Kelly Brook’s glam Christmas Day

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Brook will still be dressing up on Christmas Day.
The 40-year-old model – who has curated a party edit for F&F and is their brand ambassador – is likely to spend 25 December just with her partner Jeremy Parisi this year but she doesn’t feel that’s enough of a reason not to make an effort with her appearance.
She said: “Even though we’re all going to be at home this year, it’s still nice to dress up.
“I’ll definitely be wearing the [F&F] black velvet dress. It’s super affordable and so glamorous. There are so many lovely pieces in the range.”
The couple are looking to move house, so their festive plans were uncertain until shortly before the big day, though they always knew this year will be different to their usual celebrations because they can’t travel to France to be with Jeremy’s family as usual.
Kelly said in a recent interview: “We want to move house at the moment so we were kind of thinking, ‘Where are we going to spend Christmas? Are we going to move? What’s going to happen?’
“We’ll definitely be in the UK though.
“We usually go to France every Christmas to see Jeremy’s family but because of everything that’s going on, obviously that’s not possible.
“So we’ll be here and we’ll do a big turkey…
“It’s weird because in France they do fish on Christmas Eve, they don’t really have the turkey tradition.”
And the brunette beauty is excited about spoiling her puppy Teddy on his first Christmas.
She said: “We’ve got Teddy for the first Christmas this year too. I’ve already bought him loads of presents and started hiding them – he’s like my child!”

Giorgio Armani implores celebrities to re-wear their outfits

OHMYGOSSIP — Giorgio Armani has implored celebrities to re-wear the same outfits.
The 86-year-old Italian fashion designer has given an update on the changes his eponymous brand are making to ensure they are sustainable by cutting down on production and minimising the lines.
In an interview with WWD, Armani said: “This is a theme that I am passionate about and committed to for a long time, and not only in the current, very problematic climate. It is mainly a matter of respect: for customers who should not be misled, for the planet that should not be destroyed, and for my own work, which should not be performed in a foolish way, taking away value from everything because of excess production and communication.
“The main steps are the reduction of the range in all the lines, with the merging of pre-collection and fashion shows, for example, and the linking of the men’s and women’s collections in the show. Then there is a decisive movement toward sustainability, which is already very evident in Emporio with the R-EA concept collection, and in AX, which is 40 percent sustainable. The search for sustainable materials naturally also concerns the Armani Casa collections, because it must be a circular effort, a continuous giving and receiving across the entire spectrum of the Armani world.”
During this difficult year amid the coronavirus pandemic, Armani has chosen to stop giving out “substantial gifts” and opted to help feed those in need.
He continued: “It is the same circularity that led me to reconvert our production facilities at the time of our country’s greatest need, or to offer support through donations to local charities: a precise choice, which this year replaces, for example, the sending of substantial gifts. I preferred, instead, to offer hot meals to the needy, because what we are experiencing has created major and widespread poverty, which does not leave me unmoved.”
Armani wants to see famous faces recycling their outfits to reduce their carbon footprint.
He continued: “And in the circularity of thought, with a view to doing less and better, I also involve celebrities and red-carpet events: no more creations worn only once, with an enormous waste of skills and resources. I welcome the clothes that are worn many times, and a new conscience. Just as it happened a few evenings ago for the opening night of La Scala in Milan, when numerous artists performed in clothes that were previously worn, but no less impressive. By means of all these coordinated actions, I think it is possible to reestablish value in the work of us designers, making it tangible and ethical, instead of merely frivolous, without ever relinquishing beauty.”

Lady Amelia Windsor reveals her top beauty hacks

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Amelia Windsor says jewellery is a good way to add “extra va-va-voom” when you are having a bad make-up day.
The 25-year-old fashion model and member of the British royal family – who is 39th in the line of succession to the throne – has shared her top beauty tips and explained that she believes wearing some jewellery is just as good as having a full-face of make-up when it comes to looking like you’ve made an effort.
Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar UK, she said: “That way, you feel done up without anything on your face.
“Jewellery can always be considered as beauty, because you can match it with your make-up look that day, or if you’re not having a very good make-up day – maybe its not settling on your face as you’d like it to – I feel like your jewellery can give you that extra va-va-voom when things aren’t going very well in the make-up department.”
Ameila insisted “less is more” when it comes to make-up and shared the ways she’s “being kinder” to her skin.
She said: “My views on beauty have definitely changed.I think less is more. It’s about loving my skin and being kinder to my skin. I used to spend a lot of time in the sun and I now realise that is just not a good idea. I’m definitely always wearing something with SPF in it.”
Amelia is also keeping her carbon footprint down by swapping out plastic items in her bathroom, such as replacing her toothbrush for a bamboo one and shower gels for soap bars.
She said: “Over lockdown I was really trying to consider how to use less and trying to be more sustainable.
“There’s so much plastic in our bathrooms and, actually, your bathroom looks way nicer when there’s less plastic in it … Using a bamboo toothbrush, for example, actually looks so much nicer than a plastic one, and it’s so much better for the environment.”

