She said: “Sometimes when traveling with Rihanna, we land and have to go straight to a media event, and my job is to make sure everyone looks good. I love using the new Hydrating Longwear Foundation by Fenty Beauty: I know that it’s going to have longevity and be very durable, but it also has moisturising properties that are great for dried-out skin after a flight.”
Priscilla also praised the versatility of Fenty’s Match Stix make-up sticks, which she always has in her make-up bag.
She said: “I also love Fenty’s Match Stix magnetised makeup sticks because they’re multipurpose, and I like to bring things with me that are multi-use so I don’t have to overpack. The matte version has the more creamy shades that I can use for contouring and highlighting, as well as a concealer, but the shimmer shades are great for blush, eyeshadow, or as a lip color. I can pretty much use them for anything. I also love to pack Fenty’s Full-Bodied Foundation Brush, which I’ll use as a blush brush for applying foundation and highlighter–you can used different sides of the brush for different areas.”

Cate Blanchett and Jodie Comer’s dresses to be auctioned?

OHMYGOSSIP — Cate Blanchett and Jodie Comer’s Golden Globe dresses could be auctioned off to raise money for those fighting the Australian bushfires.
The two stars walked the red carpet at Sunday’s (05.01.20) event in gowns from Mary Katrantzou’s Temple of Poseidon collection and the designer admires the “strong women” for trying to do good in the world.
Mary praised Cate in particular for using her time on stage at the event before she presented one of the honours to draw attention to the raging blaze, and is hopeful of going further to support the cause.
She said: “They are strong women who are fearless in using their voice. Women like Cate and Jodie continue to use their platform to share kindness and good, putting philanthropy at the forefront of the causes they support.”
Referring to Cate’s speech, she added: “[Cate’s] compassionate voice will continue to have a lasting effect on how we treat the world we live in.
“We are discussing donating Cate’s and Jodie’s gowns for auction to raise support for Australia.”
The designer was delighted that both the ‘Ocean’s 8′ actress’ stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, and the ‘Killing Eve’ star’s wardrobe guru, Elizabeth Saltzman, went for her creations as she thinks the dresses went to their “rightful owners”.
She told Grazia UK: “Elizabeth Stewart has a razor sharp vision and I loved working with her for Cate’s special moment. We also designed together the ‘paint by number’ dress that Cate wore to Cannes, as president of the jury in 2018, and I will always keep both moments very close to my heart.
“And I’m so grateful to Elizabeth Saltzman for her continuous support. She had her eye on the ‘Philosophy’ dress since the show in October. I’m so happy that it found its rightful owner in Jodie. I’ve always been a fan of hers and she looked beyond beautiful!
“Jodie’s strength, humour and kind nature made her the perfect woman to embody this dress.”

Ashley Tisdale slams pre-Botox

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Tisdale thinks people should “hold off” on getting Botox injections.
The ‘High School Musical’ actress has criticised the trend for having the wrinkle-smoothing injections before someone actually has lines on their face as she doesn’t believe it has any benefits.
She said: “I’m not really into this preventive Botox–they’re calling it pre-Botox. I just feel like it doesn’t work to prevent wrinkles; it’ll wrinkle somewhere else. You should hold off on that stuff until you actually need it. Young girls shouldn’t be getting that done.”
The 34-year-old actress admitted there is a lot of “pressure” to present a flawless appearance on social media but she isn’t a “big fan” of using apps to alter her look.
She told Glamour UK: “I think with social media – and really in general – the expectation is to look perfect at all times, and it’s standard to use apps to make yourself look ‘perfect’.
“There’s so much pressure. I think it disservices a lot of people because it’s not real.
“As much as filters are fun, and I love using filters, I don’t use Facetune apps or anything like that. I’m not a big fan.”
And Ashley urged people to use cosmetics to “illuminate” their own features rather than “cover” them in order to try to fit in with everyone else.
She added: “I think beauty is who you are and that make-up and skincare should help illuminate your features versus cover them. It took me a long time to even realise that myself.
“We tend to want to look like each other, so really what one person thinks is beautiful might not be what the other person thinks is beautiful. Everyone’s perception is completely different, so being you is what matters.”

