’t rule out having a “less invasive” procedure in the future.
Speaking in an interview on UK TV show ‘This Morning’, which aired on Friday (03.01.20), she said: “I believe in looking your best naturally … but I am getting tempted.
“There’s things that seem to be getting less and less invasive.
“I don’t like needles, but maybe I could do that.”
Amanda – who has two-year-old daughter Nina with husband Thomas Sadoski – says she “feels really confident” going bare-faced and doesn’t think it’s necessary to wear a full-face all the time.
She said: “I feel really confident without make-up on.
“I don’t feel the most beautiful – but I feel confident.
“It comes from a different place.
“I don’t wear make-up on when I go to the airport and on planes, sometimes I am like, ‘I should put in a little more effort’, but I just don’t care, I feel confident.”
The 34-year-old actress also revealed that she didn’t like having to have light blonde highlights for the second ‘Mamma Mia!’ movie – which is set five years after the first – because it made her locks “straw-like”.
She said: “It’s really healthy now because the highlights have grown out.
“I had to get highlights for ‘Mamma Mia! 2’ because it was taking place five years later as opposed to the 10 that actually went by.
“So my hair had gotten darker over time.
“I was like, you know what, we live on a Greek island, you would have sun-kissed hair, you’ve got to dye it.
“It was horrible. Because it get’s straw-like.”

Elle Macpherson wears white for New Years

OHMYGOSSIP — Elle Macpherson wears white for New Year’s Eve.
The supermodel has revealed her outfit choice to bring in the new year, admitting it has become a sort of “tradition”.
She said: “I love spending New Year’s Eve and Day with people who I want in my life all of the following year, and years to come – my kids, friends, family and loves. I often wear white, its become a sort of tradition for me. Usually, we are in the Bahamas and go to the local Junkanoo, a Bahamian procession with drums and costumes. It’s musical, joyous, creative, earthy and authentic and one of my favourite ways to celebrate the new year. We don’t play games but we do dance, although my kids say I should probably just watch at this stage!”
And the 55-year-old model – who has Arpad, 21, and Aurelius, 16 – also opened up about her beauty regime to ring in a new year.
Sharing her New Year’s Eve beauty tips, she added in her Get The Gloss column: “My beauty regime always begins with healthy glowing skin, and because nothing I put on my skin works as well as what I put inside my body (two teaspoons of Super Elixir Greens is always the first step as it’s fantastic for glowing skin – pomegranate for vitamin A and its high antioxidant properties, and horsetail extract and aloe vera for combatting the visual effects of ageing including pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles). When my skin needs extra love, I’ll add a vial of WelleCo Super Booster Aquatic Collagen Skin + Hair + Nails formulated with botanical extracts and bioactive nutrients that supports collagen formation and enhances skin firmness and strength. It also includes silica – fantastic for maintaining and supporting hair and nail health, strength and thickness. I’ve seen results in less than two weeks. I don’t wear a lot of makeup, just very subtle touches to naturally define my face, brow and lips. I love an organic concealer under my eyes, a little Pat McGrath Skin Fetish cheek shine and RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek on my lips.”

Serena Williams will treat herself

OHMYGOSSIP — Serena Williams will treat herself to some new jewellery this year.
The 38-year-old tennis star admits she finds it hard to treat herself and would describe herself as “most boring spender ever” so she is planning to get herself some new accessories this year.
She shared: “I don’t spend money – when I do it’s on my daughter. I usually invest my funds. I am the most boring spender ever. Don’t spend it, invest it …
“I am really bad at treating myself, so I am learning how to treat myself more. I am working on it. I’ve thought about some jewellery.”
And the sportswoman – who has Alexis Jr., two, with her husband Alexis Ohanian – has also revealed what could be in store for her future fashion lines.
She told People magazine: “I basically don’t balance. When I do something one day, it is 100 percent. When I am done, I am done and on to the next thing! I live and breathe fashion in the tennis off-season, but no matter what else I do, I’m always a mom and I love every minute of it.”
Meanwhile, Serena previously revealed her daughter already judges her fashion looks and she already has opinions on the clothes her mother wears.
When asked if Olympia will wear anything from the new jewellery line, Serena said: “Well, we got her a small version of our iconic heart. But other than that, no. They’re mine. Fall back, right now. Not yet. In due time. I do wonder what that’s going to be like when she’s a little bit older. I have no idea. We’ll see. I can’t wait.
“So far, she’s been wearing my heels, so I’m like, ‘She’s going to be in fashion!’ I could’ve sworn today, she looked at me, and she was like, ‘Gee, gah, yeah.’ I was like ‘You like what mommy’s wearing today?’ When I come out sometimes, she’s like, ‘Oohh! Ma!'”

