Gucci to present Epilogue collection via livestream

OHMYGOSSIP — Gucci will present its Epilogue collection via livestream on July 17.
The Italian fashion house will stream a 12-hour event, including a presentation of the new collection, along with the release of a visual narrative feature, which can be accessed worldwide on gucci.com, YouTube, Twitter, Weibo, the Gucci app and on Gucci’s Facebook page, according to WWD.
Creative director Alessandro Michele has renamed the Cruise collection to Epilogue as he moves his brand away from the traditional fashion calendar to showing just twice a year.
Speaking previously about how the Covid-19 pandemic has made him reevaluate how the Italian fashion house operates, he said: “We are a big brand, so we have a responsibility to take care of our industry. We need to give it the time that’s needed. The things we make have a longer life than what we have allotted to them in the past. We all agree that fall and spring are the most appropriate [time frames] to show our work, but I hope that other brands will follow us so we can have an open dialogue to arrange new dates.”
And Alessandro believes this is the right move forward for the fashion industry.
He explained: “I have designed a future for this company by also looking to the past. I’m convinced that moving forward also means going back to the origins of this wonderful industry. We will update it, but we will have to restore what we had in the past, and maybe show you a more inventive product. To do that we need more time.”
Gucci’s event will run on the last day of Milan Digital Fashion Week, which will see 37 brands present their spring 2021 men’s line and men’s and women’s pre-collections.

Rihanna wants to become beauty billionaire

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna wants to become a beauty billionaire.
The 32-year-old singer has already enjoyed huge success with her Fenty make-up line and the star is now turning towards skincare after filing paperwork to trademark new products, including one called Buff Ryder.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “She wants to make her millions with beauty and is planning a new skincare line to go alongside her Fenty Cosmetics range.
“Fans hopes for R9 will be kept on hold while Rihanna builds her beauty empire as she plots to become the next beauty billionaire.”
Rihanna confirmed she was working on a skincare brand earlier this year, when she said: “Skincare, it’s the truth. It either works or it doesn’t. There’s nowhere to hide.”
She filed a trademark for Fenty Skin in 2019 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and it reportedly covers: “medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care and personal care products and related accessories such as kits, tools and applicators”.
Along with Buff Ryder, Rihanna’s trademarks for non-medicated skin preparations include Instant Reset, Fat Water, Flash Nap and Hydra Vizor.
Fenty Beauty first launched in 2017 and was lauded for its inclusiveness with 40 foundation shades.
Speaking previously about Rihanna’s beauty credentials, model Cara Delevingne said: “Rihanna is teaching teens how to just get it right. It’s weird, I feel like that awkward teenage stage is over and that I was one of the last to go through it.
“I remember when I was a kid, I was so bad – all I used to do was just cake on foundation and eyeliner. Now I look at teenagers today and I’m like ‘What?!’ Less and less teenagers are looking like that. I see them and I’m like: “How do they do that make-up? It’s so hard!”

Naomi Campbell opens Paris Couture Week

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Campbell opened Paris Couture Week with a video calling for “equality and diversity”.
The 50-year-old supermodel quoted Nelson Mandela and the Black Lives Matter movement as she called for the “inclusion of the multitude of identities that compose our countries” ahead of the event, which has moved to digital due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
She said: “This is a call for action we are making. It is up to us, it is up to you to start enforcing inclusion of the multitude of identities that compose our countries. The time has come to build a more equitable industry with a good form of checks and balances.
“It is now more than ever compulsory to include them in a permanent way, and not a transient one.”
Naomi called for “regular and sustainable conversations with minorities from each countries and cultures, who are already invisible actors of this mega industry” and added: “It starts now, in France. I am Naomi Campbell and I declare Paris couture fashion week ouvert. Merci.”
During the event, Schiaparelli presented a short film showing creative director Daniel Roseberry sketching an “Imaginary Collection” as it has no new collection this season, due to the Covid-19 crisis.
He said: “Life today is lived according to opposites; the pandemic has inverted everything we knew. Now, instead of a team to execute this collection, I just have my own imagination. Instead of the Place Vendôme in Paris, it’s been designed and sketched on a park bench.
“Everything has changed, but imagination, and the drive to create, has never been more relevant, or more profound. This collection is a tribute to that impulse to create. Someday very soon, I will venture back to Paris and hand these styles off to the atelier. We will make a portion of these and take them around the world to share with our valued clients and stylists.”