Megan Thee Stallion’s New Year’s resolution is to maintain her ‘flawless complexion’

OHMYGOSSIP — Megan Thee Stallion’s New Year’s resolution is to keep on top of her skincare routine.
The ‘WAP’ hitmaker has revealed that she is going to kick off 2021 by eating well and continuing her skin regime to ensure she maintains her “flawless complexion”.
In an interview with GQ Hype – of which she is the cover star – Megan said when asked what her resolutions are: “Eating healthy and maintaining my skincare regime. It’s hard to keep up a solid routine when I work so much, but I’m determined to nail it down consistently because I want to stay healthy with a flawless complexion!”
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old rapper recently dropped her Fashion Nova line and revealed the aim was to make women “radiate confidence”.
The ‘Hot Girl Summer’ hitmaker launched her own inclusive denim range with the popular brand and explained that in creating clothing that is tailored to fit every body shape and size perfectly, the wearer will feel amazing inside and out.
She said: “When everything hugs the right places and complements your natural figure you can’t help but feel good. That’s what this whole collection is about.”
She added: “When you feel that way on the inside and you‘re wearing clothes that accentuate that, you will just radiate confidence. That’s real hot girl s***!”
Growing up, the 5ft10 singer struggled to find clothes that fitted her properly in terms of length and being too tight around the booty.
She said: “Whether it was because the leg length was too short or the booty area was too tight, there would always be clothes or styles I’d [want to] wear, but just couldn’t find that would fit a tall girl with shape.”
Her own battle to find clothes with the perfect fit helped when it came to knowing the areas that needed the most attention.
She said: “I really wanted to pay attention to length and stretch across the collection so everything looks tailored but is super comfortable.”
The ‘Savage’ hitmaker knew Fashion Nova was the perfect brand to collaborate with on the 106-piece collection – which includes jeans, corset tops, dresses, and even pieces for pets – because they serve up “the hottest looks” with a reasonable price tag.
She said: “I want all the hotties to be able to wear this collection, so working with Fashion Nova who have all the hottest looks at affordable prices just felt organic in that sense.”

Gal Gadot’s daughters are obsessed with jewellery

OHMYGOSSIP — Gal Gadot’s daughters have picked out pieces from their mom’s jewellery collection to wear when they are older.
The 35-year-old actress – who has Alma, nine, and Maya, three, with husband Yaron Varsano – has revealed her girls are obsessed with jewellery and can’t wait until they are old enough to start wearing some of her pieces.
The ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ star told People: “They love jewellery and love accessories.
“So, every time they see me wear something new, they are always very intrigued. They are already deciding amongst themselves who is going to get what when they grow up.”
Gal has worn several standout pieces in her movies, including the Bone Cuff by Elsa Peretti in the second film in the DC Extended Universe franchise.
She said: “I’ve always loved Elsa Peretti’s legendary Bone Cuff as it is a symbol of power and glamour.
When ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ director Patty Jenkins decided to outfit Diana Prince in it, I thought it was the perfect piece of jewellery to pay homage to the character’s strength.”
The Israeli star also revealed she is planning a “low-key” Christmas with her family.
She said: “We are keeping it very intimate, my parents flew in to join us after weeks of quarantine. We will keep it low-key at home.”
Meanwhile, Gal recently said being a mother is the “project of her life”.
The movie star feels “very connected” to her children and always speaks to them about how they are feeling.
She said: “Being a mom is the best thing I’ve ever done, the project of my life. I’m all types of moms. It depends what days you’re asking.
“I’m very connected to them and I’m very warm, and I make sure to keep the channels of communication open and we always talk about feelings and stuff like that. And then sometimes I let go and don’t interrupt them because I’ve learned when you’re too involved you can actually create problems.”

