Jennifer Aniston is ‘cleaning out her closet’ whilst she is in self-isolation

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Aniston is “cleaning out her closet” whilst she is in self-isolation.
The ‘Friends’ star is thinning out the clothes she has at her home to pass the time as she stays in the house due to coronavirus.
During a phone call with Ellen DeGeneres, and broadcasted as part of her Instagram show, she said: “I’m actually still cleaning out my closet. That’s still happening … Well, I do suggest a good spring clean right now while we’re at it. That can’t hurt. Books are great, obviously.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer raided her own closet for her Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards dress earlier this year.
The ‘Morning Show’ actress walked the red carpet at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium in a white form-fitting Christian Dior gown and she revealed she’d opted for one of the “oldies but goodies” she’d collected over the years, rather than relying on a stylist to find her a new outfit.
She said at the time: “This is a vintage John Galliano for Christian Dior, that is mine. I have a little collection of you know, the oldies but goodies.”
The 50-year-old actress – who won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series award for her work on ‘The Morning Show’ at the ceremony – accessorised her outfit with vintage jewellery from Fred Leighton, which seemingly included the same ring she wore to the Golden Globe Awards earlier that month.
A spokesperson for the jewellers told E! News: “Jennifer Aniston’s jewellery includes Edwardian diamond pendant earrings in platinum, an Art Deco pear-shaped ring, in platinum by Cartier, a 1920’s Marquise diamond ring, in platinum. All pieces are Fred Leighton.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner is “so comfortable” in her underwear.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star has been working alongside Calvin Klein for a number of campaigns and admits she feels so at ease on the set as she knows the “groove of things”.
Speaking in a behind-the-scenes video for the brand, she said: “It’s always so nice to be here on set with Calvin Klein. At this point I feel like I’ve done it so much that it’s just so comfortable and it’s so easy to just get right in the groove of things when you get here so I love it.”
Meanwhile, Kendall previously admitted she’s made a conscious effort to be “super selective” about her modelling work.
The world-famous star explained that her other responsibilities – including appearing on the family’s E! reality show – means she isn’t able to commit to a huge number of catwalk shows each year.
She said: “Since the beginning we’ve been super selective about what shows I would do. I was never one of those girls who would do, like, 30 shows a season or whatever the f**k those girls do.
“More power to ’em. But I had a million jobs, not only catwalks but everything else. The whole combination was very overwhelming, and I started to freak out a little bit and needed to take a step back.”
Back in 2015, Kendall revealed she loves posing in her underwear.
She said: “It was super fun. Every girl loves posing in her underwear. It’s always fun to do that. I’m close with Joan, and me and all the girls are friends.”

Tom Ford urges government to help fashion businesses amidst coronavirus

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Ford has urged the government to support fashion businesses, as they suffer a reduction in sales due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The 58-year-old fashion designer – who is also the chairman of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) – has urged the US government to announce help for fashion companies too, as part of the upcoming federal stimulus package from Washington.
In a statement, he said: “I would suspect and hope that this is the chief focus of any fashion organisation now: taking care of their people. Inclusion of the fashion industry in the $1.6 trillion stimulus package expected to be released imminently is critical and of the utmost importance for us all. The CFDA understands that the industry needs immediate critical support and is working to access relief at the federal and local levels.”
And Tom fears the “ultimate damage” the impact of this viral pandemic will cause not only the fashion business, but companies from all sectors.
He added in the statement, released to Women’s Wear Daily: “Like most industries, the fashion business has been hit very hard and from every angle. Our suppliers are suffering, and our supply chain interrupted as literally the entire world has been all but shut down. And retail in most regions, and certainly in the U.S., has ground to a halt … Every day the landscape changes, so it’s almost impossible to predict with any certainty the ultimate damage that this will have on the economy and on the fashion business specifically.”

Meanwhile, Kelly previously admitted she has had plastic surgery on her earlobes.
She explained: “I had gauges, like hanging gauges. See these holes up here. These were my earholes that tore all the way through. So I had to go to a plastic surgeon … There’s a piece of my earlobe that’s not there because he had to sew it together.”
Kelly revealed her love of hanging earrings led to both earlobes tearing right through, although one had a much better recovery than the other.
Pointing to her left ear, she said: “This one really recovered very nicely. This one is perfect … [The other one] was just way worse. The damage was worse.”

Tyra Banks postpones opening of Modelland

OHMYGOSSIP — Tyra Banks has postponed the opening of her beauty theme park Modelland amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The 46-year-old former model – who launched her own interactive cosmetic e-commerce site Tyra.com in 2015 – has been forced to push back the launch of the Santa Monica park, which was due to open its doors on May 1, following the advice of several organisations, including the World Health Organisation (WHO).
A spokesperson told WWD.com: “As is no surprise, in light of the recommendations of the CDC, WHO and California Gov. Gavin Newsom, we have decided to postpone the opening of Modelland.
“We will continue to monitor the situation and determine a new date to open that is appropriate and safe.
“We remain excited to bring the wondrous world of Modelland to you and will wait to welcome you to our attraction when the time is right.”
Tickets had already been sold and were priced between $59 and $1,500 for a full package featuring a photo shoot.
The 21,000 square foot space features retail and food places and aims to “bring modeling to the masses, while expanding the definition of beauty”.
Tyra has made an immersive experience through the use of virtual reality and other technologies.
Speaking about the venture, which will be family-frendly, the ‘America’s Next Top Model’ founder sad: “We’re very open to partnering with and having integrations with different brands that bring technology to the forefront and make sure what we’re providing in Modelland are things you cannot do on your phone.”