Gwyneth Paltrow’s natural beauty secrets

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwyneth Paltrow’s make-up artist has shared the star’s secrets to natural beauty.
Gwyneth, 47, prefers the natural look and Georgie Eisdell has revealed that she achieves this by taking care of her skin and using a face roller.
Georgie told goop: “Before we do any makeup, GP smoothes her skin with Microderm to get maximum glow. I start by massaging goop face oil into her skin with my fingers, then, to really get all that goodness to penetrate further into the skin, I use a face roller in an upward motion to lift, depuff, and firm the skin. Last, I smooth on a little day moisturiser to get her skin beautifully hydrated and prepared for make-up.”
And Gwyneth also goes for the less-is-more approach when applying make-up.
Georgie explained: “Using a sponge (you can also use your fingers), I apply dots of Beautycounter Tint Skin Hydrating Foundation to the high points of her face and blend it out to even out the skin tone. I like to add a little extra in the T-zone for more coverage if you need it. I go in and conceal any spots or undereye darkness with concealer. I focus the concealer only on the inner corner of the eye, then blend it outward, rather than adding concealer all the way under the eye–no one is dark all along their under-eyes, just in spots.”

Amanda Holden’s unusual beauty secret

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Holden has an unusual beauty secret to keep her looking 10 years younger.
The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge has revealed her biggest kept beauty secret to get rid of dark circles and under-eye wrinkles, admitting she puts haemorrhoid cream on her face.
Speaking about the cream – which is usually used to treat piles – Amanda told her Heart Breakfast co-host Jamie Theakston: “Instead of using tea bags under your eyes, or expensive eye creams, I’ve got what you all need. Just dab some haemorrhoid cream under those puppies and you’ll be looking 10 years younger. Well, it’s for a veiny area in the first place, right? So it decreases the visibility of wrinkles and dark circles. It’s an amazing trick, just try it out for yourselves and trust me, you’ll never go back!”
Amanda loves to wear makeup and even gave birth in “full glam” after being told she needed to have a caesarean section.
After being told she needed C-section to give birth to her eldest daughter Lexi, now 14, because of her placenta previa – which causes the placenta to block the opening to the womb – she decided to go all out with her make-up look, as she knew it wouldn’t get ruined by a strenuous birth.
Amanda – who has Lexi and Hollie, eight, with her husband Chris Hughes – said: “My Lexi had this thing called placenta previa which means she couldn’t come out the normal way because her placenta was in the way, she was using it as a cushion basically, she was doing like a headstand on it.
“So I had to have a C-section so I did full glam. I had lip gloss, I did a lash. I literally said ‘Can I wear my [stilettos]?’ and they went, ‘No way you, have to take your shoes off.'”

Kendall Jenner’s learned a lot from beauty shoots

OHMYGOSSIP — Kendall Jenner has “learned a lot” from beauty shoots.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star has got a lot of makeup tips from her days on set, but she also has learned a lot from her own face and just working out what suits her best.
She said: “I learn a lot from being on set. What taught me most about how to do my own makeup is just my own face and finding out what looks good on me and what doesn’t.”
And the 24-year-old model shared her top tips for the perfect pout.
Speaking in a video interview for Vogue magazine, she added: “I dab lip gloss to enhance my own colour. I like having gloss rather than just matte. And if I don’t have gloss, I use ChapStick or something.”
Meanwhile, Kendall previously opened up about her struggle with acne, admitting she couldn’t leave the house because of it.
She wrote: “when my acne was at its worst, I was a high schooler who didn’t want to leave the house. Now I’m content with my skin. (sic)”
Kendall has never been one to hide her acne as she admitted that she used to struggle with low self-esteem as a result of having bad skin for many years and it made her feel like an “outcast”.
She said: “I had such bad acne when I was younger; I remember it SO well! Where it really impacted me was how self-conscious I became about it. It completely ruined my self-esteem. I wouldn’t even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face. Sure, I had crushes in high school, but I wouldn’t even think about looking at guys.”