Ashley Graham’s dress dilemma

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Graham struggled to find her dream wedding dress.
The 32-year-old model – who is expecting her first child with husband Justin Ervin – had a hard time seeking out a gown that made her feel special and flattered her curvy frame ahead of her 2010 nuptials.
She told Vogue.com: “I had difficulty finding something that made me feel special, something that would flatter and celebrate my body on one of the most important days of my life.
“I’m a traditional girl and knew I wanted my gown to reflect that.”
And with just two months between her engagement and her big day, Ashley couldn’t opt for a custom dress and the off-the-peg gown she picked up needed a lot of adjustment – and she was still “spilling out” of the front.
She added: “I went home to Nebraska to shop with my mom and grandmother, and the dress I liked was only a size 10 with a corset.
“We had to put a whole panel in the back so it fit properly, and even after that, I had a bit of a situation with my girls spilling out!”
Her own experience has prompted her collaboration with Pronovias, which will be available in sizes 0 to 34.
She said: “Women should be empowered to be their most confident selves on their wedding day – looking and feeling beautiful – and that’s why it’s important for brands like Pronovias to provide luxurious options in all sizes and styles.
“Typically, we have to try on a smaller size and then either special order our size or reconstruct the dress to fit. So when you’re shopping, it makes it difficult to get that ‘this is the dress!’ feeling. One size and style does not fit all when it comes to wedding dresses.”

Miley Cyrus’ modern mullet was ‘inevitable’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Hershberger has claimed Miley Cyrus’ mullet haircut was “inevitable”.
The legendary hairstylist – who chopped Miley’s locks into a modern mullet – spoke out about styling the singer’s hairdo and she believed it was unavoidable for the trendsetter.
Sarah said: “Miley’s mullet was inevitable – we both felt it. It’s fashion, it’s cutting edge and Miley has made it her own. She’s never going to do what everyone else does; she’s going to set trends.”
The ‘Slide Away’ hitmaker debuted her new do on Tuesday (07.01.20) by sharing photos on her Instagram.
Alongside a series of pictures, she captioned: “New hair. New year. NEW MUSIC. (sic)”
But Sarah, 57, first cut off Miley’s hair back in November after her mum was seen cutting inches off of her blonde hair.
However, fans never got to see Trish Cyrus’ finished look before Miley, 27, headed to Sarah for the finishing touches.
At the time, Sarah said: “Miley wanted to go more punk. She wanted something edgy. We went with a modern mullet that she can wear sleek, but also wavy and messy.”
Now, ‘Black Mirror’ star has gone even shorter and Sarah couldn’t be more thrilled to work with the actress once again.
She added: “I always look forward to working with Miley; she’s such a free spirit and a true artist. As an artist myself, she understands my creative process and that hair too is a work of art.”
The hairdresser also praised Miley for her ability to take daring risks with her hair and always aims to be “fashion forward”.
Speaking to Page Six Style, she continued: “When I work, I like to take risks and Miley supports the vision. She’s very fashion forward and 100 percent authentic.”