Kim Kardashian West archives all her clothing

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West “archives” all her clothing.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star has revealed her keeps every single outfit she has worn, attaching a picture of when she wore it with it.
When one fan tweeted, “One important question that needs answers is, do you keep any of these coats in your archive @KimKardashian? They’re all gold! (sic)”, Kim replied: “I have every single coat and each one of these outfits all archived with the photo attached to each look! Don’t you worry!”
Meanwhile, Kim previously revealed she has a “temperature controlled” storage facility for every outfit she has worn that is linked to an app on her phone.
She said: “All of my old clothes go into a storage facility that’s temperature controlled, and I have different sections, like one for all my Met Gala dresses. Each thing is in a garment bag with a photo of me at the event. I try to keep the shoes with the look as often as possible, especially in my wedding section. I have my wedding shoes and my dress on one rack. Then there’s my Hervé Leger section from back in the day – maybe not the looks with the shoes, but I have all the dresses. Pretty much everything I’ve worn to an event is there.”
However, Kim keeps her iconic gold Versace gown, which she wore to the 2018 Met Gala, in her own personal wardrobe because she “loves seeing it”.
She added: “When I did the ad campaign for Balmain, Olivier Rousteing gave me one of everything, so I have a whole Balmain section. Sometimes I’ll take a mix of things that I love to see in my closet – even last year’s Versace dress that I wore to the Met I’ll keep in my closet because I love seeing it. Depending on what’s in, like, say, neon, I’ll pull everything like that from the storage and put in my closet. If it’s starting to fade, then I’ll put it all in storage.”

Little Women’s hairspray ban

OHMYGOSSIP — Hairspray was banned from the ‘Little Women’ set.
The latest adaption of the Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel envisioned the famous March sisters – played by Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Eliza Scanlen, and Florence Pugh – as early bohemians and writer and director Greta Gerwig encouraged the head of the film’s hair department, Fríða Aradóttir, to create less structured hairstyles.
Greta provided photos from Victorian-era British portrait photographer Julia Margaret Cameron as inspiration.
Speaking to Refinery29, Fríða recalled: “Greta, early on in our conversations, suggested that this family and these girls and women were possibly the original hippies.
“The hair was always meant to be a little less structured than you see in a lot of period movies. I find that more relatable than coiffures, which are so distinct and untouchable.”
As a result, the hair expert decided to ban hairspray from the set as she knew it hadn’t yet been invented during the story’s timeline.
Fríða told her team: “Let [the hair] be flyaway, let it be loose!”
She added: “On Jo, there were always pieces falling down — she was too busy thinking about a lot of other things and not tucking her hair in.”
Meanwhile, the makeup department also worked incredibly hard to keep with the times by providing a “no makeup look” on the big screen.
The stylists added a signature Victorian flush to the actresses by using a coral stain on their lips and cheeks.
Judy Chin, the makeup department head, explained: “My conversations with [Gerwig] were about having the girls just look wild and natural. I took all of their features and enhanced them.
“I wanted them to look very natural and strong and beautiful without any sort of noticeable cosmetic enhancement.”

Micaela told British Vogue: “The red carpet doesn’t need to be this precious thing. It’s an opportunity to have fun, take risks, and express yourself.
“She’s an expert in tailoring and silhouettes, and her knowledge of what suits her allows her to be more daring. She pushes me, I push her and we bring each other back down to earth. This trust has allowed us to see how transformative style can truly be. She’s become the ultimate muse and people want to work with her.”
And Lupita always likes to pay tribute to her own movies with her red carpet looks.
Micaela explained: “It’s really important to have a narrative, because we’re telling a story visually, just like in an editorial. She’s never in costume, but her look has to relate to the character she’s there to talk about.”
And Micaela revealed that she and Lupita hit it off immediately after they met.
She said: “It’s hard to describe that moment. She was so curious, open-minded and imaginative. We just got each other.”

Victoria Beckham’s eggy mask

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Beckham once used egg whites as a face mask.
The 45-year-old fashion designer isn’t afraid to try new treatments to keep her complexion going but admitted the raw foodstuff was one of the weirdest she’s experimented with.
She told Britain’s ELLE magazine: “The craziest thing I’ve one in the name of beauty is that I once put raw egg whites on my face as a mask…
“The last beauty item I bought was probably a mask. I love the Sarah Chapman 3D Moisture Infusion Masks.”
The former Spice Girls singer – who has four children with husband David Beckham admitted she is very “specific” about her eyebrows, which leads to her not keeping them tidy because she doesn’t pluck them enough as she refuses to touch them herself.
She admitted: “I’m very specific about my eyebrows and I’ll only let Anastasia (Soare of Anastasia Beverly Hills) do them when I am in LA which means I don’t pluck my eyebrows as often as I should.”
Victoria takes “quite a long time” on her grooming regime but that’s not something she feels guilty about.
Asked how long she spends looking after herself, she said: “Quite a long time. I don’t think we should feel guilty about looking after ourselves…
“I don’t think vanity has to be negative.
“I think there can be a positive take on it, you just want to look the best that you can.”
Over the years, Victoria has cut back her make-up routine.
She said: “The biggest beauty lesson I ever learned was less is more, accept who you are and don’t try to change yourself.”

Asked for her New Year’s resolution, she added: “As for my resolution, I am obsessed with crystals, so I’ll be focusing on learning more about them for 2020.

She said previously: “My first crystal was a black obsidian and I still carry it everywhere with me! I like to surround myself with positive energy, and so often have a little collection of crystals in my handbag.
“More recently though, I have been wearing the tri-stone pendant necklace – from my Pre Autumn Winter 2018 collection. [Wearing it] is a nice way to make sure I always have a crystal close by … We clipped crystals onto belt loops, and included secret pockets for them on wide leg trousers – so you can carry charms wherever you go.”
The 45-year-old fashion designer also included the gems in her fashion collection.