Naomi Campbell confident that fashion industry will change after BLM movement

OHMYGOSSIP — Naomi Campbell is confident the fashion industry will “change” as a result of the Black Lives Matter movement.
The 50-year-old supermodel believes there will be big changes to the industry now people’s voices are “coming out”.
She said: “Now the whole world is on the same page. The voices are coming out now … and I look at that with optimism that we will get our change.”
Meanwhile, Naomi previously opened up about racism in the workplace.
She added: “For me what Black Lives Matter stands for is so much more than police brutality, the reach is from here to the continent of Africa. It matters in the jobs that you get. We need to have our proper place and seat at the table of the boards. I’ve been saying that for a long time. It’s not just when things come up and you scramble and say, ‘Let’s get this person and that person.’ It shouldn’t be that way. I worked with Bethann Hardison on the Diversity Coalition, we did that to protect our girls in the industry of fashion. But why is it now that the jobs that do come up, it’s a ‘diversity role’?
“Because I also feel like they’re overqualified for that too. But then you also feel like if I don’t take that ‘diversity job’ – whatever title it is – then I’m not doing something for my people, so it’s a Catch-22 in a way.”
And Naomi is “sick and saddened” by the racism across the world.
Speaking about the issue, she added: “I refuse to let the ignorant and the territorial win. I am sick and saddened just like all of you out there. But most importantly, I feel positive that we are going to get the change that we have been wanting for so many hundreds of years. And to be treated the way we should be treated with equal rights and without injustice.”

Kourtney Kardashian’s sunscreen fear

OHMYGOSSIP — Kourtney Kardashian used to be scared that sunscreen “would make her break out”.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star used to be terrified of putting sun protection lotion on because she didn’t want to get spots on her skin.
Taking to her Poosh website, she shared: “I used to be afraid that sunscreen would make me break out. I also put it on my hands, which is a trick that Khloé taught me. I put this EltaMD sunscreen on my face, hands, neck, and chest because this is where we all show our age.”
Meanwhile, Kourtney previously confessed she is a big fan of vampire facials and has it as often as possible and likes to combine it with a whole day of “downtime” where she relaxes and looks after her appearance.
She said: “I love platelet-rich plasma [treatments]. They take your blood and spin it, and then take the plasma and microneedle it [into your face]. They call it the Vampire Facial. It’s usually a day of downtime, but it’s something I like to do as often as I can.”
The 41-year-old reality star is also afan of cryotherapy treatments, where the body is exposed to extreme cold.
She added: “I do saunas. And Khloé [Kardashian] and I did cryotherapy together. We felt so good afterward. We were like, ‘Let’s do this every morning!'”
Kourtney also admitted growing up in the “super-skinny” era left her confused about what foods were healthy and what weren’t.
She said: “It’s interesting. I grew up in that super-skinny era. ‘Fat-free’ and calorie counting was the thing. I don’t even think about those things anymore. No one cared about carbs; it was just [about] no fat. I didn’t know what was healthy or not healthy growing up. … [Post-kids,] with my body, it’s become more about maintenance. As far as my workouts, I feel really good. I notice better results when I mix it up between trainers or do boxing, so I don’t get burned-out or bored.”