Anya Taylor-Joy creates perfumes for every character she plays

OHMYGOSSIP — Anya Taylor-Joy creates a perfume for each character she plays.
The ‘Queen’s Gambit’ star has revealed the unique method she uses to help her stay in character, which is creating a scent based on what she believes her alter ego smells like.
However, she also makes sure she has her own favourite fragrance with her, too, which is Viktor and Rolf’s Flowerbomb.
Speaking to InStyle, she said: “I tend to make different characters their own little perfume with essential oils. But, I always travel with my fragrance, too, because it’s nice to be reminded of who you are sometimes.”
For the part of Beth Harmon in the hit Netflix drama, the 24-year-old star described her scent as “a lot of black pepper, sandalwood, and vodka.”
And revealed that she “would even put a tiny bit of vodka on my wrist sometimes when she was having a bad day.”
Although Anya is lucky to have “very nice clothes”, she prefers to wear her older brother’s old jumpers with holes in them because they remind her of home.
She said: “When I was a kid, I was a total tomboy and always wearing my brother’s hand-me-downs. So, there have been a couple of jumpers of his that I can’t bear to give up, even though they’re like covered in holes.
“And, my brother’s like 10 years older than me, so they’ve been around for a while. But, they remind me of home and I can’t give them up. I really have very nice clothes, and I feel very lucky about that, but for some reason, I just tend to gravitate towards the threadbare, hole-y jumper. It doesn’t smell like home anymore, but if I close my eyes I can pretend it does.”
The ‘Split’ star also recalled how she once treated herself to a really expensive ring, which she lost on the dancefloor.
Asked what the first extravagant gift she bought herself was, she said: “There was a ring that I really loved that I bought that for myself, maybe four years ago.
“It wasn’t ridiculous, but at the time I was like, ‘I’ve never spent so much money in my life!’ And, the first thing that happened is I went out dancing and, because it was a men’s ring, it flew off my finger. I was dancing, having the time of my life, and then, all of a sudden, I just felt the ring slide off.”

Billie Eilish begs fans to stop making fun of her hair

OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Eilish has begged fans to stop making fun of her lime-green hair.
The 19-year-old singer is tired of hearing snide comments about her statement hairdo and threatened not to release her upcoming album if they do not stop dissing her look.
Sharing a video on Instagram, she said: “F*** you guys. Stop making fun of me, my god! I’m f****** making you an album. I will not put it out if you keep making fun of my hair. Shut up!”
However, the ‘Bad Guy’ hitmaker has suggested she may be changing her look after the release of her documentary ‘Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry’ in February.
She continued: “I’m changing it after the doc comes out. It’ll be the end of an era, I’ma give you a new era … I have announcements to make, I got some s*** to put out. Anyway, leave me alone. Let me live with my f****** hair that I’ve had for way too long. Okay? Shut the f*** up.”
It is not the first time Billie has lashed out on trolls who have criticised her look as she previously revealed she dresses in leisurewear to stop people commenting on her body.
She said: “Nobody can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath. Nobody can be like, ‘She’s slim-thick,’ ‘She’s not slim-thick,’ ‘She’s got a flat ass,’ ‘She’s got a fat ass.'”
The pop star first developed her distinct style at a young age whilst she was fighting body issues that contributed to her depression. Billie started puberty early and she didn’t feel mentally prepared for the changes her body was going through.
She said: “I just hated my body. I would have done anything to be in a different one. I really wanted to be a model, really bad, and I was chubby and short. I developed really early. I had boobs at nine. I got my period at 11. So my body was going faster than my brain. It’s funny, because when you’re a little kid, you don’t think of your body at all. And all of a sudden, you look down and you’re, like, ‘Whoa. What can I do to make this go away?”