“I’m not creating this to service people who want to become models or are models.”

Mel C: My daughter makes fun of my style

OHMYGOSSIP — Spice Girl Mel C’s daughter likes to make fun of her past hairstyles and fashion choices.
The 46-year-old singer has revealed that her 11-year-old Scarlett – who she shares with her ex-partner Thomas Starr – mercilessly mocks her outfits from the 2000s but is a fan of her tracksuits and trainers from the 1990s which she donned for her Sporty Spice pop persona.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she explained: “My daughter is very proud of me but definitely enjoys making fun of some of my past hairstyles and fashion choices.
“With 90s fashion and sportswear having a moment my iconic Sporty look is a winner – but some other later stuff, not so much!”
After the Spice Girls – formed of Mel C, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham and previously Geri Horner – split in 2000, Mel C forged a successful solo career and decided to totally revamp her look to distance herself from Sporty Spice, even changing her hair to spiky frosted tips.
She previously said: “I think because I was so concerned with being seen as something other than Sporty Spice, I made some really bad choices.”
However, reuniting with the ‘Wannabe’ hitmakers in 2019 made her feel loved again as dressing in tracksuits helped her embrace true personality.
She added: “Touring with the girls was incredible. It was such a magical experience. Spending time with the girls and becoming much closer again was really special too.
“I loved being Sporty Spice again it helped me really embrace every part of myself.”
What’s more, writing her latest album has helped her come to terms with who she is today.
She continued: “Making my new album I began to realise a new chapter in my life emerging.
“I feel braver as I get older and can look back on how everything has made me the person I am today.”

Katie Holmes keeps her prom dress in storage

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Holmes has kept her prom dress from 1997 in storage.
The 41-year-old actress donned a store-brought gold lace gown to her senior year prom, and she felt so incredible wearing it that she has kept the dress for 23 years.
Speaking to InStyle magazine, she revealed: “I loved my prom dress senior year. It was a long gold lace dress from Caché, that store in the mall. This was 1997, so it was grunge time.
“Was I cool enough to wear my dress with Doc Martens? No, I wasn’t. Did I want to? Yes, I did. I still have it in a storage unit.”
More recently, her favourite look has been the white dress she wore to the American Australian Association Arts Awards in January, which she has used to test out other outfit ideas.

Meanwhile, Katie’s hectic career and lifestyle means she hasn’t always got long to put together outfits – so her wardrobe mainly consists of quality staple pieces.
Katie – who has 13-year-old daughter Suri with ex-husband Tom Cruise – said: “I just pick what I like wearing. I don’t have a lot of time to choose, but I go with classics and kind of throw it on and walk out.”

Victoria’s Secret closes stores to curb coronavirus

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria’s Secret is to temporarily close for business in a bid to curb the coronavirus outbreak.
The lingerie company – which is fronted by models including Taylor Hill, Alexina Graham, Elsa Hosk and Martha Hunt – shut its retail stores across the US and Canada last week, and has now revealed it will close its online stores until March 29.
A statement on the brand’s website read: “With constant breaking news regarding COVID-19, we have made the decision to temporarily close our online store through March 29. As with our previous announcement regarding store closures, we will be paying associates who are impacted by these actions.
“We ask for your understanding during this time relative to orders you may have placed that have not yet been fulfilled. Our customer care team will be sending out update emails in the next few days regarding order status.”
It comes as fashion retailer L Brands – who acquired Victoria’s Secret and Pink in 1982 – decided to halt sales to focus on e-commerce production and distributions of soap and hand sanitiser.
The company has said it saw a sharp increase in demand for soaps and hand sanitizers at the outset of the outbreak, and has decided to close production on all brands except Bath & Body Works.
However, L Brands is continuing to pay their 80,000 employees during the closure.
The news comes months after the annual ‘Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show’ was cancelled in November.
L Brands’ chief financial officer Stuart Burgdoerfer said the decision had been made to not go ahead with the runway show – famous for the Victoria’s Secret Angels showcasing the brand’s lingerie as the world’s biggest pop stars perform – whilst the label figures out how to “advance the positioning of the brand”.
Stuart said: “As communicated previously, we think it’s important to evolve the marketing of Victoria’s Secret, that is happening in certain respects now and I think there will be more to come. And with that said, we’re figuring out how to advance the positioning of the brand and best communicate that to customers.”