Chrissy Teigen’s beauty secrets

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen keeps her skin flawless with a mixture of La Mer cream and Bioré’s chin and nose strips.
The 34-year-old model admitted she doesn’t have a particular skin routine but there are some products that she simply can’t do without.
She wrote on Instagram: “For you kind folks asking me to drop the skincare regimen, I will admit I am def proud of my skin lately and feeling myself! I kind of use whatever is closest but it consists of @shanidarden forcing me to use @isclinical cleanser and face lotion, @controlcorrective SPF 30, @lamer’s creme de la mer and concentrate ($$, I know I know but I gotta be honest) and a steady stream of @bioreus chin and nose strips. Mix that with anything anyone at @drjasondiamond’s office tells me to do facial wise and @simonourianmd1’s firm and fade cream when I’m feeling icks, and there you have it. A very simple (no) routine! But really. The IS clinical cleanser and the lotion is the only thing I use consistently and they’ve always been so good to me. Can find online – everything else just a bonus. Xx (edit: forgot one of my most important products, @drdennisgross alpha beta peel pads. So important for on and around my nose and chin. You’ll notice a HUGE difference!!) (sic).”
Meanwhile, Chrissy recently had her breast implants removed after 14 years, because she wanted to return to having “pure fat” breasts.
She previously said: “They’ve been great to me for many years but I’m just over it. I’d like to be able to zip a dress in my size, lay on my belly with pure comfort! No biggie!
“So don’t worry about me! All good. I’ll still have boobs, they’ll just be pure fat. Which is all a t** is in the first place. A dumb, miraculous bag of fat. (sic)”

Jacqueline Jossa blasts Zara over ‘offensive sizing’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jacqueline Jossa has blasted Zara over its “offensive sizing”.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actress went on a huge shopping spree at Zara over the weekend but claimed she had a “mental breakdown” after realising that her new clothes would not fit.
The size 12 star fumed on Instagram: “Loads of people asked me about my Zara haul because I went shopping the other night. To be honest, I had a mental breakdown yesterday basically because the sizing in Zara is offensive. Just not having it really. So I had to take a whole load of stuff back.
“I was shocked when I got home yesterday honestly. I’m a size 12 and the large wouldn’t fit me from Zara.
“I had to get the extra large which is not a problem but you know people who are over a size 14, size 16, size 18, do they just not shop in Zara?
“I didn’t know that, I wasn’t aware of that and I haven’t shopped in Zara for years. So I kind of remember why I don’t shop in there anymore.
“I love it but I think the sizing is really off. I did get some nice bits which I will show you.
“But you should have seen me yesterday trying to squeeze into a pair of shorts and stuff. Should have filmed it but it wasn’t a pretty sight.”
After blasting Zara, Jacqueline, 27, lavished praise on In The Style, the company she has her own clothing collection with.
She said: “Do you know what? I haven’t shopped in for so long for anything but in the sale and it just goes to show me really that the sizing for InTheStyle is so good. That is what it is meant to be.”

What I was able to achieve with my first campaign, as the founder of an emerging independent brand, is pretty fanfreakingtastic. And above all, I want to thank myself for not giving up on my dreams. It’s moments like these, when everyone thinks I’m crazy, that I push even harder. I always welcome a challenge. As my father always said, ‘Follow your dreams and you will never lose sight of your goals’.”

The 37-year-old model and Kora Organics founder is a huge fan of the cookbook ‘Cleanse To Heal’ by Anthony William and she has been serving up dishes from it to her husband Evan Spiegel and children Hart, two, Myles, nine months, and nine-year-old Flynn during the Covid-19 quarantine.
She told nowtolove.com.au: “I’ve always enjoyed cooking and I love finding new recipes. I’m making lots of fresh organic veggies and grilling some vegetables, making stir fries and salads.
“I’m trying to eat super healthy at the moment and I’ve been really into cooking that way. Then I can add something else for the kids or for Evan.