Jessica Alba had The Rachel haircut

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessica Alba had “The Rachel” haircut from ‘Friends’.
The 39-year-old actress rocked the iconic 90s hairdo – which was created by hairstylist Chris McMillan – that was made famous by Jennifer Aniston’s character, Rachel Green, on the sitcom after she was told to get her haircut for a job.
She told Women’s Health: “My first real haircut was Chris McMillan cut my hair. I was 12, almost 13. It was after I met him for an audition for Milla Jovovich’s music video to play a younger Milla Jovovich.”
The casting director told the youngster she would be hired if she had her hair cut off but didn’t know she would become part of history by opting for classic style.
She continued: “Chris McMillan gave me the ‘Friends’ cut, and I got home and my hair was like to here and had those massive layers. I was dying, I was like, ‘Oh my god this is so amazing,’ I loved it so much. And then Chris McMillan became the biggest thing ever, and I was one of the first to get that Friends cut. And it got me a lot of catalog work.”
McMillan rose to fame as the creator of the iconic do after he first cut Jennifer Aniston’s hair for the role, and most recently styled her for the premiere of ‘The Morning Show’ in 2019,
In October 2018, Aniston reflected on her character’s wildly popular haircut while presenting McMillan with the Hairstylist of the Year Award at the InStyle Awards.
She said: “I got that haircut and was like, ‘Wow this is amazing,’ and then I was totally left with this frizzy mop on my head, because I had no idea how to do what he did. Nobody seems to know how to do what Chris does. And I figured out that’s called creating job security.”

Irina Shayk embraces Russian roots in beauty routine

OHMYGOSSIP — Irina Shayk embraces her Russian roots in her beauty routine.
The 34-year-old model has learned a few beauty secrets from her Russian ancestors that have helped her whilst prepping her skin for the day.
Speaking in Vogue’s Beauty Secrets video series, she said: “I grew up in very cold weather. When I wake up or travel, and feel a little swollen [with] bags under my eyes, I run to the fridge and I get an ice cube, and [glide it] all around my eye area, my chin, [and] all around my face.”
She also wakes up her skin by using Mimi Luzon’s 24K Pure Gold Treatment to reduce thin lines and redness as her love for gold comes from her heritage.
She added: “I’m Russian – I love gold!”
Despite growing up in the cold climate, the black-haired beauty didn’t learn how to apply her makeup until she started going to photoshoots and learning from makeup artists.
One of her favourite tips she shared is how she loves to use her fingers to apply her products instead of using brushes as she has a more controlled glide.
She explained: “I learned how to apply make up by learning through the shoots and stuff. Some girls love to apply makeup with brushes, I just found it so much easier to blend with my finger because you can control it more. You can stretch it more.”
What’s more, using her fingers means she has more room for other products in her makeup bag as she doesn’t have to fill it with applicators.
She continued: “I also love to keep in my purse minimal products. That’s why I like to use my fingers because I don’t have to worry about bringing brushes and this and this.”

Virgil Abloh started brand to pursue architecture

OHMYGOSSIP — Virgil Abloh started his fashion brand to pursue architecture.
The 40-year-old designer received a master’s degree in architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology but created his brand, Off-White, to “investigate” architecture instead of following a traditional route.
He told Dezeen: “I don’t believe in disciplines. We can use our architecture brain and do many things, not just what we’re supposed to do.
“I started a career to make a brand to do architecture rather than just work at SOM, or wherever I would have naturally gone starting my architecture career. I made a brand to sort of investigate architecture in a way.”
Meanwhile, Virgil previously admitted he is being more productive than ever during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He said: “We need to show our resilience. This is the time to prove our industry is a valuable one. Not for a second will I cancel, or pause, or take time off the calendar … Everything on my end will proceed. I’m finding ways to work harder, more efficient. I’ve started another collection on top of the collection I was working on for June because I have more time. We’re at a position now where I think we can realign ourselves with listening to the consumer first and responding, instead of the previous model, which was sort of talking down [to the customer. It’s critical that we as designers and institutions and brands realign ourselves with the voice of the people today.
“That means what we traditionally know as a fashion image or an image to market or a video or a glimpse, I think can get more heartfelt. I think it can reflect the real public and humanity in a more seamless way rather than a projected idea of what a fashion image is or a marketing image is or a campaign is.”

May she ride high above us all on the most perfect horse eternally in peace.”
Fellow model, Christy Turlington-Burns, also recalled the first time she met Stella during her early career in the 90s.

She was so beautiful and gentle, naked except for her nose piercing and big black boots. I will remember her easy laugh and humble strength. Later, after Stella had become a mother she would beam talking about the kids and the farm and her other ‘quiet’ life. Stella evolved in front of all of our eyes in the most beautiful, relaxed and confident way. I never imagined there was anything she couldn’t do. You are deeply admired, respected and will be missed by everyone you touched in this lifetime.”

