Kylie Jenner does Kim Kardashian West’s makeup for TV appearance

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West’s sister Kylie Jenner did her makeup for her video appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star drafted her younger sibling – who owns her own cosmetics brand – to help her with her glam for her video appearance on the US talk show, as her usual hairdressers and makeup artists were unable to see her amidst the coronavirus pandemic, which is gripping the world.
Speaking on the show, she said: “I’m in my mom’s glam room. Kylie did my makeup and my hair. I don’t have anyone to do it and I’m not that good so she like did all my makeup.
“And that’s the first time I’ve seen her cause the whole family is distancing. We haven’t even seen each other. So I snuck out and I am at my mom’s house in her glam room cause there’s a door from the outside so this is all she will let us in. And I had to get away from my kids.”
Meanwhile, the pair’s mother, Kris Jenner, recently admitted she is “bursting with pride” over her daughters’ success in the beauty industry.
She said: “As a little idea from Kylie and me and Jen and Matthew was there too, a few people with a really big idea… we couldn’t do it without you. When we started out, and KKW Beauty was just a dream for a minute, and then we became one big family, it makes me so proud. I am bursting with pride for my daughters.”
Kim previously gushed over her sibling’s talents.
She said: “I’m so proud of her. To think in her early 20s, she built a business off of something that she first was insecure about and finding confidence and, you know, just tapping into that and figuring out how to make an amazing product and just being true to herself and doing what she loves to do, that’s so inspiring and so amazing and I’m so proud of her.”

Sophie Turner jokes Joe Jonas is a ‘psychopath’ for wearing jeans in self-isolation

OHMYGOSSIP — Sophie Turner has joked Joe Jonas is a “psychopath” for wearing jeans whilst in self-isolation.
The ‘Game of Thrones’ star and her husband are staying in together amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
Referencing an internet meme, she told host Conan O’Brien via video chat for his show ‘Conan at Home’: “I mean, this is something that’s only kind of come to my attention since this quarantine thing, but I saw … it was like a meme online or some comment or something and someone said, like, ‘If you’re wearing denim pants at home, like, what does that say about you as a person?’ Like, are you a psychopath? And Joe does that. Joe wears denim trousers at home – where no one can see him. I’m not wearing denim trousers. This is the most dressed up I’ve been in days. I’m wearing my sweatpants. I’m business on top, party on the bottom.”
Sophie is “loving” being in quarantine at home with Joe but he feels like he’s in “prison” as he is a “social butterfly”.
She said: “I’m kind of loving it. I’m an introvert, I’m a homebody, if I could stay at home all day I would, so this is great for me. I see how people are finding it difficult, but I don’t understand how people are really struggling to practice social distancing. I’m like, all you have to do is stay at home and get drunk at home. It’s great. Joe and I … everything seems to be working out in my favour here because Joe is a real social butterfly and I struggle to lock him down and just spend time with me. It’s like a prison for him, but it’s great for me.”

Duchess Meghan’s style is ‘refined imperfection’

OHMYGOSSIP — Duchess Meghan’s style has been described as “refined imperfection”.
Hairdresser George Northwood worked alongside the Duchess of Sussex multiple times, and was behind her trademark messy bun, which he has revealed was their way of “adhering to royal protocol” but also being modern.
He said: “The messy bun purely came off the back of making the hair both appropriate and adhering to royal protocol, and modern at the same time. We wanted it to be up, because a lot of the time it was appropriate for it to be up, but we didn’t want it to be too formal. We always wanted it to be refined imperfection – that’s what sums her up.”
The pair met in February 2018 and George has described Meghan as a “Cali girl”.
Speaking about their first meeting, he added: “I was a bit worked up beforehand and then, as soon as I met her, she was just like my California girl clients. She said, ‘I’m a Cali girl’, and I just said, ‘One of my favourites then.’ We hit it off – we immediately spoke the same language. The way she approaches things is how an everyday woman would approach things – she has a real sense of style and she wanted to look approachable, even though she was a princess. She was a very modern princess, the sort of princess we can relate to and aspire to, and the hair just fell into that.”
George also worked on the former ‘Suits’ actress’ hair for her wedding reception, following her marriage to Prince Harry.
He told Vogue magazine: “The evening was intimate, for family and friends, a time for Meghan to be herself. By this point, the messy bun had become such a thing and we wanted to do something equally relaxed and effortless. Often with brides – and this was no different – the daytime bit is a bit more nerve-wracking, and then the evening comes and it’s more about wanting to have fun. That’s what my hair is about: it’s wearable, effortless and can withstand a dance floor.”

“I’ve actually been eating a lot more greens. I’m really bad about that when I’m home in NYC. I always get take out. But here, there isn’t really that option, so you have to cook. I also got my favourite chocolate cake from the supermarket and I am making my way through that.”

I think we need more of that in the hectic lifestyles that we have.

Tyra Banks proud to break down walls for African America models

OHMYGOSSIP — Tyra Banks is proud to have been the first African American to walk the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and to have been able to “break down walls” for other black models.
The 46-year-old supermodel made history when strutted down the catwalk for the lingerie giant’s annual extravaganza back in 1996 before going on to be the cover star of the Victoria’s Secret catalogue in 1997.
The two history making moments can be combined with her being the first female model to grace the cover of GQ magazine and she will always feel an enormous sense of pride for being the trailblazer for other models of colour.
Speaking to Haute Living, she said: “It was nice to break down the walls so others could walk through them. I was the first female model on the cover of GQ, not the first black model, but the first female to be on the cover, so that was exciting.”
Since becoming a model at the age of 15, Tyra pushed through to get approval from magazines to become one of the most recognisable faces across the world.
Though today, she believes the idea of beauty has changed with thanks to social media celebrating diversity, and fashion and women’s magazines had had to change with the times.
She said: “It was hard to get validation from magazines because they dictated what beauty was. Social media changed all that and the magazines had to follow suit.”
Now, the ‘Life Size’ star believes true beauty is defined by “confidence” and “kindness” instead of looks and body shape.
She added: “Internal beauty, I would say ‘do unto others as you would have done unto you.’ That means kindness, giving back, being strong, being opinionated and even sometimes being unapologetic because that strength can be beautiful.
“External beauty is undeniable. There is a symmetry that makes people really beautiful, but it’s all about being confident and showing your beauty from within.”
What’s more, Tyra has been teaching her four-year-old son York life-shaping lessons about body confidence and beauty to her toddler.
Speaking previously, she explained: “I’m trying to teach him [positive] messages because I’m his first role model when it comes to beauty and accepting different types of women, so we practice that a lot at home. I’m already saying things to him.
“For instance, I go home and I take my wig off. The other day he was like, ‘Mommy, I like you and you look so pretty when you put your hair on.’ And I go, ‘How does Mommy look with her hair off?’ And he goes, ‘Um. I don’t know.’
“I was like, ‘Really look at Mommy. Do you think that she only looks good with her hair on?’ And he was like, ‘Mommy, you look good with your hair on and with your hair off.'”