Kylie Jenner debuts tattoo in honour of daughter

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Jenner has got a new tattoo in honour of her daughter.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star showed off her latest ink whilst sharing a series of behind-the-scenes videos from a Kylie Cosmetics shoot on her Instagram Story this week.
One video saw her pose with her makeup artist, Ariel Tejada, and as her arm extended to hold her camera, fans spotted a small tattoo on her forearm, just below her elbow.
The tattoo reads “4:43”, which is the exact time her daughter Stormi – whom she has with ex Travis Scott – was born on February 1, 2018.
Kylie’s newest tattoo is the latest in her collection of small inkings – most of which are rarely seen by the public – including a phonetic spelling of the word “sanity”, her grandmother Mary Jo’s signature, a tiny heart, and the word “la” which was converted from a “T” she had to honour her ex-partner Tyga.
The lip kit mogul also has a lowercase “m” on her pinky finger, which matches a tattoo on her former best friend Jordyn Woods.
Meanwhile, Kylie recently hailed her daughter as her “remedy for everything”, following her recent high-profile dispute with Forbes, after the magazine insisted she wasn’t a billionaire.
The publication accused the 22-year-old beauty of spinning a “web of lies” about her business, including her Kylie Cosmetics brand.
But Kylie’s lawyer, Michael Kump, hit back at Forbes, insisting its article contained “outright lies” about the star and demanding the company retract its comments.
He said: “We have reviewed Forbes’ article accusing Kylie of engaging in deceit and a ‘web of lies’ to inflate her net worth. The article is filled with outright lies.
“Forbes’ accusation that Kylie and her accountants ‘forged tax returns’ is unequivocally false and we are demanding that Forbes immediately and publicly retract that and other statements.”

Gigi Hadid’s secret to hiding her baby bump

OHMYGOSSIP — Gigi Hadid has been using fashion “optical illusions” to hide her baby bump.
The 25-year-old model is currently expecting her first child with her boyfriend Zayn Malik, and although she should be displaying a burgeoning baby bump, she’s managed to conceal it from view by using “baggy” clothes.
During an Instagram Live with chef and welfare advocate, Sophia Roe, Gigi was asked about her bump by a fan who commented: “How do you not have a tummy?? I’m 4 months into my pregnancy and my tummy is huge you look great tho! (sic)”
And the beauty responded: “This angle and the really baggy jumpsuit make for an optical illusion. From the side it’s a different story! haha — wishing u the best! x (sic)”
Gigi has been keeping her pregnancy private since she announced it back in April, but previously revealed she already knew she was “a few months” pregnant when she was walking the runways during Fashion Month in February.
Speaking in May, she said: “People think I do fillers on my face, and that’s why my face is round – I’ve had this since I was born. Especially Fashion Month, when I was already, like, a few months preggo, you know.”
The beauty is reportedly due to give birth in September, and she previously said she is “very excited” to become a mother.
She said: “Obviously, we wished we could have announced it on our own terms but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support.
“Especially during this time, it’s a nice silver lining to be able to be home and be together and really experience it day by day.”

Rihanna launches new Savage x Fenty collection

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna has launched a new collection of lingerie through her Savage x Fenty brand.
The ‘Work’ hitmaker dropped the Cabo Crush range of summer lingerie styles on Wednesday (02.07.20), and promoted the campaign with the help of Savage x Fenty ambassadors including Symphani Soto and Jordan Emanuel, as well as Rihanna herself, and the lucky winners of the brand’s Savage x Summer contest.
The range includes a hot pink bra and thong set modelled by Rihanna herself, as well as similar styles in neon orange, a pink bodysuit, and a two-piece set featuring a snakeskin pattern.
Cabo Crush’s campaign images feature the models against tropical aesthetic backgrounds, which were created in partnership with artist, photographer, and filmmaker Rafael Perez.
The filmmaker previously worked with Rihanna to capture Savage x Fenty’s Spring collection, and during the shoot, the pair took images that would be used for a contest which called for fans to enter for the chance to star alongside Rihanna in an at-home summer campaign.
The four winners of the competition – Brenda Senyana, Kortney Russell, Gerlind Anagho, and Sariena Luy – were then picked to model items from the Cabo Crush collection for the singer’s latest campaign.
Speaking to Vogue about the campaign, Kortney Russell said: “It’s important to change the narrative of one specific body type being the standard of beauty. Doing that can be a hard thing to do and can get you a lot of negative opinions along the way, but it’s something I think Savage X is doing successfully! I’m excited to see the fashion industry change, and I’m so privileged to be contributing to that change!”
Whilst Brenda Senyana added: “I really hope that [Savage X fans] feel liberated to live confidently in their bodies. People are always telling me how confident I am and commending me for making bold and daring fashion choices, but I wasn’t always this way.
“Every day that I accept and love myself more is a win. My weight does not define me. I cannot let my life centre around people who work to tear me down. I have to live confidently and unapologetically!”