Ashley Graham lost her hair after giving birth

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Graham suffered hair loss after the birth of her son.
The 33-year-old model – who has 11-month-old Isaac with husband Justin Ervin – has revealed her body changed dramatically after the birth, meaning she lost her hair.
In a video chat with Skin School, she said: “After I had Isaac, and I’m sure that your body changed – like, it just does no matter what something on you is going to change after you have a baby – and mine my hair. My hairline fell out and my skin got a little more sensitive and red.”
However, Ashley admitted she never really took care of her skin until she started getting regular campaign work as she thought she would ruin the shoot if she got a zit.
She explained: “I never thought about [skin] prep before a job until I started getting that one random zit that I couldn’t help but pop and when I popped it, it turned into a scab and I was like ‘What am I doing, why am I getting these zits?'”
From then on, the model knew she had to start developing a skin care routine and vowed to cleanse her face every night before she went to sleep.
She added: “This is going to ruin this campaign that I’m shooting,’ so I started making sure that no matter what, I was going to wash my face before I went to bed.”
Although her biggest life lesson and advice to others is to always ask someone older whether you are suffering with body issues or mental health.
She said: “The best thing you can do no matter what you are going through – whether it’s a body issue, mental health issue, a relationship issue, school, job, work – is to ask someone older than you, ask them for advice and ask for help. Just remember you are not alone in any of these situations.”

Olivia Palermo is ‘100 per cent’ dressing up this Christmas

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Palermo has vowed to go all out with her festive outfits this Christmas.
The 34-year-old fashionista isn’t going to let the coronavirus pandemic and the fact in real life parties are off this year stop her from getting glammed up, and she has predicted that once quarantine is over everyone will want to add an “extra” bit of “sparkle” to their ensembles.
She said: “I have not let coronavirus stop me from getting dressed; I feel that it’s important.”
Olivia continued: “I’m convinced it’s going to be the roaring ’20s with that extra sparkle when we get out [of quarantine].
“All of us have probably been looking at our festive wardrobes for a year, waiting to wear things.”
On what she plans to wear for her virtual Christmas parties, Olivia – who is married to German model Johannes Huebl – is quoted by Page Six Style as saying: “I’m really into skirt overlays that are kind of ’60s, and modernising it with a fabulous statement necklace.
“[It’s all about] making your most fabulous statements in your wardrobe and emphasising that, then leaving everything else basic or adding a great accessory.”
Elsewhere, the socialite admitted she never gives herself any New Year’s resolutions because she believes that you should “work on yourself all year round”.
She said: “I feel that you should work on yourself all year round and not just in January. Doing meditation, working out, taking time for yourself, going to the spa, focusing on things that you wouldn’t necessarily have the time [to].
“It’s a year of change for everyone, so things that you haven’t done, [you should] take the time for.”

Britney Spears has cut her own hair into a shorter choppy style

OHMYGOSSIP — Britney Spears has cut her own hair.
The ‘Matches’ singer – who famously shaved her head amid a breakdown in 2007 – decided to chop away at her locks herself like many A-listers have amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Alongside a snap of her new choppy hairdo, she wrote on Instagram: “Cut my hair !!!! You know what they say …. out with the old …. in with the new !!!!! Now let us pray (sic)”
Britney’s longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari is a huge fan of his partner’s new look.
He commented on the photo: “I love it.”
The 39-year-old pop superstar switching up her hairstyle comes after her dad claimed he hasn’t spoken to his daughter since August, and admitted he “misses her very much”.
The ‘Toxic’ singer is currently locked in a legal battle against her father, Jamie Spears, to have him permanently removed from her conservatorship, as she no longer wants him to have control over her life, as he has done since her conservatorship began following her public breakdown 13 years ago.
And Jamie, who believes remaining in his position is what’s best for his daughter, has insisted he “loves Britney unconditionally”.
He told CNN this week that he hasn’t spoken to his daughter for several months, and claimed the last contact he had with her was when her attorney filed to remove him as conservator.
He told the news outlet: “I love my daughter and I miss her very much. When a family member needs special care and protection, families need to step up, as I have done for the last 12-plus years, to safeguard, protect and continue to love Britney unconditionally.
“I have and will continue to provide unwavering love and fierce protection against those with self-serving interests and those who seek to harm her or my family.”
And Jamie’s attorney Vivian Lee Thoreen described his relationship with Britney as “not that different than your average father-daughter relationship”.
She explained: “There has always been a mutual love and respect for each other. Until Britney’s court-appointed attorney Sam Ingham abruptly instructed Jamie not to contact Britney a few months ago, Jamie and Britney had spoken often and regularly throughout the entire conservatorship.