Jackie Chan collaborates with Li-Ning

OHMYGOSSIP — Jackie Chan has collaborated with fashion brand Li-Ning.
The actor and martial artist star was heavily involved in the “process” for the fashion house, which is scheduled to make its debut in Paris on January 18.
The label’s founder, champion gymnast Li-Ning, said: “Jackie was deeply involved in the design process, bringing his years of personal experience and expertise in kung fu, the influence of which can be seen across the products.”
The collection will be unveiled at their catwalk show at Centre Pompidou in the city, with the sporting and athletic goods company celebrating their 30th anniversary.
Meanwhile, Jackie previously confessed he accepts his fighting days on the big screen are set to come to an end because he is too old to be an action man.
The 65-year-old actor said: “I know I’m not young anymore. I cannot continue to make ‘Rush Hour 1, 2, 3, 4, 5’. If I’m [to] continue on in the film industry. I have to change. “Otherwise, you’re gone. You see in Japan. Korea. America. China. Hong Kong. How many action stars are all gone? Only a few can stay around.
“You get up five o’clock in the morning. Training until five o’clock. We would never take off the shoes. You don’t have time to take off the shoes. Tough training. Very tough. Hours – a thousand punches, 500, kicks. Pa, pa, pa, pa, pa. Turn-around, kick, hundred. Left side, hundred.”
And Jackie – who is trained in Kung Fu and Hapkido – has bemoaned the current trend in Hollywood where movies rely on stunt doubles and special effects rather than training their actors to fight properly.
He said: “The new action star doesn’t know how to fight. They can use a special effect, like Spider-Man. Everyone can be Spider-Man.
“One of my team members [was] Wonder Woman’s double. They go, ‘Pa, pa, pa, pa, pa.’ Then (Gal Gadot) came back, just pretty, just standing there. Ha! Easy.”

Patricia Arquette’s Golden Globes gown tore before she got there

The 51-year-old star won Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her portrayal of Dee Dee Blanchard in ‘The Act’ at the annual ceremony in Hollywood on Sunday night (05.01.20), and recalled how she had to be driven back to where she got ready to have her gown fixed after it tore as she got into the car.
She said: “Getting in the car, my zipper broke.
“I knew the zipper was bad when I tried it on but it just tore up so I had to drive back and they had to sew me in.”
However, in a bid to not let it ruin her night, the ‘Boyhood’ star said did karaoke and downed some whiskey before making her way back to The Beverly Hilton.
She added to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “We did karaoke, I drank some whiskey. I’m telling the truth here.
It was a good old time. I’m ready, I’ve been karaoking, my vocal cords are warmed up, I’m ready to sing.”
Meanwhile, in her speech, Patricia urged people to vote for a better world.
The actress first gave thanks to those who worked on ‘The Act’, singling out co-star Joey King, as well as praising her fellow nominees, Emily Watson (‘Chernobyl’), Helena Bonham Carter (‘The Crown’), Toni Collette (‘Unbelievable’) and Meryl Streep (‘Big Little Lies’).
She said: “Thank you so much what a wonderful surprise. Thank you to my fellow nominees, FPA, to UCP and Hulu, to Joey King, my phenomenal co-star I love you so much, you’re a gift.

Patricia’s speech then took a more serious turn.

The continent of Australia on fire.
“While I love my kids so much, I beg of us all to give them a better world, for our kids and their kids, we have to vote in 2020.”

Jennifer Lopez waits till ‘last second’ to pick Golden Globes gown

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez doesn’t pick her Golden Globes gowns “until the last second”.
The ‘Hustlers’ star opted for a show-stopping Valentino couture dress, complete with a statement golden bow, for the bash on Sunday (05.01.20) – which saw her nominated in the Best Actress in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture category for her part in ‘Hustlers’ – but her make-up artist Scott Barnes has revealed Jennifer has several designer pieces “flown in” and only chooses one based on “how she feels” at the very last minute, which can be challenging for her glam team.
Scott explained: “Jennifer is a special case, because she gets custom couture gowns flown in from lots of different designers and never decides what she is going to wear until the last second based on how she feels.
“We kind of have to be ready for anything which is interesting and can’t really plan too much in advance.
“It can be difficult but I’m a spontaneous artist and she allows me the space to work.
“And she trusts me, which has been a winning combination over the years.”
The team will spend several days coming up with different ideas for Jennifer to review.
He added to The Hollywood Reporter: “In the weeks leading up the event, we create mood boards and Jennifer gives her feedback.
“It’s like creating a character every time. I worked on ‘Hustlers’ and created the look for her character.
“It was so fun to go back to the nineties and create the look.”
Scott says the biggest challenge is matching the make-up with the colour of the dress.
He said: “I know what our options in advance are from the fittings, so the main worry for me on the night are issues like, ‘Is the eyelash too big, should the eye be a strong or neutral palettes, or is the skin tone wrong for the dress?
“It is very much about the dress, especially the colour.”
Fortunately for the team, Jennifer has lots of hair to work with.
He added: “A lot of these gowns call for the hair to be swept up so the emphasis is really on the face.
“When there is no hair to hide behind, the pressure is really on and everything has to be meticulous.”

Salma Hayek’s hypnotic look

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Tilbury wanted to create a “hypnotising” make-up look for Salma Hayek at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (05.01.20).
The cosmetics expert took inspiration from the “decadent wash of sparkle” on the 53-year-old actress’ Gucci gown to create a “fresh and neutral” beauty look for her friend.
Charlotte said: “For Salma, I wanted to create an iconic, hypnotising and perfectly polished red carpet make-up look. It’s a fresh, neutral and glamorous look that perfectly mirrors the decadent wash of sparkle from her magical Gucci, mermaid-esque gown.”
Charlotte began by prepping the ‘Frida’ star’s skin with Magic Cream and Eye Cream before using two shades of foundation and two of concealer to create a base, and then setting out to define Salma’s “ultimate killer cheekbones”.
She explained to Vogue UK: “To create the ultimate killer cheekbones, I applied my Hollywood Contour Wand in Medium/Dark to contour and add definition to Salma’s cheeks, temples, jawline and nose and then I added a flush of fresh, glowing colour to Salma’s cheeks, I applied her Cheek to Chic in Love Glow to the apples of the cheeks.”
The make-up artist used her own new Instant Eye Palette in Pillow Talk to create Salma’s “shimmering, chocolatey eyes”.
She said: “I applied the Date Eye shades, blending the matte taupe, soft tawny brown and warm velvety brown shades to create a beautiful, fresh-matte eye look.
“Then I enhanced the tones on Salma’s eyes by using the new Pillow Talk Eye Liner along the top lash line and drawn out into a soft, sultry feline flick. I then nestled her Rock’n’Kohl Liner in Bedroom Black along the bottom lash line before applying the Full Fat Lashes mascara to her top and bottom lashes.”
And no look would be complete without a lip.
Charlotte added: “I completed Salma’s perfectly polished look with my new Pillow Talk lip liner and lipstick duo in Medium. The sultry, warm berry-pink shade worked gloriously against the teal tones of the dress.”

Gwyneth Paltrow ‘beautifully naked’ at Golden Globes

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow was “naked in the most beautiful way” at the Golden Globe awards.
The ‘Politician’ actress turned heads at the ceremony on Sunday (05.01.20) with her see-through tulle Fendi gown and her stylist, Elizabeth Saltzman, thinks her choice of dress reflected the Goop founder’s ease with herself.
Elizabeth told The Hollywood Reporter: “She’s naked in the most beautiful way.
“That café au lait colour on her sun-kissed body is like, ‘Wow!’
“She’s not saying, ‘Look at me.’ It’s a person saying, ‘I’m comfortable in my skin, inside and out.
“[The dress] is not wearing her in any way, shape or form.'”
Elizabeth admitted the ruched detail-gown was the first option she showed her client and it instantly “made her so happy”, though they also spent a lot of time taking photos in various lighting conditions to ensure the tulle undergarments made to accompany the dress didn’t expose Gwyneth in the wrong places.
While the outfit – which was accessorised by Bulgari diamonds – created a divisive reaction on social media, the 47-year-old actress’ stylist thought it was a symbol of empowerment.
She said: “Gwyneth is willing to really go for things, and I respect who she is as a powerful women. I couldn’t accomplish half of what she’s done. So I wanted to empower her with her clothing choice to say, ‘Practice what you preach.’
“Her whole thing is about health, wellness, fun, business. She takes all sorts of risks. It’s about her body, her beauty, her elegance.”
After the ceremony, the ‘Iron Man’ actress admitted she was glad to be heading home to rest.
She shared a photo on Instagram of her reclining back in a car with her feet up on the seat in front of her and wrote: “The best part of the night is always getting home.”
